i sat around Terminus looking at his arm, he quickly streched a little before wincing in pain. All he had on was a black shirt sleeved shirt which easily showed the bandages on his arms. He looked at his hand where it just barely ended before clenching it sighing. "Well that sucked, but I guess it's a new scar." he said to the two brothers sitting next to him, Yuudai let out a pity laugh while Yasuo just signed. "Its not funny Shi, you got seriously hurt because of him." every time they met that Gallatin something tried to kill thrm, it was like he was bad luck or something. "Eh" Shi said shrugging before wincing in pain once more. "Hurts to shrug, got it." he mumbled out before standing up.
As he did this something ran up behind him and grabbed him, he quickly turned around to see a little girl, Shi turned fully around now recognizing this girl as his little sister. "What are you doing here? Better question is how?" Shi asked bending over waiting for her to respond but he only got a slight chuckle out of her before sudden relization came to him, he quickly backed up just before the girl who looked like his sister swiped at him with a claw. One of those phony Holo suits again, the girl slowly shifted before becoming a weird looking digimon. A Dorugoruamon. Shi slowly backed up as the brothers stepped forward defensively.

It was a pretty normal day for Maia and her Digimon. Kuu was sprawled across his tamer's shoulders, humming, "noodles, noodles, noodles," to some unknown tune. This wasn't surprising at all, considering he had recently visited a noodle shop and happily devoured a bowl of mostly sugar. His tamer wasn't even making him stop his horrible song. Hey, at least he was keeping out of trouble!
"So, we ate," the girl recapped, pulling out her phone to look at the time. No texts. Well, apparently, it was going to be a slow day. "Anything that you'd like to see today?"
This finally stopped the song from the fox, as he tilted his head, looking to the sky. "The moon," was his first response. That didn't seem very likely! On top of that, why? As Maia went to open her mouth, Kuu found himself interrupting whatever thoughts she may have, "I smell-" There was a small grumble in the Digimon's throat, as he puffed up a little. "Shi?"
Weird reaction to smelling someone that they got along with. "Are you positive?" After all, he didn't sound too confident that it was the older teen!
Ears twitched rapidly, pointing his nose in the direction of the unknown events. "I dunno! I smell dinosaurs! Let's see!" While Maia normally wouldn't be so interested, her partner seemed to be acting oddly toward the entire thing. Nearing the trio, it seemed that a few nearby Digimon had already started to back away from the area. Pushing past a couple of Champion-level monsters, the girl stumbled a bit, only to pause. Voicing both of their thoughts, Kuu was quick to open his mouth with, "what's going on?"

Shi didn't even care about the crowd now forming around them. "Again? What do you want with me." Shi asked the large towering beast that had just tried to kill him. "Honestly this is getting tireing. Why try and kill me. Why try and kill anyone what the hell is your problem." Shi calmly asked as the large Dragon thing just looked at him.
"Not as talkative as the last bunch. Fine then I'll just destroy you." his choice of wording felt a bit off to the brothers, so much they looked back at the teen. And man did Shi look pissed off, which was surprising given how calm and collected he had always been. "Shi what's wrong?"Yasuo asked calmly but Shi just snapped. "Nothing. I, I just hate these guys, attacking Isaac and Elliot like that. Framing me. I just." Shi paused for a moment before silently saying. "I want them dead, I don't want them to come back I want them dead."
The large Dragon like beast kept looking at them, he was confused himself they had said a calm teenager, this one looked ready to burst. Just then something slowly signed on Who's Digivice a few moments before akin to the dark light that shined a black one slowly engulfed the area. "I want him dead so hurry up and kill him." Shi ended his sentence fed up with this. Shi didn't want to fight anyone everything kept forcing him to fight and get stronger to just save people, now he wasn't fighting to save anyone. He was just fighting to kill.
Yasuo and Yuudai quickly formed together but instead of saying their normal evolution they both said in unison in a chill dark voice. "Dark Twin Evolution." After that the same energy snapped back to Who's divisive causing him to drop is and a large crack to appear on the screen with a massive error symbol on it. Shi looked down and back up seeing something that made his heart drop. Standing there wasn't Shine or War. Standing there, was only one digimon. A BlackWarGreymon. Similar to the ones he had fought before.

