Loathe as he was to admit it, Kenny's heart was pounding like crazy. Already his bones started to go jittery from that dangerously close call with the Baboongamon's hardened fist barely brushing against his hairs. But the loud wailing roar echoing around the cavern was enough to tell him that, yeah, they had gotten the upper hand already.
The moment the 'other' voice called out, Kenny quickly flinched. Thankfully, it just seemed to be the voice of the boisterous sounding Groundramon calling from the comm line. "'Mentalist?'" Kenny found himself unconsciously muttering to himself. What the heck did he mean by that? Quickly, that thought would be broken by Shade's suddenly shouting at them, forcing him to flinch once more.
Still, he knew not to talk back at him, lest he find himself on the business ends of the shoulder blades. Rather, instead, he'd call out, "Sorry, Shade.", before digging into his Infini-Store once again, this time pulling out his cards, quickly darting through them and constantly shifting his gaze between the battle and the deck. So far, nothing seemed to show up for him. At least, until his fingers laid upon something... annoying.
Perfect.
"Hang on, Auric, I think I have a good idea." He reassured the Prariemon as he grasped the card in one hand and the D-Nexus in the other. In a matter of moments, Skadi would feel something a little different...
Yes! The one-two punch of Shade and Skadi's combo had sent Baboongamon sinking right down into the earth effortlessly... at first. A moment or two of waiting later was enough to tell them that it wasn't going up to the surface just yet. Still, like Shade before them, she stayed put and held her sword to her face once more, ready to anticipate the cave ape's next move.
She shot a quick glance over to the two behind her quickly. From the look of things, both were perfectly unharmed, if not a little frightened. At least, that's what Skadi could tell. Focusing her gaze back to the floor, she stood ready for whatever would happen next. She clenched her sword tightly upon both ends... only to hear the mad ape smashing it's arms upon Shade's body, and Shade opting to go in for the kill, ready to rake his claws upon open flesh.
At the same time, a surge of energy would rock Skadi's body, and already she knew what to do. Instinctively, she held out a palm, already glowing blue, firing out a giant web threatening to trap and hold Baboongamon in it's place while it burned it alive. Unbeknown to her, had Shade manage to tear into the ape, it would be kept stuck in place for plenty of precious moments.
Still, she couldn't afford to hesitate. Right after she fired out the web, she would hold her palm up, this time gesturing to the glacier hovering above the Baboongamon ominously. With just a simple throw of her palm, it would rocket down below, aiming to crush the Baboongamon through sheer power alone; no shield, barrier, or whatever would be able to save it from the wrath of the glacier itself.
They needed all the time they could get.
Skadi, with the aid of Kenny, uses a combination of both JT-06: Dokugumon's Toxic Web to try and buy time for Shade, and Glacial Crash to inflict crazy damage upon Baboongamon.
Glacial Crash: Markhormon summons a giant icicle, slightly larger than the opponent, from out of the sky, to crush the opponent with absolute ease. This attack bypasses shields, defensive buffs, and passives to deal the maximum damage possible to Digimon of equal or lower level to them. Digimon of the Mega level will instead incur 50% of the damage. (3 post cooldown)

Even though the shock-wave from his barrier sent the creature back a couple meters, it didn’t looked feint in the slightest. Kitt gritted his teeth in annoyance as the entity repeated his words once more. This thing really doesn’t know how to speak for itself without trying to imitate him. He stabbed his katana into the ground, twisting the hilt a few times, activating Exceed. A thin coat of blue flames began to wash around Blue Queen, brightening up the tunnel around him, but not the entity before him. Whatever this thing was, it’s really keen with sticking to the shadows to mask its appearance, but not for long.
Bright purple lights around the creature began to pulsate, catching Kitt’s attention as he briefly saw the silhouette of the creature before him. He was tall, so tall that it was hunched over so it could traverse freely across the tunnel. The White Leomon wouldn’t get enough time to make out any more details, as the creature was beginning its assault once more, as two beams of light began to glow from behind the purple mist, preparing to fire.
At once, Kitt’s golden eyes widened, then narrowed as he ducked from the receiving attack, the two lasers hitting the past the entrance of the tunnel. He grabbed the hilt of his blade, focusing his energy into his blade. While on the outside he seemed impossibly calm and composed, but on the inside, the flames in his heart soared.
He dashed forward, charging at his foe and drew his blade, unleashing multiple slashes wrapped in visual distortions that would track his foe at breakneck speeds. Should the attack work, the slashes would then erupt into smaller explosions in a display of accuracy and speed on the entity's body, as well as second degree burns.
Combat Log:
Kitt activates Exceed.
[RAM Upgrade] Exceed - By twisting the grip as if revving a motorcycle engine , Kitt can cause it to spray a flammable liquid over the blade, increasing the range and inflicting damage of its attack. It can up to five fuel phials in total, so this amp-up state is limited. Depending on the ability, each attack consumes one fuel phial at a time.If all five fuel phials are expended, the engine blade will overheat, and he'll have to wait awhile until he can use this ability again. Cooldown: three posts
Kitt shifts his body and ducks, narrowly avoiding the mysterious entity's Crystal Stream.
