They didn't listen, it was to be expected she figured. It was frustrating to be second fiddle to someone controlling her body entirely. If not even generating what amounted to a completely different... Being. Or what amounted to her if she had a bloodthirsty desire to go after innocence. Everything she said seemed to be ignored past one part; K froze, or at least what amounted to her watching this creature froze. Their reply wasn't something separate, but it came within sounding by her voice.
.....No. I can't digivolve, some digimon can't anyways-
She sounded exasperated, but when the digivolution transpired she stopped talking and felt her blood run cold. Or what amounted to her blood. It hurt but she had to admit that the sensation of digivolution as jaded as it was and from where she was in retrospect.. Felt good. She didn't know this form, it didn't ring any bells. There was no call out of name that followed suit when a digimon actually digivolved. Was this something from within herself? Or was this something that came form the ring entirely?
She wanted control again, she wanted to push this influence out so she could experience this digivolution properly. If it wasn't hers then she wouldn't be able to manage it and the data from the rings had messed with hers. Which could only be bad.
When the Sangloupmon seemed to draw fire into it's gullet, the Renamon could feel the heat. Could watch what looked like her, made of fire run out of view.... But what else was she going to do? She pushed, or at least thought she was pushing.
This isn't right! S-stop!

Things were getting intense. The ones controlled by the rings were mostly staying back. Wormmon was getting fed up on the defensive. "This is crazy! I'm not gonna sit around like a worm in the morning, waiting to be gobbled. I'm gonna bring the fight to them." Wormmon starts running towards the trees where K and Amelie were. All of a sudden Wormmon sees K appear as a Sangloupmon. This was nothing like the innkeeper he knew. "K? What's gotten into you? Guess I'm going to have to digivolve after all."
Wormmon found himself close by Sanploupmon and a particularly hot Renamon. "This was not supposed to happen! Ah curse you, Wisemon. You're just some kind of trickster, like Wizardmon." Wormmon turns tail and starts crawling back over to the group. A dark ring flies towards the Worm King. "Wormmon, watch out!" The dark ring heads straight towards Wormmon, wrapping itself around his stinger. "Dante? What's going on?!" The ring emits a weak shock, messing with Wormmon's data. "O-o-o-oh a-a-a-a-ah... What is lo-o-o-o-ove, no, they don't wa-a-ant no-o-one, they do-o-on't want the ju-u-u-u-u-ice..." "Wormmon! Try to fight it." Dante is panicking. If Digimon can still digivolve with the ring on, what did this mean for Wormmon? Would the Goddess of Destruction make an appearance, or some corrupted form? Dante braces for the worst. The thing he was most worried about was coming true. Wormmon would lose his mind to the dark ring, there's no telling how psychotic he would become.

Huh. The strange lull she had been submitted thus far seemed to be reaching its climax. At this point, Amelie didn't even know if it was her body the one that was being messed up with or just the strange alien entity that constituted her spirits. Whatever modifications were being done, at least she could pretty much say that they didn't mean any good for her opponents, and maybe for herself. Then again, without outside help the most likely case was that she couldn't break out while the ring was testing her body, and even less so if it had full control.
That concluded on... a simple question. What was going to be the result of this small experiment? With any luck, the digimons in charge of overseeing the majority of this small experiment were still around, and with any luck, they'd understand when enough is enough, at least when regarding the strange rings.
And now, a question that had been nagging the back of her mind for some time already; how this would experiment end and... would there be any permanent repercussions on her body? She sincerely was betting on them not being a thing but.... only time was able to tell that one.

