Second Imp is the Charm? [Carlos]

Ys, a capital city inside a caldera of a mountain... is it even active? Of course not. The giant rock wall that surrounded the city are actually sediments of mineral that builds up over time. They've now became a home to avian Digimons who lives in the city. There are also canals in this place, making the already maze-like city slightly more complex. It ends up at water reservoir on the four cardinal direction of the city. All of them met at the center, where the plaza is. It's needless to say, a complex place. And in this place is where KIZNA roots themselves as one of Digital World's team. Whether they expand or not that's still up on the air, but for now... the city is functional.
Today too, the city welcomed new people, like always. The Blue Worm Trailmon brought quite a lot of passengers today, one among which have invitation by one of member of KIZNA themselves. Waiting for the trio would be a tanned youth with very toned body. His silverish blue eyes glanced around for the man who asked him for training. Taking cue from last time, and more to because today is his day off, Ryouta this time only wears thick parka coat, inner shirt and jeans. Meanwhile, his partner, Valt, assumed his XVmon form. Assuming Vmon form in this place felt a bit too chilly for his liking. As much as he can wear warm clothes, he's not in mood to at the moment
In that Grand Central Station-like building, the duo is waiting for their guest, all while sitting on some of the available seats made out of wood, a special kind that emits warmth in this cold north.

Ys. The North. It had been a fair amount of time since Carlos and Dio had been this high up north, and for good reason, seeing how their last venture had almost cost the man his life and sanity.
Hopefully however this time things would end up on a higher note however!...or at least without near death experiences. As the many passangers came down from the Blue Worm Trailmon it would be fairly easy for anyone with a keen enough eye to tell locals apart from people visiting, mostly it was just as easy to look at their clothing choice or...lack thereof. The digimon that called the cold North their home were usually though not always rather sparsely dressed, their bodies tempered by the chilly winds and not bothered by the low temperatures. The visitors however could hardly say the same most of the time, as evidenced by their thick layers of clothing used in an attempt to keep the cold at bay. The trio of a single human tamer and two twins that had recently come down from the Trailmon were no exception to this rule.
The man named Carlos for instance kept his gloved hands well tuckered away inside the pockets of his brown rain jacket, and underneath it was a warm, slightly less thick jacket as well as black trousers. Despite his parents supposedly coming from a rather cold place from South America it was clear Carlos had not exactly inherited the cold resistant genes of his family.
The accompanying impmon meanwhile was fairly less dressed as it was the usual for a digimon, but still saw fit to travel with a jacket and a red scarf that covered a good half of his face. As for his twin and Carlos' second partner? Well, he had taken the man's advice to "travel light" to heart, perhaps a bit too literally: Other than a red scarf that seemed to be there mostly in an attempt from the rookie to look more like his brother and less to actually keep him warm Gio didn't seem to be wearing anything to protect his body from the cold.
In fact it would seem as if the black guilmon did not feel any difference in temperature, which was probably due to his body permantently emanating a warmth comparable to that of a small heater, not enough to be noticeable from afar, but just enough to have his other to travel companions staying as close to him as possible at all times. Not that he minded, of course! He quite enjoyed being this close to his new family regardless of the situation.
It didn't take long for the trio to locate and approach the duo of a man and a tall blue dragon like digimon. After all, they had met before not too long ago. Carlos was the first to approach the two, a smile on his face as he reached for a handshake.
"Hey there, hopefully we didn't keep you guys waiting for too long."
Gio was quick to follow suit, offering his own clawed hand as well in the XV-mon's direction. "Hi Mister Ryo and Valt-sama!" The guilmon greeted happily, earning him a puzzled look from Dio. Really? Sama? He had been listening to the humans from Tokyo a bit too much as of late, it seemed.

