Death Whistle: Chain of Memories [For Glory]
|
Post by Omen, Chaddest of Chads on Mar 29, 2021 13:51:05 GMT
Moving through the Server Woods would eventually cause one to stumble upon a labyrinthine maze of both fun stuff and horrible stuff, per the Digimoji on at least one of the many signs that Omen had seen throughout the place. There was a notable sense of...alarm felt by the Wispmon as she took a single step into the complex that had been practically reclaimed by nature.
She had never been here before. Yet she felt like she had. Why?
...
Of course, these memories weren't her own. One of her parents must have been here before and not had a pleasant time, so to speak. But, that couldn't be her, could it? No, Omen was going to start walking through the Tyrant's Labyrinth, primarily out of curiosity. There was a strange sort of beauty to the ruin, even if it could be crawling with hostile Digimon...Plus, one of the signs she read said that there could be treasure around here.
Imagine if she managed to get some treasure before Nanami did! That'd be pretty funny...
Her travels took her to what seemed to be the remnants of a courtyard, vines and leaves sprawled throughout the land. The remnants of a previous battle seemed to still be here, and there, and...everywhere. "Huh. I...There must've been a lot going on here." Who even -was- the Tyrant...?

The writer doesn't know nothin' about any treasure or battles, but do you know what Omen is able to find? Webs. Lots and lots of webs. Webs in every corner. Webs between the trees and the foliage. They were sparse enough that Omen could easily avoid them as she walked, but running around recklessly might get herself tangled up a bit if she wasn't mindful.
But otherwise, for the scene of a big battle, it was a surprisingly peaceful stroll that the Wispmon was having today.
That was, until-
"Somebody! Help me!" Came a voice from somewhere not-too-distant. If Omen went to investigate, then she would find a white and bluish insect Digimon with a humanoid figure. A Hudiemon. They were stranded by a series of threads of webbing leaving them completely restrained, about fifteen feet off the ground or so.
Of course, if Omen didn't investigate... Yeah. I got nothing for that. She would resume having a peaceful stroll, I guess...

As Omen treaded on within the ruins that were likely a remnant of something that was long bygone, she started to notice a commonality in all of this. A pattern. Webs. Webs that dotted the trees and foliage. But there weren't any huge spiders or anything that could be here at all, right?
She was quick, but she was mindful of her surroundings. What sort of battle had taken place here? Why? Despite the questions there was still a relatively...serene atmosphere that was quickly snatched away like being caught up as an author upon this hell. A voice had cried for help, which had caused Omen to skid to a stop and nearly tumble over.
Omen quickly darted off in the direction she swore she heard that from, and found a Hudiemon--A Digimon that had been described to her by her mother as a relatively recent species to have emerged. A series of threads, fifteen feet from the ground...Omen needed only to look for a moment to realize what needed to be done. "Help is on the way, please sit tight!"
The Wispmon would take a leap up, a quiet utterance of "Fox Nail!" being given to signify what she was doing--trying to cut through the threads to free the Hudiemon!

And with a swipe of her claws, Omen's claw managed to slice through enough of the webbing that had restrained the Hudiemon. The tension of the webs sagged, and the humanoid moth Digimon gently floated back down to the ground. Meanwhile, a pair of green worm-like Digimon, a Kunemon and a Wormmon, hiding behind a fallen stone structure nearby, made a break for it, squirming away in a panic.
But before Omen could have a chance to interrogate these two, she was smothered by the Hudiemon as she wrapped her arms around the armless rookie. "Thank you so much for saving me!" She cried out in joy. While she appeared rather soft and delicate, the chitinous armor around her torso and extremities was rather rough and prickly, to the point where the Wispmon felt something sharp dig into her for a second. Almost immediately, the Hudiemon stepped away and bowed in apology. "Forgive me! I forgot my own strength for a second!"
"There's been a rather fierce Digimon hanging around these parts, trapping everyone who comes into this area and feasting off of them, and I was worried that I was going to become their dinner!"
Then Omen noticed something she didn't earlier. Off in the corner of her eye, she spotted what looked to be a Digivice. D-3 Model, if she kept up with that kind of information. A hideous amalgamation of brown, green, and pink. And one Omen has most certainly seen many times before. But... the Digivice's owner was nowhere to be found.
"Is something the matter?" Hudiemon asked with a concerned tone. "What is it that you see?"

