The clock shows 7 pm. It's darker at the moment considering it's winter.
A blond haired young woman tapped her foot gently as she tried to get a hold of a tempo that catches her in an empty classroom. In front of her is a sheet of score. She hummed several times, trying to make sense of her composition. Soemtimes, her hand idly strummed on her pink guitar, labeled with a band sticker represented by angelic wings, roses and thorns, Rosenengel. The group which consist of her and an eternal partner are not oricon charter. But it's not so obscure enough that no one know them of course.
As it stands though, they're currently in hiatus, mainly because Karin have to finish her study first. Many expected her to continue her study, but as for the girl herself? She's actually unsure. She... she felt that going to college halfheartedly will only hurt her in the long run, so she's currently deciding to be a ronin.
She hums some more... and then crumpled the paper that she just dotted with music notes. She tossed it away.
"This is hopeless," she muttered, barely louder than a whisper.
The young woman, Takamiya Karin, pulled her Digivice from her pocket. The screen chained by golden light, as if mocking her. Has anything changed since two years ago? Who knows... She certainly don't want to think more about it at the moment. She really just want to get out of this funk... Especially when the teacher has kindly allowed her to use this club room for her composition purpose.
In this school there's a small tradition that if you belong to a school band, you'll be requested to play a song at your graduation, something like inspiring the juniors apparently. Karin personally would rather not, but she was requested; and plus somehow she felt like she's running away if she doesn't perform there...
"......Mgh...."
There's no need for new song anyway, She can do cover anyway, or at least that's what she thought, but for some reason, she felt if she could make a new song just for the graduation, she could probably... start her post graduation life with much more confidence.
Ahhhh... this sucks..
Oh right, she need to send a message to Miyu just in case. She don't want her to wait for long just in case she came back home like at 10 or something again.... or even 12.
To Miyu: Gonna be home late. School stuff. Don't wait for me. Just leave the meal in the fridge, and I'll reheat it when I'm home.
"Why am I like this anyway," she muttered to no one in particular. She guess a break is in order. She ripped open a pack of Pocky and slipped a stick to her mouth.Sugar is fuel for the brain.... For the moment, how about...
She strums her guitar to tone of Ryuusei and begin singing. "Dokomade itte mo togirenu kumo wo Me de oi nagara omoi kaki megurasu...."
Sometimes when you're stuck... you just have to sing for fun....? Maybe something new will come, but argh...

"I cannot believe I have been so careless," Weston said to himself as he drove his car through Shibuya in the middle of the night. It had been a few hours since school had let out for the day and the hologuised Wisemon made his way home. It had also been ten minutes since he realized that he didn't have his spellbook with him, and that he remember the last place he saw it:
His classroom. Right on the desk. Like an idiot. Now he just had to hope that someone didn't notice it and try to take it home with them or something. It's not as if anyone but Digimon could do magic out of that book, but considering how much of a secret presence Digimon have at Shibuya High... it was concerning, to say the least.
Weston parked his cheap lemon car in the school parking lot, grabbing his keys and exiting the car. It was from there that he noticed a light was turned on in one of the windows. Was there someone currently at the school? This late at night? Weston would have to investigate later after he found his book. He unlocked the door with his staff key to the school and entered, of course locking it behind him, before heading up to the floor that his classroom was on.'
Finally reaching the classroom door, he ended up walking past the club room that he saw through the window earlier, the club room with its lights still on. Not only that, he could hear music being played on the other side. Weston raised an eyebrow, his curiosity was getting the best of him. He slowly raised his hand over to the door, giving a couple of light knocks. "May I come in?" is what whoever was on the other side would hear. Upon getting confirmation, Weston would slide open the door and gaze his eyes upon what looked to be a third year student with a guitar, a couple pieces of crumpled paper on the floor surrounding her. "It's seven o'clock you know, miss. Most students went home by this time. May I ask what you are doing here?" Weston would ask in the nicest tone possible for the situation.

