Ramon faced a fold up soccer goal he'd purchased earlier from a sports store. His left foot leaned lackadaisically on the soccer ball in front of him, and his eyes narrowed in on the center of the target. With a swift and stern kick, Ramon knocked the football forward with a powerful velocity, swishing into the back of the net before resting on the ground. Looking inquisitively at the after effect of his shot, Ramon's face took on a puzzled expression as he wracked his brain, trying to think of a way to improve himself. "Ahhh..... aye aye aye, no bueno." he muttered to himself, not satisfied with his current performance. While Ramon's shot was not bad, it did not stand out enough for him to consider it good, there should have been more power, more balance.
Retrieving the ball, Ramon went back to his starting position and tried again. His results were slightly better this time around, though he couldn't help but notice something was definitely off with his game. For some reason, the ball didn't want to seem to go the direction he vied for. Ramon did feel nervous about his new surroundings, for some reason his new setting didn't seem to mesh with him as well as he had originally predicted. While he wasn't uncomfortable, per say, he wished there was some more familiar territory to the Asian setting. One thing he couldn't complain about was the weather, at least. A full week of sun was great for getting his new training regimen underway.
Steeling himself, Ramon placed the ball at his feet a third time, though he took slightly longer to kick the ball this time. Ramon gave the ball a more powerful kick, the resounding "whoosh" echoing off the grass pleasing his ears. However, one thing he had not anticipated was that he had used too much power, and the ball rocketed past the goal net he had set up. "Perra." Ramon said, his eyes rolling as he ran past the ball he had haphazardly kicked.

"Of course he's gone for the whole night, why would he come back? Oh right, because that's what normal people do." A very frustrated, electric blue haired individual grumbled as he entered the park.
Gabe of course was out looking for his Tamer, Darian, who hadn't returned from his so called 'short walk' the previous night by the time Gabe woke up. So this meant that of course, being the loyal Digimon partner he was, Gabe was out looking for him. Due to the fact that Miyashita Park was where most runaways attempted to shack up, despite Darian's age, Gabe still checked there first.
Gabe chose to stick to the path, deciding to walk from one end of the park to the other. While to some this didn't seem like a good searching strategy, Gabe had already deduced that Darian wasn't here. Thanks to his acute canine nose, Gabe would inevitably find Darian quickly, unfortunately that also meant he would be met with early disappointment upon not catching him in the area he had guessed.
He pulled out his cell phone, sending Darian another most likely to be ignored text message involving the words "where the hell are you" and "what the hell man". Gabe was usually a little irritable upon waking up, but this was just ridiculous that Darian had spent the night off wandering somewhere without even a warning.
During this little interlude in his head, his ears perked, registering a crack of wind and the whoosh of grass coming from a short distance away. Gabe turned his head at the right moment to see a ball on its first bounce to the ground about to roll right into him, shortly followed by a teenager chasing it.
Lifting his foot with practiced timing due to all the sports Darian and Gabe had played together, the ball collided with the bottom of his heel, grinding to a halt. Snapping his foot backwards, and rolling the ball slightly on top of his toes, he kicked the ball up and into his hand. Palming the ball in his left hand, he held it out for the running man to retrieve, a smirk gathering on the disguised Digimon's face.
Working up a small ounce of sarcasm, he spoke,
"Hey buddy, I think you missed."