The first thing to take note about regarding the culprit behind all of this is that their webbing was not that strong. Omen was able to cut enough of it with a single stroke that the Hudiemon was able to free herself, with the Wispmon attaining a perfect landing in the process.
Very magnificent, if she did say so herself! Moreover, she locked eyes with two little bugs. A Kunemon and a Wormmon--but before she had been able to pursue, she was pulled into a hug by Hudiemon! And rather roughly, too. "Owowow!" She winced at the brief, yet potent pain!
But, she was also released. "I-It's fine. And...A digimon's doing this? Just...acting like a spider and webbing people up?" It sounded hard to believe that a Digimon would just go and do this...To people...
...It couldn't be left alone, either. Omen looked uncertain until something caught her eye. Something she had seen before, time and time again. Something that belonged to one of the few people she truly called a friend.
Hudiemon's words sort of dulled in her ears as she moved towards the D3. Her tail swiped it up to confirm it and...
"...Where's...Nanami...?"
They were whispered, but there was an abject amount of fear within the Wispmon's words. Given what she was just told. She turned to Hudiemon. "This belongs to a friend of mine. I...Um. Have you seen her? She's got pink hair, a bit taller than me and..." She trailed off.
...
Despite being the daughter of someone who many would call a hero, Omen did not have any idea what it was she was to do here.
She couldn't see the future like her mom did. No directions.
"...Can you help me find her? Please?"
But she did have words.

"Not acting like a spider," Hudiemon corrected the Wispmon. "Is a spider. Dokugumon has been ensnaring anyone who comes into anyone that she considers her territory. And... well... doing what spiders do to their prey. She consumed them and absorbs their data..." She gave a distant stare as she explained. "And the same was going to happen to me, if not for you, little one! Dokugumon is little more than a mindless beast that consumes anyone who gets caught up in her web. I used to have a very dear friend, but now she's..." She didn't finish her sentence, but it was obvious what the answer was going to be.
And when Omen asked Hudiemon for help, she swallowed some air to gather some courage before nodding. "Of course, child. I owe you for saving my life. And the thought of freeing a victim from Dokugumon would please me greatly! That's why I'm here in the first place, to tamper with Dokugumon's meals!" She knelt down and gently picked the Wispmon up.
"I'll bring us closer to the center of Dokugumon's domain. And I just want you to focus on looking for your friend, okay? Don't think of anything else, or you might see something you don't want to see!"
Of course, if Omen had any questions, this would probably be the time to ask them. Chances are, she wouldn't get a lot of knowledge when it came time to kick in a spider's face into her thorax.

Dokugumon.
This was a kind of Digimon that Omen had heard the name of before, a cautionary tale spun by her would-be reincarnated grandfather. The Kotemon known as Praying Mantis. Yet everything that Hudiemon told her only gave cause for more, and more alarm. It was frightening to imagine someone as docile as Nanami being in the clutches of something like Dokugumon...
Omen wanted to break free of Hudiemon's grasp, but...she could fly, right? That would actually be quite invaluable for here. So, she would remain. "...If I find her, should I try cutting her free immediately?" An obvious question, but...there was otherwise nothing more that Omen could think of asking.
"And....If Dokugumon shows up...Should I try fighting her or focusing on Nanami?"
This was more important. Omen was well aware she could help Hudiemon in fighting Dokugumon, but she wanted to know what the Hudiemon thought.

Hudiemon seemed to be on high alert, her head quickly looking around her at almost all times. Clearly she was intimidated by Dokugumon, or whatever it was that lurked in this area. But she looked down to Omen with a hint of sadness in her eyes. "You care a great deal about this friend of yours, don't you?" She asked, shaking her head. "I had a good friend once, but then... Dokugumon..." Her voice trailed off as she clenched her fists. "That's why I'm here now. So don't worry about fighting Dokugumon, okay? I just want you to focus on searching for your friend! If you keep thinking about her, I'm sure you'll see her very soon!" After that, she was quiet for a moment. Then Hudiemon knelt down and tapped the Wispmon's side, pointing up towards a grouping of webs in between two tall, stone structures. "In fact... isn't that your friend, up there?" If Omen dared to look up, she would see a part of the web was clumpy, as a small figure was partially sticking out of a web cocoon. An emaciated-looking human girl with pink hair, her head hanging down, motionless. Her amber eyes were wide open, an expression of terror on her face, and yet, their eyes had no life in them whatsoever. But before Omen could go up there to get to her friend, Hudiemon patted the Wispmon on the head, whispering, "I don't expect your forgiveness for this, but I'm so very sorry for this, little one."Then she unleashed a torrent of a strange blue powder that blew from her wings. If the Wispmon was struck by it, she would find that she would be unable to move. Then the Hudiemon would fly far away from Omen, as the skittering sounds of a large creature with many legs began to creep ever closer into the Wispmon's ears.
- Hudiemon betrayed the fuck out of Omen, trying to hit the unsuspecting Wispmon with her [Freeze Powder] ability. And afterwards, the sound of a spidery creature approaches. Plus, it looks like Nanami's dead or something, so that sucks, too. Freeze Powder - Hudiemon releases a powder that immobilizes an enemy. Duration: 1 Post Cooldown: 2 Posts