Hm? What's that? Did she heard it wrong or there's a knock? Karin set aside her guitar for a moment. What could it be? From the voice, it sounded like someone she have never met before... rather than a student, perhaps a teacher from his tone?
"Go on ahead," Karin would answer.
Hm, she have never seen this teacher before. Perhaps a transfer teacher or something? Either way... "I have asked the principal for permission to use one of the class, separate from the music room. The music room is used by the music club after all, and there's also band clubs... As for me, I'm just a solo artist. There's a tradition where you must perform if you belong to a band or something, something akin to 'portofolio' I guess."
Though she admit that was a bit too direct for a teacher, but hmn. "...Anyway, I'll be here until nine I think, and then I'll leave. I'm sorry if my playing was a bit too--"
but then, from her Digivice, her partner came out. The Floramon variant immediately assumed her holosuited state after she materalized. Side by side, the two looked so much alike, just like sisters, with the digimon looking slightly older, perhaps in her mid twenties. From her braided hair to simple, clean, yet trendy clothing, she gives off aura of a responsible big sister.
"Ara, good evening."
Karin decided to play fool. This is probably the first time Freya appeared and immediately assumed her holosuited form out of random, especially when there's someone in close proximity. Is she trying to test the person? Or perhaps she felt something... wrong? Karin have no idea, so without missing any beats, she continued
"--loud. Looks like my phone was ringing, pardon about that. Anyway, Sensei, are you new yourself?"
"It's definitely a rarity to see a Digimon teaching humans for sure," Freya added with a smile-
"...You- what would you do if he's not a Digimon!?"
"Oh don't worry, Ojou. I was just thinking why someone would appear at night in school like this. And it wasn't someone usual, especially in end of school year like this. So I decided to... scare them a little bit. Perhaps they would thought that I'm a ghost or something if they weren't related to Digital World..."
".......................I'll just guess that you're bored out of your mind."
"Ara, you could guess? Teehee~"
"................I'm so totally used to this, otherwise I'd tsukkomi so hard."

Okay, so this student had just gotten permission to use this club room tonight to practice for a performance she was doing for graduation, which was a tradition for students that belonged to a band or in her case, a solo artist. Weston nodded his head. "Ah, it's perfectly fine then. I just left something at the school and saw the lights on in this room, forgive me for bothering you-"
And right at that moment, the Digivice activated and a Digimon came right out in front of Weston and Aria, though assuming her holosuited form immediately upon materializing. She... looked a lot like the student, almost as if they were sisters, with the Digimon seemingly taking the role of the older sister thanks to her more mature appearance. The human decided to play dumb and pretend not to notice the person that just appeared right in front of them. Needless to say, Weston was not fooled. "No comment on the Digimon that just appeared then, eh?"
The other holosuited Digimon was also quick to deduce that Weston was indeed one as well, stating how it was a rarity for Digimon to teach humans. "I can perfectly assure you that I have gotten my teaching license, so despite being a Digimon I am perfectly suitable for teaching." Deciding now that the cat was out of the bag, Weston created what looked like a rune in front of him and his disguise immediately vanished, revealing a cloaked Wisemon where the mild-mannered teacher once stood.
Apparently the still unnamed Digimon wanted to try and scare them in case they weren't actually aware of the Digital World. Weston crossed his arms and shook his head. "Tsk, tsk, tsk... that is not a wise choice, I'm afraid. If you were a student I'd have given you a talking to, heheh. Still, never would've expected that I'd encounter another Tamer here at the school."

"Fufu, I see," Freya mused "a Wisemon? That's indeed a good reason as of why you became a teacher. As for myself..." she touched the brooch around her collar. The form starting to glitch out and reveal a Digimon... although, one that's completely lunlike normal one. How to even describe her? Her eyes looked like just any other Floramon, but she looked like a cross between Floramon, Palmon, and something else more humanoid. No tail on her, just something more regal. Not quite childish, but with a hint elegance.
Freya flipped her ivy-like hair slightly to brush away some strands of "hair" away from her face.
"Fufu, then i guess I lucked out of not being a student here. Not like I could anyway. My personality has hard coded me into someone older than twenty... mid twenties actually. So by that logic I have already graduated college at least? Either way, it's good to hear that you got your teaching license. I will not pry where you got it, but either way... The name is Freya. You might not know considering I think you two have never met before... but this one, is Takamiya Karin."
"Pleasure," was all Karin says to that introduction. "Do not mind the plant lady. She's a bit of a mischievous soul. I'm going to go back to my composition, so if you two would like to talk more, go on ahead. As long as it's not too close to the door, as... you know, dunno if the janitor going to peek in or not."
"Yes, that's good enough. Well then, Mr. Wisemon? What should I address you as?"

