Valt took out his personal D-Nexus and shows the thing to Cassie. Boysenberry is indeed a strange berry, but it's said to be one of the most popular berries (kind of?) considering it even got a theme park and entire fare food based on it. Well that's the food! Anyway... that aside...
"...I'm still... shy about this entire dating thing honestly. I don't mind showing affection when it's in private, but in open like this, somehow I got... really nervous and shy," Valt admitted. "I'll try my.. best... to get used to it though... My data just decided to chicken out in the strangest moment possible..."
Either way, he quickly put whatever they bought to the infini store. Valt once again held Cassie as he flew toward his home. The house is simple, made out of wood. From the look of it, it's a one floor house. There are no stairs, but it's definitely spacious looking. True enough, as he entered it (he swiped a card on the card reader), it showed a nice living room, a kitchen, and about three rooms. Bathroom seem to be installed directly inside each room. However, there is a long hallway that seems to lead to the backyard. If Cassie saw it before, it was where a connected building was.
"Over there is a personal hot spring," Valt commented. "Anyway, ready to kick back and relax~?"

With Valt's admission of his nervousness, and being shy about dating... Cassie would tilt her head curiously - initially unsure what about all of this was making him so nervous, but... "... It's okay, Valt..!" She'd attempt to reassure him; nuzzling against his chin. "There's nothing to worry about, about being affectionate in the open; the only people we need to worry about, is you..." She'd pause briefly to gently poke Valt on the chest, upon referring to him. "... And me..!" Then, she would pat herself on the chest with her flipper; grinning widely, and giggling. Nuzzling him once more, she'd conclude "And I think I'm perfectly happy with us being affectionate like this; so you don't have to worry about me too much! What about you?"
Once they had their food put away though, and began flying home, Cassie would - once more - be enjoying the sights; her tail wagging as she admired the city below. Being so high up like this, it was so new to her; and she wanted to take every chance she had to enjoy it..! "Ehehehe..!" She'd giggle giddily once more; before peering up to Valt, chirping "Everyone looks so itty-bitty tiny, from up here..! Well, except for a few of them, but most everyone does...!" Certainly, some of the digimon down below were a bit larger than others - making them seem less tiny in comparison, but everyone else were like ants to Cassie; not that she knew of the simile.
Once they were at Valt's home, though, Cassie's attention would quickly turn to admiring it. Admittedly, she didn't recall if she ever visited someone's house before; having grown up in a den in the mountains, and typically staying at the Sanctum nowadays. So, being able to see an actual house was a bit of a new sight for her..! It was spacious and cozy-looking; with multiple rooms, too. It had her curious, wondering what she might find in the other rooms - but this was Valt's territory, not hers; she shouldn't be snooping around..!
Valt's voice would jolt her from her thoughts and curious exploring of the living room; the little Gomamon-X glancing back to Valt, and smiling brightly. "Yeah! I'm ready to relax..!" She'd chirp; leaping up onto the couch, and waiting for Valt to sit with her - her tail happily wagging all the while.

....Cassie's argument is way too cute and he felt like it's seriously something that he will consider. After glancing some more and making sure that this time no one will see for real, Valt licked Cassie's cheek. "...Yeah, I'll make stronger effort to not care as much about what people think I guess."
That's all he can say for the meantime. But he really appreciates Cassie balancing him a lot. It felt... awesome. He now felt he know what Hikaru meant by Owen seem to made him whole. The tendency of most of Digimons of KIZNA's originator, they're all broken in some way or another... and today, Cassie seem to slowly fix that hole in him. He's not broken to extent of Hikaru, but even so, it still felt... nice.
....Even if this is "wrong", I don't think I'll regret this...
looks like Cassie is enjoying the flight too. Valt chuckled when she commented how everyone looked small. To Valt who have draconic vision, he can easily zooms what's underneath, so it's not exactly so small, but... He guess it must looked like that to Cassie. The dragon purred contently.
Later, in his house, he definitely felt the glances of the little Gomamon X. "Oh, you want to explore or something? You can do it just fine you know? I'm planning to renovate this house somewhere in the future to make it a bit bigger... probably with two guest rooms and make the available two rooms bigger. The master room is plenty big enough."
Valt obviously sets down the food in front of the couch... specifically at the table. He grabbed the takeout bowl and opens it, revealing a huge meat, veggies and potatoes. They're slathered generously with sauce. He gave Cassie hers.
"Well, let's see... what to watch today~? Did you see a lot of movie, Cass?"

