Shade leaned to look over the paper, his eyes reading it over a few times and ultimately? He’d eat the sheet of paper, processing the information that way before turning to leave. He didn’t really need the extra pain and agonizing about all of this on the go. Better for him to just have it in his system as a firm memory than anything else.
”Should be easy to find this many mons. Dog’s bosses should be more careful with their workers.”
He knew how things worked, he knew how the top dogs of varying turfs treated their lessers. He knew how betas and omegas worked. He didn’t much care for large corporations or for the groups that were associated with them. Especially the sort that came with those painful collars and painful memories.
Splitting up was a bad idea to shade but he didn’t much care if the others wanted to split. It wasn’t what he was asked to do. Keep an eye out for enemies; that’s what was asked and that’s what he would do. It was just that plain simple.
He didn’t seem to mind the others all too much and given the fact he was helping probably led to some worrying thoughts. The wraithmon growled a little bit as he processed the list a little further. The levels of this were beyond his ken. If this threat was something that could take out a mega was he out of his depth? He’d have to know more about this situation before having to pull back. For now?
His eyes would rotate, glare and gaze around.
His watch was omnidirectional, looking back and forward at the same time. Glaring eyes sprouting up along the length of the walls that he was in. Almost making it seem like he was everywhere in the tunnel as he moved along…
The wraithmon would pausewhen kitt wanted to go down the other tunnel. Was that really safe for him? He’d consider something for a moment before quietly going forward. Truly speaking? He didn’t care about the situation here but… the money would help him quite a bit. He didn’t have much left after getting captured by whitewater; they had used his bits to more or less firmly plant him in the city.
”Hmm. Shade doesn’t see anything yet.”

Truth be told, both the team in the surface and Auric seemed to expect such a decision to be done quickly but...they certainly didn't expect it to be this quick, nor this dramatic, for lack of a better word. Whatever was going on through the Spadamon's mind clearly had him distraught, and in need of alone time at any cost. Even if that meant taking the innitiative and going on the opposite tunnel as the rest of the team.
Auric seemed to want to interject, but stopped himself. Whatever was going on between him and the rest it was better for them to solve it on their own. Wizen wasn't nearly as quiet, simply stammering out a meek response through the intercom.
"I-if you're certain Kitt. We'll keep a close eye on the radar but please do be careful." There was an awkward silence for a moment, perhaps waiting to see if anyone would go after him, but after a moment he'd speak up again. "Well...I'm still not getting any reads up ahead so you guys should be all hunky dory as they say."
"You heard the mon." The prairiemon shrugged, before slowly starting to make his way into the right tunnel. Ahead, only dim darkness awaited the four of them.
They would spend a good couple of minutes walking, again not finding much of note in their way, other than a number of either broken or dimmed light bulbs hanging from the left of them. As they went deeper they'd surely start to notice the splashing sound their footsteps would now make, small puddles of water spread along the cave floor ahead.
"Weird. Must be walking under a lake or somethin." Auric mused with a whisper.
They wouldn't go for much longer until the comm spoke up again, however.
"Oh...right tunnel, we're detecting a small blip 10 meters ahead of you. It's currently unmoving but please approach with caution."
Sure enough, if they looked hard enough they would notice something on the distance, just outside the range of their lightsources. Shade would probably be the first to see it, the trio that was less used to the dark having a bit of a harder time making it out clearly until they were a bit closer. Regardless it stood there, unmoving, unresponsive. A blocky shaped mass of dull colors laying on the ground, covered in grime and bruises.
Could it be one of the missing miners?
Regardless of how long Kitt stayed put inside the tunnel, it wouldn't take long for...something, to be heard. It was faint at first, but certainly not inaudible. A rhythmic tapping seemed to be moving along side the tunnel, echoing endlessly along it's barely illuminated surface. It was hard to tell because of the sound echoing onto itself again and again but...it almost seemed to be getting closer.
But...that couldn't be right. This was supposed to be the tunnel with the least activity right? If there was something there, surely Wizen would have warned him...right?

The wraithmon didn’t have much of a issue being in the front; but with the others speaking to one another in such a way it was a surprise to him that they weren’t trying to drag kitt along. He’d huff a bit and pause, some of his eyes glancing back in irritation at the others. He didn’t want to get too far ahead of them but rather than say something he’d just keep to himself.
