So... she had actually done it.With barely anything left to lose after the past and present had repaid her passion and sweat with complete apathy, this was where Cion was at. She future she desired was entirely in her own paws, unbound to the whim of those she had previously followed. Neither dearly beloved nor guiding superiors remained to guide her steps. For the first time in her existence, she was truly and utterly independent. All the eons and efforts... suddenly, they felt as if they meant nothing. However, where a life ended another began. She was anxious, but thanks to her familiarity with business due to her association with the abandoned organization PROFIT, she honestly knew exactly on how to begin things. With relationships from previous collaborations, gaining supports for her cause was not difficult. Companies and dreamers were certainly intrigued by her undertaking, was it for personal or entrepreneurial reasons. Ultimately, it mattered not to the restrained Arniomon. As long as she had assets and her riches at her disposal, everything would go smoothly more or less. Yet there were aspects she needed to fix to attain autonomy for ASCENSION. For this, a team of like-minded, exceptional individual was necessary. This evening, she hoped to befriend two at once. With her laptop at hand, the silver fennec sat at a table of one of the many restaurants that littered the shores of Whitewater. It was a fancy building similar to something people would find in Venice. The amber and crimson sheen of the setting sun reflecting on the ocean's glittering surface veiled the town in a cozy, calming hue. Despite the soothing atmosphere of this color play and the scent of gourmet food, her aureate eyes often swayed to different focus points. The small fox was quite nervous, though she tried her best to hide that from public perception. The last thing others may think of her was a scared lotus-eater. Good impressions, that was what she had to make on everyone she met - allies, impartial folks and opposers alike. This was too great of an endeavor for uncertainty to hold her back again as it had done for ages. Taking in a deep breath, Cion folded her hands and straightened her fine, black suit. .o( Professionalism, etiquette and enthusiasm. Nothing new to you, lady. Everything's alright...)o.

Ah the city of Whitewater, a place that usually had fun encounters in store for the human and digimon pair. But today was different, they were not rolling a dice and letting chance take control of their day here. No, they are here to meet a certain someone by the name of Cion, a certain dreamer with a beautiful dream. While Royland was doing his daily surf on the internet back in the human world, the vastiness of information stored there fascinated the spadamon. But once there Roy somehow managed to stumbled on an invitation to a team, was it random chance or perhaps Kismet ? Either way explored the depths of the team goals, he was simply mesmerized. Ever since the day of his rebirth, Roy desired a cause for him to swing his blade a reason that will benefit others.
Perhaps a reason similar to the one he fought for when he donned the flag of Dukemon, but alas he could not find it. But destiny would not abandon the white lion, as ASCENSION opened a door of possibility Roy thought was sealed forever. In his joy and excitement Royland almost sent a resumè, but stopped himself and called for Kazuya to come and see this.
The cynical tall man was in his pajamas and held his coffee mug with his dominant right hand, he initially to humor the feelings of his friend and read this. But alas moments later and he found himself completely enthralled, to the point of forgetting to take sips from his coffee. Kazuya loved those who have beautiful dreams, the dreams that transcend the now and affect the future. He had his own dreams but he learned to stop having dreams and chase the harsh reality and get money even if it meant living alone. But after reading about the team, Kazuya wanted to be a part of the dream and wanted to help this dreamer acheive it, he trusted he has the skill to help make it a reality. So the partners looked eachother, with a silent nod they sent their applications and soon got a place to meet up with Cion. After Kazuya changed to some buisness casual clothes that consisted of the colors green and black, the two headed out to chase a dream.
And that's how the two of them found themselves in Whitewater, after basking the beautiful air, the chatter of digimon and the lively atmosphere of the city, the two found themselves in the restaurant where they should meet Cion. After looking around for a second Kazuya spotted her, the two of them approached them. Royland the spadamon spoke first "Ahem, hello there you must be lady Cion, allow us to introduce ourselves." He then placed his tiny paw upon his chest armor "My name is Sir Royland the brave, but you may call me Roy if you so desire. This is my partner his name is." He gestured at Kazuya to allow him to introduce himself.
"My name is Kazuya Oda, it's a pleasure to meet you Cion. I must say after reading about your goal, I am rather amazed by it. I look forward to get the know the person behind it. "The handsome tall man had a brilliant and shiny smile on his face, he believes that the beauty of the dream reflects on the beauty of the dreamer, today he will test his hypothesis.
