LJ sat in the grass watching it wave in the breeze enjoying the late afternoon sun. After spending the morning doing martial arts training before then working on mastering full control of his magic. Though it was far from perfect he wasn't floating off spontaneously anymore which he took as a blessing. He still had some issues with his temper too but he had been looking into techniques to handle that and as a result had begun meditating everyday after he finished his training.
Since his meditation was now done he was just relaxing minding his own business not knowing of the threat coming to the plains before the young Leomon X's stomach began to growl indicating he was hungry. "Looks like it's time to look for something to eat." LJ said as he pushed himself to his feet straightening his black ninja garb the wind gently blowing his blue cape. He then began looking around the Network Plains looking for something to tame the beast that was his stomach.
Soon he came upon the sight of a river filled with fish and some wild mushrooms growing nearby. After picking one of the mushrooms and sniffing it, he realized that they weren't poisonous so he started gathering some before turning to face the river. The mushrooms would make for a good side to go with the fish he planned to catch.
LJ kneeled next to the river looking at the various fish swimming around flexing his claws and waiting for the right moment to strike before swiping at the water catching a fish with his claws. He then repeated the process several times before he had a pile of fish that would last at least the rest of the day if not maybe a couple since he also had mushrooms to work with. Gathering the fish he then grabbed some wood by breaking off old tree branches and walked back to where he started. Soon he had a fire roaring and was cooking the fish and mushrooms and the scent began rolling through the plains.

This section of the Digital World was boring. Confirmed. Kurumi wasn't entirely what to do with herself in this place, and it wasn't really giving her much to work with. In fact, it might actually be worst than when she'd gotten stuck in the desert. Only because the desert actually ended up having neat ruins and things that someone else got to murder while she watched.
There wasn't anything entertaining here. The only real perk it had was that she wasn't horribly lost. Oh, and that it wasn't unbearably hot. So, two perks!
Still, the girl roamed the plains randomly. Maybe if she wandered enough, something interesting would pop out at her! Good or bad, she really wasn't picky at this point. So far, she hadn't even spotted any interesting Digimon. And the few that had come into line of sight were either too far away for her to investigate, or left upon seeing they weren't the only one around! Sort of disappointing!
In this very dull adventure, Rumi found herself following a smell that had so suddenly hit her. She wasn't going to lie, it was a pretty gross stench. But, mostly because the odors caused by cooking fish rarely appealed to her. Actually eating fish was another story. And her stomach must have known that! Plus, the smell of someone cooking most likely meant she could find someone to take entertainment in. Hopefully. Unless she was about to find a Digimon that was literally just a talking piece of cooked cod.
...You know, she wouldn't complain about finding that either. Were Digimon actually edible?
Not that it was going to matter. The closer she got to the source of the smell, the more obvious the chef was not a piece of fish. And most definitely didn't look edible itself. Ah well. It was probably for the best! Granted, approaching a hungry lion didn't seem necessarily smart to avoid Rumi becoming lunch, but nobody said she was the most sensible.
Plus, he wore a cape and that probably made him a superhero or something weird like that.
So, she continued approaching. And once comfortably in earshot, she'd greet with a simple, "hey there." Was it rude to try to convince a lion to share the food they worked (probably) hard to get? Most definitely. Was she going to see if she could pull it off anyway? Of course! Granted, she was going to do her best to be polite in such a rude situation. "I could smell someone cooking from," the blonde made a vague gesture in the direction she came, "pretty far away." Distance was hard to measure and Rumi wasn't going to bother trying to figure it out. "Are you making something from scratch?" Was it even an option to buy pre-made meals in the Digital World? Admittedly, the teen didn't know a whole lot about how that sort of thing worked. But it felt like a safe assumption!
Definitely a safer assumption than approaching a literal lion and assuming it wasn't going to maul her, at the very least.

LJ's ears flicked as the sound of footsteps was heard approaching him before a female voice spoke up causing LJ to look up from his cooking to see a human who seemed to be in her late teens. A high schooler perhaps? LJ smiled at the girl before he said "Yeah I should of guessed the smell of cooking meat would carry well in these plains. As for the food, yes it's from scratch but nothing that fancy. Just cooking some fish with a side of wild mushrooms. I'm not really what one would call a chef."
LJ looked the teen over before he then said "I don't see a digimon with you so either you have a partner or partners inside your digivice or you are a spirit wielder of some kind. My name is Lothar Junior. LJ for short. What's your name and what brings you out here? Looking for some peace and quiet?"
Unknown to either the Leomon X or the human teen the being pursing LJ had just entered the Network Plains but was approaching the pair silently from downwind so the young magical ninja couldn't detect it coming. The dark one narrowed its eyes and grinned as now it would be the chance to finally finish the digimon who helped create him off.

