Team Name: The Hive of Heroes
Team Ideal: Justice
The Hive of Heroes is based upon one singular simple but impossible ideal, that no one, Digimon or human should need to live in injustice and fear. That all beings have a right to be happy, safe and free and that anyone who would encroach upon those rights must be stopped before they can do too much harm to the innocents of the world. People and digimon from every background and walk of life brought together to defend and preserve what is good and right and just. They stand as an icon, a beacon that anyone from anywhere can call upon when the going gets rough. When in doubt, the Hive of Heroes is always in your corner.
Team Ability:
The Hive has one simple goal whenever they approach any scenario: protect the innocent, defend the weak. When the heroes of the Hive of assembled they become stronger in pursuit of that goal, gaining an increase in their defense as they stave off attacks and take blows meant not only for the victims stood behind their lines but also for one another. The more of them their are, the more interlinked they become and the stronger this defensive bonus grows allowing them to survive attacks together that would have obliterated each of them alone. Standing as a physical bulwark against the forces of evil and their plans for the defiling of the homes and livelihoods of the people. This interlocking desire is their greatest strength, their ability to pool their many different and fractured abilities together in pursuit of a singular common goal makes them stronger together than any of them could be apart. The whole being stronger as one, greater than the sum of its parts as they fight and toil for the impossible ideals of justice.
Base Location:
As with the heroic base of any team such as this, their lair would be a place that stands as a symbol and a beacon. Something that can serve as an illustration in and of itself for the powerful ideas that they represent. This place would be the Digital World Shelter located in the Mainframe Hills of the Eastern Timberlands. Not only does it already act as a charitable outreach for those in need, thus allowing for easy contact for those in trouble but it is also an already established home base for many of the team's members, with infrastructure in place to allow for the care and rehabilitation of victims who may have been caught in the crossfire of some powerful bully's schemes.
The top floor of the shelter serves as their dedicated base with training areas, archives, trophy rooms and bunks for each of the members to use as they see fit with only the team's symbol engraved in gold on the front door marking the floor as anything outside of the ordinary. Inside would sit a round table where each of the members could be met as equals to bring motions forward to be voted upon by all members equally.
A training gym would be provided that would allow for members to maintain their physical skills and to practice the powerful attacks that they are able to call upon, as well as a place to spar with their fellow heroes in order to keep themselves sharp
A trophy room and archive near the front of the space would allow for the recording of the team's exploits and the preservation of important memories and mementos. Old costumes, confiscated artifacts, team photos or anything else that the members decide would look better under glass and spotlight than wasting away in some closet somewhere. The archives specifically would allow for the quick reference of previous encounters and operations, making the development of plans of actions easier when dealing with repeat offenders. Mugshots and profiles of various adversaries and the contact information for any of the team's civilian allies can be found here, readily available for team or individual use.
Recruitment, Leadership, and Rules:
Any human or digimon is theoretically welcome to join the Hive so long as they reach all of its criteria. Arriving at the team's lair with the right attitude and characteristics can allow for the acceptance of membership on the spot so long as a clear majority of members accept the acquisition. Continued membership depends upon the doing of good deeds in both the Digital and Real worlds where the member does their best effort to defend and maintain the peace and livelihood of humans and digimon in need.
The only main criteria is the use of some kind of heroic persona that may be as colorful or down to earth as the member themselves may allow. Some form of costuming and the use of some variety of alias or nom de guerre is required simply because it works more fully toward the team's goal of holding themselves up as a symbol of justice and peace across both worlds, making something that beings from every walk of life can look up to.
All decisions are put to a simple majority vote between all members present for the vote, save for when a particular decision is important enough to warrant collecting votes from every active member. A direct fifty-one percent majority is all that is required for any decision to be made and no member's vote is considered more weighted than another on any value including leadership, seniority or rank.
The only rank that exists within the Hive is the Chairperson who acts as the director of meetings and the field leader during operations but functionally holds no actual authority over any member of the team. The office of Chairperson is elected by the members themselves using the same majority vote as any other decision and a new chairperson may be elected at any time, under any circumstances, for any reason. The office should be seen more as a director and moderator of debate and discussion rather than any real position of authority.