Kitt then retaliates with Tranquil Slice, aiming directly at the mysterious entity's center mass.
Tranquil Slice - Slides back, unsheathes his sword with blinding speed, and performs multiple unperceivable slashes from a still stance to cut through far away opponents before sheathing his blade. If Exceed is activated, each slash is imbue with blue flames, dealing fiery damage in addition before bursting into small explosions. Cooldown: 3. Cooldown increases to 4 with Exceed. Consumes 2 fuel phials.
Passives: Advanced Feline Senses - Kitt retains his superior senses of vision and hearing from his previous two forms, making him able to function in combat if either senses were compromised.
Cooldown/s: Pride Barrier: 1/3

It was quite impressive really that Shade's voice managed to not only be heard perfectly amongst the loud fighting that was going on, but also that it was delivered without him ever breaking away from the fight. Though the groundramon on the other end didn't sound all that amused by it. "Sheesh, lighten up ya lump of coal..." The voice grumbled but otherwise kept quiet, clearly preffering to let them do their thing in peace seeing how they weren't in any mood to talk. On the plus side, their thing not only seemed to work...it worked out a little too well. The initially gleefully violent Baboongamon's face seemed to suddenly shift into a quiet, silent scream of abject fear as his fist barely seemed to register against Shade's frame. Sure, damage had been dealt, but the black digimon didn't even flinch. Furthermore, he was quick to retaliate with some icy claws of his. Before he could move out of the way however he'd find himself pinned down again, acidic webbing stopping his moves long enough for those claws to dig into him, freezing his body in place further...before being hit one last time by an icicle almost larger than he was. It was a miracle the ultimate's body could still stand under all this pressure, but the ground below him certainly couldn't, his frame pushed further into the ground with such strenght the rock beneath cracked open, the ape's body plunging alongside the floor and falling onto another tunnel below, and if Shade and Skadi weren't careful they'd soon join the baboon on his way down, though they would most likely land with far more grace than he did, the stunned creature falling face first onto the rock below. "W-wow..." The prairiemon said, eyes wide open at the hole the duo had made. "You guys sure did a number on him. The company sure knows how to pick em..." Whatever he was going to say however was cut short by the sound of rubble moving below them...it seemed the baboongamon was not finished yet. Though something seemed different now however. The ape slowly picked himself up from the floor, but instead of standing back up he simply...sat there, slowly lifting his hands up above his head. "I...give." A deep, grumbling voice mumbled out, one that was coming from the ape. "Please...no more...not on face again..."
A rather long moment of silence later, another, more familiar voice would be heard on the other end of the team's communicating device once again. "Ha, it seems our mindless brute might not be as mindless as I once thought...do be careful though, it could be a trick..."
The flaming slashes from Kitt's Blue Queen reached their target, the creature's flesh lighting as the glowing blue flames coated it's body, the shape of it's body being once again illuminated even behind the black inky cloud it hunched behind. It didn't seem all too disturbed up until the flames exploded, the creature being sent further back reeling as for a very brief moment the cloud surrounding it would dissipate, allowing Kitt to finally see what was behind. The ultimate level creature screeched in an rather loud fashion, black smoke oozing out of it's newly sustained injuries. As the black cloud began enveloping it once again it gave Kitt a rather malevolent glare back, but that was all it would do for the moment, as there were more pressing matters at the moment: Kitt's little fireworks had disturbed the old tunnel, the explosion's rumble echoing further and further into the deepest reaches of the cave as rocks and pebbles became loose from the ceiling. Hell, there was a good chance the people on the other tunnel would at the very least feel the rumbling that caused. "Good heavens! Kitt! The readings are going haywire! What's happening on your side?!" The rather panicked voice of Wizen would be heard on the end of Kitt's communicator. Regardless of if Kitt replied or not, the creature on the other end of the tunnel would slowly approach him once again, each step carefully and very deliberately dragged alongside the rocky floor. Once again it spoke, but in a voice that wasn't it's own. It was deeper. Quieter. Older. Ancient, even. "All. Understanding. Soon. Frightened. Stop. Kitt."Each word uttered, another step would be taken. Slowly, but surely getting ever so closer. "Knowledge. Share." It's hand reached out from behind the black curtain, the palm opening up as more smoke came from within it, aiming to envelop the White Leomon with it. "Inside. Invite. We. Us." The Arkadimon takes damage from Kitt's Exceed enhanced Tranquil Slice, before retaliating with Dark Mitochondria.
Dark Mitochondria: Releases a black, poisonous cloud at an enemy. Deals heavy corrosive damage on contact as well as blurrying the enemies' vision with images of...something. 3 post cooldown.

Kitt stood back, sheathing his sword in a slow, precise manner. When the hilt of his sword and the scabbard clicked together, the flaming slashes on his foe exploded on cue, sending it further back as the cavern began to shake and rumble. He gritted his teeth, he has to be careful. They were hundreds of feet underground, and these caverns weren't exactly the sturdiest. Any more attacks like that and these tunnels were sure to collapses, trapping not only him, but the others as well. So for now, his attacks must hit the enigma, and it alone if he wanted to overcome his foe.
