Rosewood had experienced a rapid growth over the past couple of (real world) years, thanks to the efforts of a few that had persisted in helping with the expansion into a full-fledged city. To be there was to be witness to history in the making, as every step forward helped cement this new beacon of civilization (in the East) as a project that had reached fruition.
Of course, Omen did not know any of this, because Omen was not only exceedingly young, but also not very well versed with the world around her just yet. The Wispmon had already been reluctant to separate from her sister for the time being (under the pretense of covering more ground if they split up in the Eastern Timberlands for the sole purpose of exploration), so entering a new city...even if it was just that, a new city...
It was a little scary. Not only that, it was also quite reminiscent of another taking her first steps into the world at large, years ago. Or like someone taking their first steps into an ancient city. But, she was here.
The only problem, though?
"...Where am I supposed to go?" Where the heck were you meant to go if you were a new Digimon around these parts? The armless critter gave a cautious look around the entrance to Rosewood she came in from and began to walk without aim.
Careful as she was, however, she'd still likely end up tripping or bumping into someone. Wispmon were like that, unfortunately. Didn't help she was smaller than several things, like the Greymon lumbering around, or the other assorted gang of reptiles that needn't be described.

If Whitewater was a good hangout place on a good Friday night, then Rosewood made for a good casual Thursday visit, at least for Kenny and Skadi. And frankly, after a long day of work for Kenny, it was at least nice to relax, probably grab a bite to eat, or even chill out with a good show or two. And frankly, after the batshit insanity that was the Ebonwumon mission, it just felt good to have everything so... normal around here.
Of course, Periperi opted to tag along with our titular duo today, and for two reasons: 1. in order to gauge what happened during that important mission that day, and 2. well, just to hang out with them. Unlike Skadi, she wasn't as much interested in participating sparring or exhibition matches as she was with exploring, or discovering new and unique things.
Besides, she was always happy to watch.
And speaking of the mission, as they walked along the city of Rosewood, Periperi's eyes caught sight of the makeshift battle arena nearby, logs, crater, burnt grass and all. She was quick to point a finger at it, "Hey Kenny, Skadi! Was that the arena that you and Kitt fought in the other day?" She inquired with a quizzical look on her face.
Skadi happily nodded in response with a grin, "Yep! And let me tell you, Kitt was amazing back there. He actually managed to reach his Ultimate form there by himself! Shame we kinda had to call off the battle early because of... you know." She shrugged wryly, "We've actually considered him taking him to Valt to help fine tune his skills a little soon."
"Ooooooh." Periperi's eyes glistened with interest, "You guys mind if I watch you train sometimes?"
"I don't see why not!" Kenny added, Skadi giving another nod with a smile, "Besides, I don't think Valt would mind if someone watched him. Just... make sure you stay a good distance away when they're sparring, for you own safety. He and his disciples can get really batshit insane on the field." That was a complete understatement. Sometimes, he swore that Ophelia and Skadi lacked a proper off switch to call their own.
"Okay! Got it!" The young Ludomon cried out loud, saluting the tamer. Kenny just pat her on the head lightly. That kid did mean well, even if she was quite young. After all, she was still a kid. And kids were always learning new things, and clearly, first-cycle Digimon like here were no exception to that rule.
Kenny let out a light chuckle as he shuffled his hands into his pockets, letting himself relax and take his mind off things... until Periperi let out a surprised yelp, stumbling back in surprise, and right into Skadi's arms. The worried Valaismon shot her a look, as did Kenny, "Periperi! Are you OK?" She cried, pulling her up back to her feet.
"I'm... fine." The Ludomon rubbed her head, "I think I must have bumped into something." After blinking a few times to recover her vision, her eyes laid upon an unique soot black fox-like Digimon with a giant claw-like tail. Quickly, she raised her hands in panic, "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you there! Are you OK?" Her face was contorted with concern and worry.
Skadi was quick to step up for Periperi, rubbing the back of her head, "Yeah, sorry about that. We were just walking along and chatting when she accidentally bumped into you. It's our fault, we're sorry." Kenny said nothing, but nodded to the soot coated fox as well.

Pain was something Omen had not registered often but whenever she did, it seemed to always resonate above every other sense she had at the moment, with the Wispmon tumbling back and falling flat on her ass. What even did bump into her, anyways? The Wispmon opened her eyes as she shifted around, using her tail to right herself, odd as it looked.
Was she okay?
"No." Omen stated, quite flatly. "That hurt. A lot. I'm told the kind of Digimon I am is...naturally clumsy, though. So, I'm sorry if I bumped into you..." Did she even recognize the fact that Kenny and co. were apologizing to HER first? No, the Wispmon probably didn't.
Omen leveled a stare at Kenny, Skadi, and Periperi. There was an air of familiarity to them, but it wasn't anything Omen would recognize. Nor would it really...matter. She kept staring for a second, before she started to fire off questions. "What were you talking about? Do you come here often? Who are you? ...Why are your friends' fingers like that?"
How would the grand trio of KIZNA respond to this?