The little lick to the cheek would make Cassie pause and blink briefly - visibly surprised, and her cheeks flushing brightly... before she'd giggle happily; nuzzling Valt back, and attempting a little lick of her own on his cheek..!
As they'd settle down into Valt's house though, Cassie would prick up at the other's questioning. "Oh... Yeah! I kinda wanted to explore a little - I just uhm... Didn't know where it is or isn't okay to go." She'd explain herself; taking the time to look around the living room briefly. "It's your territory - or, well, home - yaknow? I don't wanna intrude where I'm not supposed to go!" It'd be rude if she just started wandering wily-nily without figuring out Valt's boundaries, right?
The mention of renovations and making it bigger, though, would make her curious - the implications that Valt might've been making completely flying over her head. "Making this place bigger..? How come?" She'd ask; briefly poking her head into the adjacent kitchen, before glancing back to Valt. "This seems like a pretty big home for you as it is, eheh..!" She'd giggle briefly; moving back to his side, as they prepared to sit down and eat. "But then again, I'm used to the den we grew up in being small and cozy - just big enough for us to all snuggle together at night - and having the one room in the Sanctum, for me and Ophi to turn into our own cozy little den!"
All this food smelled so good, though... Cassie would start off with the broiled fish, her tail happily wagging as she chomped down into it. "Mmmm~!"
The question of movies, though, would draw her attention back to Valt, as she swallowed down her first bite. "Oh! Uhm... I haven't seen a lot of movies, but me and Ophi did watch some 'Disney' movies with Tetsu and Gryz, awhile back..!" She'd chirp in response; smiling as she thought back to it briefly. That smile would take on a sheepish hue though, as she admitted "I don't know what I'd wanna watch, though, honestly; eheh... I'm just happy spending time with you...!"

"I got policy that... If I got someone I love, I'll let them explore my house however they want. I mean... when I got a girlfriend or something that is. Because... i think it's best if I don't hid anything from them. There are too many relationship failed because someone hides something from their significant other, so... I'll try my best to never hide stuff from you."
There's a hint of shyness in that voice, but Valt definitely meant that he's given her OK on this... and actually... he suddenly gave her a key. "...That's your key for this house. You can use it if you want for us to, you know, have some private time like today and you just want to spend the time with me without getting disturbed like in the base?" Valt offered.
Hmmm, looks like she doesn't get it what he meant with him wanting to make the house bigger huh... "...I'm thinking to make it bigger because... Well, if we eventually get married, I... want to get ready, you know? The master room is big enough for all of us to cuddle together, but sometimes kids grows and they don't want to cuddle as much as before, so they just want a room proper for themselves... well that was the idea..."
...God, saying all of that made him red like a boiled octopus.
"A-anyway, it's good that you enjoyed it! Hmn, well uh... I wonder what to watch really... I usually just watch some action movie or play games... But... I wonder if you want to do anything like that or if you have any sort of other idea how to do this..."
...Suddenly, he's not sure what to do. He could probably watch some romantic movies, but... that's just way too sappy, and not something he'd like to watch after what happened today... But he definitely enjoying the snuggling though. Valt used his free arm to scoot Cassie closer... Yeah, this felt more like it.

