The moment Unica felt her fingers brush up against the Captain's soft, white fur, she exclaimed, "You're It!" To avoiding being immediately tagged back, Unica turned 90 degrees and ran between two of the tents, using her knowledge of the training grounds' geography to her advantage. After a few seconds of not hearing anything, she slowed to a stop so she could catch her breath. Simultaneously, she glanced over her shoulder to see if anyone was after her. It didn't appear so. She was completely alone, a thought that brought with it a sense of dread -- a dread that started to envelop her like a blanket. She let out a soft chuckle to try and lift her spirits before calling out, very quietly, "Snowball?"
There was no response, verifying the fact that she was alone. Of course, there was a chance that they were hiding from her, but it seemed more likely that she simply ran too far away from the game. Slowly, Unica made her way back the way she came, all the while frantically glancing around herself to make sure she wasn't about to get tagged. A few seconds later, she found her way back to the arena where Dinohumon and Bu were fighting. Seeing the way the two Digimon went at each other made Unica's heart throb with a sense of grief and regret, though she couldn't quite explain why.

Aha, Fuu managed to predict something correctly here! The moment Snowball would dart after her, she'd make a show of trying to get away from her (adoptive) son, not quite taking note of Unica running off from them. In time, the dog would indeed catch up to and tag mom, "Oh no, you got me!"
...At the very least, she was having some fun with this. They did run too far from Unica, though, so Fuu was gonna go for her next. She'd run towards the last direction she saw the girl run off in and called out, "Hey, Unica, gonna getcha!" She hadn't expected her headbutt to go through, but Bu had another problem on her hands in the form of basically being yeeted out by the Dinohumon to the edge of the arena.
She didn't have the reflexes of a cat, so she crashed into the ground, but what happened next was quite surprising. Earth compounded around Bu's body, coating the Rookie before the light of Digivolution burst through the rocks to reveal a new-like dragon with some mildly offensive-looking lips. Ginryumon. She made no further action, though.
...Did she even register that she digivolved? Fastball special hits! Bu crashes at the edge, but digivolves to Ginryumon. She makes no further action.

That had worked! Somehow, Xiamon managed to catch mom Fuu and tag her. What would be his next action, though? Right now, it didn't look like he was running away from the Dorumon. Instead, the dog was chasing after Unica as well! In what looked like a fairly nonconventional, yet fun strategy, Xiamon was running perpendicularly to Fuu, its intent apparently being to catch the small blonde in a pincer movement and corner her. Maybe too complex for a dog? Maybe, but that didn't make the whole deal any less exciting! It seemed like Dinohumon's attempt at yeeting throwing Bu had been successful. What he didn't expect, however, was for the dragon to just... shine and evolve into Ginryumon. Amazing!
"Quite the show!" He complimented. "Is this the first time you have evolved, or have you done it before? I could give you some time to get used to that form if you need to."
Granted, most digimon didn't need that, but when you shifted from being biped to quadruped... well, things could get dicey, especially on a first evolution. What would Bu do?

Unica slowed to a stop near the edge of the arena as she watched the Digimon clash. In fact, she was there when Bu digivolved with a flash of light. The young human had witnessed many Digimon evolve, especially at the training grounds, but it was always so exciting to see. There was no explaining it. Such a process was certainly normal for Digimon, both to experience and to see first-hand, but the idea of a creature growing in size over a matter of seconds or changing its appearance so drastically that it no longer resembled what it once was... there was something magical about it. There were no words to describe the awe Unica felt whenever she watched it happen.
She was almost paralyzed with fascination until she heard a familiar voice holler, "Hey, Unica, gonna getcha!" She whipped her head toward the sound to see the dragon-fox running in the direction Unica had come from, the Captain nowhere to be seen. The young girl giggled and called back, "No, you're not!" She could've stayed quiet and hidden to avoid being caught by the new It, but the fun of the game came from the pursuit and chase. She wasn't going to spoil the fun by suddenly turning the whole thing into a game of hide-and-seek. She stood there for a moment -- only long enough to make sure the purple Digimon spotted her -- before turning on her heels and running away, running parallel the length of the arena.
Unica laughed and shouted, "You can't get me!" as she continued to sprint forward, unaware of the Captain who was running at her from the side, perhaps hoping to cut off her means of escape and help his faux mommy win. The moment she spotted him and realized his plan, Unica skidded to a stop and frowned, hands on her hips. "No, you can't do that! That's cheating!" she huffed, clearly bothered by the idea of two people being It. However, the distraction was enough for the dragon-fox to catch up and tag her. Unica yipped with surprise and turned around to face the rookie. "We're gonna get you!" she exclaimed with a devious laugh, apparently now okay with the idea of the Captain also being It, so long as he was on her side.

