Sanoske scratched his head nervously, coming to the conclusion that he was one of the ones who ticked off the hylden inside Cuttah. In his desperation to try to make Pure... pure again, he ended up making Celeste angry about her time being wasted.
^Well... I kind of feel like excrement right now...^
However, Lezard seemed unfazed by the outburst. Admittedly, it was partially because he was used to Cuttah's outbursts, and given that Celeste was using Cuttah's body and voice little else was changed.
"That could have gone better. I guess, for the time being, we'll hold off on plans while everyone cools off."
Cuttah began to walk off by herself once more. However, after a few steps she looked at the others.
"If he would... I would like Mel to come along, but I'm going to talk to Celeste as well."

Pure looked around at the others real quick before returning his attention solely on Cuttah. "Uhh... Sure. Just give us a sec." The terriermon then took a deep breath as the two minds within him switched controls.
With Mel now in control, he followed after Cuttah. "So what do you want?" He asked the Gabumon varient bluntly. Curious to know why exactly she wanted to speak to him of all people alone.
Crystal frowned as she watched Mel walk off with Cuttah. Still not liking the idea of Mel walking off with Pure's body like that. Yet, knowing Cuttah, this was probably something important to her. So the Lopmon decided to keep any complaints to herself.
"So what do you think they are going to talk about?" She asked out loud. The question not really for any specific one of them.

Sanoske growled, unable to figure what they could be talking about. But his initial thoughts did match up with what Lezard would say.
"To be honest... I haven't the slightest clue as to what Cuttah would want with Mel. Celeste I get... but not Mel.
As for Celeste, probably to appease her given her reaction to our actions.
I guess we should go do... whatever we want to kill time. Hopefully Rippah and Tab will return soon. Shouldn't be too hard, Tab's staying over at Lilly's, and what better advertisement to your restaurant than the smell of food?" -----
Cuttah didn't immediately answer Mel, walking ahead a bit more before sitting down, positioning herself so that the Terriermon wouldn't be downwind of her. A bit nervously, she took a deep breath and spoke.
"Ever since I've spoken to Crystal that one day I had an epiphany of sorts. That, despite how miserable I could be there are ones with astounding issues they have to deal with. Knowing that, I wish to try to be more mindful of others. I don't always remember to do so but, well... I just want to try.
I will get to Celeste eventually, but...
Well, I'm not the smartest digimon around... just being around some of you make me feel incredibly stupid. I am not good with words and, um... social interaction. And it's incredibly hard for me to think of a way to say what I want to ask you. So please do not take this the wrong way...
Can you talk to me about why you're an ass?"
She would look at him, hoping he wouldn't take it badly. But she wanted to know about Mel and his actions. Granted a part of her was thinking this would fail. If it did... it did.

Crystal nodded her head in agreement. Hiding a mix of emotions behind a smile as she did.
"Yeah. To be honest I thought they would have made it back here by now." The lopmon then paused as a thought occurred to her, "You don't think they had stopped for a quick bite to eat, do you?" She added, her tone half joking and half serious.
Mel just stood there blinking his eyes a few times, flabbergasted. His head slightly cocked to the side as his brain tried to process what he was just asked.
"I'm sorry, but could you run that by me again? Did you seriously just ask me to tell you why I am an ass?"

Lezard shrugged. "Let them to their time, although if it is lunch then count me out. She might have sneaked in some hot peppers and, while I do like her, she becomes nigh unapproachable wh-... never mind that. I'm not going to worry about it."
The Wizardmon walked off, leaving Sanoske and Crystal alone.
^Are we becoming more and more incapable of staying within a group as time goes on? It seems like an issue.^ --- Cuttah twiddled her thumbs. She didn't look at all angry... it was her usual seemingly-Indifferent expression. She also spoke calmly, actively trying not to sound annoyed or anything on accident.
"I'm not someone who's very good at jokes, either.
But... you are kind of an ass. But brother always told me that everyone needs at least one person who understands. I wouldn't be here is brother wasn't patient with me, and if Crystal wasn't as well.
But... perhaps I am being an idiot for thinking you would talk with me."

Crystal watched as the wizardmon walked off. Not quite sure who he was talking about. Though now that she gave it some thought, she guessed it was probably Cuttah. Actually she was pretty sure it was Cuttah.
Her attention was then dragged back to Sanoske as her boyfriend pointed out a worrying precedent.
"I sure hope not. I rather our group splitting up like this not be a sign of what's to come."
Who was this that Mel was talking to? Because this was definitely not the Cuttah he knew. She was being way to... Nice to him.
"Well I'm not sure what you expect. There isn't exactly some deep emotional story on why I act the way I do. I just do." Mel answered with a shrug, trying to give Cuttah the same curtsey she gave him, "If I had to guess. Perhaps it has something to do with me living most my life in a prison that was slowly trying to kill me with a bunch of lying morons who only truly care about themselves."