Two of the three Ogrelords rested on their laurels after the Ogrewhelming, Ogrepowering Combination Beach Volleyball All-Out Pummeling, a name far too beautiful to waste on a situation like this.
"Don't you guys just love fireworks?" SnowGoblimon asked, adjusting a pair of imaginary sunglasses over his eyes.
"Ooof, yeah. We really outdoned ourselves this time, right?" Shamamon agreed, sighing happily.
Less happy was the boss of this operation, who promptly whacked both morons on the backs of their heads. "Focus already, ya gits!" he ordered, pointing grumpily into the forest and the distinct lack of any Digimon caught in their attack. "We didn't even come close with that one."
"Yeah, we didn't," SnowGoblimon admitted, "But it sure was pretty."
"My fist's gonna be pretty when I've got your teeth all over it!" Goblimon barked. Promptly, all three of the Ogrelords were left scratching their heads, trying to figure out if this was an insult or a compliment being given.
A pair of dark rings spinning out of the forest helped snap the Ogrelords out of this revelation. They both seemed directed towards Shamamon, which was certainly an unfortunate choice. SnowGoblimon was fast, and Goblimon was strong, but Shamamon was the slow, defensive one of the trio. Avoiding the Dark Rings would be a major pain for him. At least he was quick on the draw with one of them, pulling out a bone from his pocket. "Get that junk outta here!" he shouted as he flung the bone at the Dark Ring, hoping to bash it out of the sky before it could reach him.
The other ring, going for his arm instead of his head, would be a lot more troublesome of a situation. Fortunately, SnowGoblimon was on the case. He rushed the ring, a cloud of frost coming from his mouth as he breathed his minty fresh breath all over the ring. Were its momentum to be stopped at such a critical juncture, there's no way it'd be able to make it over to Shamamon. "These guys we're fighting should really chill out now, huh?" he asked, snickering at his own pun.
Goblimon clapped once in relief. "Great job, boys! Now that's how we do it!" he cheered, ignoring how little he contributed. "Time for us to take these posers down, eh?
"Mean like that worm?" Shamamon asked, pointing towards the Wormmon that had just gotten snagged.
"Yeah!" Goblimon cheered. "Lets smash the sense right back into its melon!" Goblimon promptly rushed full-force at Wormmon, drawing a fist back while SnowGoblimon and Shamamon flanked him. The other two sought to surround Wormmon and limit his routes of escape while Goblimon rushed forwards. As soon as he skid in front of Wormmon he stopped, rather than punching electing to kick Wormmon right upside the Dark Ring. "Goblin Punch!" he roared, already hearing the imaginary crowd cheering on his signature attack.
Goblimon uses Goblin Punch on Wormmon! (Gobli Pose: Muscle duration 2/3) SnowGoblimon uses Minty Fresh Breath on the Dark Ring! (Gobli Pose: Grace duration 2/3) Shamamon uses Bonemerang on the Dark Ring! (Gobli Pose: Heavy duration 2/3)

As the three dark wings whizzed their way out of the surrounding wood, the Mikemon's eyes widened slightly. At once, a myriad of questions shot up in his head, but they would have to wait. Closer to the Goblimon brothers than Dante, the doctor prepared a bright, orange ball of energy in his fangs, sending it rocketing out a moment later.
The target was clear: right after that first dark ring would bounce off the bone, it would hover in midair, and try and arc back around to its target. Before it could, however, the 'fireball' struck the side of the ring, shattering it like a midair skeet! The second ring wouldn't need that much: chilled by the air, the device fell, settling on the ground like a discarded plate.
At the very least, these two rings were dealt with.
The Wormmon, however, was not so lucky: as soon as the dark ring locked around his stinger, the rookie would feel that painful heat the Renamon described earlier. It didn't take long for the spell to take hold over Dante's partner Digimon, a red gleam entering 'Havok's' eyes. "Oh, finally, I can cut loose! Heh, fear me, for I am - what the frick?!" Caught in his own words, the insect's view is quickly overtaken by the approaching Goblimon! Through what appeared like a frantic spasm, the insect managed to bound to his right side, narrowly avoiding that foot as he darted away. "Oi! I make my grand appearance and that's how you introduce me? No tact!"
In his complaint, the Wormmon's body was already pulsing with the light of Digivolution. In just a few moments, a Stingmon would replace the insect's form. The dark ring settled on its arm, just past the right gauntlet - one that was already showing a rather vicious needle. "And this is a punch!" From that range, he'd give a jab towards the goblin's center, intent on hitting him dead on with a Spiking Strike!.
As for Canisdramon, well, the attack coming after him wasn't quite K herself, but rather an embodiment of fire in the shape of a Renamon. As such, the Aurora Beam would strike right through the shadowy frame's chest, like it was shooting straight through air. The 'Fire Dance' met this with a simple lunge for the Canisdramon's new location: the Aurora Beam would tear through, leaving a blanket of fire rushing to coat the area in flames. If it went as intended, the armor Digimon's back would be awash in fire!
K, finally visible on the border of the forest, found a grin growing on the edge of her muzzle. With Dante largely out of the picture, and the Goblimon trio left in disarray by the rings, the Sangloupmon herself settled her eyes on a target: Yuuki. Figuring that the Canisdramon was too busy dealing with the effects of her fiery clone, the virus-type wolf bolted right out from the woods, and made a beeline for the human! Anyone trying to deter her would feel the sting of her Blade Rush, blades glowing with a faint dark energy around her mane and legs. Should this swift attack reach Yuuki, she'd be far more merciful to the human, aiming to pin him underfoot. Her main goal was to try and tear his Digivice away from him, either by tearing with her claws or stealing it with her fangs!
THaT iS JUsT Your opINion. The Ring's voice echoed in K's head once more, even as she tried to peel through the edge of the form.
But it wouldn't just be K going after Canisdramon and Yuuki. After all, there was two more goblins that might try and think of trying to stop him, and if Canisdramon or Dorumon managed to reach Yuuki, that would also present a problem.
Luckily, the Dark Ring didn't even have to experiment further with the form for this one - though for Amelie, this one was likely a stretch. The lanky form reached into the ground, and managed to hoist a rather sizeable boulder from the ground, before swinging it over the canopy. Copying both the Shamanmon's accuracy and power, this large rock would land on the far side of the goblins, likely preventing the Shamanmon and Snowgoblimon from directly charging K!
Unless, well, they were already charging her. In which case, they'd be right in the large rock's path!
"Tch... at this rate..."
The Mikemon swore under his breath. In the chaos, his eyes leveled on the Wisemon, a dark glare entering the feline's expression. There, the sorcerer simply stood, chuckling as he watched the display before him.
It was clear: whatever the Wisemon was doing now, was not part of what the cat had signed up for!
K used 'Blade Rush!' K's 'Dark-Fire-Dance' has erupted - the fire is set to blanket a wide area around Canisdramon! Amelie used 'Surreal Memoir - Batter Up!' Havokmon used 'Spiking Strike!

