Cion screamed in pain as the corrosive speak unfortunately managed to penetrate her barrier, hitting her and lacerating her power armor. The strike had reduced velocity, but it was successful hit regardless, leaving her unsteady on top of Casimeir's head. She breathed heavily and sharply, coughing fiercely as she experienced the toxic acid gnawing at her being. The CyberSagitamon's limbs felt numb, rendering her unable to perform complex movements like firing her bow at rapid speed. This effect would certainly not last long, but it put her at a serious disadvantage, rendering her incapable of utilizing almost all of her powers.
But that was far from all, as fire and brimstone rained down upon her and the reptilian digimon she stood on. Since she lacked the ability to retaliate or use her large shield once more to protect herself and her allies, there was only one thing she could do - standing her ground. With the help of the large zone she had conjured, the vulpine marksman stood strong and tall as blazing javelins tore at her frame and futuristic armament, and vitiating venom weakened her muscles. The latter did not matter that much, yet the pain and nausea was galling to say the least.
incapable of looking after Valeria and hoping that she could stand her own ground, Cion emerged from the relentless onslaught very much alive - certainly her allies did as well. Weakened by various means, it was still her time to shine by supporting her comrades to the best of her abilities once their enemies were finished attacking. With a single flick of her fingers, an aura of soothing data engulfed every non-hostile entity in the area, mending moderating wounds. This effect got amplified noticeably by the Nanomachine Zone, draining stamina of the three corrupted victims to fuel those who fought alongside the CyberSagitamon.
Looking at the battlefield at hand, she frowned and sighed quietly. Though Cion could not impose more data arrows for the time being, at least her first assault had struck them.

This was the second time that Casimeir's actions had endangered the group in some way. And it was apparent to John and his partner that fire was not going to be the answer for this scenario. The Greymon stood fast and braced himself for what firey spears managed to break through. "Take cover, John!" he ordered out of concern. And John did just that by hunkering down behind the large dinosaur. The heat coming off of the large fragments was sweltering, just as the human expected from a Digimon that breathed fire. But it was not something to admire right now. Everyone was giving it their all, and so was John and Casimeir. But it wasn't enough so far! "Cion! Are you okay?" John felt terrible for inadvertently getting Cion hurt. Bt despite the setback, despit ethe damage she had taken so far...She was still standing strong. Casimier's gaze shifted toward his rear while he craned his neck to view his human friend. He could sense John's dismay through the bond they shared. "Hey," Casimeir called, warranting John to look back into his piercing ruby iris. "We've got this, John. We're all in this together. I may just be a Champion right now but have faith. We can do this." John's gaze lingered for a few moments while the battle raged on around them. Casimeir was right. The pair had been through everything together. And they always had each other's backs no matter how dire the situation got. One mistake wasn't going to jeopardize the mission. A confident smile grew on John's face. "Yeah," he answered. "You're right!" Newfound confidence swelled within John, now. "We can beat them as a team!" His elated demeanor was cut short, however, when his Digivice began to vibrate and shine brightly. "Huh?" John grasped the Digivice quickly. "What's up with this thing?" His question would be answered when Casimeir felt his core lighting up. "John...I'm Digivolving!" The human had to shield his eyes the instant that his partner's form became a silhouette just like before! "Greymon! Digivolve to...!"The light-based data acted like a cocoon for Casimeir, helping him grow and metamorphose. The light dispersed in sections as though the new Digimon was breaking through an egg. First came the metal trident arm. Next, shredded violet wings sprouted from his back, followed by the metal coating of his original chitin helmet. Finally, the light dispersed, making way for a cyborg dinosaur Digimon now near twice the size of Greymon. "MetalGreymon!"Casimeir's sky blue eyes glared eagerly toward the enemies ahead. John was simply dumbfounded. The human's heart must have been racing at a hundred miles-an-hour. "Cas?!" He couldn't believe his eyes. "You did it! You Digivolved!" The human partner's glee brought a toothy smirk to Casimeir's lips. "You believed in me despite the odds, John. Now. Let's wrap this up!" The Ultimate's eyes shifted toward the barricade blocking him from Cherrymon. That wall would have to wait. It was time to focus on another foe. The massive Digimon's gaze fell to Delumon, who was weighed down by that block of ice around his feet. Locked on. With no time to waste, Casimeir's metal chest opened up like a missile silo. "Giga Destroyer!"Two organic missiles with wicked smiles launched from the chest compartment. Their target was Delumon, and they were homing in on him fast with a trail of smoke behind them. -Battle Log-Actions: -Casimeir digivolves and uses Giga Destroyer on Delumon. Buffs:1.) If nothing else, the red flower was handled quite easily - and Koneka was very quick to feel the consequences! Right after sinking her nails into the head and stem of the flower, that resultant blast would strike the cat square in the stomach, her gloved hands starting to spark with a red energy. Swearing under her breath, she turned to face the battlefield. "Keep your focus in front of you, I'll handle the flowers as they come!"
