It seemed Mandrake was more than fairing well since Cyberdramon finally released his grip on his legs and flew upward with Mandrake flying up to meet him. The both of them were now sporting various gashes including the painful looking cuts on Mandrake's legs and the cuts in Cyberdramon's armor made by Mandrake's wings. Though in pain Mandrake still had strength left in him to fight as he flew around Cyberdramon while the cybernetic dragon kept a careful eye on Mandrake as if wary of any potential tricks the magician could possibly pull.
Staring at Cyberdramon with narrowed blue eyes Mandrake began flapping his wings as sparks began to dance from them before he said "Spark Wing." His magic sent a rain of electrically charged feathers toward Cyberdramon. Knowing he couldn't avoid all of the feathers, Cyberdramon aimed his cannon at the oncoming attack and fired blowing most of the attack away but Mandrake was grinning as if he was waiting for such a move as he dove down at Cyberdramon crashing body first into the ultimate level dragon sending said dragon into a nearby cliffside looking dazed.
Angemon said "It's not that I'm a pacifist it's more like I prefer to heal others than cause them pain but this is one case where my offensive abilities are needed." Angemon then flew low towards Devidramon and Lothar the tug of war still going on. Angemon quietly wondered just how strong this Leomon was at full strength. Channeling holy energy into his fist Angemon then said "Hand of Fate." A strong burst of holy energy burst forth from his fist as he threw a punch. Seeing the attack coming Lothar released Devidramon's tail and dove to the ground for cover which seemed to confuse the Devidramon. The confusion didn't last long as the attack struck sending Devidramon into the ground unconscious.

Faustein had watched as Angemon first retorted at his comment about him being a pacifist and then continued to witness the scene unfold as said Angemon faced the Devidramon and incapacitated him easily with a single "Hand of Fate" move, and that too without Faustein needing to use his Sprite digimon form's power up move, namely "Vital Supplements". Seeing this, he smirked slightly and mused silently Well now, looks like my assistance was not required at all. This is certainly a pleasant surprise, indeed... Outwardly, however, he simply nodded in acknowledgement and remarked to the Angemon "And then, there were two...Bravissimo. Now our escape will be that much more facilitated and expedited due to your efforts."After that, he looked over at the younger brother of the Angemon, namely the Devimon who was still wrestling with the Strikedramon as he had been charged with keeping said enemy preoccupied while his older brother, Angemon, took care of the Devidramon. Now, how to take care of this one?...perhaps first weaken with "Vital Limit"...and then, send in Lothar from one side as a decoy and Angemon from the other as the real attacker...only to have the Devimon backstab and finish the Strikedramon off... With that plan in mind, Faustein began his efforts to put it into play. First, he called the Devimon back, but it was only with great reluctance evident on his disgrunted face that said demon man digimon flew back to land next to Faustein and Angemon. Then, he called Lothar the Elecmon turned Leomon back to his side as well, after which he explained the plan to the three digimon and then all of them agreed upon the plan. Naturally, this retreat caused some initial confusion in the Strikedramon, but that was exactly one of the reasons why Faustein chose this particular strategy. After this initial spell of confusion, however, the enemy Strikedramon started to charge towards them, with the intent to subdue them clearly seen in his eyes. Perfect, just like that...just keep on marching straight for us, you Neanderthal... Now that the Strikedramon was charging, it was evident that he had his sights set on Faustwin and the group which in turn meant that he was not going to be aware of anything else in his periphery. So, Faustein took advantage of this and as per the plan, sent the Angemon and Lothar in a pincer attack on the Strikdramon to get his attention in the middle of his charge. Meanwhile, Faustein started to run headlong towards the Strikedramon to distract him even further, especially by challenging him in an apparently u characteristic manner, for him anyway "Come at me then, and do your worst, you piece of trash!! You are not fit to be a bodyguard or even the lowest of grunts!!"Of course, this provocation had the intended effect upon the Strikedramon in that it made him roar aloud in frustration and rage at the taunt while raising Faustein who had de digivolved temporarily, but then was back in his Sprite digimon form, aka Doupplemon; up by the top of his form's head, aka rhe pill and tablet container "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME, YOU PIPSQUEAK?!! I WILL END YOU!!However, Faustein was not fazed, but simply gazed down at the enraged dragon digimon while replying "What is the matter? Have you suffered damage to your auditory sensors, perchance? How pitiful a sight to behold, you are indeed..."
While Faustein had occupied the Strikedramon's attention thus, little did said hapless enemy know that his defeat was fast approaching from his blind spot directly behind him. Said source of defeat, namely the Devimon, came soaring in and just as they had planned, struck the Strikedramon in the back and managed to inflict quite a serious blow with his "Touch of Evil" attack while the Angemon came from the left with his "Angel Rod" attack which involved charging his staff with his holy energy and then thrustung it at the Strikedramon's unprotected neck. From the right came Lothar with the Leomon signature "Fist of the Beast King" attack, but with his enhanced physical strength, it dealt even more damage than normal. Needless to say, just before all three attacks hit, Faustein managed to extricate himself by using his "Vital Limit" attack which involved him shooting a tablet from the container atop his head and into the Strikedramon's mouth which had been open due to his howl of pain from the Devimon's attack. The tablet in question was one that contained his Dark element energy and thus, it was able to weaken the Strikedramon just enough so Faustein could leap away to safety. The split second afterward resulted in the Strikedramon which now had a gaping wound straight through his abdomen being knocked out cold, but luckily for him, not dead. "And then there was one...almost time now, checkmate in three perhaps..."Faustein said while looking at the last enemy, the Cyberdramon who was still fighting Mandrake the Wizardmon turned Thunderbirdmon, albeit quite unsuccessfully. In order to urge Mandrake to finish off their last enemy, Faustein called out to him "All the others are finished, so feel free to go ahead and deliver the coup de grace!" It is high time that we made our escape after rescuing all of these prisoners and healing everyone's injuries!!" OOC: - Word Count: 896 - Battle Log: - Faustein uses "Vital Limit" on Strikedramon. Usage successful, and Strikedramon's stats decreased, weakening him and letting Faustein get away.
- Devimon attacks Strikedramon with his "Touch of Evil" while Angemon attacks Strikedramon with "Angel Rod" and Lothar the Leomon uses "Fist of the Beast King" on Strikedramon.
- Attack successful, Strikedramon is knocked out cold, leaving Cyberdramon as the only enemy left.