The walking of the others was the signal he needed and the shadow digimon would work his way forward. His multitude of shape and size allowed for him to practically spin around the width of the passage. His eyes looking every which way. Even with the water and puddles on the ground. He’d avoid going through those or touching them; he didn’t know what was in that water and wasn’t going to risk it.
”Fight maybe?”
Some digimon did have water in their repertoire and it wouldn’t be too out of normal for one of the many mons to have some kind of water attack. Hearing wizen speak through the comms the Wraithmon stopped dead in his tracks. So they ran into their first blip; was it an enemy or was it a friend?
It wasn’t hard for him to spot the dull colored blocky shape; was that one of the andromon’s maybe? The wraithmon narrowed his eyes and stepped out of one of the walls with ease. His body condensing into proper form and practically tearing itself off of the wall as he became ‘physical’ again.
”Be on guard.”
Shade growled lightly and approached the shape, one hand vibrating a bit as he tried to decide if he should bother making it into a blade or splitting it into many different limbs. Ultimately it would depend on the creature in front of them. He’d get close enough and reach out to touch the blocky shape...

Post by Kenny O'Hara and Skadi on Jul 8, 2020 7:01:11 GMT
Even with the apparent building resentment Kenny and Skadi could feel coming from Kitt, the two still felt a sorry pang of concern over the little Spadamon. It was becoming clear that being leader and ensuring the team made all the right choices wasn't as easy as he himself thought it would be; Yuuki and Hikaru made it look easy! Ryouta and Valt made it look easy! Bezil himself made it look so easy, even a dead goldfish could do it! Neither opted to respond any further, but both still looked at the brooding Spadamon with concern, with Kenny only giving a sad sigh.
Still, concerning the fork, with Kitt opting to take the left path all by himself. While KIZNA rules pretty much discouraged working solo, they did need to give him some space, and he raised a few good points too about the left path. Kenny just gave a nod to the Spadamon, "I understand. Just... call us if you need anything, OK? We'll be there in no time, like a real team."
With Kitt shuffling off into the darkness, Kenny let out another sad sigh as he stuffed his free hand into his pockets, the other still wielding the torch as he and Skadi veered into the right with the rest. Neither knew what to say. They only had to do what they had to do for a reason concerning Shade. They knew from the moment he first arrived, he was waving quite a few red flags concerning his behaviour coinciding with his fearsome appearance, including the fact his first action was literally not 'attack on sight', but rather, 'try to talk with others'. But Kitt's words still rang loud in his head.
And needless to say, they wouldn't be dying down anytime soon.
Neither paid no real heed to the puddles soaking into their feet, explorers like them were practically used to it by now. Rather, they'd stop the moment Wizens spoke up once more, and, like requested, approach them closer, aiming to shine their flashlight at the source, to a blocky figure laying on the ground, worse for wear.
Unlike Shade, they would keep their distance from the figure, but Skadi did look up at him as he got closer, "Just be careful, Shade. That might be a booby trap or something." She could only watch to see what would happen next, but was ready to act upon anything. She just hoped Shade wouldn't attack the figure, should it be an innocent miner.
Valt did teach her it was better to strike second, after all.
Meanwhile, Kenny just looked at Auric as he pulled out his D-Nexus and pointed it at the blocky figure ahead, "I'm just going to scan this thing quickly, just in case. Give me a minute." As he scanner, his mind inevitably drifted back to Kitt. Was he OK? Perhaps when he calmed down, then he'd truly understand why neither opted to risk angering a hellbeast like Shade.
Hopefully, he'd be safe as he promised.
Kenny scans the mysterious blocky Digimon(?) with the Improved Scanner.
Improved Scanner: An improved scanner that subtly displays a Digimon's combat information on your screen. If given a post to clearly scan a Digimon, you learn their name, attribute, type, and family, along with a quick description and two of their signature moves.

In his temporary solitary, Kitt was somewhat glad that Kenny and Skadi weren't here to see him like this: a total scary-cat mess of a Digimon. His fur and mane still stood on end as he got on to both of his knees, wiping away the tears that came down his face. As good as Kenny's attentions were, he still couldn't see how they could benefit from working with a monster like Shade. His bestially mannerisms, the way he moves, just everything about him screamed nightmare fuel.