Ramon was sure he was in for it now. In his mind a scene played out of the football smashing directly into someone who just so happened to be walking on the other side of his goal. Why hadn’t he just set it up next to a tree or on another flat surface? Instead of it smashing into someone completely oblivious, a young adult looked up attentively, then stopped Ramon’s ball. Ramon felt taken aback, though at the same time somewhat relieved that he wouldn’t have to go too far to get his ball back.
As he approached, a look of surprise wormed its way onto Ramon's face, who was this blue haired person? Even more so, Ramon was somewhat taken aback that they had so non-nonchalantly stopped the ball, with what seemed like a decent amount of skill. Of all things to happen today, he hadn’t expected to run into another person who played soccer. Though this stranger was right, he did miss the goal, pretty badly at that. Ramon internally rolled his eyes, still very much annoyed with himself for his slip ups.
”Ayyyee… yo no pue-…. I mean, I no…. uhm… precise with kick.” Ramon said, partially struggling to communicate in Japanese. He was wishing right about now he’d practiced more or listened to some of the programs during the flight. At the time, he’d been too pre-occupied with his own thoughts about what it would be like to live in a foreign land. Even now, he was still trying to get used to the idea of playing soccer for Japon, not his home of Mexico. Then again, that feeling would most likely pass once he got to know some of the other players around the city, or so he assumed.
”You play football for… college team?” Ramon inquired, who was somewhat interested in finding out just how much skill this potential acquaintance might have.

Gabe's smirk widened as he caught the look of surprise working its way onto Ramon's face. He forgot that human's probably don't often see teens with blue hair with surprisingly large amounts of athletic skill. He was also sure that this guy probably had expected the soccer ball to blast him away, yeah, like Gabe was gonna let that happen. He caught the eye roll as well which almost made him want to kick the ball in the other direction, but thankfully, he dropped the ball to his feet and lightly passed it back to Ramon.
He listened carefully to Ramon's attempted Japanese. Due to the fact that Darian's original Canadian-ness as well as Kanna's Canadian-ness usually meant that Gabe was hearing English, he almost forgot that they were actually in Japan, though, this guy didn't look all that Japanese.
In English he spoke, "Hey, I speak English and Japanese. If that's any, uh, easier?" he explained.
Though the guy was right that the kick wasn't the most precise of all shots in soccer.
It was then that Ramon's curiosity got the better of him as he started inquiring where Gabe had learned his soccer skills. He pondered that one for a moment, he couldn't exactly say he was just a Digimon disguised as a human with unnatural athletic skills right? Could he pass it off as a gift? Do humans even get gifts?
"Nah, not for a school. A friend of mine and I just play a lot of sports in our spare time. I guess I've just learned over time." Gabe explained in a semi truthful way. In all honesty, five years ago he wouldn't have even known what soccer was, so..he could say Darian taught him all he knows, right?
"I mean, I'm good enough to beat him every time, but we're both not really the greatest player." he explained.
After this quick explanation though, he figured it was time to bring the conversation back towards this new guy before he started asking too many questions. Whether young or old, it was always a bad thing to answer too many questions from people you don't know when you're trying to be disguised.
"And you? The next world cup soccer star, correct?" he jabbed with another smirk.

Ramon let out a breath when he heard that this stranger spoke both English and Japanese. Though he wasn't fluent at either language, he knew his English was at least more competent. For a moment, Ramon wondered whether or not being bi or tri langual was common in this part of the world. He remembered hearing snippets of information every now and then about how important it was to speak multiple languages, but he'd never though of it's true practicality until just recently.
After listening to a short explanation as well as another slight jab, Ramon found himself intrigued. Not being taught by a coach or someone else of higher status with a lot of training was odd to him, but only because it was something he'd never been through. So far Ramon liked this new person a little, their wise cracker attitude reminded him of some of the other players back home. "Not the best, eh amigo? Well, I'd still call 'jhu decent at least. As for me, 'jhu got it right, senor! I'll be the best player with enough training!" Ramon proudly declared. Ramon dropped his soccer ball, then waited for it to stop completely before he went into a trick. Deftly using his feet, he quickly maneuvered the ball onto a position where it rested upon his right shoe, before he launched it up higher, around the level of his head. Once it reached a suitable height, he would bounce it off of his knee, into his left hand.
Ramon was glad he could at least still control the ball well enough, despite being somewhat nervous in his new surrounding. One thing he needed to set straight was proper introductions, after all, he still didn't know this guy's name.
"I still don't happen to know ch'yur name, I'm Ramon, and I hail from Mexico!"
Ramon would then extend his arm for a handshake, with an energetic and cocky smile on his face.

