It was all just an ordinary afternoon. She had gotten suckered into helping the basketball team with their practice. Well... it was more like a sly recruitment effort, but Annika didn't have much interest in basketball at the moment. Really, all they were looking at was her height. She didn't even try that much, really. Regardless, she left practice early, hit the showers, and after changing she checked her phone. She had gotten a single text message. Was it another club she had promised to help out? She didn't remember making any promises, at least. She looked at the number, but for some reason all that was displayed was a bunch of strange symbols she had never seen before. Were they supposed to hieroglyphs or something? But then... they moved around and somehow, Annika was able to read a singular message...
Greetings little girl! It's time for you to come to me and reach towards something greater than anything you could ever achieve in your tiny, little world! I'll be waiting for you where The Crimson Ocean Meets the Shadow's Grasp! I hope you're strong enough to reach me! ~Sincerely, your little devil <3
Annika rolled her eyes, thinking it was some kind of advertisement for some nerd shit. She moved to block the number from her phone, but things began to blur around her. The girl's locker room shifted around and Annika almost got dizzy from it. And then things changed.
And almost immediately Annika nearly passed out. She fell over onto cold, snow-covered stone ground as her head spun out of control. She found it difficult to breathe, like the air had suddenly gotten lighter. And the biting cold hurt her lungs. She eventually got her bearings, wearing nothing but her sweats and track jacket. Shivering in place, she managed to get a look around. The sun was rising, despite being late in the afternoon. Had she suddenly passed out overnight? No... with this kind of cold she'd have surely frozen to death. But she did see the icy landscape below. Way, way, way down below. She was on a mountain...? And despite her outfit, she wasn't prepared for such cold weather.
And to top things off, she hadn't even finished drying her hair.

Trudging through the snow Ryuij, now wearing thick black winter coat over his typical red hoodie and matching snow boots, made his way through the snow. Terabyte Mountain was a little colder than he expected but at least he was dressed for it unlike Yoshihiro. The little Calumon was nestled inside the coat to keep warm since his fur was short and not made for such conditions. Yoshihiro's head was poking out of the head hole from his spot snuggling Ryuji's neck as his large ears wiggled around as he kept an ear out for trouble as he always did.
Yet it seemed trouble came in a form that wasn't immediately hearable as both tamer and digimon saw a girl close to Ryuji's age up there alone and she hardly looked dressed for the conditions. His shyness around girls seemingly forgotten, Ryuji ran to the girl and asked "Hey, are you okay? What are you doing up here alone looking like you aren't dressed for this area?" The two just noticed her wet hair. Just what was going on here?

For a first and proper family outing, Mae had been quite uncertain as to why it was that Omen wished to see Terabyte Mountain. It was the site of a number of traumas for Mae. Yes, two was enough to be considered a number. Facing her own inner demons? Check. Facing the Demon Lord of Sloth himself here?
...Check, too.
Perhaps Omen just wanted to see the site of the place? Who knows. In truth, Omen simply wanted to see a place with her mother. A place that was considered important to both her and others. Why? Why did it hold such reverence?
Well, all of these questions needed to wait for the moment, as the Meicrackmon, garbed in a white, hooded robe that had similar patterns as to Omen's own red cloak would quietly hold a hand up. "Why are we stopping?" Omen whispered, just as Mae gestured forward. A girl upon a cliff, seeming like she was far from home, and two others.
Two others that Omen recognized immediately, given her mood immediately soured. "Idiots..." She repeated to herself. Of course...Mae looked down to her daughter. "Do you know them? Did you meet the one up on the cliff on Earth?"
"No. That one's new. The other two though..."
Mae finally decided to call out at Omen trailing off. "I don't think that's the question you should ask. Hey, miss, do you need help getting down from there? You look new here!" A genuine offer for help. Would Annika be the kind of person to accept help from ROBED FURRIES?

Through the bouts of sudden cold and shivering, Annika tried to get her thoughts in order, but no amount of logical deduction could lead to the truth of the matter. For some reason, being teleported to an alien world didn't register with her. Go figure. But then she quickly found that she wasn't alone. A young man about as tall as Annika was approached her, immediately asking her questions on what she was doing. And totally just criticized what she was wearing. Her outfit would suit her for a chilly winter afternoon run, but... this was a little beyond that.
She started to speak, but realized this Japanese boy probably didn't speak Swedish. It took her a second to get her Japanese in order before saying, "H-how am I supposed to know any of that!?" She barked, pressing her body against his. She wasn't really that easy of a young lady, but this was some extenuating circumstances, seeing as she was wet and in the freezing cold. "Where the hell is this, and how did I get here!?"
Then she got distracted by a pair of robed furries from below. She gave them a blank look for a moment. They didn't look quite right to her. But she blinked a couple of times before yelling back "I do not even know where here is! So yes, I would like to leave this place!" Preferably some place warmer. Or at least marginally less freezing. Teenage boys only provided so much warmth.

The sight of Omen and an unknown Meicrackmon, the Meicrackmon was also wearing robes, was quite the surprise as Ryuji turned towards them. Yoshihiro choose this time to poke his head out of the front of the coat and asked "What's going on?" However his question didn't need to be answered out loud as he spotted the others and then said "Nevermind."
Ryuji seemed to get his answer but not in a way he expected as the unknown girl had suddenly snuggled up to him. Yoshihiro couldn't help but snicker as Ryuji was now fumbling with his words but managed to say "I don't k-know how to say this but...." he began as he struggled with forming an answer before he continued "This is another world all together called the Digital World. I don't know how you got here though." Ryuji's was now lending two lifeforms heat and his shyness around girls was showing full force.
"I'm with the stranger. Someplace warmer would be better for everyone." Yoshihiro said with chattering teeth.

"That's the thing, dear. You aren't meant to know. Nobody's ever really prepared for their first time here. Except the ones born here, but that is another matter entirely!" Hm. It seemed as though they would have to get up there to get the others down. Humans were remarkably fragile, so...
Mae glanced down to her daughter, before she carefully picked her up. With both arms. She wasn't cruel enough to just grab Omen by the scruff of her neck or anything. It was then that the robed Meicrackmon would take a -surprisingly quick- leap up with seemingly no effort spent, setting the Wispmon down.
"My ears caught a bit. Yes, this is not Earth." The robed would-be-almost-Ophanim spoke, while Omen stared. "...Good grief, you got a terrible spot to show up in..." The Wispmon murmured. "Mom, you can get them down, right?"
"...I'm a Meicrackmon. Of course I can. What sort of..." Mae sighed. "Sorry. There should be a Trailmon station at the base of the mountain--think of those as train stations, miss..." ...Huh.
Mae had not seen this one in the visions from her foresight before. Not yet, at least. "...Forgive me. What is your name? Some call me Fatebreaker but my name's really just Mae. The flaming fox-like creature is my daughter, Mide."
"Most people call me Omen, though."