This seemed weird. What was with the dragon? And, why did Shi seem so irritant? Obviously, Maia had missed the part where it had attacked him! But, if the crowd was any indicator, something was happening. The tamer managed to keep herself at the front of the crowd, but still out of the way. Normally, this was the kind of thing that she's avoid, but she actually knew someone involved. And, it was really out of place.
Hearing what Shi was saying caused her mouth to open, only to clamp shut. Was this how the sort-of-hero acted when nobody else was around to protect? Even his Digimon looked like they found it out of place! Shi wasn't seriously saying those things, right? Then again, Maia had found herself nearing the end of her own rope on multiple occasions. But, to speak like that? Familiar names had been dropped, but she hadn't heard anything about the entire situation, to her knowing. What framing? What had happened with Elliot and Isaac?
"What?" The girl mumbled, feeling Kuu tense, pressing close to her neck. This seemed all too weird. And unreal! Taking a step forward, she found herself staring up at a far less pleasant looking Digimon. The dark coloring felt out of place with Yasuo and Yuudai. "Shi," she finally spoke up, trying to catch the teen's attention. "What's happening?" Was this normal for him, or was he going off the deep end?
Kuu's eyes were glued to Black WarGreymon, seeming to try to process the entire situation. "He got big," the rookie pointed out. "Think they broke something?"

Of course Elliot and Isaac were going to notice a Mega attacking in the middle of a crowded city. Who wouldn't? The main question was whether they wanted to get involved or not. The past few days had taken a ton out of them, with school days being followed up by regular expeditions to the Northern Prominence to investigate the Digimon attacking Shi. Isaac hadn't slept well in days. Elliot hadn't fared much better, even if he was always sent home before things got too bad. Regardless, the brothers were clearly running on empty. Seeing a Digimon far above their weight class attacking Terminus, they were forced to question whether intervention was really worth it. Would they even be able to give it their all? Or was it just going to get them all killed. Elliot cast a worried glance towards the battlefield, while Isaac tried to just move along quickly.
Then they noticed just who was there. Not just Shi, but Maia too. And where Yuudai and Yasuo were once standing, something far different was taking form. Elliot stepped back in shock as he saw the same beast that Shi had described to him before, BlackWargreymon. What was happening? Why did the two Agumon fuse into that, instead of just going Mega like before? Elliot had a really bad feeling about this, and Isaac wasn't much more optimistic. He started making his way to the battlefield, drawing his Digivice.
That was what brought Sandiramon and Orochimon back onto the battlefield. The two snakes slid into view, Elliot protectively sitting before Shi and Isaac taking guard in front of Maia. They may not have been the strongest, but they were big and intimidating. They would at least be able to help take some blows for the two humans if they got caught in the crossfire of the dueling dragons. "Shi, what's wrong? Are Yuudai and Yasuo okay?" There was panic in the snake's wide eyes.
"Jeez, a fight in the middle of Terminus? This is new. You two keeping safe?" Isaac asked, the worry in his voice clear even through the monotony of his puppet heads.

To be honest Shi didn't hear Maia, he didn't hear Isaac or Elliot as they talked to him. He wasn't paying attention to them. He couldn't pay attention to them since his focus was all on the thing in front of him. BlackWarGreymon. Slowly realisation dawned on Shi. He recalled the conversation he had with Yuudai so many months before about this. Shi had promised he wasn't the same nor would he ever be the same as that beat they fought.
Yet here he was standing. The beast that they had destroyed before, and again later. The one that forced them to bring out everything they had or face obliteration was standing right there in front of him. As if this wasn't enough Shi was hit with a wave of things he had never felt before. Anger, regret, sadness, madness and worst of all. Worst of all he was afraid. Shi slowly sank to his knees unable to bare the weight of what he just did to his partners, his brothers. The ones he promised would never become that mindless killing machine.
"I, I can't. I have to undo this." Shi said reaching out shaking my towards his digivice that sat on the ground. With a very unstedy hand he slowly picked it up holding it close. "Twin DNA cancel." He whispered silently almost like a prayer wanting to be heard. "Twin DNA cancel." He said louder but also giving sight to his shaken voice. "Please, I'm sorry, please don't do this." he asked something, whatever gave him this power in the first place he was silently asking to not do this, to not take his partners away.
Sadly this was no story, they didn't just wake up due to the apology. The BlackWarGreymon stood staring at the large Dragon digimon in front of him As it slowly built up a large barrier around himself deciding to test this digimon. The large dark Mega didn't even think ahead before rushing forward in a blind fury wilding swinging at the dragon, despite settling up a guard the wild feral swings of the Mega was far to much and due to the claws he possesed the black enigma smashed through the barrier as some of it slowly formed into a dark energy and went into the claws of the dark one.

