To the outside world, Kai Aizawa was a unnatural model student, one who managed to live up to a standard of excellence. On a bad day her lowest grades were eighty five percent. Her demeanor and grace was unwavering as she would go about her day. She wasn't the most popular, but she was well regarded in a few circles, her uncanny mind and her pleasing regal like charm, as well as a few stories of her taking charge during some projects had given her the nickname of Princess, one she doesn't affirm or deny herself. That was why no one suspected anything of her, her behavior was as reserved as ever, her body language showed no sign of tension, and she even kept to her normal day without fail. No one would have immediately suspected her of foul play, that is if they were purely human with no involvement in another world.
Kai made it through the day to her final class, World Literature, unaware of just how dangerous it would be for her to get close to the teacher. At the bottom of Kai's schoolbag was a tube that she got from her encounter in the digital world. It was large and grey, with two bulbs on either side, one black, one white, and ancient dialects of Digital Text was embedded along the tube. This was the drug that the Corrupted Dogmon and most likely the Corrupted Wisemon Kai encountered used for an unnatural gain of power. Kai did not want to leave it out of her sight and unprotected, so she had no choice but to carry it with her until she could make proper arrangements to have someone skilled analyze it.
Kai left her school bag at her feet during the class as she would finish her report on a foreign book, choosing the Hotel Royale, two days before it was due before she would stand up and walk over her teacher's desk, not aware of how risky her moves were as she handed in her work. "Here it is Mr. Sparkwood." Kai said handing it in ten minutes short of the end of glass.
To anyone who could sense Digital World Magic, there would be a heavy force weighing on their mind and soul, and the lack of data in the human world made it clear it was right in Kai's bag. On top of feeling immense, there would be a sense of duality and conflict, Light energy, Dark energy, Positive energy, Negative energy, harmony, and chaos, one could sense everything in the tube as they seemed to be shifting around. It almost felt quite alive but never there, almost like a heart beat or a scream out into the void on the senses of those able to tune into the arcane arts.

It started out as a normal day for the world literature teacher, Weston Sparkwood. Even with his classes that did have Digimon in them, nothing happened that wouldn't usually happen in a typical Japanese classroom. He was beginning to think that the whole day would be this peaceful and ordinary... that is, until his final class of the day rolled around. A class that held Weston's star pupil specifically: Kai Aizawa.
When Weston slid the door open and entered the classroom, he could almost immediately tell that something felt wrong. It was a weird feeling, a feeling that Weston confused as just slight nausea at the start. But as Weston got closer and closer to his desk, the feeling grew more and more, to the point where he just had to sit down and process it all. "G-Good afternoon, class," Weston announced, his teaching energy having vanished. "I did have a plan with you all today, but I am admittedly not feeling the best... today will be dedicated to silently finishing up your book reports."
As he watched his students work, Weston observed the room to see just where this ominous source was coming from. It felt conflicting to him, at best. A sense of duality and conflict... and it all seemed to be shifting around in one place. Thankfully, it didn't take long for Weston to determine this energy's point of origin... Aizawa's bag? What... what trickery was this? Kai was just a student... was there something dangerous of digital origin truly in her bag?
Expectedly, Kai walked up to Weston's desk and handed in her report, finished two days before the due date as per usual with the star student. "I'm impressed, Aizawa... hopefully you didn't rush it just to be the first one to finish, but I doubt that would be something you'd do." He had to keep up the appearance... if he outed her with the rest of the class still here, it would be disastrous.
Finally, the end of the day bell rang, allowing the class the chance to grab their things and go home. "Remember, everyone, your reports are due on Friday, so please have them ready before class by then." As Kai was leaving, however, Weston would be sure to stop her before she could do such a thing. "Aizawa, I would like to have a word with you before you go home, if you would..." He would then say this next part quietly, so only she could hear him. "...particularly about the troubling presence inside your bag."