"I have to agree with Kazuya, it's simply wonderful. I would be delighted to offer my services, but lets not get ahead of ourselves shall we ? Now lets enjoy each others company, may we have a seat?" Royland said as he thought of the possibility of conducting the meeting elsewhere, but should she say yes the two would simply take a seat and begin their interview.

Enthralled by her own thoughts and internal monologue, the sudden appearance of a stranger's voice caused Cion to flinch. Staring at the Spadamon with large, fluffy ears that peaked towards the sky, she was suddenly glad that she had not yelped. Would have been a shame to leave this as a first, negative impression. Taking in another deep breath, the silver fennec nodded several times, her distracted frown turning into a rapt smile. The white lion and the handsome man by his side were the individuals she had expected. They had actually come - and they were courteous. Excellent!
Gladly bowing to the chivalric warrior, uncertainty quickly left her agitated soul. "It is a great pleasure to meet you, Roy. Please, just call me Cion as well." She kindly introduced herself with all the grace and amicability the fine lady enjoyed carrying herself with. Enchanted by the outstandingly polite fighter, her focus shifted to his partner, Kazuya.
Though not apparently a knight of yore, the young adult displayed similar civility, immediately causing the restrained Arniomon's simper to become toothy. "The feelings are mutual." What a jackpot she had hit with her initial attempts to build a circle of heralds. It made her wonder of how many people secretly shared her dream, too anxious to pursue it themselves. The potential...
Shaking her head contently, the kind words of her new acquaintances truly delighted her. If only she had encountered such charming folk before. Alas, the past could not be changed, which was the very reason why she was here pursuing her vision of the future and sharing it with those who carried hope and benevolence in their hearts. "That is terrific to hear. A-and of course! Please, take a seat." She happily invited her company to spend the radiant evening together with her; outside and close to the beach where serenity, tranquility and a wholesome meal could be savored.
Putting her laptop on the fourth chair that nobody occupied, a few seconds of silence went by with the small fox uncertain on how to begin their interview and leisure time. Scratching her chin, she eventually motioned the two gentlemen to have a look at the menu. "Feel free to order whatever dishes or beverages you'd like. It's the least I can do for you taking your time for this meeting." Cion chummily offered them a proper dinner at this fancy inn. Hungry herself, she hoped that sufficed to break the ice further.

lips curled up to form a genuine and honest smile, he found the grace and charm of Cion, to be simply delightful. But he did not expect less from the person who moved his soul with her dream, this seemed like the right thing to do, or at least that's what his heart said. "The pleasure is all mine, and I shall honor your request and call you simply, Cion." He said with a curious bow, he admired those who are not afraid to dodge the silliness of formality. At least when it came to casual meetings like this, of course when the team gets bigger he will expect some formality, for the sake of order. But why put the cart when we do not have the horse ready ? For now he should enjoy the simplicity of today.
Kazuya was happy to find that so far, he was not wrong. Cion seemed delightful to say the least and now they can simply relax, his underlying cynical nature can be put to rest for today. "Thank you Cion." The man said as the two took a seat, ready to fully revel in this majestic weather. Today might prove to be a day to remember, as they could have found the dream worth chasing. The leader worth following, this was not something people can usually find, some live their whole life with no purpose. A fate Kazuya almost suffered had he not meant Roy by chance, nay fate arranged their meeting. But today was not a day to dwell on what could have been, it was a day that future historians may look back to as the start of an Epoch of greatness.
Royland was honestly hungry, his excitement made him forget to listen to his stomach. He could not ignore his hunger anymore, so hearing Cion's offer was a god send. "Thanks a lot for your generosity Cion, I humbly accept your offer. I desire the fine cuisine from this establishment, I made a fool out of my self. I was so excited for this meeting, I forgot to eat." Royland began to chuckle around, he found his blunder quite amusing to him.
Kazuya could not help himself but be drawn in by the knight's infectious joy and chuckled himself, the pleasant atmosphere set a delightful tone to this meeting. "Alright, I can't say no to such a nice offer so, I will get some tea with brandy if you don't mind Cion." The slow start was something Kazuya loved, no need to rush the meeting. If they should work together on such a giant dream, the best approach would indeed be the slow one, since that way both parties can get to know each other better.

Even gallant when it came to such inconsequential things as the proper title, or lack their of, while addressing an acquaintance. No matter what the future had in store for them, bliss or adverse winds, Cion was confident that she had found an excellent friend in Roy the Spadamon. If everyone was as noble as him, dreams like the one she carried would be completely irrelevant. The world would have already been made into a digital Utopia. Alas, that was not reality. Still, it fueled the flickering fire of her heart with confidence and trust.