Was it that obvious that Omen cared for Nanami? Well, it...wasn't like she made it subtle or anything. The two had a bad habit of ending up in the same places, even if it was on purpose or otherwise. It got to the point where Omen had been, at least before this, looking forward to the next time she'd see her. Which was why she was so afraid of what she may find. "Yeah, I..." Think carefully. "...She's very important to me." It was also fairly easy to tell how much this meant to Hudiemon. Body language indicated so much--she didn't need to ask to know what had happened. That's why the Hudiemon was here, right? Omen would look up, sighting Nanami right in...the webs of Dokugumon, assumedly. And...She seemed frozen. Dead still. There was naught but horror in the face of the Wispmon, her eyes wide and her mouth agape. She was about to move, yet...she felt a hand. An apology. And a sudden rush of cold. That was a surprise attack. There was really no doubt that it was going to work on a child who was unsuspecting of betrayal, especially one who made such perfect bait. Omen was perfectly still now, her face frozen. Her everything frozen. It made the chill she was feeling feel more like hypothermia. In essence, she had no mouth, and she wanted to scream.
Relevant Passives: Fatekeeper [Ram Upgrade GIGA]: This individual is 'blessed' with an eidetic memory, which doesn't do much outside of combat outside of meaning 'she remembers things super good.' In combat, however, this recordkeeping memory is best used as a means to recall. And with this digimon, recollection can serve more than one singular purpose. She can replace Fatekeeper with any passive ability she has learned about. Doing this locks the passive in for three posts, before it may be changed again. Ghost of the Forest [Passive]: Wispmon is a rather lightweight creature, being about 30% quicker than the average rookie despite not being very hardy at all. Retention [Passive - RAM Upgrade]: This individual is capable of recalling and understanding various things she has been subjected to, and can use the knowledge it remembers to fuel some abilities in it's later forms. It varies depending on the form, and is functionally useless at Rookie, but at Champion at so forth, it's two passives and two actives, and so on.
Omen's struck by Hudiemon. Thanks. She's helpless. Completely helpless for a turn.

After a moment's hesitation, the Hudiemon spoke up as Omen remained there, completely paralyzed by current situation. "I don't want to do this, but I have to get my friend back..." She whispered into the Wispmon's ear, before she stepped away and flew back to put some distance between herself and Omen... and whatever was approaching the immobile Wispmon. "For what it's worth, I hope that it ends quick for you..." The skittering sound became even louder, directly above Omen now. And drops of sludgy liquid dripped down, landing beside the Wispmon. A viscous, purple liquid that seemed to sizzle on the ground, its fumes enough to burn Omen's nostrils if she got too close. From above, the liquid was dripping down from a Dokugumon's slobbering maw. "Food..." She groaned, lowering herself from a suspended web as she slowly approached the Wispmon. It looked like she was ready to get the drop on the poor, defenseless Wispmon. Then it unleashed a burst of web from its body, simultaneously spraying some of that purple, venomous liquid onto it as it shot towards Omen. This web wasn't meant to immobilize her, however. Only to slow her down and make her suffer for a bit. After all, even a defenseless rookie could be a pain to eat, right? Best to slowly make her meal suffer for a while and eventually make her give up in despair!
- Hudiemon puts some distance between herself and Omen, and by default, the creature ready to eat Omen. Because she didn't take damage last post, her [Momentum Fever] passive kicks in, refreshing one of her cooldowns by 1. - Dokugumon appears, and uses her [Venom Web] ability. If it's not blocked or somehow avoided (despite Omen being immobilized), it will slow her down for a few posts while dealing damage to her over time. This damage is further amplified by her [Venom Amp] passive, and this damage over time ability is incredibly persistent, thanks to her [Powerful Poison] passive.
Hudiemon -
[Passive] 1. Momentum Fever - If Hudiemon didn't take any damage during the last post, one of their active cooldowns is decreased by 1. Cooldown: 2 Posts
Duration/Cooldowns: 2. Freeze Powder - Duration Ends. Cooldown 1/2 Momentum Fever - 0/2
Dokugumon -
[Passive] 1. Powerful Poison - Debuffs and Effects that deal Lingering Damage ignore the first ability used to remove them, so it takes two named abilities to remove either Dokugumon or Hudiemon's lingering effects. Immunities and OPT skills are exempt from this ability, of course.
[Active] 5. Venom Web - Shoots the enemy with a venomous web that slows the target down by 50% for 3 posts, as well as deals a small amount of damage each round of this effect. Duration: 3 Posts Cooldown: 4 Posts
[Passive] 6. Venom Amp - When an enemy takes lingering damage from an ability, that damage is increased by an additional 20% for every additional post that ability has been active. So on the first turn of lingering damage, it would be a 20% increase, the second a 40% total, and the third a 60% increase in damage. This ability won’t work on a lingering damage effect on its 4th turn or longer.