Kai could tell her teacher was not in the best of spirits, she just assumed he had a bad lunch or was coming down with a sickness. However she was not quite able to be any level of certain or uncertain if it had something to do with what was in her shoulder bag as she would hear her teacher call on her to stay behind after class as she was walking towards the door. Kai was apprehensive but not willing to immediately panic as she would stop carefully, she took a moment to step aside, adjusting her bag a bit as she let her peers vacate the room. Mentally she was alarmed and concerned, however she knew she couldn't flip out as she would step aside, not yet turning to face her teacher until everyone was out of the room in less then a minute.
However that minute was all she needed as she raced her mind tom concoct a fable trying to fluster her teacher into a state of awkwardness so that he wouldn't be willing to speak. "Alright, I need to carefully word this, make it so he'd be offput so I can make an escape. On a balance of outcomes, a little humiliation is easier to work with." She said as she would start to turn around as she was pretending to be embarrassed as she looked at her teacher.
"Oh, did it slip out of my bag, I am sorry, I didn't see anything. See I was helping put up pinned notices on some billboards after lunch and there was an accident, you know how rowdy some boys can get when they fool around, well, as I was putting up a pin I got knocked over by accident and..." She said fidgeting around, she watched her father lie his ass off with a few great performances to know how to pull off a similar lie herself. "The pin slipped in, it got caught and cut my skin, luckily it didn't spill out into my blouse but, well, after switching out for my sports one I had to put it somewhere, thought I buried it at the bottom I swear!" She said as she was acting flustered, quite convincing as she tried to use awkwardly dancing around a subject to both confuse and fluster the man into avoiding any confrontation whatsoever.
However Kai had a feeling she needed to prepare for what may come, even if she had to reach for her Xros Loader under her blazer if necessary.

Weston could tell that Kai was hiding something. While she did her best to hide it, her facial expression and her body movements said it all. If she was truly not hiding something, she would've acted confused and wouldn't have hesitated like she did. He simply sat at the desk, holding his hands together as he waited for Kai to come up with a decent explanation for just why her bag was giving off such an obscure dark magical signature. And wow, did she give quite a performance. She was going on and on about how she was putting up pinned notices on the billboards after lunch, and she cut herself thanks to some of the boys being rowdy and some blood got onto her bra in the process. Weston's eyes tightened a bit... he could tell what she was doing. She was fibbing a made-up awkward situation in hopes that Weston would just drop the whole thing. And if he wasn't a Digimon, he probably would have fallen for it. But bras aren't known for emitting such conflicting magical energies now, were they? That was also when Weston noticed that Kai was reaching her hand into her blazer, as if she was about to pull something out. Something like... a Digivice, perhaps? Weston couldn't be sure, but he didn't know what else she could be pulling out, aside from a knife... but Kai didn't seem like the type to carry a knife with her. It had to be a Digivice of some kind.
Weston closed his eyes as his lips formed into a small smile. "That confirms it," he says, reopening his eyes and getting up from his desk. "You're clearly hiding something from me. Trying to make up an awkward situation in hopes that I would become confused and awkward myself, thus making me want to drop the subject entirely. Frankly, it was your over-acting that caused me to become suspicious. Now why don't you just put that Digivice away and tell me what you truly have in your bag, hm?"

"How does he know?" Kai thought as there was a slight twitch in her eye but her body language was well honed to not give much away when it came to her emotions. She was trained tp be able to give a press statement on a moments notice that would help her be neutral. She ran several simulations in her head and she found that it was not going to end well. However she still had one ace up her sleeve that Weston would have no way of knowing if he wasn't keen to Kai's involvement with Deeplane and the fact her Fusion Loader is pointed with the screen away from her body in her blazer, and that members of Deeplane Council have a rather, unique modification to the Digivice allowing for the device to interpret the will of the user and act remotely.
"In all fairness I was counting on someone overhearing us and making this further awkward after dragging this out for the effect and putting you in a difficult position to question me." She said as she recalled her mother using that to get out of questioning by police several times. With Weston getting up, Kai merely glared up at him not admitting defeat but she was definitely a snake in some regards, though her intentions were rooted in some form of goodness.
"Since your human, and already aware, I suppose there's little harm in telling you, save a minor risk of an Omegamon Zwart D coming after you, he did hold me at gunpoint though before putting a blade to my temple." She said calmly, she knew if he was aware of the Digital World and may be able to picture what she was talking about, she shifted her bag away from Weston.
"I found a, unnatural booster for power in the Digital World, I met two users who, met unsavory and explosive ends cause of it. I wanted to warn the second and talk him down from using them, but it was too late as I learned how bad the mental degradation got as well. Turns out he was being monitored as part of experiments and when the second one died, the Omegamon Zwart D came and and reclaimed the remaining unused samples, save for one I managed to hide, that I am going to take to Deeplane later." She said as she was hoping that bit of honestly would earn some leniency, especially if this man was a human. "It's better if few Digimon knew about this, it makes Champions capable of easily beating several ultimates at once, and allowed a Wisemon to break reality."

