Leo has finally decided to join a team, seeing how things usually escalate in her adventures and her being still inexperienced she thought it would be a good idea to have more people around that can help her and guide her in this crazy world, not that she doesn't have friends that can do that but since she can't go back to the human world there'll be a moment where she'll be alone and something crazy and stupid might happen.
Travelling in a RV she bought and customize some weeks ago (If she was going to live in the digital world better have a place to be comfortable and call home, right?) the German move to the northern region of the digital world, making a quick stop in Snowflake Village to pick up a friend, a girl named Ayaka she met on Tamernet and later meet personally on a second visit to the Server Woods.
"Nice to see you again" Eleonora smiled as she saw her friend again "It's been a while and I'm glad you could come, I know this'll be really fun, follow me for the surprise~" Greetings done Eleonora guide Aya and Coolmon to her RV "Welcome to my humble home" Said the German making a small bow and letting the girls in "Get yourself comfortable as I drive to our destination"
It's usually a little quite since she can't fit all her partners in the vehicle so having now some one to talk while on the road and the blonde was really happy to seeing Aya again so any kind of conversation even for small as it could be was welcomed
"So what you two have been up to?" She asked "Must've been a little boring for Coolmon to greet me that way on Tamernet~"
It make take them some minutes to reach destination, hopefully Yuuki or another member of Kizna would be waiting for them already, feels like applying for a job being honest, only she doesn't have a CV ready aside a friend that can tell them "Yeah she's that crazy", maybe it'll be best to keep her partners in the Xros Loader just to be safe that certain ball of metal doesn't do something stupid to give them troubles

The meeting point that Leo had designated was Snowflake Village--a rather cozy place located in the Northern Prominence. So that's why she didn't want her to bring the armor, huh? Good thing Aya had come prepared--though prepared in her case meant her real world garb paired with an EV suit. She and Coolmon had been waiting at the Trailmon station for a bit when Leo came by, greeted them and led them to the surprise...
"Well, it's not like we're doing much apart from the occasional patrol. It's nice to see you again as well--in person, too." Aya said, offering the German a smile as she followed along. Coolmon peered around the RV and squinted. She had been to one of these before, but this one wasn't inhabited by rednecks...
So that was already way better. The rabbit looked to Leo. "...Greet? I wasn't on Tamernet...Did one of those bots get my account again?" She inquired in confusion, something that prompted a blush from Aya. "M-Moving on! As I said earlier, we've mostly been doing patrols. They've expanded in scope in that we're covering other places apart from the woods. Like the Dark Area."
"Which might be arguably worse than thirst-inducing woods." Coolmon nodded.
This was going to be a bumpy ride to wherever it was they were going.

Southern Gate, that's where they'll came in from. Considering that the western gate is for train and the eastern gate is mostly for exit only, he can't think anywhere else they came from. Plus, southern gate is exactly where it goes straight from Snowflake's last stop before they go to Ys, so he guess people would of course chose the southern gate, right? Well either way, here he is. He quickly typed something to the D-Nexus, hopefully able to contact Eleonora. Good Morning, I hope you have been well.As scheduled today, I shall be waiting in a cafe slash pub named Aeterna on the southern center of the city. If got lost or not sure where to go, you can ask the city's guide. There are small offices on the roadside with compass sign, those are them. If you need direct assistance, please do not hesitate to ask them to accompany you directly. They're all trained professionals. We hope to meet you soon.Itou YuukiThe south gate would be pretty much a big opening which leads to a five minutes long walk tunnel, but should they pass through the gate, they would see the blue wonder of a city that is Ys. The city is bustling with various Digimons of various origins. While not as colorful as Terminus, it's seem many Digimons called this place home. The city buildings are mostly made from corals, but also coupled with bricks and natural elements such as woods, mostly imported. The city have strange balance between technology and nature and magic. What would you call place with futuristic floating cabs, but with gas lamp without the gas and just the flames, and nature elements mixed in it? Yet, as weird as it is, the cohesion still what made Ys... well, Ys! |

