Zack scrambled and clamored to keep himself on top of the insect assailant's head, reaching out to keep something in front of the beast's eyes as much as he could ever as he was swung and rocked back and forth, groaning and cursing as he was tossed like a ragdoll back and forth, only barely able to keep his fingers tightly locked around the edges of the creature's facemask. If nothing else Zack was showing off his physical prowess today just by LITERALLY hanging on in this scenario.
"Don't worry about me, Stacyyyy!" He howled as he was tossed around during the fight, sounding like he was on a rollercoaster with no seatbelt as every clash and slamming of inertia through the body of the towering insectoid nearly shook him loose but he hung on tenaciously trying to give the pair of fighting ladies an advantage. "Worst thing that this little punk can do to me is make me...urgh...sick..." He said, blinking hard, trying to ignore the nausea that was rising in the back of his throat as he was tossed around.
Marigold finally released the claw she had had a death grip on, groaning as she skidded to a wobbling stop in the unsteady mud, looking a little green around the gills herself.

Seeing as Zack was looking a little green around the gills, Yanchemon knew he wouldn't be able to hold on forever. As Marigold stumbled back, Yanchemon knew it was time to strike. "Darkness Cannon!" Yanchemon said as she brought her arm mounted cannons together as the dark power channeled within the weapons. Then out shot forth a powerful burst of dark energy. The attack flew out hitting Okuwamon square in the chest the force of the blow sending the large bug tumbling backwards clutching his chest. Before the insect hit the ground though, Yanchemon flew over to Zack snatching him from Okuwamon's head and placed the tamer safely on the ground next to his daughter.
"Zack, how are you holding up?" she asked before the sight of Okuwamon getting up caused her to stare the bug down. Okuwamon was still clutching his chest. "Still up for more, huh? In that case I'm game." Yanchemon said a smirk spreading across her face as a holy aura surrounded the demonic monkey. Seeing this Okuwamon went pale and took off weakly into the sky making himself scarce.

Zack doubled over, hands on his knees, rocking slightly on the balls of his feet and at the axis of his waist. He groaned and huffed for air, pulling his helmet off and tossing it into the brush at once side. Marigold rushed up to him, genuinely worried about him before he raised up one gloved hand with a single finger extended, hoping that the casual gesture might undo some of the actual worry on the faces of the ladies around him.
"Hold on...hold on, it's just my entire internal system wondering how much I need to yak. negotiations are not going well." he said shutting his eyes tight for a moment before rolling himself slowly up to a standing position, still a tiny bit pale and rubbing his eyes. "Remind me who told me it was a good idea to grab onto that thing face first? I think his halitosis is soaked into my costume."
"You did." Marigold said, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms in front of her chest judgementally.
"Ah yes, the ultimate enemy of the Digi Rider...the consequences of his own decision making." he said, shaking his fist to the sky weakly.

Yanchemon looked over at Zack as he struggled with the battle to keep his stomach contents in and it seemed so far so good. Now that Okuwamon had taken off the rush of adrenaline was wearing off on the spirit wielder as she returned to her human form squinting her eyes as they had momentarily blurred meaning her stomach was needing food badly.
"Perhaps we should head inside and relax. I don't know about you two but it seems between digivolving twice and ending up in a battle, I feel like I'm just shy of collapsing." Stacy said walking over to the shelter wall and leaning against it for support. If she was to be honest with herself she wasn't doing as good as she was trying to show but, perhaps with food, she would be doing better. Her eyes blurred again as she felt dizzy falling to her knees. Now she was worried as those signs could also indicate an oncoming seizure fit but she prayed that was not the case.

Zack didn't even wait, within a second of Stacy showing any signs of difficulty he bolted up, putting on a brave face and swooping in beside her, tucking himself under one of her arms and hoisting her up, carrying as much of her weight as he needed to to keep her steady. he turned to Marigold who shrunk down to her FanBeemon form. She didn't even need to be told as he turned his head to give her a steady look and she bolted inside.
"Emergency Digimon provisions coming right up!" She said, slamming into the kitchen with the force of an oncoming missile strike and slamming open the doors to some of the cupboards. She came out, fluttering above the ground straining to carry at least four fat, bulging reusable shopping bags she dropped in front of the seat where Zack helped Stacy sit down. It was seemingly endless amounts of granola bars, trail mix, cheeses, jerky and nuts. Good, hearty, dense food that would help her get calories and blood sugar fast.
"Hey. Hey. Hey. Woah just breath. Grab something, preferably many somethings from the bag. Marigold has water and gatorade coming."

