-All right! I think that takes care of the last few things! -said Tatsuya with a slight smile on his face while wiping the sweat out of his face. It took him ages, but finally, the brown-haired teen had managed to unpack everything he had brought to Japan. Sighing, he slowly closed the doors of the closet, then laid on his new bed. The house was just as he remembered it, even though he had been there just once, when he was seven. Eleven years after, he had finally returned.
He still had all of his summer vacation, which would mean he had more than enough time to get to know people in town. Staring to the ceiling, he started thinking about what he should do after that moment, because as usual, he had just done things focusing on the present time, so now, he had no idea what he could use his time for. It did not last long before he realized there was one thing that had to be taken care of immediately. -Oh, shit! The karate dojo! I still haven't entered one! -gasped the teenager.
In a hurry, he let himself drop onto the chair next to the computer, but he hadn't calibrated his movements right due to the spur of the moment, and fell to the ground, butt first. -Ouch...That hurts... Standing up, he finally managed to sit down and turned the computer on. In a few minutes, he had browsed through the web, however, he could not find what he wanted: all dojos were closed for vacation until further notice.
-Amazing. Simply amazing... I can't believe my luck -Tatsuya let out a sigh, and was about to shut down the computer, when suddenly, he caught a glimpse of something behind the computer. A smile drew on his face as he reached for it: it was something he had played when he was very little, a simple computer game. Even though lots of games were better, nostalgia invaded his mind.
-"Let's see if I still like it that much..." -thought the blue-eyed male, blowing the dust away of the box and opening it. He took the CD inside and tried running it on the computer. As the disc started being analysed by the reading unit, a message pop on the screen.
"Welcome back, Tatsuya" was the message written on the screen. Even though he found it strange, the boy clicked, thinking that he had input his name in the old save file, and a new window appeared. "Data memory corrupt. Would you like to start a new adventure?" asked the game. Without thinking twice, he clicked impatiently. He just wanted to play for a while, then go for a walk.
Suddenly the window disappeared, and the screen started glowing blue. Thinking it would be the typical "blue screen error", the boy cursed slightly, but then, a beam of light came out of the screen. As he covered himself, the light went straight to his hands. It was hot and burned slightly, but right now, Tatsuya could not believe what was happening. When the gleam finished, the teen looked at his hands. There was a strange device, coloured in black, grey and white, that featured a screen and a few buttons below it.
As he was gasping, another surprise came in, when another light came out of the monitor and landed on his bed, safely. -"What...the...fuck...?" -was the only thoughts in his head. He was completely sure that no game made random things pop out of your computer screen! As the other light also faded, something similar to an egg had appeared in his bed. It was light grey, almost white, with series of red stripes. On top of that, it was too large to be an animal egg.
-"Just when I thought things could not get rarer... Just what is going on here?" -he muttered to himself. Definately, there was something strange going on there. Maybe he should ask someone nearby, as it was not that late. he was sure someone would still be in the streets.
Taking the egg and the strange device with himself, he left home with a puzzled look on his face. After a brief walking, he sat on a bench, as nobody had still come to sight. -"You can't be serious... its just 10 PM..." -thought Tatsuya, tired.
What was going on, he did not know, but he did know however that he needed answers, although he wasn't sure he would be able to get what he wanted. He decided that he would return home if he found no people at all. Afterwards, he would try to figure out the situation by himself. Looking at the device's screen, an image of the same egg popped, and started making subtle noises. -"Just... what is this?"

Running down around himself, the digimon could see the large distance between him and the floor. "I wander what dying feels like? I mean if it didn`t feel good, then certainly my other parts wouldn`t enjoy this kind of movement so much." The digimon said to himself He kept running and jumping from building to building. He wanted to hone his skills now, while his wielder rested. He wished he could do something more, like doing some cash in a nice, clean murder, but that would have caused the his wielder`s mind to awaken and him to loose control forever. He needed to feel and appreciate this moments of freedom while he could. But he was always ready to backstab. Because he was Steamdramon and he would forever hunt in the night. Maybe one day his truer forms would reveal themselves, take back the control. Suddenly he spotted a blue light in the same appartment his wielder lived in. He decided to see what it was under cover. So, he jumped back into the open window he left to his wielder`s room, closed it and opened the door. Then he knocked at the door. He wished himself good luck and went back to his human form, leaving it sleeping on the floor next to the door of the room he saw the blue light coming from.