Not saying a word for to her it was a given to offer them a seat for their jovial evening in Whitewater, the silver fennec merely watched them dwelling on their thoughts and impressions for a couple of seconds. She had no doubt that uncountable notions and sentiments must have surged in a maelstrom of emotions inside their minds. This was uncharted and unprecedented territory for all of them, hence she gladly gave the duo the time they needed to formulate the sentences they sought to utter. Kazuya and his partner would certainly choose wisely, making her hope that her behavior and sincere words today nudged them towards greatness.
Amused by the white lion's reserved humor, Cion nodded with a warm smile, gleeful to see that he accepted her suggestion. She did not intend to be perceived as generous or, perish the thought, a briber. The dinner was simply her way of expressing her gratitude to bravers who appeared interested in improving this plain of existence they shared. Thanks to PROFIT, may it remain fond memories, she had accumulated more wealth than she would ever know how to spend for herself and her family. Of course this money was ideal for investing in ASCENSION, but a little indulgence tonight did likely not hurt her cause.
"I enjoy gatherings in restaurants for that very reason. Fine food... plenty of content smiles." She calmly explained one of the reasons she had chosen this enchanting location for their meeting. If anywhere they'd establish their prospective cooperation, why not a place of pleasure and serenity? As of the comely man, the restrained Arniomon was openly surprised to learn that he was a fan of... inebriating substances. Of course there were worse cravings, which was why she chose her next comments carefully as not to alienate the lad. "Nothing wholesome? No meal?"
Obviously, the small fox wanted her companions with clear minds so their decision was genuine. However, she had no intention of undermining another's free will. Inhaling quietly but deeply, she took a look at the menu and swiftly decided. "Boeuf Stroganoff sounds wonderful. That will be my choice." She declared confidently, hoping that her exquisite pick incentivised the others to choose a palatable dish as well.

Royland felt something strange, if he had to describe it he would have to say that it feels like the embers of a strong flame called friendship beginning to start. How brilliant will the flame burn, it's up to the two like-minded people. But meeting Cion was a happy occasion Royland needed, a reminder no matter who tough times can be, there is always a reward to those who persevere through the challenges that life presented. At least that what he chooses to believe, a core belief in his simple and honest way of life.
At their seat, Roy took a moment to scan the place. What he found was a beautiful scene, nothing fantastical happened but it did not need to happen. As the simple scene of life moving peacefully was enough to be labelled beautiful by the white pelted lion. Its this straight forward belief in the good inside people that made him not even consider Cion's action be anything other than honest goodwill, was it a naïve way to think ? Possibly, but its what he believes, he enjoyed trusting others over the opposite. Royland would be amused by Kazuya's pick as he managed to guess it, this helped reassure the fact that Roy knows Kazuya the most these days and hopefully he will be successful in ending the man's solitude. He believed ASCENSION could be the place.
Kazuya turned towards the small Cion as she looked at him, her eyes pondered about his strange decision. This in turn made him have a reserved smile "yes, truth be told I am quite full. Had I not eaten, I would have accepted your offer for a meal. But for now, a cup of tea with brandy is my choice. Drinking tea in this weather looks to be a good choice, don't you agree ?" He said as he could not get enough of the lovely air, and feel of the place, if that makes any sense.
Roy's attention was caught by the bizarre name of the food Cion picked, he was instantly interested in the same thing she picked and made a swift decision. "I shall have the Boeuf Stroganoff as well, truth be told I have not had it, but I do find the ability to try something new to be admirable, for all I know this could be my new favourite instead of Sushi. So why not try it ?" Royland said with a confident look on his eyes, he did not fear change and encouraged trying new things. Hopefully he does not regret his choice.

If only Sir Royland knew how much his and Cion's opinions and emotions aligned. The atmosphere of Whitewater at dusk was truly wonderful - a peace she wished for all of the digital world and its inhabitants and visitors. She too desired to grant others trust tentatively and was often rewarded with genuine friendship in return. It was difficult with her recent setbacks that made her prudent and fervent, but when considering the kindness her guests had displayed towards her, she had no doubt that they were good people with pure intentions. In time, they would recognize the same of her.
Carefully listening to Kazura's calm answer, the silver fennec found herself nodding in agreement. It was obvious that this man was bright and responsible, so what harm could some special flavor to his tea cause? It was probably just her caution and profound aversion to anything inimical that caused her previous jumpiness. As with Kan, wondering whatever had happened to the fine adult, she simply had to have faith in her acquaintance's judgment. Hence it was a confident smile that she acknowledged his decision. "Very well, I agree. But do ask if you change your mind." She kindly voiced the permanence of her offer.