Not that they had many more options than that! Frustratingly, the bird with very-usable wings decided to not engage in a ground-based fight with the metal golem, Valeria's golem humming in frustration. Worse yet, this hulking golem was now caught in a crossfire, between JewelBeemon's Somniferum Rupture, and the Cherrymon's flaming spears! Her tamer, watching from a safe distance, decided enough was enough, and focused more energy into the Digivice.
Valeria didn't ignore the surge: with the fiery arrows raining above and that pollen-filled blast forced in her direction, the Koganemon took the interesting move of planting her palm against the forest floor. A moment later, both the Fire Blades and the Rupture would wash right over the golem's body.
That was right before the golem's golden body took on the texture and feel of the Dark Area's soil. In a light flash of red data, the golem fragmented into harmless dirt pieces, as a red hand appeared from the loamy soil. With a quick pull, Valeria's mega form, Adamon, took to the skies and focused her sights on Delumon. "Oh my, what kind of child's play corruption is this?" The black-garbed vampire quickly fell for the rather sadistic personality of her virus form, once more making a beeline for the bird! Hopefully, approaching from slightly above the Delumon, she'd be well out of range of 'Withering Rain', and with Delumon slowed by the ice, she'd hopefully get in nice and close -
"Whoa, there!" Well, it was clear that there was another ticked at this bird, but Valeria was fine with it, instead keeping her distance. She'd originally planned to fight the bird herself, but this time, she kept her focus on Delumon's movement: if the bird tried to look at and dodge the missiles, Valeria would dash in the same direction, and try and use explosive palm to blow the bird right back into the missiles! It seemed smarter than just diving in and getting caught up in the same explosion!
Battle Log: 1) Koneka is on standby. 2) Valeria uses Koganemon's form to force her gems beneath the surface of the ground, and proceeds to Digivolve. Beneath the surface of the ground, she dodges Somniferum Rupture. 3) As an Adamon, Valeria pursues Delumon, and acts on standby. She will use 'Explosive Palm' on the bird should he try and dodge the missiles.

Isaac tried his best to focus on the battlefield around him. The din of combat echoing through his ears. The pull of gravity tugging down on him, forcing him to fight just to balance in the air. The searing sensation of Jyureimon's leaves rocketing into his body, eased just as quickly as it came by the gentle mist of Cion's healing settling into his wounds. All of it, any of it, was preferable to confronting the emptiness in his own head.
Isaac wasn't used to being alone anymore. Ever since picking up that Digivice, he had always felt something in the back of his head. Most of the time it was an instinctual pull, but sometimes it was more concrete. It could even be downright thought-like on some days. Now he could feel nothing, and it was downright foreign. He second guessed every action he took now, leading to his current state of almost paralyzed indecision in this combat situation.
What would this accomplish, though? Just sitting here, getting beaten up and healed while other Digimon were in trouble? Whether freeing them from their corruption or at least freeing them from the wreck their lives had become, he needed to do something.
One of the enemy Digimon was already starting to buckle under the weight of incoming fire. Delumon was being attacked on all sides, an Explosive Palm in one direction and a Giga Destroyer in the other. It made sense, after all; get rid of the annoying supporter, and the rest would fold easily. Rather than risk splitting the plan, Isaac followed suit. He hunkered down, the jump jets on his back sparking as he set his eyes on Delumon. The more pressure on it, the better.
He waited for the right moment to strike, green eyes darting back and forth to follow the Delumon's movements. Then, once it had been forced into either a dodge or the recoil of an attack, he launched forward in a hefty shoulder tackle. If all went according to plan, his bladed shoulder would slice into the Delumon with the force of an incoming freight train.