Having found no luck whatsoever, Tatsuya sighed. -Oh, man... I can't believe no one is out. He then looked at his mobile phone. It was about time to go home, as he hadn't found the slightest glimpse of human activity in the streets, apart for a few cars that were possibly adults returning from work to the warmth of their homes.
Getting up, he undid his steps, which were leading him to his small place once again. But this time, there was something different than before. At first, he thought it was due to the time, but then he found out someone lying next to his own door; well, not his own, but the apartment's entrance. Not hesitating, he ran as fast as he could while taking care of the strange egg.
Reaching the side of the person, he took a good look at the man, which wasn't a man however, but a teenager between 14 or 16 years old! That was strange, for sure. Observating his clothes in a fraction of a second, it was clear that he cared little about his personal image. That, or he did not have other clothes. Nonetheless, it was not the time to think about that. He crouched next to the human boy, ready to call the emergency phone if necessary.
-Hey! Wake up! Are you okay? -Tatsuya said in a loud voice, trying to provoke a reaction in the teenager. He wasn't completely sure about what to do in those kinds of situations, and it would likely pose a problem for him the fact that he had found it. As he was already 18, police would ask him a lot of questions, and even though he knew nothing, things could go rough. Shaking his head, he removed those thoughts, and focused on attempting to get the wanderer teen's conscious back again.
Why did such a strange boy appear right after those events with the egg and the device? He did not bother to ask himself that question at that time, but it was most likely that they were somehow connected. Only time would tell.

Charles woke up in pain. Did he just bash his head against something? No, he couldn`t he was lying on his bed, deeply as... He saw who woke him. Another boy, who seemed to be around his age, (maybea bit older) seemed desperate to wake him up. He saw the Egg and the device he was holding, and he knew the answer to his questions. "Oh no, he did it again didn`t he?" Charles complained, shaking his head and rolling his eyes. "Sorry about that pal." Steamdramon said inside his head. "Oh, shut up." Charles commanded "As you wish." "Humpf. Now, I just get up and, if you allow me, I`m sure you have a billion questions right now. Just let me, give me some ice for my head and a sofa I can sit on. Then I will answer your questions about that egg and the device the best I can. Mine is a bit different, but I met a few like you. Mostly because of him." Not waiting for an answer, Charles went in and sat in a couch. It felt good to sit down, he always woke up in pain when Steamdramon took over.

Tatsuya was relieved to see that the boy woke up after all. Now, he would just have to see if he was okay, but before even asking, the previously fainted teen had started the conversation on his own. "Humpf. Now, I just get up and, if you allow me, I`m sure you have a billion questions right now. Just let me, give me some ice for my head and a sofa I can sit on. Then I will answer your questions about that egg and the device the best I can. Mine is a bit different, but I met a few like you. Mostly because of him." the teenager said, although Tatsuya had absolutely no idea of who he meant by "him". In any case, he was correct in one thing: he had an awful lot of questions for him, specially since he mentioned the egg and the device.
-Sure. Let's go to my place, it's this door. We'll have to walk through a staircase, but it's not too long -Tatsuya said, with a slight smile. Now facing the door, the boy slipped the key into the keyhole and turned it a few times, effectively opening the door. He then continued his way for 15 seconds in the building until they got to his gate. The name "Tatsuya Kazan" could be read, written both in English and Japanese letters, confirming that it was his home.
Repeating the operation with the small door, he quickly opened it, and invited his "guest" to come in and sit down in the couch located in the living room, opposite to the TV. -Sit down if you want to. Although I'm sure you don't want to be on your foot, you look like you've got a hangover -the Kazan said, while going to the kitchen for some ice. He tried to make it quick, for he was not sure if he could trust the guy. Even though Tatsuya was a very open person, he was not the type to bring a complete stranger into his house right after meeting him.
After handing the ice to the teenager, Tatsuya sat on a sofa next to the couch. -Well, I've done my end of the bargain. Now it's your turn. Who are you? Why were you in front of the apartment's... Look, nevermind, I can bypass the details. What is this egg and this thing? And why did they pop out of my computer screen? -Tatsuya asked, looking at his new items. The digivice still had the egg image on the screen, moving as well. The egg, on the other hand, was warm to physical contact. His gaze then derived from the eggshell to the eyes of his new acquaintance, awaiting his answers, while letting a yawn escape from his mouth. He was slightly tired: unpacking everything had been an exhausting effort.

