(As you all know, plot threads are open threads. So feel free to step in and defend Snowflake village, because if you don't, it'll be a pile of ash~ Also as a friendly reminder: If you're already in a plot thread you cannot be in two thanks "I didn't ask you about who've you killed, Claws. I simply want to know how many live in the village. The Zodiac digimon spoke in a growl, circling the Ebidramon, someone who was rumored to be the local 'legend' around the village, who collected and ate Digimon. Supposedly. The Caturamon wasn't buying it, sure maybe he prayed on the weak, but being an actual threat was a laughable idea. The lobster Digimon continued his masqueraded: "I told you that I've killed hundreds! I'll simply tack you on my list-"
Without hesitation Caturamon rushed Ebidramon, and before the lobster could react, he would find himself split in half by a sword that was gripped in the canine's mouth. His data flowing into the air as he raised a claw, then fell over, breaking apart as he hit the ground. His data flowed into the sword, causing the dark blade to glow purple as Caturamon laughed and stepped out of the cave, a large horde of random digimon were waiting for him as the sword vanished. The two stood next to him as he focused his vision on the village below... It was time to show the digital world who the Deva were and what they were capable of.
The two digimon waited by his side as he spoke; "Go, destroy the village, capture over kill, but kill if you need to."As soon as he finished his sentence he gave out a roar that echoed through the woods, and shook the very village to the core as hundreds of digimon of all kinds began moving to the village. Painted and adorned in red, the horde moved as the Caturamon stood back, watching his force rush the unsuspecting village in numbers. This was going to an easy take, and no doubt would make Zephyrus happy. He might even allow the canine to take on the human world. It was time those arrogant apes were shown who the real threat was. But for now, he had plans for this village, and wanted the sword entrusted to him to be fed with the data of his fallen foes. With orders to capture and only kill if needbe, the village was close to being erased from history. He didn't expect a fight from anyone or anything, as Claws, the local threat, was his only concern. His hope was that tamers were in the village, they were his favorite morsel, and spirits made good dessert. The digital world thought it knew peace, the Devas were here to show that they were wrong. Dead wrong. (You have one week, DFRP)

"VROOOOM~!"
A Motorcycle ran fast to the Snowflake village, as if it was charging for some reason. It then stopped near the village. The rider, an orange-haired busty girl in black sports bra and blue jeans under blue hoodie with orange-armored samurai image on the back, dismounted from the bike. At some point, an Agumon in spacesuit flew with the rocket on his right arm before he landed.
Those figures, Ryoko and Ryusei respectively, heard about the attack in Snowflake and quickly came in emergency. These bad guys started acting, and it was time to teach them a lesson. "Let's kick his ass! Ryusei!" Ryoko exclaimed as she activated Astro module S-1 from her Digivice.
ROCKET! UPGRADE! The Digivice announced.
Soon, another Rocket Module appeared on Ryusei's left arm, and then...
ROCKET! SUPER!
Ryusei's body shined as the evolution began!
[DIGIVOLUTION SEQUENCE]
SPACEAGUMON, WARP DIGIVOLVE, TO...
In background of data matrices, SpaceAgumon's body shined as he gained a pair of rocket-shaped gauntlets, flying through the rings of data as his body grew taller into 6 feet tall with humanoid shape. As he went through to the space, Ryusei's body now had a silver space suit with blue chest armor. He then gained a skirt armor that had a status display on the center, and a pair of rocket thrusters on the waist. Whilst the Module Ports for the legs stayed same, the shoes became red in color. Ryusei gained a space shuttle-like mask and long, ponytailed orange hair. On the back, a shuttle of some sort landed. The right Rocket Module gained a drill and clawed tip, while the left gained chainsaw-like scissors.
The Digivolution sequence completed, and Ryusei digivolved into...
"ASTROGREYMON!"
[DIGIVOLUTION SEQUENCE ENDED]
After the light faded. Ryusei now Digivolved into AstroGreymon!
"Uchuu... KITAAAAAAAA~!" Ryusei screamed in joy after digivolved. Now it was time to kick a canine butt. "I'm Ryusei the AstroGreymon! Time to settle this mano-to-mano!"
Ryusei then charged his both Rocket Modules, so he flew, charging towards the horde of Digimons, seeming to be Caturamon's lackeys before began spinning in aileron roll.
"Rider... TRIDENT KIRIMOMI CRUSHEEEEER~!" Ryusei shouted as he charged and spun in high speed, attempting to skewer through some of the horde of attacking Digimons with his both Rocket Modules and his head.