What a strange idea of exercise. Throwing balls at nets! Sure, they ran a lot to get there. But even that was inly when they were in groups and this human was alone. Once more, the human hit the net. To UFADO this sort of behaviour was despitefull. Waisting your time in this type of exercises and a perfectly good net, which could easily be used for fishing purpouses was being used to throw balls into it! Such wastes could be on a perfect world. Then the human missed the target. It happened now and then, and he never looked happy. Was the point of it to train aim? No, it couldn`t be. What would the human be training for? Nothing UFADO could think of. The human left to fetch the ball and UFADO followed, hidden in the trees. Another human appeared to his sight. Something was strange about this one, however, UFADO could feel something about it, he just didn`t know what it was yet. The humans chatted in strange languages. At first UFADO did not know them and the words left him confused and frustated for not knowing what the intriging humans were saying. "Sistem Adaptation" He intinctively said, feeling his data change. Then he managed to understand the words of the humans. He now also knew what the feeling was about. If his memory did not lie to him (and it usually did not) this was a disguised digimon. If it was a digimon, then it might have a tamer, which was something UFADO was highly interested in. Perhaps he would find the pure heart he seeked.
"Greetings." He said from the tree. He decided to begin with something pleasant, to get the human and the disguiced digimon in a good mood "You two seem to be strong and to have good aim. You appear to be good players of....checking database..."soccer". Please, do introduce me in your art."

Gabe was beginning to enjoy this guy. He didn't seem too uptight and he seemed to be handling Gabe's usual quips and smart ass remarks rather well for someone who had just met him. Gabe was beginning to think that he should just prowl around the human world more, interacting with humans that didn't want to kill him and Darian was actually quite entertaining. Hell, maybe Darian and him could actually take a bit of a break from the Digital World....nah, not likely.
Gabe's smirk lessened into a smile at Ramon's compliment towards his decency at soccer, then outright laughed when he confirmed his accusation that he was going to be the next world cup all star. He then proceeded to divert into a trick of own, managing to get the ball from the ground, to his head, to his hand, impressive. Afterwards he finally introduced himself as Ramon, hailing from Mexico. Well, that was a hell of an introduction.
Reaching out to grasp Ramon's hand, Gabe introduced himself, "The name's Gabe, from uh...Canada?" he said uncertainly .
That was when the new voice entered the premise. Gabe's nose twitched out of its laziness as it picked up the obvious scent of a Digimon. It wasn't a particularly high leveled one but still, any Digimon could be dangerous. Gabe had to restrain himself from instantly arming himself in a Digivolved form, but he couldn't do that with Ramon around. Controlling himself, he let out a deep breath, keeping up his human disguise. He couldn't cause any havoc without Darian around anyways.
Doing a quick assumption of where about this voice could have came from, he glanced towards a nearby tree. The Digimon seemed friendly enough at least, but the whole 'checking database' thing definitely clarified to Gabe that this was indeed a Digimon.
Deciding to get the Digimon at least in clear sight, he spoke, "How about we show you after you come out into the open?" Gabe stated, glaring daggers into the tree branches.

