The day began like any other, with Koemi tripping and falling flat on her face. Really, she that was to be expected, but she couldn't help it! She had to get to school, but it wasn't like she could just put the book down! The encroaching horde of insect-people had begun to descend on the last bastion humanity had to offer, and though their numbers were small, they still had to hold out long enough for the Prince Caladhis and his squadron of friends, allies, and redeemed enemies to defeat the Horde Queen and save what little remained of his late mother and father's kingdom and claim the throne that his older brother Garadhis sacrificed his life to defend!
So even though Koemi was looking down, she didn't notice her shoelace becoming undone, and practically flying underneath her other shoe as she took another step. She lost her balance, teetered on the verge of falling over, then once she thought she got her balance back a stiff breeze came by and threw her body overboard. She let out a short scream as she bumped her head on something on the way down. But that was a pain she was used to at this point.
"Owie..." She muttered aloud, regardless. She lay on her side as she rubbed her forehead, but felt an uncomfortable bump on her side. She hoisted herself off the ground, looking underneath where she fell to find... a bullet! Koemi stifled a scream as she began to tremble in concern. If that was a bullet, then... did she fall over because she got shot!? Was there a sniper somewhere!? She patted down her body, checking herself for gunshot wounds. Thankfully, she couldn't find any. But she looked around the rooftops of her neighborhood, just in case! There weren't a lot of places for snipers to hide... probably. But before she could discern any would-be-assassins with apparently terrible aim, she realized she had forgotten something far more important than finding her assailant.
"My book!" She scrambled around until she spotted the hard-cover novel off to the side. She picked it up, brushed off the dirt, looking like she was going to tear up from the scratches from the book's jacket hitting the pavement. Still... there wasn't any damage to the pages. "Oh thank goodness you're all right..." She murmured with a sigh of relief as she held the book close to her chest for an uncomfortable length of time. Another student from the neighborhood passed by Koemi at this point, giving the girl a wide berth as he kept along his walk to school. And Koemi didn't even realize he had ever been there.
But she decided to put the book away for now. She wasn't supposed to have been reading while walking in the first place, so she didn't want to get too hurt, after all. So she picked up the bullet she had fallen atop of, looking at it. It had a bunch of weird symbols etched onto it in a language the little girl didn't recognize. Then the runes on the bullet began to glow, and Koemi would hear a voice. And after that, her story would begin.

After stepping out of the portal, Koemi couldn't help but tremble at the eerie scenery around her.
Thank you once more for doing this... The voice from the bullet would echo in Koemi's head. She hadn't quite gotten used to that just yet. I used up most of my power in order to get us here, so... we can't afford to fail here! It is all up to you, now!
"I-it's fine, really!" Koemi insisted, feeling a chill down her spine. It looked like she was in the middle of a dark wasteland. A vast expanse of gray-to-black dirt and stone everywhere she went. Black clouds covered the sky, and only faint traces of light could make through, forcing Koemi's eyes to adjust to the low-light area compared to the morning sun of Shibuya. There were several dead-looking trees scattered throughout, but nothing that seemed to have any indication of life. The only thing of interest was the pitch-black castle off in the distance. "I just have to find this... holy... platinum thingy, right? And then you can go back to your original body?"
Well... it would be a start... The voice responded, its runes sparkling as it "spoke". I don't remember much, like how I got to your world, or even my own name. But... I have this strong feeling I was supposed to meet you, Koemi! And that you're the only one who can help me find... myself!
"D-don't worry, umm..." Koemi assured the bullet. It didn't even have a name. But it was a bullet, and it sparkled, so... "Oh, I know! If you don't have a name, then I'll just call you... Pikadan!" It was best not to think so hard about this kind of stuff, anyways!
Eh!? That's... I appreciate the thought, but... I don't think that name will stick once if I get my memories back... Pikadan murmured, his voice quivering despite his unusual medium.
"Then... I guess what you're looking for is... over there?" Koemi pointed a trembling finger towards the ominous black castle off in the distance.
Well... I guess that would seem like the obvious choice... wouldn't it?
Then it was time to move forward now! Koemi wasn't sure what was going to happen, or even what a little girl like Koemi could do. But if someone needed her help, she couldn't just refuse them, could she?