Smiling probably meant the lion was friendly! That was likely the best case scenario here. See, capes definitely meant they couldn't be a badguy. Probably. "I mean, that sounds like a pretty good combination, considering I dunno what other things you'd be able to find out here." Mostly because she hadn't really been focusing on foraging! It was kind of a shame she didn't carry any sort of spices or herbs with her! But, that'd be an awfully weird thing to carry around. "I'd say if you ever find parsley out here to add it, but it's easy to mix up with hemlock, so it's a bad idea." Then, there was a slight pause, "actually I think parsley is poisonous to cats. And a lot of animals. So, scratch that whole thing."
Which queued up the next question, actually! "I don't know if it's rude to ask, but like, are you allergic to the same things that cats in the Human World are allergic to? Like lilies and parsley?" Allergic was the wrong word, but it was close enough. She couldn't imagine that eating a tiny bit of parsley was going to do much to a humanoid lion creature, though it was hard to say for certain without asking!
If it did, it would actually be kind of funny.
At the talk of partners and spirits, the blonde gave a puzzled look. "I mean, I got a partner. I don't think she fits in the digivice thing though. Also, she's asleep at home." And by home, she absolutely meant the human world. Mori was probably entirely unconscious, enjoying the luxury known as a bed! And also probably had no idea that Rumi had even left the house.
Not that she had actually answered the question correctly. "She was given to me, though. I have the spirit things, too." It was probably getting fairly obvious that Rumi had no idea what she was talking about. "Is 'both' an option?" Poor LJ, stuck dealing with someone this oblivious. It wasn't possible to be both a tamer and a spirit user! That was like day-one knowledge, probably!
"Name's Kurumi, though. Or Rumi. Whichever works. Nice to meet'cha." And as far as her reason for being out here? "I was just kind of exploring, not gonna lie. There's not a whole lot out here though, huh?" Except for a stealth-attacker that neither of them knew about yet! "Are you here for the peace and quiet? Or do you have dinner out here all the time?"

"I don't really know what else there is to eat out here. I only looked around for a short time finding the fish and mushrooms. There probably are more things if I looked longer but since I was hungry I settled for the first thing I found." LJ said before the teen mentioned finding parsley before mentioning it was poisonous to cats. "Yeah. Parsley can be poisonous to many Human World animals but I don't have that issue as I have a diet similar to humans. You know as in an omnivorous diet."
"As for allergies, life threatening or otherwise, I'm not sure as none have come up so far. It seems another trait I share with other members of my family so I guess that's a blessing. I'd hate to be allergic to something that is either everywhere or tastes really good. I don't think anyone enjoys allergies." LJ said as he kept an eye on the cooking food.
When told that she had a partner and a spirit LJ gave her a puzzled look before it dawned on him what she must of meant before he said "So you are a spirit wielder and have a digimon also helping you out that was given to you. How does that work?" LJ asked looking puzzled before he said "While not all spirit wielders have digimon helping them out it is not unheard of. I guess since she's sleeping she might not know you headed out. Though I'm sure you can handle yourself if you need to so she'd have less to worry about."
"Nice to meet you too, Rumi. While I agree there isn't much out here I was not here to sightsee. I originally came out here to train as there is lots of room out here to do so. That is until I got hungry that is." LJ said before looking at the food again before he said "Looks like the food is done. Would you like to have some? I have some extra."

