"Ferndale, huh?" Kaya repeated after LJ explained where he was from. "What's it like living in a small town? I've lived in Tokyo my whole life, and I bet a big city like this is WAY different than where you're from, huh LJ?" It seemed that Luneth wasn't the only gullible one, as Kaya was buying LJ's story just as equally... though to her credit, LJ's story was actually plausible. Ferndale could be the name of an actual town somewhere in California, after all!
And a quick Google search would prove that a town named Ferndale, California DOES exist!
Once the situation actually started happening, Haru would be the first one to leave, explaining that she had "lady problems." Following that, Luneth and LJ would both claim to need to use the restroom before they headed out the door as well. Clearly the teacher was not happy with this. "Until they get back, no one is allowed to leave the classroom for any reason," she announced. "You are here to learn, not to ditch class and goof off. Now, where were we..."
"I guess guys go to the bathroom together now as well?" Kaya joked to Natsu as she wrote and drew into her notebook, indicating that she really wasn't paying attention to the teacher. If Natsu were to look at her journal, she would see plenty of drawings of cutesy animal-like creatures with simple notes next to some of them, including a couple of T-Rexes and a bird with a bow and arrow.
Luneth heard the door open and shut behind him as he began to pursuit this random Digimon. Turning around, he would see the new kid LJ following behind him. Luneth stopped and faced LJ directly. "Look LJ, I don't know who you are, but I assume you saw what I did and I highly recommend you stay out of this. Please." There was something about LJ that felt different, but Luneth still couldn't put his finger on it.
Luneth would not continue on until LJ agreed to stay back, though if LJ was careful enough Luneth wouldn't notice him following close behind. From there Luneth headed to the first floor entrance, sneaking past the commissary stand and the shoe lockers before finally encountering that Digimon, who was looking inside locker after locker.
"They usually tell students their locker numbers before school starts," Luneth said, attempting to sound cool before getting to business. "Spill it; what are you doing with a Gabumon's pelt? I could tell before you turned your holosuit on that you are definitely not a Gabumon."