Stepping off the Trailmon in the Dark Area was a Leomon X wearing black clothing and a blue cape. The magical warrior named Lothar Junior or LJ for short was following the ways of the ninja but was not wearing the hooded mask since he wasn't involved in a stealth operation. Though to be honest the young Leomon X had no idea what drew him out to this dark forbidding place. Stepping away from the Trailmon he closed his brown eyes as he channeled his magic through his body and rose up and into the air flying with his magical field. Sure if he got in a fight it would fade and his control wasn't completely perfect but at least he wasn't just seemingly spontaneously floating off randomly anymore which made traveling without his holosuit in the Digital World much easier.
Floating calmly along he slowly increased his speed so he was now flying at a modest pace. Eventually he was flying through a wasteland and the dark clouds were making him feel uneasy. When he casually looked down he saw a human girl that couldn't of been more than ten give or take. Sure there were some tamers that were pretty young but to see one that young for himself was pretty mind blowing to him.
Deciding to be friendly he floated softly to the ground landing a few feet in front of the girl, he asked "Hey there, kid. What are you doing out here in this dark wasteland on your own? Don't worry I won't hurt you though."
OOC: Non Combat Passive Magical Field: LJ channels his magic throughout his body which allows him to lift himself off the ground and fly. The field is disrupted when he attacks. (Non Combat Passive)

Now, while Koemi may love fantasy stories, isekai wasn't Koemi's favorite subgenre. But she knew enough to expect all kinds of strange happenings. And that as a child savvy in a whole bunch of literary fiction, she was basically unstoppable.
But... a talking lion man with a giant freaking sword, long blue cloak, and dressed in a ninja garb? That was... a little too fantasy for little Koemi. She wanted to scream, but the lion man began talking to her, questioning her, and then said that he wouldn't hurt her.
Well... if he said that, then Koemi could trust him, right? She knew that lion-people were generally seen as good guys. Like that one lion through the wardrobe! Admittedly, this guy didn't give off the same vibes, but Koemi figured that she could at least trust this guy! Besides, if a guy this large decided that Koemi was going to be his next snack, there wasn't really a whole lot Koemi could do about it!
So... she might as well say hello back! "Hey there..." She answered, giving a wave with a trembling hand as she looked up at the giant furry monstrosity before her. "Umm... isn't it polite to introduce yourself first before asking someone questions?" Wait... Koemi hadn't introduced herself either, yet she asked the lion man a question! That meant Koemi was being rude now! Crap, crap, crap!
Koemi suddenly stood up straight as if a teacher had called on her in class. "S-Sakurako Koemi! But you can call me Koko, or Emi, or Koemi, or... anything you want! I'm pleased to meet you! I'm here because someone needed my help finding something! So..." She reached towards the bullet dangling around her neck, tied up by a string like a necklace.
Koemi, stay calm! Pikadan chastised, his voice only able to be heard within Koemi's head, though the sparkling couldn't be hidden. And I beseech you, do not let this stranger know about me! You can only hear me because you're currently wearing me, but it's best if as few people know about me as possible before I regain my full strength!
"Ah... sorry..." Koemi muttered aloud, then looked back up at the lion man. "I'm by myself, all alone!" She refused to make direct eye contact as she told her blatant lie, however. Koemi wasn't much of a liar. So she needed to change the topic, so she pointed towards the castle in the distance. "S-say, would you happen to know if there's a... holy... platinum thingy in that place over there?" 822/3000

