Eldoradimon rescue mission. Less combat-centric thread, but it's not off the table. Probably would involve Rookies, maybe a Champion at most so keep that in mind if you would prefer not to curbstomp a bunch of human-hating children. DM me on discord if you want in. "So... in all the people in our class... why exactly did you invite her?" A girl in blue whispered to another girl, clad in red and pink, as they were walking the streets downtown, on their way to the 104.
"I had asked Maki, but she had other plans. Something about a date with that one senpai she's had her eye on. Takeshi or something..." The girl in red responded back. Behind them, a third girl in green was walking behind the pair. She was going at a slow pace, and if the other two girls didn't stop and give her a chance to catch up every now and again, they would no doubt have gotten separated by the crowd.
"So you invitied that Hayakawa instead?"
"Well... she was listening in when I invited Maki, and she was just kind of... staring at me when Maki refused. So... it got really awkward, and I ended up inviting her."
"Of course it got awkward! She's the girl with green hair! Probably because she's so slow, there's moss on it! Like a sloth!" the blue girl responded, almost loud enough for the green girl to hear. She lowered her voice and continued speaking. "Like, last year, we ended up entering the classroom at the same time, so I asked her how her morning was going! And she just stared at me for like, forever! And at the very end of the day, she came up to me and said, 'My morning was fine! Thank you for asking, Yukihara-san!'" She looked back at the girl in green. She wasn't really paying attention to where she was walking, and nearly tripped over her own two feet. The blue girl sighed, and let her catch up with them once again. Only for her to trail behind once again.
"Yeah... I've seen her talking to plants in the garden. She's definitely... peculiar. But..." The girl in red stopped for a second. "I don't know. The look on her face when I invited her was... She lit up like she had just won the lottery on Christmas day. And just 'cause she's weird doesn't mean she's that bad! We can afford to be nice every now and then, right? And aren't we just a little weird ourselves?"
The blue girl looked over towards the red girl beside her, then back towards green. She let out a grunt before facing the red girl and said, "Speak for yourself..." Her pace came to an abrupt stop as she let the green girl catch up yet again. "Hayakawa, pick up the pace! We can't have you getting lost all day!"
The green girl nodded, her face brightening up as if the very fact that two people willing to remember her last name was some kind of record. "Yes! Okay! I'll walk faster, Yukihara-san! Akabane-san!" Midori Hayakawa excitedly sped up, knowing that this day was going to be one of the best days of her life!
After that, it was all a blur. It was just a little shopping trip, but for Midori, it was a chance to spend time with people her age that weren't forced to do so just because they were in the same class! They had stopped by a few places outside the 104, a crowded place that Midori would never dare to go to all by herself. But she wasn't alone today! She had classmates, Yukihara-san and Akabane-san with her today! And of all the people they could invite, they invited her! It was a dream come true for her! They were classmates, but there was a chance that they could even become... friends, right? Maybe... maybe she could even get on a first name basis with them!? No.. no... she mustn't get her hopes up! She had to take things slowly, and just focus on not messing things up! So in all honesty, Midori never even noticed the shift around her shimmer and break apart, the portal that appeared underneath their feet, until it was all too late. Midori felt herself falling from a dizzying height, and all she could do was let out a scream and hold on for dear life. And... the strange device that suddenly appeared in her hand. Then there was blackness. When she woke up, Midori felt something tickling her face, but when she went to scratch, she found that her arm couldn't quite reach. Also that her arm was a little stub. And that there were a whole bunch of identical stubs on her body. "What is all of this...?" She asked of no one in particular. She looked around and saw a forest around her. But it wasn't any forest that Midori recognized. There were shiny metal plates sticking out in various parts of the trees, electrical outlets placed in seemingly random places on the ground, and some of the tree's leaves had glowing blue veins flowing through them like some kind of... cyber tree. Was this what happens when climate change meets future technology? She managed to crawl her way towards a tree, it's silvery metal plating reflecting enough for Midori to get a grasp of what happened. She had turned into some sort of... worm! Wait... worms didn't have legs! She had turned into some sort of... larvae thingy that she didn't recognize! But... why? And how!? Or... maybe... did she... that must have been it! The only way you could be in another body is if you had... Midori gulped. That fall was pretty frightening. And... if the trees looked all futuristic like this, there could only be one possible explanation... Midori had died, and has reincarnated into some sort of caterpillar-like thingy way into the future, where bugs reigned supreme on this planet! How else could a caterpillar get this big? And she could still think straight and everything! "But I can still remember everything from my old life... is that all normal...?" She asked aloud once again. No... caterpillars in this future must be so evolved that they can remember their past lives. And perhaps once she became fully enlightened, she would metamorphose into another creature entirely! She would like to become a butterfly or a moth or something and fly freely... that would be the best! But first things first! She was no doubt in the distant future were the forests were technology! So that meant her old name, Midori, was probably no good anymore! So she had to come up with a new name! Maybe something like... "Okay! From this day forward! My name will be Greentronicus the Cyber Space Bug! Greentronicus... Greentronicus..." It was a hard name to pronounce, so Mido... Greentronicus would have to keep practicing it.