One, he expected the thing to dodge, but he has not forseen that it's not real. But two... the attacks suddenly absorbed by the crystals that Canisdramon has scattered around the area. The crystals explodes thanks to it, which mean he no longer have any buffs... but at least the attack is nulled. Third... attack aimed at Yuuki. He should be shocked, but in this situation, he know that he's a soft target. Instead, he wastes no time to drop his Digivice to the ground and...
"Unison."
The Digivice let out bright light and exploded, creating a force field that mediated the evolution. Perhaps when K has reached his place, nothing was there and what took the place of the human is the armored form, similar to Alphamon, yet so different as it's still on the size of the human. Two sets of boosters on his back let out light particles in shape of wings.
The super ultimate has no idea until when he could stay up in this form. The dark tower has proved itself to be having a mind of its own. That's why, he need to blast the ring out of someone who can be a dependable ally.
He chooses K, who's already so close to him
"Fairy floating is not a fair game," he declared, slashing with a held back power, directed at the ring.

K 'sat' there, just staring at what this other one was making her do. Making her fight; making her... Use this form she'd never touched; even considered. If she could digivolve. What else was there? Why did it have to be now? Under this.. things influence that she learned that was the case? She rubbed her muzzle and calmed herself; getting angry wasn't going to solve anything.
It was beyond frustrating and somewhat.. invigorating. The fact she could become stronger was somehow re-assuring. But at the same time, why didn't she figure this out her damn self? When she was dealing with rowdy customers or something? Huffing in irritation she'd 'cross' her arms staring out and watching what the other did.
So far her attempts to stop this other was met poorly; rather met in such a fashion where she seemed to be an annoyance to the one guiding her body. She'd rub her muzzle and continue observing.
They were there to learn weren't they? So learn she shall, if she couldn't resist well... She might as well see how far the rabbit hole went. It was an irritating path of thought but it honestly was the only course available to her, seeing as resisting served to get her no where. The fight continued and she found herself going after yuuki; grumbling she'd ask a slew of questions. Not expecting any responses.
If you're going to use my body I'd at least like some questions answered...
As for opinions... What's yours? What's your reason for pushing this? For controlling us?"
There was a considerable pause before the next question.
How far can you push my body? With this ring of yours?