Leo chuckled as Coolmon confessed not being on Tamernet today, this was going to be a fun ride, it was nice to see that they were doing OK even if their patrols move to a place known as the Dark Area, Leo heard a little about that place certainly worse than the woods, but this duo is pretty capable
"Nice, I'm glad you two are OK, I've been jumping from place to place, got a couple of new friends and bought this thing to be my home" She made a pause "I mean, if I'm going to live on the digital world I gotta do it with style, right? And this baby is well prepared, it has hover pads, a jet engine, chrome digizoid armor, I can deconstruct it and save it on my Xros Loader and more importantly, a pair of fuzzy dice!" She pointed at the small red dices hanging from the rearview
She might have expended a lot more than what she would like to admit but being honest a flying motorhome with air canons is something you can't just say no, and since she most likely will be spending a lot of time on it might as well make sure that a digimon could just spit fire and destroy it
"Here, this is one of my new friends!" The German said as she pick her Xros Loader and materialized a small and stubby dragon like digimon "It's a Gaossmon, responds to the name Bork and no, I didn't pick it up"
Bork move towards the girls and sniff them before barking happily and waggling his tail, the moment he noticed the movement of his tail the little Gaossmon started running in circles trying to catch it
"Can you see why that name was picked? Also don't flip him over, once he's belly up he gets stuck like a turtle unable to stand up again"
After some minutes driving Leo receive a message from Yuuki saying that he'll be waiting for her at the Aeterna bar, the girl kept driving until she reach the south entrance from there it was mostly asking for directions and looking around the city, the city itself was rather interesting with buildings made of what it looked like corals and roads paved with stone, and although it wasn't anything like Terminus there were still a lot of digimon walking around giving a more lively image to the ancient city
And soon enough they arrive to the bar Aeterna, Leo took a look back just to be sure that Bork was still with them as the Gaossmon kinda has a tendency to get distracted and wander off by himself, the blonde picked up the little dragon so he wouldn't go away nor cause trouble and giving a smile to Aya and Coolmon she entered looking for the Kizna member waiting for her, hopefully they'll find him quickly so the interview can begin ASAP and her nervousness died down a little

So, evidently Leo had to have come into ownership of a metric buttload of bits to be able to afford this stuff. Because all of this? The RV and everything? It sure seemed expensive. Aya nodded towards Leo before the girl materialized...The strangest Digimon she had seen so far. Mostly because it was a short creature that was just a head and legs...
...Aya moved to try petting Bork before the Gaossmon started chasing his tail. "Aww, he's like a weird little dog! He's precious." Coolmon glanced towards Leo and nodded. "Yeah, they're like turtles. I used to run a Gaossmon Correction Stand where I'd flip them over if they were belly up, but that never took off, so I started running an ice cream stand instead."
There was silence from Aya, before the girl just piped up. "Wait, THAT'S what you do when I'm at class? Sell ice cream?"
"Yeah?"
When they arrived at Ys (and the bar who's name was...kind of familiar to Coolmon,) they peered around. Someone had to have a uniform, right? Eventually, Coolmon just barked out, "Hey, who's a member of KIZNA here? We've got one German to deliver!"

Aeterna, Cafe at the day, Bar at the night, it's such a strange settlement, but that's what the owner wanted. Compared to the Terminus one, this Aeterna is bigger, with more seating places, warmer atmosphere, and less... aesthetically disjointed compared to its neighboring buildings. Either way, there are quite number of customers, and there are a lot of workers inside too, chatting and generally just speaking about whatever came to mind. The sight of older Digimons however are rare and there are more humans at this time, perhaps because it was meant to be cafe after all. Speaking of which... the moment Coolmon asked so, nearly everyone there raised their hand.
....this city is KIZNA's base after all.
A small chuckle could be heard from the counter, where a Dorumon is drying a glass. "If you're asking who's KIZNA and who's not, most of people here are going to say that they're KIZNA. If you have someone in particular, perhaps the barkeep can help you. Either way, who are you looking for, young lady? Come here to the counter. Lemme treat you some milkshake, or if you want, something warmer perhaps? Oh, and some food too if you haven't ate any!"

