"Indeed, it's seem to be some sort of poem string... it's poem string in form of Digimoji," Gryz answered "though I must say that this is absolutely archaic, I don't quite understand what they're referring to. But this looked like some sort of praises for bond and friendships... also some sort of hope. I saw a bit part that said something along 'may eternal glory bless this city' or something to that effect... But yeah... basically if you look at the power generator in most of Digital World, they'll have this sort of structure... hollow, and usually with bunch of programming like this. However, this is the first time I saw the wording happened to take the form of poem instead."
"I mean I can read it just fine," Tetsu commented "...I can't understand it though."
"Considering how old the syntax is, understandable," Gryz consoled him.
Archaic Japanese is different from normal Japanese anyway... and there are section that's written in alphabetical Digimoji rather than the more Japanese Digimoji too, signifying that it's in different language that's not archaic Japanese either. Regardless, they just moved from one generator to another, doing the same, until the city that was not lit at all has now gained some of its light back. Some part seem to be darker though, probably because the generator cannot supply enough energy.
Gryz tilted his head when NIk asked about some sort of implication there might be some malicious entity that is housed here...
"...I believe in the Digivice. Over and over again, ours never led us astray on purpose, or become tool for a malicious being to take us somewhere..." Gryz commented. "So I can't think that will be the case."
"Are you worried?" Tetsu asked. Rather than bravado, concern is very apparent in his voice "Do you think we should stop or something?"

Nik rubbed his chin with a degree of confused discomfort here. So this language was a form of poetry it seemed. And from his limited knowledge of the Japanese language so far, it was almost otherworldly compared to the English poetry he had been raised to understand.
"Well... it kinda feels like we're in some kind of old abandoned military bunker where anything could happen if we press the wrong thing." he eventually remarked, no longer able to pretend that he wasn't nervous here, especially now that Tetsu and Gryz caught on that he was indeed worried.
"Aw, I'm sure it's not that serious, Nik." Brad tried to assure his partner, but he too was sharing a similar uncomfortable feeling. "Regardless, even if there's some sort of horrible secret here, we're here first, so better we handle it than someone actually malicious, right?"
"Hmm, good point, Brad." Nik relented. "Okay. I'm happy to continue exploring. Just if we press a button and something counts down, that's our top priority in trying to fix."
"Well, I'm down for that approach." Brad shrugged. "So then. What should we next find out about this place?"
"Just some kind of information would be great to start off with." Nik replied, looking around as best he could. "This ancient digimoji poetry means nothing to me, but surely for such a place there'd be some solid, straightforward instructions in what exactly went on here, right?" he looked around at the others. "This place looks like it was a place of science, and I know for a fact that scientists tended to use plain, clear language instead of poetry to record their findings."

"While it does feel like it, I feel like it's not... that severe? Look," Gryz would point out at the city after they finished with their little fixing of the generator units. Some lights has returned to the city. Tetsu wondered if the places without lights are ones without any electricity, or is it broken? Either way, as he prepared to evolve Gryz again... there's... something that caught his attention now that the city becomes lighter.
"...What's that?" he asked, pointing toward the distance. On a hill is a tall building that looked out of place. It's made of coral, yet there are seem to be some sort of crystals coming out of it. On its top is a big bell that strangely doesn't even look as if it's aged since its creation.
Just right at that moment, their Digivice beeps again... This time pointing toward the building. Tetsu blinked.
"....Should we go there?" he asked. "Or should we look back at the server? Maybe the electricity supplied is already enough for us to check what's inside the server?"
"Going back there is a good idea too," Gryz added "considering that building is one among few that got lights on it... while that building on the distance doesn't have anything like that, but..." he looked at the Digivice again "...it's pointing toward there..."