...There comes a point in life where you need to stop and think to yourself whether or not you're lost. Like, really lost. So lost that even the most scatterbrained of Tentomon can't tell you where you're supposed to be going. The scarf-clad Guilmon had felt like she had been wandering for days, but really, it was hours.
Time was a social construct, after all.
Moving through a metallic forest was pretty damn cool, though. Way cooler than the strange combination of wood and wire she grew up in with her teachers after THE INCIDENT. Of course, the Guilmon quickly picked up some noise and headed off in that direction, faint as it was. You rarely do run into people in the forest, and usually they might mug you! Or they might be friends!
Gambling with the chance of either is also a social construct, after all.
Following the sound confronted the green Guilmon with more green--though this Digimon was naturally green. "Oh, wow, a Wormmon!" Gihai stated, adjusting her scarf a bit so it didn't unravel or fall off or anything funny like that! Despite potentially looking scary, the green lizard simply waved! "My name's Gihai, it's nice to meet you! Whatcha doing here?"
It is here where it is stated that Gihai is not very smart, not very socially versed, and also a bit blunt. Please bear with her. She is very stupid and probably makes very little money.

And while Mi-Greentronicus was busy pacing back and forth, making sure she memorized her new name in this new life of hers, she barely even noticed another green creature approach her in this forest until she outright introduced herself. She let out a shocked squeal as she was caught fully by surprise as she twisted her worm body to a degree that would be downright uncomfortable for any human.
...It was a big, green lizard! And it talked, just like Midor-Greentronicus could! But it was also wearing a scarf... so that meant that... if it spoke and wore clothes, then that meant it was an intelligent being! Which meant that Mid-Greentronicus wasn't wearing clothes, which meant...
She was completely naked!
"H-h-h-h-h-h-hello..." She shivered as she spoke, curling up to hide her shame. Only problem was, she wasn't exactly sure what parts of her body she was supposed to cover up. What would a caterpillar consider shameful!? "My name is Hayakawa Midori! It's pleased to meet..." She froze before she could finish her sentence.
Crap crap poo crap crap! She used her old name by pure reflex! And "It's pleased to meet"!? What did that even mean!? She even messed up her greeting! Her worm face blushed a bright, disgustingly lime green hue out of sheer embarrassment. She should just bury herself in the dirt out of sheer humiliation, but knowing her, she would even mess that up!
She was just the worst! So much so, she didn't even answer Gihai's question! How rude!

You know, insectoid Digimon were always interesting to see in action, because wow, this Wormmon did a range of movement that would be nigh impossible for Gihai to even fathom achieving unless she tried super duper hard and like, broke her back!
Did she even have bones? That was a good question for never. The lizard tilted her head, tail swaying in curiosity as the gears in her brain worked out what the hell Midori just said. "It's pleased to meet you too, Hayakawa Midori!" A pause.
Wait, didn't humans have weird names like that? Two names no less? Yes, most certainly, Aya was like that. Ergo...
