"Some people think that simply having super powers would be the coolest thing ever," Hachi said to Honoka, "but then I watched that show Saiki K. and was shown the down side to having all that power. Although, if there was a way to turn it on and off it would be manageable..."
Honoka attempted to comment on Hachi's explanation of video game AI, in a way, mentioning that she and Hachi might too be digital if they're in the Digital World. Wizardmon chuckled. "Well I am personally not an expert on many things human, that may be a definite possibility. Probably one I believe you don't wish to discover, however."
Honoka mentioned not having any money on her right now to buy digital flower seeds. Hachi reached into his pant pocket and grabbed his wallet, pulling out a few hundred yen. "How much would seed packets cost?"
Wizardmon shook his head. "I'm afraid your money will not work here; it's just play money to us. We use a currency called bits."
"Bits, huh? Makes sense. Do you happen to have any then?"
Wizardmon reached into his cape or back pocket and took out a coin purse, giving the impression that he had some. Unfortunately he opened it up and held it upside down, revealing that it was empty. Sweatdropping, Wizardmon responded, "I'm afraid I do not have any, either. I was going to look for a job, myself."

Honoka didn't really watch much television, so she couldn't quite follow what Hachi was saying. Maybe if he started talking about wrestling, however... Kind of a consequence of growing up with a father and three brothers. But she understood his general message. "Well, it's true that some people are born more talented than others, but I still think it's important to work hard in everything you care about, so... I don't think superpowers would suit me very well..." She admitted. The conversation moved on to purchasing seed packets and Hachi pulled out his wallet.
"No! Definitely not!" She insisted. "Hachi-san, thank you... I'm flattered, but I can't let you buy me stuff!" Granted, she couldn't exactly figure out why she couldn't allow him. It was his money, after all, and he should be free to spend it however he wanted, but she supposed it was just the pride of a poor person. Still, Wizardmon stated that his money wouldn't work in this world. Then Wizardmon pulled out his wallet, and Honoka was about to make the same statement again. Before she could do so, however, the coin purse was revealed to be completely empty.
Wizardmon then mentioned something about looking for a job, and immediately Honoka saw an opportunity. "I have an idea, Wizardmon-san!" She clasped her hands together with a bright smile. "If you're willing, you can let us help you out for a day! That way we can afford flower seeds, and we can repay you for guiding us!" She lifted her arm up as if flexing a muscle. "I may not look it, but I'm actually really fit, and I've got a loads of stamina!" She turned towards Hachi, leaning in close with an all-too-pleasant smile. "Of course, you can do most of the heavy-lifting, Hachi-san! You're the biggest out of all three of us, after all!"

While he didn't show it at all visually, Hachi was a bit surprised when Honoka denied his offer to buy the seeds himself. "I don't see the problem... seeds wouldn't cost that much, would they?"
That was when Wizardmon revealed that yen wouldn't be acceptable in the Digital World, before consequently showing that he himself didn't have any money to spend either. It was then that Honoka suggested that she and Hachi could help Wizardmon out with any kind of job he may find.
Now, fun fact about Hachi: he never worked a day in his life. Sure, he wasn't the snobby rich kid type, but because he was rich he never really had the need to find a job. So this news was almost enough to stagger him somewhat. Almost. "This should be interesting..."
"You want to help?" Wizardmon asked for confirmation. "Well, it wouldn't hurt to have a few extra hands for whatever work I find."
However, work would have to wait. Out of the corner of his eye, Hachi spotted his bug ghost again. This time it was at the street corner, as if telling Hachi to follow. As if out of instinct, Hachi began walking away from Wizardmon and Honoka towards this ghost...

"Alright!" Honoka cheered upon Hachi's consent accompanied by his usual calm demeanor. She clapped her hands together as if finalizing the agreement, casually twirling towards Wizardmon as he accepted their help. Honoka's smile brightened even more. She had been stuck in this bizarre balance between bewilderment and alienation, but she was finally going to be able to do the thing she felt she did best; help somebody.
"So Wizardmon-san, what do kind of work do you have in mind? I can do all kinds of stuff! I'm not the greatest at heavy lifting, but I've got a great sense of balance, loads of stamina, I arrange flowers at my part-time job back in the human world, and I... Hachi-san?" Honoka noticed Hachi stepping away from the group, turning around the corner. Did he really not want to work that much? No... that didn't seem right. He seemed perfectly fine with it, and Honoka felt like Hachi wouldn't have any problems refusing to help if he actually didn't want to. Did he notice something that she and Wizardmon didn't?
"Excuse me, but we'll be right back, Wizardmon-san!" Honoka said, bowing her head in apology. "Feel free to find a job while we're gone!" She took off after Hachi, who had just turned around the street corner.