Inside the village, no one had expected an attack. The people in it assumed that Claws, given his reputation, would take care of the invaders. So, everyone had continued they're own lives, without any major worries, eating, drinking, working sleeping. But now the city would have to count on the few that did prepare to defend them until the rest of the defenses were set up. Still, one of those people, one who had heard of the invaders and came to help, believed it was impossible that those tiny village defenses would stand against a horde and a digimon as powerfull as he thought the Caturamon should be. That was Elson. And now was time to war.
"Elson. We can beat them?" a mole-like digimon said next to him. Drimogemon, Elson's third partner.
"You doubt our general? Between him and me, I think we heated worse." Silversteamdramon, a small metallic dragon with an eletric sword replied. He had been Elson's first partner.
"I don't think so, Silversteamdramon, but I'm sure we'll get through this." Elson stated.
"But if we don't are strong enought...then what?" Tinkermon, a tiny, child-like faiiry digimon asked behind Charles. He turned to her, his second partner.
"Then we'll give as a piece offering since you're pretty." Elson responded.
"Ooooh, you really think I'm pretty? Thank you!" Tinkermon said blushing, not realising the implications of Elson's statement.
"Am I pretty too?" Drimogemon inquired.
"Of course you are, my little mole!" Tinkermon almost shouting, hugging the mole.
"Should we be going then, my general?" Silversteamdramon requested.
"Yes. We'll get'em by air, where it will be easier to hit the biggest amount of them, while getting hit the least possible." Elson answered and he lifted his fusion loader "Silversteamdramon, Tinkermon, digi-fuse!"
A flash of light later, Silversteamdramon-T was in front of Elson. The digimon took flight and flied over the invanding army.
"Eletric Rain!" Silversteamdramon-T shouted before a rain of eletric dust came falling from his wings, with the machine hoping it would hit a large amount of enemies.
Meaningwhile, Drimogemon awaited orders.
"Drimogemon, dig down and find us some allies from outside the city. Whoever is leading this army won't be easy to take down. Focus on finding humans, but ultimate or higher digimon will also do. Make sure to be safe before digging up."
The mole nodded and digged down.

It just so happened that Majin and Shadow were nearby, on their constant exploration of the Digital World. They meant to explore in order to seek out valuable resources for their incoming plans, but something seemed amiss. A powerful roar echoed from the nearby village... It seemed... odd. This place was sparsely populated, and mostly uneventful. Heck, Majin had barely touched this area despite all his travels.
Still, the only place he had explored here, up in the mountains, had resulted to be a pretty interesting and very dangerous place. The ruins of an ancient civilization laid there, and their guardians almost killed the duo and several teammates, if they hadn't outwitted them. Considering that, perhaps it was best if they checked up on the village.
The orb encasing them both took a sharp turn, and they were on their way towards it.
---
Soon, they could see for themselves that things were awfully wrong here. A bigger digimon stood on the flank, seemingly commanding them, while a rather vast army of digimon advanced towards the village. Such a cowardly act. Snowflake Village was hardly a fortified place. It's inhabitants had counted on it's remoteness and uninteresting atmosphere for so long that they hadn't bothered to have an active military force to keep them safe, perhaps they hoped other cities would potentially help them if it came down to it.
But on this day, help from the outside would probably come too late.
Majin sighed. It seemed his plans had to be set back a bit. Still, training was always good. Even if it was with such vermin. Even as a human, he knew none of the hostile a here were a match for Azramon.
"Shadow, let's go Super Mega. Let me out." the human said, and the digimon silently nodded. The sphere carrying them vanished, causing the human to start falling at high speeds towards the battlegrounds. Majin grabbed his digivice, and near-instantly, Shadow's body turned into black lightning, striking the human's body.
The amalgamation of tamer and digimon formed an orb of black, quickly shooting down to the ground below. The impact caused a small shockwave to be unleashed around him, but nothing too powerful. Before the orb could dissipate, several tendrils shot out of it, cracking it and potentially impaling some of the rushing hostiles.
Azramon then stood up straight from a crouching position. He surveyed the area, then stopped when he spotted the bigger digimon in the back. He crossed his arms and smirked, as his tendrils extended out like snakes all around him.

Had he been avoiding the Digital World? Yes. Did he not want to get involved in any more Digital Tragedies? Yes. Were innocent people and Digimon being threatened? Well...yes. You see, having as many connections in the Digital World that he did, it was hard for Darian to not be made aware of certain things happening. The jungle was being attacked, Whitewater was being decimated, Terminus was hit, and now Snowflake Village was also a target?