Oh wow, this guy had a surprisingly strong grip. Ramon listened intently as his hand drifted casually back to his side after Gabe spoke. So this person was from North America, apparently? Ramon himself had never traveled north of his home country, though he was aware that the other two nations to the north were fairly busy places. There was only really one thing that struck him as odd, that being that Gabe seemed hesitant when he spoke his country's name. Ramon decided not to think much of it, perhaps he just wasn't comfortable telling newer people where he was from?
"So, Gabe eh? S' pleasure, I only been here a few days." he spoke.
For a moment, Ramon considered asking Gabe if he had time to play a round of one on one, however, a new voice broke the air. The voice came from nearby, for sure, though it sounded strange to the Latin American's ears. Why did it sound so... alien? Was someone hiding nearby with a voice changing device or something like that? It wouldn't have surprised him to see things like that being sold in Japan, though he was curious, none the less. Noticing Gabe's gaze at a nearby tree, Ramon traced it and his view eventually came onto the same tree his blue haired amigo was staring at.
From a distance, Ramon wasn't able to see much of anything within the shadows of the trees, though some of the light streaming through the top cast an interesting shape if nothing else. In his mind, Ramon surmised it was probably some prankster who got their kicks off of scaring people fresh off the planes. Japan had a reputation for being a somewhat weird place, if nothing else. Ramon rolled his eyes before walking forward toward the tree, oblivious to any possible oddities that could have occurred.
" Tchyah, ese, why don't you climb down? If chu wanna play, I gots' know what you look like. No need to be some anime character dho, how about 'chu lose the voice changer?" Ramon inquired.

The diguiced digimon was alarmed by UFADO`s presence. He could understand, as if there was a fight, the digimon`s cover would be blown. But UFADO had no such concern. His idea was to be seen as the digimon he was, well, a more kind and friendly version of himself, so he could persuade the perfect heart to assist him when he found it. Of course, there was that problem: he didn`t know where to find it. That`s why he was in the human world: to search for clues. The problem was all the weird ideas the humans had stuck in their heads which UFADO had a hard time understanding. Even his database,hard-wired to be able to attain information about everything, was unable to retrieve information over those ideas. However, if there was one thing both human and digimon disguiced as human seemed to want was that UFADO came down from the tree. He had arledy decided he would play nice. "Ok, then, I will..." he simply stated, before jumping out. In the process the drill on the end of his tail bashed against some branches, breaking them and causing them to fall into three of UFADO`s eyes. He had more, in fact his whole head was covered in eyes, and even the ones hit would recover before he hit the ground. As he fel, UFADO got on his knees. Then he stood, awaiting the reaction of the other two members of their little dialogue. "Well, now I believe you could show me your art, Ramon, Gabe. My name is UFADO, I believe I should tell you since I arledy know your names. You speak loudly to my hearing."

So this Ramon guy had only been here for a few days. That brought up a few questions of course, was he a tourist, new here, foreign exchange student? Of course, with the current situation of a Digimon in a tree, he didn't really have the opportunity to ask any of these questions. Gabe really wasn't in the mood for a fight right now, in fact, it would be a totally bad idea for Gabe to suddenly wolf out in the middle of Miyashita. Of course, if this Digimon decided to digivolve, well then Gabe would unfortunately have no choice.
Gabe smirked at Ramon's comment though. A voice changer was soon going to be the least of his worries if he was easily scared. Though, the Digimon's voice was strange, it seemed so..prerecorded. Gabe continued to keep his fists clenched at his side, though he inched ahead of Ramon a step or two just in case he was about to be on protection duty. On command and with an audible statement that he was coming down, the Digimon in the trees appeared as well as several branches that came down with it.
He sort of cringed at the sight of three of the Digimon's eyes being poked. Though that was during the Digimon's fall, the only reason Gabe saw it was cause he had pretty keen eyesight, maybe Ramon wouldn't even catch that. Strangely, after the Digimon's reveal he was pretty straight to the point, wanting to see more soccer.
Yeah, Gabe wasn't having none of that.
"You're a Digimon? What are you doing in the human world? Especially with no disguise at all." Gabe said with a sense of urgency.
Digimon roaming the Human World without a tamer and without a cause weren't good things. They could cause trouble, they could attract DatS (which he was partially second in command of), and worse - they could hurt humans. Definitely not good.

