Ozith Village X. “I don’t think you’ll be able to.”
As soon as Daichi finished his first sentence, even before he tried to talk to Kenna, the Coronamon warned the human about the impossibility to communicate. “Figured.” She wrinkled her mouth as she glanced at the group. “We are right below the operational base of Unaba in Ozith, so it is to be expected any other line that does not constitute a safe line for them is blocked at least here.” Luckily, it seemed like neither Ina nor the fire lioness was waiting for Daichi to reach Kenna immediately. “If anything, we should probably b—“ The Coronamon interrupted herself as her eyes widened. “S-Sorry, I need to take something.” She noted as she walked away from the group, towards one of the corners of the poorly illuminated room. “Y-Yes, Master…!” They could hear her change her tone drastically to a passive one as she seemed to be talking to a voice only she could hear. Ina, on her side, still took Daichi’s digivice gladly, putting it away inside a small bag she carried across her back. "Works for me. I’ll keep this for now.” She noted while squinting, clearly not completely convinced by the group’s explanation but still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt based on what they had explained. “I mean, I don’t have much of a choice.” Ina noted. “I can’t leave you just wander freely, so I better keep you around for the rest of this.” Slowly, the Monodramon reached for something inside her bag, showing a small, old map and putting it over the floor. Luckily, the fire the Coronamon had put on earlier remained and lightened this section of the otherwise murky chamber. Before driving her attention to the map, she looked at the human and her digimons again. “I’m Ina, by the way. The cat over there is Lire.” What a time for introductions, huh? “She is… not from here, as you can probably tell, but I need her in order to execute this plan perfectly. She has been very helpful.” She added while pointing at the Coronamon with one of her silver claws, while the ‘cat’ kept speaking to someone in her head having taken distance from them. “I need you to tell me everything you know so far. Everything you have found out about and whatever… Kenna has told you.” She squinted when mentioning her name. “You mentioned you know about the digimons trapped in here, didn’t you? We know where they are.” The Monodramon now took one of her claws to the map. The old piece of paper showed some type of complex with different rooms and stairs going all over. She was now pointing at a giant room at the further right side of the chart. The chamber had ‘Prison’ written over to it. “We are here.” She noted while pointing at the left side of the map, right at a room that had the word ‘Warehouse’ written over it. To the left of that room, the words ‘Secret entrance’ could be seen, meaning that was where they had entered from. “There is no way to go from the warehouse to the prison without going over here first.” She then pointed at the center of the map, a room that was drawn differently, as if it were on the surface over all of the other rooms. It was marked with the words ‘Unaba Secret Headquarters’. “But that’s fine, because we need to go through there to get more information. According to our intel, Unaba higher-ups are about to have a meeting with someone, and we need all of the information we can get from that."Letting out a long sigh, Lire reunited with the group around the map. “ So… did you explain the situation?” “What’s wrong?” Ina asked back. “Oh. H-Huh… nothing. The meeting starts at 10:00 am so we should get moving soon, although we still have time.” “Then why did she reach you?” Ina insisted “Uhmm… A-Apparently someone got into my crew’s ship in Binagi Shore and stole something very important…” The Coronamon admitted while scratching her cheek, sweat-dropping. “Master is pissed.”Ina tilted her head, right before turning her attention back to Daichi. “Okay! So… If you have any questions about the plan, or about anything, this is a good time. Also, as I mentioned, I need all of the information you have about this whole thing.”
Whether it was because of the straightforwardness the situation demanded or because there was frankly not a lot more to do given the circumstances, the Meicoomons would find themselves in a rather short course of actions. A quick scouting of the exterior of this house proved it was… very similar to just a regular house in town, but slightly bigger. This meant there was seemingly not any special security measure to protect it from someone like Mana sneaking in, but also not any secret passage. A window half-opened on the front side of the second floor of the building, and a bigger one shut by the back of it. The triangular nature of the mid-ceiling allowed Mana to wander freely through it from the outside, but these two windows seemed to be the only way in through there that not involved directly destroying a part of the structure. There was also a front doorway, which looked particularly murky on the inner side by the contrast of the well-illuminated street (despite the weather starting to get progressively cloudy). Voices coming from the inside of the house seemed to show there was at least a couple of creatures near the main door, probably guarding it. A couple of windows could also be found to the sides of the house on the first floor, but these were also shut, so unless Mana could think of a way to open them, it would prove to be fairly harder to get through those compared to the one opened. That’s it; no backdoor. No ventilation grid. The archaic nature of this house made it harder to look for alternatives.
Nami had decided to prepare by searching for any potential item to use or clue around the ship. Sadly, the cargo compartment that she and the Troopmon occupied was as empty and uneventful as one could find. Since the beginning, the Meicoomon had decided to completely ignore the solder-like digimon traveling with her, not wondering for even once what was her reason to be there, or at least not voicing her doubts. Was that the only potential clue this place had to offer? Well, it didn’t matter now, as she could feel the ship starting to descend aggressively. They had arrived! A roar issued through the ship as it landed, a combination of both the pressurized air being released to drop the ramp now and Mailbirdramon announcing its arrival. “Why do we have to land so far away, Ulak!?” Aleh’s voice increased in volume as the Guilmons seemingly moved from the inside of the ship towards the outside compartment. “Whoops! This is my stop, pal!” The Troopmon noted in a leisure manner as she stood up and jumped outside as soon as the ramp started deploying. “We don’t know what caused the roar that made Ultimate Brachimon move… We don’t know if there could be someone around the factory. Besides, I’m not taking any chances with that crazy scientist in there. Let’s proceed with… certain caution.”Finally, the door to the inside room started opening. It was probably a good time for Nami to move, wasn’t it? “How much caution?” Aleh accompanied that question with a giggle. “Not too much.” Her brother noted, right before they jumped into the thicket and raced towards the west. Ultimate Brachimon X. It only took Scarab and Skadi to launch forward along with Qhawe for the Commandramons to start fighting back immediately. Some of them moved back and started taking cover to shoot against the three warriors fighting fiercely. Others immediately took out knives and started slashing back at the Fladramon, the Stingmon, and the Silvergrademon respectively. In different shapes and forms, a major battle had started. Blows, slashes, and bullets came from everywhere, just as the trio’s techniques counterattacked. The particular aggression these Commandramon’s fought with, kind of showed how angry Ultimate Brachimon was just from them getting into the factory, which unavoidably meant that, although these soldiers didn’t hit particularly hard, they stood up every time they were hit too. “Take this!” Qhawe’s gauntlets started spinning once again, just like when he had shot Korka before. Fire bullets started flying everywhere, him jumping to take distance from the soldiers and hitting as many Commandramons as he could. With explosions and roars echoing behind, Bruga led the way inside the aisles of the factory, her arms flailing behind as she ran. Luckily, the building seemed to be rather simple in composition, with simple, rusty hallways branching all over. Most of these led to simple, abandoned rooms with old machinery that seemed to have not been used for a very long time, while some other just continued the way inside. This way, the group only had to rule out hallways and empty rooms as they made their way to the very back of the factory, looking for wherever this mysterious digimon/scientist could be. The good news? The group was big enough, so it was easy to comb the whole area quickly. As they reached the end of their search and regrouped in a single squad of six to make their way through the last hallway, they could hear their inventories beep. Skadi and Scarab would also hear theirs beep too, even in the heat of battle. “Hey, everyone. I figured I don’t care if Amelie hears this, as she probably already knows. Actually, you can put me on speaker.” Kenna noted, somehow annoyed by the current developments, with a gist of resignation in her voice. “You probably know this already too but… you’re reaching the end of your mission. The truth about Ultimate Brachimon and the way to stop Unaba from getting it… lies ahead. I-I’m sorry… I wish you find another way of solving things but... I can’t help but feel the biggest battle of your group… no, of the whole mission so far, is about to break lose.” The scientist managed, her voice breaking for a second. “According to what these warriors were saying in the recording… I think I already know who’s right ahead. The scientist they mentioned. He’s… not a bad digimon. He’s just… hard to deal with.”Just as Kenna issued these words, the group reached the end of the hallway, finding an old laboratory. Although it was dimly illuminated and the machinery inside also seemed quite old, it was a lot more evident that someone lived here. It didn’t look abandoned. Inside? Multiple Commandramon robots aiming at them with their guns. “At ease.” A raspy, perhaps male voice, stopped them. It would actually sound… very familiar for everyone here. It was extremely similar to the voice of Bon, Kenna's partner. The Commandramons lowered their guns immediately. The source of the voice was a digimon standing behind them, still covered by the darkness of the laboratory. “If there was something I could not have, for my life, predicted… was that you were still alive, Kenna.” He noted with tranquility in his tone, almost amused. “I should have known…” Bruga let out a sigh, having recognized this voice too. “And I could have never thought you were the one behind Ultimate Brachimon! L-Like… I knew you were brilliant but… to create such a massive being!” Kenna responded, her voice denoted she was clearly speaking to someone she knew very well. “Great ideas exist in the mind of great geniuses to be made a reality!” He exclaimed. “You should be glad Ultimate Brachimon was here to protect me. Otherwise, Unaba would have me in their hands already. Isn’t it fun? The dinosaur they need the most on the whole island, is the one that they can't get!”“I cannot even… start imagining how long it took you to create that. For how long you hid it from me. Bon said…” “Tsk. DON’T EVEN MENTION HIM.” The raspy voice shouted, getting quite fretted for the first time. “G-Geez… okay, okay.” Kenna let out a sigh. “Listen. Besides trying to get you, Unaba is looking for a way of killing Ultimate Brachimon and absorbing its power. They think its a real digimon. If they find a way of using it in their favor, do you have any idea of how dangerous that could be?”“Well, let them come! Have you seen Ultimate Brachimon? He’s the epitome of evolution! They’ll never defeat it! They will NEVER get me!”“I-Idiot! Ultimate Brachimon was walking away distracted by a simple earthquake! You were about to be completely vulnerable!” “Amelie was in charge of bringing him back!” “Who the hell is this Amelie and why do you suddenly trust her!?” “I-I…!” “You need to deactivate Ultimate Brachimon. Get it out of the gameboard before it can be used against us! It’s just too dangerous!” “Don’t listen to them, Blue Dino! They just want to hinder your scientific growth or something!” Amelie’s voice could suddenly be heard inside the room. This time she was not hacking the lines, she was right there. “Ugh. You again!?” “Hehe.” The Syakkomon giggled. “I’m sorry, did you think you were going to get rid of me just like that?” The clam’s tone had some very evident gist of spite. “You’re about to know the wrath of a Treasure Hunter, you bitch!”From the darkness within the room, a tall, slim figure, started materializing. Soon enough, it would become evident it was Korka who had appeared. “Traveling through darkness is a quite useful skill. Imagine if I had to run through all of those hallways to get here.” The devil stood next to the figure still engulfed in the darkness. “I’m sorry, guys. The scientist is staying with us.” He noted, looking at the group. “Kenna…. I have my own pieces across the board. These guys… they’re going to help me stop Unaba. They will protect me.” The scientist, still hidden in the darkness, was now standing between Korka and Amelie. “W-What… what are you saying!? Is... -- Is this really happening? Are you leaving the fate of our island in the hands of these pirates?” Kenna asked in desperation. “Would this island be safer in your hands, Kenna?” Amelie asked smugly. “Didn’t everyone believe you were dead until some minutes ago? Didn’t you let your dinos fall on Unaba’s hand in the first place? Hehe ~”Silence. It was clear that one stung for Kenna. She took a deep breath and managed to speak again. “In a few minutes… Ulak and Aleh, two of the strongest warriors from Unaba are going to be here.” Kenna revealed in a serious tone, still talking just to the scientist, trying to ignore Amelie. “ They are set on getting you. And I’m sure they’ll find the way of bypassing Ultimate Brachimon if they have to. I am not going to let you bet the fate of our island like this. I’m not alone now, I have a team to help me out. And… no matter what…”
As a cloud outside moved and the light started sneaking in through the window, the figure of the scientist they were talking to this whole time was revealed before Kenna finished her sentence. “… You’re coming with us, Nob!”
