Zipping energetically over the land and occasionally zigging through trees was Sarumon. She was feeling especially full of energy today since this spirit had been claimed she was gradually becoming as hyper as Speed could get. Sure there had been no info regarding this Grandmaster but she was not so foolish to believe such a foe was gone so easily. Maybe she read too many comics as a kid but she was getting the vibe that the creep was still alive and she never ignored her instincts.
As she pulled up away from the trees again she scanned a relatively open area with her glowing red eyes. Then she thought about the shelter Zack mentioned and wondered if this was the place. Sure from her vantage point the place looked like it still needed some work but otherwise looked sturdy and could keep cold and rain out. Was he even in? Mischievous thoughts danced in the demon spider monkey's mind but she was able to reign herself in but boy was it not always an easy feat. Landing not far from the structure she dedigivolved back into her human form and placed her D-Tector in the Digivice Cradle on her right arm.
Stacy was glad that this dark line didn't seem evil but it didn't make things easy for her as in the demonic form she was more prone to mischievous and impulsive behavior. Sure she could be that way but this was her playful mischief dialed up to eleven on the one to ten scale when she herself would normally rate maybe a five out of ten.
Walking up to the shelter she knocked on the door before she gently pushed the door open entering the shelter. She was getting a vibe of something unusual but she would worry about it a little later.

"I'm getting too old for this sh-" Marigold started to say over the crest of the hill as she and her father crossed the land, pushing over the crest of the hill back toward home sweet home. She paused, halfway through rolling a kink out of her Stingmon form's shoulder before they both paused, noticing a figure at the bottom of the hill. "Ssstacy!" Marigold shouted, shrinking down to her FanBeemon form and bolting down the hill at skimming, gliding speeds before slamming a hug into Stacy's back with enough force that it might force them both rolling to the ground, the little golden bee giggling all along the way.
Zack tried to follow behind, a few cuts and scrapes along his distinctive jacket making it clear that he and Marigold had gotten up to their "normal" shenanigans recently. A slight amount of dew on the grass under his feet combined with the steep incline made a sharp squeaking sound as he lost balance, yelping as he tumbled head over heels and then shoulder over shoulder down to the bottom of the hill before coming to a gentle stop. he groaned, sitting up and shaking his helmet clad head before pushing himself to stand.
"Three things. One, Marigold you're a Digimon you don't age and you certainly don't get "too old for things". Two, remind me how on God's green earth you convinced me to let you watch Lethal Weapon and Third and most important, hey Stacy, how nice of you to finally drop by." He said, rolling his neck back and forth before pulling his helmet off, tucking it under his arm for want of anything else to do with it. "I hope you've been taking care of yourself alright, I'd hate to think that you were stopping by because you actually required our services." He said, tucking his gloves into his pockets and pulling his hands away bare of the leather gloves.
"Yea, we heard that after...you know, everything, things at AEGIS has been pretty touch and go." Marigold said, drawing up images none of them were particularly ecstatic to revisit even weeks after the event itself.

Before she could so much as enter the shelter she heard Marigold call out to her and as she turned around she was met by the Fanbeemon flying into her head on knocking her over onto her knees from the force of the bee digimon's excitement. The landing hurt, yes, but she would likely have nothing more severe than a scrape or a bruise from it so no big deal. Sometimes she envied some digimon for their seemingly boundless energy which was definitely a reminder to her that she wasn't nearly as young as she looked. Seeing things were a bit blurry she looked down noticing her glasses had tumbled off her face and were sitting in her lap. As if it wasn't a big deal she picked them up and placed them back on.
As she pushed herself to her feet she barely noticed the weight of Marigold as the Fanbeemon was clinging to her backpack. "Yeah I've been holding up well all considering with the whole Grandmaster incident even recently obtained a new human spirit. Though I haven't spoken much to Speed giving him his space." Stacy said taking in the difference to Zack's visor and said "I see I'm not the only one honoring Psych or am I wrong?" Zack would definitely notice that the tips of her hair were dyed purple instead of the usual blue and there were belts resembling those a Flamedramon wears now sewn onto the arms of her leather jacket and on the belts was a V matching the color of her dyed tips.