Not this time.
A portal opened just above the ground of the village, and from it, two humans fell to the ground. Darian himself and his blue haired partner Gabe. Darian almost instantly complained about the cold, though he kept it to himself feeling as if petty complaints weren't necessary or appropriate at the moment. Gabe though, Gabe instantly felt a shrill chill spread through his spine. The same chill he always got when the presence of powerful forces were around him.
"Darian. We're surrounded."
Darian looked ahead of the village. He could already spot the large army of Digimon advancing towards the village. They also seemed to be being commanded by something, another Digimon it looked like. Taking a quick look around himself though, he spotted a few other humans and Digimon, two of which he even recognized. There was a kid with a large sum of Digimon, some of those Digimon even combined together before taking to the battle.
The two he recognized though were a sight that he was glad to have present. There was Ryoko and her Digimon Ryusei. Darian and Gabe remembered them from one of the previous tournaments, they were strong contenders and would surely put up quite a fight. Then there was Azramon. Darian had both fought against and beside this Super Mega. He was very powerful, hopefully they were on the same side this time.
Unclasping his D-Arc from his hip, he gripped it tightly, knowing the battle to come wouldn't be an easy one.
"Let's do this."
"Right!"
An explosive white light erupted around tamer and Digimon, covering them from head to toe as the Digivolution began. Once again allowing himself to merge with the raw power of his partnered Digimon, Darian was almost glad to be back in action after his extended break.
"Biomerge Digivolution to......Merukimon!"
Instead of charging straight into the battle, Merukimon became a sentry at the front of the village. While the others began their battle, he would strike at the next moment. As soon as he saw his first opportunity. Muttering the name of his Shaman Voodoo attack, he felt his already over the top speed reach its new temporary limit. Drawing his Azteca dagger and glaring out into the battlefield, Merukimon waited for the perfect target to open its defenses.

With a groan, the Deva sent his first wave, watching as the Super-megas easily pushed through his first couple dozen digimon, all of which were about the level of Champion. Honestly, it was rather pathetic that his men couldn't overwhelm the pathetic humans. But three super-megas were a problem. With another roar the army halted in an instance, and Caturamon leaped from atop of a nearby vantage point, the sword hidden in his data making his blindingly fast, faster than most would expect from an ultimate. He stood in front of all three Supermegas, laughing as he spoke;
"Weak, pathetic humans. Relying on Digimon as always. I've heard of you Darian, where's your squad of rejects? And Majin. I'm guessing Luminas was too much? No worries, they're our next target." he looked to the girl who arrived on the motorcycle, "Cannot say I've heard of you, but you'll die all the same."[/b]
He growled as he paced around them, the data from his fallen digimon streaming into his sword, which was still hidden within him;
"I was supposed to only keep an observation role, but I can't have you tearing into my army so easily."
With a howl, a shockwave escaped the deva, sending snow and other debris high into the air as the wave would engulf the supermegas, the only escape would be to leave the village. Forcing all Digimon in the area to be forced to the level of Champion. Dodging this was an option, but the moment they stay in a three mile radius they would be forced back to champion. Something that Caturamon had planned on since he started this raid.
The dog deva laughed as he would watch their reactions, then leap high into the air to land back on his vantage point. With another roar his army began moving again, and this time, he sent in a single mega, laughing as he watched with much anticipation, perhaps the humans could be competent and lead their digimon into victory... but Caturamon would make sure that didn't happen. He could kill them, rather easily, but he knew erasing them wouldn't prove anything, no. He wanted their digimon to die, he wanted to watch the humans cower in fear. He wanted to watch them cry for their digimon, knowing they were helpless to do anything. He lavished in this, and his army would do his bidding without question.
He spoke, which carried out through the village; "Kill the digimon, bring me the humans."
With another howl, a second shockwave went through the village, and hundreds of digimon congregated around the outskirts. If these humans were smart, they would make like the cowards they were and flee. Otherwise, they might find defending this village much harder than anticipated.
((OOC: ALL DIGIMON ARE NOW CHAMPS, REGARDLESS OF LEVEL. THREE POSTS UNTIL ULTIMATE. RUNNING IS AN OPTION, THERE WILL BE MORE/BETTER CHANCES.))

The Caturamon unleashed a shockwave, which Ryusei tried to guard against, but he took the hit and his body started... shining. "Ryusei!" Ryoko shouted.