The Spadamon raised the Blue Queen and rested his head one of the blades. The cold steel gave him a little bit of comfort. He closed his eyes "Oh Eris, I wish I was more like you. I wish I could make myself more heard so that my voice matters. I wish I wasn't afraid to speak my mind and show everyone how strong I've gotten, how strong I could become. I..." his words trailed off, eyes looking past his blade and into the distance.
His ears for a moment perked up. A faint, rhythmic beating was heard moving across the walls of the tunnel, slowly getting louder and louder. Dr. Wizen said that this was the tunnel with the least activity compared to the tunnel everyone else took, so why was it active now? He couldn't sense any Digimon, at least, not yet, but the phenomenon was enough to put him on edge.
"What is this?" The lion Digimon suddenly looked very serious. Brandishing his weapon, Kitt got into his fighting stance. He took a deep breath, his eyes beginning to take on the same gold glow as the first time he reached the Champion level. "I'll be brave for you, Eris. I promise."
As a safety precaution, Kitt decided that now would be the best time to evolve. He was enveloped in a bright light, his form giving away and materializing into his Champion form: WhiteLeomon.
"Whoever's out there, show yourself!" He pointed his mechanical katana into the darkness. "I won't ask a second time."

Auric gave Shade an unsure shrug. Really, some water puddles in a mine shaft like this could mean literally anything, so until they had any other evidence to suggest an answer it was better not to make any assumptions, regardless of how benign or not they could be. Not that he gave much thought to that topic regardless, as something would come up soon enough to make the Prairiemon forget all about the puddles. The prone figure didn't move an inch even as Shade got close enough to make out more details: a shiny, metallic exterior shell marred by countless scratches, dents and rust covering large chunks of the creature's surface. Furthermore it would seem as the mon was missing part of a leg, the place where the limb should be abruptly cutting off into a mess of wires and twisted metal. Shade would most likely know what it was around the same moment as Kenny's scanner brought back the same answer: - Species: Andromon
- Level: Ultimate
Before anyone could even do as much as react to this new information, the mechanical digimon would slowly attempt to move. It's arm clumsily reaching for something stuck underneath his chest. With some difficulty he'd extract a somewhat oval shaped white thing with red stripes all over, before carefully placing it in front of it's ruined body. A digi egg. "Damnit..." The prairiemon said as he reached for the communication device on his ear. "Doc, I think we found two of your missing members...what's left of 'em, at least.""Oh no. No time for interviews, please send them up as soon as you're able! They need attention right this instant." The concerned voice from the speaker cried out, before going eerily quiet for a moment. "And do it post haste, we're detecting quite a sizeable blip heading towards you on the other end of the tunnel..."
On Kitt's end meanwhile, things didn't seem to be looking up either. The skittering would momentarily stop as the voice of the newly evolved Kitt rang out, almost as if taken aback by sudden command. It would soon enough come back however, this time faster, louder. And it wouldn't be the only thing Kitt would hear. "Yourself. Yourself. Yourself. Yourself." A monotone drone of a voice would repeat itself ad nauseum as the skittering got closer, never seeming to get any louder but certainly getting closer. Soon he would see it. Two piercing glowing dots staring at him from the other end of the dark tunnel, obscured by a darkness that seemed to be following whatever was hiding behind it. Frozen in place. Unmoving. The only source of noice being a quiet tapping against the rock, always accompanied by that droning voice. "Time. Time. Time. Time."Whatever was on the end of the tunnel seemed pretty content with standing there and waiting for now...but for how long?

"Sweet Jesus Christ..." Kenny could weakly mutter as he looked at the apparent 'corpse' of the Andromon, wrecked beyond belief. It was enough to make his stomach churn like crazy; something or someone looked to make quick work of him. Even the normally brave Skadi could feel a sense of queasiness slinking behind her the longer she looked at the nearly unrecognisable body.
All they could do was watch as the battered robot pulled out a more familiar looking oblong object out of his body, yet neither said anything. But they could tell something was out there. Still, quietly biting his lip, he just gave an affirmative nod as he and Skadi dug into their respective Infini-Stones to pull out the metallic teleport belts, and wrapped them around the Andromon and Digitama, respectively.