Frozen. Immobile. There was barely anything that Omen could do in this state but pray, pray to Homeostasis that her flame would be able to outlast this ice. Why? Why would she be sacrificed to someone just for some...selfish reason like that? She had thought they were going to get their friends back together. "For what it's worth, I hope that it ends quick for you..."Ends quick for you. Ends quick. Ends. ... Rime began to break and melt as fire began to heat up. "...Who...the...hell...do...you...take m-me...t-to...be..." Her nostrils burned, and as Dokugumon launched whatever...that was, the fire upon the Wispmon's stomach would overtake her very form. It was a very painful Digivolution. One that should never have been done like this. She should have avoided the attack first, the ice was already receding. But as the creature leapt forward, a rookie at one moment and a champion the next, she found a latent...understanding of what this venom was. Perhaps she was right to do what she did next. She turned, a cold fury in her eyes despite the flames of her being surging. A ring formed around her. Omen did not have any words for either of her enemies, but they weren't going to subject her to this bullshit. Not for long, anyways. No, they were going to play by HER rules today, in a game of death. The ring expanded to encompass all of Dokugumon's lair. And despite the maelstrom of emotion within the Teumesmon, she was able to keep leveling a cold stare for the beast, as if daring it to come for her despite the -abject- amount of pain she was in as a result of the searing venom within the Digimon.
Truth-Seeking Lens [Passive]: For how squishy one might consider Omen in this form, she is far removed from the term 'weak.' Opponents who employ mental abilities of any kind, especially hypnosis, pacification, or mind control, will find that Teumesmon is COMPLETELY immune to them.
Fleeting Light [Passive]: One would be a piss poor fox if they were, as an azure hedgehog once said, too slow. Teumesmon is 30% swifter than most Digimon of her level, as a result, though her durability is below par to compensate.
All-Knower [Passive - RAM Upgrade]: Teumesmon is able to replace this passive with any that she has learned about. If she does this, the passive will remain for three posts before she is able to switch it out once more.
Omen gets HIT BY VENOM WEB TOO. This just isn't really her day! She gains some distance between herself and Dokugumon, before she decides to screw everyone else over by activating the Go-EN Team Ability, House Rules as her action. House Rules: A large ring is formed around the user. While within this area, everyone is subjected to a set of ‘rules’ for five posts. Buffs, debuffs, and other field effects' durations are reduced to one post. Along with this, Digimon are unable to gain stacks/tokens if their abilities would normally allow, and no attack/ability is capable of being charged. Once Per Thread. Durations: Venom Web: 0/3? Unsure if House Rules will work on it. If so, it will only last for a turn. If not. Welp?

