Dream.
Standing in front of a army a Beelzemon smiled. "I suppose I have none to blame but myself, you are all here to kill me right, you have every right to do so. For what I've done there is no atonement" He said before looking down at his gun. "I've killed all of you more then once, it's my fault for not fully destroying you. You are all here to kill me, to destroy the one who destroyed you oh so many times before." The sheer amount of Champions and Ultimates was staggering. "But you see I have something I have to do before I go, so if you won't get out of my way. I'LL FORCE YOU ASIDE!" He shouted before rushing the entire army guns raised pointing at them. A battle that could shake the gods ensured, a entire army against one digimon, one being.
Standing in the middle of most of the army was a battered, beaten and near dead Digimon, for all his power the sheer numbers were far to much for him to beat alone. "Hehehe, I suppose this is it isn't it. This is where I fall." He said before collapsing to the ground fatigue catching up, wounds preventing him from doing anything else, he had accepted his loss. As the rest charged attacks, their strongest attacks meant to kill him he just laughed. "Sorry I couldn't see you one last time Maria, I suppose you to." He ended the last one he added no name before the blast ensured taking him out.
Reality.
Dust awake with a start and instantly sat up, or he would if he wasn't beaten up badly. "Was that a dream? Do Digimon dream or did I just remember something?" He asked himself as he slowly got up looking around the area. "This is, the wasteland. Where's Luna?" Dust asked a bit panicked as he got up slowly. It was then he remembered what happened before. "That's right, we got jumped by a group, a champion and two rookies." Dust said shaking his head, were that champion not there he'd most likely of won. "Damn they took Luna, I have to go find her." Dust said quickly standing up on shaky legs, he recalled being more beat up then this, did Luna heal him before they left with her?
"Even now I'm glad I got you instead of a muscled bound idiot." Dust said before he looked around, there were small footsteps, some water. "That's right her tear shot. I just got to follow this trail." Dust mumbled out before he started walking in that direction.

BEEP...
BEEP...
BEEP...
BEEP...
Gallatin woke up and slowly opened his eyes as he took in his surroundings. As his eyes adjusted to the light, he saw that right now he was hooked up to a heart monitor in what looked to be a hospital room. There was nobody in there right now and the room was completely silent besides the methodical beeping that presented his heart beat. He let out a sigh. "I made it AncientKronosmon... I made it, friend..." He murmured to himself.
After pulling himself up to an upright position on the bed, he looked at his heavily bandaged shoulder to realize that it was in perfect condition, despite the bandages themselves being drenched in blood. A parting gift from his spirit maybe? Who knows. All that mattered to him was getting out of this hospital. He instinctively checked his digivice to realize that it now had a faint gold tint around it. He looked onto the screen expecting to see the totem that signified AncientKronosmon's presence. When he looked at it, the totem was there, but it was colored in grey-scale; most likely signifying the departure of his spirit guide from the device.
Sighing to himself, Gallatin reholstered his digivice, hiding it from sight, before he hoisted himself into a sitting position and was about to leave the bed, when suddenly it completely the world around him glowed with blue binary code. Feeling woozy, he leaned back into the bed as the world around him melted away and the bed, along with him, vanished from the room entirely. When Gallatin finally felt well enough to open his eyes, he looked to see that the bed was resting in the middle of some sort of wasteland. The sky had a dark brown tone and he couldn't see anything of distinction for miles in any direction. Just when he had given up, hey looked behind the bed frame to see a small, purple Imp-like digimon looking at some sort of water trail on the ground. "That's an Impmon... At least according to AncientKronosmon's memories." He whispered to himself before jumping as the digimon turned around to face him.

Maybe it was because Dust was a bit on edge because of the whole ordeal. Maybe it was because of the dream but the second he felt something out of place he turned around a large dark symbol forming in the air in front of him pointed at the newcomer. Dust was sure there was nothing there before but when he saw the person was human, or at least looked human Dust dropped the symbol as quickly as it appeared.
Dust looked in the air, then around confused. He wasn't the best at tracking by a long shot, nor was he the best at hearing but he wasn't blind nor did he have problems hearing. Now there was a human on a bed in a wasteland. Could this day get any stranger, any way at all. What Dust didn't know was the answer was yes, and yes it was.
"Sorry about that. But, who are you? How did you get here?" Dust asked his tone calm. He said sorry and while that doesn't totally null out what he did Dust had a good reason. Because beds don't come out of nowhere and to his knowledge neither did humans.