So... Hiding things from someone, can hurt a relationship...? Cassie would be quiet as she listened to Valt's explanation; it made sense, to want to be honest with each other about everything. Keeping secrets and hiding things from someone you love isn't really... Trustworthy, she guessed was the best way to put it? Either way, Cassie would nod in understanding, mentioning to Valt "I'll try to never hide stuff from you, either, then!" She'd respond; offering him a bright and happy smile.
Upon being given a key, she would gaze at it with a certain fascination briefly, before nodding; putting it away in her bag. "That sounds great, Valt!" She'd respond to his offer with a cheery tone; adding "Honestly... I'm used to usually being with Ophi, whenever we both have free time, but... Being able to spend time with you would be really nice, too..!"
And then, Valt mentioned the reason he wanted to make the house bigger; namely, to prepare for if they ever got married, and had kids..! If Valt was red, then Cassie was - perhaps - redder; given that she hadn't thought that far ahead, herself..! Did... Did she want kids??? She wasn't sure, but maybe??? Aaaaa?!
It seemed that, uhm... Cassie was no longer responsive, just staring off into space - her face half-hidden behind her flippers, and her cheeks and the tips of her long floppy ears completely red. It'd only be when Valt would reach over, to pull the little seal closer, that Cassie would squeak, nearly jolt out of her skin, and come back to reality; her eyes snapping up towards Valt.
She'd blink quietly a few times, realizing that she had completely missed Valt's question before, though she would allow herself to relax against Valt; her flippers embracing him. "I, uhm... ... D-do we want kids?" Cassie would ask nervously; her cheeks still flushed quite brightly. "I... I think I do! Maybe? I-I never thought that far, honestly..!" She'd laugh nervously; bringing one of her flippers up to rub at her cheeks briefly. "But, u-uhm... ... Having a n-nice big house to... Call our own, either way, still sounds nice..."

They're messes. They're absolute messes. Cassie sure is blushing redder than he is, but seeing her blushing like that, it made him more and more conscious of her. It also made him blush and well... that doesn't really feel nice. He's supposed to be the more experienced one, yet all he an think at the moment is how silly he's behaving. But either way, he stuffed his mouth with more meat--
Bad idea.
The moment Cassie seem to still stuck in her wondering whether she would want a child or not, Valt choked on his food and immediately grabbed for his soda. He poured the entire thing to his mouth and seem to still sputtering at that. After a bit of a good coughing session, he finally managed to find his voice back.
"W-well, if you think that too soon, that's fine, but... I just like having prior investment, so to say? Uh... It's also cheaper now while the city is less... crowded, you know? We got migrants day by day, and property prices are going to hike sooner or later, so I thought might as well...!"
....That aside, probably because that shock she did not answer his question so...
"...Wanna watch comedy or something instead?" Valt offered.
...Then again he only got Mr. Bean and whatnot... Oh and his silly, crazy "The Gods Must be Crazy" old film.

As Valt began to choke, Cassie was - immediately - concerned over the XVmon. "V-Valt?!" She'd exclaim a little in worried surprise, looking around to see if there was anything she could do to help him; all the while wondering if she said something wrong, to have made him choke on his food like that.
Thankfully though, Valt's soda was close on hand; allowing him to at least wash down the food, and start catching his breath. Still, Cassie couldn't help but fuss over Valt slightly; situating herself on his lap, so that she could get a better look at him, as she asked "A-are you okay?" in a soft tone.
As he explained his reasoning though, and how he wanted to have prior investments... The little Gomamon-X would nod. She didn't entirely understand property prices and the whatnot; but she at least understood that more people meant those prices would go up - so he wanted to do this while there weren't lots of people in the city. "I'm okay with it," She'd respond softly, settling down and getting comfy on Valt's lap, as she took another bite of her fish. "Like I said, I uhm... Never really thought that far ahead, eheh... I've just been kinda focusing on how nice the 'now' is, y'know? But if you think that this is a good thing to do, in preparing for what's ahead, then I'm okay with it!"
At the offer of them watching some comedy together, though... Cassie wasn't sure what to expect from watching it - beyond it probably being funny - though she was curious! "Sure!" She'd chirp; smiling brightly up to Valt.