Suddenly, Ryoko's D-3 began activating the Astro Module without Ryoko's control or Ryusei's command.
FIRE, ON.
Ryusei's body began change from the humanoid into the more saurian figure, and the rocket gauntlets and shuttle wing-packs disappeared. As the light faded, Ryusei now changed into the red Greymon-type Digimon with red fire suit and a fire decal on the red shuttle-like face shell. On his right shoulder was a large cannon, connected to his backpack with the tubes.
That's right, Ryusei had digivolved into his Champion form, FireGreymon.
"Dafuq?!" Ryusei gawked at this sudden change, to his dismay. "Y'sonnafabitch!" Ryoko cursed at the dog Deva.
The Caturamon then sent out a mega Digimon and horde of Champions. With Ryusei forced to assume his Champion form, this became harder than he expected. At least for the time being. Ryusei then aimed the cannon, Hee-Hack Gun at the horde of Digimons, rapid-firing them with bullets of flame.
The popstar tomboy grimaced, now Caturamon began playing dirty. Ryusei had to avoid the Mega at all cost.

It seemed to be going fine. Silversteamdramon-T was being able to wipe out a large porsion of the army easily. In fact with the help from the super-mega digimon (which would never cease to impress Silversteamdramon) it was being way TOO easy. And that was proven when SIlversteamdramon-T felt the shockwave coming and saw as Ryoko`s digimon reverted to champion. That was worrysome. The army probably wouldn`t be able to deal with them anyway, but now the Caturamon was much more likely to strike them down (and the village) since the only one who didn´t have to run or was reverted was Silversteamdramon-T because he arledy was a champion. Still, they`d have to deal with it.
Drimogemon was confused. He could sense a TON of humans, yet he had to choose one. But where? Who? He choose to go after the sense to his right, digging to the place where the human should be. Well, not human anymore, a biomerge. Drimogemon digged up and saw the Merukimon standing at the guard of the city.
"Hi there!" Drimogemon greeted. "I`m come in peace, on the behalf of the general Elson Shradder, up there in what the villagers have to replace a Wall. Anyway, Elson is seeking any potential allies to discuss a battle plan beyond standing a beating everyone. I know it seems to be going fine so far, but..."
Then Drimogemon felt the shockwave that would reduce the digimons to champion.

Azramon's shadowy tendrils still slithered about, picking off the unfortunate grunts that dared come too close to him. Soon enough, a second bright flash covered most of the area - a rising power level alerted the demon of a second Super Mega nearby. He scanned the area, distinguishing Merukimon in the distance.
They had fought together against Despair and his tamer. Compared to that suicidal mission, this was nothing. They would make short work of these wannabes.
Caturamon addressed them, referring to Luminas when talking about Majin. This caught Majin a bit off guard. How could he know all that? Not that it mattered.
"Heh, perhaps. But you won't be the same." the demonic entity said sarcastically, shrugging and grinning.
Yet, the deva howled, kicking up snow and debri all over them. The Super Mega's tendrils grouped together in front of him, protecting him from the minimal damage... But that wasn't it's goal, seemingly.
Something strange happened. Suddenly, the Super Mega was split back into it's components. Majin and Shadow looked at each other, confused.
This was about the year's cheapest move so far. And on an ultimate? Ridiculous. But it happened. The dog deva jumped back to his vantage point, and the duo used this time to get on a barrier and fly away from the frontlines, down to the edge of the village, were Merukimon once stood, now, assumedly, Darian and Gabe.
Another shockwave burst through the area, sending them tumbling down to the snow below. But they were near enough already. Not only was Darian and his digimon nearby, but there seemed to be another girl and some sort of Greymon fighting elsewhere... And a Drimogemon seemed to be talking to the fellow male tamer. Majin took out his digivice and after some searching found the perfect card for the time being. He slashed it promptly.
Card Name: Super Particle Accelerator Type: Upgrade Rank: Chrome Digizoid Duration: 3 Post(s) Effect: The target Digimon triples in size for three turns.
"Shadow, do something while I go talk with Darian." the white haired tamer said, bounding across the snow. He approached the tamer, giving a sort of military-like, loose salute as he smirked. He glanced at the Drimogemon, but there were more pressing matters to address.
"So we meet again. he said, before continuing, "Got a plan? I assume this town must have some mining equipment - perhaps dynamite or some other explosives. Your Drimogemon pal could be useful for transporting them underground." he said.