"Sounds like something I'd do, too," she commented, taking another look around the plains. Yeah. Fish and mushrooms seemed kind of like the best option. Unless one wanted to just eat straight grass. It was interesting that Digi-Felines seemed more human than feline when it came to consuming things, though. There was little denying that she thought it had been kind of a stereotype, seeing a cat prepping fish. Must have been wrong! "Huh. Today I learned."
It was probably for the best. At least she didn't have to be concerned about accidentally feeding cat Digimon something bad solely based on regular cats! Which probably applied to most animal Digimon. "You're lucky. Food is, like, one of the best things in life." Mostly because a lot of other things sucked, but she wasn't going to include that detail aloud! "Imagine being allergic to peanut butter or something." Truly tragic.
At least they both seemed confused about Rumi's state of being in the Digital World. Until LJ began to unravel it! The blonde gave a nod to his deduction. She was, indeed, a spirit user after all! And had a Digimon helping her! Even if the word 'helping' was a bit of a stretch. "What d'ya mean?" She wasn't entirely sure if she was missing part of the question on how it worked. "Like, why she wants to help me out?" Maybe it was actually weird for Digimon to help humans. That could explain a lot.
Nobody seemed overly concerned about Rumi being out and about without her 'partner' at least. "Yeah, I'm not too worried." Mori probably would be once she woke up, though! "She's like a week old anyway and probably needs to sleep." Granted, Amorie was usually very large for only being a week old. It took 'big baby' to an extreme. "Do you have a partner? Human-thing?" Were humans also considered partners in tamer relations? It made sense either way, she supposed.
The idea of coming out here to train hadn't really crossed the girl's mind, though. She probably needed to do things like that too, right? The whole spirit user thing supposedly made her a cheaty-face according to a certain talking hat, but that didn't mean she couldn't improve upon that. Was that why the plains were so empty? This lion monster murdered them for training?
If only Rumi understood that not every Digimon built strength through murder.
"What're you training for?" Probably for violence.
At least it seemed that they would be able to discuss it over food! And that she had managed to get invited to eat with him, instead of looking rude! Fish was way better than living off the candy bars she carried around all day. "Oh, that'd be nice. Thanks for offering."
And to further avoid coming off as horrendously rude, she'd wait until LJ got himself set up with his food, before taking any herself. After all, the chef should have first dibs. Assuming nothing would interrupt them, that is!

"I agree. Having food allergies of any kind would suck." LJ said before he continued "I guess I should feel fortunate that I don't have dietary restrictions. Sure makes foraging and hunting for food much easier that's for sure."
When Rumi asked what LJ meant about why Mori would want to help her out, LJ said "I meant nothing bad by it. It's just there are some digimon who either want nothing to do with humans or actively try to kill them. If your friend wants to spend time with you in any form isn't that a good thing?" Sure he didn't understand the relationship between those two but at least assumed they were civil with each other if nothing else.
"Oh so she's young. I know how that feels seeing as I'm not even a year old yet by human terms." LJ said in response to Rumi mentioning her companion being young. Then she asked if he had a partner and LJ said "No I don't have a partner. I'm just a humble wild digimon who happens to attend school in the Human World."
When Rumi asked what LJ was training for he replied "Nothing too extreme really. Just some martial arts training followed by training with my magic as I haven't fully mastered it yet." Sure it was unusual for a Leomon X to possess magic but given his parentage with one of his dads being a Wizardmon it made sense at some level for some magical traits to be passed on.
Rumi accepted the offering and LJ began passing out the food to the both of them before he asked "So what kind of digimon do you digivolve into anyway? Just curious since spirit wielders can become a wide variety of digimon but usually depending on some kind of theme."