His gaze locked onto the Digimon, as the mist around it slowly dissipated, revealing a tall, hunched Digimon with tentacle-like fingers. Its torso was muscular and robust, with reverse-jointed legs and a insectoid-like head. It was green in color and protruding from its back were jagged wings -- Arkadimon Perfect.
Hearing the panicked voice from Dr. Wizen expressing concerns, Kitt took out his D-Nexus. "Apologies, that was me. I have a monster on my hands, so I had to use my best attack on it to see if it was affected or not." He looked at the Ultimate level Digimon, who was giving him a vicious glare. "Looks like I've made it mad. I'll try and and keep it down a bit, though I don't know if I can do it for very long. I still don't know what this thing's capable of."
He put his D-Nexus away, and glared at Arkadimon who was now approaching him. Kitt assumed a pose, placing his hand on his Blue Queen, preparing for its next attack. The creature spoke, only this time, in a deeper, older sounding voice that send shivers to the White Leomon's spine.
"H-How do you know my name? Who--What are you?!" Kitt angrily question, barring his teeth. He watched as the Arkadimon extend his hand, with black smoke coming from his palm. Kitt had no means of avoiding it since it was spreading so fast, so he covered his mouth, trying his best not to inhale whatever this stuff was. He got on one knee, feeling a burning sensation pain coursing all over his body. It was so painful, that he couldn't even concentrate evolving to his Ultimate form.
Coughing up the fumes, he took out his D-Nexus, connecting to Kenny's. "I...need help, and fast," he wheezed. " This guy's...too strong. Bit off more than I can chew..."

From the way things had looked so far, both had managed to lay the absolute hurt upon this mighty beast, and with Skadi's successful gambit buying time for Shade, just enough for Skadi to hurtle the glacier clean onto the ape's head, she was certain they had this right in the bag... had it not been for the unintentional cracks forming beneath their feet below.
"W-whoa!" Her enormous frame started to wobble as she tried to back away from the cracking floor, but it would be too late. Like the Baboongamon before her, the Markhormon would also follow suit, plunging into the earth below with him. This time however, grasping her sword, she would holster it up into the air, and go in for a massive plunge; this time not at Baboongamon, but the floor itself.
With a sharp crack, her sword would stick itself into the ground, but this time, nothing would happen, except for Skadi having landed upon her own two feet. With one quick tug, the sword would be out once more from the earth, and she stood her ground once more, waiting for the gorilla to resume his assault.
That never came.
The determined look on the goatwoman's face shifted to a more concerned one as her adversary spoke, moaning in pain. Was he just trying to defend his territory, and he mistakened them for intruders, opting to pillage everything inside? Was it a trick, like Wizen theorised? What was going on back there? She winced a little as a series of explosions, momentarily followed by powerful rattling, could be heard and felt from the other side.
Perhaps that's what scared him?
Grunting a little, Skadi simply sheathed her sword and got down on one knee, down to the Baboongamon's level, "Look, I'm sorry if it looked like we were intruding on your territory back there." She started, laying a hand on the Perfect-level's shoulder to comfort him, "We were just sent here as part of KIZNA to investigate the strange readings in this cavern. We just needed to defend ourselves back there. But if there's anything we can do to make up for it, please tell us now. We'll help however we can."
It was kind of hard for Kenny to comprehend just what the hell was going down exactly so far, but from what he could see, it was clear that the duo had done quite the number on this mighty ape. But while he could feel his heart pounding as she fell into the depths below, the noises she made was enough to tell him that she was alright, at the very least.
"You're telling me," Kenny got up as he dusted the dirt off his pants, "Skadi here can pack quite the punch given the chance. Guess all that training with Valt did pay off after all. I just hope they're fine-"
Quickly, he found himself cut off by the explosions rumblings within the other side of the cave; no doubt Kitt had found himself face to face with an equally powerful Digimon himself. Pausing for a few moments before turning to the wall, he could only wonder, "What the hell's going on back there?"
He didn't need to wait too long to find out.
Speak of the devil, his D-Nexus buzzed like crazy, and instinctively he picked it up - and immediately, his heart sank. 'Too strong'? 'I need help'? "Oh... shit." Slowly, everything started to click inside his brain. Something had caught up with Kitt and had done quite the number on him. He had to do something. And fast.
Skadi's D-Nexus, too, would buzz in turn, as she picked it up, "Skadi, Kitt needs our help!" Kenny's panicked cry could be heard by everyone near her, "Get to the other tunnel as soon as possible!"
She froze for a moment. Kitt? In trouble? Maybe that could have explained the explosions earlier? But that Baboongamon and all... what was she to do here? Kitt would kill her if she just up and sent Shade out to help him while she took care of the Baboongamon. Yet she couldn't risk leaving Shade back there, lest he opt to put the ape out of his misery.