Glad that her faux pas had not created a rift between her and her new associates, Cion's attention shifted back to the Spadamon who apparently took a liking in her chosen meal for the reason that it was a novelty to him. An Inquisitive knight, eh? Excellent, for cosmopolitanism and a healthy thirst for knowledge were virtues in her point of view. "Indeed, why not?" The small fox asked rhetorically, certain that the proud warrior would grow fond of this dish made from sliced meat, mushrooms and a delectable sauce of varying spices. Perfect with rice or noodles.
It did not take long for a chummy waiter to note down their order. As to be expected, a quarter to half hour waiting time was necessary to prepare the wholesome dinner. This however granted the trio plenty of moments to relish this place's beauty and quietude. Few younglings and adults remained on the nearby beach, the streets were illuminated in the colors of the rainbow yet distant enough to not be distracting, and the sun slowly yet steadily gave way for the radiant moon and twinkling stars.
Sighing quietly, the vulpine entrepreneur folded her paws on her hip and beheld Kazura and Roy. "So... do you wish to already talk business; or ask questions?" She stated her desire to... enthuse them for her impetus.

Kazuya appreciate the worry Cion displayed, it was a subtle action. But its things like this that shows the true colors of a person, it's just something that Kazuya learned from his experience as a sales rep. He learned how to do his best to read the mood of others, initially it was a thing he learned to simply sell cars more easily, but it quickly turned to a habit of his. Now from his very brief interactions with Cion, he noticed something very genuine about her. Its like she honestly wanted to make the world a better place, a quality so rare he never saw it in a lot of people including himself. But its a trait he is now familiar with thanks to him being exposed to Royland, the lion's sheer honesty and simple elegance even affected the golden eyed man. Making him change his ways and open up to society once more, something that would make him eternally grateful to the little knight. But he shifted his focus back onto Cion, who seem to have accepted his choice, but leaving the chance to change open to him. "Alright, if I desire something else I will let you know." The man said, in a calm and soothing matter.
Roy had a radiant smile on his face, the look on his face was that of a happy man as the radiant and welcoming eyes stared into Cion's own eyes. Meeting someone like Cion that understood him and his straightforward way of life, was something that brought joy to Roy's own being. The delight he felt was among the most intense he has felt since he got to be Kazuya's partner, it felt really nostalgic reminding him of the day he had as a knight under Dukemon. "See! You understand Cion, how I wish brilliant people like you were more common this age, perhaps the world would have been better. Which is why I want to join you, to make that be a dream no more, and we turn ambition into an absolute reality. " he said as his gaze was at sky, as if he was a flightless bird determined to one day reach the far sky.
But his partner had his gaze on the rainbow, his eyes told a more somber story. A story of a man wondering how can he make a difference, as he looked at the majestic rainbow with a reserved envy. It was a beautiful thing, something Kazuya wondered if he can ever re-create, giving his selfish decision that damaged the heart of a woman he loved. Perhaps this was his chance for redemption. The two of them send the waiter away with a smile on both of their faces.
Kazuya then leaned back on his chair, he crossed his arms. His gaze was on the table as he took a couple of seconds to think about his choice of words. "Well, I do have a couple of question that I will liked to have answers for first, if you do not mind of course. Well first is aside from the present company, how many members do you have ? And how are we gonna get the funds we need ? And lastly do we have a base of operations ?" Kazuya bombarded Cion with questions, but this should only prove to show how serious he is about all of this. Roy waited patiently for two things, his mind desired answers while his stomach desired food.

Excellent... Kazuya remained on her good side and appreciated her offer. That was a mistake almost made, yet narrowly avoided as she had a tendency to do so. Nodding affirmatively, Cion's aureate irises shifted to Sir Royland who seemed to inspect her thoroughly with his smiling gaze. Was there something about her that the white lion found interesting or appealing? Not bothered in the slightest by his inquisitiveness, their gazes met, a lingering, gracile grin on the small fox's cute muzzle.
With his eyes alone, he appeared to express true elation, which was rather surprising but pleasant to the ancient guardian. Was it her words, intentions and presence that brought him so much happiness? If yes, that was a compliment that delighted her a thousandfold - because that was exactly what she desired. However, she did not want herself to be the reason for such bliss. She wanted a world where all people looked at each other and experienced this kind of pure harmony. It was an unrealistic and kitschy sentiment, but who knew? In the digital realm, everything was at least conceivable. With hard work, time and passion... perhaps even feasible.