Kenny did make sure not to lay any part of the belt onto anything that looked like a sensitive spot.
Just as they finished applying the belt upon both bot and egg, Auric's words rang out once more - and Kenny's eyes widened. 'Sizeable blip'? Again, Kenny found himself biting his lip as he glanced up ahead, as did Skadi. But they knew that the two member's safety was of first priority. With Kenny unable to find the words to say anything, the sight alone enough to silence him, Skadi just whispered quietly, "Alright. We got the belts around the two. You ready to send them up, Auric?"
Only when the two were indeed safe would the group venture further into the unknown.

Kitt kept his guard and defenses up. The rhythmical tapping ceased as his voice echoed out into the dimly lit tunnel. It was almost like he scared her off. But soon enough, the tapping returned, but this time more louder and faster. But that was not the only thing the White Leomon heard.
A voice reached out to him, claiming to be him. Immediately, Kitt slightly unsheathes Blue Queen from his scabbard, the katana projecting a slight shimmer as he assumes a stance. And then, he saw it: two piercing glory red eyes looking at him from the darkness. Kitt growled. Something was going to happen, whatever that thing is was going to do something, he knew that. It was just waiting for an opening. Waiting for a chance, when the Kitt would drop his guard.
It echoed again, this time saying ‘time.’ Kitt tightened his grip. “Don’t play riddles with me, I warn you.” He said in a stern tone. “Are you responsible for the missing researchers and rescuers that came down here? If so, then show yourself! For only cowards hide in the shadows.”
Even though the entity before him was a threat, Kitt decided to not make a move, only tightening up his defenses so that he’ll be ready for the entity to make its move. Besides, if he attacked blindly, he didn’t want to risk bringing down the tunnel and trapping himself there.

The andromon in front of him yielded very little in the way of answers, other then extreme damage and the egg… Well there wasn’t much more for shade to address. So he’d step past them and allow for the others to deal with them. His job was to watch out for foes right? So he’d just keep doing that.
He’d snarl in irritation however when he heard that there was a sizeable blip heading their way! He’d prepare himself and consider options. Sizeable meant that they were powerful right? What options did he have if the Andromon was an ultimate and had been beaten so easily?
With a growl he felt his form shiver, shudder and twist a bit. The options didn’t seem good to him; so he took his form further and further. Unlike most digimon his digivolution was nasty and tainted in darkness. His form congeled and stepping out of where shade had been standing was a beast with harsh blue eyes.
His low growling was easy to pick up on and a splash of water came from him getting ready. This mon was different somehow than shade; even though it was the same mon it acted almost… protective of those behind him!
”Then goat and human should get ready for a fight. Shade doesn’t like this.”
The tall wolfen creature snarled and took a ready stance, his claws flexing and clutching in irritation…
Log: -Shade digivolves to WraithGururumon and gets ready for combat!

Neither Auric nor Wizen needed to be told twice. With a moment's notice and a quick wave of the prairiemon's claw, a blue light quickly enveloped both egg and digimon, air being filled with enough energy to make the hairs of the group stand up, if only for a brief moment. Just as quickly as that feeling came it went, both bodies now completely gone from the tunnel, nothing left of them but the flash of light no doubt still burned in the group's eyes. After a tense moment of silence however, good news would finally reach their ears from the other side of the speaker. "Teleportation succesful. Nicely done team, we'll tend to them ASAP, so please feel free to keep your attention on whatever is barreling down towards you right now." Wizen said, trying and probably failing to bring some small amount of levity to the situation at hand. Whatever relief those news could have however wouldn't last long, as the unmistakeable sound of rock being crushed and toss aside became ever so louder. Deafening even. But...there was something odd about it. It didn't seem to be coming from the tunnel ahead. "GET DOWN!" Was all the warning the prairiemon could shout as he ducked, claws raised to shield his head from what was coming. After which came an explosion of rock and dust, shards being sent everywhere with blinding speed as one of the walls caved in, a massive figure literally emerging from the wall with the same ease as someone punching throw a paper wall. The massive brute stopped for a moment, as if not entirely sure of it's surroundings for a moment. Soon however, it's eyeless face slowly turned in the direction of the group and, without missing a beat, let out a loud, primal roar as it beated it's chest with one of his rock sized fists. That was all the Baboongamon did before lunging forward at the four of them, his fist swinging widely in an arc as it turned into a crystalized stump.