Sanoske growled in agreement with Crystal. He figured he was probably thinking too much about things.
^Maybe it is as simple as us being simply a rag-tag bunch of digimon, more or less, just waiting around in a general area.
We might as well try to kill some time as well. Perhaps I can help you practice a bit with your copy ability?^ -------------
"I think I understand. Given how sick brother and Crystal were when they got out I don't think I could attempt to imagine how it would feel like if you were actually stuck there.
Especially since now you're stuck in what I guess is a nicer prison in comparison.
Also... sorry for... you know... that one time. I'm not ignorant of the fact that I'm easily annoyed at times and a bit... bipolar. But I want to be better... I want brother and Lezard to be proud of me. Even if I can't really stand by anyone usually..."
Her tone continued to be warm towards the Hylden. Or at least as warm as Cuttah can manage. She tapped her fingers against the ground a few times, thinking of something to say.
"If you don't mind me asking... how did you get stuck in that... Hylden place anyway?"
(((I myself have a loose story as to how the Hylden area came to be. You just get to choose how much of it Mel would actually know.)))

The lopmon's mood improve at what Sanoske had told her. Feeling a bit better now that she understood that them spreading apart like they were was more because of the nature of the group then any other reason.
"Yeah. Sounds like a good plan." Crystal happily accepted. Really happy to have an opportunity to use her new skill. "How exactly are we going to go about this though?"
"You really are reaching to get to know me, aren't you?" Mel asked with a small chuckle, "I'm afraid that's a story for another day."
The Hylden had no plans on unveiling his past now. Especially not something so personal to someone he barely knew. And right after they had just apologized for trying to shoot him a few days ago. Unfortunately for him...
"It was his fault." Celeste's voice commented within Cuttah's mind. Seemingly not as reluctant to tell the story.
((Could you give me some of the basics to work around with? I honestly have not thought about this part of their back history at all. (Or it was more that I kind of assumed that they were born there.)))

Looking around a bit, Sanoske moved to a more open part of the area they were so Crystal could train.
^We can start simple and work on spacial awareness and more natural movement. While you can not quite see what your copy sees, you can 'know' what it sees. You have felt this, right?^
The large Gazimon seemed eager to teach Crystal. If anyone is going to teach someone about illusions, it might as well be a sentient illusion. ------
Cuttah lowered her head, disappointed, but only briefly. "I understand."
Perhaps she *was* reaching too hard to get to know Mel. Isn't that the point? Cuttah barely knew what she was doing and hoped it all worked out. However, Celeste had chimed in, saying it was Mel's fault. How much of this was a joke and how much of it was serious, Cuttah didn't know...
(((As I said, it's loose.
The Hylden area, one of the more tech-based areas at the time, was an attempt to grant a digimon more power, as well as a means to gain it without worrying about being interrupted, which is why it's in its own separate dimension. However, things didn't turn out well and the whole thing blew up in the faces of not only the digimon involved with its creation, but also some non-involved ones as well.
That is why the area does what it does, it's a faulty version of what it's meant to do, and weaker digimon simply do not have the bodies to withstand it, which is why most just die.
Mel and/or Celeste could have been part of the group that worked on the project, or simply knew about it and were trapped, or they could have entered into it afterwards. All up to you, buddy.)))

Crystal followed Sanoske into the more open part of the room. Listening closely to his advice about controling illusions.
"Kind of. I still prefer to actually see what they are doing though." She told Sanoske, crossing her arms, "Besides. I thought my illusions movement during our game a few days ago was plenty natural."
Mel sighed deeply as he saw the look on Cuttah's face. Scratching the back of his head trying to think what to say next. She was trying to reach out for him. Perhaps he should give her a bone.
"I'm sorry. It's just... Not something I like to think about. I honestly don't remember much of what happened that day, and what little I remember is stuff I regret. And if you know me, you know that's a sign of how bad things went." Mel explain trying to avoid eye contact. His mind filled with visions of the past.
Celeste had went silent out of respect for her brother. He had shown that there was a clear reason why he didn't want to talk about this. So she decided that it was best to leave the matter be unless Cuttah really wanted to know what happened.

Sanoske chuckled before continuing on with his lesson.
^Seeing through the eyes of an illusion is something of a... kind of separate discipline. I could not say whether or not you will be able to see through them, but feeling them is more efficient and doesn't cause as many headaches. And when you must defend yourself, well... Might not want to worry about switching views.
As for the movement... it could use some work. But I will gladly help train you, honey.^
Sanoske laid on the ground on all fours, crossing his arms with one clawed hand stroking his chin.
^Now... let us do a little exercise. First I want you to turn around. Do not worry, I do not intend to surprise you or spook you.^
-------------
Cuttah shook her head. "No, it's fine. I understand that you don't want to tell me. I realize some digimon just have pasts they would rather not bring up.
Anyway... I think that's all I needed to understand you... even if I actually do not know you that well... but I know you just a bit better and... I'm content with that.
Celeste... are you okay as well? The others would still want your help. Even making that portal thing required your brother, Lezard, Burst and that weird Renamon to make quickly. I'm sure they weren't counting you out."