Nik considered the situation for a moment. He saw that some lights had started to glow in the city that weren't glowing before. And furthermore, Tetsu's digivice indicated a sort of directional arrow that pointed there. Nik drew his own from his pocket, and he saw that it was indicating the same.
Tetsu asked if they should go there or check the now lit up controls back here. Nik's initial instinct was to go to the bell, given his experience that it was usually mostly wise to go wherever the digivices indicated. However, in this case, he thought again.
While he was pretty much an adult and Tetsu was a child, Tetsu was the one that could evolve his partner to the Ultimate level. Perhaps, in this case, they should split up?
"Well, I don't know anything about this place, bro, but, we could split up and do both, maybe?" Nik suggested. "If you and Gryz go to the bell, Brad and I could stick back here. If this is the place of generation of power, we can do what we can at the controls. We can communicate through our digivices, right? If you need help, we'll be there, same in return?"
Brad found this logical. "Yeah. I can evolve to Perfect if need be, but if something beyond my power shows up, we'll call for help." he said. "So we'll head back to the controls, you two head for the bell."
Nik and Brad hoped that was an agreeable plan of action.

"I don't think there are more to do in here," Gryz commented. "We have turned on the generator one until three... so I think this is everything. Plus, Digital World generator isn't like real world, I don't think there's any control over here... but on the other hand, there's that server over there," he pointed at the distance, toward the database building. "...How about I drop you two there, and me and Tetsu goes to the building up there? I think that should be good."
...If they agreed, Gryz would once again evolve to Belphemon, and carried the team. First he goes to the building with server, and then he headed toward the building far away. Tetsu yelled out "contact me if there is something going wrong!"
Either way, Nik and Brad would find themselves in a better lit building... but with how dim the lighting is, the 'haunted' looks felt more pronounced than before. Yet, there are no negative aura around here. Just feeling of... profound sadness, it felt. They would hear a little bit of a hum, as if something is on, but not fully operating just yet. Should they return downstairs, they would see that the server has gained some amount of power...
Turning on some of the monitor would be met with nothing but empty response. One in particular seem to be responsive, but with an image that says 'Charging: Current power - 1%" in Digimoji.
Soon, a message came from Tetsu
You wouldn't believe this. So we gone to that place up on the hill... I managed to open the gate alright, but... you know, there are a lot of sentry towers up here. I dunno what it's used for, but I don't think these are fortress. There are weapons, but rather than stored for use, it's almost like they're made over here... But what's the need of sentry towers in smithy?
There are too many things that is a big question sign to me... but I'll go in deeper... By the way, if we want to camp, I think it's better to camp over here. It's warm here... the crystal seem to be giving warmth...

Gryz pointed out that there probably wasn't much left to be activated in this building, but he also seemed to agree that they could indeed split up from here to achieve other goals. He suggested that they would proceed to two other buildings.
"Sure, that sounds good to me, bro." Nik answered, eager to be useful in this situation. From there, Nik and Brad consented to be flown over to the database building, hopefully being able to assist Tetsu and Gryz in whatever next needed to be done here to bring the city back from its stasis.
As Nik and Brad were dropped off at their designated building, both of them quickly caught on to an atmosphere of profound sadness. They saw so many workstations of what they both knew were dead digimon halfway through their experiments, reportation and other in vitro activities. All they could hope was that the digimon had had the chance of another life via the Village of Beginnings.
"Nik, I hear something from downstairs." Brad would eventually say. Nik paid attention to this, following him down. Eventually they would come across a glowing monitor, that stated that current power was charged at 1%. Nik had seen enough of these screens to know that it was meaningless unless there was some discernible progress being made.
Then they received a message from Tetsu. The message stated that he had managed to open a gate to a bunch of sentry towers, apparently defending a smithy.
Tetsu then laid down a possible place for them to rest for the night. "Thanks, Tetsu. That sounds great. And, personally, I think it'd be great if we could secure such a place for now." he replied through his D-Terminal.
However, Brad felt the need to keep close attention to this progress bar they had encountered. "There's something here that we're concerned about. A progress bar on a monitor. We've been here for 10 minutes and it hasn't advanced, but, I have the feeling it's something we should probably pay attention to."
Either way, they would follow the advice of whatever Tetsu had to say here, given he was more experienced than them and would know more about what to do in this situation.