Charles bashed the ice against his head. Not only he had this huge headache, but also because he was really tired: Steamdramon rarely let him sleep with all his "night walks". He took a deep breath a began to forfill his promisse: "Where should I even begin? My name is Charles Ashmore, and I am a spirit wielder. I will explain what that is in a moment. Anyways, this whole thing is about "digimon" creatures made out of computer data. At any moment now one should be hatching from that egg. And since you have what is called a "digivice", a device that allows you to channel emotion to empower your digimon, and also symbolises the bond you have with it. Besides that, it marks you as a Tamer. There are different kinds of relation towards digimon: tamers like you, people who created a bond with, raise and fight alongside a single digimon or more rarely two twin digimon; xros generals people who have na "army" of digimon, up to seven I heard, and then can combine them to form stronger digimon using a so called fusion loader and finnaly Spirit wielders, like me. People who use the spirit of ancient digimon and become that digimon. It`s like being haunted, but knowing you and the ghost are the same. I had my share of trouble with him, far more than you will ever have with your digimon, I hope, thought you must remembre: you are ment to raise that digimon. And before you tell "I didn`t ask for this", take a minute to consider that this doesn`t like, happen everyday and so it can`t be just random. Even I share some traits with Steamdramon and he is a cold-blooded murderer. Still, for some reason he finds it amuzing to possess me in my sleep and get me to some new tamer, xros general or spirit wielder, and have me explain the whole thing. In fact, he only does it to spy on people. Anyways, I hope I made things a little clearer. But in short: that egg contains a digimon and you will be it`s tamer, wether you want it or not. You`ll learn to enjoy it with time." Charles explained, taking another deep breath afterwards. He opened a smile: it felt good to know he just annoyed Steamdramon by guessing his plan. "Very funny" Steamdramon commented in his mind.

Just as Tatsuya finished talking, asking for questions, the man sitting on his couch seemed to have decided to give him the answers he had been seeking since the egg popped out of his computer screen. Although he was not sure where would those answers lead him, the brown-haired Kazan was a curious one, and all that mystery atmosphere drove him nuts. He wanted to know what was going on. That's why he tried to focus on everything the young teen would tell him.
"Where should I even begin? My name is Charles Ashmore, and I am a spirit wielder. I will explain what that is in a moment. Anyways, this whole thing is about "digimon" creatures made out of computer data. At any moment now one should be hatching from that egg. And since you have what is called a "digivice", a device that allows you to channel emotion to empower your digimon, and also symbolises the bond you have with it. Besides that, it marks you as a Tamer." -he had said.
-A... Tamer? What do you mean by that? -Tatsuya asked. The reply he recieved was a small overview on all the types of associations that the so called "Digimon" formed with humans. First, a Digimon, or Twin Digimon, with a human Tamer, who would need to raise his Digital Monster and fight along them. That was the option he was interested in, for fate had decided that he would be one of them. Then they had Xros Generals, who could have an army of Digimon, and finally, the Spirit Wielders.
-So one gets an army of Digimon, other get to be their own Digimon, and I have to raise mine? Seems legit... -he sighed. -But anyway, do you have an idea why was I chosen for this? -the young adult asked again. The answer he was given was pretty simple: although he did not know, it was not a random thing that had just happened to Tatsuya. It was an unavoidable responsability since the moment he had gotten his egg, although Charles, as his guest had introduced himself, assured him that he would learn to enjoy it with time.
-I see... So, no matter what, I should keep this egg, hatch it, and raise it. Well, it could be fun, -he smiled -this house needs someone or something for me to be able to call it home -Tatsuya looked at his egg, understanding why it was so warm at touch. There was a new life nurturing inside, awaiting to be born, and he was going to oversee through the entire process... Would that make him a dad? For now, he rather say the creature would be a good friend of his.
-By the way, I still haven't introduced myself. My name is Tatsuya, although you have probably guessed that already since my name is written in a plate next to the door. I sure hope we can get along, even with that possessing and murdering hobby of your... partner? -he then started to recall what he had just been told. -Wait, wait, I've got it... you are a Spirit Wielder, so you become that guy named... Steamdramon, right? Man that sounds awesome! Turning into something completely different, but still being yourself... to be honest, it sounds quite impossible to me, but I think that after recieving an egg from my monitor, I am going to start to believe in the impossible.
Directing his gaze once again to the egg resting on his hands, he could only wonder what the "Digimon" would look like once it was born. However, he did not know how a Digimon would look like! Would it be something completely different from Earth's animals? Or maybe similar?
-Hey! Just two more question. How do Digimons look like? And also, do you know what will come out of this egg thing? -the eighteen year old asked with a slightly excited smile on his face. Everything sounded so crazy, yet it would be a lot of fun for sure.