Bruga yielded her sword. This time Qhawe was not here, so she was waiting for someone else's order. What were they going to do? Mysterious Ship X. It was clear that, without Bon, they would have barely been able to get the information from the table before the gas got to Sasha. The Agumon’s help was giving Sasha and Kenna some time to look for an exit and examine something more in here. While the sounds of a fierce battle happening outside could still reach Sasha’s bee ears, Kenna made a pause as she decided to take a look at the coffin. “Are you…?” She started muttering a question that she never finished, as Sasha confirmed her intentions and let her know what she should tell Bon. “R-Right. You’re going to come back. You can see a lot better than me in here, so I’ll just try to look for a way out of this place meanwhile. Given your size… I think I have an idea for you. I just need to figure out how to get Bon out. If you get trapped or something, don't worry, I'll go get you.”With that, Sasha zoomed towards the coffin. Although at first, from just exploring its outsides she couldn’t find a lot around it, as soon as she knocked it and called for that voice from before, there was an immediate reaction. Her sight turned progressively dark again, although she could still feel her bee body. Actually, she was now just casually flying still in a completely dark room. It was almost as if she was in the middle of nothingness. “So… you’re still alive.” Again, that voice coming from her insides resonated in her head. “You may think it’s a trifle but, in reality, it’s actually quite an accomplishment to keep yourself moving forward for half an hour while being in that form.” A giggle escaped the mysterious lady. “Actually… are you aware that now I’ll always know exactly where you are at any moment? I’d say that’s quite an issue when you’re trying to steal information from me. It’s like having a spy in my own crew!” Instead of being angered by this, this voice actually seemed to find it interesting. Slowly, the figure of a woman started materializing in this sheer darkness. She was quite tall (regardless of Sasha being particularly small right now), her black outfit was leathery and looked slightly worn out. The chains hanging from her body echoed in this black void as they clicked. She had a black mask, red eyes, and a long, dark arm. “I’m sorry, but I’m not in my coffin right now. I’m busy working, as you can probably tell from the data you got from you rummaging through my stuff." She scoffed. "I’m in Ozith Village, but it is possible I’ll be moving soon.”The sound of Bruyne and Bon’s quarrel reached them in this black void. “You... do know he has orders to kill you if he gets you, don’t you?” She laughed. “You still have some time before he breaks in and kills you or and I still have some time before my meeting, so…” The lady started floating and crossed her long legs. “Why did you call? Is there something you want to ask?” It's 9:46 am! Rain is about to start falling on Idayi Island.

There wasn’t much for Nami to do, at least initially. She had meant to see if there was anything else to be found inside the cargo ship, but there wasn’t anything immediately striking before the ship had to land. Sure, she maybe could’ve interacted with the Troopmon a little more, but what certainty did she have about what they wanted, or anything else for that matter? The whole deal was just a little bit suspicious, and if possible the Meicoomon would’ve avoided any possible interactions with the nosy digimon, but that was just the hand she had been dealt. In any case, the ship eventually landed and the MailBirdramon-s hatch opened. The Troopmon had been corteous enough to ‘bid’ their companion farewell, something Nami barely acknowledged. Whether their paths would cross again or not was something up in the air, but at least for the time being, the Meicoomon wasn’t extremely worried about it. Nami abandoned the ship as well, making sure to stay hidden from ‘Aleh’ and ‘Ulak’ as much as possible. Was it possible for her to trace the path of the two dinosaurs without raising suspicion? Hopefully. And if she could do it from a distance where it was possible for her to reproduce the recording she hadn’t been able to hear? All the better. Mana’s situation was understandably a lot less exciting than her sister. A house where the entrances were fairly obvious, and where the surveillance had more or less pushed her into a corner felt… boring. Not to say, the fact that things were like this and not in any other way was a tad suspicious. Maybe things weren’t as easy as they seemed, but she was nonetheless determined to find out why they were the way they were. Thus, she concentrated on a far away enough point in order to create a fitting distraction. The guards would no doubt hear the resulting hellish screams that began resounding from farther away, and with any luck, they would maybe be dragged towards their direction! If effective, Mana would seize the confusion to sneak into the house as stealthily as she could. She wasn’t all that sure of what she was looking for, but that wasn’t a necessary tidbit of information, either. As long as she found her quarry, she figured that everything would slowly fall into place.

Boldly the three flew in, and boldly they fought. Scarab notably kept to the air to serve as a distraction for the Commandramon, opting to occasionally dive down to slam one hard enough to send it flying for another, or firing a Moon Shooter or three. It was three against a swarm in a place where level did not matter. So, a shifting of tactics was required, obviously. One that Scarab was all too eager to actually try out, too.
As Hisato, Gyo, Caine, Bruga and Kenny proceeded onwards, the inventory beeped once more. Hm. Given Kenna's words, he sighed and went to give a reply of his own. "I don't know if it will be inevitable, but mark my words when I say I'm gonna try to make sure it doesn't break loose." Was this another empty promise? Perhaps, but they had to at least try. To make up for what happened earlier.
The scientist, veiled in darkness, obviously had much to say to Kenna, and one could even guess that he liked the sound of his own voice...And to make matters all the more worse, Amelie and Korka were there too. Great. "It's a neat skill, sure--makes getting around a lot easier in theory." Gyo stated towards Korka. "But it isn't something that can decide the fate of something on it's own." The crimson dragon stared towards Amelie, next. "If I'm being honest, I wasn't expecting you to stay gone. I'd say I'm impressed, except...Speaking truthfully, I think you're just projecting."
On it's own...That one stuck out to Hisato...
...
"Why are we even against each other? We both want to see Unaba stopped, why do we have to oppose each other?" Hisato found himself asking aloud, staring daggers towards Amelie in particular. "You and I both know Kenna would fight tooth and nail for Idayi, and that the inhabitants would do the same for her. But saying she LET all of this happen is a gross misrepresentation of this whole thing. Have you no honor? Is this what a Treasure Hunter does?
A scientist can be capable of amazing things on their own, this is true, but they can't do everything alone. They have their weaknesses just like any other person, their shortcomings. Two however, two can cover for each other."
A pause.
"I would also like to point something out, Nob. We're not here to hinder anyone. Nor did anyone say it would be a permanent deactivation. UltimateBrachimon will likely survive as long as you wish it to. The question is, do you want it to still be yours, or under Unaba's control? What would Kenna want, Nob?"
It was at this point that Gyo glanced to Bruga. "If fighting breaks out, could I rely upon you to help me keep Amelie tied down? Not saying it will, but...Be ready for anything." Caine merely let out a sigh, meanwhile.
"Kenna speaks truth. The dogs of Unaba will be here in but a few minutes, and they will likely make short work of -all- of us if we're still here by then. Be it for Unaba's machinations, or their own." Their...their own? "Did you know Ulak and Alek want to kill your greatest work? To eat it? And that they're very willing to kill -all of you- to get to it?"
...Caine was known as the Seer for a reason.
He did not say all of this lightly, not without reason. He was dead serious.

Oh wow when Kenna said there was a hidden entrance Daichi did not expect for said entrance to put him right below the dragon's den if there was someone else that he knows he would've complained on how out of his league this feels for him, but since no one is here and has to keep on the Monodramon's good side he'll swallow his fear and keep on the brave act, now it's time to focus and infodump all he knows or remembers that Kenna told them and hopefully they'll be able to help with the plan
"OK first things first I'm not the only one that Kenna hired to help on the island, counting myself there are four humans and counting my two partners there are around eight digimon, Kenna explain the situation to us and gave us the option to pursue three different objectives, the first and the one me and two Meicoomon sisters are dealing with is helping in Ozith Village" Daichi made a pause to gather his thoughts "Kenna said that the other two main villages of the island are completely deserted and that Unaba has brought the digimons here to Ozith, most of the cameras were destroyed so Kenna has no vision on how the situation in the village is so we're here to gather information and see if we can help" Probably a good idea to talk about the approach of the twins that are not here "Once we landed Kenna gave us two options either sneak in through the secret passage or go into the village so we decided to split me and my partners would look for the secret entrance while the meicoo twins went into the village, we haven't talk to them since and with our communications cut we don't know how their side is going"
"The other mission Kenna provided us was to take care of a Brachimon who apparently was so huge it created earthquakes by just walking, that task is being handed by two tamers, much like with the twins without communications we have no idea how things are going" Jin added about one of the other missions, he figured it would be important especially if Ina or Lire knew something that could help
"OH OH! The third and last was something about inspecting a ship that pop up out of nowhere in the shore, not sure if friend or foe but that's why Sasha is there!" Han added the last piece of information
Hopefully that would put everyone on the same page and they could contribute with something to help, the trio pay attention to what Ina said and the map they were exactly on the opposite side of the prison all things considered it shouldn't be too hard reaching the other side with the group they have now, tho having to go through the headquarters and maybe spy on a meeting the higher ups will have there
"I see, so how many people these higher ups are going to be? Do we have a safe route to go from here to the headquarters and then the prison?" Those were the two big questions he had right now the self doubt crawling up his back being this deep in the wolf's mouth didn't help him "Any case if there's anything we can do to help say it and we'll do it, three more people surely will make this operation easier"

Truth be told, Sasha wasn't expecting anything to come from her banging on the coffin's door. Much less for the world around her to banish as she either went blind or found herself taken somewhere else, her only company being a voice. The woman's voice was unmistakeable, it was the same one that had seemingly granted her this "power", though it was more of a curse with perks than anything else.