"You're a human, right? Those are the only things I know of with two names like that....In that case, my name's Maeda Gihai! But my actual name's just Gihai." Did Gihai even process the fact that her question wasn't even answered? No, and it wasn't really a surprise. It was Gihai, after all.
"Still, I guess my question becomes 'how'd you turn into a Wormmon if you're actually a human,' then..."

Clearly this Gihai must have the patience of a saint, for she was able to tolerate Midori's overall lack of coherence. And then she asked a question Midori didn't expect. She had guessed that she was actually a human!
"But... Wait... you know about humans!?" Midori cried out, nearly ecstatic. She made a mad dash towards the lizard, perfectly willing to violate her personal space to crawl up the lizard's body to meet her face to face. "I used to be a human named Midori, but then I think I fell to my death, and then I woke up in this time as a..." Gihai kept using that specific term, but that didn't sound right. Did worms have little legs? "As a Wormmon, if that's what I am! I don't know how I got here, or even how far into the future I've gotten. Do we still call this planet, 'Earth'?" Wait... what would make her think that she was still on Earth? Of all the galaxies in this ever-expanding universe, statistically there had to be life on other planets, so maybe the afterlife reached across the universe, too! So if Midori was truly reincarnated, why would she come back to Earth, of all places? "Wait, have you heard of 'Earth' before? Do you know who the Prime Minister is? How long ago World War II? Wait... has there been any other World Wars since then, or some planetary, galactic battles that have taken place? Are there any humans on this planet!? Please, I have to know!" Her face was pushing against Gihai's snout at this point as she pressed the scarf-bearing lizard for information.
But those answers might have to wait, as not long after, some rustling through the fauna would get Midori's attention as a strange wolfman, something Midori didn't recognize but Gihai might know as a Strabimon, popped and hailed the pair. "You two, in the green! I just heard you mention humans. Have you seen one nearby? Our scouting party has gotten a hold of two humans that somehow managed to sneak their way onto our territory, but our intel says there should be one more," He held up some odd-looking device. "But our extended analog detector isn't picking up anything, so unlike the other two humans we've captured, this one must be smart enough to mask their analog signal somehow!"
"Other two humans...?" Midori repeated, a sinking feeling growing in her tiny tummy. It wasn't much, but it was enough for the Strabimon to narrow his eyes in suspicion, and change his stance so something predatory.
"Actually, I don't think I've ever seen you two around here! You're not part of the patrol, so what are you two doing out here so close to the border?"

Either she indeed held the patience of a saint, or...Gihai was extremely dim, much akin to another Guilmon not even in this thread. The Wormmon seemed ecstatic to hear the question posed by the Guilmon, even if the sudden reaction prompted her to jump a little bit! "Y-Yeah! I mean, I kind of got raised by a human and her partner, so...Yep! I know a bit."
It was far from a cursory knowledge of humans but it was enough to get her by in the off chance she ever encountered one. Such as right now, in fact. Of course, the explanation was strange. Fell to her death...? "Well...Whether you did die or not, you're alive now. I think that's the more important part." ...Gihai did not think she wanted to linger on that for long. How do you check the validity of if somebody died...? Let's...Not.
"I know that Earth is a name for the Human World. I know what -a- Prime Minister is...But not who the current one of Japan is...That's where most humans come in from apparently...? And World War II was...82 Human Years ago. In Digital World Years, that's 574 years!" Of course, there was a longer pause from Gihai as she pondered that question.
"Good question! There's definitely -been- wars in the Digital World--where we are right now, but nothing on a scale that you can call galactic or world-encompassing. At least, not in my time. And..." Gihai had BEEN CUT OFF. VERY RUDELY. BY SOME FUCKING FURRY.
She turned to look at the Strabimon, quite cross at them for a single moment before her features seemed to take a more neutral expression. "I haven't seen any humans, no..." Despite Midori being right there.
...The way the wolf had been talking about humans rubbed Gihai the wrong way. Gihai knew humans as friends, people who could ultimately do as much good as they could ill. The way humans were being referred to by the wolf did not denote any such connotations.
