Despite the massive, terrifying battle that took place in Terminus City over the summer, Adrian and Shoutmon still like the city, so today they decided to just take a break from rogue-hunting and explore possibly the biggest city either of them has ever been to.
"Hopefully there'll be less 'kill kill stab stab' during this trip," Shoutmon joked as the two of them walked through the streets along with various other types of Digimon.
"Yeah, less of that would be nice," Adrian commented. "Also, let's not take directions from someone with terrible handwriting."
"How come we always have a crappy experience in this city?"
"Who said that last one was crappy? I had a great time with Agumaru! I wonder how he's doing...?"
"Who knows, maybe-" Shoutmon was cut off by suddenly having his tail stepped on by a passing Leomon, causing Shoutmon to yell really loud. "HEY! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING, FURBALL!"
That confrontation ended with the Leomon now chasing the Tamer and Digimon throughout Terminus.

Wakako didn't have many friends to begin with, her time in the Digital World not exactly given her many chances to meet people who weren't dismissive of her because of her age or her true race... Frankly, it felt like tons of Digimon did not like humans (especially young humans); a big reason why the young girl had taken to the habit of donning a spirit form mostly these days. In a way, it was kind of a similarity she had with probably Mae... She didn't think much of it initially, but Mae's claims that people seemed to not exactly like Meicoomon much were sadly quite true.
Well, any good friend would do whatever they could to help a friend in need... Which was the reason why Wakako had brought Mae to Terminus City to begin with! After all, if a human could take on the guise of a Digimon to hide their true self; a Digimon could hide their true self by disguising as a human!
"Don't worry Mae, theres TONS of people here in Terminus! No one can really do much to you here... We're just part of the crowd!" the Spirit Wielder in one of her human-hybrid forms (Chromiamon to be specific) attempted to reassure her fellow outcast as they maneuvered through the streets of Terminus. All they'd need to do is find the mall and buy a holosuit for Mae... and then all would be good!
Or well... probably would be good. Did she hear... screaming off in the distance? The lapine-like carbuncle's ears were very sensitive, and well... the commotion between a certain duo and a very pissed off Leomon was noticeable enough.
N-Not that she wanted to get involved with that too... Man, she just wanted one day of her life to not be a complete mess.

Mae had resumed the form of a Keramon for this endeavor. She felt like that was the more incognito form to be using for traveling with Wakako. She wasn't quite sure what she wanted to do in the city but the girl did mention there was something here to help her. What could possibly help her? "...There's a lot. It's kind of scary..." They really were part of a crowd and it was a whole...thing.
She heard screeching and yelling and she turned to see one angry Leomon chasing after some red thing and a human. "...That guy has a sword. I think he's going to give them a big slappa." Their fault for nappa. "...Maybe they might get eaten. Hmmm..."

"REPEAT THAT TO MY FACE, LOUDMOUTH!" The Leomon yelled as he chased Adrian and Shoutmon down the streeet.
"No, I actually think that sounds like a bad idea right now," Shoutmon quipped through the apparent fear in his eyes. As they were running, they passed by a Chromiamon and a Keramon, instantly turning a corner to go hide in an alley. The look on their faces pretty much told them:
Please don't rat us out.
Soon the Leomon would stomp on over to the alley, but could not see them anywhere. At first, he thought he had lost the two. But then he realized the pair of friends standing there. Intimidatingly, he would look over the two and ask very sternly:
"Where are those two? You two should have seen them running by. Where did they go?"
Adrian was preparing a Digiport in the meantime, in case they actually decided to rat them out.

Wakako gave her Keramon friend a gentle, reassuring smile... She knew probably how scary this must be for Mae, but she had promised them that things would be okay. If ANYONE dared try and mess with Mae, she was inclined to kick someone's ass. NO ONE was allowed to hurt Mae while she was around. "It will be all good soon... When we're done, you'll feel way more comfortable walking around places!" the Champion level chimed, at least confident things would be fine until then.
However, things seemed to have taken a more complicated turn as a tamer and Shoutmon ran by them... a particularly loud and angry Leomon questioning them regarding the whereabouts. Now, it WOULD have been lying to say no... but honestly, Wakako didn't want anything to do with this; especially nothing involving angry lion men with swords. Rather, the Chromiamon instead pointed down the street. "I saw something red and a human go that way. Hope that helps mister." the carbuncle spoke... hoping least the Leomon would fall for it.
Look, it wasn't that she was trying to be nice... but she didn't like conflict.

Mae stared at Wakako for a few moments...before she nodded. Okay. Okay. She believed her friend when she said everything was going to be okay. However, she and her pal were now faced with a big angry furry cat guy with a sword that was rather hellbent on finding two people that honestly looked a little dumb.
Actually, hell, all three of them looked kinda dumb...Now, the two had a choice. Lie, or snitch. Mae's choice was rather simple in nature. "Well, I did see two people run past here but let's be real, they probably got lost in the crowd or something..." She pointed in the same way Wakako did. "They were really fast, and it sounded like they were screaming like little weenies."