From the sky Mandrake saw the others move to execute a plan created by Stein. A pincer movement was initiated by the others as Stein's natural knack for provoking others came into play before Mandrake's eyes. It seemed Strikedramon's temper was indeed his worst enemy as he came charging towards Stein/Doupplemon only to be beaten in swift order though the sight of Strikedramon's injuries made Mandrake wince but at least Strikedramon was still alive.
Hearing the words of Faustein Mandrake turned back towards a now recovering Cyberdramon who had gotten back up flying up to meet Mandrake in battle again. Fortunately Cyberdramon seemed to be weakening as despite the attempts to growl he was panting his exhaustion now apparent. No illusion would be necessary nor would a full strength attack but Stein was right it was time for the coup de grace. As Cyberdramon flew at him spark danced along Mandrake's wings as he softly flapped them to stay aloft while in the sky a thundercloud began to form just above and in front of him. "Thunder Storm!" Lightning shot forth from the thundercloud striking Cyberdramon in the chest causing Cyberdramon to roar in pain as he hurtled from the sky crashing into the ground unconscious and not likely to just easily leap right back up again.

OOC NOTE: HEREBY SWITCHING FROM MANDRAKE'S ARMOR HUNT TO FAUSTEIN'S SPIRIT TOTEM HUNT FROM THIS POST ONWARD
Faustein smirked as he saw how Mandrake had made short work of the Cyberdramon and thus finished off the group's last remaining obstacle to freedom, or at least put him out of commission for a long while.
Perfect...now then, to rub salt in the wounds of these potential future lab rats, how exactly should I...
Faustein mused silently as he de digivolved back to his human form with an unnerving maniacal glint in his keen crimson red eyes as he, the Angemon, and his younger brother, the Devimon with Lothar walked over to Mandrake was to discuss what to do next. As he walked along, however, he started to get quite the annoying headache, one that just would not leave him in peace due to its persistence. In fact, it started to get bad enough by the time the group reached Mandrake's position that Faustein was visibly wincing every now and then due to the sharp bolts of pain that were shooting through his head now, despite his naturally higher than average pain tolerance threshold
What...is this?...Why am I feeling...so...
He muttered to himself as he stopped short before reaching Mandrake and then, he started to become dizzy as well at which point, a eerily haunting voice started to echo in his head, unbeknownst to the rest of the individuals around him, of course
Hey now...are you not...forgetting something? Something that is...quite important?
As he endured the onslaught of this disembodied voice in his head, Faustein was reminded, strangely enough, of the time when he first met Mandrake. The similarity was, of course, that Faustein heard his voice in his head before he actually met him in person, so he started to surmise that perhaps this was a similar phenomenon, namely, of someone trying to contact him telepathically. However, he could not see or sense anyone or anything in the vicinity that could be a potential source of the telepathy, so he inquired of the voice
Who are...you?...What exactly...do you want...of me?
The voice was apparently the snarky type as it urged him to try to discern the issue himself
Come on, look around, why don't you? Surely...a man of your intellectual caliber...can deduce this much...
Faustein frowned as he heard this, but as he had no other choice but to do so, if for no other reason than to stop these irksome twinges of pain, he decided to heed the voice and looked about and upon doing so, he noticed that all of the prisoners were quite badly injured, and some even looking as though they would be dissolved into data if they were not stabilized soon, some more than others, but overall, it could not be denied that the entire lot needed medical attention and perhaps even more.
Ah, so that's...what this...annoying voice was referring to...egads...this will be truly a troublesome...ordeal, indeed.
As he muttered to himself thus, his innately problem solving oriented, logical mind had already started to attempt the construction of a solution to this current conundrum even without him consciously dwelling on it, which he partially attributed to the influence of the healer digimon Sprite spirit, namely Doupplemon, that was now his partner, with the other part being his problem solver mentality.

Trouble seemed to be over and Mandrake made his way towards the ground to land before letting out a pained his as his feet touched the ground. Dedigivolving back to Wizardmon, Mandrake knelt down as Lothar approached. "Mandrake, are you okay?" Lothar asked as he rested a hand gently on his friend's shoulder.
"I'm alright, old friend, just some minor gashes earned from grappling with Cyberdramon. Luckily I have the ability to handle minor injuries." Mandrake said as his hand began to glow before he then said "Cleansing Soul." He then ran his glowing hand over the cuts on his legs causing them to slowly heal. After the injuries were handled Mandrake rose to his feet and spotted Stein and it seemed he was in pain for some unknown reason as the mad scientist was clutching his head. Reaching up and touching his own forehead, Mandrake tapped into his telepathic powers while Lothar remained silent so as not to disturb him. 'Strange there doesn't seem to be any other mind communicating with Stein and I don't sense any other presences nearby.'
Mandrake then saw that Stein's issues were the least of their problems as Angemon was trying his best to tend to the badly injured but this might be beyond the angel digimon's abilities. Though Lothar had a first aid kit it wouldn't help either so both Mandrake and Lothar went over to try to help Stein while Devimon just watched his big brother looking lost and worried.