The left tunnel's entity didn't move, what were probably it's eyes simply tilting to a side, in an almost child like manner as it let Kitt speak, pressing the being for answers. "Warn you. Warn you. Warn you." It simply repeated, mockingly? It was impossible to tell, it's tone was as hard to read as it's shape. It seemed this was all the white lion would ever get out of this creature, until it seemed to fall...even quieter than usual at the use of a particular word. Or rather words. "Researchers. Rescuers. Responsible." It repeated a couple times, taking a long, heavy breath before giving a single answer to all of that. It would be impossible for Kitt to tell for sure, but something about the way the creature said the next word made it seemed as if it was smiling as it said so. "Yes."As those words were uttered, something sprang from out of the nebulous cloud of darkness. The coal colored appendage shot out of the darkness without warning, the tendril shaped thing aiming to stab right through Kitt's chest. Yet even then, the creature still sat in darkness, hidden behind the curtain of impenetrable shadows...

It was simple to him; simple that they had rescued a pair of individuals. One near death and the other in an egg. It was something they came here for. The number of people they had come to rescue now dwindled ever so slightly. But that didn't quite sit right with him; why were they here of all places? Why were they so close to the exit butweren't able to get out? Hearing the warning from the prairiemon the wraithgururumon hopped back; just as that baboongamon blasted out of the wall. A being he had never fought before and judging by the way that it acted it likely was not responsible for the damage to the andromon. If it had been well… there wouldn’t have been an andromon left. Judging by it's apperance it was a close quarters fighter and a powerful one at that. ”Be on guard. This might not be the only one. Fight smartly or not at all.”The creature lunged forward and shade shifted to meet his blow with a brutal one of his own. Ducking under the attack and bringing his elbow spike up to punch into the creature’s chest. If successful he’d use the momentum to slam the baboongamon face first into the ground in an up and over fashion! As far as a fighter went; shade was not one to shy away from tricks or things that would move the fight in his favor. It would line up his companions to hit the being with everything they had and it was unlikely that the monster would get away unscathed. Log: -Shade uses ice splitter to target the baboongamon’s chest -hoping to use the momentum of their attack to open them up to some from the others. Passive: Old One|Combat Passive: This digimon is far older than it remembers, far older than those that interacted with it feel. It's memories are halting, it's body is shifting and twisting to such a degree that none can remember that it too was an old one. It puts off a constant wretched and forgotten aura, one that derives from primal times of the digital world. It is merely a fraction of it's potential of it's power. Manifested in a thirty foot aura of wrong and fear. Those that reside within the digital family of 'unknown' are the only ones not affected by this aura. Outside of combat this digimon's aura is less intense. Fighting against this digimon long term is difficult as this aura can indeed mess with even the most potent warriors of equal level to it. Those more powerful are unaffected and individuals immune to such mind effecting abilities on the same level... find that their immunity is far less as this ability bypasses them completely. [PC/NPC approval required for fear effect.] In short, this fear aura bypasses immunities gradually.
Black Ice|Combat Passive: This digimon has spent a long time in the north, hardening and deepening it's body with the primal element of ice. Cold or ice based attacks are ineffective against it while fire damages it twice over.
Sturdy|Combat Passive: This digimon's body is durable from spending so long in the north, the memories of that place has steeled it to attacks that would often leave others pulverized. It ignores the knock back portion of attacks and takes 15% reduced damage from all physical sources.
Hoarfrost|Combat Passive: This digimon's body is a strange one; denser than most and far more in tune with the climate that it grew in. Within cold or frozen climates this digimon enjoys a strong regeneration while in hot climates it's regeneration is mild at best… Move: Ice-Splitter: Using one of it's elbow spikes this digimon breaks through defensive moves in a pinch. Shattering them like one would shatter a thin pane of glass. The weight behind this move is considerable and when not used against a defensive move this instead punctures into the body instead. Three post cooldown. Cooldown: IS: [0/3]

Even as both the Andromon and his egg'd partner found themselves enveloped in a bright light before vanishing from their sight in a flash, forcing the two to shield themselves and look away, the nigh battered, bordering on incomprehensible, frame of the Perfect-level Digimon, had all but burned himself into Kenny's mind already. Not even Wizen's reassurance could help dilute the image from his head entirely.