Touched and enchanted by the proud knight's statement, it was obvious that the restrained Arniomon was not used to endearing compliments and support. Nervously scratching her cheek with a giggle on her lips, it took her a couple of seconds to respond properly without stammering. "You abash me, Roy." She uttered coltishly before her voice slowly faded as she masked a great effort to not tear up. "But... thank you - seriously. This means a lot to me." Taking in a deep breath, her head tilted towards the radiant, amber ocean. Wow... this has gotten far more emotional than expected. Swallowing her nervousness, her intention was to continue carrying herself with stalwart professionalism.
Moments of repose passed them by until peace finally returned to previously agitated souls. As much as sweet-talk was charming, it was probably better for the trio to begin discussing their future. After all, improving the entire planet was not a piece of cake that could be finished devoid of actual projects. Thankfully, both Kazuya and the Spadamon agreed with this notion, making her look forward towards a lovely Q&A. "Of course, ask away." Cion offered openly, hoping that no questions were left unanswered past this comfortable evening.
"There are two other valiant fighters, and some acquaintances I still anticipate an answer from. Beyond that, I have friends that are leaders of known organizations. The Knights of Rose, AEGIS, the 7/71st Recon - heroes with their own ambitions I am confident will appreciate and support my aspirations." ... "Funding I will do personally at the beginning. I am quite wealthy due to my time with PROFIT - until it was closed. But I still have plenty of contacts and potential partners I am on cordial terms with. Smart entrepreneurs are rare but available if one knows where to look. I do. I'm sure they enable us to produce capital - production, tourism or what method is best. And during downtime, there are always contracts worth pursuing for a big pay. Another fiend that needs to be dealt with and such." ... "As for the base, it is currently under construction and will serve as the Capitol of the new nation I intend to craft. It's not cheap, but it will be a shining beacon that will attract visitors, businessmen and residents. Thankfully, building is quite a fast process in our dimension. I've heard it can take a figurative eternity on Earth."
Hopefully, these lengthy answer satisfied the curiosity of her new companions. That and ending with a touch of esprit cemented her confidence.

Royland kept staring at Cion with a gleeful and optimistic look, he did not think about how rude that may be perceived, but for this instant in time he did not care. As the nostalgic feel of Cion completely dominated the digimon, as the air around the small digimon was too familiar to him. And while he did not know Cion for any lengthy period of time, what he knew or atleast what he thinks he knows was enough to convince him about Cion's good will. That all can be seen his honest bright eyes as it displayed one of Roy's many characteristics, he is too honest and does not try to hide how he feels, yes he is not an idiot and knows that not everyone appreciates the truth, but he wont go to any length to try to hide it and will say what's on his mind if asked.
But a part of Roy wanted this feeling to emanate from more people than just Cion, a world where benevolence is not a rare trait among a scarce few, but instead turns into a society norm. A place where everyone can live in perfect harmony, a dream he long but gave up on and instead settled for the ability to ONLY protect those close to him, but seeing Cion today and reading about her dream made him realize that there is no reason to give up and that he will continue to work on creating the utopia he fought for in his previous life.
Royland looked at Cion with bewilderment in his eyes, it seemed like his words reached the Arinmon and gave her some enjoyment. But when she thanked him, he simply shook his head. "No, while I am glad that my humble opinion was something that brought you jubilation, I do not see them as something to thank me for. These are the things I truly feel from the core of my heart, if anything I should be the one to thank you Cion. " He said as his gestured with his hand, his face did not change from the predictable yet natural smile as the euphoria Roy is feeling is too bright and genuine, anyone who lays eyes on him will understand how he feels.
But when it came time for the Arinmon to answer the questions the golden eyed man has presented, both the human and digimon exuded an air of curiously as the body language of Kazuya changed from that of a relaxed star-gazer, to that of a student ready to absorb the information that will bestowed upon him. The two nodded at every answers as the formulated their next statements, but operations seemed smoother than they expected it to be. The thing that caught the attention of the two the most was the revelation that Cion was a member of PROFIT, the same organization Colin, Luke and Bellamy were from, but why was it defunct ? Hopefully nothing bad happened to their friends.
"Wonderful! So we have two other allies we can trust with internal affairs, that is great news. And to hear that you have some strong connections with other faction leaders is a big asset to the cause. " he said with a smile, he had a pause. To allow his partner to insert his own thoughts.
