Battle at the Big Bridge [For Glory] [Kenny]

Oh, how it was satisfyingly glorious to watch not only the spirits drag this horrid fool into the abyss below further with them, but both the two most prominent figures outright tear him to shreds with mere words alone. Surtr let out a long and booming cackle as soon as the two entities finished ripping into him, "Y̛où ̶see,͘ fo҉ol̨? Until he heard Toki speak once more. And instead of submitting into his well-deserved misery and accepting himself as the failure that he was, he just paid no heed to it. No anger, no bitterness... nothing. But how? He was fully expecting him to just snap right then and there. He wasn't even struggling or lashing out at the slightest at all the dark spirits surrounding him.
Instead, as the tea flowed all over the spirits still gripping onto Toki's feet, their grip started to loosen, and started to sink back into the ground, almost looking a little content, too. If there was any consolation Surtr had left, at least the fool's attack was still lowered, tainted by the darkness. He kept his gaze on the Kenshimon, as he proclaimed he would die for his so-called 'crimes'.
For a few moments, Surtr felt his eyes twitch a little in anger, as some of the dark spirits, still loyal to him, started to rise up from the ground and swirl around him. Then a crooked smile emerged on his face as they started to envelop his body, "If̸̷ ̡͟͠à͘ny͏òņe͟͞ ̡͘͢i̧̨s͞ ̴̷͡g͡o̢͘͠i̢̢n̷g͘ t̷o ̢̀͜d͟i͢͜e̛ ̵̷h̶͢e̷͜͞r҉̴e̶̵ ̸͜͞t̛҉̛òd͡ay͜, i̴t̡ ̷̢͞w͢il͝l̸̡ ҉͟b͟e͜҉ ̷́y͠ơú͝ ̧̕͡a̴̧n̢̨d̢͘ ̕͢͞ỳ̛o̧͝u̕ al̵o̡͝n̸e̶.̛ ͡҉B͜͏út ̡u̧͏̕ṕ̸͜ ̶͠u̵nt̢ì̡́l̷̶̡ ǹ͢ơ̡w̸, ̡́I̢͜͡ ͟͟w̷̨͜a̡s̴ j̨̀͠u҉̨͝st̴͢ ̛t͘͏o̷͞͞y̶͏i̶ng ́a̡r̵͢o̸̷͝ų͜͜n͠͏d͡ ̸̛wit͠h̡ ͟y̕o̷u̡.̸҉ ̕͘͝Y̵͘ơu ҉ś̢h̶a͟l͞l͏̶́ ͞n̵o̸t͏͟͞ ̛e҉sc͠a͞p̢e̡̛ ̸͘hę̛͡r̢ę̢́ ͜a̴l͠ív̧e,̢͠ and͘ o͢͞͝nl͘y͠ ̵y̵̧͢où͝ w̶͘i̶̧͞ļl͘҉͝ ̷̶d̢i͢è̶̕,̵̢ ͜al͞o͢͝né,̨͜ re̡m̀͢͝ę͞m͜b҉̶e̵҉r̀́ed̀ ̡̛òn͏͘͢l̡y͘͟ ̵a̧s͏ ̡͘a͡҉͏ ҉͜f̷̡͏a͢i͏l̸u̡r͡e҉!҉"
Once the spirits were finished surrounding him, his form looked a touch more different; a radiant black aura surrounded his entire body like a burning flame, his wings of darkness were stuck out right in front of him, and his claws lengthened to the point of absoulte sharpness, and his eyes, both the one on his chest and his normal eyes, were glowing a bright red, as he let out another maniacal cackle.
"N̴҉ǫ̕͘͞w̵̴͏͟ ̷̀͢͝͏t҉͢͡͝͠h̴̡̛ę̸̢̧͞ ̷̛r͘͢͡e̵͠a͡҉̧̢l̢̀ ͝҉͟͝m̨͢͝a̵̴̸̧͞s͟͡s̢͢͝a͏͏̡҉͝c͠͡ŕ̷͝ȩ̵ ́͟͝b͘͝ę͢͞͠g̸͏̴į̴̶͞n͏҉̨͢s̢͢.͘͢͏͏"
Toki has successfully repelled the spirits crawling all over him. So in response, Surtr uses Friends From The Darkness to power himself and goads Toki into attacking him.
Friends From The Darkness: Surtr calls upon the dark forces from the underworld to empower him further than before. Upon this he enters a ‘berserker stage’, where he gains a 50% attack boost, and 20% speed boost for 3 posts, in exchange for dropping his accuracy by 20% thanks to his unbridled madness and rage consuming him alive. (3 post cooldown)
Known Passives: Memory Intrusion (non-combat passive): Surtr can look into the memories of anyone he intends to face before combat starts. This is a very bad thing because he will be using these horrific memories to his advantage in some way or another. However, opponents can able to resist it if they catch onto what he’s doing, albeit it won’t be easy.