The blonde nodded at the thought of trying to forage for food when one had an allergy. "Very fortunate." Maybe peanut butter wasn't so much the concern of a foraging lion. But hey, one never knew. Rumi wouldn't really be surprised if she found jars of peanut butter hanging from trees around here, honestly.
Giving a hum, the girl tilted her head to the side. "I mean, I guess you're right. It'd be pretty unfortunate if she tried to kill me or something." Partly, because that meant she was going against the loyalty aspect of her programming! Partly, because it felt bad to have to murder something that wasn't even an adult yet, mentally. "She is better than a lot of humans I know, at least." The bar was pretty low, after all!
There would be a bit of nodding at acknowledging how young Mori was. And the nodding continued through LJ's age, until everything fell into place and there was an abrupt stop to the agreeing. "Yer not even a year old?" What. "You're so tall though," and with this statement, she lifted her hand far above her head, as if exaggeratedly measuring someone. "Are you gonna become a giant when you're full grown?" How friggin' big did Digimon get if this was pretty much a toddler?
For the second, she wasn't going to get into the school portion of that conversation. This was a lot to wrap her head around already!
Either way, this not-even-one-year-old was apparently more skilled than her. Martial arts? Magic? The heck. Some days, tying her own shoes felt too tough! "Oh," she acknowledged, slowly, "so the cape is for wizard, not for superhero?" Wow, what a blunder. Couldn't believe she mixed up superhero and magical capes. Don't let the nerds know. Whoever those were.
Once food was passed out, and the teen was preparing to eat, they'd begin talk of her spirits! Which was probably easier said than done. "They get themes?" And now we were back to her clear lack of experience. She wasn't too worried about it, though. "Can pink be a theme?" Half a joke, half dead serious. Most of her forms were pink in some way! Or purple. It would make sense! "M' first spirit's a Ghostmon." Did that help at all? It... didn't really feel like it, no. She gave a small hum while debating it, "maybe it's, like, occult?" Something about the word felt right. She wasn't really sure why, exactly. It just kind of came to her! Either way, she'd wait for some confirmation on if that was even a potential 'theme' thing.
For now, she'd take a test bite of the food that had drawn her here in the first place! "Oh, this is really good."

LJ could understand how a some digimon could be better than some humans she knew. Since digimon were often very like humans from the social aspect it wasn't uncommon for both humans and digimon to share the same vices and virtues. That meant that things like greed or hatred were unfortunately a common sight even for a digimon as young as himself. "I understand things like some humans being awful all too well given I attend school in the Human World and that some of the students are cruel to others for seemingly no reason at times. Yet bullying is also something some digimon do sadly." LJ said with a sigh as the thought of how others could be so cruel still boggled his mind.
When Rumi mentioned how tall he was after being shocked at learning how old he was LJ smiled. Digimon aged differently from humans so he never thought too much about it. "Well one of my dads is a foot taller than I am and I'm seven feet tall. Since digimon can be either gigantic at higher levels or tiny I don't know how big I'll be during the rest of my levels. I'm at the champion level now and my parents prefer to also go around in their champion forms but can reach mega if they have to and they are pretty young adults themselves."
Rumi looked as if her mind was blown at some of the information she was absorbing before she finally spoke again and LJ said "I can see where I could be interpreted as a superhero but I'm like a wizard and ninja rolled into one. As for digimon we tend to mature at a different rate than humans reaching rookie level in roughly a matter of months at most. To reach mega it can take some digimon many years and that is not counting certain circumstances that can spark digivolution at younger ages."
As the two settled down to eat Rumi asked about spirits having themes so LJ took it to mean that she wanted more info. Made sense seeing as she was a spirit wielder herself so he said "As far as I know the theme, no matter how odd it might be, usually makes some sense even if it doesn't appear that way at first." When Rumi said her first form was a Ghostmon he raised his brow before he said "A pink Ghostmon sure is interesting though it is not unheard of for some digimon to be a different color than the average of a certain species. Even I was proof of that as my fresh to rookie forms were the same shade of purple as an Impmon and I was also of the virus attribute for those first three levels suggesting I inherited more than just magic from one of my parents."
As LJ and Rumi began eating the figure decided to make its move and picked up speed and by the time crunching leaves caught LJ's attention it was too late as the figure had grabbed the Leomon X by the throat holding him off the ground. LJ found himself staring into the red eyes of what looked like an IceLeomon but only this one was a deep blue color that was almost black and had blood red claws. When the figure spoke LJ's eyes widened in horrified recognition. "Hello boy. Nice to see you again."