Valt raised a thumb up at Cassie when she asked if he's fine. Well, he's fine, but... god, that was nasty. Well who can blame Cassie though, he's one that started all of this. Valt wiped his mouth just in case with a napkin. "Err, anyway, it was just shocking me, sorry about that. If you're fine with it then everything is cool with me."
Well, expanding the house is definitely one of the thing to be put in his bucket list then. At any rate, Valt decided that perhaps it's best to watch a movie now. He played the movie that's inside the Blu-ray player, but looks like while it's indeed a comedy, it's more like a family sit-com.
Oh dear. This must be one of the CD Perry lent to him when he asked about recommendation for funny things to watch. Valt dimmed the light down to make it cozier for them.
...At any rate, Valt decided to just roll with it. "Hmm, the present huh? Yeah, the present is... nice. I guess it's better to think about the present. Speaking of which, how does it felt, being here in Ys? It's been a while since you guys joined after all... And soon it's new years," Valt commented. "Your first new year in Ys... how would it feel I wonder. Hikaru is fussing on ceremony and whatnot just to make the new year more festive he said..."

Well, regardless of whether this wasn't the sort of movie that Valt was expecting, it didn't seem that Cassie really cared, let alone recognized that it wasn't quite the right movie in the first place; instead happily snuggling up to Valt. A movie was still a movie, and this seemed kind of like it'd be a nice and homey sort of movie, on top of being funny! She was interested!
As Valt began asking her about how she felt, being down here in Ys, though... Cassie couldn't help but fall quiet as she thought it over; sipping on her drink. "Mmm..." She'd hum briefly at first, as she'd find her words, before she'd start with a simple "... I love it here."
Letting out a soft and content sigh, she'd relax against Valt as she elaborated "Everyone here is so nice, so friendly, so warm; everyone's trying their hardest, and it's like I'm in one big family, when I'm here. Feeling so at home, like I'm still among family, makes me feel a bit less homesick; makes it a little easier to be away from where I was born and raised. I do still sometimes miss Mom, and Dad, and Lae, but... I can always visit them, too; and it's easy to go visit them, since Ys is still pretty close to the mountains we grew up in!"
The mention of the approaching New Year, though, would make her curious. She understood a bit about the passing of time - about the days, weeks, and months, and the such. But she'd never actually celebrated New Years before; especially given that there weren't really any reliable ways to track the passing years, up in the mountains. Thus, she'd tilt her head a little, questioning "New Years ceremony?" to Valt.

...It's really not the right one for the mood. Honestly, he probably should have just settled with something more idyllic or something... Valt nommed on his snack while feeding Cassie too. "...I got what you meant. I can't help but to feel homesick too if I don't have most of my family with me. Speaking of which, do you want more... cave-like dens for your mother? I think if you want to, there are some Digimon that can create that sort of building. I'll definitely tell you about them if your mother and father does not like the wood building all that much."
Would she like it if he also offered to build and pay for it? Either way...
"New years ceremony is basically... I guess in Digital World, it's once per seven years? Because the time must coincide with new year in real world. Considering that Hikaru has only ascended to the throne recently, that means he have to address people of Ys as the King, make festival or sort, introduce new years food and programs for anyone who aren't as keen to join the festive mood to enjoy at home.
...It's basically just a big citywide event. I think Hikaru would like to tell everyone to spend this day with their family though, and to put hold missions and whatnot for two weeks. Oh, there also will be some sakura blooming I guess. Last year Digital World wise because we have yet to form solid government, we did not do anything special, and it just ended up as your regular holiday.
But this time it's different... And you know why."

The mood of the movie aside, Cassie would still be happily giggling at the more comedic moments of the movie, comfortably snuggled up to Valt. Whenever he'd feed her a bit of his snack, she'd happily munch down as well; her tail wagging a bit, as she simply enjoyed their shared company. At the mention of making a cave-like den for her Mom, though... Cassie would think for a moment, considering the offer a bit. "Hm...."
"Well..." She'd begin, as she found her words. "... Dad probably wouldn't mind, either way; though I do think Mom would like at least a place she can set up like her den back home, wood or not." Cassie responded; smiling warmly to Valt, adding "I really appreciate the idea, also..! It'd be wonderful if we could get Mom and Dad and Lae all down here..!" Sure, maybe leaving behind the den that they had before - their home up in the mountains - might be a little sad, in a way, but... Being able to have her whole family in one place would be a nice feeling, too..! And it'd probably be a lot safer down here, than up in the mountains, anyways..!
At the explanation of the New Years ceremony, though... Cassie would nod a bit; so it was a big citywide event, to coincide with New Years in the real world? She knew that time in the two worlds did, indeed, flow differently; but the idea that digimon liked to celebrate these holidays at the same time that humans did in the real world was an interesting thought, in her opinion...!
"Well, I'll be looking forward to the Ceremony, then..!" She'd chirp happily; nuzzling Valt briefly. A thought seemed to have occurred to her as she did, though; her head tilting in a curious fashion. "How's Hikaru feeling about all of this. by the way...? I imagine that being king of Ys must be hard work for him, huh..?"