Wizardmon was confused as well when Hachi started to head off on his own. Honoka decided to follow him, apologizing to Wizardmon for just taking off like this and saying that they'd be right back. Wizardmon bowed back to her. "Understandable. Try to stay safe."
Hachi himself didn't fully know what he was doing. He was acting purely on instinct, as if someone was pushing him to follow this spirit to where it was going. He picked up the pace as he ran through the streets of Rosewood, brushing past the nearby Digimon, with some scolding him with that "I'm walking here!" kind of tone.
Hachi kept following this spirit until he ended up in a dark alleyway somewhere in the city. The spirit then vanished but he could hear... voices. Familiar sounding voices. Hachi crouched and hid behind a dumpster, peeking his head to the side to see a group of those same rock monsters from before; three of them this time. They were pestering a blue tadpole-like Digimon, who looked very afraid of these rock Digimon.
"You should have paid within the week like you were told, Otamamon," the leader of this group growled, "Otherwise this could have been avoided."
"W-Why do you deserve my shop's money anyways?! You Gotsumon don't work, you just bully us into giving you half our store's profits!"
"You REALLY wanna go there, punk?!" Another Gotsumon said, before all three began to prepare an attack towards this one Digimon...

It didn't take long for Honoka to catch up. Hachi's rather rude path through the crowds made just enough space for the girl to weave through, though she definitely received some dirty looks as she did so. Eventually they got to a dark alleyway and found Hachi hiding behind a dumpster. As Honoka was about to ask what Hachi was doing, she heard the amphibious Digimon get shaken down by three rock Digimon, similar to the rather rude Digimon on the train.
So this kind of stuff happened in the Digital World as well. She supposed that Wizardmon did say there were all kinds of people in the Digital World. Still, it disgusted Honoka that there were Digimon willing to act to ugly in a beautiful place like this! Honoka realized that she should run and find help. But these rock Digimon were clearly aggressive, and the blue tadpole Digimon could get hurt in the time it would take for her to find help in the first place. And it wasn't like Honoka to hide from this. Or keep silent, either. Maybe there was a way she could cause a scene and stop the rock Digimon from assaulting the other one?
"Hey, pebble-brains!" She yelled out, seriously hoping she wasn't coincidentally using some kind of Digital racial slur. She slammed on the side of the dumpster, letting the noise reverberate through the surroundings. "Leave that poor Digimon alone and jump right into here where you belong!" She slammed the side of the dumpster once more for emphasis. She pulled out her Digivice and showed it to the stone-bodied thugs. "You know what this thing is, right? All I need to do is press a button and summon a really strong Digimon named Wizardmon-san! He's like..." Honoka really wished she knew more about games at the moment. "A level fifty mage that can make you all disappear, so don't think about trying anything!"

All three Gotsumon turned around once Honoka slapped the side of the dumpset to get their attention, with Hachi standing right beside her. Sure, what she was doing was stupid since they could probably throw cars, but he didn't feel right just sitting there while Honoka took the initiative to defend a Digimon in need.
The leader Gotsumon immediately recognized these humans. "It's you two again..." he growled.
"You KNOW these humans?!"
"They were on the Trailmon with me on the way back from my errand in the human world," The leader explained. So this was the same one that was rude to them back on the Trailmon. Hachi wasn't too surprised that he turned out to be a two-bit criminal. Otamamon tried to escape while the Gotsumon were distracted, but sadly one of them grabbed Otamamon by the tail, effectively forcing him to stay put.
In an attempt to sound more powerful than she actually was, Honoka bluffed that her Digivice could make Wizardmon appear and wipe them all out at once. Because he can now do that, apparently, Hachi thought.
The Gotsumons looked at each other before each of them began to howl with laughter. They knew Honoka was bluffing, and had the idea that she had no real clue on how her device worked. That made these humans easy pickings, no real challenge even for a rookie Digimon.
"EARTH SHAKER!" The leader called out as it stomped on the ground, causing a series of pillars to spike up, leading right towards Hachi and Honoka. As if on instinct, Hachi held his own Digivice out in front of him as if it were to protect him. Suddenly, that very same bug spirit came from out of nowhere and was absorbed right into his Digivice, engulfing the teen in a greenish-yellow light. When the light faded, Hachi was nowhere to be seen...
...but in his place was a green caterpillar-like creature with a purple beak and light yellow chest. "Well, this is new..."

