"If it's an old Injury that just makes me more worried, you body shouldn't be doing this unless it's something bad." If the human body didn't want you on your feet it would do what it could to make sure you were off them instantly. As Zack lifted up the corner of his clothes it was pretty clear what was the problem, that purple color spreading outward towards the rest of his body. "Poison, not any normal poison either. You were hit by a digimon weren't you? Tell me what digimon did this to him?" Dust needed to know what kind of digimon he was dealing with, there were after all many different digimon with many different type of poison. "Also if you would, take your jacket and shirt off. We need to clean the wound." Dust probably could've forced them off but he imagined Zack would probably prefer either he or his daughter did, if neither did Dust would cause he kinda sorta had to.
As Dust asked that Luna came back down the stairs with another digimon behind her, another Mega like Dust a Mastemon. Rubbing her eyes for a moment she quickly saw Zack on the bed nearby and almost instantly went over towards a sink, grabbing a piece of cloth and a small bottle, tilting it over and getting the cloth wet heading over to Dust, provided the would was clear she would start cleaning the wound and area around it, making sure to get everything off Zack to the best of her abilities.
"Poison Luna, once they tell us what kind've digimon I need you to go out and find one, lotta digimon with poison abilities in Rosewood after all so it shouldn't be too hard. I'll do what I can from here." Dust paused for a moment before deciding to explain. "If Zack was a digimon Luna could just cure the poison no problem, sadly since Zack is a human we need to actually make an antidote, we have some on hand but we need the right kind or else it won't work, either that or it might just make things far worse. Though even if we can't find one we should be able to keep him from getting worse."
Luna nodded before reaching near Dust's desk and tossing something over to him. "Here, this should help." With that if Luna was told what digimon it was she'd start moving to try and find the digimon in question
Dust didn't even look at what Luna threw, he just caught it before telling Zack. "We can't have you pass out so if you start to feel like you're going under I'll use these, smelling salts Luna got from the human world, it'll suck but its better then the alternative.

"Unless there's a...mmm, hell that hurts...unless there's a raging despot of a Flymon around here I dunno how much success you're going to have in getting an antidote up and running." Zack said, his face now slick with sweat. The dabbing of the wound with the wet cloth would cause the rag to come away coated in a glimmering liquid purple, shimmering with a rainbow on the surface of the muck like an oil slick on pavement. It just LOOKED toxic and it didn't smell much better if one was going to put it that close to their face.
"Don't talk like that, you should barely be talking at all. We can find a Flymon, I promise." Marigold said, using two of her own legs to clutch at his hand, feeling the wobbling tremble of his grip and trying to stop her heart from freezing over. "He's right. it was a Flymon that did this. Ran him clean through one side and poking out the other. This was months ago, we thought a magician friend of ours had healed him but it looked like all that did was close up the wound." She said, looking onto her father's back to where the other part of the scar was, seeing that same caustic spill running all the way down his now bare back. "We don't..." Marigold nearly choked, looking at her father so weak on the table and trying not to lose her own head while she watched him. "We have no idea where she is, after we fought her she ran with her tail between her legs...I swear to god I'm gonna rip her stinger off and feed it to her." Marigold said, her voice rumbling with an anger that was unbecoming of the little bug, the clear panic in her voice not subsiding.
"Hey...hey...look at me." Zack rolled his head to one side weakly to look up into Marigold's eyes, doing his best to close his hand around her leg. "Don't talk like that. I'm not dying not..nnn! Not yet. And it doesn't sound right, something so angry...coming for you." He gave a weak smile, the muscles of his stomach and chest seizing for a moment as he took in a deep breath. He was weak but his pulse and his breathing were strong, it was hard to tell if the poison would kill him and if it would, how long it would take. It placed him in an off sensation of not actually knowing how much danger he was in. A minute? And hour? A week?
"Assertion: I should assist in location of a worthwhile antivenom donor. Marigold will most likely stay here with her father for emotional reasons. My scanning capabilities will make identification of useable venom easier." Violet said, with something that almost resembled a tone of intention in their robotic voice that made it clear that this was not actually a suggestion.