"Oh. I was just taking a walk--I don't know where I've ended up, but I did make a friend out of it. Where are we, anyways?" The Guilmon seemed to focus. Narrow her eyes. "And why are you looking at us like that?"

Midori tried to take it all in as much as she could. Digital World. But there was the Human World, too? So... this WAS an alien planet after all, and it seemed like this alien world and the human world were connected somehow? As far as Midori knew, in her timeline, humans were nowhere near making contact with aliens. But Gihai also said something about being raised by a human, so either Gihai was an ancient alien lizard whose entire childhood encompassed the end of human civilization in its entirety... or there were humans that were still alive and well even this far into the future! Either one seemed just as likely.
But man... 574 years have passed!? That... would explain why aliens and humans could get along so well. But she was here on the alien planet, and she was an alien bug now. So... which world was home for her?
But she didn't have any time to ponder as SOME FUCKING FURRY had begun his little interrogation. Gihai had managed to weasel her way out of things for the most part. Now it was time for some cooperation on Midori's account.
"We were... talking about..." She had a feeling if she said "human stuff", the wolfman wouldn't like it very much. "We were talking about... about... uh... NOT human stuff! Like... all the Digital whatsit and whatnot! Right?" She had never had to adlib when getting interrogated by an alien border patrol before, but Midori felt like she did a pretty good job.
Thankfully, the green lizard with the scarf that don't barf (hey, you try thinking up words that rhyme with "scarf") could be fucking terrifying if she needed to. And the wolfman, who looked like he was gonna pounce on them at any second, relaxed his stance. "You really don't know where you've ended up, do you? And how the hell did you get onto Eldoradimon like that?" Even so, the suspicion in his tone didn't go away. "And I'm starting to think that it's pretty funny. We caught two humans that managed to get onto Eldoradimon, all alone, without any Digimon to protect them, and we happen to find the same number of Digimon, both looking like they don't belong. Kind of suspicious, is all I'm saying..."
"Yeah, well... I have no idea what any of that is supposed to mean!" Midori countered obstinately, causing the Strabimon's face to contort in anger.
"And that's exactly what makes you suspicious, dammit!" He yelled out, frustrated. Then he took a deep breath, and help up a walkie-talkie looking thing. Despite being like, 500 years into the future. "Diawolf to Boombox. Come in, Boombox."
"This is Boombox, Diawolf. Reading you loud and clear. Find something?"
"I've got a couple of suspicious 'mons that wandered their way all the way out here, looking like a pair of lost Valaismon. Could be potential partners to the human brats we took into custody. I'm requesting immediate backup for capture and transportation just in case things get a little hairy."
"Copy that, Diawolf. We'll send Quickleaf and Rickson over your way. Once we get our prisoners situated, I'll head over there to clean up whatever you guys mess up."
"And you can kindly suck the fattest-"
"Hey, get the hell off of us, you wetdog-smelling lizardf***er!" A voice all too apparent to Midori screamed out from the other side of the comms device.
"Aoi!" Midori blurted out in surprise and horror. She had been captured by these alien guys? So did that mean Rion was also captured too, since they had said they captured two humans? But what were they doing in the future!?
"Over and out." The Strabimon declared with a smirk on his face as he turned back over towards the green team. "Looks like you do know those humans after all! I can take you to them, if you'd like! Just come along peacefully and no one has to get hurt," His tone was surprisingly gentle, but the way he held himself, and how he held his sharp claws out were anything but.
"Gihai..." Midori whispered into the Guilmon's ear. "I think they captured someone I know... I'm just a tiny worm, so I can't do much... Can you please help me get them back? Please? I'll do anything!"

Guuuhhhh...Gihai didn't really enjoy having to lie like that, but there were times where it was better to do that which is necessary to keep the innocent safe, rather than that which was 'cool.' The green lizard put a claw to her temple as she tried to remember...Oh!
"I think I walked into a portal. I. Um. I can be a bit scatterbrained sometimes, sorry if I'm causing any inconvenience..." Yeah, that was absolutely what happened. Don't question it, just don't! Gihai simply stepped in front of Midori, despite all manner of fear running through her veins.
