The Human World proved quite an adventure so far for Mandrake seeing as earlier he had to contend with his cover potentially blown by a mugger. Yet he eventually arrived at a place called Miyashita Park. This park was alive with some celebration going on with various entertainers performing. Talk about his element as he walked along a man was mentioning something about an illusionist not being able to make it.
He then approached the distraught and somewhat frustrated man and said "My good man. If you need an illusionist I can fill in."
The man took in Mandrake's appearance and said "At this point I have nothing to lose. I just hope you're good because you're on in five minutes."
On in five minutes meant the man just grabbed him at the last minute making Mandrake shake his head as he thought 'That man isn't very professional. He should have had another person he could have contacted in case his current act couldn't show. Oh well, my audience awaits.'
Mandrake took the stage and knew basic illusions and slight of hand wouldn't likely disrupt his holosuit though he found it funny that the man never asked for his name. Raising his hands he brought forth the image of small white butterflies to begin his show.

Alexis was now walking, because being inside a limo was attracting way too much attention. "Even without being inside that limo you still get too much attention, think Alexis I have seen many humans, but none of them possess your hairstyle, and even if someone did I doubt it's that long, it's like rapunzel's hair." Alexis would stop walking blushing towards him. "Where did you learn that term!" She would cover her own mouth seeing nobody was around, being lucky nobody seen that outburst, as Hackmon just smiled. "I was looking at ways to annoy you, and seen this character shocking, she gets kidnapped all the time so why haven't you played that role yet?" Alexis was ready to kill him, until people started walking around, as Hackmon smiled getting in her face. "Have something to say?" She would just walk forward. The reason Alexis is going to this magic show, because one of her managers said that it'll be good to take a break and see this show, and giving her next guest show appearance is getting tricked by a robber, it's a little like lupin, but the main male lead in that is better looking, and Alexis is getting tricked by him. After Alexis walked, she would see this massive gathering of people sitting down in the middle, a place people wouldn't see our young lady so easily, sitting with Hackmon. "Human magic sounds odd, I do wonder what tricks they can perform." He said like he's about to watch a dog perform a trick. Alexis's In Her Outfit

Considering Mandrake was improvising it was as if the disguised Impmon had them eating out of his hand. He hand since moved from butterflies to another simple but flashier illusion where he had various colored orbs floating around him before they burst into brightly colored fireworks but noticed these were not the illusions he wanted. If he did his real illusions they would disrupt his holosuit. He had the feeling the man who had him come up on stage had something to do with it but that could wait for later. He would play along for now until he figured out how a human could be responsible. Soon his telepathy made him aware of a presence approaching the celebration.
'A digimon is approaching but what does it want?' Mandrake thought as he was able to keep focus with his illusions. Was easy for him since, to him, telepathy was as natural as breathing. That and another presence was with the digimon, a human. 'Possibly the human's partner but I should be ready for anything.' Mandrake knew the two strangers would arrive soon but for now, the show must go on.

Alexis and Hackmon would sit down she liked this show so far, but nothing truly to write home about, each act is something any illusion maker could perform, but she couldn't be mean could she, but Hackmon looked at him and knew, whispering into Alexis's ear. "Hey, that person is a digimon." She would a be a little shock, but truly his act shouldn't be this weak with powers like digimon have, Hackmon would try and make it more noticeable that he's also one, by looking right at the disguise Impmon, giving he already knew there's one out watching Hackmon looked right towards him pointing at himself, showing he didn't care if he'll find out or not.
Wondering what type of fun could this one give him, if any, Alexis didn't care that much hoping not to be called on stage last time this happened, she was kidnapped, and if it took place again, in this world more people would be watching so more embarrassing and explaining to do.

As Mandrake wrapped things up, even though the images weren't his own doing, he bowed politely and made his way behind the stage. This performance was an insult for an illusionist such as himself and as he made his way he got a good look at why. 'Hmm. The stage itself has reflective properties and, now that I'm getting a better look, the so called illusions are nothing more than camera trickery and reflection of the light.' He hardly enjoyed being played as a patsy but then again, who did? Looking out from behind the stage he saw a man that looked at him as if he saw through his disguise that was with a human girl. Then again it was no surprise to Mandrake since some digimon had other ways other than the telepathy he used to detect each other. 'Perhaps since my nature as a digimon is obvious to that disguised digimon there, I should try greeting him.'
Coming out from behind the stage, he approached Alexis and Hackmon before he looked at Hackmon and said "Looks like you have managed to see through my disguise. Not surprising considering your true nature as a digimon yourself." Since Impmon's didn't tend to have any extraordinary senses, Mandrake wondered how this digimon would act.