Wings of Darkness (non-combat passive): He can summon wings composed of pure darkness to fly whenever he wants, wherever he wants.
Fall Into Despair! (Passive): For each named attack that Surtr inflicts contact upon his opponent, they get a ‘token’ applied to them. This token reduces opponent’s defenses by 10%, up to a maximum of 5 tokens, or a 50% defense drop. This cannot be removed by any passive or attack the opponent may have. However, if he fails to land a successful hit against an enemy (not counting clones or dummies or the like), the enemy loses a token.
Durations: Friends From The Darkness (+50% Atk, +20% Spd, -20% Accuracy): 0/3 Realm of Helheim: 2/5
Cooldowns: Demon's Bloodline: 3/4 Call of Ragnarock: 2/5 Realm of Helheim: OPT

Toki stood across from Surtr, breath calm and collected as he rested his hand on his blade. He uttered a soft prayer for the spirits sinking back into the shadow, vowing that they would be free of the nightmare soon. He had a plan...but with the negative affects of Helheim restricting his full potential, he didn't want to use his strongest techniques yet. This realm still had an oppressive atmosphere that weakened his body and strengthened Surtr's.
In that case, Toki decided not to give into the goading. Surtr knew he was at an advantage. He may have even thought he wasted his only healing technique on the spirits. Toki smiled as he took a deep breath, centering his mind and soul. A faint aura emanated from his figure as the wounds from earlier eased with his focused breathing. He was still in a draw stance, as if in an attempt to psyche out Surtr with an attack that would never come.
He opened his eyes once more, fierce and determined "A lesson for you." He said as he stood up straight and with a renewed strength "Never give an enemy time to collect themselves..." He said. Now Toki was ready to fight this out until the time came to properly strike, and Surtr's boasting gave him the idea to try his best to stall this out as long as he possibly could.
"I do not take pride in this, Surtr. I would have liked for you to end this peacefully. After seeing the torment you put others though, however...then the time for peace is over." He decided to dig into Surtr's pride even more "You think you are strong. That you're on par with gods and that you and whatever this thing you worship are suitable for ruling a new world. You're just a coward. You may have power but you have no idea how to actually use it in a way that matters. Your own validation and vanity is not enough to justify your actions."
-----
Toki takes advantage of Surtr's current inaction to heal himself with Meditation Cure.
(RAM Upgrade Giga) Meditation Cure: Takes a deep breath to focus his body and mind. The tranquil meditation heals him for a large amount, but it takes quite some time to reach that level of focus again. (4 post cooldown.)
Cooldowns: Starfelling Slash 3/4, Tranquil Eclipse 2/3, Blossoming Moonlight 2/2, Moonblossom Tea 1/4, Meditation Cure 0/4.

At this point, Surtr was at his wits end. Not only this fool had utterly humiliated him so far. but every single one of his plans were falling apart at the seams. His attempt to intimidate Toki into submission was just met with cockiness, his clever tactics were effortlessly countered with absolute ease, and his ultimate attempt to strike at the boy mental state only resulted in the child merely shrugging it off. A low menacing snarl emerged from Surtr's throat as his gaze pierced into the fool in front of him, waiting for him to strike.
But it never came. Instead, Toki just stood there, calm and collected, and... now this fool was daring to humiliate him further by taking the time to heal himself, before outright mocking him to his face? How dare he? Did he even know who he was? He was the harbringer to the new world! And this... this fool had the guts to treat him as nothing but a coward? This stupid, horrible fool?
...now he defiantly needed to die, for the sake of the new world. For the sake of the Great One. The fate of the new world depended on it!
With another snarl, he came charging at Toki head first directly, his claws outstretched in front of him as the dark aura radiated on them once more, at both high speeds and high intensity, faster than before. Should he have reached Toki he would have swung down his claws aiming to claw at him in an X shape... yet as soon as they made contact, he disappeared once more into the darkness, leaving Toki completely unharmed.
Or at least until Surtr quickly re-emerged from behind Toki instead, and went for another 'X' slash across his torso. There was no more time to waste. The sooner Surtr could eliminate this poor fool from the world, harvest his souls and start the birth of a new era waiting in the wings, the better. And how glorious it would be to see the fool beg, plead, cry like the little child he was?
Surtr rushes dead ahead at Toki, attempting to fake him out by activating Shadowstep to teleport behind him directly and slash at him with Abyss Ripper.