Faustein remained in place as he noticed that Mandrake had healed his own injuries in short order while Angemon and Devimon tried to provide first aid as best they could to the injured prisoners and other casualties of the battle. Then, as he watched, he noticed Mandrake and Lothar heading towards him, presumably because they were curious about his wincing in pain every now and then. However, as they approached, he felt the same voice from before echo in his head
You are taking too long here...Very well then...I shall guide you for the time being...as it appears that you require a push...to start on the next phase of your journey...
Naturally, Faustein was confused as to the meaning of the voice's most recent remark, but he did not get a chance to ask since he felt his world go completely white and start wavering as if an illusion was being cast upon him. In reality, it was his soon to be Human Spirit digimon's soul taking over his body in order to control his actions, not that he knew it at present. Then, all at once and with not much else in the way of a warning or preamble, Faustein actually felt his mind disconnect from his senses and could see himself in his mindscape with fog like spots hovering before him like a series of strange television monitors. He could see himself and the others but only as if he were a spectator, not the prime mover. He also did not feel his body move either as his sense of touch was also disconnected for the time being. Then, he heard himself speak, but his usual rich baritone and melodious voice now came out garbled as if another distinctly different voiceprint was mixed into it, a sign to those astute enough to guess at the truth that he was being controlled by another
"This host organic is quite alright and does not require medical attention. Now then, follow me, everyone. It is time to transport all the sick and injured to the clearing a little ways outside this camp so we can start treating them."
Faustein witnessed himself give those directions to Mandrake, Lothar, the Angemon, the Devimon and the rest of the still able bodied digimon in the group after which his body was made to walk over to Mandrake and Lothar to meet them halfway so that they could work out a way to transport all the battle casualties to the designated location.

Mandrake and Lothar watched as it appeared as if the pain Stein was in was causing him problems as the mad scientist began to topple over. Dropping his staff, Mandrake completed the distance to Stein and caught him before he ended up on his face or something. Though shorter than the said human at merely four feet tall, Mandrake was able to hold him up even though it looked like quite the awkward sight.
Meanwhile, Lothar had retrieved Mandrake's staff and silently took hold of Stein's shoulder before handing Mandrake's staff back to him. Then Lothar used his other now freed hand to gently lower Stein to the ground. Mandrake and Lothar looked the human over and other than the pain he was suffering he seemed alright otherwise.
Things grew strange as a voice very different from Stein's came from the scientist instead of his normal voice and it was effective in getting everyone's attention. Angemon and Devimon worked together with the less injured prisoners to help move them. Mandrake, meanwhile, appeared confused as he tapped into his telepathy and sensed nothing. Yet, clearly that was not the case. Lothar wordlessly went to help move the prisoners as well and Mandrake, deciding to go with a gut feeling and hoping he was right, asked "Alright, who are you and what do you want with this human?"

Luckily for Faustein, he did not end up faceplanting on the hard rocky ground due to Mandrake catching him at the last moment, albeit somewhat awkwardly. Of course, since his conscious mind was under the control of another, he did not notice that fact. Aside from that, needless to say, the presence within Faustein's mind at that moment was surprised at the sudden mental intrusion; but managed to recover and respond once more with a poise that was the signature of seasoned physicians or scientists
Oh? What be this? A guest with telepathy? This is quite the surprise, indeed. However, it is quite fortuitous that you and your friend should be present here today...for you see, you two also have an important role in the proceedings that are imminent in this situation. You are to be witnesses, from beginning to end, of this human's ordeal.
The voice paused briefly as if considering its words and then continued, but of course, it remained disembodied as it had been from the moment of its possession of Faustein
The answer to your query is that a certain, shall we say...trial or rite of passage, is being administered by the Grand Priestess in accordance with the Edict of the Sovereigns and the Programmer's Will as well...to see whether he is ready...to receive the power and ability that will allow him to ascend to the advent of the next phase of his...development and to the next stage of his ultimate destiny...and the conduit for that power...is none other than ME!!!
At that point, the disembodied voice uttered a grandiose, and perhaps somewhat deranged, cackle like the one would expect to hear from a stereotypical mad scientist if they were to unveil their master plan to their nemesis. Meanwhile, all the injured prisoners had been transported to the designated location and in the end, the enemies were also transported there, much to the chagrin of said prisoners.