"We could throw them across the field and detonate them when the incoming troops come close." he added.
Meanwhile, Shadow started growing as soon as his tamer slashed the card. Near-instantly, the magician grew to thrice his size - around twelve feet. And he had the perfect attack for this. He focused and started chanting, magical energies gathering around him and seals forming below him.
"Great fire of genesis - light of blessing which nurtures life, and light of judgement which punishes the wicked - while it brings a gentle fortune, at the same time, it is the fiery misfortune which annihilates the cold darkness!
It's name; fire. It's meaning; kill thy enemy.
It's role; the sword!
Show yourself! Devour their bodies and show me your might! Ignis!"
The seals manifested around a triangular area, fifty feet long at it's longest, where the summon would be located at. A great explosion took place within the seals, the flames quickly rising up, superheating further and forming a body of near plasma, standing at 60 feet. The creature clenched it's fiery fists and let out a terrible roar.
"Ash to ash... Dust to dust... Crimson Sword!" Shadow finished, the final sentence being an order for the fiery golem as it lifted one of it's arms and a sword of flames formed in his grasp. It quickly slashed sideways, a column of flames rising up before at least some of the advancing forces...

Merukimon, still waiting for the proper chance to pounce, smirked as Caturamon actually addressed him directly. Within though, Darian sneered, was he really still that well known in the Digital World? Did every bloody villain in the world need to know his real name? It was infuriating, what ever happened to anonymity? No matter though, he would crush this Ultimate and all of his cronies easily. Slightly taken off guard by a 'hi there', Merukimon glanced over his shoulder. A Drimogemon just appeared out of nowhere. It spoke things about how it was related to a general..Elson was it? He wanted to discuss a battle plan? Ehh, Merukimon really wasn't in the mood to have to fight an army and work around lower level Digimon that could only end up as a liability. But, when he thought about it, they really could use all the help. "I'm willing to come up with a plan, but there isn't much else we can do other than force them away. If you need a plan that'll work, defend civilians and push back anything that gets near the village bor-hm?" In the corner of his eye Merukimon spotted his chance, the opening he needed. The dog was in the front, and it looked like it was going to display some sort of howl of power. A move of arrogance that was the perfect chance for Merukimon to take his head off. With a step forward, Merukimon would've disappeared in his usual blindingly fast sprint, but both Gabe and Darian were pushed back to an alarming halt. It was a second later, but their form dissipated around them, leaving the Super Mega to return to the form of a fragile human and....champion? Gabe, now in his Reptiledramon form, spread his wings in defiance and growled as he was ripped from his most powerful form. What type of voodoo crap was that? He'd never seen a degivolution ability before. Darian on the other hand was only slightly stunned. The ripple of energy he felt that tore him out of Super Mega felt strange...felt terrible. The worst part was that there was nothing he could do about it. Gritting his teeth, the battle scarred human turned back to the Drimogemon, a look of fierce vigor on his face. "We're dealing with some big bads here. I know I said protect everyone, but if you have a tamer in the area, go back to him. Protect him with your life. This is about to become no place for children."Gabe roared once again, glancing at Darian before taking flight and moving towards the battle. Even stuck at champion level he wasn't just going to fight sitting down. Hell, they've dealt with worse anyways. Darian turned at the sound of a second voice. Seeing it was Majin, he breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully it was an ally, of all things, it could've been much worse. As Majin questioned about a plan, Darian sort of zoned out as he watched the battle. Gabe was soaring through the air, shooting various blasts of fire at random Digimon below him in an attempt to repel the mass. The thing that interested him the most though was the spell that Shadow just cast. A fiery explosion followed by the creation of a creature. So fire was how they were going to play? .... Darian smirked, Reaching for his belt, he slid a card out of its holster. An eye flicked to Majin before stepping beyond the boundary of Snowflake Village. He'd put this in front of him. If fire was how they wanted to play, well, fire would be what they got. "I've got a plan, it involves burning them to cinders."Darian reached the card up ahead of him, holding his D-Arc horizontally as he smoothly slid the activation card through the receiver, his Digivice lit up as the card took effect. "Activate! Gigabyte Glitchmagma!"In almost an instant, the snowy battlefield in front of the city almost entirely cracked. Molten lava blasted from the searing ground, and plumes of flame shot into the sky. While this could benefit some of the enemy Digimon, this would also benefit Ryusei, Gabe, and Shadow as they all had fire based attacks. Gabe felt the environmental change immediately boost his attack power. He could feel the fire rising within his body. As he soared overhead, he launched a 'Fire Wave' attack towards the ground. The cone of fire that usually came out changing into a wide spread torrent of flame that Gabe hoped would strike down a few champions below. Darian smirked as the card he was holding dissipated into data to return to his deck at a later time. Did this army really think they'd take this village easily? They were in for it now! D-Arc Charge: 2 uses left Card Used: Gigabyte Glitchmagma: Started this turn.