Isaac weathers damage and healing alike, ending somewhat worse for the wear but in somewhat of a state of equilibrium. Isaac waits for Delumon to either dodge or be hit by incoming fire, then rushes it with an Imp-Act.

OOC: Skipping Satoshi on request.
Also, I'm making this post with the assumption that Casameir has been weakened by Delumon's Withering Rain, which has specifically targeted him.
Lastly: From now on, there is no post order. First to post is first acted upon. I advise you coordinate your efforts to bring these bosses down through forum or Discord PM's.
It seemed that this would be a battle of attrition. Even though heavy damage had been made upon the enemy, they could keep this in check with healing abilities. This would be concerning to the corrupted core if it were anything more than a simple entity. All it wanted was to consume. That Cion had the capability of restoring her allies' data was too complicated for it to consider.
All it knew how to do was to keep up the attack.
Then, all attention was turned to the Greymon, who then evolved to MetalGreymon. While the full strength of his power would be held in check by the corrupted field, it was still a significant development. MetalGreymon would have more means of attacking after all.
Metalgreymon launched missiles at Delumon, but, weakened by both the corrupted field and his Withering Rain technique, the resulting explosion only ruffled his feathers with only a small amount of damage dealt. Yes he was knocked around in the air a bit, but, was not yet out of the battle.
Indeed, he had a potent move in store that would make things rather deadly for the next phase of the battle. He shook his tail violently for a moment, sending a glowing red berry to JewelBeemon. She caught it and swallowed, and thus, a faint red aura glowed around the insect warrior digimon. As he did so, Valeria then suddenly appeared to deliver an Explosive Palm attack, which knocked him down to the ground. While the sheer power was softened by the corrupted field, it was still a very nasty blow, one that Delumon had been significantly damaged from.
Meanwhile, while the Red Flower was destroyed, JewelBeemon recovered slightly from the damage taken from the previous attacks. Not entirely, but, a little. And with this power, she lunged at Isaac as a means to cover for Delumon, aiming to rend his data asunder to prevent any ranged attacks for the next turn if it hit. Only evasion would prevent this.
Lastly, behind it all, Jyureimon was aware of the straits that Delumon was in. And thus, one of the many cherries in his leaves burst, and sent forth a pink light toward the bird digimon. It would heal his health moderately, bringing him forth from the cusp of defeat.
The battle was by no means over just yet. It was clear that these three digimon had the means to support each other, and it would take a coordinated effort to bring them down. However, the barrier of rose thorns disappeared from in front of Jyureimon.
Then, as a last minute reminder, a yellow flower appeared on the battlefield.

"Yeah... I guess." Was Cion's hushed response to Casimeir's question if she was fine, her voice filled with ache. Truth be told she was quite battered, even with the assistance of her armor and her healing abilities, and she knew that. That did not mean she was about to submit to evil, a notion the others appeared to share as well. Determination reinvigorated everyone as many attained increased strength, noticeably her gargantuan, reptilian pal she stood on. He digivolved due to the power of passion alone, thankfully not turning him incorporeal during the transformation.
Now lingering on the head of the massive cyborg, a smile formed itself on the silver digimon's muzzle. "Agreed!" The CyberSagitamon emphasized the MetalGreymon's impetus to end this madness, standing strong and tall as she often did. Their allies remained busy dealing with their parts of the battlefield, but the vulpine marksmon stayed on top of her new comrade, helping out from afar to the best of her skills. A supporter and disruptor in nature, that was simply what she was, hence she acted in accordance with these facts of digital reality.
Watching the battlefield, it became clear to Cion that both Jyureimon and Delumon were holding back to support JewelBeemon with every asset they had at their disposal. It seemed that the insectoid warrior was indeed the vanguard of their group, both sturdy and powerful, utilizing these traits to fight at the front instead of keeping its distance in a style similar to the CyberSagitamon. The conclusion which could be derived from that is that without this digimon in particular, their enemies would lose a significant percentage of their power.
"Someone destroy the yellow flower! I cover you!" The armored fox asserted, her golden eyes fixed on the JewelBeemon. She was unable to protect Isaac from its attack, but its brief moment of recovery from the impact was enough to be exploited. "Translucent Singularity!" She bellowed confidently as surging data immediately manifested itself in a violent, spherical vortex around her target. Her prey was bound to be caged, violent gravity sucking in nearby debris like a tornado. While not affecting her or her companions in the slightest, Jyureimon and Delumon would slowly be pulled towards it as well if not struggling against the natural force.