Shi's lack of response hadn't helped ease Maia's concerns at all. And, as two snake monsters made their way to assess the problem, it became more clear that everything wasn't alright. Kuu didn't seem to mind, though, looking to Elliot and Isaac. "Elliot! Shi broke! How do we fix?" Some things just couldn't be fixed, though! Especially not that easily!
Maia managed to tear her eyes away from Shi, to look at the boys. "I don't think Yuudai and Yasuo are alright at all," she answered, pulling Kuu off of her shoulder. The fox drooped in her hands, flailing his paws as if he was trying to run on the air. Silly Digimon! He couldn't run like that! Letting go of her grip, the rookie was released, tumbling toward the ground. There was no clatter of his cartridge hitting the ground, as four paws touched down instead. Oh, look at that, he had digivolved to Reppamon already. Was Maia seriously that concerned over the situation? Though, really, what could a Champion do for this? At least he could keep his human and maybe Shi out of harm's way, if the snakes somehow failed.
Seeing the other tamer on the ground, pleading with his device, Maia found herself stepping closer to him, reaching out to touch his shoulder. She hadn't ever seen the guy in such a state before. It was kind of crushing! His calm demeanor had kept her own worries in line in the past. How did he seem so broken now? "Shi," the girl spoke in a far more firm tone, trying to snap him into this reality. Still, this was all very alarming! Someone was going to get hurt! As BlackWarGreymon began his attacks, Maia found herself cringing a little. Too much stress and not enough answers! "Y-you have to focus. What is happening?" The hope of him actually answering was pretty slim, but worth a shot. She couldn't just stand there and do nothing, after all!

"I don't know!" Elliot said to Kuu, voice quivering with worry. "I . . . I . . ." He tried to think of anything else to say to Kuu, but he was freezing up badly. He didn't think he would be able to fix Shi properly. He didn't even properly understand what was going on! Yasuo and Yuudai had fused into a colossus he didn't even stand a chance of stopping, and if they weren't going to listen to Shi would they listen to anybody else? Any attempt at helping, beyond keeping a watch over the two powerless humans down below, would just bring more danger. If anything it made him thankful that DexDorugoramon was there; even if he couldn't fight off the Digimon, at least it was something else to distract BlackWarGreymon from Shi.
He settled for turning to face Shi, worriedly placing the tip of his tail on the boy's shoulder to try and comfort him. "Shi. Shi, please," he said, trying to turn his fearful voice into something gentle and reassuring. He sure as heck wasn't succeeding. "I don't know what's going on, but I know it wasn't you. Shi, you're a really great guy. It'll be okay. We'll find a way to fix everything. I promise." If anything, he seemed to be trying to reassure himself as much as he was trying to reassure Shi. It was clear from the wide-eyed, fearful look on his face that it wasn't working.
Shi had cracked, Elliot was melting, and Maia was completely freezing up. With everybody else out of commission, Isaac new that somebody had to step up to the plate. It was time for him to be the hope that everyone could latch onto, at least for a little bit. "We need to get everyone as far from here as possible. Two megas fighting could get a lot of people caught up in the crossfire. Maia, Kuu, I need you two to help me lead the way." It was a distraction, something they could occupy their hands with, while at the same time a way of keeping everyone safe. The Orochimon rose high into the air, calling out in eight booming voices. "Everyone! Follow me, nice and orderly, and I'll make sure you all make it out of this okay." With that the Orochimon stood and waited, hoping to rally as many to his side as possible. He couldn't risk them spilling out into the streets in a panicked mob, so many being hurt along the way.