When Zack started lifting the one hundred thirty pound stick insect that Stacy was she felt the world around her spinning at a faster pace. It felt to her like she was in a centrifuge. "No down. The spinning. I can barely see." Stacy said with a weak groan as she tried to weakly slide free but to no avail. "Damn it. I hate this. I hate feeling weak." she groaned in frustration. Fortunately she wasn't on her feet long as she was deposited in a seat a short time later and she sighed in relief. Though still dizzy it wasn't as bad as before but clutched the seat tightly as if trying to keep from falling off.
Next Marigold came in her arms filled with bags with lots of food. When the bags were set down Stacy reached for them her vision had mostly returned so she could tell what was in the bags for the most part. Still couldn't make out the letters on the granola bars so she left them alone. The same applied for the trail mix and nuts. Soon she had a bunch of cheese and jerky. After struggling with some of the packaging she began eating and slowly her vision returned to normal but she was still dizzy so she wasn't planning on standing up anytime soon.

"Stacy, do you have a nut allergy?" Zack said, reaching out and placing a hand on her upper back between her shoulder blades, petting down her back just to try and quiet the thumping, thunderous reactions of her body to the lack of food and the sudden rushes of digivolution and the adrenaline that came with a fight. "Cause that seems like something that was should make a note of. Like literally." he said, looking up at Marigold who again bolted back and could be heard rummaging through supplies until she found a pen and some paper attached to a clipboard. She dropped it in her father's lap to make the note should it be nessacary.
Marigold had deposited at least a dozen fat bottles of sports drinks and cold water in front of her, all of them sliding softly with dew that circled around the outside of the packaging and made slight rings of condensation against the table underneath. Zack, for the moment, didn't seem all the worried about the use of coasters though, he was more concerned about the friend on his couch looking like she was in the middle of some kind of attack.
"Do you have some kind of condition I should know about? We can start keeping supplies here at the shelter." he said, his brow furrowed in genuine and focused concern. He had left his helmet in the grass outside so he was looking bare into her eyes.

"No, Zack, I have no food allergies I'm aware of. I just don't like most nuts and since my eyes were too blurry to read the granola bar packages I left them alone since many have nuts I don't like." Stacy said as she pulled back a bit from Zack as she didn't always enjoy being touched.
When the drinks were brought in by Marigold, Stacy grabbed one of the sports drinks and, despite not really being that thirsty, drank it down with gusto with the liquid vanishing in record time. Then she looked at the granola bars and after looking a few of the packages over finding them free of the nuts she disliked though she did find some that were chocolate with almonds.
When asked if she had some kind of condition he should know about she finished the granola bar she had been eating knowing this would of come up sooner or later. It wasn't top secret info it was just that Zack was the first person who had asked since she became a spirit wielder. "I figured someone would eventually ask. Zack. Marigold. You may not know it but I have a few disabilities but the one that is the most dangerous is the fact that I have epilepsy. When I had that wave of dizziness and weakness from needing food I was worried I would have a seizure fit as my early seizure warnings are frighteningly similar." Stacy explained before picking up another sports drink.

Zack's reaction to the news of her disability was clear. he wasn't overly concerned like she was some fragile being of glass that would shatter right there before his eyes. She didn't need that kind of pity, he knew she didn't because he was one of the people who had seen her fighting up close and she didn't need a babysitter. hell, Zack probably needed more constant minding than she did. He relaxed, letting some of the tension out of his body. It was much more scary to think that he didn't have any idea of what she was going through than to be given information about a disorder that she seemingly already know how to handle. He did have one gentle question that needed to be asked in that moment though.
"Is there anything. Supplies, medication, anything we can do to make this a safe place for you even considering your medical issues?" He said, offering the suggestion very gently. he wasn't panicked, again he knew her too well to freak out unless she was like, one foot in the gave already. That being said he would have given that kind of offer to anyone who had nearly passed out on his couch, the whole "shelter" part of the idea was probably part of that.
Marigold wasn't actually involved in that particular conversation, doing her best in a much more simple way to make Stacy comfortable, very sweetly and softly humming to herself as she sorted granola bars into two piles. Nuts and no nuts, munching on the nut containing ones herself.

