Nokk had a really good day in the waters around whitewater, the SeaWraithmon catching many more fish than she normally did and many different types than she expected. Many were rare or strange fish and she for the most part was able to sell them for quite a lot of bits! So she had the strange option now to buy something that she wanted.
But the question for the large digimon was what? She didn’t really ever think about that. Did she want a way of getting around on land? Some clothes maybe? She already had a holosuit if she ever ended up in the human world thanks to one of her other friends.
So she would spend a good amount of time wandering the streets, peaking into different shops and mulling over what they had in them. Some were interesting, some were weird. There was even one store that had nothing but books. The self same store that the leviathan was curious about. She never had been taught how to read, yet she still understood what the words said. Maybe it was something left over from her parents or just daft luck?
She’d step into the store much the chagrin of the shopkeeper. She was big and many of the books were too small for her hands; she’d look around for a bit and then leave. Somewhat unsatisfied given the opportunities she was lacking.
So with the book store down where should she go next? The sun was still high in the sky and the city was fairly bustling… She’d sit on a bench and look around. Her head still easily above the crowd of shorter mons save for the occasional champion or ultimate going about their business.
”Nokk should figure something out hrr…”
She’d let out a deep rumble, buying a few kebabs off of a passing cart. She looked pensive and unsure of herself. Then again for someone with such a big smile on their face almost all the time this look would probably just be a slight difference from the usual...

While Ys was a nice and cozy place for our heroes to call home in the Digital World, what with a gigantic dome that protected them from potential threats from hitting the ancient modern city, sometimes, the nippy cold wasn't exactly the most comfortable to relax at, even when the threat of a nasty blizzard or two screwing them over was practically nonexistent at best
But thankfully, Kenny's fully upgraded Digiport could allow him and Skadi to go almost anywhere they pleased. So why not drop by Whitewater that day and enjoy the warm summer breeze instead, all with the push of a button?
And so, our duo were sitting on a bench, having some delicious waffle cone ice cream, rainbow for Kenny, choc-mint for Skadi. It just felt so... nice out there, no dangers to worry about, no worries to think about, no need to hold up any standards of professionalism, just nothing. It was those sort of days that both tamer and Digimon appreciated. A good balance of upholding the peace between the two worlds and simply chilling out without a care in the world.
Or at least, until Skadi spotted something nearby; a giant, bunyip-like Digimon, dangling an equally large shark-like creature looming near their tail without a single care in the world. She quickly gave a tug on Kenny's shirt and, the moment she managed to grab his attention, pointed at the hulking beast walking by, "Hey, Kenny, look at that."
Kenny himself was quick to notice, squinting in surprise as he looked at the 'bunyip', "Yeah, I've just noticed. Just... what's that odd shark thing dangling near their butt?" His focus fell more upon the aforementioned predator, "Shouldn't they be all like 'Oh noes, a giant shark is chasing my ass' or something? I swear, I'm never going to understand this place fully."
Skadi just pat him on the back with a chuckle, "It's OK, Kenny. The Digital World is still full of surprises after all. At least they're not rampaging everywhere and destroying everything." The slightly bemused Kenny gave a chuckle back. It seemed not many Digimon minded giants walking among them as long as none of them were causing any amounts of havoc in any capacity.
Especially if said giant didn't mind the shark's jaws seemingly attracted to their ass.

No it didn’t seem to her that she had any good idea; even eating these kebabs did nothing for her other than quell her monstrous appetite. She’d huff softly to herself and pick at her teeth with one of the kebab sticks that didn’t break thank to the power behind her bite. While she didn’t have any attacks to speak of her claws or bite had one hell of a kick behind them.
The massive creature mulled over the various stores that lined the streets of the shopping district; or at least the ones that she could immediately see. She’d crane her head to stare down the street; while she only had half a field of vision it wasn’t hard to pick up on something else.
Someone had been staring at her; at least a pair of someones. A cute somewhat small looking goat thing and a human. The first human that the mon had actually the chance to interact with without them being too far away or being on a boat. She’d blink dubiously and pinch herself to check if she was dreaming.
”Ow. Guess Nokk isn’t dreaming…”
Today was like a fever dream she supposed; given that she had made quite a haul and that she now had the chance to interact with what some would call fleshlings. Her species as a whole; even though there were only a few recorded instances of varied wraithmons [though she had no idea there were others] were rare enough as it is. But to this sea creature a human was as rare as you could get!
So she’d stand up from the bench that she had taken to sitting on, easily dwarfing any of the mons that were around her. Causing a few of the smaller ones to scurry as they realized just how damn big nokk was. The large champion lumbering with a curious look on her face towards the duo. She’d stop just out of arms reach and tilt her head, leaning down to take a look at the two. Her single eye shifting between the two of them. Her big doofy smile was easy to see and equally as friendly as it ever was. And without saying too much she’d give them a small pleasant wave.
”Hello Fur-goat and Fleshy-human! Nokk could not help but see that you were staring at nokk! Does she have something in her teeth?”
As to increase the chance of saying no or yes; nokks smile would grow at least three times over. The huge shark like creature was by far probably the friendliest thing on the street. Even if she looked the part of a bun yip or a terrible underwater sea creature...