Saya didn't seem to pay much attention to what she was wiping up, it was pretty easy to tell for her it was definitely something she should be clearing off him as quickly as possible. "Please, try not to talk. Save your strength." Those being the first words she had said thus far, her voice sounded surprisingly light and young despite her status as a Mega level digimon.
"We might not need a full on Flymon just a digimon with poisonous abilities of a similar level, while it would be ideal to get a Flymon's poison and the most effective at helping this an alternative is better then nothing." Since digimon were pretty similar at their bases, just ones and zeros it was a bit easier then some human world poisons it still wasn't the best scenario.
When she mentioned the Wizard friend who patched him up Dust just nodded to himself. "Alright I see what happened, if it was a month ago then there might've not been too much left behind, only now starting to affect him much later down the line. Usually poison a digimon uses is instant for use in battle but even a small amount in a human is dangerous. But still is safer then the alternative." Ironically had their Wizard friend not instantly patched the wound Zack might've been safer with the poison draining out alongside the blood, a fear Luna has had ever since shes tried healing humans. Sometimes natural healing was more effective then digital healing.
Then Marigold talked about what the Flymon did, stating what she was going to do to them. Though Dust didn't feel like he knew either of them well enough to comment and just let Zack deal with it. "We won't let your dad die, I swear on my life. All we can do now is clean the wound and try to prepare the basis for the antidote." Dust would offer Zack some painkillers or something but humans made it SUPER hard to get their hands on those for some reason!
With Violet suggesting they go along Luna just gave a thumbs up. "Course, any help you can provide is help I'll take." as she said that she heard Dust whistle at her before tossing a wadded up cloth ball with the stuff Saya had been wiping up on it. "Thanks Dust, Love you!" With that Luna would show it to Violet for a moment. "Said you can scan stuff right? Will this help." It definitely looked very poisonous.

"Hey, marigold? If I start to pass out just punch me in the face please. I've taken a whiff of smelling salts before and let's...just say that sometimes the cure is worse than the disease." Zack said, another sarcastic quip to avoid actually thinking too hard about what he was going through. It was an old superhero trick of trying to downplay how much danger you were actually IN by turning everything into a joke.
"If you don't stop quipping and save your strength I'm going to shove those things so far up your nose they'll get wedged in your sinuses." Marigold said, trying not to break down in a sobbing panic as she looked down at her father. She was, in her own way, also helping to carry on the "joke" if only to make him feel better. "If our...if our friend hadn't closed him up there in the moment then he would have bled out then and there, or gone into shock. It kept him alive I guess we just didn't realize it was going to be a temporary solution." Marigold said, narrowing her gaze at her father when it looked like he was preparing to make another joke, making him hiss out a breathy laugh but remaining silent for the moment until the wadded up ball of leaking poison was lifted up close enough for him to see.
"Friggin'...Digital World, I swear to god. Looks like poison out of a cartoon." Zack said, his face covered in a pale, calmmy sweat as he did actually set his head back and focus on breathing and thinking instead of talking for a few moments.
"Scanning...compound identified. I should be able to match it against the structure of any other poison we find and Zack's cellular and body structures to see if any of them will have the right effects to work as an antivenom." They said, reaching up and snaking one of their long silver metal tendrils around Marigold's arm. The two "siblings" didn't actually say anything to one another, just sharing a look and a sharp nod of understanding. Marigold couldn't stand Violet a lot of the time but they knew that that was all getting packed up and put away for the moment. "We should compare to the antivenom you have on site before going out to canvas other poisonous or venomous digimon in the area for matches" They said, following their guide quickly to whatever cooler or closet they kept the antivenom in, hoping against hope to find the right variety there among the bottles.

"Don't worry, I'll knock you out instead. Wouldn't want your daughter hitting you now would we." Dust said with a slight chuckle trying to keep the mood light as well, it was better then having Zack think too hard on his life being in actual mortal peril at the moment and going into shock, if he went into shock it'd go from bad to a whole lot worse.
"...It can't be helped, not may digimon are used to the effects their powers have on humans, he did what he could but it's quite hard to understand that an ability that has always worked just, doesn't on some digimon." Saya said staring down for a moment before adding on. "Least that's what mom told me to tell other people when this happens." Despite sounding like she was making some neat speech she was just copy pasting it from Luna, who gave a thumbs up in the background despite being the main character of this profile.
However with Violet looking for antivenom they have on hand they would quickly find a small cooler with a few things in it, some blood bags with the blood type O and A written on them and a few vials of poison with the label Wormmon, Kunemon and Snimon written on it. "Yeah this is why Dust was worried, it's pretty hard for us to get this sorta thing at the moment. They don't exactly sell digimon poison on the market." Luna said scratching the side of her head with a small huff.
"They probably do on the black market though." Dust semi joked while taking care of his own buisness.
"Ok Dust go find the black market and bring some back then, have fun with that." Touche.

