Team Name: The Wild Hunt
Team Ideal: Anarchy!!
With the exponential rise of Tamers and other Chosen Ones, the Digital World is much better equipped to defend itself from calamities than it was in the distant past. Yet, oppressive governments that claim to "protect" weaker Digimon, like Terminus and Luminas, still exist. Why should all the power be in the hands of a few select Megas? If some Team under the guise of an evil organization were to cause some good-natured mischief, it would allow local heroes to intervene and save the day, thus slowly but surely bringing power back in the hands of the people. Assuming the role of antagonists, only to get regularly beat up, is a tough job, but someone has to do it.
Team Ability: Rule Breaker [Passive]: Up to three times per thread, a team member can use two named attacks in the same post. Doing so increases the cooldown of both attacks by 2 posts (this increase is not permanent). Two Once-Per-Thread abilities cannot be used simultaneously when this is activated, and if this ability is activated the same turn that a Once-Per-Thread ability is used, Rule Breaker itself suffers a cooldown of 2 posts.
Base Location: Until a proper team base is secured, the designated meeting spot will be a run-down tavern located in Fragment Village.
Base Thread / Base Subboard
Recruitment: OOC, there are no requirements for joining other than expressing interest, though the team's concept naturally favors characters with flexible morals and/or an Evil alignment, or characters who are considered outcasts or misfits of society. IC, the team regularly sends highly encrypted messages through Tamernet. Those skilled enough to decrypt them may enter a private messaging room where further details will be discussed with an anonymous envoy. If your character is not an expert hacker, fret not, we can OOC brainstorm other ways for them to be recruited.
Leadership: IC, the concept of leadership clashes with our ideal. While Jokermon publicly declares himself the leader, he is not authoritarian towards other members, who are all practically treated as equals. OOC, Yuko's account functions as the team leader.
Rules: This team does not abide by a strict ruleset (Anarchy, baby!), but the few rules it does have are quite important. Those are:
1. Do not betray your comrades (Unless they betray you first).
2. Do not pick on those weaker than you (Unless they get in your way).
3. Your villainous deeds should aim to harm first and foremost the system, not its people. No 'unless' here. Stick it to The Man, not the little man!
History and Details: For Yuko, who has witnessed first-hand the ineptitude of Luminas City's administration when dealing with the Demon Lords, the thought that a small collective of really powerful Digimon makes all the important decisions on the people's behalf never sat well with her. Meanwhile, Jokermon, being an old timer, longs for the good old days when Digimon were free to do whatever they liked without big authority figures looming over their heads. The decision to start a Team whose goal would be to disrupt this oppressive status quo was mutual. The front of an evil organization would help conceal their true goal of liberating the Digital World from all forms of oppression. All that was left was for them to find allies they could trust to play their role as noble evildoers efficiently.