Weston knew by the look in Kai's eyes that he had her cornered in some way. The way she glared at him after he declared that he hadn't fallen for Kai's trick, and the fact that he correctly guessed that she had a Digivice. Weston wasn't doing what he was doing for no reason, however. It was because of whatever Kai had in her bag that was making someone like him feel ill, so he had to be sure she wasn't using whatever it was for malicious intent (or the more likely scenario, which was the object exploding in her bag and killing her instantly.)
What Kai said next stunned Weston a bit. She finally gave in to tell the truth, but warned Weston of a minor risk that an Omegamon Zwart D would come after him, calmly stating that he had a blade pointed right at her before. Weston's eyes widened considerably. "Omegamon Zwart D... an Omegamon Zwart injected with a virus program, causing it to go berserk... a twisted perversion of the Royal Knight..." The mental image of one holding her at gunpoint did not sit well with the magical 'mon in the slightest. "Aizawa, what kind of madness have you gotten yourself into?"
Weston listened intently as Kai went on to explain everything, about how she found an unnatural booster in the Digital World. Two users of this booster had seemed to just up and explode, according to her. The second of these users was apparently being monitored by said Omegamon Zwart D as part of certain experiments. "They're experimenting... on living Digimon..." Weston said with a gasp. It all too painfully reminded him of his time being locked away by the Grandmaster...
Kai then said that Zwart took all the remaining samples of this booster, minus the one that she hid that was currently in her bag. She mentioned how few Digimon should know about this, as it gave Champions the power to fight multiple Ultimates, and allowed a Wisemon to break reality. Weston gave a dire look at Kai. "The Wisemon under the influence broke our reality? This could have detrimental effects on our universe as we know it... Aizawa, because you shared this information with me, I must share something with you. I know that you do not have a good experience with Wisemons but please do not let that affect how you treat me..."
Weston then began to glow and morph out of his human disguise, changing and shifting into the cloaked Digimon known as Wisemon before Kai's very eyes. Because he was so tall compared to her, he made it a point to sit down on his knees before proceeding to speak to Kai once more. "This is my true form, Aizawa: a Wisemon. If the Wisemon you encountered did as you said, then I cannot imagine how horrifying of an experience that was for you. I am not that Wisemon, I am not going to explode on you, that much I can promise. I just need you to either hand me this unnatural booster of yours, or come with me to my home so we can examine it together. But I cannot, in good confidence, leave it with you. Do you understand?"