LJ noticed the girl seemed a bit freaked out making him feel bad for scaring her. 'Smooth, Lothar Junior. Real smooth. I just pop out of nowhere landing near a young human kid and it's no wonder she's scared. After all I tower over her at seven feet so she probably thinks I plan to eat her or something.' LJ thought as he tried to figure out how to make things better as he didn't enjoy frightening kids.
Then when she mentioned it being polite to introduce himself before he started asking questions it made him want to kick himself for not doing that in the first place. "You're right I should of introduced myself right after popping suddenly out of the sky like that but I was concerned since you seem to be out here all alone. My name is Lothar Junior but you can call me LJ."
Then the girl stood up and introduced herself as if she was in school even though LJ hadn't used the surname he used while he was in school to introduce himself. "Nice to meet you, Koemi." LJ said keeping his posture as non aggressive as possible seeing as his height alone was imposing enough to a child that young. Then she mentioned someone asking her for help finding something showing him what looked like a bullet with some writing he didn't recognize before blantantly lying. Okay it seemed she wasn't willing to talk more about that bullet so the Leomon X didn't push it any further.
When she pointed to a castle in the distance while talking about a holy platinum thingy that perked LJ's attention even though the castle made him uneasy despite and being pitch black in color didn't help ease his nerves but he managed to keep his cool so as not to alarm Koemi. "I'm afraid that I don't know anything about that castle or this area as this is my first trip here."

"N-no! That's fine, really!" Koemi panicked, waving her arms up and down in a nervous frenzy as her talking speed increased tenfold. "It's-not-your-fault-that-you're-really-tall-and-I'm-not-used-to-seeing-lion-people-carrying-big-weapons-and-stuff-and-for-all-I-know-it-could-be-perfectly-normal-in-this-world-and-I'm-really-really-really-sorry-for-judging-you!"
She kept talking until she ran out of breath, and she stopped to take a deep breath. LJ used the girl's silence to introduce himself, and she nodded and gave him a nervous smile. LJ was a surprisingly normal name for a lion person. Maybe this fantasy world would be fairly easy to understand?
And while LJ tried to make his body language as non-threatening as possible, Koemi wasn't the best at reading that kind of stuff. But the Digimon didn't seem to be all that scary, all things considered. Also, he still hadn't murdered Koemi yet, so chances were he wasn't planning on doing so anytime soon. Or maybe it was because he didn't like the taste of humans, or Koemi was too bony to eat? Koemi should definitely hold off on eating a big meal until this guy was out of sight!
After that was... awkward silence. He seemed to be a visitor as well. So... what were they supposed to talk about now? She was a human girl and this was a lion man. What exactly did they have in common? "So... do you... like to read?" 1035

It seemed Koemi was still nervous but seeing how he not only towered over her but carried a big sword, who could blame her? 'I may be a giant compared to her but my size is nothing compared to Pops since he is a foot taller than myself.' LJ thought as he listened to Koemi's fast paced words while piecing together what she said. "It's okay. I hear that I'm tall a lot. Got the height from one of my parents. As for weapons, yes sometimes the digimon of this world carry them but most of the time it is for self defense." LJ said as he kept trying to calm Koemi down.
As an awkward silence passed over the two the thought of the curious writing on the bullet Koemi was carrying came back to mind. "Speaking of weapon's, Koemi, that is a strange bullet you have with you. I couldn't make out the writing but if it is connected to that somewhat creepy castle, we can take a look as long as we're careful." LJ said before wanting to hit himself. Curse that curiosity of his. If he was not more careful it would likely be his undoing but in that way he was like his Wizardmon parent other than being able to use magic. Then when Koemi asked if he liked to read, LJ said "Yes but I don't always get the chance to as I don't always have access to a book. One of my grandfathers though has a bunch of them which I read when I visit him."

Welp... could it be... this lion dude was actually nice? That was super neat! Maybe Koemi wouldn't get eaten, after all! Which was incredibly helpful. Koemi never wanted to become anyone's dinner.
LJ expressed interest in the bullet and Koemi instinctively wrapped her hand around it in a fluster. "Ah, this... it's... it's nothing special! I'm just... um... uh... Super hardcore into guns and wars and violence and stuff! I just love all of it!" She let loose a forced laugh that wouldn't convince anyone of anything.
Of course Koemi wasn't into guns or that kind of stuff! Futuristic laser pistols were acceptable, but she was way into swords and magic and stuff like that! Whenever people in fantasy stories started using guns it would immediately take her out of the story! But... today Koemi would just have to pretend to be a gun nut!
But... LJ did offer to help her look at the creepy castle!
This bodes well... having a Digimon that's... not in my state... would be a great help in finding the Platinum Angel Digiegg!
"Oh, so that's the name!" Koemi suddenly exclaimed, turning towards the lion man Digimon. "Mister LJ, there's a platinum... angel... egg... somewhere in that castle... probably! Can you help take me there? There might be dangerous and scary stuff... and I'm scared to do it with just the two of... just me! I'm scared to go there all by myself!"
100% smooth. 1276