"Believe me, it is not super cool to become Steamdramon. He has power and decent skills, I give him that, but he is also a cold blooded-murderer." Charles replied to his constantly interrupting host, feeling a tip of anger and sorrow in his heart "Not to long ago, I was lost in the digital world, the place where digimon come from and I was about to let myself starve to death when I made a friend. The only one who dared to make friends in that portion of the world. The "dark area" is what they cal it, and you have to see it to truly know the horrors of that place. But I managed to find one digimon who was willing to help me, be my friend. Later that day I found Steamdramon`s spirit. And Steamdramon took over me and killed my friend before my very eyes, stating he was "too nice"." Charles felt a tear run down his face. "Since then I struggled to contain Steamdramon and I finnaly made some progress when we made a deal: my control for finding the second piece of him: Replimon. I used that guy once: none of them cares who they kill, as long as it seems like the victim was on thei way." He layed back in the couch and took a deep breath. Still, it was like the other guy didn`t hear him: he asked about the aspect of digimon. Charles look at him with a serious look in his face. Then he took another breath and struggled to recall if he had ever seen an Egg with the same pattern of the one the other guy was holding. "Sorry, I have no clue what will hatch. All I know is that it is a digimon, but digimon come in all shapes and sizes. And I mean ALL shapes and sizes." Charles finnaly replied

Tatsuya listened to Charles's story. He was shocked when his guest told him that he had been in the Digital World, which was apparently the place all Digimon lived. There, he had met someone who helped him get Steamdramon's spirit, only to be killed when the latter took over Charles, just because the deceased friend was "too nice". Were all digimon like that? Cold blooded murderers? Or just that one?
-Wow... That's a heck of a story, man. I'm sorry for your loss. -he said, looking to the ground. Thankfully, they moved onto a different topic when Charles told Tatsuya that he did not know what would came out of his egg, for there were Digimon of all forms and sizes, so it was a completely random thing. So there was no possible way to get to know his new partner before it was born. Looking again at the device, the screen still showed the egg, but with the new information he was given, the Kazan was able to guess that it showed the egg's develpoment. Thus, once it hatched, it might be possible for him to take a deep look into the device functions and features.
For now, all he was left with was the question of his partner's identity, which he hoped it would be revealed soon. Now, not so clueless on his situation, he started speaking again. -Well then, if I have to do it, then I better do it right! -he said, smiling- -I promise I'll do my best to raise this little guy so it can become stronger. I'm still not sure why, but if I am a Tamer, I guess it's my obligation to do so.
He then stood, and moved next to Charles. -Thank you for telling me all this. At least I won't freak out when the egg hatches. However, I'm sure you'll have better things to do than just answering my questions, and it's getting late. Do you live near here? And do your parents know where you are?