"It seems like you have the funding planned out, amazing! I would offer my blade, by doing some bounty hunting I can bring Justice to the loose criminals and earn money to support our cause. But If I may, I could not but help but notice you say you were from PROFIT, we know people from there. Colin James and his partners Luke and Bellamy, do you know them ? And if so would you please ease my mind and tell me what happened to them and PROFIT ? " Roy was obviously worried about them, he only met them recently and their meeting were rather brief, but he was still fond of them and wished good fortune upon them.
After another pause Kazuya chimed in "I see so it's under construction, that is good news. I guess all my questions has been answered, I no longer have anything to ask now. And suffice to say this seems like a well thought out endeavour, alright we would like to offer our services to the noble cause. But first its only ideal for us to switch roles and for you to ask us any question you so desire." Kazuya said with a cordial smile as he leaned back on his chair, he was ready for the interview to properly begin and to see what requirements Cion deems appropriate for her goal.

Dear Yggdrasil... Sir Royland continued to fuel the rosy blush of glee on her cheeks. How come someone as noble and benign had been a stranger to Cion for her entire existence? The notion was truly a shame, but that did not prevent her from crafting a strong bond with him today on this lovely evening in Whitewater. With a figurative and possibly literal eternity awaiting them and the digital realm, it was never too late to pursue ambitions and friendships. In the proud knight and his convivial partner, she had certainly found outstanding companions.
"What I say is the same, Roy. From the core of my heart." She wholeheartedly assured him that their passion was absolutely mutual. They shared felicity and hopes for the future they intended to craft. Weird that she felt closer to the white lion than most of her dearly beloved friends. They held her desire for a better tomorrow as well, but they were stuck with their reactive pet causes. It was only her, and to an extent the Deeplane Council, that were inherently proactive. Unfortunately, reactions seldom bequeathed something lasting. There was always another fiend - a vicious cycle that she longed to finally break.
To the restrained Arniomon's delight, both Kazuya and the chivalric Spadamon quietly absorbed her confident answers like a sponge. Hopefully, she had impressed them with her achievements thus far, fueling the fire of their fervor that had caused them to contact her in the first place. Nodding as she faced the adult male, she agreed with the sentiment that additional allies and associates, especially those of great renown, were beneficial to their unrivaled project. Considering some of those she considered acquaintances assisted Rosewood, was it too far-fetched to believe they would not assist their plans, too?
Visibly appreciating the gallant warrior's offer to do mercenary work to fund their critical endeavor, Cion's large ears peaked regardless upon hearing the names of an utmost familiar, cherished trio. "I consider them my best friends." She calmly voiced her affection for them before easing the worried soul with a simple gesture of her paw. "Never fear. Everyone is of good health. The organization was merely closed due to a lack of its founders' interest to continue it." She confidently guaranteed that everything was fine and dandy, which it was. After all, PROFIT's closure sparked the inception of ASCENSION, no matter the anguish she experienced as another phase and joy of life was taken from her from outside forces.
Not lamenting the story of her being though, the vulpine sentinel's attention was instead on the interview she had in store for them - something they had anticipated. However, given words uttered and emotions displayed, she already knew most she needed to know. With a rapt grin, she showed her fondness for them, looking forward to a splendid time of bliss and prosperity. There was but a single question left - that of perseverance.
"You grasp the magnitude of this dream, correct? Years, maybe decades of effort and potential setbacks will be required to establish a proper foundation. We are creating a state that is meant to be a Utopia - a beacon for all digimons and humans that are tired of brutal naturalism and other cities' glaring flaws. It's a mission; a calling. Are you absolutely sure of your devotion... and personal sacrifices it might entail?" The fervent fox explained firmly, not wanting them to do a mistake they regretted. ASCENSION was a venture few dared to undergo - less were capable of enduring it.
After several eternities of stagnation, Cion undoubtedly was.

Today continues to prove to be a magnificent day for the white pelted knight, a day of beautiful stars, great weather and genuine, honest friendship. The more he got to converse with his would be leader, the more he got to grasp the magnitude of her benevolence, she had the virtues present in great leaders. Soon he find it easier for him to engage in battle for her cause, but why think of that now, when he can sit here and enjoy her fascinating presence as simple like minded folks.
Her simple and elegant words reached him, as he was moved by her honesty. And with a smile on his face he simply nodded, in a world tainted by war, greed, lust and malice. The most valuable treasure is friendship, a person who shares your ideals. And Royland met a couple of people he can call friends, but the fire of the kinsmanship that burned between him and the Arinomon was stronger than usual. He desired to grow the flame into something the shines through the darkness, and let their shared passion be a beacon for those who lost hope and reignite the flame within every dreamer too afraid to reach for the stars, and give the beauty of courage to those who initially lost it.
