Rest Stop: Figuring Things to Come (Sanoske/invite)

"I have no clue." Pure admitted, "We can't exactly send them home seeing how that would end up being a death sentence to them. During the time we were separated, Mel was attacked by some of his own kind. He even went out of his own way to kill one of them. No doubt he won't be allowed to live back in the Hylden realm without having to fight for the rest of their lives." Pure gave a depressed sigh, "Crystal always been better at figuring all this out then me."
"You know it. I'm already working on something." Crystal called out over to them, overhearing the whole conversation.
Pure's head hung low, "Oh yeah... I should of known that if I could overhear her own conversation, she can overhear my own." Pure said as he tried to avoid facepalming.

Sanoske chuckled at Crystal's interruption, but wasn't at all surprised. These siblings he traveled with had large ears, primed for hearing better than he could, despite having large ears himself. He already suspected that Crystal could listen in on their conversation.
^Indeed. I can see she has an... ingenuity streak, so to speak.^
Giving Pure a playful nudge, he made his way back to the Lopmon. ^Anyway, after we save Mel's sister, we can have Tab work on a second body for Mel. Would that be fine for you two?^

Pure stood up and followed Sanoske as the larger digimon spoke. "I'm not sure. It would be nice to finally having my body to myself again. Yet are we sure Tab will be able to do it." Pure answered as he looked over his sister.
"Don't worry Pure. We'll free you of that monster somehow. Now can we all eat without anymore fights amongst ourselves." Crystal replied as she turned back around on her chair and return to eating.
"I wish you would stop calling him a monster. He's done some pretty bad stuff to us, but nothing that bad."
"I guess not..." Crystal sighed when Pure immediately went against her request, "So Sanoske? I'm curious about something. Do you think you'd be able to enter the Hylden Realm?"

^If it makes you feel better I will just keep referring to him by his actual name.^ Sanoske said with some slight sarcasm. But he did agree that they should just enjoy each other's company.
Crystal had asked Sanoske if he could enter into the Hylden realm, and he started his response with a head shake.
^I am still a product of my creator and as such bound to him. If this Hylden realm truly is a separate world like the human world, It would be impossible for me to remain there.
Based on a story Ghost told me, I have reason to believe if I do attempt it, I would either not be able to fully go in, have my body being reset back in this world, or I would simply cease to exist. I am not completely certain what may happen, I admit, but forgive me in saying I am not willing to attempt it.^
The Gazimon howled slightly, knowing he'd be unable to aid anyone if or when they do get into the Hylden area.
^Anyway, I am sure this will all be worked out soon.^

"No need to apologize. I'm not willing to have you attempt something so risky either." Crystal agreed as she thought about the situation some more. It seemed that if they do have to go into the Hylden Realm, they are going to have to do it without Sanoske.
"So Crystal. Do you have a plan yet?" Pure asked.
"I think, but I want to talk to these guys that Tab spoke about before I say anything. Though I get the feeling we're not going to accomplish this without that mons... Mel." Crystal shared before taking another bite from her sandwich. She didn't like the idea of having to work with Mel, but she believed that if they were going to save his sister, he might as well help them out with it.

Sanoske looked around a bit and waited to see if he would find Tab, which took little time. Tab was tending to someone else outside, but came over once he saw Sanoske waved him over. They were ready for his aid, they just needed to set everything up.
"Alright, you guys, anything else you wanted?"
^Is there an way we can speak with the digimon you said would help us?^
"Well, I had 3 digimon in mind, two of which usually stay in the human world. But I can tell you about them. They all know each other and are good digimon.
One is Lezard the AstralWizardmon. He's a bit pretentious but he tends to not tick people off. Really book smart and is a tinkerer. His dexterity is amazing.
Another is Karen the ChubbyRenamon..."
^A what?^
"Anyway... she speaks a bit weird, but she's nice and motherly with her closest friends. A really accomplished engineer, too, where she works.
Finally is Burst the MechaImpmon. He's actually the Mayor of Rustport and he has close ties with Karen. He's rather boisterous at times... kinda like Aunt Lilly, but less physical.
With all three of those big brained digimon working with that Hylden you'll have your portal to the Hylden world in no time!"
^Certainly sounds impressive.^
Tab chuckled. He left out a few things about the others. Lezard was pretty "clean" when it came to his past, but Burst and Karen... not so much. But they were very capable digimon and Tab was certain they would aid Team Crystal.