If she even had those.
Anger on someone like that was not a good sign. Despite the ensuing conversation, Gihai did not feel like she could trust the FUCKING FURRY with Midori...Not in the slightest!
I think they captured someone I know... I'm just a tiny worm, so I can't do much... Can you please help me get them back? Please? I'll do anything
Guuuuuuh....
What would Coolmon do here? What would that dumb rabbit say to something like this? Potentially xenophobic Digimon wanting to do nothing more than hurt you for something you had no control over?
"...I can sorta guess. Um. I can't do much either, but I think I can help..." She whispered back to the Wormmon. Gihai likely would not stand a chance against the Strabimon in combat. But, they did seem to think they weren't a solo Digimon and a human cursed with ghosts.
No, this stupid dog thought they were partnered.
"I'll help you. But you don't have to do anything for me. Someone once told me it's cooler to help people without price. So I'll do it because you're my friend." Whisper whisper.
She finally opted to speak up. "Okay. But you better hold up your end of this. You put those claws away and take us to them, and we'll come along."
Another whisper to Midori. "Stay close to me."
Her plan was simple. Play along. Hope they actually do take them to the humans, and then hope that they're able to fight them off with two Digimon.
It was awful.
But she had to at least try...

Midori literally couldn't be closer, as she had crawled up onto the Guilmon's shoulder. Benefit of being an insect, Midori supposed. Easy to crawl up things. Or people, in this case.
Meanwhile, the Strabimon relaxed his posture once more and his smirk turned into a victorious grin. Then he pointed towards the brushes from whence he came. "Good to know you've got some sense. Keep walking in that direction. I'll walk behind you and let you know when you start going in the wrong direction. You start to stray too much, and I'll put you down and drag you back. You get too mouthy, and I put you down and drag you back. If it looks like the two of you start conspiring, I-"
"You'll put us down and drag us back!" Midori helpfully finished, recognizing the pattern.
"You interrupt me again, and I put you down and drag you back!" The Strabimon added, irritated. Midori shrunk away as much as she could.
"I'm sorry..." Midori weakly relented. And assuming Gihai complied with Strabimon's demands, Midori would stick to her new green comrade and have little to do but ponder what was all going on. Midori hadn't been able to follow along very well with what Gihai had said, but it seemed like she had been reincarnated into a bug creature like over 500 years into the future, on an alien planet, no less! But... she definitely had heard Aoi's voice! And they had captured another human other than Aoi, so did that mean Rion was there, too? But what were Aoi and Rion doing in another world in the future. Could that mean...
Well... things were finally making sense to former human girl. She was sure of it now. Midori had been reincarnated for a reason! Aoi and Rion must have been sent to this planet in timeline because they were special or something! After all, Aoi was really popular and confident and stuff, and it didn't really seem like there wasn't anything she couldn't do! And Rion was really smart and kind! Kind enough to even invite Midori to go hang out with them!
So then it must have been fate that Midori was reincarnated with her memories intact! Because now that she knew that Aoi and Rion were here in this world, she had to do everything she could do to protect them! Because unlike Midori who was just as useless as she was in her old live as she was as a tiny, weak, pathetic bug in this one, Aoi and Rion were no doubt something special!
But aside from Strabimon barking orders at Midori and Gihai for no reason other than to make himself seem more in control, they were eventually met by another two Digimon. One was a yellow, bipedal fox-looking creature, while the other looked like some kind of squid... octopus... seafood creature with a coral helmet over its squishy-looking body.
"Strabimon, we'll take it from here..." The mollusk creature spoke being as deep and gruff as it was despite being about the same size as Midori's tiny worm body.
"Sangomon, Renamon..." The wolfman greeted, if for no other reason than for the narrative to introduce them to Midori.
"You should continue looking for the third human!" The Renamon proclaimed in an uptight, too-serious tone and salute. He looked over towards Gihai and Midori and narrowed his fox eyes. "We'll secure the prisoners and take them to the closest checkpoint! Maybe if we hand over some invading humans and their traitorous Digimon, we'll become more than a volunteer security force!" He narrated his situation and motivations, presumably to seem like he and his gang were something more than the one-note, small fries that they clearly were.