Blades clashed, punches thrown, snow was kicked into the air. The entire village was covered in the chaos of war. As the tamer and digimon alike worked together to push his army back, Caturamon couldn't help but smile, watching them scramble as they were reverted to Champions. He technically could revert them all the way to in training, but where was the fun in that? Not to mention it also took a heavy toll on him. The numbers they were fighting were seemingly endless, and what the group didn't understand is for every one killed, two replaced it. Large digimon were already toppling buildings and dragging off innocence to Yggdrasil knows where. The deva digimon laughed as another wave came to the backside of the village, doing the same on the backside as they ransacked anything and everything. Still dragging off citizens, rather than killing them.
It would be evident that the group of Digimon "heroes" would be fighting nothing but Troopmon and heavily corrupted Digimon, all husks of their former selves, slaves to Deva who laughed atop his rock. It was pathetic really, the fact that these humans were so easily scared and easily defeated by a simple trick. It wouldn't be long before the army overwhelmed them, and these tamers were just another victim to his Demon sword. The deva howled again, and every soldier stopped. He spoke as the sound of burning and collapsing buildings filled he air;
"This is your chance to surrender, weaklings. Give in and I will show you mercy."
The army formed a tight circle around the group, their head jerking from one end to the other as they waited patiently for their master to give the order to slay or standown, they had no wants, no passion, they were emotionless and followed any order without question or concern for their own lives. And the moment they were killed; They were zapped back to these floating spheres that simply copied the data and pasted it, making two more for everyone one. Any attack made on this sphere would result in it going into a near impenetrable defense for a short time while every husk spawned from it would attack the digimon who attacked the sphere. And, on top of that, they could teleport short distances only when in lock down. But, this was a gift and a curse as the sphere could not produce any digimon as it was in lockdown. Meaning any husks killed during the lock down would not be recreated in the event the data, as small as it was, was taken. Caturamon had exactly thirty-seven at his disposal.
The dog Deva growled as he watched, pacing around the tamers. He hoped they would remain defiant, and in an act of pure arrogance, he monologued:
"Like my army? Finding it hard to thin the numbers? That's because they're clones. And replace two for every one death. Funny isn't it? How easily life can just be copied. You can think our Fringe for this gift. Someone who is operating in the human world. I might be biased, but I say DATS failed in that matter. Anyway, allow me to help you make your decision."
The deva whistled as three digimon, all of which who were residents of Snowflake village were brought forward, all young. Two were rookies, one was a fresh. Caturamon growled as he spoke;
"Now, witness the price of your arrogance and defiance!"
A sword appeared in the dog's mouth as he swiped clean across two digimon's throats, their heads separating from their bodies as they exploded into data with two pieces. Their data absorbed into the blade that was gripped tightly in the dogs mouth. The fresh cried, begged and even tried to run. He laughed as the sword vanished and he picked it up;
"Don't worry, just beg to these buffoons and I'll let you live."
With tears in it's eyes and words escaping him, it managed to utter a single word:
"P-please!"
The army shuffled in place as both them and Caturamon anxiously awaited their choice. To see what they would do and how they'd react. He didn't care about their choice, at the end of the day, they'd fall victim to his sword all the same or would be recycled into his army. Either way, he won. And if there was one thing he liked the most: It was winning.
"Make your choice, heroes. Or the digimon dies."

The busty tomboy appalled when she saw the innocents were taken away from the village. This dog Digimon just captured countless numbers of Digimons and probably, held them captive. Ryoko gritted her teeth in anger, clenching her fists when more Digimons in the village were kidnapped. It wasn't a tolerable act. It was horrid. So, she had to put an end to this slavery practice. "Evrybuddeh, run!" Ryoko told the surviving Digimons to run away from the village.
However, the Troopmon Ryusei had shot down went into a sphere, and it produced two copies of them. Ryusei just scratched his head in confusion, that he just multiplied the army. Someone or somebody had to stop them. Oh, and she figured out how to stop them. By attacking the spheres.