Ah, there they came. That's interesting entourage, just like the first time they met... although, Ryouta wondered if GIo isn't feeling cold at all... Warg would dress warmer than that, even if his body is emitting its own heat... isn't keeping producing that sort of heat actually would make you hungrier faster? Eh well. Ryouta rose up from his seat and greeted the trio with a small wave.
"Yo, looks like you got here just fine. It's OK, we don't wait long at all. We just... used to come to the arranged place earlier that's a---Eh? -sama?"
Ryouta quickly looked at Valt who's as equally confused. "...What on earth are you doing together so that you got that sort of honorific from him?"
"Don't ask me. I don't know either."
Seriously? Ryouta slowly looked at Valt up and down, and slowly, he registered it...
It's the muscles isn't it?
"Well, either way, ahem... welcome to Ys! Have you guys ate your lunch yet? If not yet we can probably eat some lunch while talking about what to train so to say."

Carlos sighed. Not even five minutes and Gio had already given a weird first (or technically second) impression. What could possibly gotten him to refer to Valt as such?
"Yeah, sama? Where did that even come from, Gio?"
The BlackGuilmon merely looked at the others giving a confused headtilt. He'd scratch his chin a bit, as if pondering the answer, before finally replying,
"Well, mister Valt looks really big and really strong. So of course, that makes him a Sama, right?" he said, in tone filled with certainty, as if what he was saying was the most obvious truth in the world. After all, stronger digimon were usually older, and therefore wiser. Therefore, it would only make sense for Gio to think highly of someone like Valt from the get go...even if his way of showing it was a bit too formal.
So in a way yeah, it was because of the muscles.
Carlos, knowing full well that pressing Gio for answers could lead them all down an endless rabbit hole, simply shrugged it off, before turning back to Ryouta.
"Thanks, but no need to worry about lunch, we ate some on the way."
"I'm kinda hungry though..." The guilmon complained, earning him another perplexed look from his brother and his tamer.
"How? You already had two soup thermos on the way here!" The man exclaimed, incredulous at the near black hole like nature of digimons stomachs.
"See dummy, this is why we told you to wear something warmer, your body already burned through the chicken soup just to keep you warm."
"Well, I guess we could get him a sandwich or something on the way, but other than that I think we're good to get started." Carlos shrugged, as eager as the rest to get started, but not wanting to take advantage of Ryouta's generous offer. He was already training them for free, asking for lunch (second lunch at that) on top of that felt like too much.

"I think if it's based on the muscles alone, there are many who are beefier than me...." Valt commented. He have... this strange feeling of both being flattered and at the same time... ot quite pleased at that sort of treatment? It's a complicated feeling for sure. He's happy to be respected, but he felt this attribute of respecting him just because the beef is a bit wrong.
Either way, looks like they have ate, so but Gio is still hungry? "What about these, then?" Ryouta offered some Pastrami filled bagel, slathered with appetizing looking sauce and garnished with onion and lettuce. He took this from his Infini-store, complete with the wrapping paper to prevent dirty hands. "I got about five...ish? and you can eat it while walking too."
"So, the transportation in this place is varied. We can take the long way and walk around the city for sightseeing, or just take air cab. Which one do you want? I'm fine with either," Valt said. "We can talk about the training menu while walking really."

Digimon with even more muscles than Valt? That was very likely, and even Gio knew this: he had met quite a number of them in his short lifecycle, many of them during his time fighting in the underground circuit on behalf of his old...Master? Owner?
Point was that he had learned a good time ago that digimon with muscles usually knew how to use them to deal some damage, and Valt was more than likely no different in that regard...even if he felt different. Probably because he too was partnered with a human, or that he wasn't trying to punch Gio out. For whatever reason, the young Guilmon seemed more than ready to trust and learn from him.
At any rate, the black scaled lizard was quickly distracted by the sweet and tempting smell of a bagel held by Ryouta. He was practically drooling as the round treat was offered to him. Without a second thought he took it off from the man's hand and shoved it right into his mouth, eating it whole in less than three seconds with a satisfied and content expression etched on his face.
"Thanks Mister Ryouta sensei sir!" He soon said with a grin, his tail happily swaying back and forth like that of an energetic puppy's. "Can I have the other four please?" Well, at least he was polite about it?
"Hey, leave some for them Gio." Carlos said, half jokingly, half not wanting Ryouta having to feed his black hole of a partner on top of everything else. "I think we could use the walk, kinda tired of being sitting on the train all day anyways."
That and it would give them a chance, however short, to sight see a bit around the city, so there was really no downside to walking.