Ramon paused as the “Digimon” as Gabe said, came down from its perch atop the tree in front of them. Ramon had a puzzled, yet inquisitive look on his face as he tried to figure out just what he was looking at. This…. Whatever it was, had eyeballs all over its body, and strange sort of skin that was far too realistic looking to be some kind of cosplay. Ramon turned his head slightly, though he still kept his gaze on the Digimon in front of him in order to talk to Gabe. In a hushed tone mixed with uncertainty, and a pinch of anxiety, he broke a question to Gabe.
” So.. are things like these common around here?
Something that bothered Ramon was that Gabe’s tone had changed dramatically once the strange creature had revealed itself. Aside from the fact that what Ramon was looking at was most likely NOT, something man made, the creature’s eyes were slowly beginning to unnerve him. He was positive this wasn’t any kind of animal he’d learned about in biology or zoology, the thing looked like it had climbed out of the pit of one of China’s polluted bays. Perhaps even stranger, this thing spoke English, albeit in a strange voice that creeped Ramon out.
In this rush of emotion, Ramon almost forgot something that the weird thing had asked him. The thought somehow slipped through Ramon’s initial feelings of the creature, and he found his inner sportsman clawing for a response. The thing… looked so disfigured… could it even kick properly, or run fast enough to keep up with a ball? While it was true a complete stranger had earlier managed to catch his ball, that was another person, not some strange inter-dimensional; at least he assumed, being.
”So…. ch, ‘chu want to learn football? I… don’t even think ‘chu’d be able to excel at it, a….amigo.” Ramon stuttered, not being able to help feeling weirded out by talking to something that looked like it belonged in an RPG.

Both of them seemed to be confused and defensive. It reminded UFADO of his first day in the digital world. Of course, this time he wasn`t about to turn a village into raw data, but was trying to attain information. "I am here to learn." Ufado began "Why would I need a disguice? I enjoy their reactions. They tend to be so different from one to the next. I just wish one of them could actually answer the questions I have, but oh well..." Then the actual human asked a tourist sort of question "Digimon? Well, we`re common here, but mostly in our own world. There are some of us all over this human world of yours, but many of us try to keep themselves disguiced. Because of DATS." Suddenly UFADO had an idea which might get him a more chilled attitude from the real human "...language setting swapping...Me encantaría aprender a jugar al fútbol de ti, gran humano." UFADO bowed. Would his stragety work? Was it usable upon other humans? Would they be pleased if he told them the truth about the disguiced digimon or disgusted? All this and many more questions assaulted UFADO`s head, struggling for his attention. But first he would have befriend this humans. Only then would he have the chance to ask them the questions that might lead him to the perfect heart.

What a day, Darian was off somewhere else in the city with not even a text to at least ease a little bit of Gabe's worries for his tamer, Gabe met this new guy with a love for soccer who was about to be roller coastered into a world that well, he couldn't recommend for everybody anymore, and lastly, this multi-eyed, seemingly careless Digimon was gallivanting around the park asking to learn how to play soccer.
Seriously, what the hell?
Gabe looked over at Ramon as he asked his question. Were things like this guy common? Well, seeing as how apparently every thirteen plus year old kid on every street corner had a Digivice nowadays it seemed, and Digimon had been appearing in the human world for at least five or six years now, yup...yup this was pretty normal.
"Unfortunately dude, things like this are what I see almost every day." Gabe stated.
Surprisingly, Ramon had been taking this whole thing well. Though, he had a feeling if Gabe himself had also revealed himself to actually be a Digimon that that may cause problems. I mean, who wouldn't freak out if they found out they've been talking to a disguised creature that could shoot burning flames of ice. Gabe pondered the idea that maybe Ramon just thought it was a really strange animal. Though the thing was talking, yeah that idea was out.
Returning his attention to UFADO, Gabe scoffed to himself at the Digimon's inquiry of why they would need a disguise. Enjoying a reaction of possible terror from the many humans that still don't know about Digimon wasn't the type of atmosphere the city needed. Especially with recent Digimon attacks like the destruction of the Entertainment District still being so fresh on everyone's mind.
Though then the Digimon mentioned DatS. Ironically enough, Gabe was one half of the second in command of DatS. And seeing as how DatS wasn't the kind of company that went around and told everyone of their presence, Gabe was growing suspicious. Usually Digimon that knew of DatS were running from something, were planning on doing something, or just really weren't supposed to be in the Human World.
"Y'know, most Digimon around these parts don't mention DatS so openly like that. Might get caught, y'know?
The rest of the scene seemed to play out mostly for Ramon's favour. Though Gabe was definitely surprised to see the sudden language change. That wasn't a Digimon trait, not even they could randomly change their language at a whim. Just what type of Digimon was this guy?

