Toki still felt uncomfortable in crowded places, so he didn't frequent Terminus as often as some of the other cities in the Digital World, but today he braved the streets because he felt he could help find some information on his next and final Spirit totem. This was a strange time for him. Soon he'd reach the peak of his Digimon abilities. What would he do after that? How would this affect his friendship with Aylin? He wasn't exactly sure how he was going to tackle these questions and that brought a little worry to his usually optimistic self.
He decided he would rest at a small restaurant to have some lunch to get his mind off of these things. Cozy and comfortable, not unlike finding a nice cafe in Tokyo to relax in. He sat in a booth and ordered a drink and a little appetizer to get him started. He liked booth seats so he could stare out the window and watch the world go by. His mind drifted to DATS. How many of them have seen Terminus as it is today? With Digimon going about their daily lives not unlike humans...all with their own hopes and aspirations.
These thoughts were interrupted by his drink arriving. He thanked the waiter and took a sip. All of the friends he made....a lot time ago he never would have fathomed he'd have such a circle of friends or even have these kinds of powers and adventures. Things would work out. He knew they would.

Holly let out a small hum and turned her head to take in her surroundings. Her parents hadn't asked her to come here for anything but the meicrackmon had decided that she wanted to explore the megalopolis that was terminus, or at least the better parts of the city proper. The last few times that she had been to the city had really streamlined her experience and while the meicrackmon didn't mind that well... it led to her not seeing much than the inside of a few buildings.
It would maybe be an hour or two of her wandering before she felt her stomach growling fiercely. She'd place a hand on her stomach and frown lightly; she had already eaten this morning but with how much she had been walking around the meicrackmon probably had expended far too much energy. She'd let out another sigh and trot towards a somewhat small restaurant. It wasn't exactly the busiest place from what she could tell and that would help her in a different respect.
Not even a minute or so later she'd push open the door to the place, taking a quick look around. She could feel her tendrils perk up and her ears quickly followed suit as she recognized someone in the place. Her mother had introduced her a short time ago to the young man. It was one of her friends, which also felt like the young cat was a freinds with as well. Figuring that she might as well say hello the meicrackmon trotted over knocking on the edge of the table with a goofy smile.
"Hello Mr. Toki! Don't suppose I could join you? It's been a while!"
The meicrackmon figured of course that she would be welcome to do so but she'd remain standing until getting confirmation from the human. But that didn't stop her from asking questions while standing! Or sitting if he did allow her to do so. As she didn't know if he had just arrived here or was just about to leave. If it was the latter she figured he wouldn't mind waiting for a few minutes for her to get something to go. So of course she'd ask him a hopefully easy to answer question... at least to start stuff up between the two!
"How've you been? The last time I saw you was when Ma introduced us but you smell really different!"

Toki finally looked up from his thoughts when someone knocked on the table. It took him a few moments to realize who exactly was talking to him, but from her voice and how she spoke, it quickly dawned on him "Oh! Holly? Is that you? Looks like you've grown up some since the last time I saw you. Yeah, of course you can join me! We've got some catching up to do."
He smiled brightly at seeing Holly again. Last time they saw each other she was so small and adorably curious about everything around her. "I've been doing well. For the most part. I'm going to guess you heard about the incident in the forest and the surrounding areas...? I was involved in that mess. I helped get some Digimon to safety and stopped a rampaging dragon from just obliterating the whole region. A...lot more than that happened and a lot more people were involved, but that's the summary version."
He sighed a bit, not wanting to worry her with the whole story "And...I'm not sure what you mean by me smelling different? Maybe because I got my mega spirit totem since we last saw each other. I was actually here trying to find potential leads on the final totem to complete my spirit. Just to give my friend Aylin a bit of a break. She's been working too hard for her own good...though I honestly don't know where I'd be without her support."
After talking about himself for a bit he decided to ask some questions of his own "Well what about you? You're looking pretty different yourself! What have you been up to since we last saw each other? Last time I saw you, you were still a tiny cat asking a million questions about the human world!" he laughed. He put an order for a meal and took a sip of his drink "And now here you are in a new form. You must have some stories to tell, I'm sure."