"Ah, no, it's alright. I'm planning to make some in the gym later anyway for all of us," Ryouta commented, passing more of the pastrami bagel at the Black Guilmon, one by one. Gee, talk about very hungry one. "The training come with free lodging and food after all."
...Did he said free lodging and food?
"So don't worry about these, really. Plus I'm glad if he likes the taste. It boosts my confidence as one of the restaurant entrepreneur in this city, hehe. Ah by the way it'll be quite a walk to go to the gym, but we'll catch some tram midway, I think."
Exiting the station, the trio are greeted by the scenery of blue city, full with Digimon of different origin. Humans are seen here too, talking, mingling, doing whatever business they have. There are three kinds of road apparently... one where one can use vehicle, one for pedestrian, and canals for aquatic Digimons. They're currently is on the northwest side of the city, and the gym is on the northern wall of the city apparently.
The city itself does not look like Terminus where it's mostly futuristic, but even them, it's quite futuristic, with touch of nature, especially on the houses. The street lamps are gas-type street lamps it seems. Crystals sometime can be seen peeking out from the ground, but not randomly, strangely enough. It's like they're part of the nature, just like the planted trees around the city.
Soon, they are greeted by sight of the plaza. This is the center of the city. As it's not weekend, there are no bazaar happening today. Instead, there are some people who chatted, eating snacks while kicking back on the chairs provided. As for the snacks, of course there are some people selling them. It's mostly the type that people can eat easily while walking. Crepes, pizza on cone, skewers, hot drinks, and such. Still, there are people still eating ice cream despite the cold.

"Free lodging and food?" Carlos found himself repeating aloud, incredulity in his tone. He shook his head and laughed. "Shit dude, now I'm really starting to feel like I'm taking advantage of your offer." Though deep down he suspected there was probably a bit more to this agreement than Ryouta was letting on. Perhaps that was just his cynicism talking, but nobody could be this generous and expect nothing in return, right?
Dio meanwhile seemed just as if not more skeptical than his tamer, crossing his arms and squinting at Ryouta. "You're not just trying to lure us in with food and free stuff for forced labor, aren't you?"
As for Gio? He could only look at the other two with confusion in between bites of the bagels supplied by the man. Really? But Ryouta and Valt seemed so nice! "Come on guys, he has food!" He said, putting a very clear emphasis on the key word that was food. "He can't be bad!" He added, his words sounding a bit slurred and muffled as he kept practically shoving the bagels into his maw.
"You weren't paying attention when Carlos read us that Hansel and Gretel book, were you..." The imp retorted, rolling his eyes.
In the end however, their talk gave way to nothing short of stunned and amazed silence as they walked down the streets of Ys. To put it simply, taking the scenic route instead of driving had been the right choice: the crystals emerging from the ground, the water canals, the coral like houses...it all had an odd, impossible beauty to it, something that neither of the trio had quite seen before, even in the few field trips with the Club.
Of course, it was the sight and smell of the food being sold on the plaza that caught the attention of the blackguilmon the most, who was already being held by the solitary scarf he was wearing by Carlos, to make sure he would not make a run for it in the search for more tasty treats. He wasn't exactly hungry anymore thanks to Ryouta, but Gio could have kept eating regardless.
"Man...can't believe I'm only just now visiting this place." The white haired man mused, honestly at a loss for words as he took in the otherwordly beauty of the city around him. "Did anyone actually built any of this or was it already here?"