Shadowstep: A veil of darkness/fog/whatever element of his choice covers Surtr in his entirety in the blink of an eye, making him look like he’s vanished in his entirety. However, in reality, he then reappears within a 500 meter radius of where he used this ability to retaliate with absolute ease. He can use another attack and/or ability the same post he uses this ability, however, both cooldowns will be increased by one. This cannot be done with any OPT attacks he may or may not have. (3 post cooldown)
Abyss Ripper: Surtr’s blades are shrouded in complete darkness and lengthen in size, before he goes for a direct slash with them to strike the opponent, tearing into their flesh as painfully as possible with his 2 weapons. A simple, yet very effective attack. (1 post cooldown)

Toki slightly drew his blade in anticipating for the strike, only to notice that Surtr had vanished. Surtr's speed had increased, which left him unable to properly counter this time around. As he tried to turn around, Surtr's claws dug into Toki's body as he stumbled away. he turned and backed away from Surtr. With that speed he was going to have a hard time biding his time. This dome and Surtr's increased power couldn't last forever.
He needed to keep him at bay, and now that he used that vanishing trick again, he hoped he would be able to keep a closer eye on him. He took another draw stance as something began to flutter around in the darkness. There's the sudden sound of something gliding through the air and the snap of Toki's blade being sheathed again, but Toki's movements were a blur. After that snap, the petal that floated near Surtr erupted into shining blades that swung out towards him. Then more petals began to home in on him.
Slice after slice, the petals were cut asunder and slashed out with dozens of blades from each one. They would continue to pursue Surtr for a time before fading away into nothingness. Toki's focus was unshakable as he struck again and again to keep Surtr away and on his toes.
Toki had gone though most of this battle with an air of eerie, almost supernatural calm. The anger within him was controlled and poured into each attack that threatened to crash into Surtr's being with the force and beauty of a raging waterfall. It wasn't that Toki was immune to the emotional jabs and taunts. It's simply that Toki had faced these demons before and had made peace with them. He knew that if he had faced Surtr before, he would have assuredly lost before the battle even began. Now...it was different.
----
Toki is struck by Abyss Ripper and goes on the defensive. He barrages Surtr with the ability Petals of the Blessed Moon to keep his distance.
Petals of the Blessed Moon: Lotus petals float towards an enemy as Kenshimon takes a draw stance. In nearly imperceptible motions, he slashes his blade and one of the lotus blossoms erupts into shining blades that threaten to slice the enemy apart. He repeats this motion several times as the blossoms pursue an enemy. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Cooldowns: Starfelling Slash 4/4, Tranquil Eclipse 3/3, Moonblossom Tea 2/4, Meditation Cure 1/4, Petals of the Blessed Moon 0/3.

The sweet, sweet sounds of the claws actually scraping into the fool's flesh was glorious, oh so glorious. Surtr let out another unearthly cackle as the boy was sent stumbling away. It was to his mild disappointment the boy didn't cry out in pain, but no matter. By the time he was finished with him, that fool would be withering away into nothing, begging him to let him live.
Watching the boy stumble off, Surtr couldn't help but laugh at the fool once more, " Y̵e̷s͟͞,̕͢ ̶͠͡r̴u͘̕n͜͞!̕͝ ҉҉R̀̕͢u͟n̛ ̢̡͘l͘i͏k͡ę͢ ͡͡tḩ̵e̢̛ ̶̡̢l͘͡ì̸͢t̀͢͡t̷ļ҉e͜͞ w͘ơ̵r̷̛͡m̛͏ ̢̨y̧ou̸̷ ̧͠ą̢r̶̢͏e!̛ ̨Y͘o͟҉u̵ a͟r̵̕e͢ ͏on̵͝l̕͢y҉ ͟d͟el̵̛a͞y͘i͜͜͠n̶̵g̕ ͠t̷̛͢he ̢i҉͘n̢͢e̶v̶i͜͞t͏̴̢a̡b͢l̵e ̷a̶̸t ̀́͘t̸͠h̵̢i҉͟͢s̛͝ ̸p̕͟o̸iņ̛͘t͟!͠ ̛͠T͟h̸e̶͘͠r͞e̡ ̧͢i̴s̢͏ ͘n̵̕o̢͞ e̵̛͘s̕c̕a͘p͏͡e̶ ̡̀f̛̕͢r̸͟o̢m҉ ̨͞yo͏u͠r͡͏̛ ̶͘d҉̵͠ȩ͜͞m̸i̧҉s̢e̕!̨͘͜ ͞A̢H̶̷A҉̷H͘Ą̵҉H́A̡̕H̛À̛H͡͏AH̕͡A҉HAH̶̕͡A̴̢̧H̀̕A̧!"
Through all of his ranting, his eyes squarely directed at Toki, he failed to notice the fluttering lotus petals in the darkness, nor the boy vanishing in front of his blurred eyes. Only when he heard the sounds of gliding near the petals, followed by the snap afterwards, did he notice them... and only when he noticed that they were flying at him en masse, it was too late. He tried to move out of the way to dodge the petals by stepping to the side, but despite his increased speed, his blurred vision failed to detect the petals coming his way in the nick of time, and he howled in pain as they cut into his armour.