After LJ expressed intrest in the bullet she wrapped her hand around it and began metioning in her fluster that she liked things like guns and wars causing him to quirk an eyebrow at this. He doubted she was into that kind of thing judging by what he had seen of her so far and the forced laugh confirmed his suspicions but she seemed like a nice enough huma, Maybe she was just somewhat strange.
Then she suddenly exclaimed something about a platinum angel digiegg. Could that of been a digimental perhaps? If that was the case, where was her partner digimon? Then she mentioned someone else. Could it have been something to do with that bullet? More questions kept piling up that there were no answers to as of yet. Maybe if he helped Koemi those answers would be revealed.
Deciding to play along he said "I don't blame you for feeling creeped out by that castle. I'm getting the same general vibes from that place. If there is anything dangerous then maybe I can use my magic or karate training to protect us while we look for this platinum angel digiegg."

Koemi was (not) a master of deception, and still it was evident that LJ knew that something was up. Koemi would have to redouble her efforts to convince him of... something, later. Regardless of Koemi's white lies and otherwise blatant lies, LJ had agreed to help her, and that was wonderful!
So not only was LJ a swordsman, but he also know magic and karate? That was certainly a varied skillset he had! Like... what kind of fighting style incorporated fencing, martial arts, and... magic? Come to think of it, how did magic work in this world? Was it a system that anyone could learn, or did you have to be part of a special bloodline or something? If it was the former, then did that mean that Koemi could become a... a wizard one day? That would be the best thing ever! Koemi had so many questions, and was excited to ask them, but there was something more important to take care of!
So instead Koemi made her way towards the dark, creepy, spooky castle that was clearly evil, judging by the pure black lightning that crashed down around it from time to time. And Koemi knew that black lightning only belonged to evil bad guys or anime edgelords. And either one of them spelled bad news for the little girl and her new lion friend and multi-classed swordsman/mage/monk.
And yet, as they got closer and closer towards the castle, it wasn't only darkness and evil. Near the top of the castle, there were two faint glimmers of light, twinkling like a pair of eyes in the castle's dark structure. One light was a glorious gold, and the other was a sparkling silver.
Well... Silver was kind of close to platinum, right? It probably got confused as such. So Koemi pointed towards the silver light and turned towards LJ. "Umm... I think that light over there is where we need to go, Mister LJ!" 1603/3000

The two of them made there way to the castle and as they got closer LJ shuddered as he could practically feel the evil radiating of the spooky place to begin with. That and the black lightning that struck from time to time definitely didn't help matters any. LJ was so on alert that he barely heard Koemi's words responding at first with a flick of one of his ears when she mentioned where they needed to go while pointing to what looked like a faint silver light. Looking where the young human indicated he squinted spotting the silver light as well as a curious gold one as well.
"Now the trick is getting up to that silver light. I can use my magic to fly but I haven't completely mastered it yet and I doubt either of us want to be near this castle any longer than we need to." LJ said as he looked as if in thought for a moment when a solution came to the Leomon X but how comfortable with this would Koemi be? "I have a form that can fly without magic involved though and I'm willing to carry you up to the silver light if you feel okay with it. I don't want to scare you suddenly if you are afraid of heights or falling though." LJ said facing Koemi awaiting her opinion on the matter.

