Oboro was focused on the fight, but his attention was quickly broken when Tetsu and Gryz quite literally crashed into the room. His friend was saying something about purifying the enemies, which didn't make any sense to Oboro.
"How do we do that?" he asked.
Meanwhile, Ikkakumon wasn't really faring well against the enemies. While, technically, he was on all fours and wouldn't really be knocked down by Minotaurmon's attack, the force was enough to knock around some rocks and strike him. However, Ikkakumon didn't retaliate, as he was waiting to hear about this, "purifying" option.

OOC: Okay, sorry that it's come to another one of these posts, but, it seems that we've stalled again, so, we have to keep this moving somehow.
- Leon and Tsukaimon can post at any time they wish now for this round.

Kan noted that his barrage for the most part was something the Minotaurmon was able to take with gutso. Something that surprised him considering the direct difference between his level and their's, once again however he figured it had to do with the corruption that was no doubt firmly bedded into their person. He wasn't too terribly happy with the fact his bone was disintegrated into dust; that made it impossible to use the move again after the next time around. He wasn't given much time to lament the loss however when the Minotaurmon slammed their arm onto the ground and bellowed out an attack.
Shaking the room, which of course in proxy made the large digital spirit stagger and fall to one knee. Earth was certainly something that was stronger here; which made sense considering they were underground. Made him a little frustrated when the other summoned re-enforcement. This just made it boring, made the fact that they were fighting kind of a moot point. Standing up almost as though insulted he dusted off his chest and legs, eyeing the pair he'd shake his head.
What was he supposed to do? He mused briefly about continuing the fight but that would just simply drag on and on. That and it seemed that he was the only one that was all right with fighting this digimon. He didn't want to cause this expedition to fail from infighting as problematic the conversations had been. Sighing softly he'd stare firmly at the two before taking a couple steps back.
"I'm done. You two are boring me and my spirit."
He'd cross his arms and glance back at the others; a massive frown splitting his lips. He was hoping that they could of simply fought it out, without the need for summoning aide. He didn't really count the others so much in this fight; considering most of them sat at rookie from what he could tell.
"Do what you will, if things go south I will end them swiftly, re-enforcement's or not."

OOC: Posting now. Leon and Tsukaimon had their chance.
The arrival of the Grizzmon came as something of a surprise to the Golemon, given that him hurtling into it made it stagger backward and fall down. It was unable to make a move this turn. The Gotsumon meanwhile, seemed to be powered by the corruption source still, both aiming their fists.
The two of them fired rocks at two targets. One at Tsukaimon, one at Leon. But this would be the only combatative action done this round.
Minotaurmon and Grumblemon, both nursing wounds sustained in combat, were somewhat confused at the state of things. The onslaught from the intruders had ceased. This was... most unlike what happened normally. Most intruders to this temple either fought to the death or ran away. These travellers seemed to be ceasing for some reason.
For this, the two digimon ceased attacking. Their attention was fixed instead on Tetsu.
"...What you do?" Grumblemon asked. He didn't seem completely soulless like the Gotsumon were. There seemed to be... something. Deep down.
Grumblemon and Minotaurmon stop attacking for this round.
Minotaurmon is under effect of Anger of the Land [1 turn remaining]. Minotaurman is under effect of Gaia Fortify [1 turn remaining].
Gotsumon D fires Angry Rock at Tsukaimon. Gotsumon E fires Angry Rock at Leon. Golemon is knocked down this turn and does not attack.

Tetsu grits his teeth and almost wanted to cuss. Does people only think of battle as the only way to do it? Boring when lives are involved? The more he think of that, the more he wanted to push his own agenda to cure them from this madness. He turned to his jogress partner. "...I guess I only have you to help me, Partner," he told him. "You, Ikkakumon and Gryz..." the bear was still disorientated, and he managed to knock the Golemon over. The Digimon doesn't attack, but that didn't made him to breathe in relief...
yet, when he heard the Grottemon talk, he felt like there is a hope. Even in this hopeless situation, he felt like can win. even when it's just four of them of them... "I READ IT!" he addressed the two, the Minotaurmon and the Grottemon both, while lifting the journal he found overhead. "You're here... a pair of Ogremon and Goblimon, two of you... you're here to save your sister, didn't you!? Shamamon, that's what is she isn't she!? I have no idea what happened to your sister... but now... we're here to break you free from this senseless corruption! That's why... that's why, please, remember and hang on to that sanity! Don't get swept so easily by this corruption that should have been your true enemy!"
It was a plea from the heart. Gryz quickly regained his full control over his body.
He got no time to waste, none at all. Ignoring his smarting body, Gryz began to meditate and tossed healing energy, the mercy from the Mother Gaia toward the Grottemon first. He's not sure he can cure the Minotaurmon in one go.
"Ikkakumon, if the Minotaurmon disrupt me, stop him, but don't harm him to much!" Gryz called out