LJ surely had no idea how spot-on he was about people being awful! Or, he did. Just not in Rumi's exact experiences, hopefully. The blonde clicked her tongue to the roof of her mouth, "you ain't getting bullied at school, right?" She could see it being possible. What, with him being a big lion-thing. Though she was still quite certain he did not go to a human school looking like that. "How's school work for you, anyway?" What grade did they even know to put him in? The whole thing seemed kind of confusing!
Then again, most things were confusing when it came to Digimon. Like heights. And just... well. There was a whole list, but nobody wanted to get into that. "Sounds pretty convenient. Bet you never have a hard time reachin' the top shelf." Of course that was the girl's first priority. What else would it have been? If her grandma wouldn't have a heart-attack, she'd totally abuse digivolving to reach stuff at home! But it was pretty much a rule to respect old ladies that didn't have to let Rumi live with them.
It was kind of nice to get some slightly-more-sane perspective on Digimon, though. The last one she'd spoken to didn't really seem to realize that humans and Digimon were basically aliens, and thus Rumi couldn't understand half the shit that was discussed in that time. This conversation was far more beginner-friendly! "A wizard ninja, huh," the blonde mulled, "bet someone could make an epic anime using a protag like that." It'd probably make big bucks! Hopefully more than all those ones about being slimes, or whatever. Those were weird. Though, she'd only really hum an, "interesting," at the timeframe provided. Months to years, huh?
She could think on that a little more while they ate. Not that there was a whole lot to absorb from the topic! Continuing to munch on the fish and mushrooms, she would listen to the Leomon X's discussion on color variants, before feeling the need to pop in, "I dunno what an Impmon looks like." Purple, apparently. "They mean?" She also had no idea what a virus type was! But, it sounded mean, right?
She also realized she had absolutely no idea what LJ looked like in earlier forms. Hopefully something fuzzy.
Not that there was an opportunity to ask. So disappointing! Instead, some other lion guy had shown up and was looking a little less than friendly. Totally looked evil. Was probably one of those Virus Types they'd been talking about. It didn't seem particularly ideal to let LJ just hang away from the ground by the monster, but it also felt like there was a certain level of etiquette that needed displayed here.
Surely this wasn't an emergency, right? "You got this handled, mister WizardNinja?" A really casual question, when things didn't seem so casual! But nobody liked a kill-stealer, and Rumi wasn't about to infringe on someone else's claim if LJ had some sort of plan! Plus, what if she actually had roles reversed and capes meant he was the badguy and that the mean-looking lion was actually a good guy? One could never be too certain!

When Rumi asked if LJ was getting bullied in school the young Leomon X shook his head before he said "Nope. I have been pretty lucky to avoid being bullied. I guess my holosuit appearance could be why since my cover is that of a taller than average middle schooler. As for how school is going for me, well I suppose it's going alright. At least I seem to be passing all my classes. My parents would likely be disappointed in me if I was slacking off in my education. If you are confused on my grade, I am in the first year of middle school."
Then the subject of height came up and LJ chuckled thinking of his Wizardmon father and Jijimon grandfather trying to reach things on higher shelves without using their telekinesis before he said "I guess being tall is pretty handy since I didn't get telekinesis to help with things like high shelves. I've even helped short people in Shibuya reach their groceries. Makes me wonder why the shelves have to be higher than the average height of humans anyway. I guess that's just one thing about humans that will never make any sense to me."
The thought of an anime protag that a wizard ninja made LJ grin before he said "When it comes to anime I'd be shocked if such a thing didn't exist already. Though my magic seems to be not anywhere as diverse as one of my dads. Mine seems to be combat related, yes, but the most noted magical ability I have is being able to conjure magical weapons." Yet with digivolution who knew what skills he would pick up. Sure he hadn't mentioned that he could fly only because he hadn't completely mastered that magical ability yet.
"Impmon look kind of like a human child but with three instead of five digits and has claws on its hands and feet. As for if they are mean that is something that can't normally be judged with digimon based on species. Some scary digimon, for example, can be very nice folks once you get to know them. Just as in the Human World, with digimon one shouldn't judge a book by its cover." LJ said with a smile. He himself had seen digimon of various sizes and shapes but was still cautious of digimon with a skeletal appearance due to the SkullSatamon that still invaded his dreams turning them into nightmares.
The IceLeomon glanced at the girl and snorted with amusement before he said "Hardly. This boy is only a champion level digimon though I was expecting him to be more of a threat for an ultimate like myself."
"W-Who are you?" LJ gasped as he pulled at the IceLeomon's grip allowing him to take in more air.
Looking down at LJ the IceLeomon cruelly grinned and said "I guess since it's been awhile since we met you don't remember me. I was that shadow that took digimon form. Yet since I was unable to absorb your data I had to kill other digimon for their data. Now not only am I a real digimon but I have gotten stronger than the very being that brought me life with his own dark emotions."