And to make matters worse, that was only the first batch! Worse was yet to come as another barrage of sharp petals sliced through his body, and he let out another pained howl from his throat, raising his claws in the air once more, before plunging his claws once more into the ground, as another earthquake shook all around the dome of darkness. Unlike last time, however, not only was the earthquake much more intense than before, and not only the cracks forming underneath Toki's feet threatened to grow larger than last time, but as it split open, an even more intense flare of dark energy whooshed out from above, and if Toki didn't move out of the way in time, he would be outright fried by the flames above... before he risked falling into the earth below once more.
And if he did, the ensuring slam would be faster and harder, and the health drain would be of no favour for him either, potentially going to lose more health than last time, all drained to give to Surtr to gain back his lost energy that boy wasted from him. He had to make it count as long as possible. And nobody, not even this insolent little fool, was going to stop him from reaching his goal.
Surtr is hit by the barrage of petals from Petals of the Blessed Moon. He doesn't hesitate to use Demon's Bloodline afterwards, this time a lot more intense due to the buffs he currently has on him right now.
Demon’s Bloodline: Surtr stabs his 2 blades into the ground. Almost immediately, an earthquake/fissure combo, spanning 500 meters from where he, cracks open in the ground, as a burst of dark energy erupts from the ground as the opponent falls in one of the cracks, threatening to swallow them alive. The ground them closes to crush them and hold them in for a post, as dark energies slowly drain health from the victim, which Surtr uses to heal himself the same amount of damage inflicted trapped inside. Once their time is up, another wave of energy sends them out of the pit, inflicting more damage as they are unceremoniously tossed out. While trapped, the opponent is not restricted from using any attacks. The user may also be able to fight back in order to escape from it. However, this is way easier said than done. (4 post cooldown)

It seemed everything had struck true, much to Surtr's unending rage. In that rage, Toki saw an attack he desperately needed to avoid. Last time he got caught in this, it took him some time to escape from. To make matters worse, this time the attack looked deadlier than ever before. Stay focused. Keep calm. Toki took in a deep breath, leveling out his footing as he raised a palm upwards. In his hand, a beautiful flower bloomed as its petals scattered everywhere, floating through the darkness and persevering through the intense heat.
As the petals flew about, Toki took calculated steps forward and found his footing on whatever stable ground still existed. Finally, as a few petals flew to obscure Surtr's face, Toki swiftly dashed forward in careful leaping strides. In a flash of light he drew his sword and attempted to dash past Surtr while he was distracted. If successful, Toki would sheath his sword as a powerful slash would rip across Surtr's body.
Keep moving. Do not stay still. Before Surtr could counterattack, Toki disappeared in a flurry of petals as those familiar blossoms started to bloom amidst the hellish battlefield. One after another Toki appeared in them and slashed them apart and anything unlucky enough to be nearbly as the otherworldly flowers slashed across the air along with his blade.
He kept warping from flower to flower, doing his best to stay on stable ground as long as possible, though the searing flames lashing out made it difficult. His feet burned and he was starting to feel the pressures of exhaustion from using this form for this long. He barely used Tsusagimon before, so his experience at the Super Mega stage was lacking. Just a few more moments, then he could strike with everything he could.
A flower appeared near Surtr and as Toki slashed around it, he said "I had hoped this malice was influenced by that awful creature you worship. Now I see it is a profound and heartless love of slaughter that exists in you to your very core." Toki stood near Surtr, eyes burning with an intense fury that Toki barely kept under control. "With that said, I now know that you must be destroyed for the people and those you have killed to be free from the fear you represent." Toki seemed ready to finish this. His rage was possibly frightening to behold given how jarring it was compared to his usual calm nature, but his expression was pure anger despite his skillful movement.
-----
Toki keeps on the move by using Moonflower Trance to close the distance between him and Surtr. Activating Tsubame Gaeshi, he follows up with Dance of Scattered Blossoms to keep moving from place to place and attempt to avoid counterattacks. He ends his assault near Surtr with an intense rage within.
Moonflower Trance: A lotus blossom manifests in Kenshimon’s hand in full bloom. A gust of wind scatters the petals as he walks forward. As soon as the petals obscure the opponent’s vision, he dashes past them, sword drawn. When he sheathes his sword, the enemy is slashed by an unseen force. Bypasses armor and defensive abilities. [3 Turn Cooldown]
Tsubame Gaeshi [Passive]: Kenshimon is capable of using two abilities in one turn. 3 turn cooldown.
Dance of Scattered Blossoms: Lotus blossoms in full bloom around an area as Kenshimon teleports to each one. As he does, he unleashes wide sweeping attacks that send the petals flying, striking at all enemies within the blossoms’ range. [4 Turn Cooldown.]
Cooldowns: Moonblossom Tea 3/4, Meditation Cure 2/4, Petals of the Blessed Moon 1/3, Moonflower Trance 0/3, Tsubame Gaeshi 0/3, Dance of Scattered Blossoms 0/4.