Eleonora smiled as Aya called Gaossmon precious for being like a weird little dog, hopefully the girl will have the chance to see the other weird but big dog and then the blonde chuckled as Coolmon said that she use to work by flipping over Gaossmon, at least this means her's is not really dumb but the whole species seems to be that way
Soon they reach the bar and Coolmon announce them by asking who was part of Kizna and that they had a German to deliver, it was at that moment when the aforementioned German wanted the ground to open and eat her as now every look was on them, and would you know it? Everybody raise their hand.
Luckily a Dorumon behind the bar decided to help a little in this situation inviting the girls to get to the counter and asking if they wanted a milkshake or something mor warmer, he seemed and look adorable while drying a glass like a stereotypical bartender
"Thanks, just a coffee would be fine, mind if I leave him on the counter?" She asked still holding the dog dinosaur "He's afraid of heights so won't jump and I need to keep an eye on him or might run away, I could put him on the Xros Loader but I just took him out I'd feel a little bad for that" Maybe because she was still a little nervous she ramble about Gaossmon for a second "Sorry, gotta focus, I'm looking for Yuuki? We talk about me joining Kizna and he said the interview would be here, My name is Eleonora"
Hopefully the Dorumon would be able to help her, and if not at least she got a nice warm coffee before starting to look for her interviewer, it's a win-win

There was a strange...familiarity in that voice to Coolmon. "Yeah, actually! Milkshakes sound really damn good right now." The rabbit felt a bit embarrassed at the single biggest show of hands she had ever seen since the last time she showed up to anything regarding this organization.
Aya scratched the back of her head, before she went to pat the Gaossmon in Leo's arms. "Hey, take it easy. I don't think anything's going to hurt you here. At least, not worse than Coolmon's...uh. Dignity?" Speaking of, Coolmon nodded to Hikaru. "Yeah, we need one Yuuki to conduct one interview with one German. Super simple, right?"

"A Coffee and a Milkshake is it?" Hikaru was honestly amused at the sight of the Gaossmon on his counter. Well, he had one word to say though. "As long as he doesn't make mess or run around, you're free to have him there. Anyway, Yuuki might have a bit of an interview before you, so I suggest to take it easy for the meantime... I think he'll call you once he's done with some batch. That guy, he prefers to conduct an interview one by one, no matter how tedious it is... so it will take a bit of a time I guess?"
And it's at that time the guy beside them suddenly speak. "So a newbie huh? Well, welcome to Ys." brown hair, teal blue eyes, the youth looked about seventeen to eighteen. "Looks like our crew is expanding again. You don't have to worry really. The interview is usually very lax and casual. Mine is no different really. Just someone asking me why I wanted to join, or what's my goal and all that... just answer truthfully. If you lie though," he grinned mischievously "maybe you'll get punished by a little shock? Ahah, jokes aside, Eleonora eh? How do you like the city? Are you two going to join us too, ladies?"
"That sounded a bit too much like flirting," Hikaru commented, teasing the youth.
"Oh c'mon, you know I'm already taken!"
"Should I tell Karin-chan after all?"
"He won't believe you."
"Is that a quiver I heard?"
"I swear if you keep this up I'll tell Perry that you bullied me."
"ANYTHING BUT THAT! DON'T MAKE MY DAUGHTER HATE ME!"