Hackmon would see him come out and smile, the crowd wondering what he was up to, many just thinking Alexis was cute, trying to think where have they seenthis girl before, not thinking a star would come to this show. "Glad you have at least that much ability, but please tell me, is this all you have? So far this show is a little boring, try an perform a act that will make me shocked so I can be amazed." Alexis would just smile worrying talking towards the magician. "Sorry about him, your show is good, I hope we get to see more tricks." Alexis said with a kind smile, Hackmon would just sit down letting out a soft laugh. "So far it's a joke, and Alexis stop being so kind, this digimon could be more tricky then his magic, if he's not where fine." Hackmon proud of himself for that one waiting to see what the digimon would say back.

"I assure you if these tricks were my doing I would agree with you. If I performed at my full capacity I would of disrupted my holosuit." He glanced around for the man who asked him to perform noticing the people in the crowd glancing at Alexis. Turning back towards the disguised Hackmon he said "I'm no threat to your tamer or any humans for that matter. I'm just little more than a tourist by human standards. As for why this show is so terrible it is because it was little more than reflections of light and camera trickery by the man who insisted I fill in for an illusionist that couldn't make it. Now I feel foolish that the man played me for a patsy."
Mandrake wondered where that man went all he knew was that he was around somewhere. Suddenly he felt the presence of another digimon other than Alexis' partner. "Wait! I sense another digimon. Strange thing is I couldn't feel this one's presence before." He knew if he tapped into anymore of his telepathic abilities his holosuit would shut down. Was it possible this digimon was capable of disrupting his ability to sense other minds? If that was the case why wasn't it doing so now?

"You say a lot of excuses don't you? This did that, I can't because, it's truly hopeless for someone to improve if they blame small things, show me a trick that will make me say wow, or something." But still no trick as Hackmon looked bored, even the new comment about a digimon being here didn't phase him. "So? Why should that bother me, my tamer does get kidnapped a lot, but nobody is stupid enough to do this with so many humans around so I have nothing to worry about at best it could prove to show me some type of entertainment unlike you." Alexis would blush looking at him, did he have to add her into that reasoning it was good enough without putting that kidnap comment inside, but she couldn't do anything about it, even thinking about this could prove to be deadly.
"Maybe it's just here for the show?" Alexis said softly smiling in the same manner. "Just because another digimon shows up, doesn't mean it's here to harm us." Alexis said as Hackmon said, something that made her blush again. "And that's why you get kidnapped Princess." Stupid Hackmon, is what she thought.

"What part of if I used my illusions I would disrupt my holosuit is not understood to you? I'm trying to blend in among humans. If you haven't noticed, many digimon tend to stick out like sore thumbs without holosuits." Mandrake said while resisting the urge to roll his eyes. "What do you purpose I do, deactivate my holosuit and walk around the crowd in broad daylight?"
After hearing that the human tended to get kidnapped, Mandrake asked with a smirk "You are telling me to show you a trick that wowed you but if you can't keep your tamer safe, who are you to judge me?"
"I'm not sure why this digimon is here but it's telepathic signature appearing out of thin air concerns me." he said as he put a hand to his forhead and started walking back to the direction behind the stage. "The telepathic signature is coming from backstage. I'm certain of it."

"Like I said, people are here so my tamer is safe, and if you keep annoying me I'll crush this show and make a new one to me ending you understood?" He was annoyed now, but this digimon could be a pain the one he's talking about, that is hiding backstage, Hackmon sighing. "Fine, Alexis stay here." She would look at her digimon worried. "but..." But Hackmon would place both hands near his mouth and shout. "Wow, it's Alexis the famous, TV show star & model, the girl of light everyone calls a angel!" Alexis had a blank look as one person got up after the next, leaving Alexis with no escape. "It is her!" Many of them said, commenting on her long hair, her beauty, and wishing for an autograph, she would smile uncomfortably, signing and answering questions. "That should keep her safe can't get hurt with that many humans around, and she can't come after me, well then lets go." He said asking Mandrake to lead the way, leaving Alexis to deal with many of her fans. "This also fixes the fact you kept your show unattended while you talked with us, now at least nobody will care." He said not thinking of him to be much of a performer.

"You certainly have a strange way of keeping your tamer safe. One would think being in such a crowd would only put her in more trouble by possibly endangering her." Mandrake said as he glanced back at Alexis once before heading backstage with Hackmon. "As for the show, it's hardly mine. I was asked to fill in for an illusionist that couldn't make it. If this show were mine the illusions would be more imaginative that's for sure."
As soon as they were out of sight of the crowd, Mandrake deactivated his holosuit and revealed his true appearance as an Impmon with sapphire blue eyes. He then came to a stop and placed one finger on each temple before closing his eyes. He then began to reach out with his telepathic senses searching for the unknown digimon. It was faint as if the digimon was able to hide itself. However, while Mandrake was in his true form he was able to tap into all of his abilities without disrupting his holosuit. Opening his eyes, he said "He's not far. I can sense him."
Though he was unsure if Hackmon would follow, Mandrake lowered his arms and began walking in the direction that his telepathy guided him in. Soon he spotted the man who asked for him to fill in. The man, however, was not alarmed by Mandrake's appearance and said "It would seem my scheme is up. Who would suspect I would be found out by a telepath of such surprising talent. I guess the boss was right to have spies tail you out of range of your telepathic abilities."
"What do you mean? Who are you and who is your boss?" Mandrake said with an incredulous look on his face.
"I have no idea why the boss would have spies follow you but I have a feeling his plans will be revealed when he wishes them. As for who I am, I'll be glad to reveal myself." The man said as he deactivated his holosuit and a Keramon wearing a curious headband appeared. "Your telepathic abilities must be extraordinary if you could sense me even with this headband. The boss said it would block my mental signature." Keramon said as he grinned nastily in Mandrake's direction.