Indeed, it was against all odds that Xiamon could even catch the speedy Dorumon and tag her. That, or his (adoptive) mom could have allowed this to happen. Yes, all was going to her plan. The Dorumon had taken off after Unica, and shockingly enough? Xiamon had followed, attempting to corner Unica so that Fuu could tag her.
...And she did. So, Fuu had to make do with the fact that this was now a two on one chase by summarily legging it away from the two once more! "Just go ahead and try!" She called out! The throw was successful, but nobody had expected Bu to just up and evolve! In fact, she was just starting to realize that she had. "...Oh. Huh, I...did?"
She shook her head at Dinohumon. "No, I've...never actually evolved before. Not past Rookie, I mean. This might take some getting used to, so...Yeah, time out." Bu uttered as she started to float around, trying to get used to the new form and it's limitations.

Tag-teaming to catch Unica had worked wonderfully, at least to the Xiamon's little mind. The fact that, somehow, he had managed to remain as 'not It' despite the fact that he had been closely working with other Its for a while now managed to elude him, and that just contributed to him having the time of his life! He never had this much fun ever before.
Now that Unica had been caught, it seemed like it was Fuu's turn! After a couple of excited barks, the small dog began running after the Dorumon. It was just a matter before the duo caught her! Meanwhile, Dinohumon just gazed at the newly-evolved Ginryumon, something akin to pride on his expression. Watching a digimon evolve for the first time was a heartwarming experience. "A time out sounds good. Take as much time as you need to get used to flying and those things. I'll wait over here."
Would Bu get used to his new form quickly? Not like that mattered, except for gauging how fast of a learner she was.

The race was on again, and now Unica had help going after the dragon-fox. Captain Puppy-Dog Snowball had pretty good stamina and maneuverability, but when it came to speed, he wasn't exactly the best. It seemed like the only reason he had been able to keep up in this game of tag was because the other two slowed down for him, he was able to take shortcuts to cut them off, and because now he was working on a team with whoever was It. Or... was he now only working on a team with Unica? The rules were unclear, but the fact remained that he wouldn't have been of much help to the young human while chasing after the purple Digimon unless they put their minds together to come up with a plan. As Unica passed by the small canine, she scooped him up in her arms and continued to run. "When we get close, I'll throw you and you tag her, okay?" she explained between pants. Unica felt confident in her ability to get close, but she could only run fast in short bursts. If she tossed the Captain when they approached the dragon-fox then perhaps they stood a chance.

The thing to keep note of here was that Fuu was quicker than both her (adoptive) son and Unica, but the fact that they were even working together in the first place meant that she was on her toes at all times, something that was far more inconvenient than one might have thought for the Dorumon.
Nonetheless, the duo was able to get close to her....Which meant it was the perfect time for Unica to put her plan into play. While flight was theoretically possible for Bu, now, she had to actually grow adjusted to it. Not that it mattered, she really -was- a quick learner, doing a few maneuvers in place before she called out.
"Ready when you are, Dinohumon!" Yep, definitely ready to resume the spar. The Ginryumon floated forward before landing and bracing for whatever it might be that the saurian scalie could throw at her. Hopefully not the greatsword.

A plan, huh? It seemed like Unica was getting serious regarding this small game of tag, and while it was true that neither her nor the Captain could ever hope to catch Fuu on a fair-and-square race, it seemed like their combined efforts might change that. For a second, the dog looked like it was listening attentively to Unica as he was scooped up. Did that mean he was It now, didn't it? Not like that mattered, as he was full on-board with the plan! He yapped twice and then nodded, signifying that he would do as instructed.
A relatively fierce expression took over his face as they approached; they were closing the gap! Would the blonde's strength be enough to toss the small Xiamon towards the Dorumon? Hopefully! If so, Fuu was about to get tagged. Bu looked like a fast learner; had she gotten used to her Ginryumon form so quickly? That was impressive in its own right.
"Ready, huh? Well, let's see what you're made off!" Thus, Dinohumon unsheathed Akinates, the sword in his back, and then proceeded to swing it in Bu's general direction. The ensuing shockwave formed a wind blade that raced towards Ginryumon's general direction. Better to avoid it, and quickly! Dinohumon used Wind Blade.
Wind Blade: Swings his blade and generates a wind blade. Pretty Sharp. Cooldown: 2 posts. Wind Blade's Cooldown: 0/2.

The Captain's nod and look of determination was all Unica needed to proceed with her plan. She smiled in return, happy that her friend was willing to put so much of his trust in her, and pushed onward in pursuit of the dragon-fox. "Here..." she called out as they grew nearer to their target. "...We..." Unica lifted her arms above her head in an awkward fashion, keeping the puppy between both hands as she tensed her muscles and prepared to throw him. "...Go!" she exclaimed while chucking the Captain in the dragon-fox's direction. The idea was that he would collide with the purple Digimon, dubbing her the new It. It was a good idea. Unica wasn't the strongest, but she was strong enough to turn her plan into a reality. The problem was that she hadn't thought about what would happen to the Captain after the impact. He didn't exactly have a way to slow his descent to the ground.