"Black market? Here in Rosewood is only a...couple streets down. Under that old, ratty looking bathhouse that nobody's opened for years but still hasn't been demolished." Zack said, focusing his mind on the case, just anything to get him off the thought of the side splintering pain that so deep and sharp it felt like someone was pumping brambles through his bone marrow.
"See you said "find the black market" as if that was a joke. We're superheroes. We know where the dirty deeds are being done." Marigold said, actually letting a momentary sparkle of pride run across her eyes. They'd dabbled in dropping in on the place a few times before when they were supplying weapons or chemicals to dangerous criminals but Zack was usually fine enough letting victimless crimes go unanswered.
"Correct. The location of Rosewood's underground market exists in multiple places in the case files I have taken from Zack and Marigold." Violet said, projecting a map of Rosewood on the wall with a blinking light right on the abandoned bathhouse that the pair were referring to.
"By "case files" they literally just mean the stories that we've been telling them but they have to make everything sound official and categorized." Marigold said, finding it in herself to roll her eyes at her "siblings'" habits, though she couldn't bring herself to truly laugh at the moment.
"Also correct. If anyone is willing to accompany me I do not think that we will gain anything further from waiting." Violet said, already halfway out the door with the chemical makeup of the poison already held in their "mind's eye", keeping it close at hand. If digimon venom really was something that was traded off in underground circles than that was where they would go.

Dust pulled back a bit from what he was doing. "Black Market might be a bit of a stretch it's hard to set stuff up like that round him compared to Terminus and Tenebrous, though if something like that is going on around there might just be some fools from Tenebrous or even Terminus setting up trade round here." With that Dust motioned Luna to head over to him while Saya took over what Dust was doing fully. "Can't say for sure if they have what we need but suppose it's worth a check just to stop it and try and find some donations" Luna walked over to where Dust was standing and started to prepare something on a back table.
"I'll get everything ready, Saya should be able to keep Zack in a stable condition. Dust will." As she said that Dust grabbed his pair of Shotguns from under his desk throwing them down where he usually kept them around his right leg. "Dust will do what he does best." Luna seemed quite sure in the Beelzemon as he walked over next to the door.
"If you want to come along that's fine, stuff like this needs to be nipped in the bud before things end up bad." Seems Dust was already set on what he needed to do, though after a moment before he walked through the door, assuming Violet would follow after him Dust would scratch the side of his head recalling what Zack had said, Bathhouse huh? He remembered seeing a place like that.
Though Dust might seem like he was going because he was stronger than Luna it was mostly just because if he sent Luna he was 100% sure she would absolutely end up in the desert somehow, how he didn't know but somehow she would.

"PLEASE do not kill anybody on my account with those, Dust. I am not willing to trade somebody else's life for mine, doesn't matter what kind of scum sucker you find down there. If you're acting on my behalf you have to...nnn, follow my code or else I'd rather you not bother." Zack said, trying to sit up and failing miserably at it, even the act of trying to tense his abdominal muscles left him in a cold sweat.
"I...*sigh*, he won't budge on that. If someone ends up dead down there he probably won't accept whatever you bring back as a matter of principle. Probably not your style but at least try to keep things above board." Marigold said, silently cursing her father's stubborn hold on his own righteous code. People always said it was going to get him killed, Marigold had always prayed those people would be wrong.
"Assurance. Do not fret. I will remain with dust in order to remind him of the requested heroic boundaries. We will return shortly." Violet said, the softly clicking machine following behind Dust as they made their way across town toward their destination.
Yea, it was the exact kind of place you'd expect something sketchy to be going on under. Otherwise someone would have torn the place down and reused the land for...SOMETHING at this point. The sliding door in front threatened to snap off of its tracks from the slightest pressure, though most of the paper in the front door had rotted away already. Stepping into the front room all of the baths were drained, stagnant, sticky pools of "water" in their dredged corners. The only thing that seemed to be even slightly maintained was a door in the back with a heavy iron bolt requiring a key. The sound of muffled voices, though only a few in number, came from the stairwell toward the chamber below.