Aya is right, the blonde should be relax no one is going to hurt her, honestly it was going to be hard hurt her after all the crazy things she lived in the digital world thus far, she can take this interview down no problem! She left the stubby dragon on the counter and waited for either Yuki or her coffee or both!
Gaossmon was not that happy to be left on a high place, the little digimon let out a soft whimper and pouted as he look down and definitely was going to be unable to jump out, tho Aya's headpat relax him a bit, for the most time Bork remained silent until he hear the voice of another human directing to the girls, at that moment the little digimon barked twice and then quickly forgot about it deciding to spin in place before laying down and sleep, what a weird digimon...
But focusing on the young man he did a good job helping the German to ease, even the (at least she hope) joke of getting punish by a little shock if she lie was welcome.
"Oh you will have to one up that threat, because a little shock at this point would be as bad as a slap on the wrist" Eleonora laughed "Actually they are already on a team but funny story is that I jokingly said that no one would believe my stories about my little experience in the digital world without witness, and Yuki told me it was OK to bring friends as witness, so I here they are they also help to not be a nervous wreck"

See, the stresses of an upcoming interview were something that Aya had to grapple with before, which was why she was taking calming Leo's nerves so seriously. She was MORE than familiar with how scary it could seem, so...maybe that's the source of her ability to calm folks down.
That, or there was something more nefarious at foot. Both Aya and Coolmon shook their heads at the offer. "We're already taken, yes." Aya stated.
"Yep! We're with the Knights of the Rose. We're more here to corroborate details. And so Aya can hug Leo to get rid of interview stress."
"Yes, tha--...What?" Aya looked a little confused. At the mention of helping not to be a nervous wreck, though, the girl reached out to pat Eleonora on the back. Yeah, they were doing their job, alright!

"Hey if I up the threat, it's going to be bad for our public imagine! No one going to join, seriously... although... sounds like you have quite the adventure, eh? Hey, I think if you tell me your adventure and I believe it, I'm sure the leader would believe you too. I don't want to sound offensive, but I also got my share of adventure too, and everything is as outrageous as they sound," the youth answered toward Eleonora.
"So what's your story? Saw a ghost in Digimon World? Terrorist attack on the mall? Have to run from Scumon, Geremon and Numemons as some pile of trash they were from falling on you? Also, I think this is asked often, but what's your aspiration? Cause you know, because lot of dangerous adventure that you did, surely it's strange for someone to not just run away from Digital World, take a hiatus, whatever you call it. What makes you want to stay? Oh, answer like "I'm a masochist" is not good (lol). "
Hikaru meanwhile snorted. "Your order, ladies," he put the drinks on the counter after receiving it from the kitchen. "And your ebi fry, bud. I think you'll be here for a while, wanna order anything else?"
"Heh, well, I guess later I'll order something more balanced. For now just leave me with this ebi fry and tartare sauce. Anyway, so you two from the Roses, eh... We got Holly who's apparently daughter of the leader... my condolences for her passing too."
"That's right, actually there was talk about Knights and KIZNA discussion of alliance and whatnot, but before we could even start on it, it ended up gated by the death of the leader..." Hikaru mused. "Either way, do you ladies want any kind of food while at it?"

Oh boy if this guy was throwing questions on Leo's way, and of all scenarios he mention only the ghost was accurate and the terrorist on the mall she could consider rather worst than what she experienced so far, but he wants to hear and he will get the adventures of the German
"Alright..." She took a deep breath "I actually meet some Bakemon before they told me how useless and worthless I was and how I fail everyone by getting myself lost in a forest without my partners, in that same adventure I punch a Sepikmon and threat to break his mask, also I threw a rock to Lilithmon's face not A Lilithmon mind you, THE Lilithmon, then I was chase by a Devitamamon and when I thought we escape and everything was going to be OK I was transported to meet the Three Sacred Angels and what was left of my mind freaking exploded, and you know just to drop one last problem at "how stupid bad went that adventure" three enter the forest and just two came out, I have no idea if Tsukiko is still alive or not"
The blonde stop once her coffee came, she took a sip and wait some minutes to let that whole story sink in, because she's nowhere near finish to end the retelling of her adventures, you could say that's the tip of the iceberg, once again Eleonora took a deep breath getting ready for the next stories
"After that I went to a desert following a scientist that I heard work for a group known as "Decode Network" group that I won't enter in details because that's it's own rabbit hole to explore, but the important thing is that scientist wanted to use digimon as weapons and was looking to capture a Tyrannomon, with the help of a Mamemon X that later join my group and a duo of a Lekismon and Psychemon we were able to stop him.
Is that all? Oh hell no, now comes the part where Aya and Coolmon can confirm her crazy antics
"Then I went back to the forest because that was the last place I saw Lilithmon and Aya was going on patrol there and I wasn't just going to sit there and let her be in danger, all things consider a fairly normal patrol until Okuwamon attacked and then I just grab a bomb and throw it on his mouth." She said casually and took another sip of her coffee "Do I need to keep going? I have at least on more adventure to tell" The German smiled
Being honest she wasn't that proud but at the same time she wanted to see the reactions of the guy and Dorumon about everythng she went through, if those two are impressed surely Yuki too and that will be enough to cover her digital experience.
"About my goals.... I have two" This might be the first time she talks about her goals openly so she took a minute to collect her ideas "You'll see my memories are really all over the place, I can't recall anything before meeting Lilithmon but I do know what my main goal and why I was here on the digital world, to find my father, my two partners know him so there is a chance he is still here somewhere" But before doing that there was a more pressing matter and it was her second goal "Thing is... Something happen on that encounter with Lilithmon... I can't say what happen that moment so openly, so I'll save that for Yuki if he really needs to hear about it, anyways thing is I can't complete my first goal without defeating Lilithmon and fixing what happen back in the forest"