"Ryusei, attack 'da-"
But just as she wanted to to tell Ryusei to attack the spheres, Caturamon killed two rookies and left the fresh threatened. Ryoko became angered towards this dog Deva even more. How could he use a life of innocent to make them surrender? "Put down yo' sword, will ya?! Ryoko snapped at the dog. "Ya can't juz do evrythin' ya want, bastard! Y're usin' dat poor Digimon as a bait for us to give up, man, y're f*ckin' psycho!"
Ryusei gripped the cannon grip firmly before aiming at Caturamon. He wasn't the best sniper, but he tried his best not to hurt the hostage. Or else... "Be calm... be calm..." Ryusei whispered to himself as he tried to take a good aim at Caturamon.
"Let 'im go, b*tch! Y'dunno how scared is he! If y'were at da same position as him, y'll freak out too, rite?" Ryoko told the Caturamon.

As the dog digimon told them to surrender, Drimogemon digged his way back to Elson, after the seemingly negative answer provided by the former Merukimon.
"Should we surrender?" the mole digimon asked. Elson seemed thoughtfull.
"Do you see those spheres over there? They`re bringing back his army in duplicate. This guy has no respect for life. He won`t show us mercy. Well, he might, as I believe his kind of mercy differs a bit from our definiton of it." Elson explained. Drimogemon nodded, but the deva soon began bragging about the potential of his army and how DATS had failed... and then brought two prisioners, and slayed them without mercy of any kind, absorbing their data into some weird sword.
Yet, this was just a demonstration. A third, even weaker (and possibly younger) digimon was being held hostage by the Caturamon, who demanded their surrender in Exchange for the little digimon`s life. Recognising it was pointless to just keep attacking the army, Silversteamdramon-T returned to Elson.
"That monster, not even giving them a chance to be reborn..." Silversteamdramon-T commented.
"No, he`s not a monster, yet he is single minded in getting victory. That kind of people rarely do it without a bigger reason. This guy serves someone. But that doesn`t mean his not the main threat to us anymore, together with those spheres." Elson stated
"Then what do we do, my general?" Silversteamdramon-T inquired.
"Let`s show the rest of the people here what tactics are for. Drimogemon, you dig and get the hostage. Silversteamdramon-T, you will keep attacking the army in a semi-circular, yet progressive manner, approaching the Caturamon. You`ll strike the Caturamon and try to neutralise him, but remember this is a hit and run strike, can`t afford to count you amongst the dead today, got it?" Elson explained.
"Yes, my general!" the two digimon replied together before Drimogemon digged down, faster than ever and Silversteamdramon-T flied towards the army attacking, and kinda of spinning, as if he was indeed still focused on the army. Yet the machine was soon near Caturamon.
"Memory of Weakness!" Silversteamdramon-T shouted heading for the Caturamon. If it hit the dog digimon he would be filled with feelings of being powerless, of being small, and be terrified of Silversteamdramon-T, likely, and if the attack hit the smaller digimon, he wouldn`t be harmed, as he was arledy feeling such feelings. Still, as Silversteamdramon-T arrived and could (or not) hit the deva, something else happened.
"Iron Drill Spin!" Drimogemon said as the ground exploded on his exit from it to grab the small digimon and bring him down with him through the tunnel "Come with me little one and you`ll be safe." Drimogemon told the child digimon. If the youngling agreed, Drimogemon would just dig down and escape back to Elson with him.
Still, no time could be wasted. Immediatly as Elson saw the both Drimogemon and Silversteamdramon-T had arrived in place, he raised his Xross loader:
"Xross Open!" Elson cried out.
On the field, Silversteamdramon-T was divided into it´s two components: Silversteamdramon and Tinkermon.
"Fairy Powder!" Tinkermon said, a pack of dust flying out of her wings for the Caturamon.
"Silver steam!" Silversteamdramon shouted as his body released a thick cloud of steam blocking the possible vision. Tinkermon quickly grabbed Silversteamdramon and flied away quickly, hoping nobody would try to bring them out of the sky by shooting them down, as with Silversteamdramon`s weight and constant release of steam, they would be easy targets in the air.
Back in the village, Elson hoped his plan had (and would continue to) turned out alright and that the rest of the people could now focus on taking out the army and the spheres.

Ignis' sword cleaved through the incoming forces - he destroyed either by sword or his own powerful flames, enhanced by Darian's card.
But despite his Ultimate-equivalent power, the 60ft fire elemental was not enough to defeat these forces. Soon, the wall of flames standing before it collapsed under the pressure and troops poured in from the sides, unbeknownst to them, this was due to them replicating.
