That had been a decisive occasion to deal a lethal blow to the Angewomon; was it a pity that, instead, it had been used to keep off both opponents distracted. Was that the correct decision? One could say, even though it had given some precious moments to the fallen angel to recover from what had been an otherwise critical condition. Similarly, it had bought Karin some precious seconds to avoid being grabbed by Heraldmon.
"You'll pay for that." Another corrupted arrow was nocked in the angel's hand-bow. Freya had to think fast if she wanted to keep the momentum! Especially since, while the aberration that was Amelie's evolved form had been slowed, its advance wasn't halted completely.
Were things getting out of control? One could say so, even though the whole situation wasn't as clear as it could be. Not to say, how it was supposed to proceed largely depended on how Freya and even Karin acted. What would happen was most uncertain at the moment, and that just made the panorama even tenser, if that was even possible.

Well, aren't this a pitch. First Amelie seem has yet snapped out of it (perhaps she should give her a little slap)... and on the other hand, the lady over there is trying to butt in this little friendly spat. Trying to nock arrow to her bow too? Tasteless.
In middle of her singing, Freya's verses somehow changed nature. From what sounded like a march suddenly shifted to a foreboding one, which perhaps sounded more and more like a chant for purification to those who hears it. But it's not limited to that. The angel suddenly floated, a sphere of light coated her... but instead of a healing ability, it's an attack ability instead. Tons of comets made of light suddenly rained down on the corrupted Angewomon.
"What a boor," she commented the moment she landed. As for Amelie, she grabbed the aberration on... anything basically looked like a shoulder, then smiled....
...That smile is accompanied by a slap though, aimed from her left to her right. As much as she wanted to enact some good slapfest with the corrupted one, she prefer to stop Amelie from doing irreversible things to Karin.Seriously, wake up already!

For a chance, things were finally managing to look good. It seemed like Karin had managed to make Heraldmon stop, the aberration's finally grinding to a halt after that momentous slap. For a moment, its body stopped dead on its tracks before... collapsing and falling kinda dramatically on top of the blonde, all while slowly devolving.
Suffice to say that Karin was now risking having a certain unconscious brunette fall atop her. Quite the problem, wasn't it? At least comparatively, considering that Freya was doing quite well on her stead. Her attack had hit the fallen angel effectively, and had succeeded at completely knocking the wind out of her.
She fell as well, but her situation wasn't as pleasant at Amy's. It came without saying that she had, by all means and purposes, defeated. And, while she remained silent, the snarl on her face was obvious enough, it came as little surprise that she was silently waiting for the inevitable conclusion of her clash with her uncorrupted version.
The question regarding the resolution of this conflict was more than obvious. What would Karin or Freya do in the face of this?

T'was enough to knock her down? Oops, Freya wondered if she was going too strong. Karin though does not mind being cushion, and quickly pulled the unconscious Amelie back with her, just in case of something going wrong.
Either way, she stepped forward, bow ready, arrow nocked, just in case she's trying to do some things. "And so, as I promised, let's begin the questioning, shall we?" Freya smiled
There's a saying that demons are actually less scary than angels. Sure they might be malicious beings, and at times twists things to their liking, or toss things out of whack simply because they like it, but... Actually, the scarier ones would be angels. They get things done, no matter what they have to do in order to do so. They don't know compromise, and are efficient... verily so.
Thankfully, Freya knows compromise... Unfortunately, she'll do everything in her power to ask what's going on here...
"Let's see... Hmmm, too bad I don't have any binding techniques... but I guess some holy ribbons would be good enough, yes? Before everything though... Start talking. I couldn't care less of why you're fallen... I'm more interested on how on earth you could stay in that form while being fallen. Not to mention, tell me what is Lilithmon's cult doing around here? What's your plan, hmn?"

The situation for the fallen Angewomon was far from optimal; by all intents and purposes, her plan had suddenly fallen apart given the angel's persistence. Did it mean that the angel would be gracious in defeat?
Not at all. It's been obvious that the chances of that even actually happening were pretty close to zero. “You pretentious little…” She muttered under her breath. “I'm gonna wipe that grin out of your face even if that's the last thing I do.”
From that moment onward, there would be little warning. The fallen angel's clothes would glow on an ominous red, malignant energy pulsating within. As knowledgeable as Freya was, there was little doubt on what would happen next. The question was, could she shield herself—and the humans from the resulting suicidal blast? At least at the moment, it was pretty hard to tell, mostly because it depended on her mostly!
What about the girls themselves? Well... at least at the moment, Amelie was still unconscious, so it mostly depended on Karin to see if she would be able to do anything about this predicament, in case Freya failed to do so. The situation couldn't be more tense; would they be able to make it? The fight had raged on, and frankly, it had been intense enough if it weren’t for one small fact Amelie had recovered her consciousness fairly quickly… and not only that; her evolution had followed almost instantly, and Heraldmon was now behind the fallen Angewomon.
The first hit resounded against the angel’s skull like a sickening crack. The second? It was a bit on the wet side. Whatever followed was best left undiscussed, except for the broken body that remained after that frenzied assault.
It had all passed in an instant, just as the digimon’s presence. Just like how it had graced the scene, it wasn’t there anymore. [Exit]