Crystal was stuck in deep thought as she mulled over what Tab said about the 3 digimon he spoke about. They all sound like they had pretty impressive resumes. There was little doubt in Crystal's mind that with some help, they would be able to open a portal to the Hylden realm. At least if what Tab said about them is true.
"Well that's a little bit reassuring." Pure said as he seemed to like what he heard. This meant they were one step closer to saving Mel's sister.
"I wouldn't be so sure Pure. We still don't know if they are willing to help us out yet. For all we know, they might have more pressing matters to deal with then to help a couple of strangers." Crystal mentioned before looking over at Tab, "Thank you for telling us about those three. Like Sanoske said, they all sound like a pretty impressive group. Hopefully they will be willing to help us with this matter."

Tab smiled, shrugging a bit. "Hey, I'm positive they will all help. Lezard's pretty inquisitive and he won't turn down a chance to look into a parallel dimension at the very least. And I'm sure I can get Burst and Karen to spend a few days helping you guys. Especially if it is to help someone. If I can get one, I'll certainly get the other. No worries!
I'm a guy with connections. A little networking goes a long way with the right people, ya know?"
^Yes, I guess you are right. There is no... catch to all this, right? ^
"Admittedly there was going to be. I wanted to interview you for my podcast but I don't want to be killed again for as long as I can, so no payment from you guys is needed."
Sanoske nodded, quickly realizing what Tab intended his "interview" to center around. Of course, the Gazimon wouldn't have went as far as murder, but why ruin a good thing?
^Yes, that is a good decision. ^

"I'm sorry, but it doesn't feel right having you do all this for us for nothing. Are you sure there is nothing else we can do for you?" Pure asked. He didn't like the idea of being indebted to Tab. Despite how nice he may seem now, Pure feared that they may end up regretting it later.
"Let's not worry about that. We first should figure out what materials we're going to need." Crystal said before giving a frustrated sigh, "We're going to have to ask him for what we need, aren't we? He's the only one I can think of that has made a portal from our world to theirs. No doubt his research will be crucial for creating this portal."
She didn't just actively hated the thought she just had. She outright despised it. The only way Mel would be able to truly help them is if he took over Pure's body again, something she swore to never let happen. Yet how else were they suppose to build the portal where they needed it and find their way around the Hylden Realm. Surely she could think of a better way to go about this.

"Really really, I'm just trying to be a good Samaritanmon Terrierguy! Looks like you three already have your own problems you got to deal with without worrying about repayment anyway.
And Crystal... give the guy a chance at something resembling redemption, okay? Or at least give him the chance to participate in saving his sister. Faster you get this over with, the better.
And if he does want to change his colors after you do save his sister, at least give him the benefit of the doubt. Even setting aside my time in a previous life as an evil digimon, my past wasn't completely without me being a jerk, and that's me understating. I know a few other digimon who turned themselves around once given the chance. Like, more than you might think."
^Yeah. And at the very least, you have that raygun, Crys. If Mel acts up, you can shoot him profusely^
"Yeah, about that gun... I appreciate your restraint in not showing it off, and I suggest you keep at it. Aunt Lilly doesn't really like any conflict going on at her restaurant and you don't want to cause a panic."[/i][/color}
^Believe me, I am well aware of that. Just thinking about it makes me think a seizure is coming up.^

