Nyaromon's heard Kotemon attentively, but couldn't understand many of the words it said.
"What's a fool?" she asked "And a coward? And a related? Does it taste good?" She cooed at being petted but instantly jumped with excitement at Kotemon's next words "GRANPARENTS? ARE YOU SERIOUS? YUU-OTTOUSAN! YUU-OTTOUSAN!" She started hopping towards him. however, three hops later, she froze both at Kyupimon's and Karin's words.
"S-so you don't want to be my family?" She spoke, her voice suddenly broken. Tears began to streak her eyes and for the first time in her relatively young life, she seemed sad. "O-okay. I-it's fine" Yuu hurried towards the little thing and just scooped her, hugging her tightly. She then began sobbing silently in his uniform jacket.
"There, there, Nyaromon, calm down" He hated the emotionless tone of his cellphone so much right now. He felt like he couldn't even soothe a little cat-thing properly and just felt inmensely frustrated. He approached Karin and typed silently, showing the screen of his cellphone to her.
Why I would be offended? I've never said anything about marriage or anything like that and I don't know from where Nyaromon got the idea. However, even strangers know that being that blunt to a baby wasn't nice. I know that she was rather unbearable and she was practically asking for it, but still... I'm not asking for you to apologize, but next time, could you please try be more tactful with her?
After he made sure that she read the whole message, he dared to ask
"What's the point of going to the Digital World? It doesn't seem like the safest of places"

Duffer shook his head. "It's not AS dangerous as you'd think... if you stuck inside city limits." He reassured. "It's more weird than anything... you think your Digimon are unusual? To quote a wise man; "you ain't seen n-n-nothin' yet." It's a good learning experience though. It helps you figure out what made these guys so weird." He reassured, returning to his math problems. "And it's not that hard to get too anyway. Just go to the train station and your digimon will lead you to an elevator and the rest'll be obvious." He reassured.
"Just bring food. Your human food and our digimon food taste different in certain regards..." Kotemon began. "Certain regards? Meat grows on trees! I ordered a burger and they sliced up an apple and put it on a bun!" Duffer said, frowning. "...But it is pretty, in a kinda... Cabinet of Doctor Kaligari way. Besides, the train there and back are on the same platform. As long as you have enough fare you'll be fine. It's like going to another country, but without worrying about speaking the language!" He smiled again, remembering some decent adventures in the Digital World.
"...Besides, it's not like you children have much else to do now that you have to care for them anyway. Just make sure they make it to the bathroom, feed them regularly, and they're pretty much just like living with another person." Kotemon reassured.

...well, darn, there she goes again. Her social awkwardness made this happened. Holding her urge to facepalm at her own stupidity. She's too used to Kyupimon and assumed all Digimon at that level have same maturity. How foolish she was. Karin glanced at Kyupimon. The angel Digimon seem get a gist of it and sighed.
"Mistress, we're both at fault over here, but indeed, you're a bit too hard on her..." the angel Digimon whispered, but quickly, she added something, raising her voice loud enough for the Nyaromon to hear. "Oh, she doesn't mean that, Nyaromon. Don't you mean you have another thing to say before you ended up that sentence, Mistress?"
...Kyupimon's cover-up somehow baffled her. She really don't want to be on some group with strangers... but... darn, Nyaromon is still a baby, so it can't be helped...
"...Yes, I can't be your mother because people have to love each other before they married... but I can be your... aunt..."
She's definitely struggling to say the last part, but looks like Kyupimon approved that action.
"...Call me oneesama all you want," Kyupimon added.

Nyaromon sniffed a little, then came to face the apologizing pair. "Yo-ou actually meant that?" her face lighted up that same instant. She then propelled directly to Kyupimon and hugged her with her tail. "I'm so happy! I've got an elder sister and an auntie! Look, Yuu-ottousan! They're REAL!" To say the Yuu was perplexed was not an understatement. It was much, much more than that. It took all his self control for his jaw to not drop to the floor. How emotional could this little digimon be? "That's my little girl?" the electronic voice managed to say. "So, are going to the digiworld together, onee-sama?" She said, delighted "That's going to be so fun! Just imagine all the things that we can do there together!"
He took advantage of Nyaromon's ordeal to approach Karin, typing as silently as he could.
If you don't want to go to the Digital World with just us say it right away. Even though I believe that it'll be safer the more we are, maybe you're just too uncomfortable near her. I think I'll be able to make up an excuse for her.
He waited the she read the message and then went back to where he was. Hopefully Nyaromon hadn't noted that.
"So... If what you're saying is right, then I think that going to the Digital World is going to be a pretty good learning experience. How do we enter there? And most importantly, how do we get back? Any other tip besides the ones that you already gave us?"

"Well, I'd suggest by train..." Duffer said, writing down random numbers and hoping the teacher would take it. "You'll go to an elevator and go to the VERY bottom floor. You'll get there, along with some other kids who were dragged there by their cellphones or something but they're not important. Anyway, you get there, the trains will be Digimon. They'll ask for a fare but they take food just as eagerly as they will money." He motioned to the cell-phone. "I hope you two are writing this down, because some of this stuff isn't as easy to remember on the spot. Anyway, Trailmon will take you and your partner to the Digital World. You have to pay for two one-way tickets if you wanna come back, so again, pack some food. Anyway, once you get to the Digital World you'll end up at Terminus City. From there you can do all sortsa things, Digimon aren't picky on what's money and what's not, I was able to buy a lollipop with a piece of string and a marble, but that's besides the point."
Duffer took a deep breath. "And whenever you wanna go back you gotta head back to the Trailmon Terminal, find the one that goes back to the human world (DON'T mention how much you'll pay or they'll all jump on you and lie about where they're going), and ride the elevator you came down there in the first place back up and you'll back at Shibuya Train Station. I dunno how the time flows in the digital world, or if you can even get reception there, so I don't recommend bringing a watch or phone if you value it. I brought one I borrowed from my foreign exchange parents and somehow it thought it was the year Lincoln was shot when I got back." Panting, he adjusted himself and continued to "work" on math. "Any questions?"
Kotemon sighed. "Yes, good job not intimidating them, Duffer..."

