"You are welcome to come along or lead the way as it were since we don't know where the station is." Cas explained motioning for Skye and her own companion to take the lead as the woman adjusted her grip of the rookie in question taking care to ensure he was comfortable or if not comfortable at least wouldn't wake up with a bruise from her carrying him awkwardly. Beside her Cloak and Dagger inched close the Kotemon prodding the unconscious digimon lightly with his Shinai. Only for both twins to find themselves neatly distracted by SnowAgumon as Dagger puffed up his chest with pride.
"Thanks. It's what heroes do." He declared earning a roll of the eyes from his twin, but both seemed content for the moment to leave the Strabimon be. At Skye's mention of healing abilities Cas chewed her lips for a moment in thought.
"It might work, but the issue is less that he is hurt and more that he is exhausted. Physically he's completely unharmed he simply used up far too much energy in his evolution and is suffering the side-effects of it. If your healing can rejuvenate energy then perhaps it might work." The Doctor explained motioning to the digimon in question as the little group set out.

And so Skye began to retread her steps back to the Trailmon station. "Hopefully we won't have long to wait, the Trailmons have been coming this way more often since Snowflake Village was rebuilt" she said. And besides, waiting too long on a station platform wasn't a very good prospect, especially in this weather.
Skye listened to what Cas had to say on the subject of how useful her healing would be. "I see. Well, my healing abilities relate to restoring data from injuries, so, I doubt it would be very useful in this case" she said. A pity really. But there was nothing else for it but to let the Strabimon get some rest for now.
Eventually, they would arrive at the Trailmon platform. While there was no enclosed waiting room as it wasn't big enough for one, only serving the rural digimon of the area, there was a bench upon it, sheltered on three sides by a wall of timber. Hickory immediately proceeded to read the timetable from upon the Lekismon's shoulder.
"Whew, we just made it! The next Trailmon's due in five minutes!" he said, which was a relief, because otherwise they'd have to wait nearly an hour for the next one.

"Is it now? That's...Good news. Maybe Strabi will be up and about faster than I had imagined." SnowAgumon breathed a sigh of relief. The trip there was very uneventful. The tundra was very still. SnowAgumon personally thought it was unnerving. He looked towards his friend, warily. Strabimon--Or Strabi, as SnowAgumon had been referring to him, had been out cold the whole trip. How he hadn't woken up was a mystery but it was as Cas said.
Poor guy was exhausted. And who knows what would happen when he awakes? The lupine digimon shuffled in the arms of the doctor, briefly, before settling in again.
All that was left was the Trailmon to come and get you all to Terminus.

"Don't worry healing or no he should make a full recovery." The Doctor assured them even as she settled down upon the sheltered bench shrugging out of her lab coat to carefully wrap it about the weakened Digimon. Cloak and Dagger would choose to stand for the moment eyeing the schedule alongside Skye even as Dagger let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh good that'd be a nice change from walking for once! We've had the worst luck with trains." The Zubamon groaned out. Just thinking about it made his poor feet sore as Cloak shook his head in amusement.
"It would be nice to escape the cold. We were not expecting to visit the frozen north." The Kotemon murmured glancing between his Tamer and her patient and the tracks keeping a close watch out for the train in the distance. Cassandra herself in the meantime carefully checked the Strabimon's pulse once more before pressing two fingers to his paws confirming for herself that yes his pulse was steady and no fever thankfully.
"Well the best we can do for now is make sure Strabi as you called him is comfortable and wakes up in a welcoming environment. We don't want him to panic and lash out." Cas explained absentmindedly running a hand lightly over the canine digimon's head smoothing down some of the ruffled fur there as she attempt to soothe away whatever ill dream might have caused him to stir.

Now that the situation had settled down completely, Skye relaxed herself and eased off the influence of the Digimental of Responsibility. As far as she was concerned now, they were safe. The Lekismon glowed momentarily before shrinking down to her normal height of three and a half feet - the form of Gatomon. Hickory yelped and struggled to keep balance on her shoulder, but managed to keep himself from falling off.
"Hey! Give some warning next time will ya?" he complained, but nothing bad had happened thus far. Furthermore, with the influence of the control spire now gone, Skye was able to retain her normal Champion form - the ring on her tail unsealed and back to its shining golden color.
Not long after that, Skye could see a light in the horizon, approaching from the North. This was it, a Trailmon was approaching. From her limited knowledge of the machine digimon, this seemed to be a C-89 variant of the digimon, its front shaped similar to that of a bullet. And as it approached, it seemed to be hauling four metal carriages, as well as empty cargo trucks trailing at the rear - undoubtedly returning from a resupply journey. The Trailmon saw the passengers waiting at the platform and engaged the brakes, slowing down to a halt, the doors to a carriage opening in front of the party.
"Well then, nothing for it but to head back to Snowflake" Skye said. Both she and Hickory appreciated the rush of warm air from the carriage as they boarded, the heating systems working well to keep things comfortable for the passengers. And the seats were warm too. It seemed this would be a good environment for Strabimon and the rest of them to recover from the ordeal.

"Nothing for it indeed..." Warm air was actually something SnowAgumon was never gonna get used to. He boarded the train and took a seat near his newfound friends.
...Could they be called friends? That was a rather uncertain question. But...the tundra wasn't under that thing's influence anymore and his pal was free. Good day, all and all. Strabimon seemed to settle back down. God knows what he was dreaming but given he spent a -long- while as Garurumon, the terror around the spire, it likely...wasn't very pretty. "I'm assuming we're heading to Snowflake from here so...I can talk to the guys at the inn to set aside a room for everyone. I hope. Uh...Yeah....I don't really know how else I can thank you guys, so I can at least try..."
He remained quiet afterwards as they pulled outta the station! Snowflake here we come!
[And that's an exit from me.]