Koemi nodded in acknowledgement. So from how LJ was speaking, he could apparently change forms at will. So he wasn't just some lion man, but instead some man who could turn into something like a lion? This world sure was strange... but LJ used magic, so maybe then he was using his magic to transform and stuff? That would probably make more sense...
"Okay! I won't be scared of being high up!" Koemi noted, as LJ would transform and carry her up towards the silver light.
Unfortunately for LJ, Koemi was definitely scared of being so high up! Once the transformed Digimon lifted her up and the girl realized how far above the ground she was, the ten-year-old wrapped her arms around LJ in what was a shockingly crushing grip, despite being such a small child. She was also kicking and screaming in a panic, which wasn't helping matters. Carrying her up there was probably a bit of a mistake, seeing as they likely could have just climbed their way up if the needed to.
Speaking the the castle, it gave an ominous skull-shape, giving off some serious Castle Grayskull vibes. Where each of the eye sockets were, there were the golden and silver lights twinkling faintly. A couple of times, a bolt of black lightning threatened to strike LJ. And whether they just missed the pair, LJ dodged out of their way, or batted them to the side would be up to him. So long as the writer's new character doesn't get disintegrated by black lightning on her very first thread, the writer didn't really care.
Once they got up to the eye socket chamber, they would find it surprisingly scarce, save for the single pedestal with one silver egg-like thingy placed upon it. The egg looked like a single wing wrapped around an object, as if it were trying to protect something, and naturally, glittered a dim silver light.
Oh yeah, and there was the glowing form of darkness that began to manifest as soon as LJ and Koemi set foot into the chamber, as well! But that probably wouldn't be a big deal at all, right? 1962/3000

LJ nodded and focused his energy on the digimental he needed for the cause before he said "Digi armor energize! Leomon X armor digivolve to... Karatenmon!" Now as a bipedal bird he had the ability to reach the lights much easier despite the risk of lightning. Lifting Koemi into one arm resting his taloned hand gently on her back he drew one of his swords and took flight.
Apparently Koemi wasn't as confident as she seemed when it came to flying as she tightened her grip kicking and screaming in panic. Beginning to pat her back in an attempt to comfort her also glad that his ears weren't so sensitive to sound as they were when he was Elecmon or Leomon X. "Shh, it's okay, Koemi. Just keep holding on and we'll be fine. Please stop kicking and screaming." he said feeling lost. Sure he was a bigger brother but he never had to deal with a panicking child while in flight.
As they got closer a closer view of the castle was seen. Making a move for the silver light while dodging some bolts while using his sword to parry others. Upon reaching the eye socket he flew in setting Koemi down catching sight of the egg on the pedestal which made LJ wonder if the other glowing light contained an egg as well. LJ was beginning to get an unsettling feeling as they entered the chamber as a shudder traveled through his black wings. Drawing his other sword LJ said "Koemi, keep your guard up while we go for the egg. Something doesn't feel right."

Thankfully it was a safe flight, despite Koemi's protests against possible meetings with gravity, and they made it towards. And it seemed like LJ was on his guard. Probably because there was swirling darkness taking shape right in front of them. That probably had something to do with it. Black lightning struck the darkness as it crackled about and then took the form of two dark creatures... one was kind of humanoid in shape, albeit a bit short and round, while the other looked like what was the cross between a vehicle and demonic insect. Though they stood before Koemi and LJ, looking ready for battle, they were completely expressionless, lacking anything resembling eyes or any facial features. SkullKnightmon and DeadlyAxemon... Or at least... what is left of them... Pikadan muttered. Koemi clutched the bullet in concern. "What does that mean... 'what's left'?" She asked, too scared to take another step forward. But there wasn't time to have a conversation, as the two dark, near-lifeless creatures charged forward, spear and axe in hand as they moved to annihilate the intruders!

Seemed like his sense of dread was on the money as two digimon materialized in the room near them in a swirl of darkness reminding him faintly of a foe of his parents but that was not the only unsettling thing about the pair. His wings shook nervously as he took in the lack of anything resembling facial features. Were these two even living beings or were they projections created by someone or something else. Not wanting to risk taking chances he glanced down at Koemi and said "I'll hold these two off. Get that egg since you came here looking for it."
Sure, as Karatenmon, LJ was an armor ultimate but with two opponents, champion or not, things would be a bit trickier to manage especially two on one. His midnight black wings began changing into a dark blue color similar to the dark blue on a Wizardmon's cape before he said "Alright time for you two to return to the shadows that birthed you. Feather Flare!" Flapping his wings he sent out a wave of blue fire in the direction of the two digimon showing he was not just some stupid kid to be easily picked on.
OOC: LJ launches his Feather Flare at the digimon who came out of the dark. Feather Flare: His black wings change into a dark blue resembling a Wizardmon's cape before he fires of a wave of blue fire with a flap of his wings.