"Thanks, I've been told I'm too stubborn to die." She practically spat back, more surprised that it had already been half an hour since she changed her form. Knowing the captain was aware of her every move was...concerning to say the least, not helped by how she eventually materialized in front of Sasha, a tall female figure with red eyes and leathery clothing. Admitedly it was a bit startling and intimidating to be confronted like that by someone much larger and probably stronger, but the small russian bee tried her best to not let it show, biting her lower lip while trying to keep her cool.
Which was slightly undermined by the devilish woman letting her know what fate awaited her should she let herself be captured by the shamamon outside. Concerning yes, but also an unsurprising one.
"Yeah I kinda figured by the whole toxic smoke." She said, shaking her head, before considering her options. Could she actually get any worthwhile information from this woman willingly? Well, she already came this far, asking was probably the best thing she could do. "Well I was wondering if there was any way to go back to my normal size. As handy as this power seems I can't imagine myself wanting to stay this small." She asked, trying to not let herself be too distracted by the leg crossing happening just in front of her. She thought for a moment longer, remembering what her mission here had been from the start.
"And why are you people here to begin with? Did you have anything to do with whatever's happening on the island?"

Skadi's aim on her leg of the battle was simple; cut through as much of the forces as much as she could while aiming to distract them for long enough that Qhawe and Scarab could pick them off one by one. Oftentimes, she found herself parrying the odd knife with her two rapiers, before going for a flat out thrust to the chest, aiming to skewer as much as she could. "You just don't know when to take 'no' for an answer, do you?" She dryly commented to no-one in particular, never taking her glance off the swarm all the while.
Thankfully, Bruga's side, the clones left to keep watch for the group included, wouldn't have much trouble - relatively speaking. And yet, as Kenna spoke, Kenny himself could start to feel his heart start to beat rapidly. The tone in Kenna's voice was merely enough to make his stomach churn in worry. Only Hisato's words would be enough to help lightly elevate the sting.
He knew he had to bring everything to the table just to avoid a repeat of the short-lived Gumo battle.
...
As the Commandramon swarm lowered their guns, so too would the SilverGrademon clones lower their blades in response as they listened to what the scientist had to say. Why did he have to take matters into his own hands in the first place? Why was he so damn adamant and insistent that this Ultimate Brachimon would be enough to save the rest from Unaba in the first place? Even as Kenna pointed out that letting it roam untouched was clearly a bad idea?
And wait a minute were both Amiele and Korka hired mercs or something? A fresh sense of alarm would hit Kenny and the shadowclones as they turned to the two self-proclaimed pirates, the latter pulling out their swords, but merely waited for Amelie to make a move the moment she stepped out of line. And wait, did he actually just claim that these two, the same two that refused to lift a finger to help them stop Unaba, was going to help him 'stop Unaba'?
"What the hell is going on...?" Kenny could only mutter in confusion as he rubbed his aching head. Not a moment later, and he found himself flinching as Sato's initial outburst towards the clam. Not that he didn't disagree with him or anything. Why the constant infighting? Why was Amiele so adamant on not helping them in the first place if she wanted to help 'stop Unaba' too?
As Hisato dropped that little whammy of a question upon Nob's shoulders, the young man would take a deep breath, before gesturing the clones to stand and keep watch for danger, then meeting Nob in the eye, not in a judgemental way, but with a firm glance. Already a feeling of deja vu would hit him once more; this wasn't the first time he'd deal with a Nise Agumon Hakase who hid their feelings under a veil of anger and paranoia, "Hisato and Caine's right. I know you want to stop Unaba any way you can. And we want to, too. And trust us, it wouldn't be like Kenna to just... up and abandon you all for shits and giggles. She was forced into hiding for good reason. And she sent us here to help because she needed all the help she could get to turn the tides back in our favour and save the island from falling into Unaba's hands entirely."
"We're not here to hurt you. Or to strip you of your pride and joy. In fact, we want to help you. And Ultimate Brachimon. I'm sure Kenna would find no joy just taking away your 'greatest creation' either, but if we just bicker and fight each other right here and now, well... we might as well be handing your creation over to Unaba on a silver platter and doom us all." Harsh as those words were, he had to make his point as strong as he could, "All we're asking of you right now is to work with us. Like Sato here said, we need you to temporarily deactivate the Ultimate Brachimon, and help us in any way you can. And once this is all said and done and Unaba is defeated for good, we can reactivate him, good as new, no questions asked."
How did it work? Kenny had not the foggiest idea. But he hoped, nay, prayed, that it didn't just fly in one ear and out the other. The look on the tamer's face would be enough to tell Nob that he wasn't being judged, but rather, it was out of desperation. A willingness to live up to this lofty promise any way he could.
And by God, he told himself, he would.

Showtime. Ozith Village XI. As Daichi progressed with his part of the explanation, Ina’s eyes started widening up. It seemed that, by actually explaining the plan that the person leading them had schemed, the Monodramon was starting to trust him more. Before Jin could contribute with his own piece of input, the dragon folded her arms and nodded firmly. “That is… amazing. So not only she knows about the state of the island and the other digimon being taken here, but she even got exterior help to aid us with all of this and designed a plan for all of you to follow.” For the first time since Daichi’s group had found her, he would spot a smirk being drawn on the dragon’s expression. “Kenna is simply... the best.” Was that… hope in her eyes? “Oh. I know a lot about Ultimate Brachimon. It certainly makes sense Kenna is worried about him.” Before Ina could explain further into this, Han would add the last piece of information about the ship and them being sent to explore it. This particular sentence was about to change things completely. “Well… at least about Ultimate B-““WHAT DID YOU SAY!?” In less than a second, Lire would hiss furiously and jolt towards Han, her claws out. Depending on the quality of the Koemon reflexes, he would be damaged more or less by this. If the monkey wasn’t quick enough, he would get some furious scratches all over, before a slimy chunk of Ina’s mushy substance threw the cat off him. “W-What are you doing!?” Ina whispered. The Coronamon would lash at the gum pushing her back with her claws, her fangs visible and just as sharp as her eyes. “It was one of them! They went into our ship!” “Shut up!” The Mondramon demanded. “You’re being too loud.” “Do you have any idea of what your friend just did?” The Coronamon turned towards Han again, notably lowering her tone of voice. It seemed like she was to attack him again at any second. Suddenly, the group would hear footsteps coming from the roof above them. “Lire, I get this is important to you, but the meeting is about to start. We can’t do this now!” “Yes, we can. I’ll just kill them where they stand.” “You won’t.” Ina’s mushy material stood in front of Lire, creating some sort of small wall. “Mainly because your crew still hasn’t recovered what you lost and that won’t fix anything, but also…” The Monodramon made a pause and looked at the Coronamon with deadly eyes. “… because they are Kenna’s friends and I just can’t allow it.”
Lire’s eyes widened. “If you want, we can fight until one of us dies right here, but the meeting is about to start and that will only make us fail the mission we’ve worked so hard on completing. Do you think your Master will be pleased about that?” Ina asked confidently. Slowly, Lire’s fighting stance vanished. She glared at Ina with cold eyes. “Fine." She reluctantly declared. "I just hope you know what this means for the future. The Dusk Pirates won’t forget about this.”Due to the group's decisions, it was clear a faint bond was starting to form between them and Ina. However, it seemed that their actions had made something change dramatically when it came to Ina and Lire’s alliance. How will this change the development of the mission in the future? “Let’s go, then.” Ina noted, still visibly upset from Lire’s declaration. The Monodramon turned around. “The meeting must be about to start.” Guided by Lire’s fire, the group got out of the warehouse through the only exit there was. This led to a set of metallic stairs that ascended in a sort of zigzag manner, only protected by a simple metallic rail. “This is where Unaba stores the supplies for the villagers.” Ina explained while they moved. “The whole place is quite unguarded as it’s not an official headquarter. Besides, Unaba is not really expecting any type of resistance except a certain clan opposing them.” She added. “Lire’s captain got a meeting with Unaba and it’s taking place up here. We don’t know a lot about the meeting, and sadly that includes how many people will be there. We do know the focus of the higher-ups on the island will be there while the meeting happens, so that’s our chance to move to the prison and see what they’re doing in there. The meeting should be about to start.”
Little after letting those screams… play, Mana would immediately hear multiple steps of guards running down the street. From either a back alley or one of the roofs (whatever she had chosen as her spot to remain unseen) she would see a couple of Coredramon, green and blue, running in the direction of the screaming after leaving the house the Meicoomon was trying to infiltrate into. When approaching the door now, voices couldn’t be heard from inside. Did that mean there were no more guards around? Unlikely, but that didn’t stop the Meicoomon from going in, as drizzling drops of water started slowly falling over Ozith’s streets. Regardless of how sneaky she attempted to be, it was a very simple entrance, just like the rest of the place. That meant there weren't lots of places to hide and, even if it was a single warden at the door now, she would be immediately spotted without much trouble. “Hey! You! What are you doing?” A raspy, angry voice questioned. The murky nature of the place merged with the light coming from the upper window and allowed Mana to see a creature approximately twice her size addressing her. It had small red wings and hard, blue-green skin. Regardless of the type of answer Mana threw at the Dracomon (admittedly, it was likely whatever she said would be insufficient when she had been caught sneaking in), another voice would sound behind her before the creature could issue any response or action. “She’s with me.” A deep, feminine voice noted. The Dracomon raised his head to look at a tall, humanoid vamp digimon standing behind the Meicoomon. Next to her, a Hagurumon floated with a carefree smile, his three gears moving slightly in different directions. “I’m sorry. My crew usually gets too excited and goes into places ahead of me.” The Ladydevimon added with a sultry tone. “Anyways.” She quickly bridged out of that matter, walking to leave the Meicoomon behind her, while the Hagurumon made sure to stay behind and block the exit for the cat. “We’re here for our meeting with... Unaba, was it? We have some very important things to discuss.” She examined her long, red claws as she spoke to the Dracomon warden. “R-Right.” The Dracomon nodded, seemingly a little intimidated by the demon's imposing nature. “Over here.” He led the way for the trio to go through the porch and into the house. Once inside, the place looked way bigger than from the outside, which was expected, as it needed to be quite sizeable to fit dinosaurs in it. The decoration was quite simple. Other than a wooden platform, there was a set of stairs that seemed to take to the second floor, which had a small balcony from where the entirety of the first floor, now occupied by the Ladydevimon, the Hagurumon, and Mana, could be seen. After taking them there, the Dracomon loped towards a wooden door behind the platform. “I-I’ll get Lord Isimbi in a second!”“No mics?” The LadyDevimon asked leisurely, looking elsewhere. The Hagurumon spun once over his own axis. “Hehe…”“Great.” She noted, right before glancing at the Meicoomon. “You’re not from here, are you? What were you trying to accomplish?” “It’s finally safe to talk, right?” Kenna would note when being reached by Nami to play the audio again. It certainly seemed like there was no one as close to Nami as the Troopmon previously was to listen to her talk, so that was a good thing. “What happened? There was... someone in the ship with you, right? Who were they?” Kenna asked. “Okay. I’ll play the audio for you.” But first, the scientist decided to put Nami up to date. “Thanks to that audio, we manage to find out why Ultimate Brachimon was around the factory in the first place. It was not trying to get something inside the factory, but trying to protect what’s inside of it. Inside the factory is Nob, he’s basically the only scientist in the whole Idayi island besides me and Bon, he created Ultimate Brachimon, so Ultimate Brachimon is trying to protect him from Unaba. Since Unaba thinks Bon and I are dead, they’re trying to get Nob to work for them, something about making him calibrate a portal… I’m not sure what for, exactly.” The purple-haired girl made a pause to gather her thoughts. “The Ultimate Brachimon group is inside the factory, they’re dealing with both some pirates that also want something with Nob and Ultimate Brachimon, who’s trying to get them out. As you can guess, things will only get more complicated when Ulak and Aleh arrive. Please follow them to the factory and try to help the Ultimate Brachimon group however you can. In priority’s order, the mission is to get the scientist away from Ulak and Aleh, and stop them from finding a way to use Ultimate Brachimon in their favor.”Before playing the audio, Kenna added something else and waved her goodbyes. “I know… you kind of went from one group to the other in the middle of this whole thing. But I trust you can help us, Nami. Good luck.”With that, she let the audio play, and Nami was free to keep following the trail the noisy Ulak and Aleh were leaving. As they progressed, the steps of brother and sister being chased got louder for Nami. Almost as if they had gone significantly heavier. Despite this, they were moving quite fast, so the Meicooon would need to make an additional effort to keep the pace. Eventually, she would hear the duo had stopped running, and not a lot after that, she would find a clear with an abandoned, rusty building right in the middle. More striking than the building itself would be the massive creature standing next to it. What, at first sight, looked like four metallic cylinders that were much much taller than the building itself, would come to be a set of legs, as the Meicoomon looked raised her head. The metallic creature next to the building was so utterly massive that, from where she was standing (quite close to it) its torso and neck got lost in the clouds. From its physical language and behavior, Nami could probably tell the monster had its focus on the factory, showing aggressiveness towards something inside. Some type of pink force field was surrounding the structure and, from there, she could see a Dark Tyrannomon and a Tyranomon, trying to break it apart. The red dinosaur kept attempting to pierce it with its claws, until he finally managed to open a small breach on it, making way for the dark one to go through. "Go, quick!" He demanded. "But what about you, Ulak?" The Dark Tyranomon asked as she entered. "He's distracted on whatever is inside. Get the scientist. MOVE!"