"Well, being a Wisemon is not the only reason I decided to teach in the human world," Weston admitted, scratching the back of his head. "My nickname might be Weston the Wise but I can assure you that I have moments where I am anything but that..."
That was when Freya deactivated her own holosuit, revealing herself to be an... interestingly designed plant Digimon. It was like a cross between a Floramon, a Palmon and one of the various humanoid plant Digimon that existed in the world. Weston placed his fingers on his "chin" as he observed Freya. "Very interesting... I have never seen a Floramon of your specific variation before. I am most interested in the differences of Digimon from their 'base' counterpart as it were, as believe it or not my own rookie form is a Kotemon. Not a Digimon you'd associate with Wisemon, hm?"
The Floramon explained that her personality hard-coded her into someone in their twenties, which by that point they'd have already finished college. Weston nodded in understanding. She congratulated Weston on getting his teaching license, commenting that she wouldn't pry on where he got it. "Hmhmhm, it was through very legal means, I assure you." The Floramon was introduced as Freya, and her partner as Takamiya Karin. "You can just refer to me as either Sparkwood-sensei or Weston, I am not picky on either."
Karin told Weston not to mind the mischievous plant lady, a description that Weston definitely thought seemed to fit her by this point, before saying that she was going to go back to her composition. "If you do not mind, I would actually like to listen to what you have so far. A song for graduation definitely seems like something that is very important to you."

"Sometimes names and epithet are not something that might quite... describte the person as a whole," Freya admitted, smiling. "Except if that describes something about your entire existence I guess... Royal Knights for example..."
Oh, that's interesting, he could see that she's a Floramon? "Not that many guessed right on the first try. Did you have a technique to tell?" she asked. "Normally someone would guess me as anything but Floramon. They would even ask what kind of species I am. But seeing I got recognized without tail, that's pretty much a good thing. Kotemon to Wisemon isn't quite out of it, I have seen something more out of the left field."
Legal means made Freya smirk then. "Oh? Now you're making me curious. I'll be quite interested where you go it if it can be obtained legally, especially without any degree... which means there must be some connection with government side? Hmnnn..."
"It's not too out of it," Karin commented. "The previous government is quite... lenient with Digimons and had secret funds to create a better living condition for the chosens. Such as putting agents in as teacher and such so chosens could finish their study on time and still get the best of both world.. But new government, after what happened few years ago... yeah."
"Ah, that was unfortunate indeed. Also, I'll stick with Mr. Sparkwood then."
song for graduation, something important to her? Karin snorted. "NAH!" she would answer bluntly. "If anything it's like prom you know? Absolutely unnecessary, but you have to go anyway, because it's tradition! If I can perform any of my songs I'd do it already, but none of that are something that's.... quite proper in school setting."

"'A rose by any other name would smell as sweet,'" Weston would say, quoting the famous line from Romeo and Juliet. "It is true that those with a species name such as Wisemon wouldn't always fall into the same habits as the rest of their species, though most do tend to share similar traits with each other. As for myself, my full title is Weston the Wise, so take that as you will."
Apparently not many were able to guess that Freya was a Floramon on the first try, and she asked how Weston was able to tell. "I did not know it was that difficult. I suppose if anything, your overall shape reminds me of a Floramon. Or maybe I'm just smarter than I thought, hehehe..."
Freya was definitely interested in how Weston was able to legally gain his teaching license. "I think I'll keep that a little secret to myself," the Wisemon responded with a slight wink. Thankfully Karin was able to explain how something like that would be possible a bit more to Freya, at least with the previous government. "Ah, I believe you are referring to DATS, correct? I've done a good job staying under their radar. I just have to make sure that I don't gain any intentions to harm humans in any way and stay in my holosuit when out in public. I'm sure I'll have that first condition down for life~"
Weston was fairly surprised by Karin's reaction to how the Wisemon assumed that she cared about her performance. It was out of tradition more than anything it seemed. She said that she'd just play one of her songs if she could, but hers weren't exactly great for a school setting. "Hm... I see," Weston said, rubbing his chin. "I know you were not one of my students but I still feel inclined to help you in whatever way I can. If the problem with your songs is the lyrics, then I imagine they can be edited to better fit a school graduation ceremony. What sort of songs do you write, Karin?"