"Attack now!" Cion vociferously hoped that her ability had imposed the desired effect of JewelBeemon being stunned and having its natural defenses reduced, which meant joint efforts might have been sufficient to end it. Naturally it was given that data arrows soared through the air, aimed at her three adversaries.
Battle Log:
Move: - Cion uses 'Translucent Singularity' to stun JewelBeemon - Cion utilizes combat-passive ability 'Data Arrow Storm'.

OOC: Sorry for not reacting to Withering Rain properly. It completely slipped my mind.
Maybe it was due to sheer adrenaline, but the Delumon's previous attack on Casimeir was noticeable by now. The virulent powder from the Withering Rain had surely rendered Casimeir's abilities to be less efficient than before. What was not covered by metal had an irritating stinging sensation as if he was covered on parts of his body by itching powder that also included a burning agent.
"John...My power's been reduced by that gas!" Casimeir stifled a cough the best he could. "That Withering Rain put a number on me!"
John looked on ahead worriedly toward the battlefield. His heart went out to his partner, having to deal with that kind of onslaught. "It's okay, Cas! You're still getting used to this stage. Keep pushing forward!"
Cion gave the order to focus all firepower on the JewelBeemon. A change in tactics, but perhaps doing so could quickly turn the tide in their favor. Casimeir prepared another Giga Destroyer, but it failed. The ability was currently unable to be utilized. But that wasn't the only trick in the Cyborg's metal chest. "She's right. You guys take down JewelBeemon! I'll get Delumon with one more attack!"
The bionic ceratosaur's chest hatches swung open. "Tera Destroyer!" Instead of two organic missiles, Casimeir fired off three in total; all of which targeted Delumon for what would hopefully be a final strike. Being an upgraded version of the Giga Destroyer, these missiles were sure to deal a greater blow than before.
-Battle Log-
Actions: -Casimeir uses the ability Tera Destroyer on Delumon.
Tera Destroyer- The Tera Destroyer is a more enhanced version of his trademarked "Giga Destroyer." Three upgraded missiles are fired instead of two. The attack inflicts 100% more damage, with a three-turn cooldown period.

"Heh... that one felt like it stung." Valeria gave a chuckle, looking down at the propelled Delumon as a small amount of arcane smoke drifted away from her palm. In her current state, with Adamon at the helm, Valeria wasn't much for cooperating with the rest of the team - in fact, it was almost disappointing to her that these corrupted Digimon were taking the blows in such a stalwart manner? Where was the writhing, the begging?
And why was no-one trying to set that Cherrymon on fire? With no-one else attacking it, and what looked to be a literal sun flying in the direction of the Delumon (which would honestly probably roast that little healing fruit before it would ever arrive), the vampire Digimon angled herself downwards, diving straight for the corrupted tree. Driving her nails into the center of her left palm, the mega drew out what looked to be a long, dripping blade of demented blood:
Death Needle!
And at once, the needle propelled itself outward, not even giving a whistle as it launched towards the Cherrymon! Aimed at its center, should the needle manage to hit, or even pierce, its bark, its poisonous effect would be very hard to ignore.
Of course, Ami knew at this point that she wouldn't be able to control or direct Valeria's actions. That was why, on the sidelines, both she and Koneka were on the lookout for further flowers - and lo and behold, a yellow one bloomed out in the open! "Koneka!"
"On it!" If this was her role, so be it - the Gatomon made a sprint for it, and as soon as it would be in range, she'd aim her foot right for the root: Neko Kick! Well, at the very least, her basic attacks had already proven effective on the red flower!
Log: Adamon uses 'Death Needle', while diving for Jyureimon. Koneka attempts to approach the yellow flower to destroy it.

The Atripex Lance was a trade that Isaac was all too happy to make. Even with the corrupted field active, he was in the sturdier, stronger form, the jagged blades decorating his person and the samurai armor outlining his body clear testaments to that fact. Against an agile speedster like a JewelBeemon, taking a hit in return was worth getting a solid blow in while he still could. Unfortunately, though, it seemed the JewelBeemon had come prepared. A berry suddenly contacted the insect, its spear swelling a little with power. What would've been a clear trade in Isaac's favor had suddenly become even, maybe even disadvantageous. The blade sunk deep into Isaac's shoulder, and he felt a nasty jolt startle through his body.
