With the mention of live swords Clayton smiled internally for a moment, technically speaking he had been working with a live sword for a while now, so lively in fact that it talked and walked around! But they probably didn't need to know that lest Clayton sound absolutely bonkers to everyone in this room right now. "Maybe someday, I am interested in working with real swords but I think I'll stick to my wooden one till I get more mastery, better safe then sorry after all." He had his eye on one in particular but considering he barely had any money as is that wasn't happening anytime soon!
Though what was mentioned did make a lot of sense to Clayton, the best way to fight is to never have to fight in the first place sorta speak, better to never have to draw your weapon then fight for your life. But that last question did make him take a few moments to think, crossing his arms listening to the others while trying to form his own opinion on what it meant.
"I suppose in my mind what makes a Shinobi skilled is knowing the difference between honor and victory, always try and hold up a sense of duty for what you're doing or believe in while being willing to take the low road when you need to, someone who will use everything they have available to them in order to see that mission through." Letting his arms fall to his side Clayton gave a small shrug. "At least from what you've told us that's what I think, after all we are here to learn so even if I'm far off base I'm sure I can fill in the blanks."

"I see you've learned the lesson quite well today. That's great. Use the wisdom you've gained today wisely and share it with anyone who'll want to take the knowledge. Just remember one thing - the moment you'll decide to take a path of ninja, you always should remember why you've come to this. Many have fallen to dark because of the wrong path Ninpo may offer, and so your goal must serve you as a lighthouse.". The headmaster continued once able to speak has been provided again. "Now, do you have any questions? I'll answer only one at a time."
"Yes, master. If I, or anyone else, want to learn about the art beside your books and classes, where I can find more of that?". Hans asked the moment Hatsumi ended his speech. He knew he needed much more techniques to survive in the Digital World. Walzman knew perfectly that back in Ninjutsu history ninja clans had have their own traditions and training, so finding them and adopting them is a goal for which he surely needs to dedicate some time. The Swiss guy was firmly believing that it can make his Renamon stronger in a way that doesn't suppose to absorb data of other digimons.
"You can. You see, long ago, and especially during the second world war, some parts of Ninjutsu history were been destroyed and of course, there are some which are considered to be lost. But nowadays we have a nice thing called the Internet, so I believe you can find more about Ninpo on its sheer space. Unfortunately, I'm quite old and can't keep pace with young people when it comes to modern technologies, so if you manage to find something unique - you can contribute, or sell it, to the ninja museum of Igaryu. Or you can also find me if you're not sure about your finding. If that answers your question, I'm open to more. Is anyone wants to ask anything?". The old man asked again.

LJ himself had experience with swords and handheld weapons in general but he figured that was information the master of the dojo didn't need to know. That and the fact that he was a monster from another world disguised as a teenage human. Yeah he doubted that would go over very well as not all humans may be receptive of digimon. He was smart enough to know that at least.
Seemed Clayton was interested in working with a real sword but was planning on sticking with his wooden one for the time being for the sake of safety. Made sense to LJ as having no experience with swords could be disastrous for the untrained as someone could chop off their own limbs or worse.
Then Hatsumi mentioned the path of the ninja and sticking to their path. When the subject of falling to darkness was mentioned it hit home hard for LJ as she struggled to supress the shudder that ran through him as memories of a past incident where he lost control came to mind. Fortunately his shudder would be barely noticable except for maybe the most trained eye. Perhaps this place could help with the guidance he needed with the ninja path as he was interested.
"I have one question, headmaster. Despite my martial arts training I have been struggling with maintaining control of my temper and I fear hurting someone if I become too angry. Would this training be a good way to help with my problem?" LJ asked once he recovered from the bad memories that periodically racked his mind. At least he seemed to avoid bringing unwanted attention to himself.