Gallatin didn't jump much when he saw the Impmon about to blast him with some sort of Darkness thing from his hand. His past experience had pretty much desensitized him to anything shocking like that for at least a little while. Overcoming the rest of his nausea, Gallatin slowly raised himself off of the bed and onto his feet.
"Oh, hello. I'm Gallatin." He said, cutting it short and sweet. No point in avoiding answering him when he had so many questions himself. "I kinda don't know how I got here; but then again, this isn't the first time I've been randomly teleported to the digital world... This is the digital world right?" He questioned, taking a moment to stretch himself and let out a yawn.
"Anyway, like I said, this isn't the first time this has happened. I kinda got used to it." He said while chuckling a little. "So, just a question, do you need help with anything important. Like a big problem that your trying to solve or something?" Gallatin usually was randomly taken through portals to people that needed help or were lost or somethings similar. So he figured this was probably like those instances. "Not to be rude, but that's usually why this stuff happens; it's because you or somebody messed up and your in a deep problem, so ask for help away I guess."
Gallatin once again plopped down on the bedside and patted a spot next to it, motioning for if the Impmon wanted to take a seat since he looked pretty banged up and tired.

Dust was having a hard time processing this. This Human had just appeared, said he was used to it then offered a place to sit and a bed. Then again the only humans he had met were Maia and Dante so considering the vast difference between those two Dust supposed that this was normal. Ok it wasn't in the slightest bit screw it Luna was in trouble.
"No one really screwed up, I was attacked by several digimon. I couldn't handle them all, one was a champion and they took." Dust paused the word Maia used before creeping up in the back of his head. "My friend was taken." Dust said not knowing why he was saying all this, maybe it was because deep down he knew the chances of him winning alone were slim at best.
"So, if your really keen on helping just follow me, I'm quite sure she left this trail." Dust said standing in front of the water trail. He didn't sit down mostly because he didn't trust a bed that could teleport.

Gallatin was kinda sad he had to leave the bed to help the guy, but there was really nothing else for him to do except wait in this dark wasteland; and that was probably a worse idea. He shrugged his shoulders and stood up from the bed once more.
"So your looking for a friend? Sure I can help." Gallatin answered, glad to be of some assistance. He was glad that he could help where he could and make other people happy for now. "Lead the way I guess. Though I don't think I'd be very useful in a fight." Gallatin currently had his digivice holstered and hidden under his shirt and jacket. There was no point in talking about his powers or strength if there was a possibility they could avoid a fight. Maybe they might just find the Impmon's friend and sneak him/her away from their kidnappers...
"Nice to be working with you." He finished, before shaking hands with the Impmon. "So do I just call you Impmon or do you have a nickname?" Gallatin didn't want to be insensitive by just calling him Impmon. It was like just calling him or other people 'Human'. He finished shaking his hand before inspecting the 'trail' the Impmon pointed out.

Dust didn't mind that he wouldn't be good in a fight. "Don't worry, I try to avoid fighting." Dust said quickly before he started following the trail. When Gallatin asked his name Dust just looked back and shrugged a bit. "Dust, a name not a nickname." Dust quickly explained before continuing onward but couldn't help but wonder something about this.
"Actually I have to ask something, I know two other humans. One named Maia and the other Dante, have you met either of them?" Dust asked, it hadn't been that long since he saw either but he still wanted to know if this human saw them earlier. Or knew them at all.

Gallatin was glad he asked. It was cool to meet a digimon with a name. It helped remind him that they were living beings just like him. He was especially surprised when he heard Dust mention one of Gallatin's 'friends'.
"Wow, you know Maia too?" He asked in astonishment. This really was a small world. "Yeah, I saw her a week or two ago. She was pretty beautifu-I mean hot-I mean she was fine!" Gallatin answered, still in shock about the sudden question. "Wait.. why? Did you see her? Did she say anything about me?" He bombarded Dust with question after question. AncientKronosmon rolled over in his grave about how painfully obvious it was that Gallatin 'liked' her.
He caught himself though before getting too out of control and weirding out Dust. "I mean... yeah. She's fine and stuff. We're talking about the same Maia right? Has a funny Kudamon that's on her shoulder and has a tendency to drop branches on people?" He added to clarify. Who knows how many Maias were running around the digital world?
Also, when he heard the other name that Dust mentioned, Gallatin shuddered for some inexplicable reason. He didn't know who this Dante person was, but just hearing the name suddenly made Gallatin's head hurt; as if his brain was trying to remember something that wasn't there anymore... He shifted his train of thought to think about that later as he had enough on his mind already. He answered as such, to the best of his ability. "Also, can't say I've met a Dante before. Name sounds familiar though."

"Cripes, how did he weasel me into doing one of his jobs... he's either lazier than I think, or smarter than I give him credit for..."
Elsewhere, another Impmon, specifically some unique variant of it, floated about, flying over the ground. She, too, was searching. She kept an eye out and a low profile, which is why she wasn't using any of her other forms.
She was here because, somehow, That Guilmon managed to get her to check out a lead in this area. That was busy getting Beverly's gift ready for her wedding, but also needed some extra money so he could give it to his family who runs a restaurant, as well as some for his brother, Tab. That Guilmon was fairly busy, but he had a good heart when he wasn't being a funny prick at times.
In any case, Ghost was doing this as a favor to help a friend. Although she wasn't sure anything would come out of this.
"Should have brought someone along... who knows how long this will take..."
She continue to fly low off the ground and searched some more, eventually seeing a couple others and a bed. Floating over to them, she landed, hands on her hips and grin on her face. She spoke with a strange, slight inverse reverb to her voice.
"Curious bed you got there. Say, either of you boys seen anything... odd around here? Well, aside from you two but I doubt you two mean any harm."