"Copy that, Kyupi--- Oh wait..."
"I can't speak that language, Mistress," Kyupimon reminded her. The angel digimon is way too occupied to listen to the human's tips either way... as she got a black furball latching on so happily. Geez, really, this young 'un. She's really easily excitable.
Karin shook her head at the antics, but focuses herself when suddenly Yuu showed her a small message. True, she's a bit bothered by the Nyaromon's antics. If she have a partner like that, probably she would snap sooner or later. However... at the same time, Kyuupimon somehow is dead set on stepping there.
"...Well, I'll go with you. There's a strength in number regardless of what people said. However, should I find this interest no longer intersect, you'll have to excuse both me and Kyupimon."
She really don't want to go buddy-buddy with them, but there's no helping it. Plus, if Duffy is coming, then probably it'll be much smoother. Two baby Digimons... despite one with experience, she's not sure they can face the world that easily.

Yuu kept the pace with Duffer's words and wrote most of the important stuff in his cellphone. He then nodded.
"Got it... Elevator, very bottom floor, Trailmons, food's as good as money for paying fare, Terminus City, no picky with currency. If we want to go back, we just pick another Trailmon and we don't say how much we'll pay because we'll get ripped off. Seems easy enough"
He made sure he hadn't missed anything before adding.
"About the cellphones. Well... I'm kind of forced to bring this or I won't be able to communicate as smoothly as I'd like, so let's hope it can come back unscathed".
He seemed thoughtful for a second, but then he finally made up his mind about the travel.
"Are you all okay with going tomorrow afternoon? I guess that we need at least a day to prepare the necessary stuff and rest. Today was a pretty exhausting day. Anyway, I think that I've already spent way more time here than what I originally meant, so I guess I should get going".
He ripped two bits from the last page of his sketchbook and scribbled there his cellphone and name, handing them to both Karin and Duffer. "Text me if you need anything. It was a pleasure to meet you four, Duffer, Karin, Kyupimon, Kotemon. See you all later"
He started walking towards where he had left his bicycle, but then noted that Nyaromon hadn't even dislodged herself from Kyupimon, so he sighed and started typing again.
"Nyaromon, say goodbye and come here! We're leaving!"
"Goodbye Onee-sama! Goodbye auntie Karin! Goodbye Kotemon-sensei! Goodbye Duffer-san!" she cried happily as she hopped behind Yuu, in hopes of catching him.

Duffer smiled. "Tomorrow it is then, I've only done this... three times before though, so I'm not REALLY an expert... Kotemon knows what to do though, I think it's like instinct or something." He admitted, taking the number and putting it away. "Good luck with Nyaromon!"
Duffer smiled and waved at Nyaromon, both he and Kotemon shouting goodbyes as she bounced away. "...Kotemon, you were unusually nice to Nyaromon. Is there something you're not telling me?" "No! She just happens to remind me of when I was just Kapurimon." "You mean two weeks ago?" "Exactly. I was a naive child just as she is. She's exactly like me." "So you mean Yuu's gonna end up knocked out on the floor while she bounces on his chest?" "...Probably should have warned him they love fighting."
Duffer shook his head and turned back to Karin. "Right so... lemme write down my number then and we'll get going too. I need to figure out a way for Kotemon to keep staying for dinner. I think my foreign exchange family are beginning to realize he's not a kid from school." He took out a piece of paper and wrote down his cell-phone number, passing it to her and getting up to leave.
As Kotemon followed they soon began bickering on whether he actually did his homework or not.

Now that Karin is left alone, she turned to her partner, the Kyupimon. At the same time, they both let out a sigh. That was something... a tiring event, not exactly bad or something, but definitely not that good too.
"...Well, I cannot say it out loud with the two of them back then, but Mistress... I..."
"...don't plan to get along with me more than a certain obligation..."
"So you do understand. However, let me get this clear... We're partners, and it's something inevitable. As much as I want to gain independence, we're still duo that always need to be together. I'm not that stubborn. I believe that there will be time I accept you... that is, if you've proved your worth to me, Mistress."
"...I understand, that is... to not betray you?"
"It'll be more than that, but I guess for now, it's sufficient. As distant as our relationship is, as long as we need each other... no, that's certainly will be up to you, but... if you care for me and will keep me with you like how partners would act, I'll be gladly protect you. This is our current relationship."
"Understood... Well, then, shall we go home, Kyupimon?"
"Yes... but what will you tell your parents, Mistress?"
"I'll simply make you pretend that you're a doll if it's not too much. Don't worry, I'll feed you and care you properly."
Looking at the numbers on her hand, she sighed. Tomorrow... is the big day. ...Oh holy--- She forgot her cellphone is missing. With this being this late... high chance she won't make it tomorrow. Karin run out from the forest while carrying Kyupimon with her.