Not helping was, as the sounds of rocks being crushed effortlessly echoed throughout the cave, the two would glance over to Shade's dark evolution, or rather, mutation. Yet he seemed much less... frighting than the preceding form, the exact same form who's rows and rows of eyes just barely lost out to his rows of teeth. Still, they complied, and with another flash of light, this time coming from the D-Nexus, followed by Skadi's herself, as she quickly jumped to her own Perfect-form, Markhormon.
The goat-woman held her sword in a defensive stance, holding it sideways to ready herself to whatever would come. Speak of the devil, the Markhormon shot a glance over to the Baboongamon dead ahead, locking her eyes towards the masked monkey's. Even as it charged straight ahead towards the group, she stayed put.
Kenny, on the other hand, was quick to react. With the Champion-level primate charging towards them, he stood in front of Auric with his D-Nexus tightly gripped in hand. The moment the Baboongamon swung, a barrier of light would emerge from the shield. The moment it made contact with it, the barrier would shatter into a million tiny pieces, but both Kenny and Auric would remain unscathed.
With Shade now going directly onto the offensive, Kenny would quickly grab Auric, swinging his entire body over his shoulder, and flee to a potential safe space, away from the main battle itself. He paid no heed to the puddles, nor the water soaking into his shoes, nor his own heart pounding like crazy. Once he got what he felt was far enough away from the battle would he stop.
Panting like crazy as he gently hauled Auric off his shoulder and leaning down to his level, only taking a moment to glance towards the battle, he addressed the Prariemon with an exhausted, yet comforting, look, "Shit, Auric, are you OK?"
As for Skadi, as the Baboongamon gave a mighty swing towards her, the Markhormon still stood firm, her hooves digging into terra firma. She could feel the pressure as the baboon's fist collided with her sword, grunting a little, but barely giving the ape a single inch. Rather, she kept her eyes on him, and him alone.
"I hope not." Skadi simply quipped in response, "I've already dealt with enough batshit crazy wild Digimon to last me an entire lifetime."
Still, with Shade opting to go for a powerful looking sucker punch, looking to follow up to slam the Baboongamon right into the ground, the Markhormon already knew what she had to do, a light blue aura starting to coat her sword. She tightly gripped onto her hilt as she lifted the great sword over her head, her gaze still on the Champion-level beast Digimon.
"Stand back, Shade, this could get pretty messy." She warned, as she plunged her sword down, aimed directly at the Baboongamon's potentially exposed back. Had it successfully made contact, the sword itself would explode in a flurry of bone-chilling ice and snow that would potentially damage the ape further, and force him deeper into the earth below, possibly leaving a Baboongamon-shaped crater in it's place.
All she hoped for at this point was they could finish this quickly, and potentially meet up with Kitt again, hopefully calmed down and more understanding of their admittedly controversial choice.
Just one problem; how was Kitt holding up without them, anyways?
Skadi defends herself with her sword to block, and mitigate, the damage from Boulder Jab. The Moutaineer passive reduces this damage further. Taking advantage of Shade's sucker punch, she aims to directly strike Baboongamon in the back with Snowstorm Geyser.
Snowstorm Geyser (RAM Upgrade): Skadi rams her sword, coated in the familiar icy aura, into the ground. Underneath the opponent’s feet (in a 100m radius), a giant geyser of ice and snow erupts, inflicting powerful ice damage and potentially launching them into the air in the process from the pressure alone. This attack can also strike flying Digimon as well. (If there are more than one opponent, Skadi can select who gets hit by this attack, giving it a bit of an element of surprise). If Skadi rams her sword into the opponent instead, then they take the same full blast directly to their body, producing the same effect as before, but instead launching the in the direction opposite of where she strikes them. (2 post cooldown)
Kenny uses the Light Screen gadget to defend himself and Auric from Baboongamon's Boulder Jab, using the opportunity to flee the fight while the others deal with the ape Digimon directly.