"Yeah that`s the spirit! But I would keep my eye on what eats. When it comes to eating they`re like puppies, they eat everything all the time. The difference is they actually can eat stuff like your sofá and your TV." Charles warned in response to the new tamer`s owe of dedication. "Don`t worry about thanking me. Steamdramon pulled me here so I would answer your questions and in turn he would get to spy on you. He says his other parts have a great interest in new digimon, God knows why. I can only assure you one thing: it`s not a good reason. My parents? They have no clue where I am, they think I`m missing. don`t like the idea of having to hide from them after all they did for me, but I can`t let Steamdramon anywhere near them. And I think you know why... Anyway, maybe I should be... wait what was that sound?" Charles turned and looked around the house. He saw nothing, but he could swear he just heard something. He heard the sound again. His senses were peaking, his heart racing. For all he knew it could be just the wind, but he couldn`t risk it. He then stared at his host, making sure he was ok. No risks could be taken. When it came to digimon anything could happen.

So now he didn't only have to care for his Digimon, but he also had to check continuously so it wouldn't eat his TV or sofa given the case? Tatsuya sighed slightly: the contras of keeping the egg flowed in his head, but he let go of those thoughs shaking his head a little bit. His guest then told him that his parents thought were missing, but he couldn't get near them or he might end up involving them in all that Digimon mess, or worse, they might got killed by his other self, Steamdramon. -Damn... that sucks. I really hope you can get to control your Spirit, Charles -Tatsuya said in a low voice. However, as the other boy still talked, they both heard a noise around the house. The younger teenager was the one to react first. "Wait... what was that sound?" asked Charles, suddenly getting up, seemengly nervous. The Kazan's eyes narrowed. Looking around himself, he closed his eyes: the epicenter of the sudden perturbance was near his room. It did not sound like wind, and he was completely sure that he had closed the windows before leaving. He grabbed the egg and the Digivice with his left hand, holding both close to his body. He flexed the rest of his body, as he approached towards the door, signaling Charles to come alongside him. -"It's coming from my room. Quick! If we are fast enough, we might catch whatever is making that noise. -he muttered loud enough for his acquaintance to hear. In a quick movement, he entered his room. What he found surprised him. The window was open. It was completely open, the curtains set aside as in a hurry. At first sight it would seem like it was the wind... But his computer screen was functioning: a few console windows had been opened. -What...? I shut down the computer before leaving. I always do. Which means... somebody entered while I was away? -the Kazan said to himself. Sitting in the chair, he took a look. After a huge load of commands, there was something written in the third window. "D-Terminal: process?" With two possible answers, "Yes" or "No". Without thinking what he did, his fingers slowly typed the first option. Finally, he pressed enter. A few seconds later, his computer screen glowed blue once again, and another flash of light, this time directed to the table, came out in a flash. When the sudden light burst faded, there was a strange machine, closed and turned off. As he opened it, the screen lit, showing five different options: "Text message, Map, Navigator, Contact List" and finally, an unknown one " " Just great, another thing for his "To understand" list. If he hadn't got enough with his Digivice, now something new, apparently called D-Terminal, had made his appearence. -Oh, god, why me... Charles, do you have an idea what could this thing possibly be? I think it's called D-Terminal, or something...

(OOC: My idea was actually that it was the sound of the Egg, but moving on...)
It was nice to have someone who could understand his situation. Not that Tatsuya would experience it, at least not now, but at least he had a response that was minimal pleasant even it was just "That sucks!". Then they headed together into Tatsuya`s room. There was a window open, which was suspicious but what was on the computer screen turned Charles`s mind around. There was a message asking if Tatsuya wanted a D-Terminal. How amuzing. Perhaps Steamdramon knew about this. "Do you know something about this?" Charles asked, conscious he was basically talking to himself. "There are beings capable of creating digivices and D-Terminals for new tamers. This is the first time I witness it, however." Steamdramon replied Knowing Replimon wouldn`t be of much use, Charles didn`t bother to ask. And then the D-Terminal appeared, as expected. "Yep, that`s a D-Terminal. A device that conffers additional information about a certain digimon. Pray you don`t have to use it, thought: If a digimon doesn`t tell you what you need to know, either it is trying to kill you or fool you." "You seem to have become a much faster learner" Steamdramon commented "Oh, shut up!" Charles replied