"Hmmm, well I think it might be better if they build something by themselves like that then? Provide the material and let them build it... and probably ask help from professionals regarding their designs or whatnot... but I wonder if it's fine in their opinion if strangers also pitched in?"
Valt still have no idea how feral is Cassie's family. From the sound of it, currently in his head:
Gertrude - Feral, Feral mindset
Callus - Semi-Feral, Civilized mindset
Ophelia - Neutral, Semi-feral mindset
Laertes - Feral, Semi-feral mindset
Cassie - Mostly civilized, Civilized mindset
He have no idea whether this is accurate or not though. Either way, he stroked Cassie's cheek again. "...I... you know, I have this mindset of... if I got involved with someone in personal level, and not just mere colleague-level... I'd like to help them as best as I can. Like... I want to make sure that they will be at home, you know?"
How does Hikaru feel about the ceremony?
"He kinda fusses over it. It's a huge ceremony after all, so... he have to begin the planning now of what to do and all that... He also have to visit various board... You can say that although many said that 'King of Ys' job is just more to figurehead, Hikaru did not think so at all. He's a busy king when it counts, and he want to make special occasion like this counts. I think he's resting at the moment? Last time I heard, he was on the northern district..."

"Dad probably would appreciate the help tons. Mom might be grumpy and perhaps a bit territorial, but I think we'd be able to keep her calm." Cassie mentioned. "I imagine that when this came up between me and Ophi, and Tetsu and Gryz, during movie time, I think we made Mom out to be scarier than she really is when we were joking around, eheh... She can be territorial, and probably will get crabby at people if they wander onto her lawn, but I think that Dad would be able to keep her calm, y'know?"
The touch to her cheek would make Cassie hum, though; her head tilting into Valt's hand, eyes drifting closed, and her tail slowly wagging. Her ears would perk a little, though, as Valt spoke; her eyes opening again to look up at him, and giggling warmly. "I really appreciate it, and... If you ever need help with anything, you can ask me, too, okay?" She'd mention to Valt; attempting to 'stand' on her hind flippers, against Valt's torso, to nuzzle him the best she could.
Huhm... So being King did seem like it was a lot of busy work, then. Cassie didn't have too much to say to it, but she'd nod in understanding; settling down on Valt's lap once more. "Do you think there's any way we could help him..?" She'd ask instead; adding "Me and Ophi tend to get a lot of freetime, so we don't mind lending a hand to him, in one way or another!"

"So basically, think of Ophi, but more stoic and 'Fite me' triggerhappy?" Valt asked to make sure. It reminds him the first time Ophi is here, she looked so uneasy. Even the room felt 'strange' for her, so much that she just decided to sleep with Karin for a while until she finally used to it. He wonder if she still sleep with Karin to this day? The girl doesn't mind and even love sleeping with felines after all...
"Well I guess if she's more or less like Ophi, I can handle her... somewhat."
Then again he had no idea what she looked like exactly, so... He guess this is going to wait for some time. He snapped out of his thought with Cassie cuddling on him. He gently lifted her and licks her cheek. "Um... I haven't said this but... thanks for giving me chance to... you know, date with you. And thank you for being so understanding... Yeah if I need help I'll tell you. Don't worry about it."
Hmmm, Cassie want to volunteer?
"I think you can help by overseeing canal transport. There will be a lot of tourist that day after all, so Hikaru suggested that perhaps we add flat raft or something that can be pulled by an aquatic Digimon and steered by land Digimon. That, and... let's see... I think you can also help decorate the streets? And maybe you can also think of things you want to show in the festival. Anything to make merry. Remember golden week? It'll be quite like that."