This wasn't what Dante had expected. There was some risk involved, but he did not picture a full out melee. For the first time he really felt that his partner Wormmon was a danger to him. The Ogrelords managed to take out the dark rings heading towards them, and soon the trio of big bruisers and the Worm King would get their chance to face off. Wormmon retained his ability to speak, even with the ring. Still arrogant and boastful, not much difference there. Then Wormmon digivolved to his Champion stage Stingmon. If there was one thing about Stingmon that stood out from Havok's other forms, it was his thirst for battle.
Dante just stands there, processing what is happening. He was further away from Wisemon and Mikemon, but he wasn't being targeted for now. Dante thinks to himself, desperately searching for courage.
"Is this really happening? Wormmon, taken control of by one of those dark rings. Did I fail my Digimon partner? It's always been difficult to control you, little buddy. And now I find myself on the wrong side of Stingmon's energy cannon, and energy spike. All those times we charged into combat together. You were always ready for a fight. Sometimes I wish I was as confident as you, Stingmon. What is it going to take to get that ring off you?"
When Yuuki was attacked, he biomerged to create a new form Dante hasn't seen before. With so many powerful Digimon in the mix, someone could end up hurt badly. Whoever is responsible for these dark spires needed to be destroyed. Dante would make them pay. _________________________
Inside Stingmon's head, he was having his own internal crisis. A mini Wormmon sits on a couch, eating popcorn and watching the events transpire on a giant screen. "Ya! Stingmon in the house! Taste that Spiking Strike, ya smelly ogre!"
A voice is heard in the corner of the room. "You do realize what is happening right now, don't you?"
Wormmon turns and looks. "What the? Who is there?!"
Lilithmon emerges from the shadows and approaches Wormmon. "Whoah! Hey there, hot stuff." "This is not the time to be a creep. We are being controlled by the dark ring, and have become hostile to our allies." "Really? But, I like beating people up." "We couldn't stop ourselves from fighting if we tried. This is serious." "Whatever. Ain't nobody better step up to the Worm King, or they are about to get stung! Say, how about a nice big hug?"
Wormmon leaps off the couch towards Lilithmon, diving towards her chest, but the Goddess steps to the side, and Wormmon falls flat on his face. "Would you give it a rest, bug face?! I can be so obnoxious sometimes."
Wormmon crawls forward and starts banging on the screen. "Hey, bigshot! You're fighting the wrong Digimon! You are being controlled! Why can't I control my own body?"
Lilithmon sits down on the couch and leans back. "We can't take control until someone destroys the dark ring. Now go get me some lemonade before I start pulling your legs off. And I want a mini umbrella."
Wormmon sulks across the floor, mumbling to himself.

As interesting and exhilarating this experience was, it was beginning to get a little boring, at least to Amelie; most of Stridermon's attack had been somewhat ineffective, and the fact that the digimon wasn't charging head-on into the fray made her feel... frustrated, for some reason.
What... that wasn't her mind's voice speaking. Well, it hadn't been all this while but it seemingly was manifesting through her consciousness. Huh, she kinda knew what this all about somewhat well, and in all frankness, it was somewhat of a relief that she at least now had some support on this small endeavor. Would it be enough, however? Only one way to find out, she guessed!
"This isn't right." The thought resounded with unusual force, something that had been lukewarm at best thus far. Even if she had proven how futile was to assume control by herself, at least she'd wrestle to make Stridermon's movements less graceful. "Dooo you know this is as futile as what I'm doing right now, right? I might be your guinea pig, but you're theirs."
Somewhere, some distance away, a certain Wisemon was observing them, and he had more than enough power to blow to the tower to small bits if he wanted or to make it stop functioning altogether.
Would that have any effect? Well, she wasn't sure of it, but... at least now she was making a conscious effort to stop this. Let's see how that went.