He tried to conjure up a shot from his Phosphorous Blow while he was in point blank range, hoping to blast JewelBeemon away. However, instead he found his arm seizing up as soon as he had tried. Only a few feeble sparks came from the intersection of his blades. This wouldn't be nearly enough to zap the bug away. Attacking wouldn't be on the table right now.
Fortunately, it didn't need to be. Cion had launched a vortex of sorts at the bug, hoping to keep it firmly held in place for future attacks. Normally, this would be a great time to incinerate the bug. However, something burning in Isaac's wrist told him to try something else instead.
He held one blade aloft, small orbs of green energy starting to drift towards the blade. It was absorbing the atmospheric data in the air, an energy similar to a BlackWarGreymon's Terra Destroyer starting to encircle it. While JewelBeemon was hopefully reduced to a sitting duck, this would be the perfect time to prepare such an attack. He held his other arm outward like a soccer goalie, preparing to physically bar any attempts that JewelBeemon could make to avoid the vortex. If that bee was able to escape, his job would get a lot harder. If he was snared as intended, then he knew one critical strike could end this.
Now all he'd have to do is hope that his plan works.
Isaac is hit directly by the Atripex Lance, neutralizing his ability to attack for the turn. Rather than go for a melee strike, Isaac begins charging his Terra Blade, physically blocking JewelBeemon in the meantime to ensure she cannot escape Cion's vortex.

OOC: Well, I can't say that I didn't give Satoshi enough chances. Unfortunately he's going to have to be skipped this turn, and will be skipped again until he's in a position to be able to post on time. I won't be dropping him or kicking him out since it's too late for that, but I'll just assume that he's off to the sidelines for now.
While the corrupted field prevented Cion's attack from damaging JewelBeemon at full power, she could not outmatch its effects. She could tell this at once. But, she chose to use her armor piercing abilities to the enemy where it was most needed. And thus, with a furious lunge, she launched herself at Valeria before the effects of Cion's attack could pull her in. This attack, Killstinger, was the strongest she had. And yet she used it with the knowledge that it may very well be her last - hurling the spear at full strength. However, the destruction of the yellow flower by Koneko, which would of course paralyze the Gatomon for the time being, JewelBeemon recovered some of the damage - the golden data floating in toward her.
Delumon meanwhile was flying closer to Jyureimon, and was aware of the missiles homed in on him. He was also aware of Jyureimon's fruit, which hit him first. Even if the others tried to stop it, it wouldn't work. The support techniques the corrupted digimon gave to each other needed an equally corrupt attack to stop them. If not, they would simply pass through. After all, their data was not similar. Delumon took the attack, which sent him staggering through the air, his tail feathers smouldering, but, Jyureimon's healing had meant that he had survived for the time being. And furthermore, the attack was even further debuffed by the Withering Rain technique from earlier, meaning it wasn't quite as effective as it would have been.
Jyureimon meanwhile was fully prepared for Valeria. He was knocked back several feet by the impact of the blow, but gave a grin back to her face - not a grin of his usual kind, but one from someone who had been possessed.
"That won't do" he said, staggering back. As it happened, as both JewelBeemon and Delumon received damage, he glowed somewhat, restoring himself from the blow that he had just taken. Yet, from the shock of the blow, Jyureimon felt some of his old self get knocked back into him, his possessed grin turning momentarily to sincere horror.
"Deal with the others first, then me, their damage heals me" he said, before the corrupted core of wood within him regained control. "Hah! Fool! You think that'd work?! Ivy Rush!" he stomped his cane to the ground, causing an eruption of vines and bracken to launch out at Valeria. If they hit, they would hold her in place as JewelBeemon's Killstinger approached.
Meanwhile, Delumon, still flying above the group, saw the perfect target. Koneko was paralyzed by the yellow flower. And so he made his attack. "Crown of Thorns!" he cried, his crown glowing tan before a barrage of wooden spikes hurtled toward the Gatomon.