And as the unlucky now-Teumesmon unleashed her bullshit teamwork superpower, she could feel the effect of Dokugumon's venom. She was unable to move, but thanks to her new ability, she could feel the effect begin to fade shortly after. What a convenient power! But Hudiemon didn't seem too pleased. Especially after witnessing the little Wispmon evolve. "I don't expect you to understand, but the sooner Dokugumon devours your data, the sooner I can get my friend back! No matter how hard you struggle, the result's going to be the same! So please, don't make this any harder than it has to be!" As for Dokugumon? She was using her mouth as well. "Food!" She repeated, diving down to chomp the Teumesmon. Was biting a fiery ghost fox thing a smart idea? Probably not, but the spider monster didn't seem to care. Plus, there was all that poison stuff to worry about. So it might hurt for a while if it hit!
- Hudiemon takes no action this post, other than making liberal use of the whole Talking Is A Free Action thing. Seriously, you should just give up and let Dokugumon eat you. - Dokugumon drops down to take a bite out Omen with [Venom Bite]. It's got a poisonous effect that deals damage for 3 posts. - Since [Venom Web] has a debuff effect it's effect expires, before dealing a bit of a poisonous effect that's amplified by 20% thanks to [Venom Amp]. But since [Venom Bite]'s effect isn't really a debuff and more about pure damage, I'm gonna rules lawyer it and say that it's unaffected by [House Rules]. A tad bit scummy, but I'm supposed to try and win these things, right? And the alternative is to stall out [House Rules]'s ABSURDLY long duration, and no one wants that! Relevant Abilities: Same as this post, plus [Active] 4. Venom Bite - Deals a small amount of damage, but infects the target with a poison that deals damage for the next three posts. It had more or less worked as she was told it would work. The rules had been lain out, pain receded as quick as it had come, the web seeming to fall away. It didn't stop the brief bit she felt from burning beyond what she was capable of, however... Hudiemon's words vexed her. They were simple, likely meant to coerce her into giving up, but...she couldn't. This was, like it or not, a life or death situation. If she didn't win, more people would die to Dokugumon. More people like whoever Hudiemon's worthless friend was. But, most importantly? ...Nanami'd likely die. What sort of princess lets the prince go like that? No words were uttered. The only real option here was to make sure Dokugumon paid for her hubris, and to spite Hudiemon at every turn she could. Such would require studying everything she could. The Teumesmon was keen to display her agility, bounding back and away from the Dokugumon to avoid the jaws of the beast. An observation. Bugs are ultimately flesh and blood, like any other. Bugs are also horribly suspect to fire. Capitalize. Immolate. When the Dokugumon would land, hopefully, Omen would spring forth, her very form becoming a torrent of white-hot flames as it surged to engulf the Dokugumon. Or try to, remember, most things feel an inherent urge to get away from something that'd cause them harm.
Relevant Passives: Fatekeeper [Ram Upgrade GIGA]: This individual is 'blessed' with an eidetic memory, which doesn't do much outside of combat outside of meaning 'she remembers things super good.' Omen jumps away from the Venom Bite. Not today. All-Knower is toggled and swapped out with Retention. That duration also isn't really subject to House Rules. Because that'd circumvent what it was approved with. She also attacks with Teumessos Blaze, trying to basically cook Dokugumon! Hudiemon's words only serve to infuriate Omen. There is no giving up. Not when your best friend is at stake. Teumessos Blaze: Omen converts her ENTIRE BODY into a storm of fire that surges for an opponent, aiming to engulf them for severe damage. Intangible as she may be, she is a white-hot hazard for any who would lay a hand on the flames. She can still sustain damage like this, too, and reverts to normal once she either hits with this or misses. This attack can and will ignore shields! Three post cooldown. Durations: House Rules: 1/4! All-Knower: 1/3! Cooldowns: Teumessos Blaze: 0/3