She didn't really have a choice in the matter, did she?
With a sad sigh, she turned to the WraithGururumon, "Shade, can you go in there and save Kitt, or at least, hold the other Digimon off until I get back? I need to look after Baboongamon, just in case something goes wrong."
Tracking all active cooldowns here just in case Baboongamon opts to attack again and/or Arkadimon opts to drag her and Shade into their battle with Kitt as well by force.

Shade’s concentration for the fight thankfully wasn’t broken at all and with the baboon getting a clear hit on him one would think he’d flinch or something. The wolf growling a bit as now the fight continued on; he was clearly ready to go all in with the way he was moving. But with the goat making such a strike against the baboon? Well the wolf blinked a bit as they felt the ground start to give way. The wolf sighed a bit and as they fell he’d jump from bits of rubble to bits of rubble with ease. The large mon was heavy and sturdy sure but it wasn’t a good idea to take this fall without some kind of work to mitigate it.
He’d land on his feet and with either of his hands coming out to continue this fight he looked puzzled at the fact that the baboon’s hands were up in the universal sign of surrender. He’d growl softly and he’d motion at the goat for her to keep her guard up; he didn’t trust this but… Hearing what the human had to say shade’s eyes narrowed and his pupils turned into slits as he assessed the danger that they were in.
If kitt was having a rough time that meant something capable of fighting champion was over there; something capable of fighting him and besting him. Shade nodded his head to skadi and with a flex he’d jump upwards. Sure he wouldn’t get the whole way but his sharp claws and elbow spikes would dig into the wall allowing for him to climb up.
It’d take a minute or two before he could get to where they had fallen, and he’d drag himself up with a growl.
”Don’t take your eyes off of him even for a moment. If he tries anything don’t hesitate. Shade doesn’t trust him.”
He knew how trickey mons could be and without much else he’d start at a lofty pace… before breaking into a full out sprint back the way they came. With any luck he’d be to kitt very shortly…
Log: -Shade grumbles about trust -Shade climbs up -Shade does the run

At first the Baboongamon did little but to stay still and visibly on edge as the goat lady approached, but when it became clear she wasn't being outwardly hostile, the ape seemed to relax a bit, letting out a rather long sigh of sheer relief as Skadi placed her hand on his shoulder.
"No apologize. My fault. I should have talked. Not roared and punched. Bad call." He grunted, giving a clearly apologetic bow with his head. He might not have had a good grasp on words but he knew how to get his point across at least. If it was a trap, the ape was certainly commited to his acting. Though even with his eyes obscured by that protective coat of rock and stone, it was clear by the tilting of his head and his silence that he seemed a bit perplexed at what Skadi had just said.
"Territory?" He said, before shaking his head. "No...wanted to drive you away yes...but not my territory." Well that was certainly not the expected answer, now was it? At least Wizen seemed to think so, though he chose to keep quiet for the moment. At the mention of the "strange readings" however, the ape did seem to understand quite a bit, as he soon pointed his finger at the oposite end of the tunnel that kept winding down further and further below.
"Down below. Everyone that goes down never comes back up. Bad noises. Weird lights...screams and shadows. Then silence." The baboon shook his head, hair standing up as he described to the best of his ability what he knew. "Only andromon and egg made it out. I hope they did..."
The discussion with the stone ape didn't go much farther than that before being interruped by...Kitt, asking for help on the other end of the line, having meet someone or something dangerous on his side, and he wasn't doing too well. Luckily they didn't take long to send someone to aid him, Shade going back to the left side to help out while Skadi and Kenny stayed back with the baboongamon, as did Auric. Well, for a moment, before a familiarly gruff voice berated him from the other side of the line.
"Don't you stand there ya oversized hare! Help them!"
"R-right!" The prairiemon nodded, immediatelly making his way for one of the walls of the cave, before turning to Kenny. "I'll dig a tunnel to the left side. I might not get there before Shade but worse case scenario he and Kitt can use it as an escape route. You uh...may wanna stand back."
With that his metallic claws began spinning rapidly as he dug them into the rocky wall, the stone breaking and cracking under the pressure of the spinning gauntlets as if they were two massive drills.
As for the baboongamon? He looked at the goat before giving her a simple piece of advice. "Want to help? Go back. Forget the down below. It's safer that way."
"K-kitt...I don't know how to tell you this but...we aren't picking up any other signals on your side besides yours..." The terriermon replied with a noticeable tremble in his voice, both quite unsure what to make of this and rather frightened by the possibilities, though at the very least he managed to give Kitt something a bit more helpful. "Hang in there alright? Someone from the other tunnel is coming there to help you out!"
"Beyond. Far. Distant. Digital. Reality. Stars." The arkadimon meanwhile continued his string of words in that ancient voice of his. Was it perhaps replying to Kitt's question? Maybe it was simply spouting nonsense again. It was hard to tell. He slowly approached the Leomon, feet not so much dragging against the floor as they were scraping against it. Now that it was getting closer Kitt could tell some more details about the creature. For starters it was fairly lighter in color than the usual arkadimon, being closer to a light shade of blue than the darker color usually seen on it's kind. Adorning it's head were two glowing diamond like stones, clearly the two glowing dots that had been visible from the other side of the smoke curtain. In fact, shards and chunks of what seemed to be crystal like formations seemed to be growing out of various parts of it's body.