Aaaand... they did not heed her instructions - like at all. Instead of utilizing the opportunity she had provided with her vortex they simply chose to assault others targets. If their efforts had at least been combined to focus on a single enemy Cion would have understood their reasoning, but their display was just frustrating to say the least. There she was, being the proud enabler she was in combat, providing support in disruption to allies and adversaries alike, and not much came out of it. What a bummer! But... oh well; if her partners decided to act this way, all she could do was adapt and improvise.
In a brief moment of clarity, Jyureimon told the companions of the CyberSagitamon almost exactly the same thing as she had done, which was of course not bothering with it and instead focus the JewelBeemon who was clearly their strongest fighter. Of course the vulpine soldier had read many things into the floral digimon's statement, but she right regardless. Alas it was too late, and there were more imminent occurrences happening on the battlefield she had to save her attention for.
Both Valeria and the Gatomon were in huge trouble, and there had to be something Cion should have done to protect them. Unfortunately, her suboptimal utilization of abilities had left her left her without viable options for the moment. "Someone intervene! I need to recover energy!" The graceful marksmon explained vociferously, hoping her words would reach those she considered her associates and comrades this time.
Her only contribution was now to aid in this very same effort with as much might as she could muster. Unholstering her EMP-pistol, she took good aim at the JewelBeemon and launched projectile of pure electricity at it. Hopefully, it would hit and the shocking charge would leave its marks upon the damaged insectoid.

Post by Satoshi Himura on Mar 22, 2018 7:08:04 GMT
The battle raged on, but Satoshi was nowhere nearby. Had he run off? Garurumon had let his focus waver for a moment as he wondered where his Tamer had managed to get off to, and the battle quickly began to leave him in the dust. It was strange, normally he would jump into the fray without hesitation, but he felt lost without Satoshi behind him. It seemed that he wasn't as independent as he originally thought.
Satoshi, without intending to, had managed to get away from the battlefield and into a quieter section of the forest. He didn't even remember walking away from the fight, and everything up until this point had been a blur. How far had he walked? Was the fight over already? So many questions ran through his head until his feet finally stopped moving on their own. A huge structure stood in front of Satoshi, with a strangely familiar symbol etchted into the wall. Satoshi was compelled to go up and touch it, and as soon as he did it began to glow with a dark blue light. As soon as this happened, a voice that Satoshi didn't really recognize began to speak. "Warrior of Rationality...you have done well to make here. Your analytical mind and willingness to take a backseat in combat to focus on strategy means you are worthy of this Crest. Take it, and strengthen your bond with your partner." The glow intensified to blinding levels, forcing Satoshi to shield his eyes. Once it subsided, he saw that the wall had disappeared. In its place was a small pendant with the symbol from the wall on it. He quickly grabbed it, and it made him feel momentarily at peace. He felt ready to return to the fight, armed with a new power.
A few moments later, the fight was still going on. Garurumon had somewhat resigned himself to hanging back behind everyone else, but his ears perked up when a familiar voice called out. "Sorry to keep you all waiting!" Satoshi said. "I must've gotten lost!" "Satoshi!" Garurumon cried out happily. He had never been so happy to see his Tamer before. Upon closer inspection, though, something seemed different about Satoshi. Perhaps Garurumon was imagining it, but had his eyes always been that dark blue? "You ready to kick some butt, Garurumon?" Satoshi asked, grabbing the Crest that was now hanging on his neck. It began to glow again, and once it did, Garurumon began to glow along with it. "Garurumon Super Digivolve to...WereGarurumon!"With a mighty howl, the bipedal Ultimate form of Gabumon charged back into the fight, ready to put in some work. He quickly assessed the situation, and decided for once to put his pride to the side like Satoshi and let others do some good. "Pack Rally!" He let out another inspiring howl, hoping to give his allies a boost somehow. Satoshi grinned as he watched WereGarurumon take a backseat to support the others, even if it was only for a moment. Perhaps he was more willing to be a team player once he reached higher forms.
Battle Log: -Satoshi obtained the Crest of Rationality, giving Gabumon the ability to Digivolve to Ultimate. -Satoshi and Garurumon return to the fight. -Garurumon Digivolves to WereGarurumon and uses Pack Rally. - Pack Rally: WereGarurumon roars to inspire allies. All allies can attack twice this turn. 4 post cooldown.