((OOC: Sorry, I didn't know... Well, I guess I can make it hatch now.))
So, apparently, the D-Terminal resembled a computer in many ways, although much smaller and stylized. As Charles told him it could analyze Digimon, Tatsuya gave it another look. It would be worth storing the device: it might come in handy. Since it had a nifty map function with a navigator, which he believed would be the equivalent to a human GPS, Tatsuya closed the new item, and put it inside his pocket.
In a calm pace, he stood up from his chair, shut down the computer for the second time in the day, then moved to the window. He closed it by pulling the handle, and then he also closed the curtains.-Well, I suppose that takes care of our unexpected guest, right? It seems he left me a little present... -Tatsuya, tired, dropped on his bed, next to the egg.
Something then started to feel funny next to his right hand. Asking himself what could it be, he tilted his head enough to see the Digivice vibrating slightly. In a tired manner, he let his hand drop on the machine, and grabbed it with sloth. Afterwards, he pulled it over his face, so he could see what was going on for the fourth time in the hour. Before he could see, the thing slipped off his hand, landing on his face.
-Oh, for god's sake... -he muttered, grabbing it again. This time, however, he would understand what was going on. The digivice had been previously shown an image of an egg. However, at that moment, the egg was full of cracks, and it was moving much faster in the screen. -What the... -he did not have time to continue, though, for the egg started moving, for real.
-Charles, look! -he exclaimed, getting up and putting the egg on the center of the bed. Each second, it started moving more and more, until a tiny crack appeared on its surface. Tatsuya gave the digivice a look. -"Digiegg phase, terminated." That's what it says! -the Kazan looked at the egg once again. More and more cracks appeared, until the egg was enveloped in a flash of blinding, pure white light enveloped the Digiegg and spreaded across the room, effectively blinding Tatsuya. The digivice started vibrating wildly, as if it was going to break.
Well, the wait was not that long. He would finally meet his partner, the one that would be at his side, the one he would have to raise. What would it be like? The answer to that question would be revealed in a matter of seconds...
It wasn't long before the light faded. As he could open his eyes again, Tatsuya found a creature, "standing" (as it had no feet or legs) where the egg had been until that moment. The Digimon was a cute ball of light purple and white fur, with yellow eyes and a big mouth. Its eyes were closed, as if it was sleeping.
Tatsuya moved a hand, trying to reach it. -Hey there, buddy... What is your... Ouch!!! -without any warning, the Digimon had launched itself and bit his arm! It was not stronger than a small kid's bite, so there was no danger, but it certainly hurt. As Tatsuya managed to get it off his arm with his left hand, the creature jumped onto the bed again, with an angered look on his face.
-Get away fwom me! Don't you dawe appwoaching! -the Digimon spoke, just as an infant. Tatsuya took a better look: its teeth were not completely developed, hence why it spoke like that. However, what was wrong with him? That did not fit his definition of a Digimon partner. Not at all.

Not too long after Tatsuya received his D-Terminal, the Egg hatched. A purple fresh digimon was now in the place of the egg. "Why does this digimon look a bit familiar?" Charles asked himself. Then the digimon bit his partner defensively and a picture of a Dorumon came to Charles`s head. "Oh that`s why. Don`t worry Tatsuya he`ll evolve soon." "Don`t you think it could use a bit of incentive?" Steamdramon asked in his head "Don`t you even think about it Steamdramon!" Charles replied. Then he approached the small digimon. "Hey pal. That`s your tamer over there. You know, the guy who will be feeding you and taking care of you from now on. But I don`t think it will be out of his own body! Don`t take my word for it, go to him! I assure you it`s much better than having Steamdramon inside your head." "Good, now the first words that kid will remembre will be you insulting me." "Well you deserve no better Steamdramon." "What if I poped out, and scared the kid into nightmares, hugh?" "We both know you can`t do that." "Shall we put it to the test then?" To be honest Charles wasn`t really sure about it, he had no clue if he really could control Steamdramon or if he had just been fooling him all this time. He tried to wash off the doubts before Steamdramon could realise about them, but it was too late. Charles felt an enormous pain in his head and fel to the ground shacking and holding his head with both hands as he struggled to control Steamdramon. He could have tried to reach out to Replimon to gain an ally, bt at this point he wasn`t sure he could convence it before Steamdramon took over. The divice on his pocket began to shine, which ment Charles was beggining to loose the battle. Then he too began to shine. "It feels good to be back." Steamdramon commented, standing up. " So little guy, ready for a round of testing?"
(OOC: Steamdramon`s lines are in Italic when he is speaking in Charles`s head. When he isn`t that does not happen. Just to be clear I`m telling you this because Charles just turned to Steamdramon)