Dust looked back at Zack as he mentioned that to him, for a moment the Beelzemon almost looked sad before that quickly faded and he waved the two of them off, not exactly agreeing with what they were saying but showing he at least heard. Though considering Zack seemed willing to kill themselves in order to see it though it was pretty easy to think that he was going to listen to him as he left with Violet in tow.
Though this left Luna and Saya to be quiet for a bit, Saya first making sure that Zack didn't sit up, which was a bad idea and Luna looking a bit pensive for a moment as if she was trying to think of something to say, though before she could Saya talked first. "He wasn't going to." She said simply looking down for a few moments before continuing. "Du- Dad, doesn't kill. It's something he's sworn to never do."
"He gets that a lot, people see him and what he carries and they all just, assume he'll go on a rampage beating everyone down. If you think the reason he was going to is because he took his gun it's mostly for safety, he's been through a lot but he's a really sweet guy." Both her and Saya seemed a bit disappointed that the group instantly assumed Dust was going to go on a bloodbath for his sake, though he didn't know the Beelzemon she had hoped the fact he was trying to help heal him and worked here would've been enough to stanch that thought.
Dust didn't say anything on the walk over, he found the place easy enough. Walking with his hands to his side he looked at the sliding door, opening it carefully as to make sure it didn't break and announce his presence. "Stay behind me." He simply told Violet as he walked forward reminding himself as he looked around the area that he should put in a request to either fix this place up or tear it down, hell he'd do it himself when he had the time.
Comping to a door it was the only thing in here that seemed to be well maintained, which just reeked of suspicion. Dust could probably break the door with ease, rip it off its hinges and toss it away but before he even thought about doing that the Mega level digimon bent down slightly and pressed his ear against the door, he heard voices coming from the other side so he was hoping he'd be able to hear them through the door or even from the cracks and damage surrounding the door.
After all it'd be a really bad scene if he just threw the door open and happened upon some kids or something playing around in a new place they found, better safe then sorry. "You got anything to help hear what they're saying?" Dust whispered to Violet figuring he'd ask them for some assistance. Just in case he couldn't hear anything.

"Honestly? It's BECAUSE he seems really sweet and dedicated that I had to warn him. He seems...very dedicated to what you do here. Now that I'm the patient he's working on my behalf. If he's really as driven as he seems then I don't want him being pushed in a bad direction by the idea of helping me. He seems like I good guy I just had to...show him it was alright to not cross the line for my sake." Zack said, still having to pause every few words or so just to be able to take in a deep breath, his chest was seizing up at random, made it feel like he was being suffocated by a hundred pounds of rock on his chest. He hoped Dust had gotten his underlying message because Zack knew almost better than anyone how easy it was to put your toe up to the line when someone was in trouble on your watch, to look out at the easy way and know you could justify it to yourself.
"Saving a life is the goal. And that goal can...eat at the better part of you when it all starts to mount. If saving the life of a "good person" is the ultimate goal then you can justify a lot in order to get there. My dad just wouldn't be able to live with himself if Dust worked to hard to save his life specifically and ended up hurting others in the process." Marigold said, looking equally pensive. She knew something exactly along those lines was why her father had kept her right there where he could see her. His daughter was a hero at heart but the one weakness that could yank her up to the line was her love of her only parent. It was a little cruel to take that choice away from her but he was protecting her from having to make it, at least for now.
Violet pressed one of their tendrils against the seam of the door just under the handle as one of the lights on their "face" scanned along the door, making a wide beam that swept up and down the metallic surface. The other light flickered a yellow color and projected an image of what they were seeing against the floor.
"There is a small group of Ponchomon on the other side of this door, currently discussing the "moving of merchandise" in very vague terms. From what little data I am able to pull at this distance they are in possession of illegal weapon systems, unregistered bootleg upgrades and...on the table near the back of the room someone is selling what can only be described as assassination kits, with advertisement making note of the variety of poisons held within. If Flymon venom were going to be present here, it would be within one of those kits." Violet said, letting Dust take a look at the set up to make a plan of attack. There was no more than ten Ponchomon at worst, though the rough scan through the door was making some shapes blend together, could be more, could be less. They were all sitting at salvaged tables propped up like a vendor's hall at a convention center, leaving the middle of the room mostly unoccupied.