Forced labor? Ryouta chuckled. "Nothing that sort. It's just part of our hobby you see... that and some sort of cross promotion I guess? If I can get your opinion on how my cooking tastes, that's all good for me. And about lodging, you can just say that it's to promote our new hotels in Ys. Ys is a huge city, and there are various hotels in this place. It's controlled by board of tourism, and we would like to hear what guests have to say about our service, basically."
Hansel and Gretel part had Valt laughing his ass off. "Oh Homeostasis, no. We don't have that sort of diet! We really just want the best for our disciples! It's not like we'll feed you and eat you after we're done anyway, because that would means Bellamy and Luke wouldn't be here if that happened! But seriously, the strings attached is pretty much asking how we're doing as provider for you, that's all. We just want you to survive most of what Digital World tossed at your direction is all."
The praise to the city made the human and Digimon duo smiled. "Welp that's Ys for ya! This city was rediscovered few months ago in real world time by our friends Tetsu and Nik and their partners. The foundation existed since long, but we refurbished a lot of thing, modernizing it you see... and this is the result! Canal system, fountains, farm, buildings, infrastructures and all that, it's our pride!"

Cross promotion? Well, that certainly explained a lot, even gave Carlos some ease of mind to know that in a way they would be helping them back after all this was said and done. "Ah, so publicity. Gotcha." Carlos nodded, a half jokey tone in his voice. This whole agreement almost made him feel like one of those travel documentarians, getting to visit a luxurious location and getting free food in exchange of promoting the place for future tourists. Though Carlos and the twins lacked a tv crew following them around, of course. "Well, it's at least a four star service so far. Let's see how that fares taking the actual training into account though."
At the very least, it didn't seem like Valt was too interested in cannibalizing any of his students. Not that Dio expected him to of course even if it wouldn't be the first teacher that tried to do so with him, and genuenly seemed to want the best for them. That was good enough for the impmon, though that didn't stop him from being...himself around his future teacher. "Disciples? Easy there, mister Miyagi, we haven't even started training yet." Dio said, quirking an eyebrow at Valt's response, though it was clear he meant it mostly in jest. Something his brother didn't catch.
"Bro, be nice to the Sensei." He said, softly (read: as softly as Gio was capable off) tugging from the imp's own scarf, which of course almost made the imp lose his balance and trip face first into the floor, though he was able to regain his balance.
"Sensei? What's gotten into you today?" He'd glare annoyingly at Gio, before turning back to the tall blue dragon. "Hah, not to brag, but me and Carlos have already survived plenty of crap thrown our way." He smirked, in a rather braggy and boastful way of course, though he'd soon shrug and add, "But I suppose there's always more to learn. Sides my brother could use some help too."
"Well, it looks a lot more cozier than Whitewater personally, but I was never a warm climate guy, so I'm probably incredibly biased." Carlos said, still not over the look of the Ys city. No wonder it looked like that, it hadn't been built recently in the slightest, it had just been sitting there for who knew how long. What possible secrets could still be unearthed from it? Perhaps he could get the Club to explore some...
He shook his head, trying to keep his mind focused on the task at hand: sight seeing was fun and all, but that was not why they had come all the way here. "So uh, where are we going to do this exactly? Some sort of gym or something?"