Strabimon nodded and began to take his leave, and Renamon and Sangomon approached, leaving behind a trail of slime as he hobbled across the forest floor.
A trail of slime leading back to Aoi and Rion.
Midori crawled up to Gihai's ear and whispered, "I... I think we can fight these two... And we can follow their trail back to Aoi and Rion..." How did she know she could fight them? She wasn't sure, really. But ever since she realized that she needed to protect her friends, she just... kind of felt like she was strong enough to do so. Almost as if it were pure instincts.
God knows Midori didn't have anything else to rely on.

...
ElDoradimon...
Gihai disliked this place already. The Guilmon reached out to pat Midori on the head. "It's okay." She was quiet. She was mostly tuning the Strabimon barking orders out as she followed him, waiting, and waiting. Biding her time, until they came to meet with a Renamon and a Sangomon. Gihai stared them down, seeming to commit their faces to memory for some reason.
...
They were underwhelming to her. They were nothing, yet they saw themselves as above others. And for some odd, inexplicable reason to Gihai...That irritated her to no end. She remained quiet, listening and staring towards the three as they discussed their next actions, loudly. A volunteer security force?
...They really -were- nothing!
What gave THEM THE RIGHT?
"I don't think we can." Gihai whispered right back. Simple. "I know we can. They're small fry..." And they could. They really, honestly could. It was just a matter of waiting. Waiting for Strabimon to get away, far enough, and then springing the trap.
"Sup."
Simple question. Did they dare answer?

Not long after, Strabimon made his leave. And then the Sangomon and Renamon looked over to the green duo. "'Sup? What's up is that you're gonna move along, or we're gonna beat you senseless!" The Renamon boldly proclaimed.
"The two of you will be a lot easier to carry as Digitama, so don't make us take drastic measures," Sangomon added in an intimidating tone. He didn't look as easily perturbed as the fox Digimon, though.
Digitama? "Yeah well... I have no idea what that is!" Midori replied in a fierce tone, while hiding on the back of Gihai's neck, poking her head out to glare at the two border patrol. Well, unofficial border patrol. They gave the Wormmon a confused look, as if she was missing something obvious.
Which meant that this was the perfect time to catch them off guard! So she had to say something really mean! But... she couldn't think of anything. Quick! What was the most hurtful thing anyone's ever said to her? "And... even though you're kind of cute, you're also weird! And really creepy! And I don't ever want to be friends, because I'm afraid of people seeing me hang out with you!" She was holding back tears by the end of it as a painful memory came up. But no! Midori was a completely different person now! Now she was a cute bug that could totally be less weird and creepy!
"We're... cute...?" The Sangomon replied, confused. The Renamon, however, reacted much more strongly.
"What are you even going on about? As if I'd want to hang with a traitorous Digimon like you! I bet even that gross-looking lizard over there secretly hates your guts!"
"That's... really... mean..." Midori replied, still holding back tears. She wasn't gonna cry because of some bully! She was a tough worm now!
The Renamon moved closer and closer towards the green duo. "Who cares!? Now... if you two don't start getting a move on, we're gonna have to take 'disciplinary measures'!" The fox Digimon bared his teeth and cracked his knuckles. Things seemed like they were about to get a little... scrappy.

The beauty of having someone like Coolmon for a teacher was that they were the codifier for most mentors. Patient. Caring. Traits that had rubbed off onto Gihai in the here and now. However, Gihai was not Coolmon. She was patient and caring, but she had her limits. Especially with patience. Limits that were swiftly being breached by these Digimon as they berated, and ridiculed her and Midori...
Something, inevitably had to give. And the Guilmon took a step in front of the Wormmon, and leered.