"No...No you're not wrong..." He said, running his fingertips over the material of his newly changed visor, the purple glittering grit that he had mixed into the new visor so that he would always be looking out into a reminder of Psych, the promises he had made in the wake of his seeming death to be better, to try harder, to never let something like that happen so long as he was still breathing. "I'm sure you know this, superheroes tend to be sentimental, I couldn't let what happened...happen, rather, I couldn't start to move on without finding some way to hold onto it that would never let me forget." He said, tapping two fingers onto the visor before looking up at her with a weak, half way smile that simply looked WRONG and the exuberant and joyful young man she had always known. It was his eyes. The smile didn't reach his eyes.
Marigold paused for a moment, disconnecting from Stacy's back and buzzing over to her father, rubbing her head into the side of his body until she was able to tuck her hovering body under his arm. His hand patted her on the back, shaking him out of at least SOME of what was evidently still weighing on him. Giving Stacy a good understanding of just how much of an anchor the two of them were for one another.
"Come on, dad. We should head inside. Get something to eat. Something to drink. It's not right to catch up out here in the elements." She said, shaking him awake a little more, prompting that lightless smile and a nod as he held out a gesturing hand and began to walk toward the door.

"I'm quite the sentimental type myself, Zack, I'll admit that." she said as she took in the fact that Zack's smile didn't reach his eyes. She knew that look all to well as she herself had also had a rough year what with loosing a friend and the loss of Psych. Both situations she was powerless to do anything and it still frustrated her to this day. Stacy let out a sigh before looking Zack in the eyes and said "Seems like both of us have had a rough year." She didn't go into details just yet unless someone asked. Hell at times she didn't know how she managed to muster a genuine smile.
Seeing Marigold there acting as an emotional anchor for the distraught young man was a heart warming sight as she was usually battling her inner demons on her own since her brothers weren't always around to help her. Then, to Marigold, she said "Going inside feels like a good idea to me as I think I used up a bunch of my excess energy flying out here." She then followed both father and daughter as her stomach began to gurgle at the mention of food her Flash like appetite rearing its head once again.

Zack seemed to perk up a little bit at her enthusiasm to look inside and get something to eat. It seemed he was able to summoning some real pride and joy at the kind of place that he had built for himself. It looked much better on the inside than the outside, a fireplace to one wall that was still softly steaming with warm embers that made the entire space seem cozy. Most of the furniture was obviously either scavenged or hand made, considering the cleaned up age or obvious seams in construction but it was good enough for the moment.
"Allow me to show you to your seat, madam~" Marigold said, putting on the air of a snooty French waiter as she reached out, offering one of her legs for Stacy to take hold of, pulling her just a tad too quickly to one of the makeshift tables, pulling out a seat and plopping her in it.
"I hope you're ready for some tomato soup and grilled cheese because this place is stocked like a particularly sad bachelor pad at the moment. Feeding even a handful of digimon at the same time tends to be hard on the old wallet, I'm sure you understand." He said, pushing through a pair of saloon doors into the kitchen beyond.

Fortunately Zack seemed to perk up and as soon as they went inside the place seemed much better looking on the interior. The place had a welcoming feel even though the the furniture was scavenged or handmade. Unfortunately on a budget these were often the best ways to obtain furniture since such a thing was expensive to aqcuire brand new. At Marigold's imitation of a snooty French waiter Stacy snickered before accepting the offered limb. Stacy was certainly surprised at the strength of the Fanbeemon's pull but before she could say anything about it she was plopped into a pulled out seat by Marigold.
"Oh believe me I understand how money can go mostly to food since I have the appetite of the Flash and I don't think my metabolism is gonna slow anytime soon." Stacy said before she continued "As someone who spent the first few months on her own living mostly off canned food and Cheerios I learned buying in bulk saves lots of money."
Meanwhile some ways away the buzzing of insect wings could be heard by other digimon and it caused smaller ones to flee as if sensing this digimon was dangerous. Indeed it was as it was an Okuwamon riddled with the scars of many battles. Though not audible to those in the shelter it would likely be known soon as it changed its course in pursuit of data to grow in power.

"Ugh. you've got that right. I never figured I would be one of the kinds of people who would end up cutting coupons and shopping and big bulk stores just to save a little around the margins. Just LOOK at what having children has done to me. I used ta be a contenda!" He said, putting on the grizzled affectation of some washed out old bum at the end of a ratty bar, laughing as he peeked over the divider between the kitchen and the eating area to see Marigold giving him a VERY nonplussed glare, bringing him out of his shell even more. They needed each other, the banter and sarcasm and the way they leaned on one another was the only thing that was keeping the both of them going.
"He says that as if he wouldn't be dead without me." Marigold said, sitting in the seat across from Stacy, looking up at her as she peaked cutely over the edge of the table, her rookie form not having much height to it. "I mean really, Stacy. You've seen him in action. He's got the common sense of a house fly and at least they know when to move out of the way of someone swatting at them. Girl to girl we both know who's really keeping his head on straight." She said, drawing the point of one of her legs along her throat and making an exaggerated croaking sound like someone dropping dead on the spot.