"Publicity would be indeed nice. If you have hard time to accept what we offer, I think that is the best way to think what sort of benefit you accepted, yes?" Ryouta commented. "Ys is a city that thrives from bond. It's a city where it's alive thanks to its inhabitant... so the more prosperous the city is in happiness and bond, the better it is for us. For the training, well I think you can see the training ground from here, now..."
Ryouta pointed at the north, slightly far away... Embedded on the wall is a huge building-like object, dwarfing the rest of the Ys building sans another one with KIZNA symbol on it, but that one is not their focus today. Their focus is more on the building, embedded in frozen waterfall, with tons of crystals jutting out of it. It's like a temple, but for a temple there are too many people coming in and out.
"Let's ride the tram. It's too far to get there without the tram. It should be around twenty minutes ride to go there, our tram is pretty quick, you see."
Considering that it's a massive city, although not to the point of Terminus, it's indeed important to have a form of transportation if they does not want to evolve.
On topic of disciple, Valt just chuckled. "Oh? I'm under assumption that you already want to be our disciple, or should I start charge you for the meal and the fee and all that?" he teased.
The tram stopped in front of the building, to which Ryouta and Valt quickly disembarked. People who came and go, when they're human, seem to dressed lightly, like a sportswear or such. Ryouta himself took off his parka and walked in.
Inside, it looked like some aztec temple, complete with bonfire and some murals, but things that made it different is the fact that there are water running around the place, giving it some sort of serene mood. Plants also grows on the wall, at times entangling some crystals that let out some amount of heat. Various training equipments are scattered through the floor, mostly the heavier types. Both human and Digimons seem to use the facility. There are even sparring ground on the center of the floor.
Some people used lifts, another used stairs, but Ryouta headed toward another lift, one that seem to be equipped with extra security.
"We're heading to the seventh floor, boys."
He put the badge in a scanner. The lift quickly opened, revealing a more futuristic sort of lift compared to the other one.
"Just to ask, what sort of training do you want to have? Considering that you guys are probably quite pro yourselves." Ryouta asked.

"You drive a hard bargain, but I guess we can accomodate." The man quipped somewhat sarcastically with a shrug and a smile, but didn't object any further. He still felt publicity and spreading the good word about Ys was still not quite enough to repay them, but it was clear Ryouta wouldn't accept any other offer anyways. If this worked for him, then it worked for Carlos as well.
"That is one big gym you guys got there." He then said, whistling in awe at the gigantic building embebbed on the icy wall. The place seemed even bigger than a freaking stadium! Did they really need that much space for training? ...then again, digimon were known for their varying sizes and destructive powers, so it was probably a sensible thing to make it so big.
"Disciples works just fine, then..." Dio sighed in response to Valt's teasing. As the Dark Lord he wasn't all too keen in being someone elses "disciple", unless they proved themselves to be worthy of following. Not that he doubted Valt, but it would take more than muscles to impress him like he had with Gio.
It didn't take the group more than a short tram ride to quickly reach their destination, and the trio were quick to follow the other two into the building, as well as following Ryouta's example and getting rid of any excessively warm clothing, which considering the sudden change in temperature inside the vaguely temple looking building was probably the right call.
Carlos quirked an eyebrow as they took an elevator that apparently required very special clearance to use, however. "So...you're taking us to the Batcave or the VIP lounge?"
Bad jokes aside, Ryouta asked a very good question as they rode the elevator to the seventh floor: just what did he expect from their training? The man kept silent for a bit, seemingly thinking a good answer.
"Hmmm..." He cracked his neck, before cocking his head in the direction of the twins. "...well for starters these two could use to learn some teamwork."
"And Mega level stuff as well, this dork here hasn't gotten quite used to it yet." Dio was quick to add, patting the Blackguilmon in the head, who seemed oblivious to the "dork" comment and simply beamed excitedly at Valt.
"Yep yep! Is Valt sensei gonna teach us how to be good Megas?"
And while that was all said and done however, Carlos turned to face the teen again. There was something else in his mind he wanted to discuss about their training.
"And uh...well I was also hoping maybe you could teach me something?" He asked, a semi awkward tone in his voice, clearly feeling a bit odd about asking someone so much younger with help in his training, even if said person was far and away better fit than him. "Nothing too fancy of course, just maybe help me get in better shape and...something so I don't get singled out and targeted so easily in every other fight that breaks out."