It was still a little hard to grasp how schooling worked for the lion. But hey, who was Rumi to judge? At least he wasn't being bullied, though. A bit of relief might have showed, in her body relaxing slightly. Was she entirely considering beating up some bully middle schoolers in the name of a random lion she'd just met? Totally.
Though, it wasn't very easy to imagine LJ as a middle schooler as-is. Maybe someday she'd get to see his holosuit and it'd all make sense! "Keep doin' good at school," she tried to encourage. Which was a little tough, considering the blonde had never been particularly fond of the educational aspect of school. "You got anything you plan on doin' with your education?" That's a rather big question to ask a middle-schooler though! She couldn't say she expected too much for an answer.
"Mm, true," she nodded, in regards to the anime probably already existing. "I'll haveta search it up when I get home. If I see you 'round after that, I'll let you know what I find." Not that LJ couldn't do exactly the same thing, if he were in the human world fairly often for school. But, that was a minor detail. Plus, one of them would probably forget before then anyway! Assuming they ever met up again, anyway! "Weapon summoning could be cool, though. That sounds versatile on its own." Frankly, Rumi would just be happy with any magic skills, considering it wasn't a thing most humans had. "Do you create them out of, like, nothing? Or do you basically teleport weapons from other places or dimensions?" Did it really matter? Nah. But it was interesting anyway!
Now, she was onto the visual that was depicted for Impmons. And frankly, it sounded terrifying. Children could be horrifying enough on their own. Paint it the color of Barney the Dinosaur and give it some claws, and that was probably more than enough to be nightmare fuel! Blugh! Rumi gave a small shudder at the thought. That was a true gremlin image. "Huh. So Digimon really are the same as humans, huh?" Except, with fancy attacks and telekinesis and stuff.
That just automatically made Digimon cooler than humans, to be honest.
Less cool was that apparently, Digimon were just as unpleasant as humans. Proven by the one that has so rudely interrupted their meal! "Gotcha," the teen commented, after clicking her tongue to the roof of her mouth. "So, what you're saying is, you're trash that can only pick on people smaller than you?" Admittedly, she wasn't fully sure of the details around the situation. It seemed a bit more deep than how she was laying it out! But, man, way to pick on the little guy. Even if the little guy wasn't so little!
Fractal code wrapped around her left hand, before a ritual circle would flash under her feet. "I'm feelin' real generous," the spirit user spoke slowly, as the human form was replaced with that of Holydramon. "So how 'bout you let go, and we discuss things proper, yeah?" After all, attacking while LJ was being held like that could risk him being used as a shield! Or, television shows made Rumi assume that could be the case. Maybe, she could either be more interesting than the Leomon X, or at least prove enough of a distraction for him to get free somehow!
Hopefully, at least.
What a bad day to leave Amorie at home.

LJ thought for a moment when asked on what he was planning to do with his education and shrugged before he said "It's a fair question but to be honest I don't know yet what I plan to do education wise at this point. Then again how many in middle school know what they want for sure at that point." The last few words were followed by a chuckle.
"Yeah anime can be quite a strange form of human media where it seems to be possible for just about anything to happen." LJ said before the subject shifted to that of his ability to summon weapons. Rumi had even asked how the ability worked. "Well the ability is very versatile allowing me to conjure what ever handheld weapon I would think is best in a situation. As for how it works, I channel the magic through my body before summoning the weapon from thin air. Though it would of been cool if I could of been able to teleport things from other places or dimensions. Who knows what I may be capable of with the right training."
LJ noticed Rumi's shudder at the talk of Impmon resembling a child and briefly wondered if she was uncomfortable with children or the fact such a digimon closely resembled one. After a bit he decided it was a subject best to leave alone as he didn't want to keep bringing a subject up if it made her uncomfortable.
The dark colored IceLeomon merely looked at the teen as she spoke before chuckling in response before saying "Big of you to say such things for a little human."
LJ was beginning to feel light headed until his eyes began to spark a light purple before he gasped out "Digi Armor Ener..."
LJ's words were cut off by the IceLeomon tightening his grip on the Leomon X before he condescendingly said "Ah. Ah. Ah. There will be no armor digivolving from you boy."
By then he turned back to Rumi seeing the girl was a spirit wielder and had digivolved into Holydramon. "So the little human is a spirit wielder. How interesting." he said but did not release his grip around LJ's neck. LJ was seeing spots now so it was now or never as he focused his magic with his Spiritual Conjuring ability summoning a Kunai knife into his hand but instead of throwing it like one normally would he stabbed it into the hand of his captor causing the IceLeomon to howl in pain and drop LJ to the ground coughing and gasping to desperately take in air.
OOC: LJ uses his Spiritual Conjuring to summon a Kunai knife and stab IceLeomon in the hand with it. Non conventional but effective. Spiritual Conjuring: Uses his magic to conjure various handheld weapons before attempting to attack opponents with them. The conjured weapon lasts 2 posts.(Cooldown of 2 posts) Lasts 0/2 posts.