"...Hey. Don't you go and put words in my mouth like that, you smoothbrained piece of shit." Gihai snarled. "You think you have the stones to turn me into a Digitama? Don't make me fucking laugh, you 'people' look like you couldn't even steal candy from a Neemon. You're Sovereign-damned pathetic, that's why you're a volunteer security force rather than something actually worthwhile, like a militia guard or something. Give me a break, you're trying so damn hard to be intimidating that it's actually more sad than anything--you're like dogs. Hell, even your dog friend's kind of pathetic too, kind of like this whole place. I mean, who treats outsiders, lost outsiders like that? Bitches, that's who. And you know what? That's exactly what you are. You're worth even less than a Numemon, Sagomon. And Renamon, nobody cares about you for more than your looks. You disgust me in every sense of the word. Fuck you, 'pal.' Acid Blast!"
After going on what was basically her version of a particular copypasta involving gorilla warfare, Gihai would open her mouth and discharge a literal BALL OF ACID AT SAGOMON. It was because he had the misfortune of being born a piece of coral that Gihai decided to be cruel and inflict the pains of environmental decay upon him!
Of course, this left Midori to deal with Renamon... Passives: Corrosive! [Passive]: Venom and acid are this Guilmon’s specialty, so while she boasts no fire, her attacks sting in a different way. Every attack of hers, save for Acid Blast, inflicts a stack that reduces her foe’s defenses by 8%, capping at 40%/5 stacks. If no stacks are added for two posts, the number begins to go down by one for every post. Also, she can only inflict one stack at a time. Gihai shoot Sagomon with Acid Blast! Brrrrrr!
Acid Blast: Gihai opens up her mouth as a glowing green ball is discharged for one foe, the blast corroding at her target’s defenses and causing severe damage if she manages to hit with this. For two posts, the foe suffers a 20% reduction to their defenses. Three post cooldown.

For Midori, things began to get ugly, really fast. Gihai started saying mean things, things way more meaner than what Midori said. And neither one of them took it too well. "The fuck you say to me, you little green bitch!?" Renamon yelled out, charging towards the pair. He moved slightly out of the way of Gihai's acid ball, giving the Guilmon a smug grin. It seemed like was too stupid to realize that the attack wasn't even aimed at him. Instead, the acid sphere flew towards the mollusk Digimon, who, in all fairness, didn't consider acid to the face from a fucking recolored Guilmon as thing that would happen today. He let out a yelp of pain, then a shout of anger, then finally a grunt of fury as he shot forth a barrage of coral spikes right at his assailant! Meanwhile, the Renamon rushed the Guilmon at a different angle. Gihai was getting ganged up on! Midori had to do something, but what could a weak little worm like her do? She had to do... something! Anything! So the little worm leapt off the green lizard, and onto the yellow fox, biting down as hard as she could on the fox Digimon's arm. Renamon let out a series of expletives as he shook he arm up and down, dislodging Midori from his arm and into the dirt, where the worm girl tasted the dirt and fox fur. "You made a big mistake you weak-ass little bug!" He yelled out, suddenly throwing out a volley of leaves from his body that glowed with a bright light. The leaves crashed into Midori's body, knocking her backwards, but the Renamon suddenly dashed forward, hitting Midori again with the same attack! Midori was driven back even further, but once again, the Renamon was right in front of her! "Once you get back down, I'm gonna hurt you twice as much!" Then he performed a backflip, kicking Midori's tiny worm body high up into the air. Midori had just gotten the crap beaten out of her. And it had only been like, two seconds into the fight!
- Sangomon takes Gihai's acid, dropping his defense significantly, both by Gihai's stacking abilities, as well as his own! He counters by shooting spikes at the Guilmon. -Due to Sangomon's own abilities, and Gihai's debuffs, Sangmon's altered stats have gone from 150% Defense, 80% Speed to 120% Defense, 90% Speed. - Midori tries to defend her new friend by biting down on Renamon's arm, but gets severely punished for it. I guess Wormmon's a pretty low-tier character... err... Digimon. Relevant abilities, cooldowns and stuff Coral Shield - Sangomon's coral is pretty tough and heavy, but it breaks easily. Sangomon has a 50% increase to defense, but a 20% decrease to speed. Once per turn, after Sangomon takes damage from an attack, his defense automatically drops by 10%, and his speed increases by the same amount, until their initial bonuses have been inverted (+50% Speed, -20% Defense).