"We need them to be big," Ryouta commented. "It's the biggest gym in the city, with the most up to date equipment. Gyms for Digimons usually only can host three Digimons at max... in our case, we can host about a thousand or so at the same time, which is honestly a great asset when you have so many Digimons in one place. Your training time is limited while in the city... and we honestly trying to build another gym, hopefully in the same size as Cerulean Gym."
The joke about Batcave or the private lounge made Ryouta chuckle with a "heh". "Well, let's say that it's a mix of a both, except we go up rather than down. You'll see I guess..."
The ride unfortunately wasn't enough for Ryouta to address what Carlos have in mind but at the very least he'll see what the VIP training place would look like. The room was spacious, extending long enough, where there would be a ring that isolated the rest of the room, which riddled with equipments such as treadmills, pull up bars, cable cross, and of course weights, and the actual sparring area. The sparring area are enchanted, it looked like, and big enough for something like Belphemon to fight comfortably there.
"Ultimate stages, huh... that's fine with us. But you better not treat Valt as some pushover just because he's a single partnered Digimon. It'll be some sort of death wish." Ryouta commented. "Well for the moment, the Digimons should enter the area, while we'll train outside. Don't worry about the damage... That thing neutralizes all sort of damage and prevented any sort of leak."
Valt obviously waled inside the field. Ryouta quickly activated his Digivice. it shook with such strength that it looked like it's going to fall. Instead, it shot power straight to Valt who accepted all of it.
"XVMON, CHOU SHINKA!!"
Valt's form quickly exploded into particles of data. It raises toward the sky, where Ryouta's crest of justice descended. The crest settled itself in the middle of the data storm, where the vortex quickly converged and formed wireframe of Valt's next form. Golden ring descended, rendering his form, from head to toes. A Magnamon, yet quite a standard one, immediately showed itself. Red wings sprouted from its back, and its head is instead looking more like XVmon rather than the usually armor looking form.
"Magnamon! Magnamon, Kyuukyoku Shinka!!"
Valt once again exploded into data, spiraling around the crest of Justice. It beats, once, twice, thrice, and then let out a bright light that formed wireframe of Valt's next form, a massive dragon man Digimon. More golden rings descended, forming the Digimon's shape.
"Imperialdramon, FIGHTER MODE!!"
And with that the evolution has finished. Valt grinned and beckoned the twins with a provocative index finger movement.
"Mmmm, I can't really teach you how to not get targeted by enemy Digimon, but I can teach you how to run, how to position yourself, how to at least know how to defend yourself against child stage Digimon. If you don't mind with those, I'll train you on those." Ryouta suggested.