"Foolish, with that many having eye's on Alexis even if someone came at my little tamer now, they wouldn't get far would they." He said mocking him. "Anyway, don't we have to deal with this stupid digimon your so scared of?" Hackmon wasn't nice like he's with Alexis, even when talking towards the other digimon. "I told you I don't care about you making excuses, you see my tamer she could make a show off anything no mattering the stage or time." He wouldn't say that in front of Alexis, knowing that this world itself is her stage.
Hackmon would soon follow going into his true form showing dark purple eye's and feathers all over his body. "Good I'll destroy him and end this boring party." Wondering where he was also wishing to know if he's strong or not. Hackmon would look annoyed after even just hearing the digimon.
"What move is this? The kiss up one, I was hoping for some type of enjoyment today, but so far this is disappointing." Hackmon looked blank. "Wait, what? You don't know didn't you just say, Oh, he has amazing telepathy showing with much talent maybe he wants you to recruit him? Someone who can read minds is good to have for that, also to see who is loyal or isn't, many reasons you just not thinking." He said mocking this new digimon now.
Hackmon would look at Keramon playing mind games now. "Maybe he set you up?" He wouldn't stop there. "Think about it you have two enemies, and one who can turn ultimate, when you're nothing more than a rookie, also your boss gives you an item said to be useful, but was useless, unless he's a crap boss or your been set up." He waited to see if that got into this digimon mindset.

Mandrake rolled his eyes at Hackmon as the Keramon backed up uncertainly. Keramon then looked at Hackmon and said "Wait you can become an ultimate form? The boss never said anything about dealing with ultimates. I was only meant to be dealing with this Impmon."
"Rude little beast aren't you? I do have a name and it is Mandrake." Mandrake said as he stepped toward the Keramon. "Now what does your boss what with me?"
"I don't know. Only thing I know for sure is he said you one day may become a threat to his plans." the Keramon whimpered before putting on a false look of confidence before he said "Though I don't see how a puny little Impmon with strong telepathic powers is a potential threat."
"Maybe it's because I'm more than a mere telepath, Keramon." Mandrake said as he focused on the headband Keramon wore and sent it flying off his head at high speed landing a few feet away.
"T-Telekinesis too? What kind of Impmon are you? I've never heard of Impmons that had either." The look of false confidence was gone and he was moving back from Hackmon and Mandrake.
"I admit neither have I. Maybe those powers were inherited from my parents or even left over from a previous life. Other than my powers I'm just a humble traveling magician so I have no idea why your boss feels threatened by me." Mandrake replied as he watched the Keramon as it was moving back and readied himself for trouble. Though he doubted Keramon would try to fight them directly, it didn't hurt to keep an eye out for any tricks.

"See a unless boss, or a smart one to send someone stupid to do his work." Hackmon said making some great points. Wait. "That's your name as a Digimon?" He would just wave that one away for now. Hackmon would smile, putting his back against the wall. "If you're scared to attack because it's two of us, please don't, I'm not going to take any action against you, I'll just watch and enjoy the show I paid for, unlike the last one I seen which bored me." He said looking at Mandrake. "If you don't attack my tamer I have no reason to react do I? Also, don't ask who is your tamer, I'm not going to tell you that." He said waiting, giving no hints.
"Do I need to count down or something before you start? Three, two, one, fight!" Hackmon was someone who could keep his word or not, but it was no way of telling if he's lying, maybe he learned this from Alexis? It's hard to tell, as he waited to see if it would happen or not.

"Are you always this charming or did I just catch you on a bad day?" Mandrake asked Hackmon with a note of sarcasm is his voice.
Since it seemed Hackmon was going to do nothing the Keramon stopped being nervous, apparently being around and Impmon with telepathy and telekinesis no longer bothered him as he cackled "Then let's see what my boss finds interesting about you, Mandrake."
Though brute force tactics weren't Mandrake's way of doing things it seemed Keramon had no such thoughts. No concept of patience or caution either as the digimon charged Mandrake while swinging his arms. "Hypnotic Illusion!" Mandrake said as he waved his clawed hands dramatically as the illusion of a weasel demon with white fur and a blood red sickle tail flew at Keramon causing the Keramon to shriek in fear and surprise as he covered his eyes and swiped at it causing the illusion to fade on contact though the whimpering Keramon had yet to notice.