See, quick as the Dorumon was, she wasn't necessarily as gifted with predicting what her opponents in anything were about to pull off. So, Unica coming up with her (adoptive) son in hand and actually TOSSING him at her proved to be far more effective than either the dog or the girl could ever think it would be.
So yeah. Xiamon hit Fuu, which thereby made her It, but she actually had to catch and set the little dog down, too. That might give Unica time to run. Meanwhile, the Ginryumon's response to being assailed with a shockwave of wind was simple--she surged forth, hellbent on taking it in full.
Though, the Wind Blade did not seem to do as much damage as one might predict towards the lizard, especially as she continued to soar towards Dinohumon with the intent of crashing right into him! Bu uses Boujinha to tank Wind Blade--the result is that it does way less damage than it would if she hadn't. Thanks to both that and her passive.
Boujinha: Ginryumon makes a charge for the enemy, using her armor to take any attacks being thrown at her at half-damage while aiming to slam herself into the enemy. Three turn cooldown.
Cooldowns: Boujinha: 0/3

The plan, retroactively dubbed 'Operation: Yeet the Dog' had been a resounding success; ultimately, the Captain had hit Fuu with the power of a Puppy-Dog snowball, and had managed to convert her in It, even if that had resulted in the dog comically falling into the ground, yet being picked up before the impact could occur. Good catch by the Dorumon!
Now that both Its were busy at gathering back their bearings, what would Unica do? The blonde had a time window to run away, but it was unknown at the moment whether she'd seize it or not. What about Dinohumon? He gazed fiercely at Bu as she approached, Akinates in hand. Once she was close enough, the digimon would use the gigantic sword to literally parry the oncoming dragon and swat it aside. To say the least, it looked pretty cool.
"Nice attempt, but you'll have to try harder, young one!" Simultaneously encouraging and defiant, it seemed that the battle was beginning to hype up! It seemed like it was up to the newly-evolved dragon to dictate the rhythm of the fight. Used Cool Parry once again!

Unica could have taken the chance to run and avoid being tagged by either of the Its, but the moment she watched the puppy Digimon collide with the dragon-fox, she was stricken with a wave of grief and guilt for having thrown him at all, even if he had agreed to her plan. Why kind of person threw their friends? And that wasn't to mention how the dragon-fox may have felt about it. Captain Puppy-Dog Snowball was heavier than he looked and being struck in the back by him may have hurt. So instead of seizing the opportunity to flee, Unica gasped, covered her mouth with both hands, and slowed to a stop beside her new friends. "Are you okay?" she asked, glancing between both of the Digimon with a look of a fear and concern. Neither appeared injured, but she didn't want to assume. "Did it hurt? I'm sorry," she said, preemptively apologizing without even waiting to hear what her comrades had to say.

...This was a rather unexpected development, in truth. Despite there being a new Prime It (which will be utilized entirely for the sake of clarity,) Unica thought that Fuu had been hurt from the impact with her (adoptive) son. She'd feel guilty if she had actually seized the moment to go and tag Unica, so...
Fuu did not. She shook her head. "Timeout, timeout." She stated, so her child did not get any funny ideas. The Dorumon turned towards Unica. "It's okay. I'm not hurt, and Xiamon seems fine too. That was a really good throw, too! Good job!" She smiled at the blonde! D'awwwwww. Meanwhile, with Bu, she had been anticipating a parry or some attempt to deflect her charge and while it rang true and looked quite cool in the process, Bu no longer being a strictly ground based entity meant she could counter this better! The Ginryumon was swatted aside, but she quickly righted herself and opened her mouth to fire a spear right at Dinohumon!
This was the Tekkoujin! Despite being swatted aside, Bu can still retaliate with Tekkoujin! She fires a spear right for Dinohumon.
Tekkoujin: Ginryumon fires a spear from her mouth! Not only is this attack able to used at a longer range than most melee attacks, it has piercing capabilities, enabling it to bypass shields! Two turn cooldown!
Cooldowns: Boujinha: 1/3 Tekkoujin: 0/2

As far as things went, everything seemed to be on a more or less normal note. After all, the tactic had worked, right? Now Fuu was it, and the game would follow as normal.
Well, it sure seemed like it didn't. After everything had been said and done, Unica seemed terribly distraught at the conclusion of their gambit. And, to say the least, the Captain couldn't be more puzzled about it. Had he done something wrong? This was the first time he had experienced a truly concerned human firsthand.
His eyes danced between the human and her surrogate mother? Had this whole situation been his fault? He wasn't really sure. In any case, he'd approach in tandem with Fuu. What could he do to make the blonde feel better? Given the digimon's canine disposition, that seemed pretty straightforward; he just advanced towards Unica and rubbed his body against hers. Combined with Fuu's gesture, that probably was the recipe for a pretty warm moment. Meanwhile, the fight between Dinohumon and Bu went on; as of now, it seemed that both fighters were evenly matched. At least until the Ginryumon decided to attack after stabilizing herself; the spear caught the dragon-man by surprise, Dinohumon barely having enough room to avoid it hitting anything too vital. After a grunt of pain, he immediately right himself before jumping and slashing with his greatsword in a downward motion. If Buu didn't move fast, she'd find herself in the wake of a pretty powerful attack! Dinohumon gets hit by Bu's attack, but then incorporates himself quickly and uses overhead slash.
Overhead Slash: Slashes down with a powerful motion. Cooldown: 3 posts.