The little bushy-tailed bird Digimon was really getting on Casimeir's nerves, now. He was so close to taking him down for the count, but alas, Delumon was healed by one of their allies and brought back from the brink of defeat. Seeing this fueled Casimeir and John's passion to finish the fight as quickly as possible. The MetalGreymon's efforts would now become spurned by his desire to assist with taking down the Delumon, in turn making this fight easier for everyone.
But that would have to wait. Right now, most of their efforts were targeted against the JewelBeemon. John thought it best to follow suit. "Cas," he pleaded, "we need to all focus on one target at a time." A gentle growl is what he was met with, but, the MetalGreymon conceded.
"You're right. Attacking the Delumon is exhausting. So let's try something else!"
Before the MetalGreymon could make his comeback, both he and John had their attention drawn to Satoshi's return to the battle. "Oh, Satoshi! I didn't even notice that you left!" He winced a bit, realizing how wrong that felt. "Okay, that came out weird. But I'm glad that you're back! Now let's win this thing!"
Casimeir glanced over to Garurumon with a bit of a smirk once the blue-striped wolf's form became anew. "Oh yeah! You made it to Ultimate!" The cyborg felt instilled with swelling confidence and vigor thanks to WereGarurumon's ability. "JewelBeemon! I'm coming for you!"
With two of his ranged attacks on a cooldown, Casimeir had only a few viable tactics to use in this instance. Fire-based moves had not proven to be as useful as he'd hoped up until now. But there was no reason that he could not use it. He could not have a better opportunity with the JewelBeemon distracted as it was. Once Casimeir positioned his metal limb, a stream of fire sprang forth from it. "Everyone in JewelBeemon's vicinity, heads-up! Powerful Flame!" Then it was time for another attack. "Cion! I'm going in for a close-range attack!" Whether Cion decided to stay atop of Casimeir's head or not, the MetalGreymon propelled himself forward with his wings toward the JewelBeemon. He was careful to maneuver around Samudramon so as to not harm his ally. "Metal Claw!" The distance was closed quite gracefully. In one fluid motion, Casimeir reached back with his trident arm and slashed at the JewelBeemon with his weaponized limb made up of enhanced Chrome Digizoid.
-Battle Log-
Actions: -Casimeir uses the abilities Powerful Flame and Metal Slash on JewelBeemon.

Metal Slash- Casimeir attacks his opponent by slashing at them with his Trident Arm's claws.

Oh, that wouldn't do? With her tamer watching from a distance, and the Gatomon shivering, gritting her fangs and thanking the stars that she wasn't being targeted, Valeria floated mere feet away from the Cherrymon, distance further gained by the impact of that needle. Honestly, she wasn't even sure where all that knockback even came from - this was the impact of a poisonous needle, one that stuck halfway out of the tree's chest, quickly working into his system.
"Oh? Don't sell me short, hot-stack." Giving a chuckle, the confident lich merely gave an interested look downwards as those vines wrapped around her ankles. That sensation was soon followed by a close-by buzzing. Oh, just what was that? Surely they didn't meant to -
SHNK!
Her feet held in place by the vines, the Adamon's expression widened, face in shock and pain as that needle struck the dead-center of her chest. The visible effects of the attack were devastating: those in the back would even be able to see the tip of the needle poking through the other side, as a stream of blood rushed out from the front, over the wound. It looked like a grave wound, one that wound send Valeria into a cloud of data a moment later...
... But neither Ami nor Koneka reacted as such. The former merely planted her forehead against her palm, the stunned cat just giving a sigh.
"Oh! Oho!" The Adamon chuckled, moving to lock her arms around the sides of the JewelBeemon! "Oh, that hurt me, you daft little ----er!" Her voice increased in pitch, the vampiric lich starting to ride the ecstasy of her pain... and right now, her bloodlust was looking straight forward. Screw everything else around her, this bee needed to feel the exact pain she was feeling: reaching one hand into that dripping stream of blood, a red glint appeared in her palm, as she drew forth a rather grotesque, jagged blade - and moved to stab it right through the JewelBeemon's chest!
As for Koneka, well, her luck ran out only a moment later: gritting her fangs, she glanced up as the Delumon moved to strike her. Unable to move much, she merely tried to keep herself close to the ground, showing as little surface area as possible to the spikes. Left uncontested, she would be skewered!