Crystal shivered at the thought of facing Lily's wraith. She also remembered what happened last time her and Sanoske were her. She did not want to face such a fate herself.
"I'm not above giving the mon... Mel a chance. It doesn't mean that I don't have to like it. He's proven himself to be smart and ruthless, and I don't like taking any chances with him. Yet this is ultimately Pure's choice."
"I'll see if I can't speak to Mel later about it. See what he thinks of all this." Pure responded simply. He wasn't exactly happy with the idea of being a passenger in his own body again. Yet if it means that he can redeem himself, he is willing to do it.
"Well then. I guess we should just spend the rest of the day rest up then. Tab, you probably going to need some time contacting everyone, and we should do some research on all we can about the Hylden World. Where should we all meet up at?" Crystal asked Tab, seeing how he seems to be the one who's going to organize this whole ordeal.

"Sounds like a plan. Give me, at most, three days to get the gang together. We'll meet here, or in the general area. Lilly's spending a few days here before moving on. As for materials, if you can tell me what you need I could probably have them bring a few things over here. Let me know before the day is up, alright?
Unfortunately, we have nowhere in the restaurant for you guys to sleep, what with me and my brother sleeping there as well. But you can sleep on top of this thing, I guess. I could get you guys some sheets or something..."
^Do not worry, I think I can deal with that.^

"Yeah. We're use to sleeping outside. Besides, I doubt you have a room large enough for this big lug, and I prefer not to be away from my comfy bed at night." Crystal said, lovingly nudging Sanoske in the process.
"Eww..." Pure remarked, not exactly appreciative of the mental images that just popped up in his head, "I'll uhh... See if I can convince Mel to help us once I'm finish eating. I know this is his sister's life on the line, but he isn't one to trust others. Hopefully though I can get you a list of the things we need before the end of the day."

Sanoske gave an embarrassed chuckle at Crystal's affections and Pure's response although he wasn't too sure where Pure's disgust came from. Did he think he didn't bathe? Sure Sanoske's body didn't really produce any body odor but he surely still cleaned himself whenever he could. Or was it because Sanoske slept with his eyes half open? Ghost once noted how creepy that was. Surely Pure wasn't thinking that Crystal wetted herself...
As the Gazimon thought about Pure's response, a bit too deeply at that, Tab seem satisfied with the answers he got. "Hah, alright. Not to rush you, but let me know as soon as you can, alright? Anyway, gotta go back to work."
Tab went off once more, leaving the others alone with Sanoske contemplating.

Pure and Crystal finally return back to eating their lunch as they both contemplated what they just discussed. It was hard for either of the two twins to believe the path they are on now. They were just simply travelers, survivors of an attack on their caravan. Now they are trying to rescue the sister of the man who possessed Pure from another world. How much things have change.
"So Crystal. Now that we got a moment. When did you get you memories back?" Pure decided to ask curiously.
"It happened shortly after we met up with Ghost. On our way back, we ended up across the scene where our caravan was attacked. It all came flooding back to me right around then." Crystal explained, deciding to keep her dark digivolution to herself.
"Is that so?" Pure asked, feeling bad that he never took her back there himself.
"Yeah. We even manage to find Moosemon, or his Spirit Totem at least. It seemed he decided to travel with a young Spirit Wielder we met along the way."
"Really. Moosemon always seemed to hated humans. I would of never expected him to lend a human his powers."
"I know. I was surprise as well when it happened. Maybe there was more to him then either of us thought there were." They both shared a small, lighthearted chuckle as they reminisce of their old guardian and mentor.
"Do you know if anybody else survived the attack?" Pure finally asked, instantly regretting bringing the subject up.
"I can't say." Crystal said with a frown on her face, "Many of our old friends didn't make it through the night, though the bandits ended up suffering heavy casualties because of a third party."
"Ohh... I'm sorry to bring up bad memories. I just hope at least some one else managed to save themselves from the hell that happened that night."
"Yeah..." Crystal responded, now completely depressed as she went back to eating her sandwich.