There were, it turns out, quite a few flaws with the Ogrelords' plan. The first flaw was that a giant boulder had been launched at the trio, separating the Goblimon leading the charge from his two brothers hovering behind. With the boulder hurtling towards them Shamamon and SnowGoblimon immediately doubled back, Goblimon none the wiser that he had been ditched. Now there was no way Wormmon could be cut off from what was sure to be a major knockout blow on Goblimon's part!
The second flaw in the plan was that Wormmon didn't need to be cut off, or even to attempt to dodge. As soon as Goblimon closed in the Wormmon practically exploded into a Stingmon, harshly jabbing Goblimon in the stomach with a Spiking Strike. The wind pretty much left the entirety of Goblimon's body as he hurtled back, letting out a few devastated wheezes. If it wasn't for both jabbing his club into the ground and taking a knee, he would have ended up flat on his back after a move like that. "Okay. This one's gonna be tricky," he said. "But if I've got me boys backing me up, we've got this. Alright, boys, let's-!" ] Goblimon blinked, looking around at the distinct lack of boys surrounding him right now. "Oi, you two are gonna have hell to pay for this!" he roared. He hefted his club up, smashing the ground so hard that small, glowing cracks spread across it. Once he was done he spread his arms out as if beckoning Stingmon forward. "Alright, big green and ugly! You wanna go? Lets go!" he shouted, purely defiant.
Meanwhile, SnowGoblimon and Shamamon had some defiance of their own planned. The stone hurtling toward them looked twice as big as the ones that Shamamon fired off, but it was still just a big rock. And a big rock was just a volleyball that needed a lot of effort to swing. The two looked at each other as the boulder approached, wordlessly nodding before leaping into action. They stopped running away and started towards the boulder, drawing their clubs back to savagely smack them into the boulder. The force of the impact sent them sliding back, but it also sent the now iced-over boulder hurtling away at tremendous speeds.
After landing, what else could SnowGoblimon and Shamamon do but high five? At least these two were having fun. After directly eating a nasty Spiking Strike, Goblimon uses Fire Dance on the ground before him! (Delay: Attack fires off in one post) (Gobli Pose: Muscle duration 3/3) SnowGoblimon and Shamamon Batter Up on Amelie's own Batter Up! (Gobli Pose: Grace duration 3/3), (Gobli Pose: Heavy duration 3/3)

Well, wasn't that a sight to behold? The moment the Digivice was dropped, the Sangloupmon darted for it, ready to snatch the Digivice up in her fangs... only to be stopped by a sudden blast of light! The dominated canine growled, reeling back from such an illustrious display. K's form growled, defiantly staring towards that knight a mere few feet away...
This game's gone on long enough!
That tore it! With the Stingmon taken, and with Yuuki and Hikaru having decided that whatever experiment here had gone too far, the Mikemon set his sights on another target: the tower! Gritting his fangs, the feline tore away from the two remaining Goblimon, claws tensing as he made his approach. Whether it had the equipment around it or not, it was still a tower, and it wouldn't be too hard for a champion level to take it down with a single swipe!
But at this display, the Wisemon gave a chuckle. There was little hesitation for his next action: in the magician's left hand, his spellbook began to rapidly flip pages, from left to right, until it settled on a certain spell. His other hand pressed lightly against the side of the tower. The spell pulsed with a single word:
"Release."
The moment that word was said, the Mikemon's expression gave a wince, his sprint soon turning into a forward tumble. Dark sparks of energy rapidly surrounded both his and the greater Alphamon's frame, and in the next instant, both would be pulled straight down to their rookie forms. Mikemon, now a Salamon, groaned as he struggled back up on four unfamiliar feet. "Tch..."
"Oh, c'mon, now." The Wisemon chuckled. "Surely you weren't planning to end our little experiment like that, now were you?"
Understandably, the 'dark spirit' K was conversing with didn't immediately respond to the Renamon's query. After all, there was the matter of the impossibly-high-leveled swordsman a mere few feet away, who could seemingly annihilate the ring with a single touch! All of K's instincts switched to that of preservation, sidestepping away from the holy blade to buy as much time as she could. Her expression towards Yuuki was absolutely defiant, not willing to accept this result...
... But it seemed like she wouldn't have to. Before the blade would reach its mark, Wisemon's spell would release, and the restriction on the tower would be no more. In all likelihood, the Sangloupmon would once more be bearing down on the pair, a sadistic, toothy grin taking over her expression.
we cONTrol You beCAUse yoU weRe OurS to STArt wIth. Just now, the voice perked up once more, leveling her gaze with Yuuki, who'd likely be standing before them. But as for how far K could be pushed? It likely wasn't answered the way she would prefer:
you'LL seE WhAt yOU'RE capAbLE oF.
Well, that felt like it connected! With Dante silent in the background - and thankfully so, as it would have been much worse for the human to take a Spiking Strike - the Stingmon felt the Goblimon's heavy torso recoil off of his fist. While the goblin careened in midair, it looked like he was about to topple like a sack of bricks, but somehow the leader of the trio managed to stay up on his feet. To this, the insect gave a hearty chuckle! "Aha, so you can take a punch, can you?" Pointing a hand forward to the Goblimon, he issued his challenge:
"That's good! No-one will appreciate my reign of terror if I just start by torturing a weakling!" And as the Goblimon stood and gave his challenge, a mysterious and obvious sparking spot on the floor, Havokmon decided to retaliate - from a distance! Raising an arm, a green light appeared from the gauntlet - instead of a spike, a powerfully propelled seed was launched towards the Goblimon's chest. And if this one struck, it would erupt into a small array of vines, intent on gripping around the rookie's chest to drain his energy!
Like with K, not everything was what it seemed in Wormmon and Lillithmon's mental space. For a few moments, the pair would peacefully bicker in front of the giant screen. Lillithmon would be the voice of caution, and the Wormmon, well, he seemed along for the ride.
But as they spoke, the screen itself gave a flicker. What started out as a clear image started to flicker, static and noise sputtering through the speaker. As if to further mess with his perception, the popcorn briefly turned to a bowl of candy corn, and the couch, a rather decrepit, folding movie chair.
And through the speaker's buzz, a single, garbled voice managed to peak its way through:
We will take it all back...
Honestly, Amelie's boredom meant little to the Stridermon, as it was under the control of the tower. Whatever force had taken hold had already decided that Stridermon was far too fragile to simply bring into combat, especially with enemy champions and an apparent Alphamon out in the clearing. Her skills were useful for observation, at least at first.
However, the ring was soon done with its assessment. Only as Amelie's thought rang through the Stridermon's head, did the spirit stand back up... right as the boulder would careen right over her head! This was a simple matter in itself: with a powerfully raised arm, melded into a club, the boulder was struck again - but rather than deflect it back, Stridermon simply let it careen off at an angle into the wilds!
Only then, would this amorphous, humanoid form finally break into the clearing. And to Amelie, its voice was loud and clear: You are not a subject. You are ours to use.
Just as she said that, the form would radiate an odd light, before the creature would make a dash towards the two remaining Goblimon. And should any of the three try to throw another rock... well, they would have forgot how to summon the boulder in the first place!
Battle Log: 1) Havokmon used 'Infestation', targeting Goblimon! 2) Amelie used 'Batter Up' to deflect the rock in a wayward direction! 3) Amelie used 'Serpentine Spike' - 'Perish the Thought', declaring 'Batter Up' on the Goblimon trio! 4) The tower is active! Forms above Armor Champion are sealed!