The rock Digimon didn't fall for her bluff, and Honoka wasn't sure what she was supposed to do about it. But she still couldn't run away, and then she saw Hachi standing beside her. She had hoped he would have taken off and found help from somewhere, but she supposed the boy was just as prideful as she was. She couldn't just back down, even against rock monsters.
Then the lead Gotsumon suddenly stomped the ground and let out a series of stone pillars towards the group. Honoka was momentarily stunned, but soon after turned towards Hachi in an attempt to tackle him to the ground. "Get do-" Before she could finish her Digivice began glowing as a spectral seed sprouted from the ground and into her Digivice.
A large flower budded around her and swallowed the girl whole. The flower then shattered into countless petals of data that tightly formed around her entire being.
Her legs shriveled up entirely and were replaced by a bundle of roots that wrapped themselves towards the ground, pointed out in all directions in a vague semblance of feet.
Around her lower back, a short tail grew out of her rear, its top lined with barbed thorns.
Her wrists began to expand, eventually blooming out into a violet, flowery form while her hands withered into yellow flower stamen.
As her hair flew wildly around her head, it suddenly began to clump together in petal-shaped pieces, forming a crimson flowery mane around her now-spherical head. The top half of her man fell on top of her face, as if forming a floral helmet.
Her eyelids lifted, revealing crystal blue irises that briefly turned gold, momentarily displaying the warm radiance of the sun. She twirled around, throwing one flower-hand straight into the air and the other onto her hip as she stood before everyone as...
"Floramon!!!" Huh? She seemed shorter than usual, and things seemed just a bit off-balance. Also, there were still rocks flying in her direction. She let out a scream as she put her hands out in front of her, or perhaps they were just flowers now? Then they suddenly bloomed out forming a barrier in front of the pair as she instinctively cried out for no particular reason, "Floral Shield!" The stones collided with the flower shield, stopping the impact and causing the flower shield to break apart into a thousand violet flower petals as the scent of lavender covered the dark alley.
"What just happened? What's going on!? Hachi-san, what's go-" She turned to face Hachi only to see a green caterpillar. Speaking in Hachi's voice. "H-Hachi!? Why are you... Why did I... What the hell is going on here!?" Floral Shield - 0/3 c.d.

The two teenagers looked like they were doomed. They had a group of pissed off rock-monsters angry at them, and the leader of this group just so happened so send a series of rock pillars straight towards them. Then by some sort of miracle from the heavens, a bright light surrounded both teens right as the pillars collided with them. When the light dimmed, it was revealed that a shield made entirely of flowers had protected them.
It was also revealed that the teenagers had been replaced by a flower Digimon and a bug Digimon, surprising the Gotsumon quite a lot.
Now some sort of green bug, Hachi heard Honoka's voice coming from his side, so he turned around to look up... only to have to look back down as the human that he had expected to see wasn't there, instead some sort of flower Digimon in her place. "Is that you, Honoka? It appears as if we have become Digimon ourselves," Hachi stated, his voice as calm as ever. He didn't even seem freaked out about it at all. His purple beak grew a smirk. "You know what that means?"
His smirk remained as he gave another look at the Gotsumon group, implying that a beatdown was about to come their way. While the Gotsumon were understandably unnerved, that didn't change the fact that they outnumbered the new Digimon by one. "Grrr, no matter! We can still take you down!"
As if on instinct, Hachi already felt like he knew what to do. "Stinger Swarm!" He had called out before a series of glowing stinger-like entities appeared out of nowhere, darting right towards the Gotsumon group. While two were distracted by having glowing stingers pelted at them, one of the Gotsumon had broken free and charged right towards Honoka, a fist extended as if he was going to punch her right in the face. Because that's what he was planning to do. Dokunemon uses "Stinger Swarm" on the Gotsumon trio (0/3)
Stinger Swarm: Hachi summons a swarm of glowing stingers made from pure energy, sending them towards a target to cause damage. Cooldown is one post.