((OOC: wait, wait, isn't Dodomon a bit too weak for a 1v1? I mean, he just hatched!))
Tatsuya caressed his right forearm in an attempt to fence off the pain, and while doing so, he gave a look to his digimon. The small fur ball, that wouldn't be bigger than a soccer ball, kept looking at him with its yellow eyes glowing, as if trying to give him a menacing stare. However, he was too cute for that! Tatsuya couldn't help but to laugh slightly: he was certainly impressed that someone so small could be so brave, even if he was a little upset with the guy. He crouched so his face would be at the same height level as the Digimon.
-Hey, little guy. It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you, buddy. My name is Tatsuya, Tatsuya Kazan. It's nice to met you! I sure hope we can get along -Tatsuya was as nice to him as with any human he had just met, not afraid of the Digimon. However, the fur-ball just jumped slightly, turning its back on him. He then would stare at the wall, not convinced.
-However, now that I've introduced, why don't you tell me your name? I think it's fair enough: you bite me, and I introduce myself, and now it's your turn again -the Kazan spoke, with a warm smile on his face. The digimon seemed to think for a while, before speaking.
-I'm Dodomon. Not nice to meet you. I don't like you. You humans, bad people -the Digimon said. Tatsuya was startled. Why would he distrust humans so much if he had just been born? Maybe it was a toddler's whim? Or had he alredy done something wrong without noticing? The new Tamer looked at his partner. He certainly was fresh out of the egg: it barely spoke a few short sentences.
Charles tried lending him a hand. ·Hey pal. That`s your tamer over there. You know, the guy who will be feeding you and taking care of you from now on. But I don`t think it will be out of his own body! Don`t take my word for it, go to him! I assure you it`s much better than having Steamdramon inside your head."
Dodomon seemed a bit lost, but quickly understood. -Ta...mer? No, no, no, bad guy! I don't twust you! You awe lying!-the Digimon said. Tatsuya sighed: Charles intervetion had maybe made things worse than they were at the beggining. -Look, Dodomon -he said, rising his Digivice- -I'm still not sure about all of this. However, this thing, whether we like it or not, is the guilty of our reunion. Trust me, I'm not comfortable with all this Digimon thing... but I will try to take care of you, okay? -Tatsuya tried once again, but with the same result.
-I dwon't cawe. Shwut up... -Dodomon said again. The Kazan sighed once again, it seemed pointless to try to reach him. His attention was turned into Charles, however, when he started glowing. After a few seconds, where Tatsuya's acquaintance once stood, was now a small dragon, around Charles's height. If he recalled correctly, it was Steamdramon, which equals "trouble" in the Kazan's brain. "-It feels so good to be back. So, little guy, ready for a round of testing?" -it spoke, with a menacing look.
They were going to battle? In his house? With his newborn Digimon? Heck no, that was way too dangerous.-Wait, wait, Charles! It's not the time! He just hatched from his egg, and you can't fight in my room! -Tatsuya spoke fast, his hands moving in a conciliatory way. Dodomon, however, did not care about that.
-Human fiwst, now Digimon? Wiewd... But I'm not scawed! Bwing it, meanie! -Dodomon said, absolutely unfazed by the other Digimon. -"Crap... I have to get them not to fight. Dodomon could get in serious trouble. That Steamdramon already killed a guy, I'm not letting him target the little one" -Tatsuya thought, slightly flexing his muscles and preparing his reflexes for any attack the dragon-like Digimon Charles had turned in might try to pull off.