The unknown presence that had taken over Stein mentioned this being a rite of passage yet did not reveal its identity much to the annoyance of both Mandrake and Lothar since neither enjoyed being given the run around in such a manner. Though Mandrake had spoken aloud it seemed the strange being that had possessed Stein deduced he was telepathic though such a trait wasn't unheard of for a Wizardmon.
Lothar, as usual, was silent around the new stranger but his words were unnecessary as Mandrake then said "For what purpose are my friend and I needed and why have you possessed this man? Surely he could be guided without resorting to such an extreme and since I cannot sense your mind you must be some kind of spirit." Mandrake then went silent for a moment before he continued "Or am I wrong?"
By this point all the prisoners were guided to where the stranger wanted them to be and so were Cyberdramon, Strikedramon, and Devidramon though no one was fond of the ones who enslaved them being there as well. Lothar was now on high alert. The Leomon's instincts were usually quite accurate so Mandrake tightened the grip on his staff when Lothar's body went stiff. Though Lothar was strong he was still not at full strength.

The presence in Faustein's mindscape which was controlling his body at present merely chuckled in that same mad scientist stereotype way before deigning to answer Mandrake's query
All will be revealed in due time, and indeed you are correct, I am the spirit of a totem, specifically of this human's next totem. Now, follow me.
With that, the conversation was finished and the spirit controlling Faustein body caused him to disengage from Mandrake and proceeded to walk over to the clearing where everyone was along with Mandrake in tow. After reaching the middle of the clearing, the spirit finally seemed to relinquish control of Faustein's mind and body. Due to that, Faustein came out of the trance-like state he had been in till then and looked about, with an uncharacteristic expression of genuine confusion
"What...am I...doing here? What exactly...happened to me...till now? I cannot...remember..."
He then gazed all around the clearing which now had all the injured, including the apparently much reviled Cyberdramon and his cronies, Strikedramon and Devidramon as well as their grunts, the BlackGuilmon present. Then, he turned to Mandrake and asked
"Do you know what has happened to me till now, perchance? I presume from my cursory glance at this place and its contents that I have been brought here for some reason...but if you could fill me in on the rest of the details, that would be a job well done."

'So this being is not only a spirit but a totem meant for Stein.' Mandrake thought as he and Lothar quietly followed the possessed mad scientist. When they arrived at the spot the spirit wanted said spirit left Stein leaving an understandably confused human to deal with. Now came the tricky part seeing as Mandrake had no way of knowing how the normally calm human would react to the news of being possessed by a spirit.
Deciding the direct approach would probably be the best, Mandrake said "Indeed I do know what happened. Shortly after the battle was over a spirit possessed your body and instructed everyone to gather here unfortunately Cyberdramon and his cronies became part of the deal. Also it seems that some of the prisoners aren't doing so well even with Angemon trying his best to help them."
As for Angemon he was starting to tire so Devimon decided to go to his older brother's aid. Despite not possessing any healing abilities of his own he decided to lend his energy to help Angemon so the angel digimon could continue his efforts.