"Fair 'nuff," Rumi nodded. "When I was in that grade, I wanted to be like," she paused, to recall. "A pro tennis player or something, I think." Talk about unachievable! Also, talk about abandoned dreams. She had no idea why she had even thought that one was a good idea, nowadays!
Soon, they would shift onto anime and then to how LJ's ability worked. Which really sounded like something from an anime still. No way to escape the anime fate at this rate! "Sounds pretty handy, not gonna lie," she commented. "Bet you'll find a way to make it even cooler over time." Honestly, it was possible to make it even fancier than being able to summon weapons from elsewhere! But, the spirit user had no idea how such a thing could even work, so she'd try not to speculate too hard.
Shame they couldn't keep things peaceful for too much longer. What, with the IceLeomon and all. Way to ruin their meal. "You're some weird, two-dimensional villain type, huh," the blonde commented, flatly. She knew some humans that thought they were edgy, too. If only she could treat them the way she fully intended to handle this 'badguy.'
Apparently evolution was off the table for LJ for the second, but at least he was able to free himself once Rumi spirit digivolved! "Little Human ain't dumb enough to be here if she couldn't be useful," the dragon informed, barely glancing to LJ. He was fine. For now, at least! "Wanna run, WizardNinja?" Of course, she was well aware that the Leomon X still wasn't really in the greatest position to easily do much. And his opponent probably would just go back to choking him out if nothing was done!
Which was why, as she was asking LJ, data around her began to form, and crystalize into sharp pieces. Her own Conjuring, if you will! The razor-sharp pieces would soon launch at their target - the mysterious IceLeomon. "I haven't decided if I'm lettin' you run yet, though." This little human had a lot of big words, it seemed!
Admittedly, she was interested to see how this entire ordeal was going to play out!
Combat Log: Rumi used Conjure on the super-evil, weirdly colored IceLeomon.
-Conjure: Several shards comprised of data are summoned in front of Holydramon. They may be launched at up to three targets, or converge on one for increased damage.

"So did you get any good at tennis, Rumi?" LJ asked taking on the look of a housecat filled with curiosity over something unknown. With him being a lion man it was an old habit for him by now and not that weird a reaction given he had the same inquisitive nature as his parents.
"It is pretty handy and some digimon are capable of learning new abilities over time through hard work. For example one of my dads picked up the ability to shape shift into animals and astral project." LJ said remembering how his Wizardmon father Mandrake had changed overtime.
"I guess one could interpret my as two dimensional seeing I was born from a shadow being that surfaced from the little kitties' dark emotions." IceLeomon said with a cold smirk not seemingly afraid of the spirit wielder. Why were digimon this potentially boneheaded in regards to humans that could digivolve no one seemed to know.
After being stabbed by the Kunai knife IceLeomon gave LJ the coldest glare and snarled as he pulled the knife from his hand and threw it towards the ground. By then LJ had managed to get to his feet as Rumi asked if he wanted to run. As light purple magical sparks danced from his eyes LJ said "No. I'm not gonna run from this guy."
IceLeomon saw the shards being conjured by Rumi and smirked before drawing the axe that was resting on his back ready for the shards if they came his way. Meanwhile LJ had begun glowing with the light of digivolution. "Leomon X digivolve to.....IceLeomon X!" Though still in ninja garb complete with a blue cape he looked just like the average IceLeomon X in everyway except his normally brown eyes were sparking light purple due to both his anger and magic but somehow he was under control as he said "Still wanna fight? As you can see I'm not such a little kitty anymore." The seven foot white lion bent down to pick up his kunai knife from the ground holding it ready to use it.
OOC: Spiritual Conjuring: Uses his magic to conjure various handheld weapons before attempting to attack opponents with them. The conjured weapon lasts 2 posts.(Cooldown of 2 posts) Lasts 1/2 posts.