He expected this, knowing that the asshole would devolve him, so he devolved himself before the shock could take him. The moment they separated, the Digivice reformed on his hand, and quickly evolved Hikaru to his highest available form. He's not going to bother with Dorugamon or Dorugreymon. Canisdramon's speed will be crucial. From bright flash of light, Canisdramon reappeared and quickly turned tail, grabbing his partner to help him to ride. They're not going to waste any time, not with the mad doctor around.
"Hikaru, change of plan, you know what to do, right?"
"Ou!"
He dashed. Wisemon is currently the worst enemy, hence if he want to target the tower, most likely he'll get overwhelmed by most of them and the mad scientist himself, with no one to help but three gobs (which most likely would just ignore him) and the doctor now shrunk. Hence...
"Use the enemy's tactic against them."
And once again, Hikaru and Yuuki's form gone from sight. Using this moment, Yuuki grabbed leader of the Gobs. If he's not gonna listen, then he'll MAKE THEM. The gob also gone from the sight, having affected by Hikaru's buff. It should be mentioned that the current payload is not enough to weight Hikaru down, but it's probably important that he doesn't have the time to slow down, hence currently the goblin is... unceremoniously dragged, or better said, almost like flailing in the wind, with only Yuuki's arm securing him to not somehow got tossed away by the speed.
They used the trees to cover their only glaring fault, the fact that the leaf blades would sunk when Hikaru stepped on them.