"Yes caring for children can be expensive shame I never made enough money in my lifetime to raise one. My entire budget goes to caring for me so I understand about finding ways to save money where and when I can." Stacy said chuckling when Marigold glared at her father.
"Now. Now. Marigold. A house fly has a much smaller brain and is mostly a creature of instinct so it doesn't know any better." Stacy said with an amused smile before she said "At least he has you to look after him so he doesn't get into as much trouble."
Okuwamon was getting closer his wing vibrations intensifying as he spotted the shelter. There was potential prey there and he knew it and began his dive toward the building. Meanwhile Stacy could hear a buzzing sound heading their way and asked "Do you guys here that?" Shortly after the question was uttered a thump of something hitting the shelter was heard. What ever was doing that seemed to be trying to bash in through the wall. Not the patient sort it seemed and judging by the noise was fairly large. Stacy sighed before she stood up and asked to no one in particular "Why do I always find trouble? I wasn't even looking for it this time."
Either way she was not gonna just wait for whatever was lurking outside to bash its way in or break the building down. She then began speed walking out of the shelter seeing the large bug and bringing out her D-Tector. "That's a big bug. Let's see.." she said scanning the creature and said "Okuwamon and this is an ultimate. No problem."
Okuwamon spun around at the very moment fractal coding appeared around Stacy's right hand before charging at her. Stacy's eyes widened as she dove on the ground just narrowly avoiding the deadly pinchers but a tree near her was not as fortunate as it had been snipped in two before falling down on top the spirit wielder her D-Tector falling from her hand and sliding away from her. This was bad. Then something glowing caught her attention as she saw a dark colored totem in the stump of the tree. This was the second dark totem to appear in a tree. What were the odds?

Zack made sure to click off every valve and switch on the stoves that he was using before he tore the apron off the front of his body and moved out toward the front door. Marigold didn't wait for anything before she bolted up out of her seat and buzzed out the door. She was engulfed in a ball of glowing data, instantly bursting through it in the form of the towering dark green Stingmon. She snarled out a wordless warning to her equally insectoid opponent. She reached out, grabbing one of it's pincher hands, trying to arrest its momentum as she squeezed ever tighter down on it, trying to make the grasping claw give if only for a moment.
"Hell Squeeze!" She snarled, her wings jerking the backward, trying to pull the beast away from the side of the shelter, already silently wincing at the destruction and damage the beast had caused to the already rough looking façade of the building.
Zack wasn't far behind, zipping his coat up tight and putting his helmet on sharply, adjusting it only for a moment before he ducked his head down and charged into the fray. Marigold and Stacy were the only ones who had even a change of making a dent in this monster but as always he would be damned if he stood by and waited. He dropped into a combat roll, clicking his digivice into the side of his boot, huffing as he rose and took a standing leap to wrap his arms around the thrashing mandibles of the insect digimon, pulling upward until his feet were able to leverage the mandibles like he was climbing a jungle gym and then taking another hard leap to grasp onto the intimidating faceplate of the monstrous insect. His insect theme was very fitting in this case, Zack always had to make himself a gadfly as he used as much of his balance and weight as he could to STAMP his hard light heel into whichever eye he was able to locate first in the swirling rust colored details of the titanic predator's disorienting face mask.
If this had gone down any other way Zack would be offering the stranger digimon something to eat and trying to figure out a place within the building for him to stay but once violence was on the table that had to stop before any other considerations.
Zack would not let the safe space he had built be caved in by the first predator to think he was tough.
Hell Squeeze!: Reaching out with both of her heavy clawed hands she grabs a hold of any vulnerable part of her opponent that she can reach, clenching down with both hands as hard as she can until she hears or feels something give. Leaves an effect that slows the opponent down for two turns if not toppling them right to the mat for the three count outright (Turn 1/4)

Marigold's attempts to pull Okuwamon away didn't so much as annoy him as he had managed to lure out prey from the building as he planned. As he moved to swat Marigold away he felt Zack climb him like he was a living jungle gym. What did annoy Okuwamon though was that the human had the nerve to stomp on him. Now he started to jerk and thrash in an attempt to dislodge Zack. He didn't even pay remote attention to Stacy as he figured he could consume her later since she wasn't going anywhere any time soon.
As for Stacy she strained trying to reach her D-Tector and failed. "Son of a bitch. I hate these short arms sometimes." she muttered with a strained grunt as she continued trying to reach her digivice. Gritting her teeth in frustration as she didn't want to ask for help but knew she had no choice, called out "Excuse me! Could someone either push my D-Tector closer or even move this damned tree please."