Luna stopped for a moment at what she was doing when she heard what Zack thought, she couldn't help but laugh a small bit at the moment before returning to setting things up for Dust. "Oh is that all? Sorry guess I misunderstood. But you really don't need to worry about that in the slightest if I'm honest. You could probably tell just by his form but that Beelzemon form he takes is his base state, it takes a lot of power and endurance to stay in that form. Honestly if anyone even tries to fight him that would be a huge surprise in my book." Luna seemed to muse to herself for a moment as Saya continued to monitor Zack.
"He's a smart digimon, especially when it comes to stuff like this."
"Upgrades and Illegal weapon's huh, well considering this town is pretty heavily monitered I imagine they won't want a fight to get dragged outta here, small room so exits are limited but that works. 10 digimon though that's a decent number. You should stay out here, hide behind something." Dust seemed to muse to himself and violet for a moment on the plan of attack, the middle was mostly empty and what they needed was in the back of the room.
"There's also one part he tends not to show people too often, he's very..."
Deciding this needed to register on a powerful level just to show who exactly they were dealing with Dust decided to let go of his restraints her put on himself letting a massive amount of dark energy flow through his body, such force might've even scared Violet at the sudden impulse. Walking up to the door Dust reeled back and smashed his fist against it sending the door flying through the wall behind it and sailing into the room, not uncalculated though as it would land dead center in the middle embedding itself into the floor till only the bottom part was showing from the hole in the ground. Slowly Dust made his way down cracking his knuckles letting his power flow freely through the area almost enveloping the whole room in a dark oppressive force.
Intimidating, I guess the best word would be for it, hehe." Yeah if anyone decided to fight him they'd have to be mad or cocky.
"Alright, that's enough of whatever the hell this is. Clear outta here and I might not beat you hard enough to alert the guards." Dust hard his arms crossed and a no nonsense look on his face, the kind that just screamed 'try and hit me see what happens.'

"It's alright, reputation I deserve for being such a hard ass all the time I guess. It's not hard to imagine why people would think I'm passing judgement all the time." Zack said, able to actually smile and seemingly relax a little, focusing on his breathing. Once he had said his piece a he knew that Dust wasn't going to do anything uncommonly violent on his behalf it made it easier for him to actually slow down and focus on his own mental and physical state. Seems the only time that the man would let himself rest is when there was no helping to be done and no other fights to be fought.
"Hey that's...only mostly true." Marigold said, canting her head a little and giggling slightly, even if Zack could only manage a smile, laughing right now would feel like swallowing a golf balls sized pill made of molten iron, keeping the ache and the burn OUT of his processes of thought was only really possible if he didn't do anything to agitate the gaping wound in the front of his body and let the pain sink into a dull throb that could only pulse dully with each new round of his calming heartbeat. He did make the energy to roll his eyes at his daughter's joke though.
"Affirmative, I will...hide...oh my." Violet was blown slightly backward by the rush of dust and wind that buffeted them upon the release of all of Dust's pent up energy, making the air even out in the hall seem oppressively thick. Like a heavy boot was stamped down directly on the chest. Violet left part of themselves peaking out from behind a box of long abandoned towels, one of their spiraling silver limbs unfurled and scanning the air in front of them in order to get a good read on Dust at full power.
The Ponchomon all stared up, not only at the hole in the wall where their door used to be but also at the massive biker digimon, flickering with lines of dark lightning that was now staring down at them. The words he was actually speaking were mostly irrelevant. They heard "clear out" and they did not need any extra instruction. They were black marketeers, not some kind of bandits or brigands and they certainly weren't going to try and gang up on the monstrous THING that they convinced themselves into seeing in front of them. One of the Ponchomon tried to pick up and flee with the assassination kit that Marigold had noticed but that was just one briefcase in the hands of one wriggling bastard to get his hands on, really.