The black dinosaur quickly climbed to the roof of the factory and crept to the back of it, breaking apart the roof with her own claws to get in. Ultimate Brachimon XI. The situation was tense and heavy inside the very last room of the factory, where Nob, Amelie, Korka, Kenny, Hisato, Gyo, Caine, Bruga, and Skadi’s clone had the negotiation that would determine the fate of Idayi. Kenna had provided a very important input but, at this point, the turn this could take was entirely in the Ultimate Brachimon group’s hands. Hisato and Kenny took turns to speak to both Amelie and Nob respectfully. The emotional charge this mission had taken on them since they had arrived just some hours ago could be felt in each of their words, and these had different effects on each of the digimon they were talking to. It looked like this had turned personal for everyone involved, whether they wanted that or not. Amelie’s eyes widened when perceiving the gist of wrath that Hisato’s words had, and just remained quiet until he finished. It seemed that, for the very first time, even if for some seconds, the Treasure Hunter was out of words. While he and his tamer spoke, Gyo would, for the first time since they entered the factory, start feeling the call of something deep within. There was something, some type of mythical energy engulfing the environment and calling him. Something wanted him to find it. This would be felt in equal measure by Scarab, who kept fighting the Commandramon by the entrance along Qhawe and Skadi. Caine, on his side, would have this feeling with severally increased intensity. Those items which existence he had perceived earlier were beating, pulsing with energy. What was awaiting and expectancy before, had turned into flat-out shouting and demanding for those who were bound to find them to get them already. These items were ready to give their owners power and demanded to be found as soon as possible. Something was calling Gyo and Scarab in this factory. Understandably, it would be hard to focus on finding these while the negotiation continued. Bruga nodded at Gyo, answering his question. “Of course.” That wasn’t hard. Although Qhawe didn’t really trust them, Bruga was, after all, in their list of allies. They have somewhat gained the Kotemon's trust, probably fueled by her undying love for Kenna and Bon. Would that be enough to stop all of these enemies if hell broke loose? Once they finished their respective parts of the speech, the demeanor of one of the digimon in the room had changed drastically, but… regarding the other… Nob, on one side, had an evidently dubious expression. He looked away when hearing about the upcoming dangers and Kenna’s love for everyone on the island. When Kenny talked about this discussion leading to Ultimate Brachimon falling on Unaba’s hand to doom them all… he seemed to have completely changed his scope on the situation. “W-Well… I could deactivate him.” He admitted. “But we need to find a way of hiding it. If he’s just turned off, that would just make everything easier to Unaba.” “No way!” Amelie hopped in front of the Agumon. “We’re not turning off Big Dino! He’s a good boy and he’s quite strong.” She insisted. “Also! I would like to point out I have no idea about Kenna’s compromise for this place! I just got here some days ago!” The clam added leisurely. “But if I were these dinos I would not trust someone who just allowed the island to fall on these Unaba guys’ hands!”Korka folded his arms and glanced at Hisato. “ I think you’re a bit confused on what a Treasure Hunter is.” He noted. “They don’t need to have honor, pride, be good or bad. They got that title by being among the most powerful warriors in the sea; that's all there is to it. How they got there and their ways of achieving said power are entirely on them. And Amelie, in particular, is one of the most tricky and stubborn Treasure Hunters you can find around. We have a temporal alliance, and I’m supposed to work with her whatever she decides. It’s a shame, but I don’t think there’s any way of making her change her mind.” “There is NOT.” Amelie cemented that. “Dad always said: ‘Don’t try to fix what’s not broken'. Our plan is not broken so why would I cooperate with a group of losers when they have only proved to be a nuisance. I don’t need you to stop Unaba, I already have the scientist. You have nothing to offer, there is no benefit I can get from working with you so why would I add an unnecessary variable to our plan? I got this!”“AGH! WHY ARE YOU SO STUBBORN? You have no idea of how strong Aleh and Ulak are!” After having contained it for too long, Bruga just exploded. “Shuddup!” A stream of highly pressurized water materialized out of thin air in front of Amelie and rocketed towards Bruga. It made contact at high speed and sent her flying towards a wall. “W-Watch out!” A shout escaped Nob as he saw the Kotemon being hit. He immediately turned towards the Shakkomon. “What the hell are you doing, Amelie!?” He chided. “She owed me that one, okay? She hit me first earlier!” “You can’t h-!” “Sshhh! You guys hear that?” Korka asked, looking at the roof. The sound of something scratching over a metallic surface would reach everyone in the room. The scarce light the cloudy weather outside provided would allow them all to see the shadow of a gigantic dinosaur through the old, metallic skylight that covered the whole roof. It seemed to be climbing to the roof quickly. “Hey, Ulak! I hear voices in here!” A playful, girly voice, coming from the outside echoed inside. “They are here…” Korka’s eyes widened. He turned towards Nob immediately. “Why isn’t Ultimate Brachimon stopping them?” “They broke the field of force. Ultimate Brachimon is probably focused on getting these guys out first.” The Agumon explained, looking at the roof and glancing at the Ultimate Brachimon group for a second. Suddenly, the deafening, loud noise of something hitting the metal would arise. They could see the shadow of this dinosaur tearing the metal above them apart with its own claws. “Can’t you reprogram it? Make it focus on Unaba first.” “Y-Yes! I think I can.” The Agumon zoomed towards one of the old computers in the laboratory. They all could hear the last layer of metal being torn apart by a huge, white claw. Now, from above, the gigantic head of a dark, ferocious dinosaur, looked down on them. “I found you!” The creature chimed in a psychopathic tone of voice. “Huh?” She blinked twice almost innocently. “What the…? Who the hell are all of you?” A stream of water would start circling around Amelie’s body, evaporating to make way to a completely new form for the former clam. “Hehe! It’s showtime!”
Mysterious Ship XI. It momentarily seemed like Sasha had moved away from one plane to another again. Although she could hear the mess happening outside from this strange dimension she had been taken to, it seemed that she and her interlocutor were in a completely different place. A mischievous smirk was drawn on the digimon’s face. As her figure fully materialized in front of our bee, it became more evident (if it wasn’t already) that she was a LadyDevimon. “Too stubborn to die, huh?” She mused. “Well, Bruyne is known for being quite stubborn too, so I don’t think he’ll stop chasing until he gets you. Furthermore, Kuda, the actual owner of that power you stole, must be on her way too. And she must be quite pissed.”After this somewhat useful piece of exposition, the pirate went to answer Sasha’s queries. The first one, however, seemed to have taken her by surprise. “So you haven’t realized yet, have you?” The demon issued a short laugh. “Well, I guess I could tell you as a little reward…” She decided. “That power is not about being small.” The vamp snapped her fingers and suddenly… Sasha could feel her legs touching the floor again. The LadyDevimon was still way bigger than the blonde warrior, but the size difference had reduced significantly. Although she still had her wings and the rest of her bee features, Sasha was back at her normal size! “Your default size is actually based on how much you can control that power.” Another snap of her fingers had Sasha seeing the demon face to face. She was suddenly at least 220 cm tall! “You’re a bee, and data is your pollen. In all honesty, not even I know the extent of the mysterious powers my own crew has. Some say it’s limitless. But, in Kuda’s… well, in your case, you can modify your digital structure at will to change sizes. That's basically the gist of it.” “Let’s see…” The LadyDevimon examined her own claws as she spoke. “… I would say you should be able to do that having unlocked around… 3% of that power. You have clearly not unlocked even 1% of it, but at least the darkness has not driven you mad yet. I don’t think you will do it before you get killed by my crew chasing you but… if you do, that would be quite interesting. Of course, by getting our powers you’re also one of us, which includes default abilities like being able to communicate with me through your mind or simply traveling through the darkness. I will know where you are at any moment, and wherever there’s darkness close by, you can travel from one dark place to the other, as if it was a portal.” She finished that sentence in a seductive tone, right before passing to the next question. Regarding that second query, the vamp seemed quite surprised as well. “You’re losing time with that question. With the info you have probably stolen by now you have the answers yourself. But if you wish to know right away… no. I have no idea what is going on in this place, but it does seem like quite a mess.” She admitted with a musing and motherly tone. “You guys had some type of coup going on, with these dinos taking control of the island, right? I’m just here for the treasure on your island so I really don’t care a lot about it. I have set up a meeting with some of their higher-ups, I want them to point me in the treasure’s direction and help me decipher some things, and hopefully, I won’t have to kill them. Let’s see what they can offer.” The lady snapped her fingers again and Sasha returned to her small bee form. Slowly, the darkness in her surroundings started vanishing and her vision started turning blurry. “Sasha! Sasha!” Kenna’s voice was starting to get to her. “Actually, that meeting is about to take place.” The Ladydevimon noted. “Good luck ~ Talk to you later. Assuming you don’t die, of course.”From one moment to the other, Sasha was back at the cabin, flying in front of the coffin. “Sasha!” Her inventory, issuing Kenna’s voice, floated next to her. “A-Are you okay? Did you see her again?” The scientist asked. “Listen, I’m worried about Bon. I told him to retreat but now I can’t hear anything at the other side of the door. I don’t know what’s going on!” The purple-haired girl sounded desperate. “Do you think he…?” Kenna managed to interrupt herself and tried to recompose. “We need to get out of here. Bon bought us some time but that smoke keeps spreading. I searched long and hard but didn’t find any hole or gap that you could fit through. The smoke is coming from the gap in the door so going there is suicidal. I’m trying to look through the info I just found on the table but this ship is so weird! There are practically no windows or secret passages! Everything is just... filled with darkness! How do these guys move through the ship?” The scientist made a pause while she kept hitting keys and looking for info. “Any ideas?”