Faustein had listened calmly to Mandrake's explanation about what had happened to him after the battle and leading up to his current position in the middle of the clearing with all the injured prisoners and their equally, if not more, injured erstwhile captors present there too "Ah, so that was what happened, eh? How intriguing, indeed...it had not struck me that the overseers of the Digital World had been observing me and deemed me fit to become a temporary spirit medium... truly, this bears further..."He would have finished that sentence, were it not for the fact that his keen, roving eyes which had been observing the status of all the prisoners all around him and that of the Angemon and Devimon that were facing great difficulties in healing them, had now noticed another, unfamiliar digimon which was also aiding in the healing efforts...or was trying to do so, but which had started to undergo a nervous meltdown, presumably due to the large patient load "Just WHAT is that digimon over there doing by short circuiting like that? How pitiful a sight this is...Oh well, it looks like this is where my destiny is leading me at this point...How irksome..."Faustein let out an brief, but soft, exasperated sigh and then walked over to the unfamiliar digimon which, upon closer observation, turned out to be one that resembled an anime style female zombie nurse. Upon reaching her, Faustein went into his standard hyper-focused professional mode for, though he loved dramatics as much as any true theater aficionado, the sight of a medicosurgically themed digimon having a nervous breakdown whilst in the midst of treating patients, regardless of the workload, was something that he could not tolerate at all. Thus, without any warning or preamble, he simply grabbed both of the digimon's hands in his own and transfixed her gaze with his fierce, keen one. Then, he remarked with his rich baritone and melodious voice now reflecting the intense fire in his eyes and his words echoing across the clearing and drawing all eyes and ears towards not only him, but also the zombie nurse digimon. "Hey, you!! What sort of medicosurgical professional are you?! Do you not realize that it is imperative for medicosurgical professionals like us to ALWAYS maintain an unflappable composure so that we may execute our healing methods efficiently?! So, heed my words and regain your composure immediately!! That's an irrefutable order!!"Naturally, the zombie nurse digimon was taken aback, but the sheer force as well as the sudden, dominating manner with which he accosted her had achieved their intended effect in the end, namely the reinstatement of a calm demeanor in said zombie nurse digimon. Afterwards, Faustein continued in that same strictly business-like manner, which was markedly different from his usual laidback and even flippant self "Now that you are calm once more, state your name. It would be highly inconvenient to not have this data."As he had given her no choice but to obey, the zombie nurse digimon did as he had asked of her, though her voice was still clearly tremulous from being overpowered like she had been just now "I...m-my name i-is...E-Eliza, s-sir...I-I mean...Dr. Stein..."Faustein's right eyebrow twitched a few times when he heard and saw her stammer like she did, and he frowned briefly before chiding her, though the fact that she somehow knew his name without him giving it did register clearly in his mind/brain, despite his outward ignorance of it "You MUST rid yourself of that nervousness and enunciate your words clearly!! Or do you WANT our patients to be non-compliant with our medicosurgical directives?!Upon hearing that, the zombie nurse digimon was once again stunned, but his words had achieved their purpose yet again, this time causing her to bring her mind into sharp focus, an effect that also carried over to her response to him "R-Right away, Dr. Stein. I am Eliza and I am a member of a digimon species k-known as an Aidmon. The members of my species, including myself, specialize in the administration of medicosurgical treatments of the wounded and sick in any situation, irrespective of their affiliation or predilections, sir. P-Please, instruct me in how to b-best handle this s-situation."Faustein frowned again as he heard her stammer again, albeit far less than before, but he did not admonish her again as time was of the essence here. Instead, he turned about on his heel swiftly and