Maybe in hindsight, Kenny and Skadi should have kept their mouth shut, because their little observation actually attracted the attention of the shark-bunyip thing. Thankfully, the only thing they had to worry about was them accidentally crushing them with their body and/or their magic floating mutant shark. At least the smaller Digimon had the right idea to scurry from a giant who could crush them by mistake.
They were like ants to them.
Besides, at least the shark-bunyip-mermaid thing didn't look too upset about either's observatory comments about them. Rather, they could at least thank their lucky stars that said thing seemed at least curious about them as they, calling themselves Nokk, walked up to the two and waved at them like an old friend. And the odd look on their face didn't look (intentionally) frightening to them, but rather innocent and childlike. Still, it was better to err on the side of caution with a giantess and their magic shark.
"Uh, no." Kenny started, twiddling his fingers nervously at first, gazing up at Nokk's gigantic frame looming over them, "We were just sitting around, having some ice cream, just looking around here and stuff." That was a lie and he bloody knew it. Not that he was going to up and admit it. Still, Skadi played along, nodding her head in agreement with her tamer.
"Yeah, we just... uh... never really seen a Digimon of your kind around here before, surprisingly enough." Skadi admitted, also looking at the giantess towering over her, "Do you come here often?" She tilted her head curiously. How was it possible to miss a gigantic bunyip Digimon like Nokk so easily? Maybe she wielded camouflage like a pro, or maybe she just called the waters nearby her home.
It was just a guess.

The past couple of days hadn't been particularly fun for this Wizardmon. If the memory problems weren't bad enough, now she had to deal with her sleeping issues, if one could really call "waking up in a different location/world every single time you fall asleep" something that mundane. True, she had been dealing with that for as long as she could remember but...well, she couldn't remember too far back.
All she was certain of was that this was most certainly NOT normal.
As such, she had found herself trying to find some sort of cure or solution for her...whatever it was. In the mean time, she was happy with finding ways to keep herself away for long periods of time, if only to pretend she still had some control over herself.
Well...that's a lie, she was pretty miserable about it, but it beated letting random chance decide her fate. This was probably why she now found herself walking, or rather stumbling along the streets of Whitewater, holding tightly onto what had to be her 10th cup of coffee of the day, her twitchy, coffeine infused movements making it almost impossible to walk straight.
She did her best not to bump into any of the vague shapes and shadows in her way through the streets of Whitewater, cursing under her breath every time the contents of her cup were close to spill. As she stumbled deeper into the city, she noticed what appeared to be an abnormally large shape standing on the middle of the street. The hell? Did a mountain suddenly grow in here?
Regardless Hel tried her damnest to change her current collission course and veered to her side...only to collide head first against the unmistakeable shape of a bench (she knew them well, she had been sleeping on those for a while now). While the contents of the cup managed to avoid (or at least she hoped so) the two individuals on the bench, the same couldn't be said about her hat, though at least the coffee wasn't nearly hot enough to do any damage to her head.
"God fucking---" She blurted out as she fell on top of the bench and on top of something...well quite soft and warm actually. Resisting the temptation of falling asleep on top of what most likely had to be a pretty annoyed mon she quietly picked herself up and away from the comfortable shape. "S-sorry about that, I'm a bit of a mess...I-I'll pay you the laundromat..." She would mutter somewhat sheepishly, her brain too scattered and doozy to really handle confrontation at the moment.