Light Screen (gadget): A screen of light that protrudes from the Digivice, allowing humans a minor degree of protection. It can weather up to three Rookie attacks or one Champion attack before collapsing. It can collapse with a 3-post recharge time two times in a thread. On the third recharge, it breaks.
Passives: Mountaineer: Markhormon possesses a tough and well-rugged body that has survived even the harshest of winters. This in turn reduces damage from all Ice attacks by 50% and physical attacks by 30%. However, she takes 50% more damage from fire attacks.
Toxic Immunity: Markhormon’s immune system naturally prevents Skadi from suffering poison/corrosion from any attacks/passives, or suffering any ill effects from them (damage, paralysis etc). Likewise, her foamy saliva, if swallowed, or in some cases, rubbed into an affected area of a poison victim, will automatically heal the Digimon of any poison/corrosion effects they may suffer… if they’re willing to use it at all, obviously. If used on an ally, then they have up to 2 poison/corrosion effects lifted from them, and Skadi goes through a 3 turn cooldown period, where she will be no longer immune to effects from poison/corrosion until it finishes. If Skadi digivolves to this form while poisoned/corroding, then she will automatically be cured in the same post.
Buffs/Nerfs: N/A
Cooldowns: Snowstorm Geyser: 0/2 Light Screen: 0/3, two uses remaining

Kitt eyes narrowed as he took in the words of the entity before him. It seems that his warning feel on deaf ears as it was repeating certain words over and over again. "Fine then," was all he said for a moment. Then, the whispered voice answered his question, saying it was responsible for what happened down here. This was enough for the WhiteLeomon to come to his decision: it was time to fight. The creature was the first to attack, shooting out tendrils from its mysterious body. In response to this, Kitt raised one hand outward as a orange hexagonal barrier materialized around him, protecting him from the attack the aimed to impale him in the chest. It pulsed and vibrated as the attack attempted to pierce through. The barrier would pulse again, sending out a powerful shockwave that aimed straight at the creature in an attempt to send the tendril and whatever the creature's body looked like away. He lowered his hand. "I guess this doesn't quite cut it. Well..." He then slowly removed Blue Queen from its scabbard, producing an audible 'shnk' sound as the blade was fully drawn out. He gave a sharp, infuriating glare at the two red eyes poking out from the darkness. "You've picked a fight with me at really bad time, because I'm not in a good mood. So instead of peaceful posturing, I think I'll take you down a couple of notches to get my answers, then." The tension in the air was palpable. He was ready to fight. But instead of attacking all willie-nilly, he decided it was best to play it safe for the time being and coordinate his attacks carefully. If he decided to blindly attack it, it'll leave him wide open for trouble since his foe liked sticking to the shadows. As Logane would often put it: "An opponent's mistake will become your greatest weapon." Combat Log:Kitt counters against the mysterious foe's assault with Pride Barrier, with Royal Shockwave sending it back. Pride Barrier - Forms a temporary barrier around the user that absorbs and blocks attacks launched at him. Knock by those up to Champion that attempts to attack him with melee strikes. So much happened during that admitedly short but violent clashing it was a miracle Wizen's equipement was able to record it all. The rocky baboon's swing would meet a target, but not the one it had intended, it's fist would easily shatter Kenny's shield as if it were glass, but dissapointingly didn't seem to damage anyone standing behind it. Before it could do anything else he'd find himself being flung back by Shade's elbow with such strenght he'd now be on the ground, where Skadi's attack would blast him further into the ground. The ape roared in anger and pain but didn't seem to even attempt to fight back as it sunk further and further into the cave's floor.
As for Auric well, he'd find himself looking like a deer caught in headlights from the moment Kenny effortlessly picked him up and placed him in a safer place, only snapping back out of it not by Kenny's question, but rather a loud, deep laughing fit coming right out of their intercom.
"Bloody hell, Auric, that mentalist kid just saved your arse good, didn't he?!" Loudly proclaimed a new voice from the other side of the speaker, Auric simply sighing and rolling his eyes.
"Yeah. Yeah he did. Now can you let Wizen back on the line, dear?"
