As to what I do, I'm a knight, so I'm expected to conduct patrols and do my best to help the Digital World out. That'd include this area, though I'm...a bit nervous about that."
At least she wasn't alone in disliking Birdie... "It's alright--I was planning to move out anyways, and...This just expedited that." That was the final thing she said before glancing to the teacups as Rinji did, and nodding. "Of course. You pour them or should I? And...uh. I'd like that. Give me the tour. Please."

Rinji nodded his head in understanding. "The Dark Area isn't as bad as it seems once you get used to it. It's mostly wasteland and grumpy Digimon. If you ever had to patrol around here then you'd be welcome to drop in for food or rest." He paused for a second in thought. "Hell, if you even wanted someone to come with you, then I'd be happy to be your patrol partner."
Anyhow, it was time for tea. "I can pour if you'd like." With that, he carefully picked up the milk and poured both of them a fair, milky tea. He then took a few, massive teaspoons of sugar and added to his own tea.
And now, it was time to -

And a quarter of the tea disappeared. While drinking, he remembered the basket of sandwiches. "Oh, are you hungry?" He asked between a sip. "It must have been a long journey to get here."
He presented the sandwiches, still there if Coolmon wanted anything to eat.

"I suppose there's good to be found anywhere if one looks hard enough. I'll keep that in mind--stopping by here seems like a fine idea in the middle of a patrol. Especially if...it's to see you." Coolmon nodded a few times. "Yes! That'd be wonderful." She chirped in response to the offer.
With everything done, the Antylamon lifted her tea up and gave hers a happy

in tandem with Rinji, before she nodded and reached over to snatch up one of the sandwiches and devour it in a single bite. "It was a pretty quick run after the Trailmon dropped me off, but that's really considerate of you. So, wanna take the tour now or finish the tea?"

Rinji nodded, inwardly enthused that Coolmon accepted his offer. This way, if anything were to happen to her...
He'd be there.
Just as Coolmon did, Rinji took a sandwich for himself as well. A sandwich that disappeared way too fast.
"Oh! It wasn't a problem. I was looking forward to you stopping by...
And well, there's still plenty of time to take the tour. We can finish the tea and then I'll show you around."
With another sip, the centipede stared out at the beautiful, dwindling lake of the underground and then back to his date.
Yes, there was plenty of time.
After all, today was too perfect to rush through.