It's 10:00 am! It's drizzling over Idayi Island.
Caine's Seer gave him some information!
-Caine knows the Unaba warriors have arrived.
-Caine can feel the desperate shout of two items within the factory, calling for Gyo and Scarab.
-Caine can feel a third presence going to the factory. Unlike the Unaba warriors, it's walking quite leisurely towards the abandoned building. From its sole existence, Caine can somewhat tell this digimon is incredibly powerful.
Achievements: -Split and conquer! (You split to take both different approaches in Ozith) -... And in the light will guide them. (You found the Mysterious Medallion in Binagi Shore) -Shattered memories. (You found the graves of Unaba heroes) -Thank you. (Bruga can sleep at nights again) -Mental health is important. (ClearAgumon liked you enough to tell you about his little problem) -Slimy victory. (You solved the puzzle and found the secret entrance to Ozith Village on the first try). -My sister would be proud! (You found one of the strangest guests Idayi has had) -Bee life! (You... turned into a bee. Huh) -I'm going to protect your promise! (You calmed Bon when he needed it, so he came to the rescue)

Kenna had to be contacted to replay recordings? That didn’t seem like a very efficient design, but it wasn’t like Nami was in the position to complain at the moment. “Affirmation. MailBirdramon has successfully landed and I’m following the track of the ones who had that conversation.” Kenna herself seemed to feel in an inquisitive mood, and while the Meicoomon couldn’t blame her, she’d rather listen to the conversation first before passing down any opinions. Anyway, “Annoyance. There was another stowaway; a nosy Troopmon. She left a little bit ago.”
For once, Kenna’s words had some usefulness to them. It seemed like the Ultimate Brachimon was there to protect what was believed to be the last scientist of this island, and that the so-called Aleh and Ulak planned to harness its power for themselves. Couldn’t be very good news for anyone there, or anyone wanting a peaceful resolution for this conflict in general. “Acknowledgment. I’ll do my best to guarantee the safety of every allied party. Nami out.”
In a sense, the Meicoomon wished her sister was present at the moment. The two meshed well mid-battle, and chances were that any prospective conflict would’ve been trivialized by her presence. However, right now, she was more or less forced to cooperate with possibly incompetent fighters or to fight on her own. Not an ideal situation, but it’ll have to do; as the Meicoomon advanced, her feline frame began to be enveloped by twin swirls of bright purple, and was immediately replaced by one of her most exalted forms. She wasn’t sure if this would be overkill, but she felt like how this particular intersection went would determine a good deal of how the rest of their task would develop, and she wasn’t taking any risks regarding that. While her power remained constant, having the maximum possible amount of tools at her disposal was probably the wisest choice to make. Not to say that flying made things a lot easier when it came to follow the tracks of the two dinosaurs who seemed to have evolved as well.
Eventually, she caught up with the now-evolved Tyranomons trying to sneak into what she presumed was where Nob, the humans and their digimons were. They would be able to handle a single DarkTyranomon, right? Even if they weren’t, that just meant the group was doomed from the start and any further decisions Nami made would probably be pointless. With that into account, an ethereal hand reached out to the Tyranomon, at an attempt to pat him on the head.
“Salutations. You must be the one called ‘Ulak’.” The Venusmon said, on an almost irritating monotone. “Proposal. Why don’t you let me accompany you while you wait? This place seems fairly lonely.” What about Mana, then? Her situation was, much to her chagrin, a lot less violent than her sister’s. In hindsight, it’d have been way better had things been the other way around. Nevertheless, the Meicoomon had to make do with what she had, and that meant resorting to absolutely great sound effects to get where she wanted, and even though those proved to be a distraction for most digimons outside the building, being caught red-handed while inside had been a fairly obvious outcome if the guards inside had decided to hold their positions. Luckily for her, she wouldn’t need to tangle herself in petty excuses given the fact that an unlikely savior presented herself. Talk about a chain of convenient events!
It puzzled Mana to no end that she’d get a mysterious benefactor that probably had nothing to gain in a situation like this, but she would take such a boon in stride, considering her situation would prove to be fairly precarious otherwise. At least for the time being, the Meicoomon limited herself to smile craftily at the Dracomon and nod at the LadyDevimon’s words. Obviously enough, she followed the fallen angel’s trail; even the tidbits of info she was given pretty much meant she had… gotten weirdly lucky, more or less. Of course, she was better than to judge a book for its cover, but it wasn’t like Mana had a breadth of options or anything of the sort at the moment.
As the Dracomon left the trio to her own devices, the obvious question was quick to be asked, and honestly, who wouldn’t have asked that? Anyone in Mana’s situation would’ve been pretty conspicuous no matter how you looked at it. The cat looked up before answering. “That’s a question with a pretty long answer! I don’t think we have enough time for that, but I can explain once we’re out of this place. Least to say, I’m here to help and I know how to repay a favor!”
Hopefully that'll suffice for the time being. She’d likely need to at least give the LadyDevimon some intel down the line, but at least Mana would have a better idea of where to stand once this little reunion was over. As far as she knew, everyone’s intent was pretty darn well hidden at the moment. Nami used Healing Therapy on Ulak.
—Healing Therapy: The legend goes that Venusmon has the softest hands in the whole Digital World, and that a caress coming from her is able to instantly calm the spirit of event the most weary digimons. Nobody knows how much of this is true or not, but the fact remains that Nami can either do the deed personally and pat the head of somebody, or project her limbs to do so from a distance. And, while Venusmon’s touch feels extremely good, the truth remains that this attack both deals a fair amount of damage and lures the target into a false sense of security, increasing the damage dealt by the next attack to hit them by 50%. Cooldown: One post.

Finally things were looking in favor of Daichi and the twins as explaining the whole thing seemed to have made Ina trust them more, being honest her admiration for Kenna was cute in a way it definitely painted a different image of the fanged beast that was attacking the teen just seconds ago. Unfortunately the same couldn't be said for the Coronamon who sprung claws out towards the unsuspected monkey, Han got a few scratches before he tried to fight back holding the hands of Lyre and struggling to go over her but the mushy thing stood on the middle and split them before anything bad could happen.
"OK first I have no idea what's going on with the other groups communications are off, remember?" The monkey said standing up and dusting himself "Secondly you have no proof it was Sasha and I'm not going to stand for slandering of my sensei's friends!" Han raise his arms ready to fight, sure it was suspicious that something goes missing when Sasha is supposedly there but without a proof she was innocent in the eyes of the monkey
Things got worse when Lyre said that she was going to kill them right there, at that moment both twins jump in front of Daichi with their weapons in hand waiting for the Coronamon to make the mistake of attacking, it didn't matter how strong Lyre was thanks to Kenna's digital stabilizer they would be on equal grounds and they had the numbers advantage so the duo didn't felt that threatned by the Coronamon.
Fortunately Ina stood up by them and descale the situation putting everyone back on track, still the twins never stop glaring at Lyre much to Daichi's distress as now it seems that for standing up for them Ina and Lyre's relationship is going south which could be problematic for them if that affects the mission, it seems that no matter what he does someone is out for his head and there's no way to please everyone being the hero it's hard and sucks.
With all that out of the way the group proceed to a set of ascending ladders as Ina put them up to date with the information she had, it was nice to hear that for the most of it they should have an easy way moving due to the lack of guards but a cold feeling crawl up Daichi's back when the Monodramon said it was Lyre's captain who had the meeting with Unaba's higher ups, this could mean a lot of things as they don't know yet if they are allies or enemies and due to how things went just minutes ago all kinds of red flags were rising for the teen.
"So we take the meeting as a distraction and move to the prison to rescue the tribes or are we suppose to spy on said meeting as well?" Their main objective would be to rescue the digimon but spying on the meeting would give them clues as to what Unaba is trying to do on the island and also maybe confirm whether the Dusk Pirates are allies or foes

Post by Hisato and Bad Company on Sept 24, 2021 17:27:35 GMT
Perhaps Hisato didn't know what a Treasure Hunter was, but he did at least have an idea on what made a warrior what they were. "And what makes a powerful warrior, then? Any one of those. As for you. You obviously lack a lot of knowledge about how the locals work--any one of them can be a wrench that breaks the plan." Hisato was concise, yet clear as crystal with his words. As violence briefly broke out between Amelie and a rightfully salty Bruga, Caine and Gyo seemed to lower themselves into a fighting stance, when...suddenly, they seemed to hold back. Something called for them. "...I don't need to answer any of that. Simply know that we fight for the future of Idayi." Gyo snarled towards the monster. "Go do that. We'll keep this dino here." Caine stated towards Nob, before he would crack his knuckles, black flames seeming to start engulfing the Impmon. He looked...troubled. "...Gyo. Go. Destiny calls for the Heritors of Cloudsong. It yells for you, like a siren's call, yet it won't answer for anyone else." "Are you doing that thing where you start speaking in ri--" The Imp stared daggers. No. He was not mincing words here. Period. Yet...there was something else amiss. Something else that was prompting him to prepare to take on a far more...dire form than Baalmon. "Why, oh...Why are they walking so...calmly...?" A murmur. He then spoke up. "We need to be quick, another is coming here. I know not their intent, but...Hm." Caine said, as Gyo would take off, flying further into the factory. The red dragon would utilize his inventory to ring Scarab up--speaking of...
