Hiro looked down at the napkin in bemusement. He really didn't know why she had given them her own phone number. They were the ones with all the answers not questions, shouldn't she have gotten their own numbers. Hiro sighed and pulled a pen out of his bag and jotted down his own cell number before handing over to A.J.
"Here, you can have this. If you have any problems or just need something translated just call me. I'm not really in any clubs or anything, so don't worry about bothering me." Hiro said as he handed over the napkin to A.J. "And I guess if you can find any information on the whole, spirit things you can call Carrie."
Hiro hummed as the lunch bell rang and Carrie gathered her things and left the rooftop. He snatched Tetsu off the ground and tossed him lightly into his bag. The digimon laughing merrily at the flipping motion before quieting down when Hiro shushed him.
"Well, back to the grind." Hiro stretched his arms upwards and looked over at A.J. with a wiry grin. "Like I said before, if you need any help, just call."
"Mmm, we're Heroes after all." Tetsu called out as Hiro started off towards class.

She sees them walking in a straight line, that's not really her style. And they all got the same heartbeat, but hers is falling behind. Nothing in this world could ever bring them down. Yeah, they're invincible, and she's just in the background.
Avery looked down at the piece of torn napkin in her hand and blinked. The girl had stuttered on about not sure if she wanted a partner and was gone. It was just then that the bell rang and AJ realized that meant lunch was over. Well, at least bell rings were universal in the world.
She cast Hiro a worried look. She was truly worried about the girl. What if she did find her partner, but things didn't work out? It seemed after you were paired with a Digimon, others came looking for you. What if the girl didn't have one to protect her? She sighed and glanced down at the piece of paper he was handing her. She took it with her other hand and looked down at the scrawl.
When she looked back up, he was already heading back into the school, but smiling back at her. She smiled too, a slight and soft one, and nodded. "Okay."
She made her way over to where her backpack was. After nestling Patch down onto her jacket, she grabbed her backpack and slid her arms into. Making her way down the stairs, she just wondered what was going to happen next.