As it got closer the creature extended out an open hand, another glowing shard of crystal extending out of it's palm, it's sharp and pointy end aiming directly at the Leomon's chest. Without another warning the creature lunged forward, aiming to stab that crystal deep into Kitt, and with it came a simple statement. No. It was a request.
"Let Us back in."
Arkadimon tries to share his gift with Kitt.
Crystallized Offering: Arkadimon stabs at his enemy with a glowing crystal. While it may have been a little impossible for the Baboongamon to actually see, there was no trace of bitterness or anger to spot upon Skadi's face, but understanding. She could tell from the tone of voice from him alone that he wasn't acting out of maliciousness on his end. Yet, as she continued to listen to the simple but informative (yet very concerning, a concerning grimace started to form on her face. How did he end up here, anyways? Presumably, he knew that something was down there. And that Andromon and egg earlier looked to be the only (known) survivor.
Was he captured? And that attack earlier just as a way to protect them from whatever lay? That's why he simply told her to 'go back'?
If only if that was that simple...
She only gave a sad sigh before she looked at the Baboongamon once more, "I wish we could. I'm sorry I forgot to mention this earlier, but you know the Andromon and egg you mentioned earlier?" A brief pause followed, as she took a moment to dig out the list from her Infini-Store, and gave it a quick slap for emphasis, "Well, we're also there to save any researchers and rescuers down inside this cavern too, on this list. That Andromon was one of them, and I presume that the egg was what was left of his partner. At the very least, I can assure you that we've rescued them, and they're getting treated as we speak."
Before she could continue further, her ear gave a simple twitch as scraping noises and odd voices echoed nearby, enough to tell her she needed to hurry. And fast. As she spoke again, she pulled out the crystalline belt once more, "If you want, I can at least get you back up to the surface so they can treat you for your wounds and get you back home." Grasping the belt in one hand, she'd pull out her D-Nexus once more and put it to her ear, "Wizens, is it OK if I send this Baboongamon back up here?"
Only when she got the OK she would take the time to put the belt on the ape.
Kenny's eyes constantly kept darting between both Skadi's conversation with the Baboongamon and the wall blocking him and Auric from being able to reach Kitt in the nick of time. Shade hadn't hesitated, already sprinting ahead to get to Kitt before it was too late, leaving only the three to their own devices. At least, until the Groundramon's voice snapped him out of his brief trance.
He didn't need Auric to warn him. But he gave a nod and took a few steps back, raising an arm to shield his eyes from any wayward dust or debris that would otherwise possibly come flying his way. Already, however, he was clutching his D-Nexus as he eyed Skadi down below.
He had a plan ready.

Shade didn’t really care too much about the baboongamon once he had left the scene, it was completely in the hands of skadi, kenny and the prairiemon. His goal was to reach kitt who apparently was having issues in the other tunnel. It was foolish for them to split up unevenly but there wasn’t much that they could do about that at this point. Shade’s full blown sprinting brought him to see a sight that he wasn’t initially sure how to process. But instinct, smell and his own body moved faster than his brain could. It knew that the leomon there was kitt, it knew that with the way that the arkadimon was poised it was going to hit kitt with something that would hurt him gravely. So without even thinking his body moved; in one motion he’d use kitt’s shoulders as an anchor point. Pushing him backwards with a heavy force while flipping over him. One foot coming down to slam the arkadimon’s head downward, while the other kicked at the crook of the elbow of the arkadimon’s attacking arm. It would kill all the momentum in the arm of the creature ontop of forcing them to the ground. This of course would keep up with his own momentum; using the arkadimon to as another pivot point so he could land behind them. His claws coming up to either of his sides, ready to continue the fight and hopefully he would have knocked kitt far enough away for them to get their bearings. ”Shade does not think so filthy vermin. He knows your kind and your appetite. Get away from that one.”Speaking in such a way to try to draw attention from the whiteleomon; if the arkadimon fell for it kitt would hopefully have the time to get back to his feet… Log: -Shade arrives in the nick of time -Shade flips over kit using his body as a pivot point to kick the arkadimon’s attack downward. Along with his head. -Shade lands behind the arkadimon and tries to draw his attention. Pasives: Old One|Combat Passive: This digimon is far older than it remembers, far older than those that interacted with it feel. It's memories are halting, it's body is shifting and twisting to such a degree that none can remember that it too was an old one. It puts off a constant wretched and forgotten aura, one that derives from primal times of the digital world. It is merely a fraction of it's potential of it's power. Manifested in a thirty foot aura of wrong and fear. Those that reside within the digital family of 'unknown' are the only ones not affected by this aura. Outside of combat this digimon's aura is less intense. Fighting against this digimon long term is difficult as this aura can indeed mess with even the most potent warriors of equal level to it. Those more powerful are unaffected and individuals immune to such mind effecting abilities on the same level... find that their immunity is far less as this ability bypasses them completely. [PC/NPC approval required for fear effect.] In short, this fear aura bypasses immunities gradually.