The battle with the drones was proceeding as it did, yet Scarab was notably starting to falter, the siren call of whatever was screaming to be found actively affecting his focus. "Gaaah...I hate to do this, but I need to move--something further in's...-calling.- And if it's not found, then I worry I might end up just dragging you guys down. That's not what I'm about, so. I make a simple two requests. One, fight to the bitter end, and two, protect the others!" The Stingmon -hoped- this would suffice, because he had to quickly break away and fly forth into the factory, trying to figure out where precisely this call was even...-at.-
"...Bruga. Strike with me--use the blade of wind. We act as one. If there is anything that Amelie's right about, it's that it's showtime." Caine finally acted, clenching his fist shut as the flames finally overtook him, his form growing larger, taller, more looming than anything. As the shrouded form took a few steps forward, it became clear what exactly he had done, as the flames suddenly dissipated and revealed what lay beneath. Caine had warp digivolved. He was capable of doing this already--anyone who had looked into the Hachiko Square incident would likely know that, but the form in question here was far different. "I am Caine, Son of Malkav. You face not a Lord of Gluttony, but a spawn of dementia and madness. Now, do me a favor." Sure, Gyo said he didn't need to answer the question of 'who the hell are you guys?' But Caine was not Gyo. Caine was his own mon. The Beelzemon would suddenly throw a punch, a projectile not unlike a Leomon's Fist of the Beast King soaring for the DarkTyrannomon, yet...it held a grisly visage. And should it make contact with the DarkTyrannomon? She would find herself unable to speak--unable to use any named attacks. "Be quiet. The adults are speaking, child." Meanwhile, Hisato...couldn't help but feel like the humans were a bit useless here. "...We should probably keep Qwahe and the real Skadi updated..."
Relevant Passives: Caine: Seer [Passive]: Caine...is a strange one. He's connected to a network of riddles and madness that ultimately give him knowledge he should not know. Think of this passive as a ability-based version of the Arcana Draw card. He's able to tap into this network in order to divine an answer or a hint as to a question within a mission or plot, but it's ultimately up to the DM/runner of the thread as to how clear or unclear this is. Once per thread.
The Emperor [Passive]: Caine's bullets in this form seek out that which he deems wicked, homing in upon them by his will for a 30% increase in overall accuracy.
Gluttony [Passive]: Of course, all of his attacks leech life from their quarry, and heal Caine for 5% of his overall health. Scarab and Gyo aren't here--they're searching for something...
Caine warp digivolves to Beelzemon, and attacks the DarkTyrannomon who's name Bass is pretty sure he knows OOC but doesn't IC with Fist of the Demon King. He also requests Bruga try attacking with him. Fist of The Demon King: A twisted form of the Juouken utilized by the Leomon line, the would-be Demon Lord clenches his fist shut as abyssal energies flow through it, before he punches the air, sending a projectile shaped in a grisly visage out for a single foe of his choice. Should it strike a foe, they will find themselves silenced for a turn. Three post cooldown. Cooldowns: FoTDK: 0/3

Post by Kenny O'Hara and Skadi on Sept 25, 2021 4:58:08 GMT
Oh good Lord almighty was Kenny just practically praying that his words had sunk into Nob's skull. And like Skadi before him, he couldn't tell a lie, nor mince the truth. And from the looks of things, his words had hit the Nise Agumon Hakase like a ton of bricks. But frankly, Nob also made a good point; how could one easily hide the massive cyborg titan from Unaba's prying eyes, exactly?
Well, obviously not with Amiele's help, that was for certain. That overgrown clam really could not take 'no' for an answer. And frankly, he couldn't blame Bruga - or Nob - for being on their wits end. He was quick to flinch the moment Bruga slammed hard into the wall, as the SilverGrademon all drew their own pair of rapiers out, glaring daggers at Amiele, daring her to make the next move.
That wouldn't come. The next few moments almost felt like a blur.
First? As flames coated Impmon X's entire body, egging Gyo on to 'go', Kenny could only look on in confusion. 'Yells for you'? 'The Heritors of Cloudsong'? "Wait! Gyo! Caine! What's going on-!?" He cried out. Why was Caine just suddenly encouraging Gyo to leave the group just now? What the hell was 'the Heritors of Cloudsong'? And what was that scraping noise going on from the roof? "Oh God..."
The clones stood at the ready, their swords drawn.
And on Skadi's end? Her focus was just as strong as ever, but only due to the fact she wasn't being affected by the same energy calling for Scarab, much less know of it's existence in the first place. And needless to say, she'd be equally lost at Scarab's own words.
"Scarab! Wait!" She called out in vain, holding out her hand, trying to reach out to her friend, but it was already too late. He had flown off deep into the factory itself. 'Something calling'? How could he feel it and she couldn't? For that matter, how come Qhawe couldn't feel it either? Still, she swore to fight on, if not for others, but for Scarab's sake.
As she quickly lunged in for a strike against one of the bots, she felt her inventory ring. In one swift motion, she'd sheath one of the rapiers and grab it, holding it up close to her ear...
His stomach dropped at the sight of the looming DarkTyrannomon now gazing down at them. Was this the attacker Kenna warned about earlier? And was Amiele evolving as well? Kenny could feel the hot flames brush close over him as Caine evolved, forcing the young man to cover his face with his arms and step back as the tiny Imp assumed his Beezlemon form right in front of them and went in with the first strike.
The clones would follow suit, following up with a massive leap followed by an overhead strike slash with the swords, aiming to cleave the DarkTyrannomon's head. Regardless of the results, the three would then 'explode' into a blast of white smoke; harmless, but stinging to the eyes. The DarkTyrannomon now would probably find her vision disappear into a field of endless white, blinded to the rest of the group.
What he himself could do here? After all, he was only human. He could swipe a card to help give Caine a little bit more oomph...
Or he could listen to Hisato's suggestion to call Skadi and Qhawe, "Good idea. I'll call them quickly." One shake later, and he'd get Skadi onto the line, "Listen, Skadi. Qhawe. We just got to Nob and we've managed to convince him to help us. Unfortunately, the attackers have also gotten to the factory as well. Right now, Nob's reprogramming the UltimateBrachimon so it attacks them instead of us. If you can, try and get back here as soon as possible. We may have a long fight on our hands..."
It wouldn't be so easy to just leave Qhawe hanging by himself. Instead, she'd merely turn her head to the Fladramon and ask him, "Should we get over there now?" Of course, the robots hadn't turned their attention to the 'attacker' yet, and leaving now was just asking to let their guard down. What could they do, exactly?
Yes, she could indeed feel the energy of the clones coming back into her body. At least she potentially brought them time before her arrival.
The clones follow up on Caine's Fist of the Demon King by going for a basic overhead slash before exploding into white smoke, aiming to blind Alek and stall her for as long as possible. Meanwhile, Skadi waits on Qhawe's command while waiting for the bots to switch sides.
Shadowclone (3/3 active clones): 3/3. Cooldown is now 0/3.

Crap, so she would have to deal with another pirate soon if she didn't hurry up? Not exactly the most uplifting of news, but if nothing else the Ladydevimon was still giving her some useful info. The russian considered giving her some more lip about not being too worried about fighting whoever she stole this power from, but decided against it, partially to not push her luck against such an overwhelming force, partially so she'd get to the answers quicker. so she bit her lip and listened intently.
And much to her surprise and concern, she'd soon find looking down at herself yet again, the sudden change in her stature being rather hard to ignore this time around. Though far from relieving her, this only alarmed her more. Yes, knowing she was not going to be stuck as a miniature russian forever was nice and all...but if this devil woman could exert this much control over her body without even being on the same room, who knew what else she was capable off? Suddenly, Sasha didn't feel as eager to face her head on as a moment ago. Not to mention she still had to learn how to make this power work for her but she could worry about it later.
What was that about being able to travel through the darkness? She would have loved to have the Captain elaborate further but there simply wasn't enough time for all her questions as it soon became clear.
Her next answer confirmed her suspicions: they were not behind this entire mess, just a third party looking to capitalize on it to get what they wanted with more ease. Somewhat...annoying that she wasted her time with a diversion like this when she could have gone and helped on the actual islands but...at least now they knew for sure. Who knows, maybe some of the information Kenna scanned could still prove useful. At any rate the time for questions had come to an abrupt end as she was rudely sent back to her smaller bee form, much to her chagrin.
"You bitch, couldn't even let me have that much?" She huffed in anger, but by then the digimon was all but gone, and her surroundings would soon shift back to the familiar inside of the cabin on the ship, Kenna once again screaming to try and get her attention.
"I-I did. I didn't get much but-" She stopped herself once Kenna mentioned Bon. Or rather his sudden absence. Hopefully he had listened to her and made a tactical retreat, otherwise...no, Sasha really rather not even entertain that possibility. Besides she had enough troubles as is: the smoke was back and there didn't seem to be any real way out of the room besides that door, which as Kenna pointed out was suicidal to use, but then again what other option she had?
...that's when the Ladydevimon's words really rang in her head.
"...and wherever there’s darkness close by, you can travel from one dark place to the other, as if it was a portal."
It was a long shot but she knew it was worth a try. She took a hold of the inventory and held it close to herself.
"I have an idea. It's not perfect but it's worth a shot." She whispered into the small orb, eyes closed as she tried to focus her mind into remembering the very first room she had gone into of the ship. "She said...something about me being able to use this power to move through the shadows of the ship, like a portal. I can't guarantee it'll work but I have to try." She explained calmly, trying to preemptively explain the stupid stunt she was about to pull.
Without waiting for so much as a reply, flied straight ahead, aiming for the wall on the opposite side of the room. Her idea came crashing down along side her as soon as she smacked her head straight into the wooden wall, sending herself back a bit while clutching her head from the pain.
"Fuck...come on, just this once..." She muttered under her breath, focusing her mind into picturing that room again, every little detail, nook and cranny she could muster to remember, before she charged straight into the wall again. Again, to no avail, and with nothing to show for it other than a splitting headache.
Maybe the captain was wrong. Maybe the darkness had driven her mad.
Maybe its because of this she was willing to try again, but this time she pictured more than just the room. She closed her eyes tightly, thinking of the hallways she had walked, the altar she had found on her way, the very directions she had taken to not lose her way in the darkness.
Right, left, left, right. Right, left, left, right. Right, left, left, right.
She kept chanting those directions in her head ad nauseum, to the point she eventually started whispering them out loud without realizing it. With all the anger, fear and conviction she was burdened by, Sasha charged into the wall one last time. If this didn't work she'd try to think of something else that didn't require her to bash her head into a wall, but on the off chance, insane possibility it worked...well she'd be sure to make it count.

