"You went on a MISSION? With a HUMAN? ..Humans?! Multiple of them??" Tomi perked up surprised at these facts. The only actual surprising part of all that was that Omen had gone with them. There was a light twinge of guilt that she couldn't have been there to fulfill her self-imposed sisterly obligation to protect her sibling, but again she resolved that Omen could take care than herself. "I don't think I've ever met a human. I was told it's not so bad partnering up with one but.. Mm, I dunno." The pup shook her head. Whether or not a partnership with a human was best for this Kolongmon but considering who her parents were she sort of came packed with a genetic pre-disposition to prefer to keep her independence.
She would calm down a bit after that, nodding as she lsitened to Makoto's advice on Digivolution. She seemed to understand, if only because that last part reminded her of something she had heard about one of her mom's. Or was it both of them? One couldn't expect the pup to remember, honestly. "I'm glad Omen is doing okay at least.. It'll be really great to be around her again~!" Tomina barked excitedly, her short tail doing it's absolute best to wiggle at it's top speed. Food, family, additional family. Things were looking up for this pup.

At Tomina's enthusiasm over Makoto having met a human, the fox couldn't help a warm laugh - stepping away from the stove for just long enough to pat her on the head. "Yes; two humans, to be exact." They'd elaborate. "A couple of perfectly nice young ladies - even if the digimon partner to one of them wasn't the most pleasant of individuals." Makoto would sigh with this - but they certainly held no ill will towards Yuko, for Jokah's behavior. And Nanami, even if she didn't seem to be the brightest human sometimes, still had a good heart.
Anyways... "Partnering with a human is certainly a big decision to make - but I think it's also worth stating that you don't have to rush yourself on it, either. You have all the time in the world to decide if you wish to pair up with another human." They'd reassure Tomina, as they made their way back to the stove, continuing "And of course, if you decide you want to remain solo like me or your sister, that is just as fine and dandy as well, dear."
"Buuuut, if you do want to meet a human, I could introduce you to Toki." Makoto offered, with a wry smile. "He's a human who - instead of relying on a digimon partner - shares a bond with the spirit of an ancient digimon, which allows him to turn into a digimon if he so chooses." That one might go over Tomi's head just a little bit - but hopefully she'd at least understand the gist of 'a human who can turn into a digimon'.
Nonetheless, Tomi's enthusiasm was as adorable as always; and Makoto would happily chuckle. "And I'm sure Omen will be plenty happy to see you, too, dear." They'd respond - turning their attention more towards the stove, now that the eggs were starting to get properly cooked through.
They'd once more go through the same routine of putting these sandwiches together - a bit of mayo, bacon, cheese, egg, and the like; and this time Makoto had the forethought to make a good number of them, so that both they and Tomina both could actually sit down to eat. Once Tomi's sandwiches were put together proper though, they'd be set before the little pup - whilst Makoto sat next to her, their own sandwiches in tow. "There you go, darling. Remember, these ones are going to be hot at first, too." They'd gently remind the pup, just to be careful.