"Well ultimately, we all do that in our own ways before and after we know others. I just wanted to make sure you had the full picture of who he was so you wouldn't worry. After all I know him better than anyone, if I had to guess he's probably just going to intimidate them and come straight back." Though had Luna been focusing she probably would've been able to sense him from here once he did decide to let loose, though if he actually had to fight well. The entire city would probably know it was going on.
Thankfully they all seemed to take the hint, Dust stood in front of the exit and let them pass by him out of the way. If they didn't fight he wouldn't either. However once he saw one grab something, Not even knowing it was the kit at the time, Dust made his way over to the Ponchomon in question. If anyone blinked they would've missed him, almost like he was going from the exit appearing right next to the Ponchomon in question, placing his hand on the digimon and leaning down.
"Clear out means you go, now. You don't take anything, you leave." Dust said in his usual tone as he reached down, grabbed the kit and pulled it away from the digimon in question before shoving him, not hard enough to make him fall but enough to get him moving, towards the exit. "Anyone else want to try and grab something?" Dust asked the crowd of leaving Ponchomon, he wasn't letting them go with anything they were doing down here, considering how they seemed to react he could probably get away with it.
After all they didn't know he wasn't going to kill them, best make them think he will.

"Strong, gentle type huh? I suppose I can appreciate that. Guys like that are worthwhile, plus, they tend to have way bigger hearts than they want anybody to realize." Zack said, smiling. Dust being willing to go out and retrieve something like this for a perfect stranger informed a lot about the man. he could claim upon his return that he was only doing it because Luna told him too and everyone would pretend to keep buying his tough guy act for as much as it was worth.
Zack looked over to his daughter at his bedside and let out a breathy chuckle. Hell, that was exactly the way that he humored Marigold's own tough girl attitude even though he was watching her grow up into a heroic young woman right before his eyes. He turned his head away, tamping down the instinct to cry.
The Ponchomon that Dust was trying to intimidate was at the very least VERY intimidated, babbling apologies as it sped past its small handful of comrades, shoulders bumping shoulders, a couple of the others even being fully bowled over.
Violet waited by the door, a soft clicking sound playing as they scanned and memorized each of the shady Ponchomon for their records. Zack, when he was eventually back on his feet, would want records of this sort of thing in order to keep the fleeing cactus digimon on notice should they ever run into each other again.
"Observation: The briefcase you have confiscated is some kind of anti-venom kit." Violet pointed to the briefcase with one of their glimmering tendrils, tracing along the text on the outside that read "Digimon Venom Response Kit." Who would make sure a thing and how it ended up in the clutches of a shady black market gaggle like the Ponchomon was an open question for another day.

"He's gotten a lot better about letting his true feelings show, though he still tries to put on the tough guy act, least outside the Village, around here he usually tries to look nicer." Luna let out a small laugh before continuing. "I say try cause given his form does draw, some attention but most know what he's about by now." After all he was decently good at helping Luna out with healing, plus way better than her when it came to taking care of humans, hence this whole situation.
"He also wants to learn how to heal digimon like me and mom, but in the form he usually takes I don't think he can." That would be an interesting sight though, to see a Mega digimon like that casting healing spells, though the question would be if anyone would accept a spell from a threatening looking mon like that.
Dust held the small kit up for a moment as Violet mentioned it being an anti-venom kit, considering that's what it said on the Tin it was pretty easy for him to tell. "Hmm, probably to help themselves just in case, after all any doctor worth their bits ain't gonna let you go unless they know how you got poisoned." Dust opened it up to check and make sure the contents were all together before putting it in his jacket pocket before stretching his arm for a moment.
"Guess we got what we came for, I'll toss a word to the guards round here to get this place checked, would myself but we ain't really got the time for that." Looking down at violet he offered them his hand for a moment. "Wanna lift back? I could get us back there at a moment's notice if ya want." Instantly that dark power Dust had been showing had seemed to vanish, almost like it was a whole different digimon standing in front of Violet, if they took his hand Dust would simply run back to the clinic at top speed, if not he wasn't too hard up on taking a quick stroll back.