"Are we... seriously fighting right now!?" Honoka screamed out more in surprise than anything else. Hachi had suddenly launched a barrage of glowing stingers like it was nothing. In fact, his entire attitude was entirely unnerving! He was a freaking worm! Why was he taking it in such stride? It would have absolutely infuriated the girl... if she wasn't going through the same thing. If anything, his casual nature helped Honoka calm down enough to recognize her surroundings. Hachi was a worm, and Honoka was a flower. But Wizardmon had said something about becoming a Digimon earlier, so it wasn't like it was completely unexpected... just surprising.
Things were so strange in this world, Honoka had began to wonder...
And while Honoka was busy thinking, a rock Digimon suddenly ran up to the human-turned Digimon and decked her right in the face. The Floramon was knocked to the ground in an instant, taken completely by surprise.
Despite Honoka's rather confrontation personality, the girl had never been punched in the face before. Her digital cheek throbbed with pain as she rolled around and stood up very quickly.
"Seriously, what's the point of this fight!?" She yelled back in protest. Even so, it wasn't like there was anything she could do about it. They still held the tadpole Digimon hostage, so it wasn't like she could just run off. Then all she had to do was clobber the one holding the poor Digimon so he could get away. "Fine... Whatever! If it's a fight you stupid pebble-brained knuckleheads want... Sunshine Bullet!!!" Her hand blossomed out and began to glow with a golden radiance, suddenly shooting out into a sphere of light that shot towards the rock Digimon holding the tadpole Digimon on its tail.
There wasn't any point in fighting these jerks! All they needed to do was get the tadpole Digimon to safety and to some kind of authority figure. With his testimony these rock Digimon would surely be punished by a group that wasn't a couple kids that could magically transform into Digimon!
OOC: - Honoka gets punched in the face. How rude.
- Honoka shoots at the Gotsumon holding Otamamon hostage
((Sunshine Bullet: Fires a small blast of light energy towards a single target. 2-Post Cooldown.))

"Well I don't think these guys wanna do any talking, so yeah, we're fighting them," Hachi responded as the two Gotsumon were being pelted by glowing stingers. "Using your moves is surprisingly easy, by the way! You don't even have to think too hard about it."
While Honoka was distracted by the sudden-ness of everything, that gave the Gotsumon a chance to deck the Floramon right in the face, knocking her to the ground. He then used that opportunity to kick Hachi right in the side, causing him to crash right into the wall.
The bruiser Gotsumon grinned. "Like smacking a bug off of a flower..." He said confidently to himself before walking towards a vulnerable Hachi to finish the job.
It was here that Honoka began to grow annoyed with this fight. She had one objective it seemed: free the Otamamon from their grasp. This gave her the motivation to fire her very first attack: Sunshine Bullet. The light bullet was hurled right towards the Gotsumon who had been holding onto Otamaon, hitting him directly in the face. "RAAAAAAAAH!!!" it screamed, letting go of the tadpole to cover his eyes, allowing the Otamamon to hop away and hide immediately.
Meanwhile the Gotsumon who had slugged both Hachi and Honoka earlier was about to get a big surprise. Right when he was within reach of the Dokunemon...
"Poison Ride!" Hachi suddenly jumped from his resting position, stabbing the Gotsumon right in the chest with his newfound stinger. The rock Digimon screamed in pain, before said pain subsided... but only so a new kind of pain could surface.
"I feel like... I'm about to throw up..."
The leader Gotsumon watched in disbelief as one of his crew members was temporarily blind and let their source of income run away, while the other looked like he was slowly dying and might hurl at any second. Honoka's "Sunshine Bullet" hit the captor Gotsumon directly, allowing Otamamon to run away.
Hachi uses "Poison Ride" on the bruiser Gotsumon. (Effect: 0/3) (Cooldown: 0/4)
Poison Ride: Hachi jumps up and stabs the opponent with his stinger tail, injecting poison into the target causing chip damage for at least three turns. Cooldown is four turns.

Her strategy had worked out surprisingly effectively. She turned to see Hachi sting the rock Digimon that punched her in the chest. She was worried her new friend had just killed the Digimon, but it didn't seem to cause much damage. Still, the Digimon began to roil over in pain and Honoka had to wonder what was going on. Well... Hachi was a bug now... so did he poison it or something?
But that was so reckless! What if the rock Digimon had some kind of underlying health condition, or some kind of... worm Digimon allergy! Honoka would definitely have to let Hachi have a piece of her mind later. Instead, she needed to focus on the task at hand.
"You! I have no idea what's going on, but it's clear that we're beating your guys up pretty easily! So unless you have more goons in the back of that alley, just give up and..." What would someone demand in this situation? "Just give up and turn yourselves in to the authorities... or something!"
She attempted to get her hand to glow like it did earlier, but for some reason, it wouldn't work. She looked at her flower hand in confusion for a second, but tried not to let it show. Instead, she focused even harder to get her hand to glow, and eventually succeeded. And boy did she succeed.
Honoka's entire body emitted a bright golden light, erasing any trace of darkness in the dark alley.
"I... have no idea what I just did... but I'm pretty sure it's bad news for you if you don't give up right now!" She cried out to the leader rock Digimon in state of near-panic.