Caturamon advised them to surrender, meanwhile, his army surrounded the group. Only a fool would give up now. It was clear that they didn't plan on giving up - their chance to escape was long past.
These digimon, though... They looked weird.
"Poor lost souls. A vague existence that is betwixt and between, neither alive nor dead... " Shadow muttered, standing tall between the group. Yes, the card's effects were still at work. He was still big, lava still covered a sizable part of the field, and his fiery construct still stood among the enemy. Caturamon went on about having a contact in the real world, and DATS. What did this all mean? He used to be on that team, but contact went cold at some point. Had the group been taken over?
But before he could do anything, the Caturamon brought several hostages out. The group silently watched as the first two were killed in cold blood. Majin and Shadow had seen much of this previously, it didn't impact them as much. But what made them hesitate was the whole absorption and that sword. Hm, maybe they had to keep an eye out for that thing.
The pair looked to the side, at the girl and her 'mon. Not only did they talk funny, but they weren't doing any good shouting at the baddie like that. They seemed more like another liability to worry about than a fellow defender. If they were still Azramon, they would probably impale them both, just to shut them up.
"You two, shut your mouth. Do you realize in what position we are? That mon's death will be your doing." the white haired tamer warned the duo.
A few seconds later, and Majin almost facepalmed. Another digimon had chosen to attack, despite the hostage being in danger of being killed. The digimon soared over them, unleashing some sort of attack on Caturamon. Sighing, Majin looked at Shadow.
"Shadow! Protect the hostage!" he ordered. The BlackWizardmon nodded, raising a barrier around the IT and expanding it - hopefully, the expanding barrier would surprise the Caturamon and push him back. It immediately faded, it was just meant to separate the little guy from the baddie's side.
IF he was successfully taken off Caturamon's grip, the wizard would raise his staff towards the baddie.
"Star fire, awaken and deliver your judgment! Lightning!" he yelled, unleashing an enlarged arc of electricity towards the deva.
The enemy had been foolish to gather around Ignis, too. The construct had remained still so far - now, it swung it's gigantic sword down at Caturamon.

Darian didn't really get it, but he always noticed the fact that the villains seemed to have an addiction to 'offering mercy'. Did all of them really read the same book of flavour text for their taunts and evil banter? They weren't actually ever going to show mercy. All the bad guy's Darian had ever dealt with had feigned mercy before attempting to stab him in the back. Arrogant pricks...
The tamer's watchful eyes scanned the battlefield as he watched his own Digimon battle alongside his allies. He cursed as he noticed that none of the Digimon seemed to be...dying? Darian's eyes flicked from fallen enemy to the floating spheres above Could that have been doing something to resurrect them? Was Digimon resurrection even possible? Darian couldn't guess the actual function of those orbs but he at least knew that they were there. If this resurrection issue was still a problem by the time they could Digivolve again, they would have to deal with it.
Though Caturamon explained how the army was consistently recovering, he didn't fully explain the copy and paste reaction that the orbs had. What Darian really paid attention to was the fact that there was someone who was helping these bastards in the Human world, someone that DATS missed. He cursed inwardly, he would have to mention that to Joey and get some serious lookout going outside.
Gabe was going to attack the Caturamon directly in the next instant, but right as he moved into a skydive position Caturamon brought out the hostages. Darian and Gabe were both just a little shell shocked, he could hear the rattling of Ryuko, there was still all those other Digimon attacking, and Majin attempting to come up with a plan. As Data exploded into the air, Darian felt a fire that had been laying dormant in his heart immediately start to burn. His disgust, despair, guilt, and burning vengeful anger reached its burning point.
"You...you bastard." Darian growled, wishing inside that he could biomerge and decapitate this so called Deva.
It was then that Shadow attempted to erect a barrier that would separate Caturamon and the hostage. This was their chance! As Shadow unleashed his lightning spell, Darian ordered his attack.
"Gabe! Follow the lightning!" He ordered.
Gabe roared as he whirled himself down to the ground, following the arcing lightning towards Caturamon. His Chrome Digizoid wings began to shine as they sharpened. He reached a high speed quickly, if this attack was successful, he would hit the Deva almost immediately after the lightning would, crashing sharpened Chrome Digizoid wings directly into Caturamon's body. Darian hoped Gabe was aiming to kill, he would be pleased to know that Gabe was aiming to destroy.
"Crash Charge!"