Black Ice|Combat Passive: This digimon has spent a long time in the north, hardening and deepening it's body with the primal element of ice. Cold or ice based attacks are ineffective against it while fire damages it twice over.
Sturdy|Combat Passive: This digimon's body is durable from spending so long in the north, the memories of that place has steeled it to attacks that would often leave others pulverized. It ignores the knock back portion of attacks and takes 15% reduced damage from all physical sources.
Hoarfrost|Combat Passive: This digimon's body is a strange one; denser than most and far more in tune with the climate that it grew in. Within cold or frozen climates this digimon enjoys a strong regeneration while in hot climates it's regeneration is mild at best… Cooldowns: IS: [3/3] IFF: [⅔]

As the Arkadimon began its slow approach, the black, poisonous cloud it had emitted began to take a toll on Kitt, causing him to cough and wheeze even harder, gasping for air. His vision was beginning to blur, his entire body became heavy, and each time he inhaled and exhaled, it became harder and harder. Wizen’s voice became muffled, so did whatever the Arkadimon was saying. He wanted to run, but everytime he did, the pain that he felt all around grew more and more.
He cursed at himself. It was a mistake for him to split off from the others all because he didn’t want to be around Shade. Had he swallowed his fears and doubts, this never would have happened; heck, maybe all three of them would have stood a chance against this foe. He had let his emotions control him, and now he was paying the price.
Seeing the creature raising its hands at him, protruding a crystal aimed at his chest, Kitt closed his eyes, bracing himself for the impact. Was this the end? If so, his only regret was being so cold and distant to Kenny and Skadi.
Just as he heard the Arkdimon preparing to impale him, the White Leomon suddenly felt a heavy weight on his shoulder before being pushed backwards, away from the black smog. He inhaled sharply, coughing harder, the fresh cave air filling his lungs. It was such a relief. For a second he thought he was a goner. Wondering if it was Skadi who came to his rescue, he looked up in shock, seeing that it was not his sheep friend, but Shade.
“Y-You?!” Kitt almost didn’t recognize him due to his evolved appearance, but saw it was him since he talked in the third person. “But why? I was so mean to you. I didn’t trust you; I was so afraid of you and you...saved me?”
Whether Shade responded or not, Kitt got back on his feet, slowly catching his breath. He still felt pain all around, so it would be a minute before the coercive pain subsided, allowing him to get back in the fight.

The ape gave a silent nod at Skadi's words. He didn't say a word but it was clear he was at least somewhat relieved to hear the Andromon and egg had made it out in one piece. It was also clear nothing he could say would deter them from going further below, and though he did show some visible hesitation as Skadi wrapped that belt around him, he didn't stop her either. Either he knew what she was doing, or he trusted her enough to not expect any ill intentions from her. That was nice at least, considering he had been trying to punch the group away less than a couple minutes ago.
"That does sound like the most reasonable course of action. Very well, if he has no objections about it send him up. Who knows? Maybe he can tell us more once he's calmed down enough." The terriermon replied to her, a faint light already encompasing the baboongamon as he spoke. Before he was completely transported out though, he seemed to point to the tunnel again and mouth something to Skadi.
Something to the effect of "Don't trust him."
Whatever that meant would have to wait, as by then the baboon had completely faded out, a voice on the other end of the line soon piping up again with a reassuring tone.
"Transportation succesful. We'll tend to Baboongamon here, now you guys focus on helping Kitt!"
Which was just what Auric was in the middle of, as the walls slowly collapsed in front of him as he swiftly opened up a way for them to reach Kitt. They would reach the other tunnel just a moment after Shade reached it, though as soon as the wall opened to reveal the other side the prairiemon froze for a moment, before rushing back the way he came, pushing Kenny as far away from the newly made entrance of the tunnel as possible.
"Move, MOVE!"
That was all the warning they would get before a white glow came from the recently opened end of the tunnel, a wave of force sending the two stumbling to the ground...
"No fear." It stated as it approached the leomon. Was it boasting? Or trying to be reassuring?
Luckily Kitt wouldn't have to find out, as an unlikely savior emerged from the shadows behind him, the dark digimon that was Shade pretty much jumping on top of the surprised arkadimon and sendimg them face first to the ground, stopping the creature's attack on it's tracks.
"Knowledge. Understanding. Reject?" It said, more dissapointment in it's tone than anything, all while still laying motionless on the floor. Well, not entirely motionless: a faint slit like line would be visible on the arkadimon's back, it growing bigger and wider by the second as the creature seemed to be literally splitting open like a banana peel, a crystal like formation emerging from the slit in it's back. Though that wasn't the most upsetting part, that would come if any of them decided to focus on the inside of Arkadimon's back...or rather, what it should have been.