then strode off towards each of the injured prisoners and their former captors in turn, instructing the digimon that he now knew to be called Eliza the Aidmon in how to treat their injuries effectively as she trailed along closely behind him "First, we need to triage these patients. Therefore, instruct the healers among this group to set up an exclusive, sterile tent and then arrange the requisite intensive care equipment inside it. Then, create color coded tags to put on these patients with the following colors: black meaning life threatening and requiring urgent priority level one intensive, urgent care; red meaning requiring immediate attention, but not life threatening; yellow meaning needing observation since their condition is stable, but could change abruptly; green meaning they are the walking wounded and thus can afford to wait for moderate medical attention as their condition is not serious or life threatening; and finally white which means they can be dismissed with minimal medical attention."Since he knew that every second was crucial in this situation, Faustein was speaking rapidly, but after this set of instructions, he paused and inquired of the Aidmon "Do you comprehend these instructions? Respond explicitly if you do."Eliza the Aidmon nodded and simply uttered in a calm voice "Understood, Dr. Stein."Once that was done, Faustein nodded back in acknowledgement and then continued instructing her in the same rapid fire manner as before "Next, carefully shift all the black tagged patients to the intensive care tent and prep the equipment for commencement of emergency stabilization treatment. Afterwards, we will make the rounds together in order to handle all the red category patients. Meanwhile, order the others healers to keep the yellow group patients under close observation and report any and all changes immediately to me. Are you still with me? If yes, then go quickly and attend to the execution of my instructions." He asked of Eliza who nodded and spoke briefly, affirming that she understood his instructions "Right away, Dr. Stein."With that, she headed off and according to the plan he had laid out, the O.R. tent was set up with the necessary equipment being manifested by Eliza's abilities. Then, she rallied the other healers including the Angemon and Devimon and together with their help, triaged the massive crowd of sick and injured digimon, both prisoners and captors alike. After that, they restarted the treatment procedures, starting with the shift of the black tagged digimon to the O.R. tent. Needless to say, Faustein had joined them and was soon engrossed in the intense actions being carried out to slowly but surely stabilize and save the lives of every one of the sick and injured digimon, first in the tent, and then those outside as well. To Mandrake's relief it appeared that Stein took the whole being possessed well and judging by how fascinated he was maybe a little too well but he didn't say anything and neither did Lothar. Then an unfamiliar digimon was seen trying to help the injured that neither Mandrake or Lothar recognized so curiosity peaked both followed Stein as the mad scientist approached the unknown digimon.
Then Stein began speaking to the stranger in a dominating matter that appeared to freak out the stranger that addressed herself as an Aidmon named Eliza. It seemed Stein's dominating way of speaking was causing her stutter and Mandrake walked up alongside Stein and said "Stein stop being so forceful. Not all digimon are so comfortable being spoken to in such a domineering manner. Surely even you understand that."
Fortunately Eliza seemed to calm a bit as Stein ordered her to set up a triage area though Mandrake had no idea how helpful he could be seeing as his healing ability was weak and could only handle minor wounds and many of the former prisoners were well beyond the limit of his ability Cleansing Soul.
The triage unit was soon set up and Eliza had rounded up both Angemon and Devimon. Devimon rubbed the back of his head nervously before he said "I don't know how much help I'll be miss. Unlike my brother, I didn't inherit any healing abilities from my parents."
Meanwhile Lothar had moved toward some of the less injured prisoners with a first aid kit in hand to do what he could. Mandrake approached Eliza and said "I don't know how I can help seeing as my healing ability can only treat minor wounds but I help as best as I can."