Counter Proposal. Ozith Village XII. “That is… a good question.” Why was the Monodramon particularly doubtful about what their course of action should be once they reached the headquarters? With tensions between the Ina-Lire-Daichi alliance having reached its peak, the group finally got to the end of the exhaustingly long stairs. Lire took the lead and positioned herself in front of the door, peeking to make sure no one was watching. Then, she opened it for the group to go through. The group of five would find themselves on the second floor of a building. It was simple in structure: a square-shaped floor with a big square hole in the middle, a balcony/railing separating the area you could walk on from the gap. This floor only had two doors: the one they had just come from, and another one to the other side of the floor. Other than that, a simple set of stairs located in one of the corners that seemed to lead down to the first floor. The place was surprisingly… quite empty; as simple as it could get in terms of design and structure. If the group followed Lire’s lead and peeped over the railing, they would see the first floor of the building, an also-square-shaped chamber where three digimons awaited. A LadyDevimon, a Hagurumon and… a Meicoomon. If the memory of any of the members from the shinobi trio worked relatively well, they could tell this Meicoomon was Mana. From up there, they could actually hear what the trio was discussing, thanks to the echo in the building, even if the distance between one floor and the other allowed them to stay out of sight for anyone below who wasn’t making a determined effort of finding someone peeping from the second floor. “Huh?” The LadyDevimon tilted her head to let it rest over one of her hands, looking fairly curious. “To help whom, I wonder.” She mused with a smirk. “Hehe…” The Hagurumon kept spinning its gears slowly. The steps of what seemed like a quite heavy digimon echoed throughout the floor. Eventually, the Dracomon Mana had seen before went through the door he had used to exit some minutes before and was back on the first floor. Little after, a massive dinosaur entered behind him. Daichi and the rest could still remain out of sight from above The LadyDevimon’s eyes widened, right before they turned sharp as razors again. The dark-purple, half-metallic creature stopped to look at the trio for a second, right before he took some more steps to accommodate in front of them. Due to its height, the MetalGreymon’s metallic horn (the highest part of his body) ended up only a few meters below the railing the infiltration group was peeping from. The monster was at least 5 times the size of Virkka, who was way taller than an average human woman. “The foreign species are certainly… fascinating.” The MetalGreymon had a deep, croaky voice that denoted he was of advanced age. “Well, you seem to have a remarkable amount of visitors here lately, don’t you think?” The vamp used a motherly tone, poking her cheek with one of her red claws. “Your name.” He demanded. His interlocutor let out a long sigh. “Virkka.” She replied. “I guess I could say I’m the captain of the Dusk Pirates or a Treasure Hunter, but I don’t think that means anything to you people here. You’re completely isolated from the rest of the world.” The vamp admitted with a certain irritation. “You must be Isimbi.”“You’re right. I could say I'm the fifth Unaba higher-up, and one of the strongest digimon this clan has ever bred, but titles don't seem to mean a lot to you foreigns either.” The MetalGreymon stated in a serious tone. His pace was calmed and he spoke very slowly. “But Idayi has always been independent. We heed no foreign nor do we care about their matters.”“Mhm…” Virkka nodded sarcastically. “… And yet you’re trying to get help from that Wanyamon archeologist who is clearly not from this island.”The Dracomon standing next to Isimbi gasped, his eyes widening for a second. “Hehe…” “I have to give you credit, though. You are covering multiple fronts at the same time, sending your best warriors to get your own scientist inside the factory now that Ultimate Brachimon started moving.” Virkka noted. With this piece of info, Isimbi’s expression started to change. “How… do you…?” “Did you happen to tell your warriors Ultimate Brachimon turned back and they may get killed?” She asked with a teasing tone. “Or are you deliberately hiding info from your own people just for them to get the job done already? If that’s how you treat your warriors, I don’t want to think how you treat visitors…”In just a second, the tension in the room increased significantly. It was clear Isimbi was not prepared for the LadyDevimon to have this data. “Don’t you try your luck with us, stranger.” Isimbi’s voice got threatening, deeper, and eviler. The Ladydevimon started floating some centimeters above the ground, crossing her legs. “Oh, please. I came here to negotiate.” She noted with a sultry tone. “I just want you to know who you’re dealing with, and the info I have. Do I plan to use it against you all? Well, that will depend on what you can offer.” Isimbi broke the silence that followed with a simple question. “What do you want?”The rising tension the conversation had generated and the possible results it posited would make any listener get distracted by it. It was likely Mana found her job right now boring, but the nature and the importance of it were clear: She had a privileged spot in the most important reunion taking place on the island right now. She was part of a game of chess being played through words, a possible alliance in the making. She had to gather all of the information she could and intervene when she felt the time was right to change the course of this negotiation in their favor, in case that was possible. Daichi, still peeping from the railing above, would notice Lire had started moving away from it, making her way to the door located at the other side of the second floor and going through it. Ina looked doubtful. Her eyes showed hesitation as she looked at the meeting happening below and the door Lire had gone through. She wanted to be at two places at the same time, but couldn’t. What to do? Having reached the factory at last, and having deployed one of her stronger forms, Nami got to work. The Venusmon would find no resistance from the Ultimate Brachimon when peeping from the bushes to pat the Tyranomon. After all, the gigantic monster remained focused on the factory and getting whatever was in there out. As soon as the goddess touched the dinosaur guarding the entrance of the field force, she would see information deployed right in front of her, kind of like a hologram only she could see. This had information about the digimon she was now ‘fighting’, which probably would come useful for this endeavor. [1]
Nami’s magical touch seemed to have an immediate effect. It was easy to see Ulak’s body had relaxed immediately after being touched. Slowly, he let go of the semi-tangible field force he kept breaching open for his sister, making the barrier close. Then, he took a sit on the ground. “…Sure.” Although his tone of voice remained serious, it did sound a lot less aggressive or wary than earlier. His tail wailing slowly, Nami could even see the gist of a smile on the Tyrannomon’s mouth. The creature had temporarily lost his will to fight and, for now, he just remained sitting there. Nothing else seemed to have happened to him, though. What now? Ultimate Brachimon XII. Although negotiations had been partially fruitful, a battle had started in the last room of the abandoned factory. Not any kind of quarry, but an extremely convoluted one, with multiple things happening at the same time in the same space, and with multiple foes and allies throwing blows at each other. This was a free for all, where every group involved had different interests. “Hisato, Kenny.” After remaining quiet for most of the last exchange, Kenna addressed her heroes once again through their inventory. “I’m sending Aleh’s combat info. Remember she can have techniques I don’t know of, being from Unaba. Even without any surprise… she’s extremely powerful. I don’t think we can beat her.” Once they checked their inventories and saw the known techniques of the DarkTyrannomon, it was likely the group would agree with her. This creature’s kit was absolutely unstoppable. [2] “Get out of my factory!”
Amelie didn’t know that much, though. Water started circling around her, some sort of light-blue aura engulfing her. Shiny glyphs of energy worked as runes and were summoned in front of the Mermaimon. The simple charge-up of this technique would make the floor in the room tremble, and the temperature go down. “What is she doing?” Kenna asked terrified. “Guys… I know absolutely nothing about this digimon. Sasha got me some information on the Dusk Pirates crew that I’m still decrypting, but the name Amelie is nowhere to be seen. I’m sorry, I have no idea of her skills or what she can do.” The scientist immediately moved on to something she could provide input of. “I did find the name of Korka. He’s an alchemist and a specialist in boosting up his partners or debuffing opponents. I’ll see what else I can get.”“Son of Malkav, huh?” Aleh asked, amused by the concept and still holding that psychopathic tone of voice. Of course, Caine gave her no room to do much else, as his Fist of The Demon King hit dead-on the DarkTyranommon. Whether it was in the skills’ intention or not, this did not seem to cause any type of damage to the member of Unaba. “Hopefully you’ll be fun to deal with, then.” She noted right before recoiling with her head, as green energy started glowing in her mouth. She moved aggressively to try and launch something at the demon, but… … Nothing came out. “Huh?” Aleh blinked curiously, confused at her sudden inability to launch a named technique. “So he neutralized her first. Very interesting.” Korka noted, unfolding his arms and summoning a dark trident from the shadows. It was true that Caine had called for Bruga right before attacking, but the truth was… the Kotemon was nowhere to be seen anymore. She had completely disappeared. Taking a moment to notice this sudden vanishing or not, they would all feel a gust of wind blow aggressively inside the room. Aleh had completely vanished and, in less than a second, she had materialized right behind Nob. “S-So fast!”
The Agumon turned his head terrified, seeing the monster right behind him, as he was still typing in the old computer. “Come heeeeere…!”
The monster yelled. When Korka was about to dash forward and try to top the dinosaur, Aleh was hit by Skadi’s clones, which vanished into a cloud of blinding smoke. At the same time, the Commadramon robots that pointed at them when they entered the room (which seemed to drive their attention as separate beings from Ultimate Brachimon), marched to protect their creator, jumping on the Dark Tyrannomon. “Eeehh!?”
Blinded by the white smoke, the monster started flailing its tail, some Commandramon’s being jutted away as she moved aggressively. “Here!” Through the commotion, Nob managed to throw an item from his spot. The object, small and indecipherable as it flew through the air, hurled out of the smoke and traveled in Kenny and Hisato’s direction, making a parable for them to make a catch. Like a hungry predator waiting for the right time, Amelie launched towards Aleh, not before Korka did the same. The Boogiemon prepared the field by deploying a magic circle that spun around the dinosaur, leaving a place for the Mermaimon to pierce their target with her anchor-shaped spear, which was now glowing intensively with blue energy. The moment it made contact, the attack would release an expansive wave that would make digimon destabilize and would throw humans to the floor if they didn’t brace themselves. The whole factory trembled upon the sole use of her technique. When the smoke generated by Skadi’s clones vanished, it would allow everyone in the room to see both Amelie and the DarkTyrannomon better. The dinosaur had been pierced by the Mermaimon's attack, but the same psychopathic smile was still on her face. Amelie and Korka’s eyes widened, seeing the monster completely unaltered after the attack. “Uuuuuhh! That was quite impressive.” Aleh chimed mockingly. The temperature in the room just dropped and the tension raised dramatically. What type of monster were they facing? Scarab and Gyo would find it quite easy to move away from their current location towards the factory, even if they were parting from different places. They were trying to go in the direction of whatever that was calling them. In the case of the Stingmon, he would need the cover of both Skadi and Qhawe to succeed. The Fladramon kept shooting firebolts and kicking to get the robots out of the way and let Scarab advance properly. Things were about to get slightly more confusing for the Ex-Veemon and the Stingmon, though. Not long after leaving the entrance hall and starting to move through the hallways, Scarab’s vision would start to turn white. A blinding white light, seemingly coming out of nowhere, would start engulfing him, completely clouding his vision of his surroundings. The string of events would be the same for Gyo, even if he was moving through the hallways at the opposite side of the factory. Soon, they would feel as if they were not occupying the same space as before. Whatever was calling them had got to them.
The first thing the Stingmon and the Ex-Veemon would see was each other. It was as if they were floating above the clouds, in some type of space that clearly wasn’t real but felt a lot like it was. If they looked down below, they could see a massive island. Considering they had the same views earlier when in the ship, they would be able to quickly tell this was Idayi.
There was another being in this mythical chamber above the clouds, sitting some steps away from the pair. The digimon was sitting on the invisible floor sobbing. The shinai to their side and her outfit would show this was Bruga. From her moans and sobs, the pair could tell she sounded way younger, compared to the version they had just met.