Ramon's eyes widened as he heard the news from Gabe, so as it turns out, it wasn't very uncommon to meet strange creatures on a... did he say daily basis? Ramon found himself wishing that the schools around here had used a different kind of advertising, "Come check out our lovely campuses, oh, and there may or may not be weird creatures from the bottom of the ocean that want to creep you out!" Ramon was becoming increasingly defense, perhaps because the creature's appearance was unnerving him too much. Granted, it was his very first time ever being in close proximity to something so strange, despite it's behavior. Something else that kept worming its way into Ramon's conscience was mention of this thing, DATS, they called it?
Gabe's comment about not many Digimon talking about it further added to the mystery. If this was supposed to be some super secret thing not many people knew about, then how did Gabe know of it? A sea of questions swirled around Ramon's head, and he wasn't quite sure which ones to seek answers to at the current time. Ramon took a breath and tried to gain a semblance of a picture about the situation. There was a strange thing in front of him that looked like nightmare fuel. Someone he'd been talking with and whom he assumed was just an average joe with blue hair could be connected to something very secretive that normal people aren't supposed to know about.
And here he'd only been expecting a normal day of practice.
When the Digimon spoke Spanish, Ramon almost did a double take, this thing suddenly knew a language it assumed Ramon spoke? Ramon scratched his head, admittedly curious about how this thing could adapt so quickly, was learning languages on the fly an ability this thing had? Either way, the fact that it spoke Spanish didn't do much to make Ramon friendly to it, rather, it made him distrust it more than before. Ramon was curious whether or not Gabe would know of a way to get this strange thing to go away, although something that this... UFADO, had mentioned which left Ramon curious was that there were apparently other "Digimon" in disguise as well? Ramon's eyes hit the ground momentarily as he pondered this. If these monsters could walk around as normal people, who was to say any of his teammates weren't Digimon as well?
" S' pretty convenient that 'chu jus' so happen to speak my native language, feo. If football was something 'chu wanted to learn, should 'a stayed in the tree." he said in a defensive tone.
Paranoia was beginning to set in, and Ramon was starting to shut off more things around him because of it. He still trusted Gabe far more than the creature in front of him, though that mostly stemmed from his assumed knowledge that Gabe was a human. Ramon's face exerted a very stressed out look to it, and his legs were tight and ready to bolt in case this thing tried anything weird.

So...language change did not help, and in fact led the human into a defensive stance...corrections would have to be made. "...configuración de intercambio de idioma...There`s no need to be in defensive.Hm... Perhaps honesty is your thing? Okay, I don`t really care about soccer, I was just trying to befriend you by appealing to your interests and habits. But it seems you humans do such things without the emotional binding degree I was looking for. The truth is I have some questions I need the answers for, but only humans can answer them... And since I am being so honest arledy, I might as well tell you this: DATS is very secretive, and good at hiding their info and all, but my creators can Pierce it. I am the proof of it. Where do you think I just got the information on how to speak Spanish? No "firewall" can stop my endless adaptation. And if you are thinking about calling DATS right now and comming after me, know this: I have beaten death itself. One oponent remains to face me... but not for long..." UFADO told them. Then he reached to the small sack which he carried around and removed it`s content: a shard of Omnimon`s sword. A proof of his strenght. A reminder of his quest for vengeance against Yggdrasil and the Royal Knights.