Oboro was still struggling to focus on what was going on around him, so while the action had stalled momentarily, Ikkakumon turned to his partner, who was borderline ignoring Tetsu.
"Hey, Oboro," he said, "this is pretty important. I'm gonna need you to focus as much as you can, okay?"
Oboro nodded. He still didn't seem to really get what the two of them had gotten into, but Tetsu was counting on them! He couldn't let his new friend down! "I'm ready!" he assured Tetsu and their Digimon.
Gryz seemed to be attempting to use his healing technique on the enemies, but asked Ikkakumon to cover him just in case. "You got it!" The Champion-level Digimon agreed. He stood firm, ready to step into action if he needed to.

Really sorry :s
At the stairway Tsukaimon saw Grys falling down while his tamer was balancing on him like a ball. Even in a dangerous situation like this one, he couldn't help but laugh in his loudest tone at Grys' misery. It was just that hilarious, at least for Tsukaimon. He then listened to Tetsu saying that they where corrupted, strangely he did not seem surprised at all by this fact. He had just read it a moment before but didn't care at all about deleting innocents not to mention that he wanted to keep some information for himself. "So? Got any plan circus clown?"
Apparently karma wasn't a good friend of Tsukaimon for at that moment a giant rock hit him from behind, causing him to fall down at the ground face first. Something that angered him a lot. He didn't seem to notice the Golemon either because of that. "Who did that!"
Tsukaimon is hit by Gotsumon D Darkside Quake does not work on Tsukaimon since he’s airborne.

The fact that niether of the Gotsumons or the large Golemon didn't bother to attack him in favor of the others was a mix of frustrating and surprising. Though with the latter of the three being knocked over by one of his "companions" didn't really surprise him. This was until a few moments ago a little more than an active fight.
Though the three of them had been summoned in such a manner that likely meant they wouldn't be able to be purified like the others if that was even possible for the moment. There wasn't much he could say to the others immediately; he didn't really feel as though he needed to explain to them either that the fight wasn't going to end in sunshine and rainbows if those three were allowed to move around and fight.
Not wishing to risk hitting the Golemon and an ally at the same time he lifted his arm, one finger pointing out menacingly. A little orb flaring to life at the end of it. He'd shake his large head and sigh; the Flash orb rocketing forward towards Gotsumon[E].
"Can't forget about these three..."

Grumblemon and Minotarumon stared at the boy that was speaking to them. Read it? Something deep within them was familiar with this kind of talk. An Ogremon and Goblimon? That... that sounded familiar. Both of them grumbled and shivered a little. What was this kid doing? They were about to react aggressively when they heard the word that froze them both.
Shamamon.
Their sister... the one they had entered this ruin to try and save. A bargain had been reached, if they could only reach the treasure at the heart of this temple, they could save their sister. And they did, but... they had been taken over; corrupted.
How long ago had that been? Was Shamamon even still alive? But... what good did it do now? She was probably dead, and they were both lost forever. Even if they remembered, what good would it do if neither of them could control what their bodies were now doing?
That was... until they were washed with the light of the goddess of the temple. This Gryzmon, how could he have this power? The effect was as if the both of them had been encased in dried mud, only to have water wash over them, washing the dirt and filth away. They yelled and fell to the ground as the effects of the corruption gradually washed away. Black data was washed from them in waves, until, eventually, the forms of a green Ogremon and Goblimon were laid down on the ground, groaning and trying to regain their senses. For the moment, they could do little else but slowly see the situation around them.
Then, the surging core of black-purple energy suddenly erupted with a fury. One of the Gotsumon was then abruptly destroyed by Kan's attack. But there were still two digimon remaining in the room under its direct control. The Golemon slammed the ground with its fists, and a wall of black stone erupted in front of the corrupted core, protecting it from direct attack... at least so it seemed. A closer look would reveal that one of the shields around the core had dissipated, given that it no longer had the control of digicores to power it.
The second Gotsumon meanwhile caught on to the actions of the Gryzmon, and aimed an attack at him.
Regardless, it seemed like this conflict would come to an end soon.
- Minotarumon has de-digivolved to Ogremon, and has ceased hostility. - Grumblemon has de-digivolved to Goblimon, and has ceased hostility.
- Gotsumon E has been destroyed. - Gotsumon D fires an Angry Rock at Gryz. - Golemon uses Earthen Wall to protect the Corrupted Core.
Earthen Wall: A barrier of rock that protects against up to 3 Rookie and 2 Champion level projectile attacks. 1 Perfect or Mega attack will shatter it instantly. Melee attacks can go around it, and area-of-effect attacks can strike behind it with 75% effectiveness. [Cooldown: 3 turns].