Nokk didn’t really care what they had to say about her body; she was comfortable with it and even if she had overheard she had more noticed that they were staring at her. The large digimon had a huge smile on her face and was rather happy to interact with someone [or rather a few someones] new! She’d tilt her head to one side as kenny spoke; sitting around and having some ice cream? That sounded like something that the giant would like. Ice cream! Was there a vendor nearby that she could get a scoop or twelve from?
Her musing was cut short when skadi brought up the fact that they hadn’t seen a digimon of her kind before. Nokk puffed out her chest proudly and gave it a single thump.
”Nokk is the only SeaWraithmon that nokk knows of! No one else is one. But nokk knows there are other wraithmon type digimon out there. Like this fellow made out of eyes or this supposedly super galaxy looking one in terminus yes yes! Nokk comes to whitewater about once or twice a week to sell fish; but most of the time she doesn’t make enough to buy anything from the shopping district other than some minor stuff. Today’s haul was really really really good so nokk has many shiny cubes!”
The big mon was getting more and more excited as she talked, even providing the baggy she kept all those shiny glowing bits in. It was a sizeable bag and the bits seemed to be mostly full in it. To kenny and skadi it wouldn’t seem like much but to nokk it was the most she ever had! A couple thousand at most.
Her excitement and attention was cut short; or rather redirected when there was this wizard looking digimon that flopped onto skadi. Coffee going all over her hat. The large mon blinked a few times as the wizardmon mumbled a bunch. Swearing and mumbling an apology. The large creature stuffed her baggy away into her tail and then reached down to brush off the hat that the other was wearing.
”Little wizard got brown liquid all over her hat!”
The leviathan leaned this way or that and if hel wasn’t careful she would find herself being picked up to be looked over. There was nothing malicious coming from nokk and the giant looked to brush the liquid off of her hat in the meantime.
”It’s a nice hat; but Nokk doesn’t think that you can laundromat a fluffy goat. Is wizard okay? Seems mumbly muttery to Nokk.”

Naturally, it was hard for either to ignore the massive girth of the monstrous bunyip Digimon looming down upon them, but it hadn't escaped their attention either that said bunyip had this sort of childlike innocence coming out of her. Indeed, Skadi's simple question had lead into Nokk happily explaining herself, and proudly boasting about her achievements, like a little kid to their mum.
But as she explained away about the 'Wrathmon-type Digimon', already Kenny found himself raising an eyebrow in surprise, and Skadi's ears gave a small twitch. The 'fellow made out of eyes'? The same fellow who's number of eyes barely lost out to his massive rows of teeth? The fast and not-quite furious way that Nokk kept going on and on, taking no chance whatsoever to stop and breathe for even a second, made it nigh impossible for either to ask before she just changed the subject towards her earnings.
That, in it of herself, made Skadi look up with interest, like if Nokk was dangling jingling keys in front of her face... unintentionally drawing her attention away from the coffee infused Wizardmon stumbling towards them, or rather, her. Before she could even say anything, she bleated in surprise as everything quickly went dark and something, or rather, someone, heavy fell upon her entire body, the only thing preventing her from being crushed entirely being her sheer woolly bulk.
Naturally, fight-or-flight responses forced Kenny to flinch in shock away from the Wizardmon.
"Mmmmrph... mrrrph..." were the only sounds that could be heard from underneath the Wizardmon('s body) as she tried in vain to shove her off. If there was any consolation either faced, that hat and/or body spared them from the coffee. Still, as she pulled herself off the hapless Valaismon, the latter took the moment to brush herself off, before turning over to the apologising Wizardmon.
"N-no, no, it's OK," Skadi stuttered, raising her arms as she looked up to the Wizardmon in worry, "Just... are you OK, miss?" Kenny, recovering from his brief flinch, simply nodded towards her. Only for Nokk to pick the Wizardmon off effortlessly just to take a good look. Despite Nokk's well-founded concerns, her innocent nature probably didn't tell that maybe picking up a dazed and confused individual wasn't the best way to deal with them.
Quickly, Kenny got up to approach Nokk, standing a little clear of the liquid she brushed off the hat, "Um, Nokk, I, uh, don't think she'd like that, honestly. She's just feeling a little under the weather. Can you please put her down, for her own sake, please?" Probably not the best way to word that, but his people pleaser nature had overridden him once more, telling him to step in and help.
If only Ryouta was there to help him here...