Surtr was bloodied, he was bleeding immensely, and it was apparent on his face was that he was desperate. This attack had to hit the fool for his own good, just to tilt the scales back into his favour, no matter how small it may be. Despite his failing vision, the darkness slowly taking over his eyesight, he let out another cackle as the earth split open in front of him, fully expecting Toki to fall into the deep abyss once more.
Except... Toki stayed calm, casually stepping forward like it was nothing as the cracks, and the aforementioned flares, chased him from behind. And, just to rub salt in the wound, a sudden influx of petals assaulting his face had completely covered up what his blurry vision hadn't. For the next few moments, he attempted to clear his eyes of all the petals covering his face, and all he could hear was the intense roar and rumbling of flames.
By the time he cleared his face, his head shot towards Toki with an intense glare, now standing behind him... just as the fool gave the sword a little click, just as a painful slash struck Surtr across his body. He let out a pained howl, and started to collapse to the ground, his claws stopping him falling down face first. Quickly, he pulled himself back up, and charged towards Toki, crossing his claws once more in an 'X'. Unfortunately for him, before the claws could even brush his fur, the petals that quickly took his place scattered everywhere as he slashed at the near empty air. He let out another quiet snarl as the giant blossoms bloomed around him.
Before he could even react, he was assaulted from all ends, letting out a pained, ear splitting howl as sharp petals came at him at all sides, battering him immensely as they cut into him with ease. Before the onslaught was even close to being over, he was starting to collapse once more at his feet, once again his claws planted to the ground to avoid a complete faceplant. As he spat out black, tarry blood onto the floor, he looked up once again to his victim, only to see...
Wait, was this fool really mocking him to his face? Right there? If anything, that absolutely worthless cretin in front of him needed to be destroyed! But he refused, and utterly humiliated him like if he was nothing! And right when he was so close to his goal too! Was he really going to fail? Was that promised new world the Great One promised now forever out of his reach? Was he really going to...
"N͢o!̴ Yo͝u̸ ̸fóòl͝!̷ Y̵o͡u̵ ͠will͞ ͏ne̢v͠er de̡st͡ŕoy m̛e!" He let out a raspy cackle as he got back onto his feet once more, glaring at Toki, "Doǹ'͢t̢ ͘y̴ou̧ se̴e?̕ I ͢a̵m̡ ̸i͘m̀m͟or͢t̡a̶l! I̸n̵̶v̧in͢͟c̛í̴͜b͜l̨͜e̸̡͘!͘!̡͟͝ I̸̡͜͏͡n͘͏d͝͡e͟҉̢͘s̢̛͠҉t͜͠r̕͡͞ú̸͘͞c̡̀҉̷t͏҉͠͝à͝b̸͘͟҉l̵҉̷̡ȩ͜͞!͟͡ Y͜ou wi͏ll͡ nev̧er ̷k̨i͏ll ̛me̡!́ ̸T̡his w̴or͢ld w̢ill̡ ̶b̷u͠r͏n̕ a̶̧͝ǹ̸̢͞d̸̡́ ̶͜y̸o͏ư̴͟ ̴͡ẃ̷̛i̧̨͟͟l̨͜͠l͏̶ ̸̡͝͠͞b͡҉̷ù͏r͢n͏̸͏ ̴̵̧͟͝a̧̕͢l̴̷̕͜ò̸̢ń̸̛͜g̛̀͠s̵͟i̷̴̛͘d̴é͞͠ ̴̨̢̛̛í̷͜͠t̶́͠!̶̷̀͜ ̴̧̀͜Á̡H͏A͏͢҉̴H҉͜A҉͜͠H̡̢Á̴̛̕͝H̷̨́͜͞A̷̵̷̧͠H̷̀҉A̵H̀҉͡҉̛Ą̴̀͜H̵̷͘A̕͠H̴͟A͏̵H̶͟҉Ą̷̸̨̀!̴̨͘" As he laughed once more, another surge of dark energy surrounded the claws, as he pulled them out of the ground, holstering it over his head.
With a loud, anguished cry, he charged directly towards Toki. However, this time if the fool was hit as he swung the claws down, he aimed to tear apart the fool's body by his weaker points, making him feel as much pain as he possibly could. He couldn't let the Great One down! He couldn't let the new world slip out of his grasp! There was a clear sense of desperation he had to deal onto Toki, as once his attack ended, his senses would return to normal, and the dark dome surrounding them would collapse, breaking away to reveal the walls of flame once more.
After that whole onslaught of attacks, Surtr is on his last legs. He opts to use The Flesh is Weak to inflict as much damage as he possibly can onto Toki.