"Having things like basic first aid supplies would be an excellent start. That and some training in first aid never hurts either. Fortunately I myself never travel to the Digital World without my medications. Seizures aren't fun to watch or experience and epilepsy is something I wouldn't wish on anyone regardless of how awful some people are." Stacy said taking in a deep breath through her nose before she then said "I'm glad I didn't have a seizure or I wouldn't of been able to function that well for three days."
Stacy then took a few sips of the second sports drink before picking up some more jerky as she said "Other than being very hungry I'm feeling much better." She then began tearing into the jerky with the same vigor as many hungry rookies. Being a ravenous practically bottomless pit was something she couldn't help and likely would still be one years from now if some of her older relatives were anything to go by.

Marigold had eventually finished sorting through the pile of granola bars in front of her, pushing a huge stack of chocolate and fruit flavored bars toward Stacy, keeping all the ones with lots of nuts over on her side and keeping a stack of the ones with peanut butter in between them. She didn't know where Stacy stood on that particular culinary divide so she didn't want to make any assumption and hog them all for herself, especially when she was ALSO playing the part of the hungry rookie, peeling the granola bars open like bananas with the spikes at the end of her legs and popping them in one whole bar at a time.
"Stacy honestly I'm hurt." he said, half sarcastically as he walked over to a dresser in the corner of the room, flinging the doors open to show her it was stacked with box after box of first aid supplies. "I mean how the hell do you think I'm still breathing? I was just asking if there was anything specific I should keep around. Even just a bottle of meds for a worst case scenario."

Stacy watched as Marigold sorted the piles of granola bars placing the peanut butter ones in the middle of them. Smiling at the Fanbeemon, she said "You can have the peanut butter ones, Marigold. I'm not found of the stuff since the taste is not pleasant to me and the smell makes me nauseous. I don't know why to be honest. I do like almonds though especially when they're covered in chocolate."
Upon seeing Zack open a dresser filled with first aid supplies she chuckled before she said "Seeing as you seem to get in more trouble than I do it is good you are so prepared. I suppose I could periodically send some of my spare medications here incase I have need of them after a seizure. Always good to plan ahead as best as I possibly can, right?" Stacy then grabbed ahold of a fruit filled granola bar opening it and chowing down. What was with other places offering granola bars for free and usually only having ones she wouldn't touch? Maybe she was just weird for hating peanut butter.

Marigold did NOT need to be told twice about getting offered the sweet and succulent granola bars for free. She had offered them freely and as such felt no remorse at getting offered them right back, chowing down and stuffing her face more than a little pigishly.
"You know if she was a human kid I'd admonish her for her table manners every time she sat down. Kinda hard to make her feel bad about it when I know literally every other digimon has to eat like that too, I'm just lucky she doesn't toss the wrappers all over my floor." He said, shrugging. "Her diet is weird for digimon it seems, in that she seems to have one at all. She can and will only eat things that come from plants, even if it's not really vegetable matter in itself. Chocolate, granola, nuts, peanut butter. Doesn't make a lick of sense to me but then again what DOES make sense in our lives?" He said, shrugging and shutting the dresser doors to pack away the medical supplies again, walking back over to them.

Stacy continued to watch Marigold chow down as Zack mentioned not only his daughter's table manners, though somewhat impolite, and they didn't bother the spirit wielder that much. She shrugged before she said "Marigold isn't that bad. I've personally seen human children old enough to know better that purposely trash places they eat at. What's worse is adults with them sometimes do nothing in regards to disciplining them for the atrocious behavior. You seem to be a better parent than some I've seen."
"As for Marigold's diet, it isn't that strange. So far I've noticed it isn't uncommon for digimon to be omnivores while there still are carnivorous and herbivores alike. Marigold is just the first digimon I've been around that was an herbivore."
"As for the Digital World making sense, I wouldn't worry about it since abnormal seems to be normal in this world. Think about it, Zack, in this world anomalies tend to disregard even the dubious rules this world may have."

"Herbivorous is one thing but I don't think you're understanding just how weirdly broad of definitions her "diet" seems to have. I will demonstrate." he said, walking back into the kitchen and coming out with a very common and mundane looking item, a wooden kitchen spoon. he tossed it into the air end of end before catching it by the handle again and placing it down in front of Marigold. 'Snack time~" he said, petting along her head like he was ruffling a child's hair, leaning down and kissing the top of her head.
Marigold, as with most Digimon, didn't seem to need the extra incentive to eat what was placed in front of her as she bent down, picked up the wooden spoon in her clasping silver mandibles and crunched it in half, more and more of the spoon vanishing down into her mouth with each crunch of her jaws until it was all totally gone, at which point she returned to eating the normally edible granola bars without a care.
"See? See? It's ANYTHING that could be called plant matter and it wigs me out sometimes."