Had it been anything but a digimon, one would probably have expected something similar to tissue, flesh or bones to be visible, but that would have only been feasible on a non digital creature. But the inside of this Arkadimon didn't have that, nor any type of visible data, or code or a core to speak of. There was nothing. Just a black, endless void.
...not that they would be able to appreciate that for long, as the crystal formation sprouting from that black void began emitting a blindingly white glow, a faint chime like sound pierced the ears of those around.
"Cease existing." Was all it said before the light expanded outwards, threatening to consume both Kitt and Shade in it's burning embrace.
Erasure: Releases a highly concentrated explosion of blank energy in a large area around Arkadimon. Deals damage to any target caught on the blast range of the explosion, and briefly dissorients those within a 20 feet range away from it. 4 posts cooldown.

With Wizen's approval, Skadi did make sure that, as she wrapped the belt around the Baboongamon, she wouldn't brush any part of her body, or the belt, upon any of his injuries or wounds, only stepping back to admire her handiwork. But as she watched the rock-armoured ape fade away, she spotted him mouthing to her … and she frowned concerningly.
'Don't trust him?' From what she could tell so far, he was most likely talking about the mysterious entity beyond. But, considering what she knew so far, he could just as well be talking about Shade himself. Still, whatever further questions she had in mind, she knew she had to bite her tongue and save them for later, if that ever came. The moment the Baboongamon had disappeared, she would pick up the belt and put it back into the cube once more before calling out to Kenny, "I'm done! A little help getting me back up here, please?"...
Only to feel a small, but concerning rumble underneath her hooves. Her eyes widened.
Oh no. Above, peering into the hole away from sight, Kenny could only smile as the talks between both Skadi and the Baboongamon ended peacefully. And on her cue, he would give a quick nod, before switching on the V-Pet feature, dissolving the Markhormon back into small bits of data into his D-Nexus without much of a hassle. Once the last bits had gotten back inside, he'd go back over to Auric to try and peer into the hole.
Key word: try.
All he could catch from his incredibly brief glimpse before Auric shoved him away were 2 blurry figures, and a giant white orb. He yelped in surprise as he felt himself pushed back by the Prariemon, but he got the message fairly quickly. But he could only get a few steps away before the force would knock him over down on his feet and onto the floor, face first.
"Uhrgggh..." He let out a weary, slightly pained moan as he willed himself to push himself up from the ground. His eyes found themselves fixated on Auric's hole. Or at least, what was possibly left of it, "...what the hell was that just now?"
All he knew was that he possibly wasn't going to like the answer.

Shade gave a small growl as he watched the arkadimon; he didn’t like this nor did he trust this. Their temperament was unlike those in the dark area; they were cruel and vicious predators that preyed on the weak. Consuming many in an instance; their lust and desire to devour others was well known even to those that stayed away from society. Seeing the arkadimon split open like a banana peel brought a full on stop to shade’s momentum. His eyes widened and he’d flick his attention over to kitt. They had been fighting against this creature for a bit now right? Whatever they were going to do probably wasn’t going to be healthy for either of them. That being said, he couldn’t just leap over them and shove the leomon out of the way again. So before he could even move that faint chime pierced his ears and made the wraithgururumon practically have to slap his head to avoid concentrating on the pain from that… Followed by that light burning his body in it’s embrace. It was not the most painful thing he had ever felt sure… But damn did it come close! If he was any lesser of a mon he might have ran from it; but his body which was keyed towards the northern expanse at this point didn’t seem to struggle too badly against this attack. Although the ringing in his ears didn’t go away in the slightest… Hearing the muffled words from the arkadimon all the wraithgururumon could think of was how to handle this. He couldn’t hear anything properly; the blurry lines of the crystal were thankfully right in front of him. He felt like shattering it was the best bet. Growling low the wraithgururumon shot forward, bringing his elbow around in a cruel arc. Looking to punch into the crystal with his long spike like protrusion. He had no words for whatever this mon had become and wasn’t even sure how to approach it with the pain he was feeling from it. But one thing was for certain. This thing had to die. Log: -Shade is hit by Erasure, taking the damage in stride. -Shade uses Ice-Splitter, trying to punch into the crystal with it! Passives: Old One|Combat Passive: This digimon is far older than it remembers, far older than those that interacted with it feel.

Shattering them like one would shatter a thin pane of glass. The weight behind this move is considerable and when not used against a defensive move this instead punctures into the body instead. Three post cooldown. Cooldowns: IS: [0/3] IFF: [3/3]

Kitt didn’t get an answer from Shade as he recovered enough to assume his stance. Frankly that question was the least of his concerns at the moment as he looked at their foe. His eyes widened in disgust and horror as the Arkadimon began to split itself open, revealing a crystal-like formation, the same material around his body. He couldn’t help but avert his gaze for a moment to prevent himself from vomiting from just even at whatever it was doing.