Shi slowly realized what was around him As the two talked to him. He ally breathed in a deep breath before getting back up eyes closed hat covering most of his face. "What's happening is I've messed up greatly. Yasuo, Yuudai. Elliot you're wrong, i, I caused that." Shi said silently pointing at the large black version of his Mega. "My hate for that opponent. My inner rage somehow forced them to become that and broke my digivice. This is all my fault." he said his voice full of regret and sadness. He let his arm fall to his side before taking a step forward.
"I have to stop this." he said clenching his hand into a fist the other one firmly around his digivice. "Sadly, I think I'm the only one who can." he said before taking a few more steps forward. He stopped and looked at his broken digivice for a few moments. "I have to undo this somehow." Despite saying this he sounded unsure and one thing stood in his voice that has never been before. He sounded afraid of this.
Everyone had already started leaving without Isaac saying anything. It was a bit panicked but people left leaving the Mega alone, they knew this wasn't something they should get involved with. The black enigma dashed forward bashing the large digimon with his shoulder. He threw his claw up stabbing straight through his side before stabbing the other through the Dragon multiple times hitting the building behind him.
The large digimon struggled and managed to shake him off spinning him around before pinning him to the wall. Slowly being engulfed in a dark power the Mega built up a powerful dark flame and launched it point blank at the large metal digimon. But he slowly noticed as he did this burn marks appeared on him and he quickly had to stop due to the pain of the reversal added with the stab wounds. Black took this chance and bashed him away with his claws.

"That can happen?" Maia had never heard of such a thing. Eyes shifted to Kuu, trying to think of if something like that would ever happen to her own Digimon. How did anger affect the monsters so much? There was too much that the tamer didn't know about these monsters.
Instead of meeting his tamer's eyes, the champion turned his head to look at BlackWarGreymon. Then again, it wasn't like he could really make eye contact with her, anyway. He had a mask on! But, it did set a form of unease into the girl's stomach. Was Kuu aware of situations like this? Though, having only been born in her house, he couldn't know much more than she did, right? With the crashing, Maia cringed, "they're going to destroy Terminus if they keep this up too long."
Hearing Isaac's plan, Kuu began to shake his head. "Nu-uh!" What a defiant little monster! "Yasuo and Yuudai need us here," he insisted. Did they really? Because it seemed pretty obvious that they didn't seem in a mood to want anyone nearby. With the destruction that this would cause, surely, the monster really didn't want to have a tea party and chat.
Eyes were on Shi, though, as far as Maia was concerned. At least there didn't seem to be much for stragglers, and she trusted Isaac to handle them if need be. What could she really do to help, anyway? "Shi, do you have a plan to fix this? Or are you just going to get in his way and get stepped on?" The latter was what Maia was most concerned about.

"It's okay," Elliot said. There were no two words in the English language that more clearly indicated that Elliot had no idea what to say more than those two. Nevertheless, he steeled himself and kept on trying. "I mean, it's not okay. But I know you didn't mean it, and I know Yasuo and Yuudai know you didn't either. Look, you're already trying to make things better! They're gonna see that you care for sure, and that's really important. Please, just don't beat yourself up over it.
Wait! This is based on your emotion, right?" Elliot asked, an idea suddenly popping into his head. "Maybe the best thing you can do is not do anything at all?" That earned a strange look from Isaac. "No, no, I mean just try and calm down. Maybe if there's no negativity to feed off of, it'll all burn out and then they can rest."
Elliot didn't want to consider what the alternative would be. He and Kuu were definitely not strong enough to handle this on their own.
Isaac wasn't a saint, and he sure as hell wasn't a martyr. He already knew how this was going to play out; a lot of begging and getting their asses kicked the second that DexDorugoramon fell. It was part of why he had tried to lead Maia and Kuu away with his previous plan, as well as any civilians that would be caught in the crossfire. It seemed nobody else was aboard that plan, though, and that meant he was stuck there. "I gotta be honest, I don't really see much we can do," he said, voice laced with frustration at his own ineptitude. "There's no way we're strong enough to keep them busy if things get ugly, and I don't know if any of us but Shi can manage to reach them. Right now, getting somewhere where we can't be stomped is top priority. I don't even want to know what could happen if Shi gets hurt."