Well yeah, it made sense for high level digimon to have a specialized training center all for themselves, but Carlos wasn't quite prepared to just how...massive and advanced it looked like. In a way, his Batcave comparison didn't feel completely off. For the third time today Carlos could only mutter out an astounded "wow". As the trio got out of the lift and into the room, they all turned to the special fighting arena in the middle where the now digivolving Valt waited.
"But...Valt Sensei is just one, and we are two." Gio pondered, scratching his head as he tilted his head at Ryouta. Clearly there was no such thing as quanlity over quantity for him.
Carlos just shook his head, while Dio hanged his arm around the Guilmon's neck, his voice carrying a smug and confident tone. "You see, my simpleminded brother, brawn is not everything, we gotta use our brains for this too, strategize and the like, make the most out of our numbers."
Gio simply looked at him in confusion for a moment, but then nodded with a grin. "Oooh, I get it! We'll do our best, Valt-sensei!"
Did he actually understand a word his brother had said or was just agreeing to get things moving? They didn't have time to find out, as Carlos also took out his own digivice. "Play nice, you two."
And so, their forms were struck by the blindingly bright yet warm light of digivolution, red and purple specs of data converging around their fragmented code as the forms grew, twisted and shifted into something far bigger and impressive, both irradiating the same yet slightly different energy.
On the one side, the imposing and fearsome shape of a Belphemon, on the other the equally imposing yet slicker form of a dark armored Hadesmon, both roughly the same in size to Valt's form. The Belphemon named Dio loudly cracked his neck and seemed about to say something...until Valt did that gesture with his index finger. The demon lord froze, eyes glaring at the Imperialdramon, his face slowly contorting into an angry scowl.
"Uhm.....V-valt sensei, I don't think you should-" The hadesmon muttered in a worried stammer unbecoming of his fearsome form. He was swiftly interrupted however by the Belphemon letting out a loud snort, hot steam blowing out of his mouth and nostrils.
"Fine, if that's how you want it..." He lowly commented...before lunging at the Imperialdramon without a second thought, claws blurrily glowing with pure power. Despite his power and seemingly noble look, deep down he was still that short tempered imp...that really didn't like being challenged, even jokingly.
As for the Hadesmon? He was actually the one to sigh and shake is head, standing back as he saw his brother charge into the fray like mad.
"So much for strategy..." Was he still confident their individual power was stronger than that of Valt's? Or was he simply too surprised by his brother's short sighted temper he couldn't react in time? Or perhaps deep down he knew it would only end poorly for his brother, and wanted to enjoy the moment, really it was hard to say.
Carlos meanwhile, was preocupied listening to Ryouta to see his partners going at it. Really, all that he was offering seemed like better alternatives to his usual "hide behind cover and hope for the best" plan he employed in most digimon fights. However he couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow at the last point. "Self defense?" He repeated, somewhat incredulous. Was there really much a human could do against even a rookie? After all Gio could punch holes in the wall with ease for pete's sake. He sighed a bit, however, but immediatelly took off his jacket, leaving only his short shirt on. If he didn't start trust Ryouta, then what was the point of being trained by him? "...I guess that could work, sure!"
"What do we do first? You tell me "jump" and I'll say "how high"."

"You'll do well to not treat me as if I can't take two of you at the same time, Gio," Valt countered. "A dragon's pride is massive, and one who cannot back up their words are not worthy to be dragon. That's why I'll show you how much I can back my words... heh heh..."
And you know what's else that is massive? Dio's ego. Just after he evolved into Belphemon, he already got caught into Valt's provocation. Dear him. He thought it takes at least some verbal insult to make him attack, but this one is already enough? Valt could see that sort of attack from miles away though. He swiftly dodged aside, wind blew toward Dio's face as Valt flapped his massive red wings to dodge. He however isn't going to let this sort of childish attack goes unpunished. His hand shot toward Dio's neck, where if he managed to grab him he would pull him close enough, only for him to press something cold that growing more and more hotter as he charged on the Belphemon's stomach.
"Pathetic."
The laser would blast Dio on point blank range. Valt would release his grip right on the point of impact, aiming to blast the Belphemon toward his Hadesmon brother. "Well that was great of you, Dio!" Valt started with mocking tone "Already taught your brother that brain is needed more than brawn I see!"
If all of this worked, Valt would stood sideway, and once again taunted the two with "come here you" gesture, but with his hand rather than just an individual finger. For the meantime, he'll just show this as warmup. Next turn however... He'll have some fun
Ryouta had no idea what to say on this... exchange, but it looked like Valt is annoyed because he was underestimated. Either way, he secretly prayed for the twins. That gonna be damn hurt.
"Self defense, yes. You might think that this is unreasonable, but that's why we're going to train. So for the moment, please do warmup first. I'll talk while we do the warmups. Before doing any training, make sure that you did all the needed stretching and warmups otherwise you'll get injured.
Anyway, why I suggest self defense is because Digimon normally looks down on human. Well, if you're as beefy as me, Digimon might either think that you're just for show, or you're not what you looked like at first. If you want self defense, what I'll taught you are the norms that taught in self defense classes you can take in real world, but in my case, I'll add it with application of several nifty items. For example... Ki arts, lightscreen and light baton."