Kai was not sure why Weston was talking about Kai needing to remain calm but as soon as she saw her teacher's form start to shift she realized she didn't see him fidget with a Digivice that spirit users possess, meaning that the answer was obvious, that her teacher wasn't human but a Digimon using a Holosuit as a disguise. She would start to recognize the form Weston was taking and her eyes widened, her heart beat was pounding as the intellect dominated mind was flooded with a singular, primal, overpowering feeling, fear. "Someone... anyone, save me." Kai thought as she would start to panic, her logic dominated mind was failing her for once and what should be keen senses were no longer registering words as there was a ringing in her ears as Weston was trying to talk to her. The fact that Wisemon don't possess a visible mouth would make it awkward as well as Kai would slowly back up, stumbling.
In Kai's mind the memory of the horrific sight of the malforming Wisemon, the photorealistic eye that seemed ready to burst, the constant shifting of the body parts that tore apart into dark energy appendages, holding Tera's near lifeless body in her arms. Kai's composed nature seemed to be stricken like her breath, her hands were trembling before she would be able to act in that moment as she saw the data of her core partner fragmenting in her mind. She quickly reached into her pocket as she would grab several salt packets from her pocket, tearing them open with her nails before she would try to toss them at Weston's face before she would jump back. She had high stamina, but her coordination was definitely off. Sweat was coming off her rapidly as she would be barely able to discern reality from her nightmares. "Not again... No... Digi... Digi..." She said as she was struggling to remain stable and conscious.
She tossed a chair at Weston as she tried backing up before suddenly her right leg betrayed her. Her Digivice under her chest started to light up as it was seemingly respoding to her voice. Kai tried grabbing a desk for support "Digi.. Xros..." She said weakly before the overwhelming experience would finally get to Kai as she would fall unconscious as her Xros Loader stopped glowing, since Kai couldn't finish her thoughts she was not able to properly release anyone before her body would hit the floor with tears escaping her eyes from her emotionless expression, her eyes still open, soulless before they would close against any remaining will she had left. However she was not dead, merely suffering a brutal panic attack that knocked her out.

Weston had a feeling he made quite a grave error when he saw the look on Kai's face after he had dispelled his glamour spell. He knew that kind of look all too well... a look of grave terror, a great trauma that had been unearthed, the feeling that they were going to die... Weston could tell it all from her face. He had the feeling she couldn't even hear his words right now, making any form of communication ultimately pointless at the moment.
This Wisemon she mentioned must be worse than I anticipated.
Kai's usually composed nature was also shattered, as she grabbed several salt packets from her pockets and opened them up before throwing them at Weston. What the salt was meant to accomplish, the Wisemon did not know. He just briefly closed his eyes as the salt was thrown at him, allowing Kai to be able to back away. The whole time Weston did not move a muscle, aside from when he stepped to the side after Kai had thrown a chair at him... he did not want to worsen this panic attack any more than he already unintentionally had.
Finally, right when it seemed like Kai would summon a Digimon of her own, her legs gave out before she ultimately fell to the floor, unconscious. Weston sweat-dropped, as this was not the only time a teenage girl he had revealed himself to had fainted. "Perhaps it would be better to not tell human girls what I really am..." Weston couldn't help but mutter to himself as he looked down at the unconscious Kai Aizawa.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps... someone was coming this way. Weston couldn't let himself or Kai be seen like this. Quickly opening a portal, he would pick up Kai (as well as her bag) and simply walk through the portal. It would then close right before someone opened up the door, as if it were never there...
When Kai would finally awaken, she would find herself in a rather cozy room. A kind of inn room that you'd find in a fantasy RPG world, if one had to make comparisons. She was neatly tucked underneath some blankets, rather comfortable ones too. To her right would be an end table, which housed her Xros Loader, a tall glass of lemonade, a plate of rice balls, and a piece of paper addressed to "Aizawa." She would also find her shoes and her school bag right next to the end table as well.
If she were to get up and pick up the piece of paper addressed to her, she would find that the paper read as follows:
Aizawa
You are currently in my house in the Digital World. You are in a guest bedroom on the first floor, and I am currently in my study on the second floor studying that vial you had in your bag. I trust that you can find the exit and make your way back home once you are well enough to do so without having to come into contact with me.
Unfortunately, that vial now belongs to me as I cannot let you take it with you after all of this. As of writing this note, I do not yet know the means of which this substance was created, but that is even more reason that I cannot let you take it in good conscience. Please do not pursue this Omegamon Zwart D, as I have deemed them to be far too dangerous. This is officially out of your hands, and must be informed to groups such as AEGIS, KIZNA, and the 7/71st. You are one of my favorite students, and I do not wish to put you in harm's way.
Lastly... I am dreadfully sorry about earlier. Had I know than your experience with that Wisemon before was truly that traumatizing, I would never have revealed myself to you the way I did. I do not want our relationship to be tarnished because of it. I do not want to lose you as a student, Aizawa. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
Sincerely, Weston Sparkwood
