Mana nodded rather vigorously at the older teen’s request “Yeah, righty! Of course you can talk to Ayaka alone” she said with her usual cheerfulness “Just let me leave this sugar and lemon biscuits on the table and I’ll be on my way” she did exactly what she had said, leaving two packs of biscuits on the table before getting up “I’ll be right there” she finalized as she signaled a somewhat not-so distant place in the plain.
Ayaka, on her side, regarded Carrie as if she was her daughter, or digi-daughter, more likely. She started to open the lemon biscuit pack as she started talking. “First of all, my partner can’t be really away from me, so that distance will have to do. So… What is it, Carrie-san? You seem to be somewhat troubled at all the recent events” she said somewhat soothingly “I will try to set your mind at ease, but I cannot assure anything, for my knowledge in this matter is rather scarce, as you can see” As she waited for the teenager to start inquiring her, she took another sip of her tea and took a lemon biscuit that Mana had left on the tea table, munching it really slowly and almost without doing a sound.

Sighing, Carrie looked at herself. "I... had this dream... and... I met... this lady called Gotsumon, and she looks just like I do now..." She sighed, looking at the digimon. "I wanted to talk alone because you're more... mature than Mana. Y-you'd probably understand this more than she could. I met Gotsumon in a dream and she told me that we're... that her soul is in my body now... a-and I can use her body... I-I'm worried because I'm not sure this whole... thing is real. I-I dunno if anything past the train station is actually happening..."
She sighed and took a deep breath. "I have this... problem. It's the reason I take my medicine. I... see and hear things that aren't there. I-it's usually kept in order by my medication b-but..." She motioned to herself and Ayaka. "I dunno what's happening... i-it's almost as if the medicine stopped working... I'm seeing and hearing things Ayaka, a-and it's worrying me... c-can you not tell Mana? I think she's too young to understand..."

Ayaka took the final sips of her Tea as Carrie related her dilemma, and poured some more for her and to the troubled girl, as long as she wanted more. It was something… interesting to hear, to say the least. So she actually doubted if all this stuff was real or not? Well, taking into account her “state” it didn’t surprise her.
“Uh, Carrie-san, miss Mana is way more mature and serious than what she lets out, but let’s just say that she enjoys her cheery self way more than the more… refined aspects of her personality. Anyway, better if we do not dwell in there. If you want privacy, I am no one to deny it. As for your particular quandary, at the very least I can assure you that Gotsumon is a real species of digimon and that pretty much, they look like exactly like you, so I find a certain quota of truthfulness in what the fine lady in your head had said. To be blunt, you are actually using a real Gotsumon’s body”.
She took another sip of tea as she let the words sink before she continued
“It’s fine for you to be confused, Carrie-san. While my emphatic skills are not as developed as my partner’s, I can feel that you are quite troubled about this whole situation, and while your condition makes everything the more logical, I can assure you that the Digital World, digimon, and the fact that you are using a digimon’s body in this precise instant are very much real. Miss Mana’s kindness to you was real, even this furniture made of grass and the tea we are sipping is real… and said tea is pretty good, I might add”.

She nodded about the cheery aspects Mana had displayed, thinking about how that little girl could be stuck in the Hindenburg Disaster and still be happy the entire time. She moaned softly, not sure how to feel about being a digimon, or at least looking like one. She took out her digivice (don't ask from where, I don't think she knows either) and, after a bit of fumbling, confirmed that she was a Gotsumon and it was a real species. The silence Ayaka had given to let this sink in just made her worried that she was going to drop something heavy on her... in a metaphorical sense, I mean.
Carrie was silent this whole time and took her sugar, mixing it in her tea carefully, frowning as she realized she'd bent and warped the spoon violently with her big, strong, hands. Not wishing to risk doing the same to the teacup, she took it by its sides and drank, frowning as a good amount of the tea flowed out of her mouth and onto the table, lacking lips to keep it inside her mouth... or a tongue to taste it. Setting the cup back down and sighing, she tried to grasp a biscuit, but they kept shattering in her hands before she could even get them off the table. After her third attempt she gave up, leaving the pile of crumbs be.
"I wish I knew that..." She sighed, running her three fingers across the table. "OK Mana, you can come back now..."

Ayaka frowned at Carrie’s poor manners at handling the tableware and at drinking her tea, but choose not to make a big deal of it. After all, she couldn’t blame her for having big, clumsy and oversized hands. And even, in that moment she was pretty grateful that whoever had programmed her had decided to give her graceful and delicate limbs instead of those rough hands.
“Trust me, Carrie-san. I am pretty sure that miss Mana is almost hellbent on helping you. She almost sees you as her sister as of now… I do not know if elder or younger but… never mind. The point is that I am pretty sure she will help you in any way humanly possible, and that should put your mind at ease. Yes, maybe her methods are not the most orthodox, but… I guess they are pretty effective”
Carrie then called Mana and she returned with her usual smile.
“You two had fu-un?” she asked in a sing-songy voice as she sat again “Well, what do you wanna do now, Carrie-san? We've already found out why you didn’t have a partner, so you wanna stay here until you devolve and rest a little or you wanna return to the real world? I’m game for everythin’!”

Carrie sighed and nodded as she listened to the little digimon, blinking as she mentioned that she thought of her as a sister. "W-wow, she gets really um... personal, heh..." She turned to Carrie as she approached, looking slightly concerned. "I... can't really go back to the human world like this..." She admitted. "S-so we stay here?" She said, unsure if she really wanted too.
As she sat at the table and tried to wipe off the spilled tea, she began to think about all this. She thought about this ability and how it would work in the human world. She was bothered at the concept that she may be the only one who could do this. Her mind nagged her about the possible effect of this new voice on her psyche. But most of all she worried about something far more important, something far more valuable than any of those combined. "...Do you two know where my clothes went?" She looked a bit worried as she asked this.

Carrie looked really insecure, but she was the one who was a pile of talking rocks, so the decision was hers, or at least it was hers according to Mana's logic.
“Yeah, no problem by me" she answered "We have plenty of tea and biscuits and we can talk about… I don’t know, but I guess we’ll come up with something. We’ll have our first full fledged tea party in the Digital World! Yay!”
As she started doing the necessary preparations to increase the level of potential fun to the maximum. She stumbled unto Carrie’s predicament… she didn’t have any clothes and she couldn't see to remember where she had left them, as if they had just disappeared with her transformation like if it were some sort of magic
“Well, Carrie-san… that’s a really interesting question” the Kodamon said with a thoughtful voice “But I Think it’s simple enough… your clothes will come back the same way that they had vanished, or… How comfortable do you think grass clothes will be? You know, I’m referring to… down there".
“Ayaka, what are you talking about?” asked her tamer naively
“You really don’t want to know, miss Mana. You really don't want to know".