Log:
Valeria has Vampiric Immortality: Though her frame may be damaged, attacks not targeting her phylactery are unable to kill her. Ignoring all other objectives, the masochistic vampire draws a Sword of Blood, aiming to stab right through the JewelBeemon - about the same place through the torso she was stabbed.
Koneka is helpless and will be hit unless defended!

Post by Elliot and Isaac Sunderland on Apr 1, 2018 1:06:20 GMT
With JewelBeemon snared, half of Isaac's job ad been done. No longer needing to block her approach, Isaac brought his second blade above his head. Now the atmospheric energy that had built up inside of his first blade transferred over to his second one as well. The green, flame-like power intertwined between the two weapons, almost connecting them into a single blade. He could see no attacks coming towards him, and his allies fanned out to cover the other participating Digimon well. Now he could focus entirely on compiling his power.
As he did so, he squeezed his eyes shut, and with it shut the rest of the world out away from him. The sounds of battle faded into the background, the roaring of power and the pulsing of Samudramon's data core drowning them out. Slowly but surely, Isaac could start envisioning himself in his mind's eye, the green outline of his powered aura illuminating him in the darkness of the void.
With the sound of the fight outside fading, Isaac could focus on the fight inside. He heard it, but only in flashes. The sound of a bokken sinking into slime-like flesh. The heavy slam of someone being slammed into the ground. The distorted roars that could only belong to D-Evidramon, as if Devidramon was being filtered through a broken drum machine. Soon he could see flashes of it too. Yasyamon, withered as he looked, planting a heel defiantly into the ground as he blocked heavy smashes of D-Evidramon's claws with his crossed bokken. D-Evidramon running Yasyamon through with his vicious barbed tail, only for Yasyamon to turn his head a little too far and defiantly return his glare. He could practically feel his mind pulsate with each strike.
This, too, he needed to forget. Were he to focus on the disunity of his own spirits, it would only hold him back. The Yasyamon and D-Evidramon in the center of his mind both shattered, the fragments of data that made them up swirling around each other like a whirlwind. They swirled like a vortex, settling around the internal Samudramon's blades. Unity was the key, the synthesis between his two spirits the sole reason why Isaac was even standing here right now. Even with the battles and uncertainty raging inside of him, Isaac needed his decisions to be made with all of his spirits speaking as one. Without it, could he truly fight?
Isaac's eyes snapped open, leaving the world of the void behind. As he did so the atmospheric energy around his swords intensified to a fever pitch, practically extending the blades to twice their length. Deep in his heart, Isaac knew he was ready.
The jump jets on his back came roaring to life, Isaac launching at JewelBeemon as planned. However, rather than finish his attack on his target, he instead used her stunned body as a stepping stone. With surprising gentleness he set a foot on the JewelBeemon, launching off of her and flipping through the air. This flip, ideally, would obscure his true destination: right by Delumon. As he finished the flip he brought both his blade's apart, crossing them together as he dove at the bush-bearing bird like a back out of hell. Soon, he would feel Samudramon's biting sting.
Or, would he? Rather than actually impale Delumon, Isaac instead widened the gap between his blades so that a "direct hit" on Delumon would instead leave him caught in the large groove between them. If his dive was on the money, the feint would leave Delumon near-helpless to dodge his follow up attack. Normally this would be something simple, like a Phosphorous Bow shot or another Imp-Act, if only due to the exertion that any stronger blow would take. WereGarurumon had opened up a new path for Isaac, though, and one he was more than ready to capitalize on.
Whether hitting with the feint or missing, he would turn to Delumon. "I'm sorry," was all he would say before crossing his blades against each other, aiming to catch Delumon between them for hopefully fight-ending damage.
Isaac leaps over JewelBeemon, who the others have covered, and lunges at the otherwise untargeted Delumon. First, Isaac feints his strongest attack, using the Trick Guillotine instead to snag Delumon between his blades. After the feint, Isaac finally completes his Terra Blade.Trick Guillotine: Samudramon flashily twirls his blades around, aiming to snare his opponent’s head in between the grooves of his curved blades. This feinting move can directly be followed by an Imp-act or Phosphorous Blow, or just used to startle his enemies. Cooldown: One Post (Delumon's passive) Terra Blade: Samudramon raises his swords skywards, empowering them with atmospheric energy before slamming them into an enemy. Duration: One Post (Charge). Cooldown: Three Posts. (was 2, Delumon's passive increases)