It worked! Tetsu cannot help but to jump in joy for his little victory. Gryz too felt happy, but this is not the time to celebrate just yet. "Ikkakumon, get ready, we'll level the rest!" he told his jogress partner. He needed to destroy them, and currently it's easy enough to not use Jogress... or so he hope. But the orb is getting nonplussed, or at least, that's what he thought. The big bear Digimon swatted aside an angry rock... albeit it made his paw smarting. He cannot heal at this moment, not with how he already used his heal.
He was about to toss it to Tsukaimon when he himself got hit by the attack. Good riddance.
Because he's not a friend, Gryz did not gain any strength boost. He instead charged toward the Golemmon and attacked..
"ATEMIGAESHI!"
Gryz stood on his hind leg and did what could be described as a palm strike, aimed toward the Golemmon's body, hoping that it's enough to knock it back again.
Atemigaeshi:
Mauls an opponent with his paws coated in golden aura. If an ally is attacked, add half of the damage done to the said ally as strength boost to this attack then counterattacks the said enemy. Cooldown for a turn.

Kan glanced at the pair of digimon that were once the Minotaurmon and the grumblemon. So the plan that the kid had come up with worked, and the whole peaceful route was well established for it. He could sense that there'd be some frustrating talk later and he'd likely be the center of it. Well no matter, that portion of the job was done, figuring out how to deal with the guards. Now all they needed to do was deal with the item that sat there protected by these other earthen digimon.
One of them fired an angry rock at the one who had just managed to finish this fight. He could feel the anger rise up and he was a little too slow to get inbetween it and the bear. It was near the end of this journey and the fact that this creature had healing abilities made this easier. This was the sort of time where people let down their guard and that would only buck and rise as the problem was still there.
He'd frown a little bit when he noted that barrier of rock between them and the core; that thing was paltry. He could likely shatter it without problem. Probrably draw the wrath of the two remaining digimon. But honestly if those two were out of the way? They'd have an easier time of things.
He'd lower his head, set his stance firmly before his horns started to extend. And before long the spirit was charging forward towards the remaining Gotsumon. Wether or not he hit, he'd still growl a quip.
Once these are dealt with, that core is the next on the list...

Oboro quickly managed to assess the situation and was immediately ready to direct Ikkakumon. It seemed that if the situation called for it, he could really be focused and attentive! "Ikkakumon, take out that rock guy!"
Though Ikkakumon was already planning on attacking, it took him a minute to process which "rock guy" his Tamer was referring to. He eventually settled on assisting Gryz with the Golemon and readied an attack. "Heat Top!" Ikkakumon suddenly sailed through the air, looking quite nimble for someone of his aquatic persuasion. He was fully prepared to land top-down on the Golemon as Gryz was also attacking. With any luck they'd crush the enemy!
Oboro frowned. That wasn't the rock guy he was talking about at all!

Tsukaimon is known for many things but keeping his temper in control was not such a one of them. That Gotsumon had offended him personally by throwing a rock on him when he wasn't looking, never mind that such cheap move was the primary reason why he was even remotely dangerous for the time being. The amazing transformation of the Grumblemon and Minotaurmon didn't interest him one bit as he glared at Gotsumon.
"You don't hit someone when they turn their back. Die!" Apparently that rule only counts if tsukaimon is on the receiving end. Nevertheless he opened his mouth and spit a fireball towards Gotsumon D just as it launched a rock.

Golemon was too heavy and slow to avoid the attacks of the angry Gryzmon and Ikkakumon. Both attacks slammed into him, shattering him into pieces that disappeared into the corrupted mist of data that coated the floor. That was one down.
Next, the combined attacks of Kan and Tsukaimon were easily enough to immediately finish off the remaining Gotsumon, and he suffered the same fate as every obsidian Gotsumon the group had encountered.
There just remained the corrupted core.
Sensing that its time would soon be over, it let out one, last remaining wave of defiance. A huge black shockwave emanated from it, affecting everyone in the room. Its effect would press them down as gravity heightened, forcing them into contact with the corrupted data on the ground. This time, it would make a dull pain as it threatened to eat away at their bodies, but not entirely. None of the team had as much weakness or desperation as the Goblimon and Ogremon had when it had first taken them over. However, the Goblimon and Ogremon were both affected, the effect of the Gryzmon's healing protecting them from being re-taken.
Its effect was only temporary. The enemy would be free to move again once the initial burst was over. And furthermore, the secondary shield on the core had vanished. All that was left protecting it was the remnants of Golemon's Earthen Wall.
Golemon is destroyed. Gotsumon D is destroyed.
Corrupted Core uses Gravija.
Gravija - Sends forth a pulse of energy that presses all opponents to the corrupted ground, damaging them for 1/2 of their remaining HP. Unavoidable, but can be countered with a specific blocking ability. Only able to be used once in a thread.
Corrupted Core is still covered by Earthen Wall.