((Sorry about the wait -_-))
Crystal turned herself around at Sanoske's request. Taking a deep breath as she mentally went over what Sanoske had told her. The Lopmon wasn't quite sure what Sanoske exactly meant by 'seeing through their eyes' or 'feeling them', but she'll take his word for it. He is the best illusionist she knew after all.
"So I'm guessing you want me to summon an illusion, right? Try to see if I'm able to move it around the room without physically watching?" She asked, mentally preparing herself for the training that was to come.
Celeste remained silent for a good moment after hearing Celeste apologize for the group. Her mind debating on what exactly it is she should do.
I'm sorry Celeste, yet what they did... It hurt my pride as a scientist. I was one of the leading experts on Hylden/Digimon biology in the Hylden realm. Someone who often helped push the leading edge of science. And yet after requesting my help, they immediately decided to go with someone else when I didn't give them the immediate answer they were looking for.
So it's going to be a while before I'm willing to talk with them again.
"So what is she saying? Has she decided to come out, or is she being stubborn about the whole thing?" Mel then asked, watching Cuttah carefully for any signs of his sister.

Sanoske gave an affirming growl. ^You are on the right track. However, the area you will be moving around is on me. I figured I would give you a more... familiar training ground.^
He offered a slight chuckle; Crystal has laid on his back often enough that he'd like to think that it would be familiar to her.
^Alas, I will not offer you a set of stairs, you will have to have it climb up.^
------ Cuttah listened to Celeste offer her feelings on that matter before Mel spoke up again, asking about his sister.
"Her pride is still hurt. I'm not sure what else to say to her, though..."
For all intents and purposes, Cuttah was trying her best to not be annoyed at Celeste at the moment. She understood why Celeste was mad but this wasn't really the time to hide inside her.
Cuttah took a deep breath... and then yelled out "LEEEZAAAAARRRRRD!!!!" However perhaps she should have warned Mel first...
Some time later, the Wizardmon would come. "Garfieeeeld. But references aside, what is on your mind?"
Although Cuttah's concentration was also a bit derailed. What's a Garfield?

"That doesn't sound... To hard." Crystal's voice betrayed her lack of confidence however. "So I guess I should summon the illusion now."
The lopmon focused herself. Concentrating on the power that Sanoske had given her. Until suddenly a copy of her appeared right before her. Just standing there like it was a lifeless puppet.
Crystal gave a nervous chuckle, "Looks like I'm going need to work on my aim on this as well." She then quickly made the illusion move behind her. Stopping it once it had left her vision.
Taking a deep breath, she began to move the illusion once more, and the results were... Yeah... The illusion moved like it was a glitchy video game character being controled by a blind player.
Mel quickly began to curse his hosts ears after hearing Cuttah's yell. His sensitive ears now aching like crazy despite his belated attempts to cover them. Something that Pure knew he wished Mel was quicker at doing. And even once his ears stopped hurting, their was now this insistent ringing in his left ear. Annoying the hylden to no end.
"I think Cuttah here wants you to apologize to my sis." The terriermon said bluntly as he began to mess with his ear. Trying to see if he couldn't do something to help stop his ear from ringing.

Sanoske watched the copy... move. It was interesting, to say the least.
^Imagine walking with your eyes closed. You have to be more careful about how you move around, but it is possible.
Your copy is an extension of yourself and how you interact with things. If it helps you, try doing the same, walking with your eyes closed. Take that feeling and apply it to your new twin. When you climb, imagine scaling a steep hill, where the grass is tall enough for you grab onto.^ ----
Lezard briefly glanced over at Mel, as did Cuttah, who saw him fiddle with his ear before rubbing her temples.
"I'm sorry, Mel. I wasn't thinking... looks like there's two senses I can offend."
She sighed and looked at Lezard again. "I admit I was a bit hasty, but please do not think you, Celeste, were rendered inconsequential. While I do not want to involve Karen into this... you and Karen are the best bets. Plus, Karen *does* have a means of scanning Digimon data, which will save you some work.
Karen was one of the ones who helped with building the portal that allowed us to save you, and this situation is not unknown by her. So, let me ask you... are you willing to work with Karen?
But, remember, it has to be after Tab comes back and gives you your new body if you do. I know Cuttah doesn't really like the human world and, uh... might have had a series of traumatic events there due to her gas.
Oh, and you're getting a new body, Celeste. We've been waiting for not only you, but someone else to create a new body."
Cuttah looked down at the ground. As much as she hated to admit it given the situation, Lezard was right. She would be more of a liability