The Flesh Is Weak: Surtr uses his senses up close to find and strike down the opponent in any exposable weak point they may have to inflict painful damage in their exposed areas. This attack bypasses defensive passives and buffs to deal the maximum possible amount of damage onto them. (2 post cooldown)
Durations: Friends From The Darkness (+50% Atk, +20% Spd, -20% Accuracy): 3/3 Realm of Helheim: 5/5
Cooldowns: Demon's Bloodline: 1/4 Call of Ragnarok: 5/5 Shadowstep: 2/4 Abyss Ripper: 2/2 The Flesh is Weak: 0/2 Realm of Helheim: OPT

Toki gazed at the broken Digimon with sympathy despite his complete disdain for him. Lost in madness in the pursuit of immortality or the delusions thereof. This was familiar to what Toki has seen before. All too familiar. He sighed heavily "Your final rest comes for you." He said as he drew his sword. Instead of an instant attack, he held the blade up and to his side. A faint sound, like the cracking of glass echoes within the fiery battlefield. The dome of darkness had faded. It was time to strike. With a deafening shatter, the sky above was broken apart as a void of stars appeared. In this tear in the universe, a full moon shined brightly, defiant in the face of the dark. "Moonblossom Style..." He said softly. As Surtr charged after him, a torrent of flower petals materialized and lashed out towards Surtr, glowing bright as the moon. Should they make contact before he struck Toki, they would carry subdue him and carry him upwards towards the summoned moon. Surtr would be held over the moon and suspended, a bright light enveloped Toki's blade. "...Midnight Illumination." He said as he jumped amazing heights towards Surtr. When Toki swung his blade, everything went silent. The roaring of the flames and the creaking wood of the bridge paled in comparison to the sound of his blade soaring through the air in what seemed like hundreds of slashes in an instant. Toki landed past Surtr and began to sheath his sword. As he did, he spoke. "A suffocating darkness Threatens a calm peace Parted like the morning mist."
Toki turned around and bowed, regardless of the result of the attack before relaxing his stance. ---- Toki intercepts Surtr's attack with his ultimate move. Moonblossom Style – Midnight Illumination: Kenshimon draws his katana and prepares himself. The sky cracks and shatters, revealing the image of a full moon as a storm of lotus blossoms rush an enemy. If the blossoms contact an opponent, they will lift them in front of the moon and bind them there. Regardless of the result, the blade of Kenshimon’s katana shines brightly in the moonlight, energizing it as he leaps towards the opponent and delivers a series of devastating slashes before landing and sheathing his weapon, dealing immense damage to the foe. Damage is slightly mitigated if the enemy is not caught by the blossoms. [Once Per Thread.] Cooldowns: Moonblossom Tea 4/4, Meditation Cure 3/4, Petals of the Blessed Moon 2/3, Moonflower Trance 1/3, Tsubame Gaeshi 1/3, Dance of Scattered Blossoms 1/4.

The next few moments were nothing but a blur for Surtr.
His vision was gradually darkening the longer the fight dragged on, he was pushed to his absolute limits, and his senses were all but numb at this point. To him, nothing mattered anymore. He was humiliated, battered, and sore. And now all he longed for was for this fool to be torn apart. Who cared if that fool's spirits were destroyed in the process? He could always collect more. This was just delaying the inevitable fate of the old world at this point.
So blinded he was in his last, desperate attempt to shred the fool in front of him to pieces, he failed to notice virtually anything at this point. Not the moon, not the stars, not the fact the fool just stood there for a brief moment readying his ultimate attack, and especially not the flower petals flying towards him.
At least, until they made contact.
Just as his claws were about to tear Toki asunder, a sudden rush of wind carried him up to the skies, and near the moon above, accompanied by the flower petals. His body was completely bound, unable to move from place. No matter how many petals he tried to tear away, it seemed more new ones would come in their place, and no matter how much Surtr tried to budge even slightly, a mysterious force prevented him from doing so. He had to escape. He wasn't going to give that fool the satisfaction of defeating him! He was going to escape and...
A final loud howl of pain rocked the entire bridge as Surtr felt the full brunt of Toki's ultimate attack in a matter of moments. Unable to move, block, or even remotely defend himself, Surtr felt every single slash, every single blow, every single cut strike every single part of his body, all in a matter of moments. This pain was completely indescribable, both physically and mentally. He was supposed to be deliver the final blow onto the fool! How could he let this happen at all?
While Toki landed on the ground with grace and ease, Surtr landed on the ground with a dull thud. Digging his claws onto the bridge once more to try and pull himself up, he gave an immense death glare as the fool showed the absolute audacity to make fun of him. He started to pull one of the claws out of the ground, his body shaking immensely...
And immediately, it started to slowly dissolve into mere data, floating away into the skies above as it disappeared. A moment later, as the other claw dissolved, his body slammed right back into the ground. And then his body started to break away, succumbing to the same fate as the claws did.