Faustein had merely smirked in his usual smug, self-confident manner at Mandrake when the Wizardmon had reprimanded him for speaking so forcefully to Eliza the Aidmon, and then had continued on with his current work, namely the healing of the enormous group of digimon patients under his care. It was then that he overheard Eliza speaking with the Devimon and said Demon Man digimon responding in a hesitant manner due to lack of healing ability. So, he intervened and called out to the Devimon
"Then, your task shall be to oversee the status of the yellow category patients and report any adverse change, regardless of how miniscule, in their status to me as soon as you detect it. I trust you can handle that."
Then, he turned slightly and called out to the elder brother of the Devimon, this being the Angemon in the group
"Your healing may not be sufficient to completely heal the rest of the patients, but from what I have seen, you should be able to administer basic first aid with it. Therefore, follow Eliza around with your younger brother and when he notices any adverse change and reports it to me, your role will be to keep them from deteriorating further till I arrive there.
Lastly, he addressed Mandrake and Lothar since Lothar had strength to handle any non-compliant digimon patients and Mandrake had his Cleansing Soul healing ability
"That is sufficient, for as they say in the vernacular, 'Every little bit counts'. So, I do believe that you and your friend, Lothar, can collaborate with Angemon and his younger brother, the Devimon in following Eliza's instructions and healing the rest of these digimon patients. Those shall be your parts in this affair. I am nearly done here for the time being and can be with you shortly."
Faustein finished giving his instructions and then turned his focus back to healing the Strikedramon who was one of the group's erstwhile captors until his defeat. While he healed him, Faustein could not help but have an arrogant smirk at the injured draconian digimon as he was savoring the feeling of power he had over him to the fullest.

Stein began giving orders to the digimon around him. It seemed Stein noticed how tired Angemon was from his efforts so the order for Devimon to help out Eliza and Angemon made sense and Devimon began doing as ordered without complaint.
Mandrake and Lothar were also moving around with Eliza, Angemon, and Devimon. "Mandrake, what is with this guy? Is he always like this?" Lothar asked clearly annoyed by Stein's behavior.
Mandrake shrugged before he said "I have only met him one other time, old friend, but for all I know all these weird mannerisms could be normal for him. Let's worry about that later. We have injured digimon to tend to."
Lothar nodded as he glanced briefly in Stein's direction watching the mad scientist tending to Strikedramon. At least if Strikedramon became a threat he was perfectly manageable. Shaking his head he realized he was falling behind and sprinted quickly catching up to Mandrake again.