“Why…?” She managed between sobs. “Why can’t I… be... stronger?”
To her side, another scene started materializing out of thin air. Whatever had called them was trying to show them something about Bruga.
Back at the factory’s portico, Qhawe would try to listen to Skadi’s inventory to the best of his possibilities. The situation had changed, and the plan to hold the Commandramon’s back while the rest looked for the scientist in relative peace had worked. Now it was admittedly a valid plan to move forward, as long as they could keep these behind. “I… hope…. He gets that done…. Quick!” Qhawe managed, interrupting his own sentence with every blow he had to dodge or give while still fighting the multiple robots jumping at him and Skadi. “Okay… Go!” The Fladramon yelled as his gauntlets started spinning, keeping the swarm of metallic soldiers back by shooting a barrage of firebolts at them. The dragon warrior walked back slowly while trying to keep them away as best as he could, giving Skadi room to start moving forward in order to follow her right after. “Follow my fire wisps! This thing is like a labyrinth!” Mysterious Ship XII. With Sasha back on this plane and as they debated on how to get her out of that soon-to-be-potentially-deadly-toxic room, it would probably be evident for the Russian that Kenna couldn’t think straight. Both the desperation of Sasha’s life being in danger and the uncertainty about Bon had made the scientist extremely nervous, and that’s why she would gladly take any plan Sasha could come up with, especially considering she probably knew more than her about this particular crew and ship. Kenna remained quiet for a second or two after Sasha explained the motive behind her plan and then… “S-Shadow Pathfinder!” She exclaimed. Explanations came right after. “I read about that in the documents on the table. They mention it multiple times, like it’s whatever. I didn’t know what they meant up until now but… now I am almost certain it has to do with what you’re saying! It’s like a conveyance method for the crew!” But then… “W-Wait… are you going to try that!?” A pause. “Well… you’re kind of like a member of them now, too… right?” The scientist asked doubtful. After some more seconds of silence, she spoke again. “I trust you. Let’s do it.”That was before the Russian failed in a couple of attempts, crashing against the wall and bouncing back. At the moment, it didn’t seem to be clear for Kenna what did traveling through darkness had to do with crashing into a wooden wall. “Sasha…” She managed nervously, starting to lose hope. But the blonde didn’t stop. Regardless of how painful every single bump sounded, she kept trying. Over and over. Each hit sounded more painful than the last one, but her way of flying in was equally determined. Whether it was because she felt she had no choice but keep trying or because she was confident she would succeed, failure was not deterring Sasha for a single second. And, just like that, Kenna started believing she could do it to. “One more time! Focus really hard!” Why? This didn’t have any type of scientific basis! Why was she encouraging her to try a third time? Kenna herself didn’t know, but she suddenly trusted Sasha. … And Sasha succeeded, in a very strange way. After slamming her head against the wall that last time and recovering from bouncing back, the scenario, when she opened up her eyes, was absolutely different… she was not at the ship anymore, but she knew the place she had arrived in well enough, as she had visited it not long ago. Dim, green lights, multiple computers, and lots of darkness. Should she lift her view, she would find a purple-haired girl in a lab coat sitting right in front of her. It seemed like she had nocked something when appearing, as the girl had turned immediately to look at her. “… W-W-W-What…?”
Kenna tilted her head nervously. One of the monitors in front of the scientist had an image of herself while being completely stunned, being recorded by the inventory floating next to Sasha. Sasha was at Kenna’s laboratory! No… more importantly! Kenna looked like her normal size, which meant… Sasha was back at her normal size! … She still had the bee outfit, though. “SASHA!!!!!”
And now she had Kenna’s arms warped around her. Although extremely confused, the girl was just delighted to see her. Easy comes, easy goes, right? Sasha’s vision would start turning blurrily black until she lost conscience of where she was again. The next thing she would feel was her body getting soaked and sinking into an amount of water that felt infinite. It was getting progressively harder to breathe and she could feel the strength of her body fading away. Something started shaking her. She needed to open her eyes. It was dark. Profoundly dark. She could barely see the daylight threading between the water above her. Her body was sinking rapidly. There was something trying to pull her up, it had a human shape. It was hard to tell who it was, but it was easy to tell it was having a hard time doing so. Sasha’s body started progressively waking up too. It's 10:13 am! It's drizzling over Idayi Island.
Caine's Seer gave him some information!
-Caine can feel the desperate shout of two items within the factory, calling for Gyo and Scarab. He feels these items vibrate and knows they had taken Gyo, Scarab, and Bruga somewhere. They no longer occupy this plane.
-Caine can feel a third presence going to the factory. Unlike the Unaba warriors, it's walking quite leisurely towards the abandoned building. From its sole existence, Caine can somewhat tell this digimon is incredibly powerful. It's getting closer.
Nami received combat information about Ulak [1]! She may receive more in the future.
-Unaba's wall (Passive): Ulak's defense increases 100% of its original defense value by every digimon that does not belong to the Unaba clan that he is fighting. Having him be directly or indirectly affected by a technique and targetting him count as fighting Ulak.
-Calm mind (Passive): Ulak is completely immune to techniques that do not try to deal damage as at least one of their effects.
-Unaba Higher Up (Passive): Ulak's passives cannot be ignored or disabled except by the effect of one of Ulak's techniques.
-Split and conquer (Passive): Ulak takes zero damage from the first, second, and third named attack he receives every turn. The fourth named attack he receives in a turn makes regular damage. The fifth named attack Ulak receives in a turn causes three times more damage to him.
Kenny, Hisato, and Caine received combat information about Aleh[2]! they may receive more in the future.
-Unaba's bullet (Passive): Aleh's speed increases 100% of its original speed value by every digimon that does not belong to the Unaba clan that she is fighting. Having her be directly or indirectly affected by a technique and targetting her count as fighting Aleh
-Frenzy mind (Passive): Aleh is completely immune to techniques whose only effect is dealing damage.
-Unaba Higher Up (Passive): Aleh's passives cannot be ignored or disabled except by the effect of one of Aleh's techniques.
-There's strength in numbers (Passive): Aleh takes zero damage when fighting more than one enemy at the same time. Having her be directly or indirectly affected by a technique and targetting her count as fighting Aleh.
(You calmed Bon when he needed it, so he came to the rescue) -Infiltration complete! (You got at least 2 members hearing the Ozith meeting at the same time)

As soon as Nami touched Ulak, her eyes peered cursorily through the information as she sat beside him. A fairly suspicious image, given the current state of affairs, but probably the wisest decision she could make, given who was her opponent.
Least to say, engaging with him on actual combat would’ve been an extremely fruitless endeavor, but that was a possibility that hadn’t escaped the Venusmon either, and the very reason why Nami had adopted this form, among other things. Thinking on her feet had paid off, even if to something as lukewarm as avoiding a worst-case scenario. For the time being, the best she could hope to attempt was to buy whoever was inside the factory as much time as possible and hope they were competent enough to seize that to their advantage.
The Goddess’ hand rested atop the Tyrannomon’s frame, gently caressing the dinosaur’s head in an affectionate gesture. With any luck, that’d help to keep her ‘opponent’ pacified enough for a casual conversation. “Query.” The Venusmon shook her head in a pensive gesture. “Why is somebody as strong as yourself doing a henchman’s job? Were you in any other place, your and your sister’s strength would be revered, not diminished to the form of a subservient pickaxe. I’m quite curious about that.”
Even if pacified, expecting a response to something as sensitive as that question was a dicey proposition. However, Nami had a point to her question; the fact that such a strong pair of digimons was being used as a mere battering ram was somewhat baffling in the grand scheme of things. Even an offhand comment could provide valuable insight on how the Unaba operated. And even if not, even smalltalk would be more fruitful than trying to fight a foe such as Ulak. Interestingly enough, Mana’s battlefield wasn’t all that different from her sister’s; maybe the twins’ fates were indeed bound regardless of the distance. It was true that the Meicoomon had been purposefully vague regarding her answers, but whose side she was in at the moment had been left fairly clear. Or at least that’s what she thought.
“Refer to the ‘repay favors’ part.” The Meicoomon smiled wryly after her words! Masking the fact that she now was recording the meeting, she wasn’t going to get intimidated by this or by… the giant mechanized dinosaur that sounded more like he had walked into an exhibit rather than onto a conversation. At least at first! The so-called captain of the Dusk Pirates seemed to have a couple aces under her sleeves. Obviously, MetalGreymon didn’t seem very excited about all the intel Virkka had on the village, and understandably so.
A rather tense meeting, but at least for now, there wasn’t much Mana could say or do to collaborate on the conversation. After all, the thing hadn’t even begun in earnest; she didn’t know what Virkka wanted, or what Isimbi pretended by attending this after saying he didn’t usually care about outsiders. With some luck, she’d get a glimpse into that, or a gateway to inquire about it soon enough.

While Kenna's mention of this "Shadow Pathfinding" helped Sasha feel considerably less stupid for trying, the more she bounced back the less trust she felt on her plan. What if this was pointless? What if she was just making the murderous' Shamamon's job easier and slowly harming hherself over nothing?
Yet even with her mounting doubts she kept at it, not willing to entertain any other possibility. She had gotten this far by trusting her instincts and sticking to her guns, so she wasn't about to change course now. Hell even Kenna seemed to be encouraging her to keep going, what else she needed? Her stubborness would eventually be rewarded as she eventually found herself...elsewhere. It was hard to tell where at first, the world still being a painful blur as her head still ached from all that bouncing.
Things got a bit clearer though as she felt a familiar voice calling out to her as a pair of arms wrapped around her.
"W-what..." She stammered, just as surprised and confused as the scientist was. But there was no mistaking it, she had made her way back to Kenna's lab somehow. She had...actually made that power obey her! Yet she didn't feel elated or relieved but rather just extremely tired. "I...made it?" She weakly stated before her eyes grew too heavy to stay open anymore.
When she came to she first noticed how cold everything was, as if she had been sleeping while buried in snow. And much like someone buried in snow, when she tried to breath for air she didn't get any, a painful burn coursing through her nostrils as she felt the water entering. She had her eyes wide open, though it helped little as these too started to hurt, unable to see anything more than a blurry blue as water surrounded her. Confusion gave way to alarm, which gave way to fear as she immediatelly started moving, desperately waving her arms around in an attempt to swim to the...surface? It was hard to tell if she was for a moment but things seemed to be getting ever so slightly brighter. Not that it mattered. She still couldn't breath, and things were only getting darker and colder around her. She reached her hand to whatever seemed to be trying to pull her up, unsure of who or what they were.
She didn't care. Anything was preferable to dying there, at the bottom of the water. Alone. Even as her strenght seemed to fade she still kept kicking and moving her arms, trying to move every inch closer to the surface as she could, hoping that whoever that figure on the surface belonged to would just help her already, before she couldn't help herself any longer.