Ohohoho, the leader of this little group was PISSED. He couldn't fathom how a couple of humans - not even FULLY GROWN humans - were able to get the upper hand on his clan, and allow that Otamamon to escape! Now the Floramon was expecting DEMANDS of them apparently, bringing up their upper hand. She demanded that they turn themselves in, but her tone of voice... well, it needed work.
"And why would I do that? Because you told me to?" The leader asked in a mocking voice. She seemed to try and use that Sunshine Bullet move again, but it didn't seem to work, as indicated by her looking at her hand blaster again. Gotsumon just laughed. "Wow, you're even dumber than you look! Some attacks just can't immediately be used again!"
"He's right, Flower-girl," the previously blind Gotsumon said after recovering. "You better have more special tricks on ya right now."
Honoka tried with all her might to use the attack again, but now this time it was her entire body that was glowing... but nothing else seemed to be happening. The two Gotsumon were pretty unimpressed.
Hachi signaled at Honoka, pointing towards the two Gotsumon as if saying "keep them distracted". Hopefully Honoka would understand. If she did, Hachi would then suddenly go invisible. What did he have planned...? Honoka's DIPLOMACY failed. Majorly.
Hachi uses "In the Shadows" and goes invisible
In the Shadows: Hachi's Dokunemon skin becomes invisible to the naked eye. Last for three posts unless he attacks or is hit by an attack. Cooldown is two posts, starting after it wears off.

Honoka caught Hachi's message, and though she didn't fully understand what he had planned, she understood that she should probably keep them distracted. As a glowing flower girl she definitely felt like that was something she could do. She didn't respond to Hachi's signal, but instead turned to face the rock Digimon in front of her.
It was clear that these Digimon were too stubborn to surrender. Still, she felt like she could keep their attention pretty well. "You shouldn't give up because I 'told you to', you should give up because it's the right thing to do! If you're a leader, you should consider your friend's feelings! After all, it's not like I see you getting smacked around!"
"And another thing; I don't want to be called 'dumb' by some stupid thug that thinks shaking down other Digimon is a good way to make a living! I mean, you're a literal rock Digimon! Do you know how useful you could be to society? Wouldn't construction work fit you better than a life of crime? It doesn't even seem like a whole lot of effort when you've got a body like yours!"
Honoka was getting even more irritated by the fact that these Digimon weren't even believing a single one of her threats. But... maybe she could use that to her advantage, somehow...
"Maybe I don't have any more tricks... but... this is the only one I need right now!" She exclaimed. "This is my... um..." It was hard coming up with attack names on the fly! "Sunlight Explosion attack! If someone even gets near me, then I'm definitely gonna explode and take out anyone near me! So you two better not get close to me!" Honoka took a step back from the enemy rock Digimon, as if she were frightened of the pair.

Thankfully the Gotsumon didn't notice Hachi disappearing, they were both too focused on Honoka. The third one was still on the ground groaning, it was likely he wouldn't be getting up for quite some time. While they were distracted, Hachi would focus on getting behind the two of them while he was still invisible. He didn't know how long it would last, but he knew it wouldn't be forever.
Honoka was doing a goob job at keeping their attention on her. The leader Gotsumon stepped forward when she said that they should turn themselves in simply because it's the right thing to do. "Oh, pah! I was around long before cities like Terminus and Rosewood popped up. It used to be a pure and simple power system, the strong thrive and the weak are hunted, that's how Digimon should work!"
"Then you HUMANS came along and changed our very way of life. Now Digimon act more and more like humans each year."
"So don't tell US what's right and wrong, we knew how things worked from the start. It's everyone else that's lost their marbles! Why are we still even talking to you? Let's finish her off, now!"
Now was the time to strike. "Worm Venom!" Hachi called out, suddenly appearing from behind the leader Gotsumon. A light violet acidic substance sprayed from his beak in geyser form right at the leader Gotsumon, damaging and and throwing him forward. That left one single Gotsumon left standing, this time frozen in place from watching his teammate suddenly getting yeeted out of the alleyway. While they were distracted, Hachi gets behind Gotsumon and uses "Worm Venom" on him.
Worm Venom: Hachi spits an acidic liquid at his opponent, causing burns and stinging. Cooldown is one post.
Cooldowns:
-Poison Ride (2/4)
-In the Shadows (0/3)
Effects
-In the Shadows (Effect ended; Hachi attacked!)
-Poison Ride on Gotsumon (2/3)