"He's busy looking after those two you just saved. That and I'm the one that knows about shooting blokes. Tiny there probably couldn't handle a shot of beer." The groundramon retorted, with an exhasperated "I heard that!" from Wizen being audible in the background afterwards. After that however, the deep voice dragon would speak again, this time a lot more seriously. "As for you two don't just stand there! That monkey's coming back for more!"
He was right, as the Baboongamon was finally returning to the fight...by lunging from below the rocky floor where Shade was standing on, intent on delivering a swift uppercut at the dark digimon. Had he digged his way from the crater Skadi had created?
Kitt's counter attack was surprising, but not unexpected. The shockwave did manage to send both the cloud and whatever was behind it reeling back a couple of feet, but it didn't dissuade the entity in the slightest.
"Bad...Mood." It repeated once again, it's same intonation and inflection as Kitt, but every sillable coming out from it's mouth(?) in the same monotone, unnatural manner, as if it didn't fully grasp the meaning of each word fully, just the general context.
"Take you down...Get my...cut."
The cloud of darkness seemed to quite literally pulsate for a moment, bright purple and dark blue lights seemingly lighting up behind it, allowing Kitt to make out a vague shape of what was behind it, if only for a second. It was tall, almost as tall as the tunnel itself, but it seemed hunched over somehow, if the placement of what seemed to be the head and it's always glowing eyes were of any indication. He wouldn't get long to appreciate more of it's details however, as those lights glowed even more brightly as two beams of concentrated energy shot out from behind the cloud, intent on blasting Kitt back in kind.
Baboongamon takes damage from both Ice Splitter and Snowstorm Geiser, before hiding underground with Stone Diver and retaliating with Rockppercut.
? ? ? is pushed back by Kitt's Pride Barrier and attacks with Crystal Stream.
Active Passive: Stone Diver: After taking damage Baboongamon can hide under any rocky surface and move to reposition and reappear from any other rocky surface nearby. Furthermore any ensuing attack deals double damage. Four post cooldown.

Crystal Stream: Summon's two crystals to orbit around ? ? ? body, before blasting the enemy with two beams of pure energy. Deals heavy damange to an unprotected target, and half damage if the target has a shield or extra defense. Three post cooldown.

Seeing that his blow merely laid the baboon out on their ass brought a slight from to his face. The wraithgururumon shifted his weight and with Skadi’s effor they’d see the other brought even lower. To the point of where it sunk into the floor. Wait it could phase into the floors? Shade’s eyes flicked this way and that uncertain of their safety and the digimon took a ready stance. Uncertain of where the other would appear from. They had a few sparse moments where Auric was belittled by the groundramon; shade snarled in irritation and found himself on the receiving end of a uppercut that normally would send others flying. Instead the baboongamon would find that shades body absorbed the impact of the blow. Even if the attack itself was pretty hefty; the fist still resting against his face… The wraithgurumon wasn’t moved; physically or mentally and with a snarl he’d make a strike of his own. His claws extending and his fist coming down on the baboongamon; if it struck the digimon would find itself encased in ice. Not to mention how much it’d hurt getting racked by those claws! ”Enough drivel! If you’re not going to be useful in the fight SHUT UP.”That was more directed at what the digimon though of the two talking back and forth. If they hadn’t been talking he probably would have been able to hear where the rock ape was coming from! But instead his focus was split on the two’s needless chatter! Even though the blow from the monkey had left a sizeable amount of damage against the wraithgururmon; his body was already hard at work healing the damage as a burst of steam erupted from the damaged part of his body... Log: -Shade took Rockppercut but wasn’t sent upwards due to Sturdy!-Shade uses Ice-Fang-Fist to retaliate! -Shade’s regeneration has kicked in! Passives: Old One|Combat Passive: This digimon is far older than it remembers, far older than those that interacted with it feel.
Within cold or frozen climates this digimon enjoys a strong regeneration while in hot climates it's regeneration is mild at best… Move: Ice-Fang Fist: Utilizing it's claws for the primary portion of this attack; this digimon makes a savage blow against a target. Encasing them in ice while harshly damaging them and locking their movement for a post. Three post cooldown. Cooldown: IS: [⅓] IFF: [0/3]