Dust nodded, if it was the same Maia then yes he knew. He was then confused about he next few things, he kept correcting himself each word being different then the last before he just said fine. This confused Dust greatly having little idea of why that was happening but even Dust got the general idea, and he was the most hopless in this subject as you could get.
"Uhh yeah same one. And no, she didn't." Dust said not wanting to lie. "Well it's good you know her I suppose. I was just curious." Dust said giving a small reason, though what he learned was something he might not want I tell Maia about. For some reason that didn't sound like the best idea right around now.
The next random thing that happened was another Impmon like digimon he wanted to say landed near them, another occurrence that didn't fully make sense, though he hadn't been fully paying attention. "Odd? Other then a bed appearing out of nowhere no. Why?" Dust was wondering exactly what was going on when he finds others in the middle of nowhere but this one seemed to not mean any harm so that was good.

Gallatin was slightly off put by the digimon-thing, but not for the obvious reasons. He'd seen enough weird things to get used to this kind of regular random occurrence. Gallatin tried to respond normally nevertheless. "No... um, 'ma'am'? I'm sorry, still getting used to digimon genders." He said, bowing his head in embarrassment. "But yeah, nothing strange really, except we're looking for Dusts' kidnapped friend... Which shouldn't we get onto finding them? Your acting pretty lax about all of this, Dust."
Gallatin pushed the thought about the new digimon to the back of his head... But it wouldn't stay there. It gnawed on his mind until he had to address it. "WHO'S THAT POKEMON DIGIMON?" he thought to himself. It was wierd that Impmon kept coming to his head from AncientKronosmon's memories... but that clearly wasn't the case... Maybe a new type?

Ghost only gave the initial reaction of a snerk... a sharp chuckle... and some muffled laughter at Gall's comment about getting used to digimon genders.
"You say 'ma'am' like you're unsure. I've seen human women before, I don't think it's hard to imagine a clearly female digimon, right?
Or maybe you're crushing on me? Although if that's the case I'd have to shut you down. I don't date humans. Not interested. Hee hee, but anyway...
Kidnapped friend seems like as good a lead as any. I'll... hang around. See, I'm checking something out for a friend of mine... and having a few extra eyes around just might make the search easier."

Dust gave a annoyed look at Gallatin for a bit. "Yes, unless either of you wants to wait for another to randomly show up." Dust said wondering if that would happen again. Dust was worried a lot but he had to keep calm, getting agitated and panicked wouldn't do much but waste time. "I have no reason to object. Alright come on. I can't say for sure but I think she left this water trail, best lead as any." Dust said before following it.
"Oh yeah before I forget, do you have a name? I'm Dust nice to meet you." Dust said to this newcomer, he figured even in a situation like this he should remember to be nice.

Gallatin decided to just not acknowledge the Impmon-like digimon's words because this conversation was already progressively making him uncomfortable. " Well at least nothing has tried to kill me yet." he sighed to himself. "Usually by this point I would have been strangled by an Arachnemon or shot with an arrow or blackmailed by a Devimon in a cooking apron. Really, this is an achievement so far." He looked at the ground to study the strange liquid that was supposed to be a trail to Dust's friend. It felt like water when he stuck his finger into it and moved it around a little, but it tingled a little too. It was obviously from some kind of digimon attack. In his pocket, his digivice buzzed. " Well at least it's on vibrate... didn't even know it could do that." Gallatin inaudibly whispered to himself while bending over to look at his digivice while the two were talking to each other. He thought it would be better people not know about his abilities until he was absolutely sure he could trust them. Dust seemed like an okay guy, but it was that new digimon that made Gallatin feel uneasy... Getting shot with an arrow tends to make a person more cautious. As he looked down at the screen of the digivice while holding it under his jacket, pretending to be checking the water out more. On the screen it displayed a message. MATERIAL ANALYSED:

Gallatin reholstered and hid his digivice before standing back up and turning to the pair of digimon. " Hey, so this water trail looks pretty fresh still. I think if we get moving now we can still catch up and find your friend." He explained to Dust before glancing at the other digimon that still seemed off to Gallatin for some reason.

Ghost had gave a nod to Dust... he seemed familiar. It probably was that Impmon Beverly had met some time ago. She had me mentioned meeting one before, and the two were mentally linked. Still, no reason to bring that up at this point, it wouldn't really mean anything.
"I am Ghost. Not 'a ghost', just Ghost. And likewise, Dust."
The human didn't reply back, but it didn't seem to bother her. She simply hovered up again and followed the trail. "Well, lets not dawdle about."