...You know, Leo never really told her the entire story of what happened to her in the woods. Aya was quick to make the connection, and listened to her friend tell that tale in full. The lilac-haired lady put a hand on Leo's shoulder, as if to try reassuring the German some. "Have you tried contacting her at all?" Aya inquired, regarding this Tsukiko person. She couldn't just die after such a thing, right?
She and Coolmon could also assume that the Mamemon mentioned was Kamina. So that's how he joined them? Nifty. They didn't have much to say or think about regarding this one, for it was the next one that truly required confirmation or validation. "She genuinely did throw a bomb at that Okuwamon." Aya stated, which was followed by Coolmon. "Yup! Just threw it in there like it was nothing."
...And before any talk about goals ensued? Aya tilted her head towards Leo. "...Thank you for going with me, by the way. I legitimately don't think I can offer enough thanks." Anyways, the duo fell silent and sipped their drinks while Leo spoke of her goals. To find her missing father, and beat the fuck out of Lilithmon.
"...Nice." Said Coolmon.

Boy, they're in for some treat aren't they? Hikaru's smile increasingly faltered each seconds Leo spoke, and he glanced at the boy... yeah, his expression become rather complicated too... from a smile, to tiny one... to exasperated one... to outright 'the fuck am I dealing with' smile. There's just some silent despair coming from that smile although it's not quite visible on his face.
"...Ahem... uh... I guess that's a damn lot of powermoves there..." the youth finally commented. "Either way... I see why you feel there's a need of someone to... vouch for you. I can totally see why now..."
"By the way, isn't this the time?"
"Oh right, the interview is almost done, isn't it? Well, then... you two, would you please follow me?"
Both the youth and Hikaru left the counter, and soon they entered a room elsewhere, one that seem to be more well decorated compared to the rest. There are tables for a party, but it looked more formal than the rest. The youth touched the three petaled badge on his chest, and its position suddenly shifted toward the corner of his shoulderblade, where it turned into a small shield. The rest of his clothing also changed, to those of what looked like mix of armor and uniform. Yuuki sat on one of the chair, smiling.
"Well, then... shall we begin our introduction again? Name's Itou Yuuki... It's kind of a stealth interview, honestly and all I'm saying is I'm quite pleased in what I heard so far.."
"And I'm his partner, Hikaru," Hikaru introduced himself.
"Well there you have it... before your acceptance, I have some questions... One: You said you don't remembered what happened prior Lilithmon... what exactly do you mean? Second... About your father, would you please tell me what happened, then? KIZNA is not simply just here for making friends with Digimon... We also handle cases like missing person, be it chosen, or people who got kidnapped from Digital shenanigans. That's offer we'll give to everyone, pretty much."