K wasn't exactly too terribly pleased with the idea of having to fight an alphamon. Even if she was controlled the very prospect of fighting such a creature was beyond her; after all she was more used to fighting as a rookie than anything else. She could just feel the power of what was in front of her and she wasn't even driving currently! She was unsure what the other would do in such situation.
Running to her made sense; it's what she would do. But as the creature swung it's holy blade at her... K anticipated release for maybe a moment only to be surprised by the two de-digivolving in front of her. The other seemingly grinning down at the two in a sadistic fashion.
When this voice told her that they controlled her because she was theirs to start with K blinked a few times; tilted her head and scratched the side of it for a few moments.
.......What do you even mean by that? Can you explain?
At the next statement K sighed softly; it wasn't exactly what she was hoping for in terms of answers. But at this point she was curious to see; she really wasn't sure if she could break free. In fact she was pretty sure that she couldn't so she might as well watch. There was a small pause and k growled softly; her hands clenching into fists.
Who are you?
She passively watched what she could from the eyes of a form she really didn't recognize. The others seemed to be fighting rather hard, trying their best so to speak. It was somewhat surprising but at the same time, they too were part of this experiment? If you could really call it that at this point. With the wisemon de-activating the tower K wasn't really sure what she could do at this point.
Perhaps she could learn a tidbit or two while under this ring's effects, or perhaps she was just going to be a puppet for a little while. Either way the renamon was Stuck.

With Stingmon under the tower's control, Dante could only stand and watch as the experiment goes off the rails. Deciding to hit the panic button, Mikemon makes it known that he intends to target the tower. What catches Dante off guard is that Wisemon intervenes, devolving Mikemon and Hikaru down to their Rookie forms. Is Wisemon in league with whoever constructed the dark towers, or was this action purely for the sake of the experiment? Was it wrong to have trusted him?
It wouldn't really do much good trying to reason with Stingmon in this state. As if the King of Sting was ever easy to control. Havokmon had told Dante about the effects of the ring from his time on his own. How they can turn Digimon into nothing more than weapons of destruction, devoid of any control of their own. Stingmon uses his Infestation technique, launching a seed that absorbs life from the target and syphons it to Stingmon. It was heartbreaking for Dante to be against his partner, seeing his abilities from the opposite side of the battlefield.
"This experiment is a failure. We shouldn't have toyed around with devices that we didn't understand. Stingmon, if you can hear me, little buddy, I want you to know it's going to be alright. We'll get that dark ring off of you. We've overcome a lot of tough challenges before, but this is something different altogether. Just hold on."
Inside Stingmon's mind, things started to glitch out. Lilithmon is livid that her popcorn has been replaced with candy corn.
"Eww, candy corn! What is the meaning of this?" Wormmon comes crawling back. "I couldn't find any lemonade, but I did get you this orange juice. Also, I found this hammer." Wormmon notices the screen flickering, and they hear an eerie voice. "What the? Take what back?"
"The dark ring, it is messing with our mind. An outside force is possessing us, something I find very disturbing. Although I do kind of like the vibe. Very sinister. If we make it out of this, we should look into mind control devices of our own. Maybe we are fighting for the wrong side."
"Hey! Don't you go all evil Goddess on me. Controlling people's minds is bad, and you should be ashamed of yourself." "Well, the Worm King getting all self righteous, look who's talking. We're the same 'mon, after all." "Nah-uh, I may be maleficent by hooman standards, but I lived a fairly moral life before your memories returned." "Face it, you were, are, and always will be the Goddess of Destruction. If the ones that created these dark towers succeed, then they have every right to control other Digimon, because power is the most important thing." "Was I really this coldhearted and vile before?"
Wormmon manages to hear some of what Dante is saying. "Don't worry, Dante! I'll take care of this dark ring, by hitting myself in the head with this hammer! You can't control my mind if I'm unconscious." "It doesn't work like that."

Well, wasn't this interesting? For a second, Amelie was entertained at what was happening; probably the most intense emotion she had felt since being thrown at the back of the back of her mind. An involuntary chuckle escaped her mouth before her own thoughts began to resound once again.
"Isn't it a bit too early to be having delusions of grandeur? I mean, sure. Do whatever you want; even if your technicalities are amusing, in the end... everything's going to be for naught. Hope you've made your peace."
It was funny, in all honesty; even if the consciousness behind the ring was demanding and authoritative, its tactics were quite a bit less bold than them. Maybe it was just her fuzzy mind, but the brunette could sense that lingering fear on the entity currently dictating her movements as she weaved through and counterattacked.
"So... what's next?" She made her best effort at sounding mocking. "Are you going to fight for real or just... wait until the good guys finally get us? Because it's looking like that's what gonna happen. Guess it was nice to meet you? Except, not really."
Those words were so uncharacteristic of her, but Amelie could also sense that those weren't entirely hers. Maybe somebody else was upset with the current state of events and wasn't afraid of expressing it. She could at least guess that much.