Shi couldn't even look Elliot in the face. "Only it is my fault, I did mean this. Not this exactly but I meant what I felt, the anger hatred I meant all of that, all of that was me I can't lie and say I was just confused." Shi said but instead of his voice being empty it was all just full of regret. "And I am calm now, no not calm I'm full or regret. I, I just want my brothers back, it can't be stopped that easily even I can see that.
Shi closed his eyes before letting out a sigh. "There's only one thing I can think of. Somehow we have to get him to waste all his power. Even after transforming into Mega they can never hold the form for long, we don't have to beat him we just have to outlast him. Or maybe we can make them realize? Its still them so maybe I just need something to get them back to normal." Shi said giving everything he can to think of a plan. "I, I can't ask you guys to help me with this, honestly doubt I deserve it but please help me get them back." Shi quietly asked, he wasn't used to asking for help from anyone.
The Digimon was holding his own pretty well against the Mega. He charged up a crazy amount of dark power before firing it off at the dark digimon. The dark one quicopy dashed forwad getting hit vy attack and walking forward before bashing the Mega with his shoulder. and slashing him once again with the claws restoring some of his vitality. Nothing was getting that damaged yet though hopefully it would stay that way.

Post by Gallatin on May 28, 2016 19:03:02 GMT
Gallatin for once had been having a nice week. He had met a sweet little girl, had broken his legs and survived an avalanche, had gotten his spirits, had been accepted into Dats, got a sweet new IC Digivice to let him do awesome D.A.T.S. stuff when used with his regular one, all in all it was a good week. *Sigh* why didn't he see something like this happening after such a good week.
He had been taking a stroll, er-well "wheel", through Terminus city and was just getting used to his wheelchair. It was a nice enough day until an explosion sounded in the distance that rumbled the ground around them. Window panes shattered and dust rose as the ground began vibrating fiercely. "What the hell was that?!" He yelled while struggling to not fall out of his wheelchair in surprise.
"Probably a digimon. Mega by the power of that explosion." ShadowGallatin contributed inside the confines of Gallatin's head, obviously itching to fight. "Wanna fight i-um i mean wanna check it out?"
"Hell no!" Gallatin yelled out at just the though. "I'm crippled, and you are most likely going to find a way to control my body if I get angry enough. Then someone's going to end up dying and it'lll be my fault." His dark doppelganger tended to emerge in his darkest moments fittingly, which almost every time so far has ended up with Gallatin killing someone. Not only that, but he actually didn't feel bad about doing it every time! If letting his evil self emerge was making him more and more evil, then it might be best not to fight a lot. "Besides, it's probably going to be taken care of by the offici-"
He never got to finish his sentence as a crowd of people began rushing in a crowd towards what was happening. "God damn it!" He screamed in outrage as his wheelchair was pushed forward by the oncoming throng of people. "Hey, stop! Let me out!" His pleas fell on deaf ears as he was forced into the accident site, worst of all was the fact though that he couldn't stop even after he had been freed from the crowd. Gallatin frantically pulled on the emergency breaks of his chair on the side, only for them to not stop his moment quick enough.
His chair flew into the air after going over a broken chunk of the ground, sending his chair directly at a group of people standing next to what looked to be a black version of Wargreymon fighting some other digimon. However, there wasn't really any time for Gallatin to properly identify these digimon as he was still uncontrollably sailing forward.
His eyes focused on one of the people that was in front of him... It was Shi, Maia, and two other people that he didn't know! Pulling with all of his might at on the break with one hand while trying to slow down his wheel with the other, Gallatin's chair slowly ceased its speed and landed him a few meters in front of Shi. Letting out a sigh of relief, Gallatin took a moment to finally look at his surroundings. He looked at the 2 digimon fighting as information flowed into his brain.
"BlackWargreymon... Its a DNA..." Gallatin murmured out loud. The enemy digimon was also a mega level digimon called Dorugoruamon. He place a palm on his head before he realized after putting together 2 and 2. Shi was here, but no Yasuo and Yuudai. There was a rampaging DNA BlackWarGreymon... "Yasuo and Yuudai.... Shi, please tell me that's not them?" He asked as his eyes landed on the distraught face of the senior tamer. If Shi, who had been able to keep a straight face in basically every bad situation, was this troubled, then this situation was not good.