Both Kazuya and Royland where surprised by the familiarity between Cion and Colin, Luke and Bellamy. It was fun reminder that the world is smaller than they think, and that destiny had a lot in store for them. Royland was visibly relieved when Cion assured him, the trio was safe and that was a thing that made him really happy. "I am glad to hear that, and I see you are friends. Makes sense, I have respect for those people and its wonderful people to get along." Royland said with a smile on his face as his eyes drifted off to the horizon and the unknown, what does fate have in store for him regarding those three, will he ever encounter them again ? Only time will tell.
Kazuya smirked, it was as if he had anticipated the questions. He adjusted his seat and turned his full focus on Cion. "Correct, what we seek is building a nation. Not just any nation, it's a nation that is strong enough to serve as a beacon of hope. So yes, there is even the possibility of this transcending my life span. As the myriad of things we need to work through, will prove difficult. We need a court of like-minded and talented individuals, and then we need to maintain the unity of that court. Control all internal affairs, alot of nation crumble from within. Then there is the external affairs and the military force to protect us from outside attacks. That does not begin to cover the faculties we need to have, so yes we are aware of the challenges and sacrifices that comes with building a nation, but we are ready for it, as long as you, the same person who moved us with your dream is our leader." Kazuya said with an honest and sincere look.
Royland nodded after his partner said his piece, "Yes Cion, I wished for a cause. A noble cause that will give me purpose as a knight and that purpose must be to serve you and your cause, so wont you grant this humble digimon his request. And quench my yearning for a just ruler. " Roy said in a quite reserved manner.

If only Cion had the ability to read the thoughts of those she encountered... well, she would not utilize it for it was a severe breach of personal space, but the opinions and sentiments of Sir Royland were utmost delightful and hortatory. Certainly he had stated plenty of them before with his eloquent diction, but her anguished and nervous soul absorbed every compliment and support like a sponge. Everything that bolstered her believes and ambitions she clung to as if she was a marsupial inside its mother's sac. And tonight she received lots to be affected by.
Indeed the digital world, despite its incredible vastness, appeared to be a small realm where most people knew each other for a reason or two. Seldom the restrained Arniomon encountered a stranger who was not familiar with the trio, Owen, K, Kan, Toki and her others friends and acquaintances. Naturally, as an ex-officer of PROFIT, she had close ties to Colin, Bellamy and Luke. After all, it was them who introduced her to the organization that unfortunately ceased to be. Alas, she could not and did not want to control the free wills of persons. If it was merely her who was willing to carry the torch of ascent... then so be it.
Happy to have eased her new comrades' worries, the silver fennec nodded, sharing the impressions she had on them. It was a shame that they were hesitant to consider leading ASCENSION alongside her, but if they preferred to assist Sophie's tiny yet valuable cause then that was their decision to make. A lovable set of friendly faces would have been great to have by her side, but such fortune was rarely bestowed upon her. Thankfully, Kazuya and Roy were equally as wonderful, if not more so considering their love for life.
Carefully listening to the young man's response, true amazement graced her face as she recognized the sincerity of their devotion. They understood exactly what it took to build a nation, especially one that was meant to be a shining example for the entirety of this reality and its inhabitants - perhaps even Earth and mankind someday. "Outstanding..." Cion spoke under her breath, again finding it difficult to suppress her tears. She managed to, but both hidden pain and open bliss were pounding against her frame, craving to be released.
"Me a leader... how quaint." She commented which was primarily directed to herself. Chuckling, she was aware of herself as someone who had never done anything but follow another braver's heart. She did not intend to be exalted though - she was looking to craft a visionary leadership that inspired her supporters to voluntarily and independently strive for greatness - something that lasted even if she was one day no more. But that was too far in the future to be a reasonable thought today.
Closing her eyes, the white lion's honorable request humbled her greatly. An individual freely desired to be led by her and her critical endeavor. Inhaling deeply through her stub nose, she gave the benevolent warrior a firm nod as she revealed her aureate irises again. "Few things would make me happier than knowing you by my side." The female fox declared without doubts, hoping to be precisely what the Spadamon longed for.
Fortunately, the scent and sudden appearance of their palatable, big meals served as a relieve of tension. She did not perceive their encounter as strenuous, but it was uncharted territory to her. Expectations, hopes, dreams... they were no longer solely hers.