Coral Shot - Sangomon fires off a barrage of coral spikes at an enemy. 1-post cooldown.
Leaf Shine - Renamon creates a hexagon of glowing leaves around her that crashes into enemies Frame 1. Deals light damage, but this move doesn't take up Renamon's Action. 2-post cooldown.
Multi Shine - Renamon wavedashes forward and hits an enemy with another Leaf Shine. If used the same turn as Leaf Shine, this move doesn't take up Renamon's Action. 2-post cooldown.
Toryah! - Renamon deals a powerful upwards smash kick that knocks them high up into the air, towards the upper blast zone, err... nvm that last bit. Wrong game. 2-post cooldown.
Coral Shield - 0/2 Leaf Shine - 0/2 Multi Shine - 0/2 Toryah! - 0/2

As Gihai's blast of acid sailed past Renamon and went for Sagomon, much occurred in such a short span of time that it really just confirmed that Renamon was not only some kind of degenerate who didn't shower, but also played old games from 2001 on a cathode-ray tube television set to reduce input lag or some shit like that. Gihai crossed her arms and braced to block Sagomon's attack! And by block...
The author really means soak that shit like it's nothing- Oh wait, there's the pain! Why did spikes have to hurt like that? What did they ever do to the green Guilmon? She looked to the blustering Renamon, who had initially been rushing for her before he decided to instead pick on Midori, before she'd walk over, and perform a rather odd maneuver.
A standing backflip that aimed to slam her tail into the Renamon with no small amount of force. It might have been TOO much force, in fact!
"I'm gonna bury you so deep, they're only gonna find your skeleton once I'm done!" Gihai no. Gihai that's NOT WHAT YOU TELL PEOPLE.
Gihai takes the damage from Sagomon's coral shot, and you know what? She doesn't really like that, but she dislikes Renamon more, so she decides to compound upon the references to an old Gamecube game from 2001 by walking up slowly and...down smash- I mean, tail flipping.
Tail Flip!: Gihai does a really hecking SICK backflip and thwaps her opponent with her tail. One post cooldown. It's very annoying.
...It's not very strong.
Cooldowns: Acid Blast: 1/3 Tail Flip: 0/1

Midori came crashing down into the dirt, sobbing in the sudden pain of getting beaten up. She had never really gotten struck by anyone before. She was a fairly obedient child, and her parents never so much as raised a hand to her. And the most her classmates had ever done was just call her weird and gross and stuff. And then some high-tier fox man started to combo her like that. Combine this with all of the weird goings on... It was all getting to be a bit too much.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." She began weeping, shivering in her sheer helplessness at her situation. She could only watch on as Gihai started to pick a fight with the Renamon as well. Her tail slapped the fox man upside the head, an acidic sizzling sound at the impact site.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" He yelled in anger and pain, focusing his attention to the green dino. "You're gonna pay for that!" He then proceeded to send a flurry of kicks towards the Guilmon.
And as for the Sangomon, he aimed his little tentacles towards the Guilmon that had oh-so-rudely began ignoring him, then fired off a powerful stream of water towards her.
- Renamon doesn't take too kindly to getting slapped by a gimmicky character like Guilmon, so he uses the opportunity to use [Rapid Jab] to kick her a whole bunch. Also, Sangomon uses his [Jet Stream] to blast Gihai with some water. It's kinda painful.
Moves Used -
Jet Stream - Sangomon shoots out a heavy stream of water. Good for putting out forest fires, watering plants, and dealing light damage to enemies. 0-post cooldown.
Rapid Jab - Despite its name, Renamon kicks at an enemy. A bunch of times. Really fast. 0-post cooldown.
C&D's Sangomon - +20% Defense, -10% Speed Coral Shot - 1/1 - Back Online!
Renamon - -8% Defense Leaf Shine - 1/2 Multi Shine - 1/2 Toryah! - 1/2