"One eleventh hour rescue coming right up!" Zack said, leaping from the head of the beast, bounding off of it's outstretched arm and then tucking into another roll as he hit the ground, ducking any attempted swipes from the monster as best he was able. The banter was a defense mechanism, his mind putting up walls so that he wouldn't actually pause for too long to consider the insane, suicidal odds that he was tackling without so much as a silent prayer to parts unknown. "Hold him for just a little bit longer, sugar, I'm sure you've got him on the ropes!" he said, holding up a thumb's up to the struggling insectoid warrior.
"OH WILL YOU @#$%&* SHUT IT!" She said, showing a very...colorful side of her vocabulary as she still tried to squeeze as hard as she could if only to keep the massive monster focused on something other than her squishy father bolting for Stacy, making a sharp dip to pick up the digivice, depositing it in her hand before vaulting the log to go back towards Marigold all without really slowing down.

Somehow Zack got off Okuwamon and to her digivice without a scratch and Stacy sighed in relief when it was put in her hand. Then he got the tree off her back. Standing up rubbing her sore back and popping things back into place, she said "Thanks, Zack." Turning back to the tree stump she pointed her D-Tector at the totem drawing it within the digivice.
Time to see what this beast spirit could do. Fractal coding appeared around her right hand once more before she ran her hand over the digivice in her left hand. "Execute! Beast Spirit Evolution!" Her body became enveloped in dark shadows as it shrunk to five feet before dark leathery wings extended from the shadows and glowing red eyes were seen. From the shadows a strong voice with dramatic flair said "Gone. Gone. The form of man. Rise the demon." The shadows dispersed revealing a demon spider monkey wearing cybernetic chest armor and wearing a cannon on each arm. Her tail had a five inch piece of metal on the end of it. Then she called out her forms name. "Yanchamon!"
Yanchamon spread her wings before flapping them and taking flight heading towards Okuwamon. At five feet tall she looked down right tiny compared to the large insect. "Don't worry, you two, I got yer back." she said as she zipped at Okuwamon at high speed. Her hands and feet charged with dark energy as she landed on the struggling Okuwamon before she said "Monkey Madness!" She then unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks on the large beetles head while Okuwamon continued to struggle.
OOC: Monkey Madness: She taps into the full potential of her dark side before launching herself at an opponent with a flurry of punches and kicks charged with her dark energy. (Cooldown of two posts) Cooldown 0/2 posts.

"Yea! Don't mention it! Just, yknow, maybe DO SOMETHING BEFORE HE WRECKS MY HOUSE!" Zack said, pulling another acrobatics act out of his ass in order to bounce from one of the swinging limbs, scrambling up his arm and then landing, spread eagle on as much of the monster's face as he could get a hold of, reaching out his hands and arms to try and cover the beast's eyes. Even if he couldn't hurt the massive exoskeletal kaiju he could turn himself into a big enough annoyance to throw the bastard off the balance long enough for someone ELSE to hit him...he hoped. he very nearly missed laughing at the reference Stacy shouted, having to grunt through a chuckle in order to avoid getting bucked off the angry beast as Marigold still endeavored to keep one of its hands busy.
"if I didn't...*grunt*...know any better I'd say that you were a woman after my father's own heart." Marigold said, digging the claws of her feet into the ground in order to try and hold one of those massive pincer claws back or at least slow it down, her wings buzzing frantically in mid air just to leverage as much inertia and force as she could grab from the air around her. She was also indulging in the hero's right to strained banter just to keep herself from losing it when everything seemed to be crashing down on top of her all at once. She seemed to be a bit less...talented about it then her father, Zack wasn't exactly the kind to be shouting curses to the heavens after all

Yanchemon kind of expected Zack to climb his way back up the insectoid kaiju but it certainly made things more difficut with what she next had in mind. "Don't worry, Zack, this pest won't trash your place. I have an idea." Yanchemon said balancing on the thrashing Okuwamon's head. Though still slowed down by Marigold's efforts, Okuwamon managed to stumble away from the shelter dragging Marigold along.
That's when she saw Okuwamon's pinchers begin to glow a bright red and her instincts kicked in with even a better idea than her original. The demonic monkey's eyes began glowing brighter as Okuwamon said "Crimson Guillotine!" His then drove his glowing pinchers down toward Marigold.
With a mischievous smirk Yanchemon leapt off Okuwamon's head her eyes still glowing as bright as before. "Monkey See Monkey Do!" she called out a pair of crimson pinchers appearing as she flew in front of Okuwamon as it seemed that mischievous spider monkey had copied Okuwamon's attack. The two attacks met head on looking as if there was a brief grappling contest going on before the Okuwamon's pincher's ceased glowing and the ones Yanchemon created vanished. Okuwamon roared in rage as the cheeky monkey then blew a raspberry at the large bug.
OOC: Crimson Guillotine: Pinchers glow red before increasing their crushing power by 50% and then attempts to crush an opponent. (Cooldown of 3 posts) Cooldown 0/3 posts.