Holly felt her face split into a rather big smile and the meicrackmon dipped her head in a nod as the human asked if it was her. Pleased that he did allow her to sit down with him as it seemed like he was just getting comfortable here. That was why he let her sit with him right? Well. That and them being fast friends!
"It's me all right! You could say that but really I haven't grown up as much as you would think.."
The meicrackmon huffed and seemed to pout a little bit before shaking her head, that smile quick to return. She was more teasing about that, she had really grown a lot since they last met in many many ways. She'd tilt her head to one side, tugging at a menu so that she could order something to drink herself. She had a few things in mind that she'd like to try. Last time she went out it had been smoothies, now it'd be shakes or perhaps 'soda'. Holly paused for a moment when Toki addressed the incident with the forest and those areas around it. Her eyebrows shot up when he said that he was a part of it and had helped some digimon get to safey... and fought a dragon?!
"I heard about it from my Ma. She was a part of it too, said something about a wisemon. Judging by how she came back I want to say that she won. You must be really strong Mr. Toki to of gotten involved in that."
Holly was quick to order her drink when the waiter came on by, blinking a bit when he then addressed the whole smelling different part. She'd purse her lips and then just nod. Getting another spirit probably meant getting more scents and more power. He would feel different. She'd blink at the mention of a friend Aylin and tried to imagine what they looked like; her face screwed up in effort.
"A mega spirit huh? Well. that could explain the scents and the different feeling. What's your mega spirit? Who's Aylin? Have you known them for a while?"
Holly then paused when he asked about her. Just how much had she been up to? She'd rub her chin at everything that she had been a part of since then. Some good, some bad, some inbetween. Mostly good thankfully. She'd grin lopsidedly at the mention of how she used to be a tiny cat asking a million questions.
"Well, shortly after we met I found out that I was capable of digivolving to champion form. The form you're seeing right now. My da had got it into his head that I should do some training to protect myself. Shortly after that I found out I could get to ultimate! I've learned how to properly fish, I've read most of the wings in the library in my spare time."
There was a long pause and she'd thank the waiter when they came by with her drink quickly getting back into it but not after tasting the shake. It was much different than the smoothies that she had tasted the other day!
"I joined a group that was... well not very healthy for me in the long run, with the help of a friend I was able to figure out what I wanted to do. Which is well... My Da's a doctor you know? And after the whole testing bit in the colleges, the group that I joined for that short spell well... I wanted to be a doctor like him! So that's what I'm kind of doing now. Studying and trying to get ready for schooling. Honestly not as much has happened as you would think."
Holly frowned a little bit and rubbed at her cheek. A lot had happened in her perspective but... when she was able to shortly talk about it like that? It didn't feel like as much. She'd drum her fingers on the table thoughtfully.
"I'm still curious about the human world, but from some of the news circulating through the cities I don't know if it's the wisest for me to visit it right now. But even past all that news there's a lot of stuff that interests me. I'd like to travel abroad if I go there, heard that there's a lot of sights to see. Like the Eiffel tower or the grand canyon. One of my friends said that some place has giant pyramids too! Then there's the great libraries that are there? I also heard that one of the greatest ones was burned down a long time ago but there's still ruins of it right?"

"K was there? I did hear something about two powerful Digimon clashing before they just...disappeared. I can only imagine it was K fighting Wisemon. Could that Wizardmon have been Wisemon the whole time?" he pondered, hand pressed against his chin. He blushed a bit when she said he must be strong "Heh, I don't think I'm all that strong. You should have seen some of the others out there!"
When asked about his mega spirit, he happily replied "Apparently my spirit was a variant on Cherubimon. It isn't virtue or vice. It's called ZenCherubimon. That form, while it's kind of hard to maintain, it very relaxing to be in. I think more clearly and each action I take feels...meaningful. I can heal people, restrain enemies...I've got a good balance of offense and supporting moves in that form. Who knows what the next form's going to hold?" There was a hint of excitement in his voice over that.
As for Aylin, he smiled fondly "She's been a good friend and companion throughout my adventures in the Digital World. She's an archaeologist and a treasure hunter who seems very invested in helping me find all of my spirit totems. Ever since I first got my Champion spirit, she's been there to help out. She doesn't do much fighting, but something tells me she's a lot stronger than she lets on. Kind of mysterious in that sense, but I trust her."
He listened as Holly recounted what she's been up to as of late "Well he had the right idea. Knowing how to protect yourself and others is important no matter where you are. And you can reach Ultimate? That's great! I bet someday soon you'll be able to give me a run for my money. Keep at it, Holly."
He frowned a bit "Though I'm sorry things didn't really work out between you and that group, but I'm glad you're discovering things about yourself. I think it's really amazing you want to be a doctor like Mikemon. He fixed me up after the forest incident. I owe him. According to him, the Sovereign gifted my spirit a piece of new code that gives me access to one of its abilities. I'm...honored."
He thought about what Holly said "Ooh, you're talking about the Library of Alexandria. Yeah that's pretty far away from Japan. Maybe...maybe one day once humanity and Digimon become closer it will be easier to travel abroad like that. I wouldn't mind seeing it myself. The Eiffel Tower is in France, the Grand Canyon is in the United States...that's a lot of traveling, Holly! But you strike me as the traveler sort. Either way, I'm sure you'll be able to live your dreams."