Kazuya enjoyed the look on his partner's face, the golden eyed man could tell that Roy was really enjoying himself. The look on the lion's eyes was something to behold, the honest and strong exuberant nature of the knight was at full force today. The sensation of pure uncorrupted joy overwhelmed Kazuya, as he soon found himself happy as his gaze reached the stars for a brief moment, he may stop viewing the shiny stars with envy anymore. As he looked down, the raven haired man found himself in the company of two shiny stars. Royland and Cion, these two stars were strangers not too long ago and yet look at them now, the two were radiant.
And in the eyes of the proud knight, they were fast friends by now. Royland was not a stranger to having good relationships, so in any other setting he does not doubt the fact that he and Cion would have been also friends. But this was a more important cause than just friendship, the two would become comrades, sharing one goal. The creation of a great nation, and Royland intended to do his best, and assure that it no longer remains but a simple but a wonderful reality.
Kazuya would reflect upon his own words, the amount of challenges they would have to face is indeed something to worry about. 1 year ago, nay 3 months ago and Kazuya would have said its impossible and not bother with it any longer, but the influences of a lion that forgot the meaning of "surrender" has changed the tall man. He now relished the challenge and looked for ways to accomplish the seemingly impossible.
When Cion commented on her being the leader, the gazes of the partners crossed in a perplexed manner, before turning back to Cion. "But of course, the nation will need a leader, and we believe it should be you. Now I hope you do not think this means we are not going to help, both of us are more than wiling to do a lot of work and we will carry the responsibilities with you. " Kazuya said with a relaxed and calm smile, a smile he wore to help Cion accept the role of the leader.
Roy took a moment of silence his breath was steady, but then he took a deep breath before allowing his bright yellow eyes lock with Cion's once more. "Cion, should you take the role of our leader I will make you a promise as a noble knight. I swear I will be the sword that will fight for you, the shield that will protect you and most importantly the shoulder you can lean on. I swear I will never let the burden of leadership overwhelm you Cion, so let us look forward to a new age together. " Roy said with a heartfelt and sincere tone, the gaze upon his eyes was as forthright as any gaze can be, this was his un filtered feelings towards the team.
But moments later the meal would show up as he looked upon the food with an exited look as he was in fact, a hungry lion at this moment.

Cion supposed that it was true. While preferring a realm that required neither leadership nor control, there was something inherent about digital nature that made the young and weak revere the strong and wise. She was an ancient being with plenty of experience, wisdom, endurance, passion and compassion - not to mention the powers she had at her disposal as a digimon that had attained its apex form. Most of all, she had the gift of a versed word pool that had sufficed to already convince multiple people to join her cause.
Perhaps there was potential in her serving as a great leader to a world that finally deserved one. Hopefully, she would not let her followers down. Nodding, the silver fennec dismissed Kazuya's statement with a chuckle. "Of course. An advisory board is a necessity." She stated calmly, having mentioned aspects such as facts and consensus providing a basis for their actions as a team. The last thing she thought of herself was an omniscient empress. No... the more she and her ambitions were challenged, the greater the flower they would blossom into. No misjudgments, especially not her own, were tolerated to impede progress.
Gladly appreciating the continued smiles the lovely duo gifted her, her soul slowly attuned to the sentiment of acting as an archon. She knew the mistakes of others, hence she at least had the ability of learning from the past and present. Leading by example, that was what she desired to do. That it became actual management... it was in the end merely another burden she had to bear. For the sake of a better tomorrow, she proudly accepted it. That was her purpose and destiny she chose for herself - free of outsiders' influences.
Delighted by Sir Royland's infinite devotion, Cion folded her hands and carried on her muzzle a confident simper. "Very well. I will give everything to be the best I can for everyone. Though... I am quite pleased to know you by my side." She assured them that her decision was set. CEO and president; what a promotion. First however, there needed to be a nation to guide towards utopian ideals. For that, she required strength, which a tasty, wholesome meal certainly provided.
Feeling a massive hole in her fluffy tummy, the restrained Arniomon quietly took her cutlery and inhaled the palatable scent of her dish. "For today... I bid you an enjoyable dinner." With these kind words uttered, she silently took a bite of her roast. Without producing a single noise, she well-manneredly savored the meat's, mushroom's, noodles' and sauce's harmony of taste for a couple of seconds. Faint chewing motions were visible on the fox's maw as her head tilted to the glistering, amber ocean.
Like her mouthful, the first cornerstone was put into action. Accepting and welcoming her self-determined fate, she gently lifted her head up and swallowed. "Exquisite" - the morsel similar to the good news though; still requiring time to be properly digested. Nothing bad had happened. There was simply a thousand more tasks and bites in front of her.
