Name of Mission: The Crystal Tyrant
Member Count: 0/4
Rank: A-Rank
Client: Villagers of Crystalline Ferry
Levels Needed: Rookie-Champion Levels Only. Assisted Ultimate forms are allowed. Combat with Champions or greater may be unavoidable, so Rookies are acceptable under the condition they possess an Assisted Champion form.
Requirements: Some kind of cold weather gear. EV Suits aren't required, but would come in handy if you don't have a thick coat available.
Plot Description: Deep in the Northern Prominence, a small frozen lakeside village by the name of Crystalline Ferry lies just a couple days Southeast of Snowflake Village on foot. It's a small and remote village, and rare is the Trailmon that bothers to come out this way. As such, its residents are tough yet peaceful, generally preferring to keep to themselves and occasionally pointing wayward travelers the way toward milder climates. It's a quiet, humble land, and its residents wouldn't have it any other way.
But seemingly overnight a castle made of ice appeared over the top of the lake that serves as the village's namesake. Their only contact with its denizens have come in the form of a Witchmon clad in white robes, claiming that this land now belongs to her child, a being called Crystal Tyrant. Crystalline Ferry has sent multiple envoys to make contact, including the village chieftain DaiPenmon, yet no one has returned. As such, the remaining residents of Crystalline Ferry swallowed their pride and asked for outside help to defeat the Crystal Tyrant and if possible, rescue those captured within its rimed dungeons.
But the Keep is far from empty. Many wandering Digimon have gathered to serve under the Crystal Tyrant's powers, promised fortune and comfort following their inevitable conquest of the Northern Prominence. In addition, traps are laid throughout the halls to deal with any unwanted visitors. Previous attempts from the villagers have figured out that there seems to be some sort of enchantment within the keep's walls that absorb high concentrations of heat, so simply melting the tower doesn't seem to work, and heat and fire-based techniques may not be as effective as you'd think.
Mission Description: Infiltrate the Crystal Keep. Their methods and point of infiltration is up to your group. After infiltration, you must must defeat or convince the Crystal Tyrant to end their tyrannical ways, and put an end to the source of their power. Additionally, Chief DaiPenmon has last been seen attempting to negotiate with the Crystal Tyrant, and hasn't been seen since. If he's still alive, then it would be prudent to rescue him. Finally, WinterWitchmon seems to have cast some sort of enchantment upon the Keep and its residents, so they may behave unusual. Capturing or defeating WinterWitchmon may or may not make this mission easier.
Objective Summary:
Grace Period: 5 Days, 4 hours, 17 minutes, and 43 seconds.
Reward Offered: 36,000 bits, 41,400 if one side objective is completed, or 46,800 for both.