Had she had complete awareness of her surroundings and situation (read: not be as sleep deprived as she currently was) she might have felt anything resembling embarrasment at having fallen on top the poor goat. As it stood she was just a little bit to tired to care, but even so that didn't stop her from feeling the smallest modicum of regret over bumping into a stranger like this.
"Wha...yeah, sure. I'm good just...sleep..." She mumbled out a response at the male voice coming from the general direction of the bench, before giving a small nod of her head, half apologetic, half about to pass out. She would have offered a more formal apology, but then she'd suddenly feel the ground under her feet cave in, gravity seemingly no longer applying to her as she found herself seemingly being flung over the other two. Alarm bells rang in her head for a moment until it hit her: she was just being lifted over by someone far larger than she was. Maybe the mountain from before now had grown arms.
And a mouth.
"Nhh..." She would merely let out half hearted, vaguely annoyed mumbles and similar sounds to Nokk, not really comfortable with the position she had been thrust into but simply too freaking tired to be confrontational or even fully voice her feelings. Luckily the human boy below seemed to take pity on her, and asked the large digimon to put the somewhat delirious witch down.
"...not that I don't appreciate the sentiment but please maybe listen to your friend down there?" She added once she found the strenght to speak coherent sentences again.

Nokk tilted her head this way or that as the two seemed to recognize one such mentioned individual that she spoke of. Was it the one made out of galaxies? Or the one of eyes? She didn’t know but she did pretty much skip past that part! The leviathan would have considered rolling back to that part if it was not for Hel’s timely intervention.
”Nokk doesn’t usually see this sort of thing happen all too often…”
The SeaWraithmon blinked slowly as she inspected the wizardmon in her hands; they looked beyond tired and if nokk didn’t know any better likely were using coffee to stay awake for some reason or another. She’d huff a bit and look to the human.
”Is it really safe to let pretty Wizard friend wander like this? She could get hurt if she fell on someone like a gundramon or knife hands mon!”
She didn’t actually know what the knife handed digimon was but there wasn’t really something that would have convinced her otherwise immediately up until… Well hel addressed her and asked her to listen to the human. The leviathan sighed a bit and would slowly set the wizard down on the bench now that there was room.
”Nokk gets a little excited sometimes. Sorry wizard friend. Mmm. Well it’s probably a good idea if we get wizard friend some coffee to replace the one that went all over the place yes yes?”
She’d tilted her head and then after a few moments… Nokk flicked her ears and made an annoyed face as she realized something really important.
”Nokk didn’t ask Sheep friend and human friend for their names. She also didn’t ask wizard friend for theirs either. What is Sheep, Human and Wizard friends names”
Nokk of course being beyond eloquent with her words eventually pounded her chest with a fist.
”Nokk is nokk. Nokk is also a seawraithmon. But nokk said that to human and sheep already! Yes yes!"

While the innocent sounding Nokk's heart was clearly in the right place, perhaps lifting the drunk Wizardmon off terra firma in a less than ideal state perhaps wouldn't exactly be the best idea. She did have a good point about wandering around drunk, yes, but would she really appreciate accidentally ending up with a belly covered in sick? Thankfully, the Wizardmon did encourage Nokk to let her down, and as she would lay her hapless buddy back onto her bench, Skadi scooting over to give her some room, Kenny smiled up at the massive bunyip, "Thank you."
As he got back on the bench next to the Wizardmon, he gently put a comforting hand on her shoulder to help ease her in, "Sorry about that little hubbub there. Just... is there anything we can do to help you?" Skadi would eagerly look up and nod to her as well, her earlier trouble being nearly suffocated underneath forgotten. While Nokk's offer to pay for a replacement coffee was a nice thought, Kenny would just wave it off with a hand, "Ah, don't worry about it, man. We do have some disposable income; we can pay for the coffee ourselves."
Oh yeah, in their little fiasco, they did forget to introduce themselves, and with Nokk first to introduce herself, Kenny let out a small chuckle before he started, "I'm Kenny O'Hara. Member of KIZNA, budding software developer, full-time dork and Tamer."
"And I'm Skadi!" The Valaismon spoke up, "I'm his partner! And his best friend too!"
"And a bit of a troublemaker too," Kenny joked with a chuckle, "She's gotten me into a... fair few embarrassing situations, I'll admit. If I explained it all, we'd be here all day."
