Justice nodded sagely at Armadillomon, putting his hands into his pockets and looking back at where he last saw Gumdramon. Obviously, the thought of what's going on in his mind right now was starting to eat him. Was it his fault? Was their something that he was keeping from him and Veemon? He finally spoke up.
"Umm... not really." he said, still trying to find what to say next. Veemon sat on the staircase. He had an idea what was going on with his little bro. He nudged at Justice's knee. "Give him some space for a while. Pretty sure that's what he wants."
The answer was obvious the Justice. Sure, maybe giving him some space would calm him down,. But at the same time, he can't help but what to know what's going on with him. They were partners after all, so they have to trust each other with everything. "I'm mean... I guess." he said. He sat alongside with Veemon on the staircase, putting his hands on his face in frustration. After a few moments. he raised his head up.
"You know, when I woke up today, I did not expect like something like this to happen. I mean, I had plan to take you two to the Digital World since I was too busy studying last week." He sighed. "I guess that's out of the window."
"Digital World? Didn't know the Digimon had their own world. That's probably where they originated from." Connor thought to himself.
As Justice And Veemon go to the staircase to talk, Connor and Armidillomon were still standing there. Connor wanted to go to this place while his Digimon just wanted to eat."Hey, don't humans have food with them almost all the time?" Armadillomon asked Connor, looking at him. His tamer chuckled as he started to pick him up but, he stopped before he knew it was okay with him. Armadillomon nodded as Connor picked him up, cradling him. It was a bit heavy for him as Connor struggled at first but, managed to get the hang of it.
He went over to Justice and Veemon at the staircase as he looked at them. "You guys need anything?" He asked them.
Justice only shrugged his shoulder at Connor's question. Feeling confused and without a direction to turn to, or a direction in which to approach his Digimon about his sudden outburst. He started to wonder if he went too far when confronted him, which is probably the reason why he left. So far this day wasn't turning out as he anticipated - as he had planned. He lifted his head, sweeping his hand through his hair and regained any lost composure. In seconds his face was a portrait of determination. No negative emotions filtered through, no sadness. Totally in control. If there was one thing he was good at, he was good at hiding his emotions.
"Ah na, man. I don't need anything." When Armidillomon mentioned about food. Justice dig through his pockets and took out a breakfast bar. "And well, you're not entirely wrong about humans having food on them all the time. I just so happen to carry something with me just in case I need a little pick-me-up." He handed the Armidillo Digimon the treat with a smile.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Veemon butted in. He stood up to his full height, arms folded, raising an eye at his partner. "I'm hungry too, ya know!
"Sorry, sorry! I forgot that you had nothing to eat today. You're cool with sharing Armidillomon?" he asked him
“Perfect sync, huh?” Justice mummered to himself, leaning against the stairwell, a small concerned frown marrowed his lips. Leaving him in a bit of thought over his other Digimon a bit further. Vee, realizing the rut he’s in, goes up to Connor to offer a proposal.
”Hey, since you’ve never been to the Digital World, why don’t you come with us? That’s the world where all Digimon resides. Everything you know about this world, forget all about it. It will be like a whole new universe to you, except you’ll probably see a few things that are familiar to you like buildings, human food, trees, lakes, sun, so on and so on.”
"I'll be lying if I said I didn't want to go," Armiddilomon said. Considering that he just got here, he wanted to go back for a while.
"Me too. However, I'm assuming that there's more of you guys who aren't going to be so friendly when we get there." Connor spoke to Veemon.
"Oh, I'm sure we'll watch all of our backs." Armidillomon chimed in cheerfully.
Connor smiled at his partner under his bandanna. It was kind of his first time actually being more happier than usual in awhile. Granted, he wasn't sad at first but, there was really nothing to be happy about back at New Orleans, Louisiana. It was more like a mundane life but, the second he picked up the D-3, now everything seemed to be changing around him.