"N̢̛͜ǫ̶̶̶͘,͜͠ ͟͜͞n̴̸̢̢͜ớ̵̡͡,͝͏͏ ́͘͏҉͢N̡͟҉̸͜O̧͜͝!҉̡́͟" The Tyrvamon cried in sheer panic, scrambling to get his bearings. As the flame walls began to die down around them, spirits of dead Digimon, some similar to those who grabbed onto Toki's feet earlier, floated up into the sky. This time around, their faces had shown a sense of content and serenity. In desperation, a dying Surtr tried to grab onto whatever he could, but as his hands tried to grasp onto whatever he could, it was fruitless. The spirits just bypassed him, like grabbing the wind. Any hope he had left in his eyes was replaced by absolute shock.
"͟No̵! ̛C̶ome̸ b́ack!͏ I̛ ͢c͟omm̷àn̷d ͡you̕!̸" He yelled as more and more souls he collected flew up into the sky, while his body disintegrated further and further, down to his torso, "I̵ ̴̶wás̨͝ ̶͠s̕҉o̷ ̷̛̕cl̀ó͘s̨̛͝e͟͢,͏͏ ̷I̛̛ ͢w͝a̢͟͠s ́͟͠s͏ó ̴̛͞c̸̢ĺ͝o̡se!͘ ͢T̢͢h̴̨̛e̸ ͡ǹ̕͝eẁ͘͞ ̷wo͜ŗ̨l̵d ẁa̶̢̧ş͜ ̧̧͟j̷̢̕u͞ş̛͟t̀͢ ͜w̶i̧͘t̨͜h̴iń͜͠ m̸̡ý ͠͡g҉̨̛r̡a̸̛͘sp! ̴Th̴͜e͠ ́G̛r̢̕͝è̶át̴̵̀ ̢̧O͡n̛e͟ w͏̢̡i҉҉ll̢ n͏̸e̡͟͝v̢e̷͠r̨͘͞ ̵͜b͜e̢͟͏ ̡̨reb̷̛o͞r̸n̕͞! ̢͜H͏̶̀o͏̸w ̧͢c͡o͏͜u̡͘͏l̵̡d̡͞ ̧̧͠t̕ḩ͡i̵͢͡s̶͘͜ ҉ḩa͟p͜͞p̸̛e͘n͝?҉͡ ̕͞Ḩo̢͢w͜ ̵̧͏cơ͢ư͏l̨ḑ̸ ̴yo͡u ͠͝l͝ȩ͜͞t̢ ̧t̸́͘hi̡͠͝ş͡ h̸̢à̶͢p̕͢͢p͟èn,̸͢ ͝T̶̷͟o̧͟k̷͟i̧͜͝ A͘͜͞k͟i͏͞ý͏ama̡͝͝?͜ How ̨̢̀c͏͠ou̷͞ld̴̕͠ ̨yo͢ư̶ ̢ĺet̶ ̴m̨҉͜e̸͏ ̨̛f̕a̧i̴̷l w̸̶҉h̀e̕n̶͠͠ ͠I͜͢ ̢͟͠ẁa̶͢s̷ s̀̕͝o̸ cl͡ò̴͘s͟͝e?͠ H͜͠ò̸͝w̵?͡ ̸͡H̛o̶w̕̕? ̶̡H͟O҉W̧͝?͏"
He then delivered a final, burning death glare at Toki as the last of his body broke away, "Y̴̸ou͢ ͜͝t̷͞h̴͢͢i͏̴n̵k̛ ̧͜t͜h͡͞ì҉s͏͜͏ ͢i͢s͟ ̕͟òv̷͠é͝ŕ?̢́͡ Yơú ́́͢t͢͟͠h̴͢i͏͜n̢k̢҉ ̡y͝o͏͝ư҉ ̴̵͟h̷a̴̶͢v̕͠e ҉́͢wo̷̶̢n̷!̢̧?͜ ̛̕̕Y͢o̡͘u̵̴ ̕f͏ơó̴͢l͏! ͢Y̸͝ơu ́̕a̴͞b̨s̢͘ol͘͟͠ųt̷͞e ̡̀f̨̛͢o̴o͡l̷͟͏!̴̶ ҉̵̸S̕ǫ̀͜me͘͏̕d̢͘a͏y͜,͢͠ ͠I̴͟ ̧͟wí̢l͏̛̀l̷̨͟ ̕b̡e̵ ͡b̛a͟͝͠ck͝!̵͘ ̵̧͠I̸ ̢̡w̢̧͡i̴͞l̷l̛̕ r͘͜e̷t͞͞u̴rņ̨̨ ̀͠t̀o̵ ̧͟mỳ̴̛ ́͢f̕o̵̧rm҉è́͠r̢̢̡ ̧͞g̸͟l̕o҉ry!҉ Al̵͟l̀̕ ͢ýou̸ ͝h͘͜a̵v͜e͝͡ ̵̨ḑ̷̡ò͜͝ņ͜e ̡͠t͏҉̛od̷̶͡àý ̶̡w̧̛a͜͞s̸̛ ̨de̢͡l̴͢͢ąy͘͢ ͢͝t͏́he͜ ̢i͝n͜҉èv̨̢̧i͘͠t̕͜a̕bl͏҉̡e!͘͘ ͝T̡h̨e̡͟ ͞n̨̨̢e̷̶͘w͞ ́ẃ́ơ̴͠r̴̸̴ld ̨̨w̵͘í͘ll̀͘͡ ̵co͟͏̷m̀͠e̶͢ ̷͠to̡ ̷p͏a̵͘͡ss̶͝!́́ ̢̕T͢h̵͡e̛ ̛͞Ģ͢ŕ҉ȩ͟͠a̛t̷͞ ̶̢On̴͘e͜ ͝w͡i̶͡l̷̕͞l̕͘͢ ̧r̨̡͞et͢u̢͜͢r̀͡n͢!҉̴ A͢n̡̧d̕͘ ̵y̵ǫ͢u͢͠͡r̶ ̀w҉o͜r̛͟͜l͜͝d͜ w̕i͜lļ͞ ̧͘r̴̶e̡͝m̴͞ąi͝n͏͝ ̢̛a̴̕s ͜n͡o͜t̕͘h̵͢͞i̷̵n̷͝ģ ͘m̛͢͡o̸͢r̷e̷͝ ͟t̴͡͠h͢aņ͏̴ a ̀͞p̶̨i͝t͜ifu͟l̸̴͟ m̢é̶͜m͞o̡rỳ͡!̨͢ ̵́Ań̀d̛ ͝w͟he̷̕n͜҉͜ ͘I̡ ̶c̵͞ơ͠m͝҉ę̛͝ ̨͝͝b̴͏á̧ck̨̀,͞ ́yo̸̡u͘ ̷͜w̛͟͠il͏l͘͜ ̷̨p̸ay̧ f̵o̵ŕ͟ ̀ỳ̸͟our͝ ̛͝c͘r̷im̴͝e̶̛s̢͜!͜ ̵Y̴͞o̷̢u̕.̨͜.҉.̵ ̵̛h̴̕èar̢͞҉.̵̧̕.̡.͞͡ ̶̷͡m̡͘e̢͞.̛..̧͝"
And just like that, his body burst into data, floating away into the atmosphere. Had nothing been done about it, it would just float away harmlessly, ready to be reborn. At the same time, the flames from the bridge completely died out as well. There was nothing left here to show Surtr completely existed, apart from his data, if it wasn't absorbed completely. The morning sun shone brightly in the sky, showering Toki in a ray of warmth.