The Arkadimon’s words were the only warning Kitt got before he raised both of his hands outwards, summoning his barrier just in time before the light of blank energy enveloped him. The barrier shimmed and vibrated violently, the sheer power of the attack threatening to shatter if the White Leomon lost focus. Despite that, small parts of the barrier would break off, exposing Kitt’s parts of Kitt’s body to blinding light. While the attack was nasty, it didn’t take him out of the battle yet. Although his ears began to ring from the aftermath.
Looking at the Arkadimon, Kitt couldn’t help but to conclude that whatever this thing was, it was not a Digimon, but something else, and it needed to be stopped fast before it brings the entire cave down. Or worse, escapes into the outside world, inflicting untold harm onto others. Just even thinking about that outcome made the White Leomon stand up in defiance, his golden eyes flashing in determination.
“That’s it... This stops now!” Kitt yelled. He could barely hear himself, but he knew that the Arkadimon was listening, that much was clear. He clenched his fist, his body glowing a vibrate orange. “Fear, knowledge, understanding, rejection? I could care less about that! The only one who will truly understand all the crap you’ve been spouting is you, when you blush a pretty pink after I kick your ass!”
At once, Kitt was enveloped in an orange light, digivolving into his Ultimate form, GrapLeomon. The turbines on his arms and feet began to rotate rapidly by his fiery spirit emitting from his DigiCore. After Shade’s assault, Kitt would begin charging at the foe. He revved up his broadsword, and one he got close, he spun his sword, aiming to slash all around Arkadimon with fiery blows.
The time for holding back was over.
Combat Log:
Kitt takes 50% less damage from Erasure thanks to his Pride Barrier, though still suffers burns on parts of his body since the attack was strong enough to partially break through.
Kitt digivolves to his Ultimate level: GrapLeomon.
Kitt follows up to where Shade left off, attacking with Finishing Touch, aiming to slash all around Arkadimon's body as well as the crystal protruding on it's back.
[RAM Upgrade] Exceed - By twisting the grip as if revving a motorcycle engine , Kitt can cause it to spray a flammable liquid over the blade, increasing the range and inflicting damage of its attack. It can carry up to five fuel phials in total, so this amp-up state is limited. Depending on the ability, each attack consumes one fuel phial at a time.If all five fuel phials are expended, the engine blade will overheat, and he'll have to wait awhile until he can use this ability again. Cooldown: three posts.
Passive: Advanced Feline Senses - Kitt retains his superior senses of vision and hearing from his previous two forms, making him able to function in combat if either senses were compromised.
Finishing Touch - Rushes to the opponent and spins his sword/s outward, constantly slashing the target as they rise upward before delivering a final strike that sends the enemy downward. Exceed effect: Enemy takes additional burn damage for 2 turns. [Two turn cooldown/ 3 with Exceed] Consumes 2 fuel phials.
Cooldown/s: Pride Barrier: 0/3 Finishing Touch w/Exceed: 0/3
Exceed: 2/5 fuel phials used.

It was hard to tell what the Arkadimon's endgame was, if any. Perhaps after that blast it was planning on absorbing whatever was left of the others for itself. Perhaps it was going to make a run for it. Regardless of it's plan it was probably not expecting Shade or Kitt to live through the attack...much less lunge at it during the attack.
There was nothing the creature could do before it felt that spiky elbow piercing right into the crystal, making a loud piercing noice as it did. Even before it could react to that the Leomon had changed forms as well, and was now charging down in it's direction, that sword of his cutting and slicing and tearing it's body and crystal all over.
The creature shook and thrashed, letting out a shriek of sheer pain as all the attacks landed against it's crystalized self. It shivered and trembled and vibrated until...it didn't anymore. The arkadimon fell crumpled to the floor, the crystal now shattered into a million tiny shards and scattered all over the cave, the practically unraveled body undernead the destroyed mineral trying to crawl away deeper into the cave, but didn't make it far.
The whatever remained of the crystal on the arkadimon's back glowed with a blinding intensity, before just...banishing, as if it hadn't been there, leaving only the already shattered shards behind as evidence. As for the arkadimon, well it was obvious it was no longer a threat, it's flickering body barely holding on together as it still tried to slowly crawl away from the group.
"...gram...pa..."
The creature's body shattered into bits of code and data, leaving that final whisper, that final cry for help hanging in the air as it's body dissapeared and left only the remaining data behind. Said data however, instead of dispercing as per usual seemed to be moving away from them, slowly at first, then flying away as if pushed by a powerful wind, floating back into the darkness deep inside the tunnel...
"G-good heavens...Is everyone alright? Kitt? Shade? Kenny?" A familiar voice cried out from the groups' comms.
"I-I think we're fine...mostly. What even was that thing?" The prairiemon replied with a groan, getting back on his feet and loudly cracking his neck.
"I...I don't know. The data signature seemed like that of an Arkadimon but...there was something odd about it. It looked distorted, like it had been tampered with, or mutated." He sighed, his tone carrying a noticeable tremble as the sounds of shuffling and paper could be heard. "Forgive me but I have to ask the obvious question, did anyone feel or notice something odd about that digimon? Anything at all?"