"Alright, that took care of it!" Tetsu cheered. Now what's left is the corrupted core... Tetsu was about to call Gryz back and ride him to destroy the core, but--- suddenly, his field of vision lowered down, almost as quickly, like someone suddenly pulled him down. It nearly made his neck creak. Gritting his teeth, Tetsu tried to fight the gravity... but sudden roar broke his concentration
It wasn't supposed to be. Gryz... isn't he supposed to be a Vaccine Digimon? The contact with corrupted data made the bear struggle and flails about like he's on direct contact with fire. More trashing and flailing about, but Gryz doesn't even have the strength to stand... not with his body smarting and one of his paw still hurting. Tetsu tried to inch forward to get to his partner...
"Gryz...!"
But not even a single milimeter could be achieved, the boy slammed to the ground, hard. He coughed air from his lung. The impact was too strong... and he wondered if he broke some ribs...
"Dammit, my vision..."
His vision fading... did he hit his head? All he remembered was sight of red...
and so, the world enveloped in darkness....
...The sound of bell called his consciousness back. The pain was gone... he was no longer on contact with the foul earth. He fell... he remembered when the impact hits, he was the very first to hit the ground, and it burned. It was foul, it was arid, it was... completely something he hate, yet, something inside of him whispered to him... this is right, this is what you're born for, this is what you're meant to return to... and it was invasive... it crept to his Digicore...
"...but now that sensation is gone, where I am?" he wondered.
And the answer lies in front of his eyes. Stacked legos and cushions, the village of beginning. He remembered this scene, it was when... that happened. He's a hatched Popomon...
Elecmon cooed at him, and he in turn just blinked... but that was the beginning of everything. Why he would leave the village while he's in his Baby I form? Why would he leave the village the moment he saw how lazy was the mercenary? Why didn't he turn back, considering how closer it is to the village than the Terminus?
Because you're afraid, you're afraid that you didn't belong.
"Is this one of the one who born today?" a Babamon. It was rare to see one, yet here she is. Elecmon nodded, and almost in pride, he handed the baby him over to the Babamon. Ah right, he remembered this part. The Babamon would say that unlucky star is shining upon him, and he'll be a Belphemon, but his kind heart would prevail and he'll be the fuzziest, fluffiest Demon Lord with =w= face. It made Elecmon laugh. He called him Gryz afterward. It sounded rather fuzzy.
"...This child, he'll bring ill omen."
...Huh?
"He's born to be a demon lord. Corruption is in him... He will be a disaster..."
Wait, wait, this is not how it goes... right?
"But all hope is not lost. He's linked to a tamer. If it happened that his tamer are a kind one, I'm sure that he can tame him down.
Tame? I'm not... I'm not a wild Digimon! Why would I get tamed?
The Elecmon just laughed at it, but... the eyes of the other babies looked at him like he's an alien.
No, wait, this is not supposed to be like this!
...yet, his heart knew... they're afraid of him. They still talked to him, but they chose their words very carefully, even for babies. They always looked rather... subdued around him. When he approached, nobody rejected him... but he was oblivious. In all game, he's always winning. He doesn't care about winning, he just want to have fun. Yet, he was oblivious that they're trying to please him, so he won't be angry.
But it was changed one day, when a baby sighed how he always win and let it blurt out how everyone letting him win just because he's a demon lord in making. It shocked him and he ran, ran and ran, away from the others... and found solace in the Elecmon that he treated both like his father and big brother... that's when he decided to leave. He can't bear with the stare of his peer and their fear, or their attempt to please him.
Has this trauma made my memory fuzzy...? No, it must be the corruption... or is it...?
"No, this is your true memory," raspy voice told him. "You, who rejected your future and origin, finally returned to its cradle... Do not reject, this is who you are... Do not reject, because it is futile... Come, break free from that chain... You're binding yourselves for stupid reason."
The last thing he saw was the face of muscular beast with wings sprouting on his back...
Nobody is there to hear the bear scream... as in the outside world, outside of this mentalscape, he has stopped trashing around, and all that left was the corruption from the earth that absorbed by his body like a sponge.