Maia threw a glance to Isaac, frowning. If he wasn't stuck as a snake, with likely no access to his texts, she would have sent him one to just avoid hurting anyone's feelings. Why stay there? Because she could easily figure that Shi wasn't moving. "If Kuu was the one rampaging, I wouldn't be leaving him," she pointed out, trying to ignore the fact that, at that moment, the stupid Champion was trying to stretch himself to bite the scythe on his tail. At least he wasn't running in circles chasing it. Yet.
"I don't think we should try the 'make them realize' option! It doesn't work like the T.V. says," the fox insisting, finally looking away from his tail. "We gotta call the company and complain. That's false advertising." At least nobody would mistake Kuu for ever being actually helpful, but he kind of had a point. If someone walked up saying that they were Yasuo and Yuudai's friend at this moment, Maia certainly didn't think they'd care to listen. Squash first, maybe examine later?
Either way, Shi was clearly having a hard time here. "I don't know about anyone else, but I owe you for a few different times," the blonde noted, chewing on her lip. "So we'll do whatever we can."
...And then Gallatin joined the scene. Amber eyes flickered to the unwelcome sight, feeling the frown deepen across her lips. "Oh. You're still alive," she mumbled, almost irritated. "Great. This is going to end up going much better with you here." Oh, the sarcasm was caustic! But, Maia didn't have time to be bitter toward all of the horrible things she'd been hearing about the dumb guy. The BlackWarGreymon was priority here. So, she turned her head away from the boy.
Kuu turned his masked face to stare at the newest person to the scene, simply shouting, "Gelatin!" Still the wrong name! Oh well! Gelatin probably smelled better! "We've heard mean things about you!" Well, at least that might fill the poor teen in on the tamer's short attitude with him!
"Do you think they'll tire out from fighting that other Digimon?" Unlikely, but one could hope, right?

Isaac sighed at Maia's response. He knew she wouldn't leave Kuu if he rampaged, but at the same time he knew she wasn't an idiot that would just stand there and get torn to bits instead of getting to safety. Maia and Shi weren't like him and Elliot. If things got bad, the brothers could take it, even if it would tear them apart. The other two? They'd be lucky not to be vaporized by a single hit. The idea of either of them getting hurt because of such stubbornness revolted Isaac, even if he knew they wouldn't be changing their mind. "Can we at least agree to get you two behind cover or something?" he asked, exasperation and fear intermingling in his voice. "A wall? A corner? Anything that won't leave you guys right out in the open?" He had no illusions that a wall would be enough to keep BlackWarGreymon away, but at least it would drastically reduce the odds of them being the first things Yasuo and Yuudai saw.
Whereas Isaac tried to handle Shi's physical safety, Elliot tried to look after his emotional safety. Considering the breakdown he was in right now, it wouldn't be easy. "We all have our moments where we want to lash out," Elliot said. "When I found out I could never go back home, I kicked and I screamed and I yelled and I ran as far as I could. And . . . " He fought to try and let the words come out, even as he started misting up. "I hated mom, and I hated Isaac. I knew it wasn't their fault, but I just couldn't stop it. And I felt so awful afterwards.
I know you need that time to hate yourself. But please, don't lose yourself to it."
Isaac's jaws hung low. All eight of them. What the heck did he just hear? Nevertheless, he turned his attention back to Shi. "If we didn't make it obvious before, we're in," he said. "We promised we'd help look out before, and we're not letting a damn thing change that." He just hoped Shi would get behind some proper cover, first!
And then someone else cam wheeling in. Isaac wanted to groan so badly when he saw that the crowds everyone previously indicated were under control were now going in all the wrong directions. Great! Just great! Now there was an injured civilian dropped right on their laps! By this point it was too late to try and divert traffic again, so it seemed the group was just going to have to deal with this little wrinkle. And, judging by Maia's reaction, this wasn't just any injured civilian. It was an injured civilian that also messed things up with his idiocy a bunch of times prior. Just perfect. "Get to cover, too," he warned, cautious due to previous mention of the Arukenimon incident. "I don't know how much longer these two will fight for, but I don't want the winner to notice an injured person first thing after."
"Don't worry," Elliot said, far more understanding in this case than his brother. "We won't let anything bad happen to you, I promise."