Just a few moments later, a whole slew of DigiTamas proceeded to fall from the sky, falling everywhere around Toki and the bridge. Some fell near his feet. Some fell a few paces in front or back of him, some fell onto the soft grasses of the Blossom Isles, and some found themselves stuck on the odd tree or two. Some others fell off those trees like heavy coconuts, hitting the ground with a soft whump.
And if one was paying enough attention, the amount of DigiTamas everywhere were equal to the amount of souls that rose from the ground upon Surtr's demise.

Toki could only look on in sadness at the defeated Surtr. Not once had Toki tried to humiliate his foe. Everything he did. Everything he said during the fight...he wanted to dissuade Surtr from the path he had walked and redeem himself. However, it seemed that it would not happen. As Surtr died and the countless spirits of Digimon freed themselves from their tormentor, Toki no longer had any desire to give this creature a second chance. So much pain. So much sorrow, all for the gleeful enjoyment of it all in a vain attempt to bring about something akin to a god.
The Great One. If Surtr was enough of an example, such a thing was not worth worshiping. Toki looked up and saw the countless Digitama form and fall, a sight made more beautiful in the hopeful light of the morning sun. He knelt down and gently pet one of the Digitama "Don't worry little ones. I'll call for the villages to collect you all soon. You will all be reborn into happy homes and peaceful lives at last." He said as he stood up to see Surtr fall apart before his very eyes.
He walked towards him, his sympathy for him spent. "You're not going anywhere." He said coldly as Surtr's body faded into a cluster of data. He reached out and grabbed the core of the data in his hand, tightening his grip around it and crushing in his grasp to absorb the data into his being "Never again will you torment another. Rest in peace." Would be the final thing he said to Surtr. Tragically, it seemed that death was only answer to prevent future calamity. He did not like this truth and would strive to avoid it as much as possible, but Surtr's existence only caused hatred and pain. He wished he understood where Surtr came from...what made him the way he was.
Nearby, Digimon from the nearby towns have gathered around to witness the aftermath of the battle. Some were frightened that Surtr would have once again taken the life of a traveler, but as the walls remained up for so long, they held onto a glimmer of hope that Surtr would be defeated at last. They stood and watched Toki from afar before collecting the Digitama from the surrounding area. Meanwhile Toki walked to the railing of the bridge to watch the sunrise. He materialized the saucer of tea in his hand once more and drank to soothe his body and mind. A soft smile crossed his features as peace returned to the isles. Even if it was only for a fleeting moment, these few moments were worth the struggle.