With quick movements and even quicker thinking, Omen managed to avoid Dokugumon's onslaught, and then counter with an attack of her own. And Omen's deductions were correct. Dokugumon was a creature did not like fire very much, being a living creature that's capable of burning to death and whatnot. In fact, as Omen's attack struck true and scorched up Dokugumon's exoskeleton a fair bit, the spider recoiled almost instinctively from the source of heat like some sort of beast. In fact, if Omen were observant enough, she would notice that this particular Digimon didn't seem particularly intelligent at all.
Dokugumon let out a wild scream, channeling all her rage and pain into one adrenaline-filled, non-sensical, bestial roar.
"Just give up! I won't let you kill her!" Hudiemon cried out, swooping down and sending a wave of a half-mist, half-powder atop Dokugumon. Wherever Hudiemon's powder came into contact with one of Dokugumon's burns it began to heal over just a bit. And yet, it didn't seem to be appreciated by Dokugumon in the slightest. The spider Digimon growled at the Hudiemon, causing her to fly up higher to retreat. Then almost as if she forgot the Hudiemon even existed, Dokugumon glared right back at the Teumesmon, letting loose a smooth, silky webbing that gave off a sickly sweet scent that would make Omen's nose tingle. A poison that might have some ill effects on the emotionally fragile bewitching beast Digimon.
- Dokugumon's attack gets dodged, so that's lame. Then she gets hurt by a 3-cd piercing move, which is even lamer. So totally lame.
- Hudiemon is here to help, though! Just... not you, because you probably smell bad, or something. She heals Dokugumon with her aptly-named [Healing Powder] skill, then just kinds of flutters away again.
- Dokugumon tells to Hudiemon to piss off and then attempts to drug the fox with a poison that makes Omen see shit she probably doesn't wanna see with her [Web of Lies]. I don't know if Omen's [Truth-Seeking Lens] passive prevents her from tripping balls or if it's just from psychic mumbo-jumbo, so I'll let you decide how effective Dokugumon's attempt at chemical warfare is.
[Abilities Used]
4. Healing Powder - Hudiemon releases a powder that heals 1 target a moderate amount. Cooldown: 2 Posts
[Active] 3. Web of Lies - Produces a web that emits a hallucinogenic agent that tricks the target into thinking an illusory is coming. What form the illusion takes is up to the target's owner. If the target attacks on their next post, they must either attack the illusion, or include the illusion in the attack’s area of effect as, with what they believe their strongest named ability that's not an OPT. Both the illusion and the web are destroyed when hit with a single attack, and only lasts for 1 post regardless. Duration: 1 Post Cooldown: 3 Posts

In·stinct. Noun. An innate, typically fixed pattern of behavior in animals in response to certain stimuli. This is what drove Dokugumon. That's what became apparent to Omen in the rapid instants that was this...fight, if one could call it that. Fire found itself near the creature, and as it screamed, Omen found the urge to scream back. Scream in defiance. Fighting such an urge back was hard. Initially a success for her, but Hudiemon's words... Just give up! I won't let you kill her!... Was Dokugumon the friend she spoke of? Was she willingly luring people, helpless people to their deaths? To Dokugumon? A PLETHORA of emotions surged through Omen in that singular moment, as the Web of Lies fell true upon her. The room swirled in a miasma of colors as a flash of flames briefly encompassed Omen, black and yellow swirling around her. As for the illusion in question? It was something she never truly saw. More...felt the presence of. It was pure dread made manifest, the wicked which way came. The dread that something that didn't care about who or what you were. A creature shrouded in black, unblinking yellow eyes staring down in a maddened grin as it balanced atop it's tail and clasped it's claws together. ... Why did it sound so enticing? The idea of letting go....It unsettled her, yet it sounded pretty good right now. The Teumesmon would normally have words to retort with, but instead there was only an ear-piercing scream before she would fire forth an Occult Flare, jagged and unruly, with the attack unexpectedly being split between ALL three of the targets, even the one that wasn't truly there. At least one would hit, and as it did? The web's illusion burned. While still clapping it's claws. Whether the rest dared to was on them. But there was an overall panic settling into the Teumesmon. Something daring to teeter closer, and closer to snapping.
Laying Odds [Passive]: The user is capable of adjusting the rules of a damaging move that they are casting. If they wish, the user can disperse the damage across a maximum of three targets when using an ability that would normally only affect one enemy. 2 Post Cooldown.
Omen is hit by Web of Lies. Ordinarily, Teumesmon would be immune to this, but to the player, narrative trumps mechanics where appropriate. This? Is pretty appropriate. The result? Omen witnesses something that's unfortunately related to her trying to used honeyed words that genuinely unsettle her through how -reasonable- it sounds in a time of duress like this. So, she attacks with Occult Flare, with a team ability applied to it, represented visually by the attack pretty much breaking to go for Hudiemon and Dokugumon too. Occult Flare: Teumesmon is able to summon forth magical flames with a number of uses. In combat, however, Omen uses these flames for offensive purposes exclusively, as defense is a myth for her. These flames can take on most any shape, but all do equivalent amounts of damage. 2 post cooldown. Laying Odds [Passive]: The user is capable of adjusting the rules of a damaging move that they are casting. If they wish, the user can disperse the damage across a maximum of three targets when using an ability that would normally only affect one enemy. 2 Post Cooldown. Durations: House Rules: 2/4 All-Knower: 2/3 before Retention can be swapped out. Cooldowns: Teumessos Blaze: 1/3 Occult Flare: 0/2 Laying Odds: 0/2
